Also also please consider. Orion Pax did not give them any reason to believe he'd be much different of a leader than Sentinel Prime was. Like, we as the audience know he's different, we got to see the heartwarming speech he gave to the miners to inspire them, but to the High Guard?
To the High Guard, who he wanted to have storm Iacon alongside him? The High Guard, who had just lost a decent enough portion of their numbers (including their leader) to just a small fleet of Sentinel's troops, who's likely assuming that their friends will have already been executed by the time they arrive? When Shockwave very reasonably asks "Why should we follow you?"
Orion looks to Elita, and Elita threatens to punch Shockwave. To the audience, it's clearly meant to be comedic, but to the High Guard? All it says is "you can fight for me and have a slight chance at living and returning home or we can just kill you all here."
They didn't get a single actual choice the entire movie. Every decision the High Guard made was backed by a reasonable belief that making a different decision would mean execution. No wonder Megatron was able to rile them up to war against the Autobots so easily.
Okay so we all know there’s nuance around D16 crashing out and killing Sentinel to then become Megatron right? However I think the High Guard immediately becoming the Decepticons is pretty justified considering their perspective on everything that just happened lmao. Like can you imagine watching the guy that you were fighting against the system with to save your friends 5 mins ago just got killed by the (boy)friend he came to rescue, who then kills the guy in charge that ruined your life and society as a whole after betraying and exiling you for ages, but then that other guy gets resurrected, becomes the new de facto head of the system and immediately RE-EXILES you??? I’d be so pissed bruh like yeah fuck it let’s make a whole new rebellion that exists purely to fuck that guy over, pass me that fan boy ass brand

For ghost of darkmount :0
Do any of the other autobots ever get to see Smokescreen as he is, in his injured "ghostly" form??? Even if it's just glimpses in the corners of their eyes or a lingering shadow in the halls of darkmount??
I just think it would be cool for Smokescreen to physically haunt the con, but unintentionally also haunt the bots too
(definitely will not be used in the process of writing the fic.. or will it)
I'm so very glad you asked :)))))
Wheeljack is naturally the first one, since Smokescreen ends up helping break him out. It was his first time actually showing himself to anybody, so he ended up leaning REALLY hard into the persona he'd been crafting. Before that it was mostly stealing things, messing with lights, leaving torn up bloody Vehicon parts in places, etc etc (with the vehicon parts thing, he never actually killed anyone. He found a couple rooms full of spare parts, brutalized them a bit, dipped them in energon, then started leaving them in places he knew they would be found)
as such........ he accidentally leans into it a bit too hard and manages to convince Wheeljack about the whole thing. Now, Jackie is far from supersticious, but...... well, he's not an idiot either and it's very obvious that SOMETHING is going on here and it really, really hates the Cons but for some reason is willing to help him get out
and when he learns about Team Prime's dead rookie...... well, it isn't that much of a stretch. Not compared to what he saw, not compared to how terrified the Cons were
Bumblebee and Arcee are the ones who "meet" him next during the attack on Darkmount. Smokescreen was of course alerted to the attack, and at first he was even going to reveal himself. After all, the Autobots are here, they're okay, I can go home-
he helps them from the shadows of course. He rationalizes it to himself that keeping secret will be more useful, that this way the Cons won't know what hit them........ but the battle is still hard. They almost lose. Hell, they would've lost were it not for Smokescreen overloading some of the important systems
and that's when he realizes...... he's helpful here. In this one battle undercover, he's made more a difference than he ever did before. He was useful, and he wasn't making anyone annoyed or losing relics by getting blindside or putting the humans in danger
Just for a little longer, he promises himself as he sneaks onto the Nemsis. Just until we win
Bumblebee and Arcee of course weren't oblivious to his help. They noticed the way the doors didn't seem to have any locks or how some of their enemies would fall for no reason or how some would let out fearful cries of "THE GHOST!" "IT'S HERE!"
they can't help but think back to what Wheeljack told them, if only for a second
(and if the two of them whispered a thank you and an I'm sorry to the air, well that's nobody's business but their own)
Wheeljack and Ultra Magnus end up encountering the ghost for the third time, however it's very brief. It's right after the pair had "killed" the remaining Predacons (ofc being unaware of the fact that they'd all been moved) and were fighting Predaking. Luckily the fight is much less dangerous than the first time and UM doesn't lose his hand, but Predaking still has to act like he's vengefully angry
however, this time to give the pair a chance to escape, they end up having Smokescreem "distract" Predaking, aka he appears and disappears around the cave and "baits" him away so the other two can escape
then the fourth time. The fourth and final time.
Ratchet when he gets captured.
Now, Smokescreen wrecks absolute HAVOC on the Decepticons because....... well, he thinks they're dead. He thinks that Megatron bombed the base and killed everyone and Ratchet's the only one left
the result? His destructive tendencies skyrocket. He's actively setting fires and explosions, scaring everyone he can, destroying equipment, dragging people into walls, anything he can
and of course, Ratchet is completely spared from this chaos...... but oddly enough so is all the cybermatter experiments. Smokescreen isn't stupid after all, and if the Decepticons could manage to crack the formula? That would quite literally save the planet
of course, he's not planning on letting them go through with it, he's actively sabatoging the Omega Lock construction every way he can. But Ratchet, Shockwave and Knockout are all excluded from the chaos
when Megatron gives Ratchet to Predaking is when things begin to shift
see, Predaking and Smokescreen haven't been sitting on their asses waiting for the Autobots to eventually win, especially not after the Decepticons tried to kill the Predacons. They've been planning
and now that the formula's been finished? They have everything they want from the Decepticons and are ready to burn this place to the ground
and well....... if they're planning to do that, there's no real reason to stay hidden, is there?
and Ratchet.......... well, he was expecting several things when he landed at the feet of the predacon
Rage. Pain. Grief. Maybe even his own death
his dead teammate stepping out from the shadows and expressing that he and the Predacon Who's Apparently On Their Side have a plan?
nowhere on that list

Megastar?
And if you're up for it... Megatron/Elite Trine, with Megatron as the carrier?
