I still ship stucky in the year 2025, I never grew out of this. Even as an adult, as I'm rewatching Marvel, I'm like "Yeah well I see two people in love what can I say?"

Like I'm the first to advocate for platonic love and to love every interpretations but stucky? In my heart, deep down, I know I will never see them as platonic lol.

Is it just me, or does Young Royals really love to scare us, lull us into a false sense of security, and then pull the rug out from underneath us (in a way that's much worse than the original threat)?

For example, you see August clocking Wille leaving the movie before Simon in episode 2.

You (if you weren't too distracted by the scene itself) might have worried that he might show up when they were having their first kiss there. But he didn't. The show consciously created that tension and then relieved it as a foreshadowing of the much worse version of that to come later.

That tension is recreated at the end of episode 4 when August is shown outside a window at Forest Ridge.

There's a brief moment of relief--he's at Alex's window, not Wille's. While you know deep down where this has to be going, you still have a kernel of hope. And then even when he does make it to Wille's room, you can't tell it's a boy (let alone Simon) for five full seconds. Hope tries to stay alive. We all know how it ends, though--that tension snaps right back into our faces when August spots Wille and Simon moments later.

This happens on a different scale with Wille and Simon's planned weekend together in episode 3. When Wilhelm tells Simon that August will be staying at Forest Ridge, that introduces a tension of "will they get their weekend together?"

That tension of "will they get their weekend together" is relieved when Wille asks if he can come to Simon's in Bjarstad, only to AGAIN snap right back into our faces when a much bigger problem surfaces--Erik dies. So, they don't get their weekend anyways.

Hell, there's even a hint of this in episode 2 when August walks in on Wilhelm looking at Simon's Instagram before rowing practice. He doesn't actually see what Wille was doing, though--so it's okay--and he ends up taking a call from Erik.

In another way, this happens with Wilhelm and Felice's relationship from season 1 to season 2. She initially kisses him in episode 3, and we worry that he might just go with it. He doesn't, though. What a relief. In the next episode, though, once he's crown prince, Wilhelm is publicly flirting with Felice (despite her relationship with August) over how "cute" she looks in a video. But our worries about this fade with the release of the video and Felice's support into season 2...

Until they actually almost hook up in the third episode, that is.

And it's definitely not limited to Simon and Wille and their relationships. It comes up with Sara and August too. When he initially kisses her in episode 4 of season 1, you might worry that maybe Sara will respond in a less-than-healthy manner, or that she'll keep what happened to herself instead of telling Felice. Sara rebuffs him, though, and tells Felice about what happened in the stables later that episode.

Tension introduced and relieved, so we move on. But then in the final episode of season 1, Sara goes to August's room to confront him about the video. And she ends up kissing him. In season 2, they end up being in AN ENTIRE SECRET RELATIONSHIP that Sara keeps from Felice. The original fear that you might have had about August twisting his way into Sara's heart was well-founded, it seems.

There are also smaller examples. Like when you see Erik driving incredibly fast in episode 1, or when you see Wilhelm riding on the scooters with Simon, Rosh, and Ayub in episode 2, some people worried there might be some kind of accident. (He was going hands-free, for fuck's sake.)

Well, in both of those instances, everything turned out okay, while Erik's actual offscreen accident in episode 3 obviously did not.

The anxiety about Marcus catching Wilhelm and Simon kissing at the Valentine's party is momentarily alleviated when it looks like him and Simon are going inside, but then Marcus turns around and sees Wille (not to mention he sees Simon eyeing Wille throughout the entire song and during the applause).

Let's not even get started on the drugs. We thought that storyline was resolved, gone, done away with after Alexander was seemingly expelled during season 1.

But then he's back in season 2, and the question of whether anyone will tell Alex that Wilhelm was the one to pin the blame on him arises. It seems a minor issue--given that Alexander wasn't actually expelled, and he seems to like Wille, we don't necessarily expect it to matter all too much. In episode 6, though, the "drug thing" is back at the top of our list of problems. We thought that this had been dealt with! That we'd gotten past it!

But it's worse than before--there's a pill bottle with Simon's father's name on it, and August has it! August has a potential witness behind him (Alex) and is threatening to tell not just the school, but the cops!

Don't worry, though, the tension is relieved when Simon tells Wille he's not going to report August to the police... for approximately six seconds until we see that Sara is reporting August instead.

Anyways, following this pattern, you can draw some really interesting potential conclusions about season 3 based on some of the big tension reliefs that have occurred over the past two seasons. Not saying that any of these will happen, but I'm preparing myself for anything:

Wilhelm has some sort of drug OD—like Simon (and some of the audience, probably) worried on the night of the Society party. This is one I'm really hoping doesn't come up.

Wilhelm actually kills August—when Wilhelm puts that gun down, it's a massive relief for most of us (also the characters present). This would just be... wild. And would explain Omar's tweets about how crazy the season is, I guess.

Sara outs Stella's crush on Fredricka, like she was threatening to do when Felice was moving out of their room at the Manor House. Istg if she does this I might lose it.

