On the racism MJ/Zendaya (still) faces

So, it shouldn’t be too long before the new Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer gets released. Therefore I’d like to humbly try to provide help to fight the racism these ladies are victims of, by pointing out what I think are the most reccuring patterns in the commentaries MJ/Zendaya receives. This idea came to me as I remembered I had fun screen shoting messy comments at some point and keeping them in a file just in case I’d need to prove a point, and I guess this time has come

I'm aware a bunch are just really dying for a redhead, fiery and all that, Mary Jane on big screen, and that a bunch are just jealous fangirls thinking they stand a chance with someone who doesn’t even know they exist, but also none of these are reasons to be borderline, or full on racist. Some usernames are masked because I thought it wasn't that deep but still dumb, some are lucky they didn't appear, and some appear because I think that if one has the nerves to make these kind of statements, probably some exposing can not hurt them

I have no screen shots for this, but the reactions to MJ saying “Therefore I have value?” in the first Far From Home trailer. In which the NEXT second she says she is joking, but you know, gotta make this an issue.I read with my own two eyes that it would "put Peter in a bad mood", or "I hate how feminist she is, makes me hate her and the actress". For this latter point, notice, Brie Larson has been getting the stupidest hate for saying she wanted her press tour to not only be white as men interviewers and being a feminist

But still, let us not be delusional, this remains about race.

What is the standard for chemistry? Is calling him a "loser" truly the end of the world or is it all a reach because MJ doesn't cater to hegemonic feminity, so it makes her rudw? (S/O to Brie Larson again, who is having her whole body language analyzed to prove her co stars hate her/is being compared to every actress who has played a super hero to prove that it's ok to dislike her because she is not "nice" compared to the hegemonic standard these x other actresses correspond to.) Btw, “I love Zendaya but” is a classic too, usually prefaces nonsense

4. "I love x character who is a poc/x black character so this take is invalid”. Wrong. Not being racist towards one race is not a stop from being anti black, furthermore in this case, it is not a stop from not falling into mysoginoir. Very simply, “mysoginy directed towards black womenwhere race and gender both play roles in bias.” It’s all systemic. Loving Ned doesn't prevent you from being anti black. Men are privileged over women and then it’s race coming into play, always. Zendaya/MJ is a black woman, so she is less worthy of everything, and so it makes little sense in these people’s minds that Peter would like her, let alone that he’d want to date her. Ned is a man, so he is not a threat to fangirls’ fantasies, in which you’ll also notice they treat Ned/Jacob Batalon better than MJ (well, whatever "better" is when you aren’t a skinny white boy….).

5. "Liz was better". (Very often is the pov of, wait for it, white girls (often male fans would rather not even have Spidey in a relationship all short, so yeah). Because she was a fleshed out character absolutely not solely designed as a plot device to the Toomes reveal, or because she embodied the behavior that is deemed as THE one women should have if they want a man's attention and so it is easier to project yourself into her than it is to do so with MJ? That was rhetorical. Gender socialization. Hegemonic feminity. Be white, nice, docile, so very sweet and ready to please, or you won't find a man/job! But men can be shitty and yet will be called badass or witty. Think here for a sec, how many people who dislike Michelle for being rude, are into TONY STARK/Irondad? And God knows I love Tony, but as if he is a saintl? From his pre cave antics to the way he was with Peter in Homecoming and some other stuff in between. Also, he would fucking love MJ lol? What differentiates them so much at the end of the day, from the constant sarcasm to the obvious need to hide their feelings behind it? And that she clearly loves Peter, as did Tony but it took him until Endgame to show it. What makes it ok for him to not have shown it from the jump but makes MJ undeserving of character developpement and of Peter falling in love with her in Far From Home after an obviously planned character developpement? The fact that Tony is white and male. That's it

Another thing that does not appear here but that exists, related to MJ or not, is attempting to erase Zendaya’s blackness to deny these reactions could possibly be racially motivated. “She is half white”. Or whatever headass take of the likes. But we know those 50% are not the reason why she is “Not the real MJ”. So which is it? Is she too black or not white enough? The answer is: Both. And both are racist statements, period. The people saying “they should have just named her Mary Jane” are also the same who were all up Zendaya and Marvel’s ass when her casting news dropped, bet

In conclusion, racism has many more faces else than explicitly using the n word, exactly like these microgressions above

They are not ok, because they stem from systematic racism and oppression, including negative stereotyping. This idea that black women are aggressive, not desirable, and not beautiful enough etc is nothing new but it still does not make it tolerable. Nobody who is racist or using a microagression, consciously or not, will actually ever admit it when called out on it. So dare to open that can of worms if you can. And for those who have been called out, please actually listen to why this statement is being made, especially if it's by a POC. That way you should technically never face this accusation again because you'd have listened and learned, instead of not listening and learning and finding yourself getting called names every turn, because you refused the lesson you could have gotten at the last turn

Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out on July 2nd and its press tour is starting today. I'd like to encourage everyone to above all, provide Zendaya/MJ the support she is going to need online, as she will this time get more to chew in this movie than in Homecoming, and yet people will still find reasons to complain, but also to not forget to pay attention in the future, to the frequency of use of these patterns when talking about MJ/Zendaya and to not let them stop you from defending these ladies. Let Z (and Marvel too while at it) know you have their back. She is a very attuned to social media lady, she would not miss the memo, nor would Marvel

Chapter 21.

“Mm. No. Not fair.” Noble mumbles as my lips fall from his. “That's not fair.”

My eager mouth brushes across the edge of his jaw in the darkened corner of this bathroom stall. “No?”

“I offered to get us the fuck out of here back at the last spot and you turned me down.”

“I know. I regret that.”

“And you're not gonna get me off in this bathroom.”

“I probably won't. That might seem suspicious.”

He sputters a charming laugh, reaching for my sides.

I pull him to me, wrapping an arm around his neck and backing up a step to the opposite wall. “Alright, I'll duck out before it's noticeable. I just wanted to come say hi.”

“Don't be cute. God that's even worse.”

“Okay fine, I'm done being cute.”

Noble just growls his frustration low in his chest and it makes me laugh. There I set my palms and ease him away as I turn for the latch on the door.

“Knowing your girlfriend, she'll probably follow you in here if you leave her any longer than ten seconds,” I tease. Stopping at the sink, I give myself a once-over in the mirror, fixing my shirt back into the waist of my pants.

“Who?”

I scoff, echoing his obvious question. “Who do you think?”

“Oh yeah. She probably would.”

Mariana had been all over Noble since we got here. It turns out it’s her night off, but she works at Rio. And she’d been making it her mission to call girls -- dancers -- over to him as if seeking his approval.

He makes his way to the bank of sinks. “You act like it’s just me. If that other one parked herself next to you any longer, you'd probably write her a ticket.”

With a tipsy laugh, I find that more amusing than it really is and shake my head. “I mean what am I supposed to do? She asked me if I want a dance but like… what does that even mean?”