These two idiots don't know jack shit about raising a baby, but they're trying. God damn it, they're trying so hard. This feels like G1 to me, idk why. It's a G1 kind of night. You'll never convince me that G1 Megastar aren't the biggest switches. They fight snd spar and wrestle for dominance, winner gets to top, and the other one is so charged up from being manhandled they practically break the berth every night. A sparkling was never planned and by the time they realize they're going to be parents, it's too late to consider termination
Megatron is the one who ends up sparked, and while he never, ever thought being a carrier would ever be possible... he doesn't hate the idea. He really doesn't want to raise his child in the midst of wartime, but trapped on earth he doesn't have the means to put them into cryostasis when they're born. So instead, he pledges to do the best he can: so long as he's alive, no slagsucking autobot or uppity high and mighty civilian will ever put their servos on his child. This sparkling will grow up with every freedom he didn't have, they can be whatever they want to be and no one will ever speak a work of functionist pitslag to them. They'll never be anyone's property, they'll never be branded and forced to toil ceaselessly for the sake of slavedriving overlords. He won't even force them to take over his throne if they don't want to: he's not planning to kick the bucket anytime soon anyway, and he'll only retire when he's dead. If his sparkling wants to be a teacher, they cab. If they want to be an author, they can. If they want to be a sharpshooter or a spy or a general or one of his high commanders, they can. That's the finest gift he can give them, he thinks: the freedom of choice. Starscream begrudgingly agrees, as the child isn't going to be a seeker and so he can't prepare them as a future Winglord. They're not perfect and are in fact fucking crazy, but they do want the best for their little spark.
When the baby is born, they have Megatron's original alt mode, surprising no one as it was a singleton pregnancy. They're his gunmetal gray and Starscream's flashy red, truly a beautiful sparkling. Megatron is so proud, and almost nostalgic of the past: he sees so much of himself in them, full of potential but born free of Cybertron's confines. He can't wait to see what they'll become. Starscream shares the sentiment, and it's the first thing they've truly agreed on in so, so long. They're dysfunctional as hell but they both love their sparkling.
When the baby is born, Megatron is back to work within 3 days. He slows down for nothing and no one, not even birth. He's back on his throne commanding the decepticons with the newspark suckling from his pouches, Starscream for once proudly posted at his side. The seeker is walking on air, showing off to the entire airforce that he sired the first sparkling born in 4 million years. Very rarely is one of them alone with the bitty, just because their jobs overlap so much, but when they are? Starscream baby talks the little one. Coos at them about how handsome and smart and perfect they are, what a wondrous perfect little baby! Bitty eats it up, and he relishes in the way they giggle and wave their tiny servos at him. Megatron is quiet most of the time he's with them, content just to watch them babble senselessly and slowly learn about the world. At night though, every night before putdown, he whispers a solemn oath to them. "I promise to always protect you, to always be here for you, to always support you and be proud of you. I promise you a future where you're free and happy, and I promise to always stand beside you. I promise that as long as I live, no one will ever hurt you, and I promise, as l live, you'll never suffer needlessly." and he means every word. Their future is indescribably precious, it's priceless, and he'll fight with all that he has to make sure it's preserved. They won't walk the same path of misery as so many decepticons before them, and he'll tear the world apart a thousand times to guarantee that.

FANCOMIC REVIEW: Fire in the Sky by akapen011
Tumblr media
So @akapen011 recently released his Transformers fancomic Fire in the Sky, which is, in his words, a "gayer, angstier" of the G1 episode of the same name. I've been excitedly following the development of this fancomic for a few months, and it was finally released as a physical copy last week during the 2023 TFcon, and digitally this Sunday!
I have been asked to review the comic, so I'll do my best. Please keep in mind that I'm not a professional and that this is a casual review :)
With all that over with, let's get started!
Plot
The fancomic loosely follows the plot of the original G1 cartoon episode, which goes as follows:
Earth is rapidly cooling down
This kinda freaks out the Autobots, bc there is fucking snow in the American Southwest... that's not very poggers!
They head over to the Arctic, and guess what? The Decepticons are syphoning Earth's energy from a green crystal in the ground! Somehow!
Meanwhile, the Decepticons found a Really Big Guy in the ice, and Starscream recognizes him as his old colleague Skyfire
Starscream explains that he and Skyfire used to be scientists/explorers before the war, Skyfire got lost in a storm and Starscream couldn't find him
Skyfire wakes up, joins the Decepticons out of loyalty to Starscream
Skyfire attacks the Autobots, then rescues the human characters who tagged along for some reason (Spike and Sparkplug)
He takes them to the Decepticons to prove that they're not the bad guys
They're the bad guys
The humans are imprisoned, which troubles Skyfire
When some of the Autobots are captured, Megatron orders Skyfire to kill them. He refuses, and is shot by Starscream in a fit of rage. Starscream then shoots the Autobots...
But it's okay! They were just pretending to be dead :) they repair Skyfire and head on their merry way...
But the Decepticons attack! Prime and Megs fight. When Megs orders Skyfire to attack the Autobots, he refuses and attacks the Decepticons instead!
Him and Starscream have an aerial fight which ends in the crystal destroyed and Skyfire buried in the Arctic ice again, presumed dead. The Decepticons flee, and the Autobots mourn Skyfire's sacrifice at least until they resurrect him 2 episodes later lmao
Now, as with many things in the G1 cartoon, there's a lot of issues. The episode, though it has a lot of potential, is written haphazardly, and a lot of potential outlets for emotional exploration are left untapped. Not to mention that some characterizations make no sense; why would Starscream, who is shown to care deeply about Skyfire when he is first found, shoot him when he disobeys the orders of Megatron, who he despises? Why didn't the Autobots just dig Skyfire out? Etc., etc.
However, in his rewrite of Fire in the Sky, Akapen makes some minor tweaks to the plot that, in my humble opinion, make the narrative far stronger. I won't spoil too much of the story, but suffice it to say that the characters and their motivations--especially Starscream's--are a lot more well-rounded and complex. Plus, I can promise that the comic certainly delivers on its promise of angst--the ending had me turning off my monitor and pacing around the house with a blank expression muttering nonsense under my breath for a good five minutes, and I guarantee that is the greatest honor I can bestow.
Writing
I've put this in a separate category from plot, because while plot and premise are the meat and potatoes of a good story, the way it is written--the dialogue, the ways characters interact with each other, the subtle intricacies of symbolism--are the spices that can make or break the meal. The original 1980s Transformers cartoon is notorious for having an interesting premise (what could be cooler than an eons-long civil war that's ripped a planet apart?) and incredibly bland spices (shoddy animation, poor writing, and staunch refusal to actually explore any of the implications of the aforementioned eons-long civil war), which overall leaves its value as a story based mostly on fan interpretations and nostalgia.
Akapen's Fire in the Sky, however, is abundantly seasoned with vibrant and intriguing spice. In sixty-eight pages, it manages to fit in superb character interactions; actually engage with the implications of the war; and portray the characters as three-dimensional, interesting, and overall enjoyable people to study.
