Just sent my little brother a youtube video depicting the new Until Dawn ending and now we are theorising like crazy and this is genuinely the most conversation we have had with each other in over a year.
When the original game came out, I was 12 and he was 8, and he's turning 18 next month and I haven't lived with him in over three years, and we've only spoken a handful of times since our dad died, but I so much as mention Until Dawn and now we're yapping away endlessly and this is SO IMPORTANT TO ME.

#star wars#I have enough chaotic thoughts that I could let this take over my blog for a short time but I probably won’t lol#it’s just that I spent the prequels going ‘ok but this is Bad’ a lot of the time#but then I followed them with the og trilogy (which I’d at least 60% seen before) and suddenly that new background information MADE SENSE#like. Darth Vader. he really IS protective of Luke from the get go. like. hello Anakin.#so like. parts of it are still a bit of a dumpster fire.#BUT I SEE THE FRAMEWORK NOW#brb thinking about Leia carrying her mother’s sadness. that’s a thought. ‘Beautiful and kind and sad’#like. just. oof.#I also actually understand why the prequels are Bad now which is fun and I’m temporarily obsessed with them#may watch TFA at some point because I wanna meet Rey and Finn but I will not complete the sequel trilogy lol#little bro says the sequels Aren’t Star Wars and I preemptively agree but I just wanna steal the good parts to add to my mind#may watch Rogue One at some point too#and then we’ll see if I submit myself to the devastation of the clone wars because I probably shouldn’t but also it would probably fix me#I’m gonna shut up now. It's difficult to describe growing up my entire life thinking my copy of All Dogs Go to Heaven 2 was in fact simply All Dogs Go To Heaven.
The last thing I remember from this property was watching An All Dogs Christmas Carol.
I have located the first movie, which I have never seen.

Overwhelmed by nostalgia actually
#this will sound SO elitist of me#but#i miss my summer course at the boarding school that was closed after the summer and they carved out an artificial lake on the manor grounds#and converted the cozy two-person dorm rooms to have bunk beds to fit six to eight kids#apparently they also 'refurbished' a historic building on the site :(#i mean i'm glad someone is taking care of the site - it's so beautiful#but i miss the way it was soooo much and there's no way to go to that place again except in memories#and then !! sequel - cambridge 2019#granted it would probably be much the same as a town if i went in summer again but it really was when i learned how much i love university#but yeah deeply sad and insane about [redacted] manor i miss it sooooo much#one of my teachers actually really liked me and wanted to seriously talk about me studying there full time oabdlskdödldöfo#obviously it was never going to happen because who pays english boarding fees when you can study 100% for free at home#but what if in an alternate universe i did study there#idk i don't feel that sad about THAT missed chance#mostly because i'm legit replicating it w my master's#but i do wonder if i'm going to spend the rest of my life chasing similar places and the way i felt that summer when i was 15 🥹#if you send me a dm and we're friends etc i will show you pictures of the manor because it looks amazing

Soon, soon I shall have the ability to make my own Forspoken 2! With blackjack and hookers! You know what, forget the blackjack. And the hookers. Just nothing but Forspoken fan-sequel goodness with the best girl and her wrist idiot! Muahahahahahahaha—*cough hack wheeze*
Uh, anyway, procedurally generated rocks! Middle is the default settings for the procedural setups, and the left and right I played with the settings just to see what I can do, and accidentally-on-purpose made Praenost and Avoalet rocks :D
I'm sure there's precise details I'm missing to make them accurate to the game, but I'm still so stoked with the results n_n

#the problem with me and ‘going to bed’#is i have to do my stupid physio stretches and exercises#then brush my teeth was my face etc#then listen to my audiobook and play dumb phone games to ‘wind down’#bc if i skip this step i just lay there anxiously thinking about all things#if I could just…go to bed and go to sleep I’d have at least an extra hour reading time 😂#i do enjoy my audiobook time though#and it’s isles of the gods atm which is so good!!! very keen for the sequel

#ray speaks#the evil dead#just watched the 1st evil dead movie for the 1st time!!!! been meaning to watch these movies forever; happy to have finally started#that movie was so much though oh boy. i was expecting it to be a little more goofy and a little less genuinely horrifying;#i get the sense that the sequels get more silly? at least from what ive heard#the first movie definitely has some good goofyness to it but it's also a whole lot of good Horror#a liiiittle too heavy on the blood n gore for me personally but i was expecting it so it's fine; i can appreciate it for what it is#good movie. definitely one of the horror movies of all time. really felt like a film that knew how to embrace its genre#it's just a really good horror movie!!!!! what more can i say#...i can say that it is past midnight and i should stop rambling and go to bed cuz i gotta be up early tomorrow and im tired anyway.#good night 👍

read a whole book in one day. i feel alive again
#i missed doing this#i read the hunger games again and its crazy cause i didnt keep track of how many pages a chapter had left#i was just fully sucked in until i got to the end#i want to start of the second one but its like 2:30am and i do have to work tomorrow 😞 so i should be responsible#ive beem trying to read game of thrones for a while#and its good but most of the time i feel stressed about the legth and can only read a couple chapters at a time#anyways i forgot so much of what happens in hunger games. im so excited to read the next books lol#thank you to my boyfriend who wanted to start watching the movies yesterday and kick starting my want to read it again#also hes apparently only seen the first movie and the president snow sequel so im excited to watch the rest with him :)#i did not know about this fact and spoiled the fake pregnancy thing though tbf i got that mixed up n thought it happened in the first movie#anyways. enough rambling i need to go to bed 😞

I've read a little under 400 pages in the last 36 hours with very little sleep and I'm feeling woozy. doesn't help that i had a meltdown today after getting too overwhelmed
#i binge read all 310 pages of today's bookclub book in the 12 hours leading up to it#*24 hours. math isn't mathing for me rn#went to bed at 3 a.m and woke up earlier than i wanted to but managed to finish the book#and then bc it was a brand new bookclub with brand new people i was majorly overwhelmed the whole time#and afterwards sat outside the library flapping my hands and doing this weird blinking thing i do and hyperventilating#while i waited for my husband to pick me up#and there was a group of people right next to me witnessing all of it and i kept having to tell myself it was okay#that i was being so obviously disabled in front of them#and then i kept doing all of that in the car and finally calmed down a bit after we got home#but that was super draining#and now im trying to read enough of this fairyloot book to decide if i like it enough to wake up at 4 a.m to get the sequel#when it goes on sale#I've definitely pushed myself too far today#text post