Noble cuts me a look, tilting his head as if I'm an idiot.

“I know what it means but like, I don't want one. So-- Do I just say no thanks, but you're welcome to sit and hang out?”

“I doubt she came to work tonight to sit and hang out. Even with you, Prince Charming.”

“She kinda looks like Nina,” I quip, noticing the flick of one eyebrow.

Noble merely manages a narrowed, thoughtful gaze just before the door is pushed open and another guy enters.

With a faint shrug, I turn for the door. “You think?” Then I make my way out, leaving Noble to wait a minute or two before he follows back to our table.

The section that Mariana had secured for us is tucked away, an almost private banquette on a raised level overlooking a bar, a stage and a dance floor below. It’s dark aside from pulsing turquoise and violet club lights. And between that, and the thud of heavy bass, the distinct sweet, powdery scent happening in here -- not to mention half naked women -- everything has got me on a little sensory overload. It takes a moment to adjust back to it once I exit the bathroom.

I find our section once more and return to the table beside Noble’s friends on the couch. “So are you friends with Nick from back when he…. you know, partied a lot?” Andrew leans in beside me to ask.

“Um.” My eyes scan the room before I ease back to answer him. “A little of that, yeah.”

“I’ve only really known him since like, last year but from what he’s told me about his past in New York, he’s come a long way.”

I’m not quite sure how much of his past in New York Noble has revealed. But I assume Andrew’s talking about his drug use specifically.

“Yeah, that’s never really been my scene,” I tell him. “But I know he’s had some close calls.”

“I think it carried over when he moved here. There were definitely a few mornings he didn’t show up for work when I first knew him. I got sent over to his place once just to check on him and he was pretty out of it--”

Pressing my lips together, I try to ignore the way my pulse jumps, twitching uneasy in my gut. I look at him. “Recently?”

“No.” Andrew shakes his head.

I nod, relieved. “That’s good.”

“Not at all. He’s like a changed man.”

I exhale a soft laugh and see Noble crossing over to our section. With a covert look, his gaze briefly meets mine and that uneasy tug is allayed.

“Changed for the better, yeah?” I wonder, almost absently. My eyes can’t help but follow him.

“Yeah.” Andrew laughs. “It’s good to see. Maybe he’s working out more or something.”

A subtle curve surfaces at my cheek. “Maybe.”

“He comes to work at seven a.m. and he’s already run like, a 10K or some shit.”

“What?” I have to scoff at the exaggeration, but there is some truth to that claim and I’m proud of him. “He’s an asshole,” I mutter with an amused smirk.

Andrew chuckles. “Hey, whatever keeps him out of trouble.”

“Probably not this place,” I quip.

Noble maneuvers behind our table and makes a big scene out of wedging himself between Andrew and me on the couch. We shift apart to make room. “Oh, you fools haven't been kicked out of here yet?” He announces over the music, letting his weight fall heavy at my side.

“I'm sure we would’ve but apparently you have pull around here.”

“No-no-no,” Noble insists. “Believe it or not, I have no strings to pull at this place--”

“Hey-oh!” Andrew shouts, clearly happy about the pun. “I could probably find some strings to pull around here.”

“Um, you watch your hands there,” Noble warns him with a tilted grin. “If Paige questions me about your behavior tonight, I want to be able to answer her honestly.”

Andrew nods with an appreciative laugh just before he downs what remains of his cocktail. Then he moves to stand up, lifting innocent hands. “I don’t want any trouble.” He gestures a finger away as if he’s headed elsewhere just as the brunette dancer, the Nina look-alike, who was chatting me up earlier returns.

“You don’t want any trouble?” She teases with an indignant cry.

With a shake of his head, Andrew retreats a step, as if to ensure he keeps his distance. “No trouble,” he tells her with a smile. “Light mischief, maybe. But you know who’s been asking for big trouble? It’s this one.” He drops a palm hard on my shoulder. “He’s from out of town. He said Miami girls aren’t as hot as New York girls--”

Her mouth drops open and she narrows a dark gaze at me.

“I never--” I insist, but I sputter a laugh anyway as I reach out to shove Andrew on the back. “Hey, I never said that.”

“Ha!” Noble shouts, leaning toward the table to reach for his drink.

Andrew, amused with himself, leaves me one more slap on the back of the shoulder before he rounds the table, calling “I’ll be back in a minute,” and makes his way down the steps.

“So what do you do in New York?” She wonders, helping herself to a seat on my lap. “Can I guess?”

“Sure.” I adjust beneath her, but her weight hardly bothers me. She’s just perched there on one thigh, turned so her body faces Noble, and wearing a tiny black, but completely see-through, bra tied in a bow in the center of her chest and skimpy black bottoms with a matching bow at each hip.

“Something with like, a bank. Investments,” she guesses.

Noble cracks up beside me when he hears this and I have to let my head drop with a laugh.

“What if I told you--” He chimes in. “That you could buy Branotech for nineteen dollars a share and double your portfolio in only eight weeks--?”

“Shhh--” My chest caves with a heavy laugh and I reach over to shove him. “Shut up. Dumbass.”

“Brani-what?” She wonders.

“Nothing.” I shake my head. “Don't listen to him.” Then I push my palm hard against his thigh, a move that I could easily chalk up to drunken, platonic contact. But the way he responds with the push back of his leg beneath my hand… god, fuck.

He adjusts, leaning forward to set his glass on the table. “It's a dark horse stock. Nobody believes me.”

“I don't work at a bank,” I tell her. “Or a hedge fund.”

“You’re in marketing.”

“No.”

She trails a hand through my hair prompting me to lift my chin to look at her with a heavy gaze. “A brain surgeon?”

With a half smile, I murmur and agreeable, “Yes, I'm a brain surgeon.”

“Mm, that's amazing,” she purrs, pretending to believe me.

“I know.”

She giggles, her fist tightening in my hair before she pushes my head aside. “Ugh, you. It's a good thing you don't live here,” she notes. “You'd break my heart in a hot second.”

“I wouldn't do that.”

She smirks. “Do you remember my name?”

“Veronica.”

“Yes.” Her eyes flash with her appreciative grin.

“Do you remember mine?” I wonder.

She moves a little closer, slowly shaking long dark hair off one bare shoulder. She looks at me, a coy jump of one eyebrow before she leans into my ear. There, she sips a faint breath, the warmth ghosting across my skin just as her bottom lip brushes my neck, right below my ear.

The move makes me blink hard and I know I don’t breathe for a moment. There’s no way I can sit unfazed at the sensation. My pulse is already so damn jumpy, little pops of electric heat shooting off inside me at just about anything at this point.

I feel her lips at my ear and she answers, “Jamie.”

I clear my throat and glance over at Noble. I see his brows lift, lips parting with a smile that’s caught by surprise. But he lets his head fall and he laughs, running his hand down his face.

“Good memory,” is all I can manage. I gesture to Noble beside me. “What about him?”

“That's Nick.”

“You've seen him in here before?”