Visuals
For most of this review, I have kept up a veneer of professionalism. This is the part where that shoddy disguise falls away. Akapen is one of my favorite artists, and it's obvious why--his art style is absolutely delicious eye candy! His line art is soft without being washed out, and I feel like I don't see enough traditional TF art....It's so Fucking Good...
Anyway, the comic is black & white with grayscale shading, and it looks amazing! The panel layouts are amazing too--there are so many pages with incredibly dynamic layouts, and I love them so much! Examples below:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These are the three best examples of dynamic page layouts in the comic, at least in my opinion. Akapen does an amazing job of using shape and design to highlight the emotion of the current scene, and boy does it show!
Also the way he draws faces is just....ough...OUGH..OUGH..!! *takes 15 screenshots and runs away*

I AM GOING FERAL.! THE EXPRESSIONS ARE SO FUCKING GOOD I AM GOING TO PUNCH A WALL
This is a really long post so I'm gonna wrap this up here. Please check out Akapen's work, and of course his comic!

In your Optimus in Episode 1 timeline, what are Mikasa and Eren's teakwood relationship with the Survey Corp like?
Previous Episode of the Episode 1 Timeline
Okay, at the very least, I can do character dynamics!
So the Survey Corps really just see Eren and Mikasa as these random kids they've essentially adopted. A good portion of the time, Eren does bother Optimus, and thankfully Optimus has the patience of a saint to deal with him. They go get really concerned when Megatron (or in this case Galvatron) gets angry towards Eren and the titan is essentially arguing with a child.
But whenever Optimus or even Megatron is unavailable, Eren starts following the Survey Corps and bombarding them with questions. They're endeared to it, but at times they get tired because none of them are really equipped to handle a kid. Hanji seems to be the only one to match Eren's energy, as they tell Eren about their titan experiments. Eren is disgusted by the titan experiments at first, but Hanji manages to convince him of the importance of it. In order to defeat an enemy, they must be able to know that enemy first.
Erwin and Carla are a little worried with Eren's increasing enthusiasm with Hanji.
Meanwhile, Mikasa is the well behaved daughter. She tries her best to mind her own business, does what she's asked, tries her best to be respectful and not cause trouble. However, they are stunned at her impressive strength, especially at nine/ten years old. Levi decides to take it upon himself to teach her how to do some self defense. Because there are people that are going to be bigger and stronger than her, and she needs to learn how to properly fight. Mikasa's apprehensive at the idea, but Levi reminds her of the people that she needs to protect, and Mikasa agrees.
When Carla, Eren, and Mikasa are safely able to leave once the coup happens, they are a little bit upset that they have to go, but Eren promises that he's going to join the Survey Corps so he could see them again. They have tried to deter him in the past from joining, but Eren's passion for freedom has always won out. And they know that if Eren joins, Mikasa will be joining as well.
However, when Eren, Mikasa, and Carla return sooner than expected with Armin. They're surprised, and a little concerned. It isn't until they get the rundown of "this kid is a titan shifter and has less that 13 years left to live" that they feel really sad about it. They put time and effort into helping Carla raise Eren. They fight so that kids like Eren can live long lives. But now Eren is going to be dead by the time he reaches his 20s? It really hurts them. But they promise themselves and the Shinganshina trio that they are going to keep them alive as long as possible. Those three are the future of the walls and they will protect them with everything they have. They swear it.

Skyfire was a young explorer when he discovered Earth alone. Even though he didn't detect any intelligent life on the planet, Skyfire still wanted to explore the area. Unfortunately, poor Skyfire ended up being caught in that strong windstorm and end up being frozen for many years, missing most of the war.
When the Decepticons find Skyfire in that ice cave, Teenage Starscream is the one who find him. Even though Starscream never met this new bot, he still wants to help him. When Skyfire wakes up from his long slumber, the tall bot tried to get up while wondering he's at.
Starscream places his hand on Skyfire's shoulder, to which the latter grabbed it and making the former surprised by the act, blushing from it even. The little Seeker has never had physical contact like this before. Most of the physical contact Starscream receive usually just Megatron petting him on the head, ruffling it, and placing his hands on his shoulders. The other Decepticons don't even touch him as they see no reason to since they believe this Starscream clone won't least long.
The Seeker clone never had anyone held his hand before. This touch felt nice and fuzzy. When Skyfire is fully conscious, the first thing he sees is the young second-in-command as well as realizing he's holding the smaller bot's hand.
Megatron immediately welcomes Skyfire into the Decepitcons. The Decepitcon leader orders his ward and second-in-command to put their new member on guard duty. Starscream and Skyfire end up talking to each other and Starscream becomes happy to have someone his age to be with. Crimson Wing will be happy to know that her owner finally made a friend.
Skyfire feels out of place since everything change when he was in ice. But he's happy to help since he's making a new friend in Starscream. They continue to talk to the point they tell each other's dreams and likes. Skyfire tells his new friend that he wanted to be a scientist back on Cybertron while Starscream reveals that he wants to protect Earth life from the Autobots. But their conversation is interpreted when Megatron orders Starscream to return to his side.
When the Autobots arrive at the Arctic Circle, Skyfire does his best to fight the enemy. However, the moment that Spike and his father, Sparkplug, are in danger, Skyfire immediately goes to their rescue. While Sparkplug is nervous around Skyfire, Spike soon realize that the tall bot is harmless thanks to his past experiences with Starscream.
After Skyfire takes the two humans with back to the Decepticons to prove that they're the good guys, Starscream takes Spike and his father to a safer area. Though, he and Spike talk for a little bit about if this is what Starscream wants. Spike even points out that Megatron is unhappy with Skyfire for promising not to harm Spike and his father.
Hearing that, Starscream quickly goes to defend his new friend from his leader, telling Megatron that Skyfire isn't used to battle like the rest of them. Megatron quickly picks up that his young ward is starting to become close to their new recruit. Not wanting to create another clone because the ingredients are low and because he does have some fondness for the little Seeker, Megatron will use the excuse that Skyfire refusing to listen to orders to kill off the tall bot for distracting his second-in-command.
During the fight between the Autobots and Decepticons, both Starscream and Skyfire are conflict of having to fight each other since they develop a friendship during their short time together. Skyfire wants Starscream to come with him after realizing that the Decepticons are the true monsters as well as seeing how they treat Starscream.
Starscream wants Skyfire to come back to the Decepticons since the tall bot is the first Cybertronian that treated him so kindly other than Megatron. The Seeker clone is willing to plead with his father figure to forgive Skyfire's actions.