Wilhelm's mother dies. This was definitely one idea on some people's minds when Wilhelm takes that call that turns out to be about Erik in episode 3.

Wilhelm actually abdicates. This is definitely a threat made in season 2 that was later assuaged. I'm pulling for Wilhelm taking the throne only to abolish the monarchy. That might be a bit too optimistic on my part, though.

ALTERNATIVELY, August gets the throne. They teased us with this when Wilhelm almost didn't give the speech. August was literally walking up to the podium when Wille leapt up to take his place and momentarily rescued us from the notion that August was going to be ascending the throne.

Wilhelm and/or Simon and/or Sara get pulled from Hillerska. After the video, both Simon and Sara were potentially not going to return to the school. Simon was even late for the first day back, when he missed the choir performance. And Wille was almost physically removed from the school in episode 2 of season 2. Given the statement in the trailer about the school potentially shutting down... this one doesn't seem like too much of a long shot.

It's hard to say what any of this could mean for Simon/Wilhelm's relationship—I mean, in season 1, we had about six instances where we thought we'd get Simon and Wilhelm together and originally didn't (the first music room scene, the conversation after Erik's memorial, the second music room scene/drug situation, the video leak, Wilhelm LYING about the video leak).... the reasons kept getting worse and worse, until there's a release of tension when Wille says he won't deny the video—only for it to be far more crushing when he does deny it having promised otherwise. It seems like there's a new, bigger problem every time they turn around. So far, they've overcome all of the obstacles they've faced (honestly, I don't know how)... but I can't imagine that they're about to be facing an easy course based on that trailer.

Anyways, these are my meandering thoughts about some ways that we can try to guess at what we might have coming based on the show's patterns and its use of foreshadowing. Like I said, I'm just trying to mentally prepare myself for some of the wild-ass shit that might go down. So these are some crazy scenarios based on a few fake-outs that we've had so far. I'm still hoping that they don't take the smallest, most hopeful bits of seasons 1 and 2 and crush them in season 3....

“How’s this year’s count going, Reggie?”

Regulus barely had time to step through the threshold behind the fruit bowl painting before his brother’s voice reached him. His social avoidance tactics were utterly useless when it came to Sirius—his brother always seemed to know exactly where to find him. If he didn’t trust his own spell detection skills so completely, he might have suspected Sirius of putting a tracking spell on him.

Rolling his eyes, Regulus kept walking toward the dungeons, making it clear he had no interest in indulging his brother’s nonsense. “Are we really doing this every Valentine’s Day?” he asked as soon as Sirius caught up, determined to get the conversation over with.

Regulus hated this day—especially when it meant being subjected to the sickeningly sweet public displays of affection from a certain new couple that he absolutely did not want to see. Ever. 

“Until it’s officially proven that I’m the more attractive brother,” Sirius replied, casually running a hand through his long black hair. “Or until one of us gets an actual valentine,” he added in a quieter voice. Then, with a smug grin, he continued, “Anyway, I got seven—three love letters, a rather vocal and terrifying confession right outside the greenhouse, and chocolate.” His voice practically dripped with satisfaction.

Oh, poor Sirius… 

Regulus smirked and, with deliberate ease, said, “Nine, dear brother—who is, regrettably, less attractive than me.”

Sirius’s reaction was, by far, the best poem Regulus had received that day. He allowed himself a moment to relish the obvious shock and embarrassment on his brother’s face, feeling immensely pleased with himself. Definitely, one of the great joys of having a sibling was being able to humiliate them at their own game.

The conceited Narcissus, drowned by his own reflection. Poetic.

“Well,” Sirius shot back, clearly unwilling to accept defeat, “at least I got chocolate from someone I actually like. And that’s worth three or four, so technically, I’m still ahead.”

Regulus froze mid-step.

Son of a fucking bitch.

Of course, his brother wouldn’t go down without a fight—and of course, he wouldn’t hesitate to go for the low blow if it gave him the slightest advantage. For someone who supposedly despised his family, that was very Black of him, really.

Sirius was well aware of his unrequited crush on James ‘Lily Evans’ Perfect Boyfriend’ Potter and it was an unspoken rule that neither of them would ever bring it up under any circumstances. 

And yet, here they were.

But fine, if Sirius wanted to play dirty, so be it.

Regulus arched a brow and said smoothly, “Are you sure the chocolate Lupin gave you wasn’t just out of courtesy?” He injected all the venom he could into the last word.

“IT WASN’T JUST COURTESY—” Sirius started, then abruptly cut himself off, realizing exactly what he’d just admitted.

Regulus nearly laughed, he didn't even have to make an effort.

With a slow, satisfied smile, he said, “If you say so… Though, for the record, Lupin also gave me chocolate this year—same as last.”

“REMUS DID WHAT?!” Sirius practically shrieked.

His idiot brother had just handed him victory on a silver platter. 

Regulus resumed his path toward the dungeons, smirking to himself.

“AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN ‘SAME AS LAST YEAR’, REGULUS?”

“Exactly what I said, Sirius.” And, just to twist the knife a little deeper, he added over his shoulder, “It’s my win.” 