She seems to scrutinize him for a moment and shakes her head. “No.”

Noble cuts me this offended look.

I defend the accusation before he even says anything. “What, I'm just asking. You know people everywhere else we've been tonight.”

As soon as I make the comment , Noble’s gaze settles on me for just a second longer than it should. But I don’t break it quick enough either.

Veronica speaks up. “I’m sure I’d remember him.”

I look at her, acknowledging that with a nod, and notice how her shiny eyes flit all around my face for a quiet beat. Then they narrow in thought and she bites her lip.

“What’s that?” I wonder, mirroring her contemplation.

“You don’t want a dance, do you?”

“I didn’t say that.” I shrug. Because I’m not sure how to answer that. It’s kind of the whole point of being here.

“Does he?” She turns her attention to Noble.

With a meaningful, furrowed brow, he beckons her closer with a finger and leans toward us. Veronica complies, stretching closer to him from my lap where Noble lets his hand go to the side of her head to steady her as he murmurs something there in her ear.

I glance over at him. This close to me, he consumes my attention and I don’t know how long I can fake that he’s not. I’m probably failing to convince people that he doesn’t already have it anyway.

He looks at me as he talks to her. And when that covert gaze connects it makes me feel my pulse in my throat. It’s all I can do to manage a steady, controlled exhale through my nose.

After a moment, she nods and begins to ease off of my lap. She squeezes fingers one more time in my hair before dragging her nails there and tells us she’ll be back in a minute.

A heavy breath escapes me when I look over at him, ready to cut this shit and leave. “Are we outta here?”

“No-no-no.” He smirks. “She’s coming back and you’re getting another drink. And a lapdance.”

Blowing out a laugh, I glance away and shake my head. “I’ll remember this generosity, I hope you know.”

“Good,” he notes.

What I wouldn’t trade right now to slam him up against the nearest wall in some dark room so hard it knocks the air from his chest. I’d grasp that thick hair of his in my fingers and fill him with the heat from my mouth until it was all that sustained him. I’d be the most shamelessly possessive fuck he’d ever known and he’d be ruined.

But instead I adjust back, blinking the room into focus when our cocktail waitress shows up with fresh drinks and Veronica leading the way.

Kevin, Taraji, Erykah and Liam: Movie Gonna Tank? Blame Black People.

On December 4, 2018 Kevin Hart was announced as the 2019 Oscars host. That same day, a writer named Benjamin Lee posted an excerpt from an old interview and multiple tweets showing Hart making homophobic jokes and comments. From there, the timeline was quick. So quick that for some, it became suspect.

Almost a month of relative silence as he continued on his comedy tour out of the country.

Ellen appearance where she absolved him despite concerns from Black gay community.

Early premiere of “The Upside” opens at the box office.

Why now? Why was this the moment these tweets came to light? Kevin Hart has had so many big public events over the last decade but he’s also had people bring up the old tweets so what was different this time?

Kevin Hart’s concern about his movie opening.

Prior to the controversy, The Upside had a dismal low 30’s rating across multiple platforms. It went up slightly after the controversy but not much. With a Rotten Tomatoes score of 40%, a Metacritic score of 46% and an IMDb score of 6.3/10 critics weren't loving it before the controversy and only liked it slightly better after. This was one of the worst reviewed movies in Kevin Hart’s career but it wasn’t only the reviews this movie had to contend with. Along with bad reviews, guess what else go buried in the rubble of controversy? This is one of the last movies Harvey Weinstein produced before being ousted. That doesn’t look or sound good to most, so how to do you stop people from looking at critical reviews and make them forget that an alleged mad man produced your film? You shine a light on something that was always there. Always being brought up but mostly kept quiet. That is, until Kevin Hart wanted it to be an issue.

A closer look into Hart’s past will show you that this was written years ago. On his show, The Real Husbands of Hollywood there’s an episode called “The Bump Stops Here” where Kevin is announced as and then loses the Oscar hosting gig in a 24 hour period because of a PR stunt gone wrong. What are the chances?

Were the people digging up Hart’s old tweets plants? Doubtful, those tweets have been talked about for years and many of them were still there to be found. Was the Oscar hosting gig some big set up? That’s also unlikely. However, a bomb at the box office could do a lot more damage to his career than losing a hosting job. It was likely a reasonable sacrifice. If you doubt anyone would go to such lengths, keep in mind, we’re talking about a lot of money. He never really apologized. He knew he lied about a previous apology and knew people would look and never find one. Adding to the controversy. When things started to die down after the first week, he waiting until the movie was going to premier to come back out and say he wasn’t going to talk about it. Nothing about this situation makes sense until you realize that there wasn’t a single mention of Harvey Weinstein and very little mention of negative reviews.

No matter what happened with The Upside, Kevin Hart had an out. If the movie did well, it would be in spite of the backlash and if the movie bombed, he could blame Black gay people. It’s always okay to blame your failures on Black people and it’s always okay to use Black people as your scapegoats. Since this was Black gay people, Hart had no qualms about using their backs for his self-hyped controversy.

Kevin Hart isn’t the first to use this type of controversy when the general belief is that the movie will bomb but it looks like he may have opened the floodgates for other actors and studios to use this template.

On January 22, 2019 Taraji P Henson posted a cryptic message on her IG story that appeared to defend accused pedophile R Kelly. Within 24 hours, she posted a clarification on Twitter saying she believed R Kelly should be muted. Less than a week prior on January 19th (posted on January 20) Erykah Badu made a public statement during a performance that also seemed to support R Kelly.

Henson and Badu have a movie coming out on February 8th with an early premiere tonight, February 7th. The film currently sits at 50% on Rotten Tomatoes, 56% on Metacritic and has not-so-great reviews from sites like AV Club with lines like “Dumbs down an already dumb Mel Gibson hit.”  R Kelly has infamously been accused of targeting Black children and young Black girls. To come out in support of him is to stand against Black girls. This is a society that accepts, encourages and forgives that.

If the movie bombs, it will be the fault of Black women. If the movie does well, it will be in spite of Black women.

Liam Neeson, another person involved in a self made controversy also has a movie coming out on February 8th with an early premier of February 7th. The misconception was that Neeson was asked about a time when he wanted to seek revenge but no, this story was unprovoked. It wouldn’t have made sense as a revenge story anyway since he didn’t seek the person who hurt someone he loved, but instead anyone who shared a skin tone. He was purposeful in describing of a hate crime. It made no sense to tell this story. If he felt there was a connection to his character, he could have told the same story while leaving out the racist element. Why not leave out asking about the person’s race? Why not leave out “Black bastard?” Why not tell the same story, looking for anyone who fit the description but not mentioning race? He did it on purpose. It was a plan.