However, Megatron sees this as an opportunity to kill Skyfire while he orders Starscream to head back to the cave to get the Energon before the Autobots sees him, which Starscream reluctantly agrees. During the fight between Optimus and Megatron, Skyfire tries to help Optimus, unfortunately, Megatron uses this as his chance to offline the new tall Autobot.
Taking a chance, Megatron fires at his archenemy, but Skyfire quickly takes the shoots that he thought were meant for Optimus, hitting near his spark. Megatron orders the Decepticons to retreat just as Starscream returns with all the Energon he could carry while believing that the tall bot will die from his injuries. When the Seeker clone sees that his new friend isn't with the Decepticons, he desperately ask his mentor where is Skyfire.
Megatron, of course, lies to his young air commander, saying that the Autobots killed him merciless while begging everyone to stop fighting and work through their problems. Hearing that his new friend died in battle because of the Autobots, Starscream vows to bring down the evil Autobots after they took everything he cares about.
However, unknown to both Starscream and Megatron, Skyfire managed to survive but barely. Ratchet tells Optimus and the other Autobots that Skyfire will be live but he needs to recover, which will take months for him to do so. Skyfire cries out for Starscream despite him needing to save his energy. Spike promise Skyfire that they will save Starscream from Megatron.

Earthspark Skywarp is Rekindling my Appreciation for TF Fight Scenes
Yes I'm rewatching Earthspark for the 994035th time. You can't comprehend how much I love this show, but especially the sheer creativity going into the animation, and especially Skywarp's teleporting. I'm just so glad they not only remembered to bring that back, but actually added to it. The 2D effects are gorgeous, and the way she interacts in partnership with Nova Storm is just plain awesome, and it's actually exciting to look at!
I often struggle with fight scenes due to my visual processing difficulties, so my brain tends to just phase-out excessive explosions and gunfire that most TF media opts for. But I can actually watch Earthspark, and enjoy it! The TFs use their powers and bits of their kibble and actually do interesting and fun things, they fight like how Cybertronians should fight, conveying their power, their difference, their alien nature. Everyone praises the Seekers vs Megatron + Optimus fight, but it's because it's so fresh. Earthspark promised it would bring us something new, and it really has. I don't think any other show has done such a good job of showcasing exactly why humans fear Cybertronians as well as that one shot of Skywarp clashing with OP as Dot desperately tries to get her family to safety. They're giants, with technology far beyond human understanding, almost mythic. Most of the humans there have military training, including Dot, but they all just scatter as soon as the Seekers touch down. There is absolutely nothing they can do against these monsters.
We don't get to see if Nova Storm has her outlier ability (or whichever term they might use in Earthspark), but I hope she does, and I hope we'll see the other Rainmakers (and the other Seekers!) She does notably take some significant knocks, including Megatron's fusion cannon piledriving move, and yet only Skywarp comes away with the slashed wing, so I have high hopes. They were a good pair to choose for this fight, because their abilities are formidable, but not so much that they couldn't be easily defeated by OP and Megs. It *feels* like a dramatic, high-stakes fight, because we see how afraid and vulnerable the humans are. Skywarp's flashy power gives us a glimpse at the more frightening aspect of Cybertronain nature - their unpredictability. Some of them can just do things even other Cybertronians can't replicate, let alone protect against. Optimus denies that the humans fear them, but how can they not, when even the Autobots can't explain or replicate every aspect of their species' technology? It would be easier if they could just be seen as machines, but outlier abilities are nearly supernatural, they show the Transformers to be so much more than that, and therefore, not trustworthy, not reliable, not easily defined or categorised in terms of threat level and hazard assessment.
And the fact is - Skywarp isn't even the worst of the Seekers, let alone Cybertronians overall. She looks like a top-tier threat, able to warp in close to Optimus and hack at him before he can stop her, to jump around faster than he can fire a blaster, making twists and air manoeuvres no human made jet would ever manage, but he so easily knocks her aside, he's more surprised she and Nova Storm are even trying to attack in the first place. Imagine how much devastation someone like Sunstorm could have wrought? The humans would have likely been killed immediately by one of their radiation bursts. Or, if Skullcruncher is here, imagine the horror of Mindwipe's ability? Overlord?
GHOST are established as throwing around their power over Megatron and the Autobots, but the moment a couple of beaten-down Seekers show up, who don't even have the benefit of working with their original trinemates, they're totally out of their depth, relying on Prime and Megatron to fight. The mystery deepens as to just how they're managing to hold any kind of sway over Megatron at all, and what happened to Skywarp and Nova's trines. We know Starscream is captured, but what of the others?
And why are the Decepticons in such bad shape in the first place?
I need the rest of Season 1 beamed into my brain now. I love Skywarp and Nova Storm's friendship so much, they're such an unlikely duo for mixing up trines, and yet it works so well.
I'm for sure gonna make more posts with some specific analysis of mythology and folklore in Earthspark and also Nova Storm and Skywarp's relationship because I have a LOT of thoughts but for now, watch Earthspark. Please, if you haven't already, support the show. It's so good, the writing is fun, it's visually stunning, please watch it.

MTMTE 50-52
MTMTE 50
all right, back to pain, here we go, my favorite arc in the whole damn thing
“It's the first time we've died together.” what a hilarious punch to the gut this sentence is lmAO
I do like everyone else's reactions to everybody's last words, Starscream's is actually making me a little emotional in how sincere he's being. Fdhjksl and the Scavengers watching like it's a soap opera
love how, much like the deal with the alternate quantum Lost Light that the DJD slaughtered, now this is just a morbidly fascinating bit of insight on these characters, but when I first read this I was panicking lmAO
I like how even though Megatron has sworn not to do any more fighting himself, he's happy to use his experience to guide the others. They're having banter like they're some sort of team or something :')
Rodimus really said “normal people, squishy people, I see no difference, life is life”
jhdkfsak It's not meant to be funny but it is incredibly funny how right after being like “I will never hurt another living creature” Megatron involuntarily punches the shit out of Minimus. Like when I said “womp womp” earlier I was thinking of when Megatron later slaughters the DJD, I forgot he breaks this vow even sooner than that
love all this talk about how the fool's energon might be changing Megatron's personality, knowing that it's literally just unfiltered and kinda gross-tasting and that's it. Placebo is a hell of a drug
aww Lotty is sweet with Megatron
urgh and the lure has been cast...
hook, line, and sinker, we're in it. Man, poor Censere, he never did anything to anyone...
