actually i should go back to the idea of calling it mark of the assassin 2. I should. Because that just means i get to clown around. You KNOW hawk shows up wearing her best, slipping right back into that nobility mindset like she never left it, its almost scary to rook who Fucking Blows at this but is charming enough to make it work anyway. Christian doesn’t want you bothering him.” “It’s really no bother,” Christian says, trying to appear as if Satine clinging to him isn’t the best thing that’s ever happened in his whole entire life, though he can’t help wincing as Satine’s arms tighten around his neck. “But if you keep doing that I think she’s going to choke me.” “Fine,” Nini huffs, throwing her hands up in the air. “I guess you’re stuck with her then.” Satine whines, “I want to stay with Christian!” “I just said you could," Nini exclaims, exasperated. “Yay!” Satine cheers, giggling so hard she nearly falls over and Christian has to grab her waist to steady her. “He smells nice,” Satine adds, burying her face in Christian’s neck while his face heats. “God,” Nini says like she might be annoyed, patting Satine’s back affectionately, “you are the worst when you’re drunk.” She turns to Christian, “I assume it goes without saying that if you so much as think about upsetting her again, you’re going to wake up on fire.” Christian gulps.

Forever laughing about how sherrif Galpin called Wednesday Velma because I wish that was the show we got. I would have LOVED to see "scooby doo but with wednesday, enid, thing, xav and tyler" but instead we had to suffer through the boring ass, confusing boy drama. - I dont even hate the romance notion tbh like Tylers fine I just thought he was a boring match for her. Until ykno, the obvious.

The parts where we get to run around solving mysteries are so fun and campy and I know a lot of ppl found gomez and morticias ep a bit cringey but... it was fine?? I loved every second of them going to the gates mansion I pray for more of that s2.

It's words they hadn't considered, lost in the never-ending spiral of situations out of their control, the pieces of words and actions remaining sprawled across the table. Rosetta and Io had said he acted strange in Agastia when they stayed behind to fight Fenrir, and it was in that same city he first denied their request. A moment like looking in a mirror, perhaps a bit distorted, but the expression he had been wearing had been uncomfortably close to their own. (Why wouldn't it? When their hearts had lost its meaning.)

And then a memory that wasn't theirs emerged, and any thoughts about his grief was shelved.

They aren't surprised. They should be. This wasn't the kind of conversation they had ever had (but neither was any other). How many times now had he helped them out? Whether intentionally or not (watching the Grandsleuth made them wonder about the path their father had travelled, she looked more happy in the sky than locked to some harbor). Getting better — from the grief? Or from the past. He should be better, they should be better, everything was alright now. The night sky was glimmering, stars from a distant place gently offering warmth across a backdrop that wasn't broken anymore. Should they aim for it next? The moon or the stars—whichever would make people laugh in disbelief.

"You should visit sometime", it flows naturally, as if they were talking about tea and not matters of the heart. Since everything was alright and returning to normal, the bond between them should also return to its uncertain, wavering form. Not a friend, but not quite a foe, a presence they weren't able to name.

Ahh Thank you! She's a human doctor whose mum married a nautolan and had twins with him, she has a step-sister her age that she lives with and she is a mad genius who accidently brought a clone trooper back to life because she wanted to see if her medical theory was right and as the clones are technically republic property its not medical malpractice and they can't suspend her license. Her apartment with her step-sister features her sisters room which is full of water is below their hallway with a hatch on the floor so her sister can just flop in. I think of the underwater district as being largely connected with smaller water circuits for the very wealthy and the majority living in an area that is basically Coruscant submerged, due to leaks and the build up of the planet there are a few larger lakes with a gap between the water and the building's above. The community is a bit insular and there are few official crossing points with fancy depressurisers and water drainers to switch between the zones but there are also a lot of just basement doors opening onto it and knowing a shortcut.