Cold Pursuit isn’t doing as badly as the other movies on sites like Rotten Tomatoes where it currently sits at an 82% but it’s still lacking on most other sites like Metacritic where it sits at 60% and IMDb with a 6.9/10. As much as people make fun of Neeson’s movies being similar, he keeps making them because they do well at the box office and this one will likely do well too. Nonetheless, before the box office opens, this movie is shaping up to be the biggest flop of any of his movies. Only time will tell and with the support of racists who say they’re just like him and actively attempting to commit a hate crime is no big deal, it’s a good guess that while this may not be his biggest, it will probably do just fine. But if it doesn’t, you can blame Black people.

Problematic and Proud: Instagram Artist Beebosloth

Alright, I tried posting this to Reddit but that whole website is fucked so. Tumblr is crazy toxic and I want absolutely nothing to do with this website lmao, I just know if it’s posted here, it will show up in google search results. 

Alright, so there's this artist on Instagram. Nothing new and unique there. In fact, there isn't really anything special about this particular prick at all. Rather, he more-so represents a larger cancerous growth within Instagram; entitlement, and toxicity.

I know, I know, "Hey dumbass, that's the entirety of the internet." Yeah, you're damn right it is. Does that make it any less gross? Any less pathetic? These humans are still humans, they know what they're doing.

So what exactly is Beebosloth? Unless you've come here from googling the name followed by some key-word synonyms of "problematic," you're probably unfamiliar with his presence on earth. @Beebosloth (Stan Osipov) is a pretty general artist on Instagram, pumping out at least one sketch a day; his works are namely skeletal, usually black and white, usually accompanied with an odd little strip of slogan text which rarely fits the image subject. People have gotten his works tattooed, he's almost up to 300k followers now, etc etc, he's doing alright for himself.

If there's one thing that millennials and gen-Z kids' insane internet vigilante rampages have taught us, it's that successful people can be, and often are, problematic as all hell. Beebosloth is no exception.

I had been following the artist for close to 3 years, giving him general support through likes on his posts, but also going an extra mile in standing up for him for 2 problems he had been facing repeatedly as an artist. First, due to the general popular aesthetic of his art, his works were getting reposted a lot, often without credit. There would even be imitation accounts which would post nothing but his art, essentially pretending to be him. I repeatedly took it upon myself to give them the ol' trollish finger wag, in an unlikely hope they'd better their behavior or at least let passersby know who the real artist was.

Another problem he was facing was Instagram support; (Ooh what a surprise, when has that ever happened to anyone)? The way he went on about it had us all believing that Instagram would never punish those who committed these unethical acts. And that was the entirety of the problem at first; not punishing other people who had done him wrong. He made several posts and stories complaining about this, usually enticing his followers to go out and do his bidding in this regard. Then . . there was an incident, and the first instance that really alerted me to Beebosloth's behavior.

This is a man who spends half his posts whining because he refuses to learn how internet-related copyright laws work. Even though with the sheer amount of trials and failures he's experienced, he should be an expert on them by now. A dude who claims every 5 seconds that he's getting his work stolen . . . which is why this next part is such a kicker.

I wish I could remember the time exactly, (but unfortunately I'm not pursuing a degree in problematic Instagram artists, and these details have just really just slipped my mind). It was March; I believe of this year. I scrolled through Instagram like normal, came upon a new post by beebosloth, and noticed that this one had about twice the typical amount of attention attached to it. Osipov had posted a doodle of a skeleton arm, holding up a ticket which read "1 WAY TICKET TO HELL." Pretty simple, pretty basic. And the next picture on the slide was the exact same thing, only this time, it wasn't in his style. I believe he also included screenshots of an incredibly petty argument between him and the other artist, in which she accused him of stealing the design from her. - In the caption he's ranting, he's raving, Instagram copyrighted his version and removed it. He does something else too . . . .

Now, these images are the exact damn same, I wish I could find her original work but it has really just disappeared. After what Stan Osipov does next, it wouldn't really surprise me if she deleted her Instagram to cut out the toxicity of this whole situation. And here's the most important part to consider of all of this; not beeblosloth's cruel, immature, reaction, not his history of sending his followers to spend their own personal time being terrible to other users on his behalf, this-

The artist who claimed Osipov had stolen her work- posted it first. Actually I believe she posted it a few weeks before beeblosloth ever did. And keep in mind- the only feasible difference between these two photos is the art style. They are exact same in every possible detail. Now, unfortunately, at the time I was a member of beebosloth's cult following. I really made up any possible excuse to believe that somehow, regardless of how impossible and ridiculous it would be, this girl was lying about beebosloth just ripping her off majorly. Even though- she kept the matter private, between themselves. Beebosloth was the one who posted their screenshots, made this a "let's get everyone involved and invoke the wrath of my followers" thing.

In the caption, (or maybe in a new post), Beebosloth then goes on to beckon everyone to draw this image, he starts a #drawthisinyourstyle challenge. He also, of course, incites his followers to go send hate the the original artist. I will admit I stupidly wanted to believe beebosloth was the original artist, and maybe there was some justification to him posting the screenshots, but that part, I didn't like. That was totally unnecessary, even if he was somehow telling the truth.Can we just step back and assess how insane this situation is?

He reposts his imitation image, as well as the original one, the original artist's details, the screenshots from their private conversation; he tells his followers to go send hate to the original artist because she hurt his feelings by calling him out.

He starts a competition encouraging everyone to rip off her image in their own style. In turn getting dozens of results, making a considerable chunk of the Instagram art scene focus all negative attention on the original artist. "Well if I can't have it, I guess everyone can." (It's almost impossible to find left over images of the challenge, but I remember there being dozens upon dozens of submissions. I will post one I managed to find, as well as the original rip-off by beebosloth.)

And me and his other followers were totally blind to this insane, ridiculous, behavior. I find that all of my red flags that make me dislike people and their actions boil down to a very simple act: Being shitty to another human when they're not doing anything harmful. That's exactly what Osipov was doing here, and I just kind of let him convince me she was the perpetrator.

I kept following him after this for months, sending likes to those stolen general commercial T-shirt slogans slapped on a sketch of skeletons doing basic little things. And then one day a few weeks ago, an image crawled across my feed whose incredibly vague message just didn't sit right with me. The image, as you should be able to see here (if I've successfully posted it), contains a scene of someone trying to post something on instagram, and there is an error message which reads "Oops, nobody gives a shit about you or your selfies. Post anyways?"

First reaction: YIKES, who has Stanny got a vendetta against today? The username of the poster was "dumb bitch" to boot. I honestly couldn't tell if he was attempting to shame someone specific, people who just enjoy posting their selfies, women on Instagram, the message was so unclear and the caption wasn't a help to say the least. Actually the caption was . . . The only possible relation the caption could have had to the art itself, was . . . no actually I really can't find a damn thing to relate the two. It had the same weird aggressive energy as the image, but it was essentially an uncomfortable and unwanted pep-talk? No . . . what in the fresh hell would you call that caption?