Tumblr media
motherFUCKER
god I remember feeling so betrayed by everyone on this page where Getaway reveals that he didn't escape from the brig, he was released by everyone. Perceptor in particular fucking haunted me because I didn't know if all of them knew about the DJD being involved and it took months to finally get to the part where we're told that only Getaway knew about them being involved and everyone else was under the impression that it was the Galactic Council lmAO I couldn't handle the idea of him throwing Brainstorm to the wolves like that
this fuckin speech by Getaway is so funny because this may as well be pulled from one of the many tumblr posts about how no one is allowed to like Megatron or else they're a bad person lmAO I fucking read this exact take on my dashboard so many times and it is still so funny to see it in the canon text after all the bitching about how the comic is not addressing how unfair it is that Megatron didn't get executed immediately for his crimes (even though it did, explicitly and immediately) and the comic obviously must be pro-fascism for trying to give Megatron depth as a character instead of punishing him constantly. Rewind shooting his past self to try to save the rest of the universe and the field of flowers on the Necrobot's planet don't count, those weren't punishment enough, they don't count because they just made him feel bad instead of killing him, he has to die for it to count. You are Getaway, you were all Getaway the whole time and you're stupid and bitter and wrong just like he is. *points at Getaway* that's you, you're the villain
oh that's right, I forgot about this extra bit
DRIFT I fuckin missed you my sweet boy. I do like him subtly turning down Pipes's invite to hang out, he really is just hard wired to self sabotage any chances of starting a friendship, he's lucky that Ratchet's so stubborn
I love Pipes saying if Drift was a short aquatic king, he'd have a massive crush on him. Your loss lmAO couldn't be me, fuckin move over gayboy I'm bout to get it lmAO
gdsfjks poor Ambulon, I'm sorry buddy, the puns are a love language I promise
oougfhjds Chromedome watching over past Rewind, HIS past Rewind... It does feel kind of weird to grieve for him even though he's technically still here. It's different though, it makes sense to grieve for that version of him, they're the same, but it's different
aww everybody pitching in to help clean up Swerve's bar... it's a temporal hot spot, everyone's paths cross here at some point........ or at least they did until SOMEBODY FUCKED IT UP
MTMTE 51
cannot fucking WAAAAIIIIIT for Tarn to get owned
love Magnus saying “Screw Getaway.” Don't apologize for swearing, you're right and you should say it
thousand yard stares at the dust Censere just turned into...
*points at Tarn* haha stupid bitch doesn't know we're gonna fight back and live, you think you've already won, dumbaaaasssssssss
Rodimus I love you and I get that you're stressed but don't ever be mean to Ten for any reason ever again
I admittedly didn't see this take a ton of times but it is burned into my brain regardless from just how angry it made me lmAO but I remember seeing people be angry that everyone decided to stay and protect (what they thought were) the organics, specifically because it was “unrealistic” that all of them would be so selfless. Honestly this take still pisses me off lmfAO the entire. Fucking reason we're here is because these people were quite literally hand-picked to be here precisely because they are the least selfish individuals on the Lost Light and weren't willing to throw their friends, crewmates, and captain under the bus just to get rid of Megatron. They're GOOD PEOPLE, the kindness is the POINT what fucking care bears villain bullshit are you ON
Ten is so good...
fucking godghsdjakfdl this god damn page with Drift and Ratchet showing up in their spiffy new designs gave me the world's most powerful heart attack when I first saw it lmfAO BECAUSE!!! BECAUSE I SPECIFICALLY REMEMBER JAMES FUCKING ROBERTS STATING ON TWITTER THAT THERE WERE NO PLANS FOR THEM TO COME BACK LIKE BARELY A WEEK OR TWO BEFORE THIS ISSUE CAME OUT!!!!!!!! So I was like “aw alright that's fair, we're kind of in the middle of an arc anyway so I get it, no real room to add them in, I'll prepare myself for like another solid year of no Dratchet” AND THEN THEY JUST HFSJDKASLHDFAJSF
aww, admittedly I don't really read the fan letters at the end of some of these comics but even just skimming the ones in this issue, I see a lot of familiar usernames. Not all of y'all were terrible lmAO
MTMTE 52
“If we can team up, anyone can,” he says. Shut the fuck up gayass, you love him lmfAO
gdfjk love Ratchet casually getting his gun eaten and also his entire body almost melted by Helex in the background, just a little low-key brush with death, fun little welcome back for ya
yeah, more feeding into the Roller is Tarn theory, “If YOU could be turned...” I'm gonna be real, I paid attention to Glitch this time around and I still think it makes more sense for Tarn to be Roller lmfAO truly the only connecting threads between Tarn and Glitch is that Glitch had outlier powers that could disable technology and he was present in Orion's old team. He was never shown to be as close to Orion as Roller was and there was never really any explanation for his powers evolving into being able to kill living tech with his voice and also getting his face and hands back and also growing three sizes taller lmfAO I ultimately don't care that much, it truly doesn't matter plot and themes-wise, but if I gotta have a bit of criticism for this comic, I'll tack that one on the board
“Did they waste their lives? Did I waste mine?” literally yes lmfAO jokes aside, this dialogue between Tarn and Megatron rules, love Megatron having to face the living embodiment of himself at his worst
not gonna lie I completely fucking forgot about Overlord lmfAO
gdhsfjk Velocity immediately putting her foot in her mouth while meeting Ratchet... also damn, First Aid talked a lot of shit huh lmAO poor guy's been through the wringer and I guess Ratchet gets the brunt of his bitterness
also fucking LOVE this conversation between Drift and Rodimus, love that Drift immediately jabs at him for not looking for him after he came clean about Overlord. I've seen people criticize this moment, saying that Roddy's apology sucked, and I'll admit, it kinda does lmAO but I think that's kind of the point. It's a very Rodimus apology, and Drift knows that and understands that even though the words being spoken aren't a very adequate apology, the intent behind them is sincere and Drift is a good enough person for that to be enough. He could hold a grudge, he's got the grounds for it, but he just doesn't want to, and fucking good for him, I'm proud of him for that. In fact wasn't there a James Roberts tweet about this where he explicitly said this was meant to reflect more on Drift than Rodimus? I somewhat remember that
pulls up a chair and some popcorn to watch Overlord and Tarn's catfight lmAO
it is genuinely so fucking funny how much Overlord picks on Tarn, I've seen plenty of really funny fan works where the two of them bicker like feuding twitter users but like. No it's completely canon, he treats Tarn like a child trying too hard to be cool and I am fucking LIVING
ah yes, there it is, Tarn ripping Kaon's head off. In addition to all the Tarn-fuckers lamenting that he wasn't their poor misunderstood meow meow, I remember a lot of people saying that Tarn only did this in response to Overlord's teasing, and like. Not really??? I mean I'm sure Overlord didn't help, he was definitely pissing Tarn off, but it's Megatron that pushed him to kill Kaon for the crime of caring about his dog. In Tarn's eyes, he was performing a mercy kill to stop Kaon from becoming “weak” like Megatron, it's really as simple as that. He literally says it on the very next page lmAO

"I don't understand the Flat Stanley joke either," Ravage replies. "But not getting a joke is no reason to do something like this and I'm sorry you're all mixed up in my poetry club drama."
