Sanctuary of The Lamb AU

Heavily inspired by religion/beliefs I grew up with- but then again- what isn’t??

There’s a lot of thinking and designing that went into their clothing. The ones I’m showing are inspired by bishop and priest attire in Catholicism. It all has to do with the heirarchy of the church.

I picked bishop for the first one because it made sense role-wise. A bishop has more power over priests, alter servers, etc. BUT they still serve the pope (which they transition to after the final battle with TOWW).

I picked priest for the second one because crusading is a time when they are in a state of servitude; wether it’s gathering supplies for the cult, offerings for Narinder, etc. They are also spreading word of their faith onto those they save,, so ykkk

Also, their name is Mosaias. Because why not. I joke that they’re one of my happiest lambs, and thats because they’ve reached a point of no return,, and just- don’t care.

The Lamb is malicious in a funny way and the Goat is funny in a malicious way. No, I will not elaborate.

Anyway, everyone give thanks to the Lamb for interrupting what was sure to be a very boring and patronizing PSA from their grouchy cat hubby. Truly, they are doing God's work. Granted, the Lamb canonically is God now, so, uh. Mostly they're just doing their own work.

Speaking of their grouchy cat hubby, yes this is absolutely still Narilamb, Narinder is 100% into his goofy-ass spouse always no matter what and we all know it, he just wasn't expecting his brand new adopted kid to share the same single goofy-ass brain cell as the Lamb. :)

You know what I think would be fucking hilarious? If The Lamb never told anyone their actual name.

HEAR ME OUT! Just imagine, You’re The Lamb. You’ve been running a cult for fucking CENTURIES. You’ve met a ton of people, killed a lot of enemies, and made a proper name for yourself… Except then you have an existential realization that you never told anyone your actual name, it’s way too late in the game to try and change it, and now it makes a lot more fucking sense why people who’ve known you for ages like Ratau never call you by anything outside of their own little nickname for you.

Now, here’s where it gets better: Imagine NARINDER REALIZES THIS TOO, in the first week or so of him being a grumpy lil shit in the cult while he’s thinking of ways to fuck with The Lamb he comes up with the idea of calling them informally, something outside of the proper title would surely fuck with them somehow! But then he pauses and realizes… He doesn’t know their name.

So now Narinder’s on his own little quest to figure out The Lamb’s name. The Lamb had no idea what the fuck he’s trying to do. And shenanigans ensues.

Would it be a bit ironic or adorable if Anthea sang 'You'll Be in My Heart' from the Tarzan movie to Aym and Baal when they were dealing with nightmares to help them sleep?

OMG-ironic I guess considering their hearts don't beat??? XD

But in all seriousness I've actually thought about Anthea singing to the boys! I kinda like the idea of them singing 'Edelweiss' from The Sound of Music to lull them to sleep-my own mother loved the film when I was little, and back when she would still sing to my sister and I while kissing us goodnight it was always 'Edelweiss'.

(now for obligatory LORE)

As Anthea and Narinder work on their relationship they take turns who sits in bed with the kits and who pulls up a chair-neither can leave really without risk of one of the boys waking up looking for them only to be gone, so for those first few weeks neither get much sleep. They take turns keeping watch-that way someone can hopefully catch nightmares before they fester, or at least be there if it's their name called. It drains them both a LOT, but hey they're parents-a little sleep loss is nothing when it's your kids.