Anyways, I just assumed the caption didn't really have a direct relation to the art image, as that was something he'd done before and is pretty typical on Instagram. But I still had a problem with the message of the image itself; essentially teaching people to feel bad about posting their selfies, and holding some sense of superiority to those who dare share an image of their face every so often. How incredibly boring, and my reaction posted in the images explains why this personally pissed me off. And if there I talk like someone complaining in an Instagram comment section, well . . . I wonder why.

His reaction - Oh man his reaction, you could not have killed someone's loyalty to you faster if you used their pet in your omelet. I mentioned how I was confused at the caption in the end of what I was saying, and I guess that's the part that offended him?! I haven't a clue how, but he starts in: "The fact that you don't understand leads me to believe that you are still very lost."

. . . . WHAT?! bahahaha! Where the hell did that come from?! My mouth fell agape. First of all, I didn't understand his caption for the shear fact that it was vague and unrelated to the image. Secondly, beebolsoth, where in the shit did I say anything about being lost and remind me when I paid you to be my psychiatrist.  He goes on in this ridiculous narcissistic tone, making totally wild claims as if he's known me my whole life and can speak to my personal character, and my mental state. What a creep. Is he playing The Rewired Soul here? I didn't know, I didn't particularly care. The mild entertainment I received from viewing his images wasn't worth being talked to like I've just told freaking Sigmund Freud I don't like the taste of lima beans. After receiving some darling, and for some reason, racist hate from his cult followers, I unfollowed him.

But really, isn't that just one of the cringiest feelings out there? Realizing you've been doing back-flips for someone who would treat you like absolute dirt just for the fun of it? Well, now this experience is documented. Hopefully the true original artist of the "One way ticket to hell" piece is doing alright. And the next time Osipov does something weird and horrible, people can come here, and know it definitely wasn't the first time.

To apologize, staring today, I will post a new story every day for the next 5-7 days.To the requester I hope this is what you were looking for. It was extremely difficult for a woman to advance far in education, especially during the 1700′s. Most narrow-minded men believed a woman should only need to know how to write her name and read her religious book. Other than that, men only expected a woman to know how to cook, clean, and take of children.

Luckily, you had grown up in a household with your mother who was a strong, independent woman, and you father who supported women in their fight for education equality. They both disagreed with society’s expectations of a women and began educating you from a young age.

Unlike many girls of your time, you had the opportunity to study literature, writing, arithmetic, science, and even a bit of politics. This combined with your upbringing, turned you into a woman who was unafraid to stand up against egotistical men who believed women were beneath them. Many a times, you had almost gone head to head with somebody over a comment on your knowledge.

However, while you were extremely proud of your intelligence, it made it hard to hold friendships and even harder to find a man who wanted to court you. Most times when you would start a relationship, you were told by the men to stop reading because it wasn’t right for a woman. If they ever did say this, you would slap them, remind them that woman were just as, if not more, capable as men, and would leave.

For this reason, you tried to avoid balls and other social situations as much as possible. They were often an uncomfortable event where you found yourself off to the side, alone, while you watched your best friend Angelica Schuyler dance the night away.

Angelica was similar to you, really. She was intelligent, witty, outspoken, and very stubborn. So stubborn that she was able to convince you to join her at the Winter’s Ball that was being hosted at the end of the week. Although you tried to get out of it, she begged and pleaded with you until you couldn’t say no.

The night of, she let you borrow one of her dresses and helped you to curl your hair to perfection. As you stood in front of the mirror, gazing at your reflection, you had to admit that you looked beautiful. With all the work you did, it was uncommon for you to dress up, so it was a nice change.

Walking side by side, Angelica made you promise her something.

“Promise me you will find at least one man to dance with tonight.” she pleaded.

“Angelica, you know it’s unlikely I will find anyone to dance with tonight.” you sighed, fiddling with your dress.

Eventually, you ended up promising her that you would dance at least once tonight. Not long after you both entered the ball, Angelica was swept away by a solider who had been tripping over himself just to impress her.

You smiled from the side as you watched Angelica go from one man to the next, dancing the night away. The familiar feeling of awkwardness feel over you as you stood alone. Looking around the room, you sighed once you realized nearly every man was dancing with a woman already.

In all honest, you were about to leave when someone began to head your way. As the mysterious man drew closer, you groaned internally when you recognized him as Charles Lee. While you had never met the man, you had heard from multiple people that he was highly annoying.

Now standing directly in front of you, Lee gave a small bow, and you curtsied back only because it was polite. He held out an arm for you and had to restrain yourself from rolling your eyes.

“Would you allow me the honor of accompanying you for a dance?” he asked you.

Silently, you nodded and let him lead you to the dance floor. He rested his one arm on your waist and took hold of the other hand, while your free hand rested on his shoulder. Then the dance began and you prayed for it to be over. Eventually, he tried to make small conversation.

“Tell me something about yourself, Miss. (y/ln).” he commanded gently with a smile.

You thought for a moment before you spoke. “Well, right now I am trying to raise enough money to become a certified teacher and then open up a school for girls, I-” you stated explaining passionately before you were interrupted.

“Ha!” Lee laughed after you. “I would quit your dreams now. Women have no reason to get an education, and it makes even less sense for them to be teaching.” he jeered.

Instantly, you stopped dancing and stared incredulously at the man in front of you. “How dare you?” you accused. “Do you not realize that education is wasted on egotistical men who are too blind and stuck up to appreciate what they have. Woman are just as capable, even more, as men and we do deserve to get out education.” you shouted.

“Do not attempt to contact me the rest of the night.” you warned and slapped Lee before storming away back to the corner you stood in originally.

Witnessing the whole event, Angelica rushed to your side. She tried to convince you to stay and reassure you that everything was alright. Both of you were obvious to the handsome man standing in front of you until he cleared his throat.

“Umm, hello Miss. Schuyler and Miss. (y/l/n). My name is Alexander Hamilton.” he introduced. “I saw what happened between you and Lee, but I just want to say that what you did to him was amazing. I’ve wished to do that for so long now.” he went on, smiling at you.

“Would you care to join me for a dance? And I promise if I upset you, I won’t be mad when you slap me.” he joked, holding out his arm hopefully.

For the first time that night, you smiled a genuine smile and accepted Alexander’s arm. You both danced the night away as the orchestra played song after song. When you explained your plans to open a school for young girls, he smiled and offered his help if you ever needed it.

When the night was over you were sad to leave, but Alexander’s asked if he could write you. Of course you accepted.

Only weeks later, you and Alexander were joined as husband and wife in a church in front of only your closest friends and family. You enjoyed a short honeymoon, but it was short lived. Alexander had to return to the war, and you prayed for his safety.

Meanwhile, you focused on your education, studying nonstop. You studied and studied for your exams until you couldn’t take it anymore. Only a few days after taking the exam, you were informed that you passed! You did not hesitate to send a letter to Alexander as soon as you found out.

Once the war had ended you and Alexander worked continuously. He to get start the new nation and you to raise enough money to buy the building where you planned to teach.