She shakes her head. "You might need to go see KO after we get all of this off you. I don't even have the polish you use around here but I'm not sure I can put it over this gouge where you're losing energon, even if it is just a trickle."
Suddenly she is exhausted.
Soundwave says he'll be home tonight, so at least there's that. Frenzy promised he'd work their station on the bridge and she can trust him more than she can trust Rumble, so at least there's that.
At least there's this, and that, and this, and more of that. At least.
She has to keep going.
She doesn't know where Howlback is or if she's even alive. She doesn't know where Glit is either. Grindcore fell but she hasn't heard anything. The head of the DJD sounds like Glit's old boss to Soundwave. There's just her and Soundwave and she can't trust Megatron because what if she tells him what happened and he just blows Dirge's fool pointy head off?
Misfire's out there doing what Soundwave pays him to do.
Okay. She's a big girl. Laserbeak's helping her get all the muck out. She can hear Buzzsaw yelling at Vortex over a comm, and that's funny. Deadlock...
Deadlock left a long time ago.
"You have to take better care of yourself," she tells Skywarp. "Do not be alone with my ex...whatever he was." She's going to tell Starscream and make him listen somehow. She's tired of the Coneheads and the Command Trine and the Rainmakers all being huge fucking idiots about whatever they think there is for them all to fight over.
Of course Cloudburst and Sandstorm are Coneheads and they're not idiots. And Redwing and Hotlink and Bitstream...
"Warp, why are all the Seekers always fighting lately? What's really going on? They can't all be deeply concerned with who gets into my valve and who doesn't? Is that why Starscream's breaking up trines when he sends out patrols?"
"That's what you said." Ravage sighs. "I'm not going to tell him what happened, but I am going to tell him that Dirge has been treating my friends like aftslag. And I intend to take care of you. I'm not a Seeker, but I have pretty little claws, and after all these years I think I know how to treat your wings. First I'm going to rinse it out though. Soundwave won't care if we make a little bit of a mess, as long as the grit goes down the drain and the bathtub is clean when he wants it. He's working so hard these days."
The worse Megatron got, the less inclined Soundwave was to want her on the bridge. But there was really nobody else who could do her job--which was to do his job, while he busied himself with dealing with Megatron, since he didn't want her to do it. She was going into the field more than she'd done in vorns. Laserbeak was still allowed to spend time with Megatron; but she was a bird, and he'd practically made a pet of her.
Laserbeak hadn't Ravage's pride. She didn't care about sitting on Megatron's shoulder or even about singing, as long as she got what she wanted. Ravage wondered, though, if LB had any idea how annoyed it made Starscream when Megatron fussed over her wings.
Laserbeak was there when they reached the hab, which made things easier, because she could fly.
Soundwave and Ravage had taken over what had once been a lost combiner team's space, which meant that they had the same showers and drains that the Stunties and the Combaticons and the Structies had--which was convenient, given how much mess Rumble and Frenzy got into and the ugly pollution that Buzzsaw and Laserbeak needed scrubbed off them. The oil bath was behind the curtains, and you didn't get in there before you were clean, like an Urayan. Really only Ravage and Soundwave themselves used it.
"LB, get the showerhead and help me sluice Earth out of Skywarp's backside and wings, please."
Laserbeak was happy to help. Laserbeak was always happy to help anyone (except Autobots, anyway). "What you fell into?" she whistled, in a dialect somewhere between binary and Seekercant.
There was a lot of dirt. Ravage pulled the screen up out of the floor so they could make sure that all of it went down the drain.
"You sure you didn't get dragged on your aft through fresh asphalt before this?" Ravage asked. Still, once they got him sat down so she could reach his wings, she and Laserbeak--who had wings of her own--were able to deal with the much.
"Mmm, grass." Ravage chuckled, then scowled. "Dirge jumped you at the end of patrol, didn't he?"

It says asks are closed, but your recent post said they're open? If they are closed, that's fine, sorry to bother. Love your stuff btw! What if LL crew were temporarily turned human. The human liason helps them adjust (even if this is just for a while-they hope) and since it's Christmas, they decide to make everyone a traditional Christmas dinner (or as close to it as they can...) Who actually helps in the kitchen, who's more of a hindrance, and who sneaks food when they think no one's looking?
Transformers MTMTE/LL Reader Insert – For Just One Day
A/N – This one was tricky, trying to fit everyone in.
Warnings – Very Mild NSFW
Rating – T
Tumblr media
It started with a stupid bet that the crew wouldn’t last a day as humans. To be honest, you forgot even making the bet with Brainstorm, but apparently those were your exact words, and now he hadn’t just turned himself human, but the entirety of the Lost Light. Fortunately, the effects of Brainstorm’s device were only going to last a day. Unfortunately, the day it took place was Christmas. Now, you not only had a million questions to answer about being human, but you also had to cook a Christmas dinner for everyone because Swerve had given the idea to Rodimus and it had spread like wildfire.
“Okay,” You said, tying back your hair and putting on an apron, mildly anxious now that everyone was looking to you for a Christmas feast. “I’m going to need help in the kitchen, if anyone will volunteer.”
Ultra Magnus nodded. He had just finished making a pamphlet for the bots who were struggling with their humanity. “I shall organise a cooking party,” he said, and with that, he was organising groups of bots who had volunteered into those willing to cook meat and those who weren’t.
Soon, you were left with a group of around thirty volunteers, looking to you for instructions. Among them were Rung, Ten, Swerve, Nautica and Cyclonus. You started by showing the group how to prepare the vegetables, setting off a production line. Rung was very attentive to his carrots, though having more experience on model ships, he was paying far too much attention to detail and was very slow with his work. Upon watching Ten, who was much faster, you decided to partner the two up to make up for Rung’s lack of speed.
Whilst trying to give instructions to some other bots, you found Swerve watching you dreamily, rather than preparing his items. When you went over to him, he blushed and started talking a million miles an hour, soon becoming more of a hindrance than a help, though you humoured him, since it came from a good place.
“You can keep yapping, as long as you get back to work, instead of staring at me,” You winked.