Sirius was left behind, completely bewildered.

Guys last week I was arguing with a Mileven who said all bylers do was overanalyze. I explained to them that sometimes we do, but things like lighting, parallels, the ending shot, and a couple other small things were not overanalyzed. They just continued to repeat over and over that bylers are delusional blah blah blah, you know, basic Mileven shipper stuff.

I didn't care and went on with my fantastic life because WHY WOULD I CARE STILL, you know? But then...they came BACK!!

Keep in mind, this wasn't on my blog or even their blog, this was in the comments of some random blog and they took the time to come back to the argument to tell me that the theories about a baseball field (idek what that is) just shows how delusional bylers are.

I've accepted that not every Mileven shipper will be nice or believe us, and that's fine. They're entitled to their own opinions, but why come BACK to an argument that was over and settled a week ago? Why come back to a random person's comments just to find my comment again and start calling us delusional? WHY DO YOU CARE SO MUCH 💀

Anyways, I still don't care and I will continue to defend Byler shippers purely because this person took the time and effort to come back. I'm not going to name-drop or anything (even though they seem like the person that would find this and reveal themselves) unless they really take this to the next level.

Oh, I have lots of ideas for them.

Because I'm drawing them pre/early-relationship, I have a lot of stuff I haven't gotten to yet. I think, despite Rarity falling in love first, AJ is the most outwardly and obviously in love. Like, girl is in LOVE with her wife. The type to take off her jacket and put it over a puddle so her wife can cross. The type to walk around with hearts popping over her head.

Something I definitely wanna get around to drawing is how they were when Rarity first moved to Ponyville, because they would've hated each other, lol. AJ going from, "I can't stand her fake ass. 😒" to, "Yes Miss Rarity. Anything you want, Miss Rarity. 🥴" Or Rarity going from, "What a big, dirty brute. 😡" to "What a big, dirty brute. 🥵"

Anyways, later one comic idea I had for when they eventually get married is Rarity comes home to catch AJ trying to surprise her with a dinner. But things are going awry because AJ is so stressed and nervous about making everything perfect, and she even burns her apple pie. She has a bit of a breakdown because she feels she can't do anything right like she's supposed to anymore, and Rarity comforts her and tells her, why don't they bake the pie together? The comic ends with the two kneading dough together.

Hi! I recently found Seven and now that fic is becoming one of my favourite parts of my nights (also Masquerade too). Your writing style and the way you capture the essence of both Buffy and Spike (and even Willow in Seven) is so fascinating to read because it is just them! But I have a question I don't know if others have made it, but how do you imagine the relationship between Buffy and Spike in the future? Like beyond Buffy's twenties.

My headcanon for Spuffy is pretty solid. I think Willow's resurrection spell made Buffy immortal -- like genuinely immortal. This is based on a couple of canonical hints, including the fact that she was shot in S6 and flatlined but bounced back the second the bullet was out without additional medical care. She was also given what the First described as "a mortal wound" in Chosen, and then not only survived but did some serious action hero leaping from building to building acrobatics within minutes. I think she's gotten some Deadpool-level regeneration powers as a result of that spell and Spike is pretty much the only person equipped to help her handle that once she learns the truth. We also know love, loyalty, and dedication are things Buffy and Spike share, so as they navigate the good and bad, I see them drawing strength from each other.

I also think, absent the resurrection spell, slayers don't age like regular humans. We know they have amazing healing powers and superhuman abilities; in order to be effective slayers, they need to remain in peak physical condition. Discounting the comics, which I do, we never see any slayer actually age to the point where they begin to physically decline. I think this is also part of the reason why the Cruciamentum exists; the Council relies on slayers being young and impressionable to keep them in line. As slayers age and grow stronger and more independent, they gain too much power and become harder to control, which is a problem for the Council as it could destabilize the power they cling to. The Cruciamentum doesn't really make sense beyond that -- the explanation we're given reeks of "party line we tout out to deflect criticism of a barbaric practice that enables us to keep control over someone we fear realizing she has the power."

So in terms of the mortality/immortality thing, my headcanon is pretty solid. In terms of how this affects Spuffy, I don't deny it would be a lot for Buffy to handle once she realizes she's not aging or dying when mortally wounded, but Spike is uniquely equipped to help her through the worst of it. I don't think their relationship would be without turmoil and they'd definitely fight/get on each other's nerves/swear each other off in the heat of the moment, but they also love each other and know each other in a way that few people get to experience, and ultimately, they're not happy unless they're together.

Oldest SakuIno headcanon I have is that Ino never actually had a crush on Sasuke she was jealous that Sakura had a crush on Sasuke and he was taking all her attention but because Ino was a dumb kid she made the illogical leap of "clearly this means I have to be her love rival now to get her attention back" and as an adult she looks back on this with the biggest grimace of pain imaginable

Meanwhile Sakura's crush on Sasuke was because everyone had a crush on Sasuke and she thought that was just what you were meant to do when really if you gave her an opening she'd spend at least 20 mins gushing about Ino's hair and how nice it is to hold hands with her