It was a difficult journey. Most days you would stand in the center of town explain to the people of Manhattan that young girls were the future and they needed to be educated. Lots of woman agreed with you and donated whatever they could afford, to which you were eternally grateful.

On the other side, most men disagreed with your values and ignored your speeches as much as the could. Some took it a step further. It started one day when you had a larger crowd than normal, and most of those people planned to donate.

As you were finishing your speech you heard a male laugh of disbelief. He wasn’t afraid to voice his opinions. “I cannot believe that people are donating to your pathetic cause. You are just a dumb whore conning people out of their money for a dream that will never happen.” he insulted, as he pushed his way to the front.

Your husband stood next to you, ready to attack the man. However, you beat him to it because you were also unafraid to speak your mind. “I am so sorry that you are that narrow minded that you can’t see how much you have helped my cause.” you thanked, then addressed the rest of the crowd. “This is an example of a man who has been educated, but what has he done with it? Nothing, and now he has the audacity to insult me. We need to take a stand against people like this.” you declared.

That afternoon you walked home with more money than ever before.

As the weeks went on got closer and closer to your goal. Then, in late May, you raised enough money to buy the building that would become your school house. With Alexander by your side, you signed the proper papers and became the official owner.

The next few months were dedicated to making sure the building was in perfect condition. You enlisted the help of Alexander and some of his friends, to help with the construction part of it. While they did that, you enrolled students and figured out lesson plans. Finally, on the first of September, it was time to open.

You stood in front of the crowd of eager young girls and proud parents, nervously playing with your dress. Alexander stood beside you and whispered in your ear that everything would be alright and that he was so proud of you. You took a deep breath and started your welcoming speech.

“First of all thank you to everyone for joining be here today. Today is a day that will always be remembered. I also want to thank my wonderful husband, Alexander Hamilton. For the past two years, he has stuck by my side, accepted who I am, and helped me to accomplish my dreams.

From an early age, my parents showed me how important a good education was. I was lucky to have parents whom believed that woman were allowed to get an education; they taught me everything I know. As I grew older, I saw that not everybody had the same views of my parents, and I learned that education was wasted on those to stuck up to appreciate it. That was when I knew I needed to change that.

I learned as much as could and began my work. It was a struggle to get here when many thought, and wished, that I would fail. But it was when the world was against me that I was my strongest. I am proud to stand here before all of you today and officially say that school is now in session!” you finished, a few tears of joy slipping down your face.

Once the applause died down, you ran into Alexander’s arms. He spun you around and peppered your face with kisses, whispering his praise to you. You took a glance around you and saw how happy students, and parents, were to absorb as much information they could. Deep down you knew this was just the beginning and you couldn’t wait to change education even more.

It’s also a reminder, in Ayalla’s words, “Onision psychologically and emotionally abused young women repeatedly. Just in case you forgot”. I’d like to add onto that saying that there are multiple testimonies circulating the internet and this is an issue that, while it has died down, should not be forgotten.

I discourage anyone from going out of their way to bully anyone in my video (but there’s a difference between being a bully and criticizing another person) All right, let’s get started.

If you’re unfamiliar with Onision, I have several videos you can view to catch up that have more backstory. On January 23rd, 2019, Onision released a video on his OnisionSpeaks channel titled “I need to be a better dad and husband” where it sat at about 4k views, and it now sits on almost 20k. Here’s the problem with that. He made the video with a title knowing it would trigger a response but only dedicated the last few minutes to actually talking about how a comment about him being an unattentive father hurt his feelings.

[Onision Clip: Somebody made a comment that really hurt my feelings. “Onision spending all day making videos” which I’ve been doing for a very long time, “So he can get paid $10 a video instead of spending time with his family.” That’s what they said. And that still hurts my feelings even now.]

Voiceover: The rest of the time he talks about how he’s never going to talk about Eugenia again because he doesn’t want to be a bottom feeder, going into detail about how using youtubers’ names in the title is what gets clicks and money.

Voiceover: This isn’t the first time Onision has failed to follow through on his word, especially regarding Eugenia Cooney despite being asked not to talk about her.

Let me pause for a moment. I am so proud of her for getting help, it’s a very hard thing to do and I have the utmost confidence in her recovery. Recovery is a hot mess.

Back to the topic on hand, he’s also done the same thing with Jaclyn Glenn and Shane Dawson. Onision kinda reminds me of Jax Taylor from Vanderpump Rules, serial cheater, liar, manipulator, narcissist.

Voiceover: In his video titled “I need to be a better dad and husband”, he attempts to manipulate the viewer with phrases like, [Onision clip: “And when I say this, you know it’s true because her name’s not in the title.”] Except it wasn’t true then and it still isn’t now.

[Onision clip: While the Eugenia Cooney videos are about educating others on eating disorders and being healthy, and so forth. They were very educational videos.]

Voiceover: How educational was that cooking show?

When being accused of continuing to make money off of Eugenia, he took to twitter to debunk it but instead lied. I took a screenshot of his tweet and responded on my own account. His tweet reads, “As usual, the rumors are not true. I am not making videos on Eugenia Cooney for money. This is an important topic that needs to be discussed. I have a patreon to help me when my videos do not get monetized. I truly do care about her. As usual, I come with proof.” And he provided a screenshot of his videos on Eugenia Cooney, all of which have been flagged with the yellow icon, but apparently Onision thinks his followers are dumb as a bag of rocks. My response reads, “Let’s get one thing straight. The yellow icon simply means there are limited ads, ergo you’re still making money. And requesting for manual review means you’re trying to get coin. This is easily debunked and really terrible manipulation.”

In another video, he leaks DMs between himself and Jaclyn Glenn, in which he fails to mask his aggression and anger. Does anyone else notice that if Onision doesn’t get attention from someone or can’t use them in his videos, he bashes them relentlessly and makes videos about them anyway.

[Onision clip: Because it doesn’t f-ing matter who’s responsible. You guys are so f-ing stupid… Anyway, and I just wanna express the ‘you guys are so f-ing stupid’. That is an act, it’s a performance. That is me trying to express myself in a way that will impact you. It is not some kind of loss of temper.]

Voiceover: Let’s back up a second. When Eugenia first posted on twitter that she was working with her doctor directly, everyone jumped for joy, but Onision being Onision took advantage of the situation. On January 23rd he said he would stop making videos on her.

Two and a half weeks later, February 10th he posted a video with her name in the title, like the rest of us bottom feeders, titled “You Guys Saved Eugenia”. Let’s not sugar coat this, Eugenia saved herself probably with the help of Jaclyn Glenn and other close friends.

[Onision clip fake crying: Um, thank you guys so much for helping Eugenia Cooney and I am so glad that this might not actually be… the end of her. Thank you so much, bye.]

Voiceover: Oh god, it’s like watching Ashton Kutcher cry on The Ranch, just god awful acting. Another manipulation tactic, superficial sympathy, also known as crocodile tears.