Swerve, feeling suddenly very nervous looked around for something to distract you, although it was too late for you not to have noticed his blatant ogling. “Ugh, I- I- I- FLOUR FIGHT!”
He threw a fistful of flour at your face. You coughed and spluttered, raising a bemused eyebrow once you were okay.
“I-Uh-I-” Swerve babbled, wondering why he hadn’t just got back to work when you had called him out.
“I’ll let that one go, but I’m gonna get you back later,” You deadpanned, smiling only when your back was turned and he couldn’t see you; it would be fun to watch him panic for a while.
You walked on, stopping when you found Nautica stirring an empty pot, whilst watching Brainstorm and Perceptor dreamily. You had a feeling that she had volunteered for the cooking before she realised that they were going to be running various experiments on the now-human crew. You stopped to look at the pair of arguing scientists.
“It is not a contest,” Perceptor sniffed drily.
Brainstorm wrapped an arm around him, “Everything is a contest, Percy. If it wasn’t, existence would be futile. So, you in or not?”
“Most definitely not. I am here to research the human mechanics that you have so hastily created, not compete over who can do the most experiments before the day is up.”
“Ah, classic Percy, that’s the fighting talk I love. We’ll tally the scores at sundown.”
Turning your attention back to Nautica, you knew she wouldn’t abandon the work she had promised to do, even if she didn’t realise that she wasn’t actually doing it.
“You should go with them,” You told her.
“Hm? Me? Oh, no, I couldn’t. I’m supposed to be here,” Nautica smiled bashfully when she realised that she had been stirring the wrong pot and the cocktail sauce was still just a batch of raw ingredients.
“Nautica, you’re supposed to be having a good time. Go nuts, run some experiments. Christmas is all about having fun, after all.”
Nautica chewed her lip, considering it.
You pushed her towards the exit, “Go!”
With that, Nautica gave you a quick hug and ran excitedly out, leaving you to get back to checking on everybody else. On her way out, you saw Megatron standing awkwardly in the doorway. From the disturbed look on his face, it occurred to you that nobody had told him what was going on and he had only just figured it out upon seeing everyone else.
You approached him, “Hey Megatron… It was Brainstorm-”
“So I gathered,” He replied gruffly. “Please can you inform me how long this is to last.”
“Around twenty-four hours.”
“I see. Then I shall remain in my hab-suite until it is over.”
“Wait,” You grabbed his arm. “We’re um, celebrating a human holiday, if you want to join us.”
“Please (Y/N), do not pity me. You know I have no place among my peers during celebrations.”
“Megatron, I will only pity you if you leave. Come on, you should be among your friends, and don’t say you don’t have any ‘cos that is utter rubbish. So, as your friend, I am ordering you to get over to your other friend, Rung and help him with those potatoes.”
Megatron stared at you, dumbfounded. If he didn’t have so much respect for you, he would have left to hide away until this was all over. As it was, he simply nodded and joined Rung, who immediately struck up a friendly conversation.
‘Right,’ You thought to yourself, ready to get back to work until you saw Tailgate hanging out near Cyclonus, about to pop some raw bacon in his mouth.
“NO,” You ran over picking him up. “PUT THE BACON DOWN.”
“WHAT? WHY?” Tailgate whined. “You didn’t yell at Ravage when he stole the eggnog.”
“He did what?” Sure enough, when you looked around, the eggnog was gone without a trace; how Tailgate had seen him take it was beyond you.
“(Y/N), I just wanna taste Cyclonus’ cooking. Pleeeeeease.”
“Tailgate, I get that you’re excited, but Cyclonus is on meat duty, ‘kay. Meat can make humans really, really sick if we eat it raw. I’m just doing this so you don’t get ill. So, I’ll say it again. Put the bacon down.”
“Do as (s)he says,” Cyclonus added, without even looking up from his cooking station.
Huffily, Tailgate put the bacon back onto the counter and you let him go. “If you want everything so perfect, you better check the dessert station,” he huffed.
You were puzzled for a moment, but you decided to do what he said, heading over to the dessert section.
“Oh, come on,” You groaned, upon seeing Rodimus remoulding all the gingerbread men into gingerbread Rodimus stars.
“Hey (Y/N)!” Rodimus grinned, trying to hide his artwork behind his back. You had been far too occupied to notice, but Rodimus had already been kicked out of the kitchen by various other members of the crew no less than seven times for causing havoc wherever he went. Quite frankly, he didn’t want to be kicked out again; it was getting harder and harder to sneak back in.
“Really? You couldn’t leave the gingerbread men alone?”
“(Y/N),” Rodimus put a hand over his heart. “I, for one, am disgusted that you would allow us to take part in an act that encourages cannibalism. I mean, eating fake humans is the first step towards eating real humans, and I will not stand for it.”
“Ugh, where the hell is the dessert team?” You asked frustratedly, looking around for any sane bot.
“Oh, them? Well, they chased after Riptide who stole all those little pastry things to eat. Then when they came back, Rewind and Chromedome had stolen all the chocolate.”
“Why would they do that?”
“They heard something about chocolate being an aphrodisiac, so they took it and went away to canoodle.”
“Then what happened?”
“Then Drift came to try some stuff.”
“Drift, really?” You said, surprise colouring your tone.
“Yeah, don’t tell him I told you, but he has kind of a thing about watching organics eat, so he stole some food to get into his kink state. Anyway, that was when the dessert team abandoned base and went to play twister. By the way, super-fun game. Anyway, that brings us to this point, when I’m your only hope for saving dessert, thus saving Christmas.”
You rubbed the back of your neck tiredly, “Fine… Do whatever the hell you want to the gingerbread. Just make sure to cook it afterwards. I left the instructions on the datapad there.”
“You got it,” Rodimus winked. “This is gonna be the best dessert ever.”
Finally, you were free to get back to work, and with only a few more problems, dinner was served. You and a few others volunteered to take food to those who had decided to quarantine themselves. Your first stop was Whirl’s hab-suite. Quite frankly, you were surprised that Whirl hadn’t come out to make mischief when everything started.
You knocked on his door, “Whirl, sweetie, you in there?”
“GO AWAY, MEATBAG!” He roared from inside.
“Hey, are you okay?”
“I SAID GET LOST. I DON’T WANT TO SEE YOU OR ANYBODY ELSE WHILE I’M LIKE THIS.”
