Jamie is the first to realize what Isaac is doing, and is the first to move to join him. He’s already touching the sign along with Isaac before anyone else seems to have made the connection.

We go from Jamie constantly fighting against leadership, to being one of the first to support a good cause, to eventually doing some leading himself!

romance is valued over friendship too much in this society, and this is so wrong. i’ve experienced friendship stronger than any romantic feelings, and i wish the beauty of friendship and friends and best friends was acknowledged just as much, if not more, as dating and romance

i despise the phrase “just friends”, there is nothing Just about it

imagine the same amount of books about beautiful, maybe tragic, maybe gentle, maybe awful friendship as there are books for that in the romance genre

i think it would be beautiful