Not only does his acting reek of disingenuous bs, but he brags about all the things he’s done to help Eugenia

[Onision clip: I did so many things. If you guys go through all the videos I made: I contacted the authorities, asking them what I could do. I asked you guys if you knew a family member you could reach out to, get the family members to help. Um, I tried so many things. Tons of research, tons of campaigns and so forth. You don’t wanna see people suffer, you don’t wanna see people struggle like Eugenia was.]

Voiceover: He talks about how he didn’t want to see anyone struggle, however when Jaclyn Glenn first came forward with her video on Social Repose cheating on her, he made a video basically saying I told you so

[Onision clip: I deserve an apology for all of the lies that Jaclyn told about me… or about herself, her relationship. Making me seem like the fraud when I knew I was right.]

Voiceover: And I really wonder how pleased he was when he heard about it. Maybe he’s salty about the fact that she has since found a healthy relationship, with someone who isn’t him.

Onision is incapable of committing to his word, which at this point is as reliable as a plastic spork when you’re eating a steak. No wait, he’s a vegetarian… uh, I don’t know, an eggplant? He further exploits Eugenia for his own personal gain in order to drive traffic to his pathetic forums, which omg have over 600 members, congratulations on a major feat, Greg.

Let’s continue, in his video titled “Eugenia Was Saved by a Youtuber? It wasn’t me”. No one was wondering if it was. He spends the first 6 minutes of it complaining about people calling him a narcissist.

[Onision clip: People were saying it was crocodile tears. They say, uh, narcissist, sociopath, uh, egomaniac, etc. This is all to dehumanize me.]

Voiceover: I mean, change your behavior, and commentary channels might change their opinions.

[Onision clip: This is how you know I’m honest, because I tell you things that no reasonable person would admit.]

Voiceover: Proceeded by things that don’t remotely define honesty. And remember from Greg’s own mouth, it’s easy to fake. I’ve heard a couple people comment that Greg has once said he can make himself cry, on command, so that’s worth noting.

The thing about Greg is when he’s on a mission, he’ll go to any means necessary to achieve his goal, even if that means disrespecting other people, leaking private messages, shaming others, pretty much anything.

This video is essentially him retelling the story of Jaclyn Glenn and Social Repose, pointing all of these mental flaws in others and possible happenings which he thinks are immoral but are perfectly legal, if they happened. In the DMs you see that Onision did not get the answers he wanted from Jaclyn so he built this video projecting all of the blame on literally everyone else.

[Onision clip: I got DMs and I dm-ed Jaclyn Glenn. Uh, of her asking me to shut the f-ck up.

Voiceover: Yeah her asking you to not tweet at her about Eugenia is the same thing as telling him to shut up. When he asked what she put in motion, she answers, “There’s a lot happening and to be totally honest I don’t trust that our convo won’t end up online”. That’s a pretty good judge of character right there.

[Onision clip: I’m a performer. I’m an entertainer.]

Voiceover: You’re a mess, Greg. A mess.

[Onision clip: It’s just a performance. It’s just a creation that I felt you would be entertained by.]

Voiceover: How do we know whether or not him caring so much about Eugenia, making all of these videos about her isn’t purely for entertainment and money.

The rest of that video is essentially Greg contradicting himself and verbally assaulting his camera.

Let me save everyone the pain of having to watch any of his further Eugenia videos, and any of his videos in general.

The ones on Eugenia are clickbait and they’re all made a certain length probably because of the algorithm, which tends to promote longer videos. But rest assured, he doesn’t have any insider information. Or any information on her that isn’t readily available and accessible through a simple, little google search.

In short, well, not really at this point, but in a certain length of time, I personally believe that Onision is incapable of change.

John and I started dating in June of 2012. We met through a dating website (POF) and he looked like the perfect guy. We texted all day and talked on the phone for hours every night. I found he had a snapchat from some girl, so I viewed it, and it was a photo of her VAGINA. Not full blown, however, it was a straight shot of her pants unzipped with panties on. I knew that was probably bullshit but when we hung out with this friend one evening, I asked him when john had gone into the restroom and he confirmed it, so I let it go. (turns out that he was covering for him) oh and also the best part was that after I finally found out this, I found out that this particular woman lived in the same neighborhood as us, just a street over!! Well he quit that job soon after because he said he didnt like it there and got yet another part time job working in video. So john went on his buddy and actually stood me up and I told him I want nothing to do with him at all and that he is not permitted over at our home or to visit our kid. He complied and his buddys title wasnt brought up again and they never hung out (even though they'd made up with eachother and still texted occasionally). Well in february, this exact same friend of his has been caught red handed cheating on his girlfriend (my now best friend) with some girl for the previous 2 months. Well things happened between those who I say, but now instead of being a police officer, hes sitting for the next 8 years and can have no contact with either of his daughters or his ex girlfriend (my buddy ). Well the night this all occurred, I wake up into a text message saying we had been perfect. They were cheating with (so and so). So I wake john up and tell him what she said and he said that she had been making s*** up to try to break us up since her connection was about to ***. And since I had no evidence, I let it all go. Well I had posted a standing about cheaters and a week later I get an anonymous letter in the mail at my WORK, addressed to me personally, stating (in badly disguised sloppy handwriting) they saw my status and know for a fact that john had cheated on me with atleast 3 different women, and gave titles. And that they thought I must know (and one of the girls names was Olivia, from earlier in my story). This time I didnt mechanically show him my evidence and accuse him. I played it cool and wished to collect everything. So I figured out the password for his verizon accounts and looked in his telephone records and saw a number continuously popping up on there. It’s Not An Event When Fictional Characters Die

In 1992, DC Comics killed Superman — an invincible ventriloquist with laser eyes, frost breath, and chronosphere-bending flight speed — with a rock monster who was pretty good at punching. Despite it being the third time he had died, the country went into mourning and the story was picked up by the actual news. Which was weird, because if the media wanted to cover upsetting Superman stories, where were they when his girlfriend got turned into a pony and fucked his horse?

I think about this every day. Every day.

Why are we so obsessed with fictional deaths? Most of the time, they’re not even real in the make-believe universe in which they happen. Captain America and Batman die around 20 times a year, each in different combinations of fake-outs, resurrections, and universe reboots. If a dead guy’s best friends own a time machine and the Eye of Agamotto, you can probably hold off on making funeral plans. And if your favorite character dies on The Walking Dead, maybe don’t waste an hour watching Chris Hardwick cry until you see the body.

It should help you relax knowing that most fictional deaths are only abusive pranks, but the “real” ones are about as meaningless.

I mean, you knew there wasn’t going to be any more Firefly. This death cost us maybe two wisecracks.

Remember when Han Solo died? He was a 73-year-old laser gun fighter scheduled to get his own movie in three years. His death was both long overdue and completely inconsequential to the amount of Han Solo you will continue to see on your TV. His father-in-law, Darth Vader, was on screen for about 36 minutes before he died in 1983, and since his death, there have been more Anakin Skywalker stories than anyone could ever want. Anakin Skywalker is the Nicolas Cage of outer space. He stopped making good movies three decades ago, yet he’s still everywhere and radiating inexplicable cosmic energy.