You didn’t really understand what Whirl’s problem was, so you just left the food outside his door, telling him what you had done before leaving. Whirl didn’t go to collect the food. How could he, when he had a problem of this nature? As it turned out, something had gone wrong with Whirl’s transformation, so instead of his usual holoform, he looked entirely different. He was a grown man in a leather jacket, with fairly good looks. The problem was that without his interface panel or his usual feminine form, he couldn’t hide his arousal for you. As such, he had vowed not to come out until everything was back to normal.
Where others were saying Merry Christmas, all Whirl could think was ‘Bah, humbug.’

Hi hi! Could I request TFP Wheeljack headcanons about him worrying over his human partner while they're injured in the med bay?
((A/N - Hmm, I’m sorry, It’s not that this ask is boring or anything in fact it sounded super sweet but for some reason my brain is mush and I think I’m still like grumpy or something-
I guess this is more like “Wheeljack inadvertently caused an injury to his human friend and he feels bad about it but is also justified in his actions” Idk I didn’t have inspiration when I wrote this.
I might try again later when I’m feeling more into it, I’m sorry this isn’t what you asked for.))
Wheeljack
-It all happened so fast, one minute you two were just having a good time on your day off while you just goofed off out in the desert just blowing up rocks in this big abandoned canyon while you also took the opportunity to practicing aiming by placing tin cans on various structures to shoot em off with a pellet gun, and the next thing he knew you both were ambushed from above by a bunch of vehicons that must have picked up on his Autobot signal that he sometimes forgets to mask whenever he goes out beyond the base. You ran and hid behind some cover before they really took notice of you just like how he taught you to do if something like this did ever happen, which was good because that meant you weren’t in the way whenever he needed to get a little more aggressive and violent with these sparkless drones, but it also meant that he cannot keep a good eye on you while he fought off about four of those machines by himself. It wasn’t a hard battle if you had asked him, he has taken on more bots by himself- but it took a little longer because they like to fight dirty and they ganged up on him without him being able to do much about it except brute force his way through the crowd with various punching and kicking, and by the time it was over and all the cons’ were dead on the ground and smashed into a million bits and you didn’t crawl out of your hiding spot right away to congratulate him as you normally would on seeing him win a battle,  he went out of his way to peek into every gap in search of you to make sure you were ok and not stuck in some hole or something (humans were small, you guys can get stuck in places he can’t even imagine!). You weren’t one to play games with him like Miko would, so when he found you lying on the ground covered in dust and debris from the previous battle he was just in he could swear in that moment he felt his spark physically drop out of its chamber in his chest and hit the floor hard enough to shatter as if it weren’t physically attached to his frame. You lay face down on the ground looking a little worse for wear as our clothes was a little tattered and your skin greying from the settling clouds of dirt in the air, his processor was telling him it probably wasn’t as bad as it looked- but his spark was panic while telling him that he got you killed because he was too dumb to wait for you to be in full cover before engaging with the enemy. There wasn’t any blood as far as he could tell, but he was pretty sure humans were not meant to have their arms bent that way, so as carefully as he could he lifted you up close and transported you back to the base after calling for emergency ground bridge from Ratchet.
-He got an audio full of what everyone’s opinions were once he got back at base; it was as if they all had this uncanny ability to gang up on him and make him feel as if he is gteh worst Autobot to have ever walked the Earth, and you know what maybe he was, but it’s not like he had much of a choice as they were literally in the bottom of a canyon without anywhere to really go- to say he would have fought them back for their harsh words and pretentious attitudes is an understatement as apparently hindsight was a damn superpower to this group of bots, but they can say whatever they want to say because really they were not there when it happened and they really have no place to judge him for his quick actions. Beyond his little oopsie of forgetting to scramble his signal, he was in the right, because if he hadn’t taken those bots out they would have easily just captured him and kill you. It’s not like it was Megatron that came after him or anything anyway, because if it was one of the bigger Decepticons contenders he would have stalled them a little before making his move against them, so why does it matter? Anyway, that kid’s mom, June was her name wasn’t it? She took you to the hospital after you regained consciousness a little bit after she examined you in their medbay to see how badly your injuries were and if she needed to treat you right then and there or not. It was as he predicted, it looked worse than what it really was, you were scraped and bruised and your arm was broken, but nothing irreversible happened because apparently you did the right thing protecting yourself from falling rocks that would have pelted you in the head. If anything they should be proud of you for being able to handle yourself in a way that your injuries could have been so much worse and yet you still have that goofy smile on your face as if you weren’t in any pain, he knew you were, but you were playing it up for everyone else’s benefit as they tried to dote on you and junk. You played the whole “oh if Wheeljack weren’t there, they would have killed me!” card and he was loving how everyone suddenly backtracked hard and told him he actually did the right thing for once engaging instead of waiting. He did feel guilty about what he did to you though as it was all just one big accident, but you both knew it was bound to happen eventually as you hung out with giant alien robots asa hobby, but you took it in stride and were a trooper about it in front of everyone.
-The next few days were a bit different however as you were barely even allowed to even come over to the base once your family found out you “got injured falling off a small cliff while exploring the desert”- at first he was frustrated as you were slowly becoming a great source of companionship to him, but when you did finally come out of your house bandaged up like some kind of burn victim with your arm in a sling did it really hit him that this really aws all his fault. You sat quietly in the cabin of his alt mode while stroking your arm quietly as he can tell you were still in pretty rough shape from all of the small injuries peppered all over your body. Scrap, you were dinged up pretty bad weren’t you, and now he looks like a total aft for not being more worried earlier when all of this happened. You were such a trooper though with that smile on your face and the insisting that you were fine and that he didn’t do anything wrong- he should have known you were acting to make the others back off a little and give you the space you needed. You were kind of good at playing people with the way you gave off those fake smiles and those cute little chuckles- Primus, you even had him fooled, and he can normally read right through your little acts. To be fair though, tensions were really high, and a lot of bots and people were yelling at him so he hardly was in the right mindset. He asked how bad it really was, and you were honest, you told him that it hurt like hell but you also really emphasized the fact to him that you don’t blame him for what he did, but you do expect him to worry about you more when shti does happen or else when you die you are going to haunt him for the rest of his existence while giving that real genuine smile he has been missing all week. Ah, there it was, the real sass and the real joy that he likes seeing come from you when being around when it came to you both just joking about dumb things- it was why you all got along so well. He did apologize to you kind of in his own way, and promised to try and be a little less selfish when you were around, he forgets how fragile humans really are compared to them sometimes. You forgave him of course, but you milked these injuries long after most of them were healed, and he hated it, but it also made him feel good to know there were no hard feelings between the two of you because now that you managed to wriggle your way into his life he finds more and more as the days passed that he can’t imagine his life without you in it.