If George R. R. Martin went on TV to announce that a meteor hit Westeros between books and everyone in A Song Of Ice And Fire is gone, how is that different from the world you’re living in now? The guy has clearly wanted to focus more on snacks for about four books. You know what’s sadder than seeing Ned Stark get his head chopped off? Watching some fragile-hearted slob go through the stages of grief in a YouTube video afterwards. Parents, if your child is filming themselves weep over a make-believe death, that’s a bigger failure than if your child is filming themselves pee into a tube sock for Patreon supporters. I mean, you can do whatever you want, but when you cry over fake people whom you can still see every day for as long as you want, you’re only sending a message to the people around you that you’re a dramatic piece of shit. Coke had its first sales increase in more than a decade when it introduced the idea of adding the customers’ stupid fucking names to their cans and bottles. We are so desperate to be told we’re special that we will suspend all disbelief and critical thinking to hear it. You should know that answering a few simple personality questions does not make you the coolest ninja turtle, and you shouldn’t trust the scores of an IQ test that you watched yourself cheat on which also advertises free Slavic women and four new pounds of dick girth.

One of my favorite examples of this, and favorite things in general, is an online community called Intertel — “An International Society of the Intellectually Gifted.” It’s very difficult to get in. You can only join if you score in the top 1 percent of any self-administered intelligence test and mail in a $10 application fee. You may have considered that this in fact checks to see whether you’re stupid enough to mail in a test with a 98 percent score or less and nothing else. If you get accepted, you then pay a $39 annual fee to be a part of a genius club for people who are very specifically not. What do you get? I’m so glad you asked. For the annual fee, you get unlimited pity and the right to post a photo and bio about your unusually gullible self. It has created an avalanche of unearned ego that looks like a late ’90s Casper Van Dien fan page whose webmaster went mysteriously missing.

Another business that exploits your love of yourself on a massive, sprawling scale is the pop-up museum industry. The name implies that there are things to do or learn inside them, but they’re more like oversized photo booths than art galleries. For instance, if you take a trip to the zany, world-famous Museum of Ice Cream, you will learn zero to one things about ice cream and eat ice cream worth $45 less than the entry ticket. What you will do is wait in line to take photos of yourself next to what you’d describe in any other context as “nothing of interest.” So to be clear, we are so self-obsessed that it’s now an effective business model to charge us money to take pictures of ourselves so we can promote you online.

You didn’t fool ME, Museum of Ice Cream. But my family loved it. Five stars.

Stop Making It Seem Like There Are Nazis

OK, so the world has enough idiot racists to elect Donald Trump president, but not all of those voters were full white supremacists. Some of them were simply too religious to know when someone is lying or too old to change their mind about politics. And yes, a troubling number of them were Nazis. But in a lot of ways, most things are fine and the world isn’t as awful as you think.

Impossibly shitty people, like the Trump supporters who took that Garfield mug personally, seem like they’re everywhere. A lot of that is our fault — the decent people making fun of them. They use us to amplify their voices, like Han Solo (R.I.P.) convincing a hallway of Stormtroopers that he’s way more people than he actually is. Every few minutes, a website publishes a variation on the article “These Miserable Fucks Said Something Racist About A Thing And Got Annihilated By Twitter.” They’re fun and vaguely heroic, but if you read more than one, you’ll start to see that they all share the same content. It’s the same three or four racist tweets quoted in every article, tweeted by the same three or four racists who “attacked” the Star Wars with the Asian girl and “staged boycotts” of the all-lady Ghostbusters. We need to stop treating these three or four people like they’re a threat to anything other than skewing PornHub’s algorithm to favor mother-son incest.

I know it’s tough to resist trolls, but Kim Kardashian owning all the world’s money should have taught you that there is virtue in shutting the fuck up about some things. We need to stay strong not in the battle against the “alt-right,” but in the battle to ignore them. The next time you see another column about how women won’t date conservative men, leave it alone. Let those dickless Nazis keep writing versions of that article into the empty void until they learn evil causes women to dry up. It’s probably way too late for this to get any attention but I am a male victim of sexual abuse.

I was first sexually abused when I was four years old. It was swept under the rug because the 25-year-old that did it to me was going through some things and didn’t know any better.

Fast-forward to when I’m 9 and I was sexually abused every Friday for over a year and a half. I was told by my abuser that if I let anyone know, it would be my fault and I would get in trouble. One day I finally told, just wanting it to end even if I got in trouble. What happened? Both me (9) and my female abuser (23) were given a stern talking to. That was it. She went on to live her life. I never saw her again.

Every Friday I was locked in a room and bound. I would be left in the dark while I would have her perform oral (attempted since I was 9 and unable of getting an erection). She would pump me full of fluids and when I had to go to the bathroom she’d have me pee on her. At times she would pee into a cup and try to force me to drink it. If I was being more cooperative than usual she would untie my hands and have me touch her. At the end of every, I dunno what to call itsession?she would tell me that if I told anyone I would be taken from my parents. Even if they didn’t take me from my parents her dad who was a bad man would kill my mom and my sisters.

That is until I was 15 and made a Facebook. She found me on there and would leave comments like look who grew up sexy and stuff like that. I reached out to the adults in my life and they told me to ignore it, which I did. But they told me I was a guy and I could handle it. It’s not something that keeps me awake at night. But in order to get over it I had to harden myself because I’m a guy and guys can’t get raped.

On a previous reddit account I went to open up on a victims of sexual abuse page. I wrote out a multi-page post just getting it out there. The only replies I got were about how I was a guy and I didn’t know what it was like to be violated as a woman. I was harassed for weeks by women on there for trying to compare my experience to theirs.

I think of myself as a woman beater, as a misogynist now just knowing that I’m capable of it.

Just the idea that I can hit a woman has driven me to some of my darkest depths and even now typing it I dont feel justified in my actions despite the fact I was protecting my own life.

One night she came at me with a tazer from behind she started it early and I had enough time to move, she tripped and stunned herself, screaming in pain, bruised her forehead hitting it against the floor. Neighbors heard and called the cops and she gave a false statement. Of course looking the way I do it didn’t matter what I said, I spent a night in holding before she dropped the charges and got me out. I guess I’m just thankful she “loved” me enough not to let me get charged with that shit.

It’s made me scared about new relationships because I’m afraid someone can just tell a cop whatever they want and I’ll get fucked.

Domestic Violence. I just got out of an abusive relationship two weeks ago and I’m shocked at how hard it was for me to talk about it and get taken seriously with my peers. Fast-forward to when I’m 9 and I was sexually abused every Friday for over a year and a half. I was told by my abuser that if I let anyone know, it would be my fault and I would get in trouble. One day I finally told, just wanting it to end even if I got in trouble. What happened? Both me (9) and my female abuser (23) were given a stern talking to. That was it. She went on to live her life. I never saw her again.
