My main problem with Alastor is just how. Not threatening he is. I can't take the Bob and undercut combo seriously like- LMAO

So! I edited a lot. One, his head is now. Partially missing. This is because of both his cause of death (shot by a hunter), and because I think that he got told a lot in life that 'he had his mother's eyes', and what's a better sinner punishment then taking them away? (Also missing half his face gives the vibes of 'a face not even a mother could love') so if he ever could see his mom she wouldn't even recognize him

I don't think he's blind, he has a supernatural way of seeing, but also may occasionally just run into walls inexplicably.

The fact he's chewed to bits is cus of the hunting dogs that attacked him, and a punishment bc Alastor took pride in his appearance and now he literally looks like a zombie.

Alastor is now also very polite and gentlemanly, no matter what. He never swears, and he will remain calm and cool to everyone, even people like Vox and Lucifer.

Also he made a deal with EVE NOT LILITH PLS I HOPE THIS IS THE CASE IN THE SHOW PLEADE PLEASE PLEASE

Why?: Yujin, the Alpha of the IVE sister clan, oversees everything that goes on, protects you with her life, and will sacrifice herself if necessary. She wouldn't even allow you to go outside the world as she knows well how fucked society has become over the years and doesn't trust anyone but her Vampire sisters. She'd kill and threaten anyone that dare gets too close or even make eye contact and have strict rules you must follow without question because well... Yujin knows best.

Kim Gaeul (Enforcer)

Score: 100/100

Why?: Gaeul is just about the same as Yujin though a bit older by a shy 100 years, her parenting style is quite controlling than your typical human parenting, Gaeul always wants to know where you are at all times otherwise she will get worried, she is quite the mother of the clan and you are her most prized possession and doesn't want anyone snatching you away from her and she'd never forgive herself for losing you.

Jang Wonyoung

Score: 60/100

Why?: Wonyoung is quite laid back compared to the rest of her sisters, though that doesn't mean you can just go out and party with random strangers at night. Nope, Wonyoung does have her limits on your free time, she'd prefer going out with you more and loves to spend quality time with you, Wonyoung always tends to crave your attention and love as she'd given you ever since you were an infant. Wonyoung always wants to keep you company no matter where you go to ensure your protection and no evil human tries to kidnap you.

Naoi Rei

Score: 90/100

Why?: Being a Japanese Vampire, in her own culture of origin, she takes pride in her parenting duties, and keeping you safe is one of them... Even if she is seen as overprotective and overbearing but she doesn't care one bit about what others think. Who are they to talk about how she raises you as she sees fit? They don't know the sacrifices and hardships she had to go through to ensure your happiness and well-being.

Kim Jiwon (Liz)

Score: 85/100

Why?: Liz though is quite protective of you, she wants you to learn to solve problems on your own though she will step in if she sees that it's too much for you to handle alone. However, she'd never allow clubbing, drinking, or anything that can get you seriously hurt, not to mention that people will take advantage of you as she was a victim of it once and she doesn't want the same happening to you. Liz would follow you around wherever you go and would be cautious of whoever you interact with making sure they don't have sinister intentions.

Lee Hyunseo (Leeseo)

Score: 95/100

Why?: Leeseo may be the youngest of the clan but that doesn't mean she's naive and inexperienced enough not to take her duties seriously, Leeseo always puts your safety and well-being first before her own. Leeseo always checks on you often making sure you are safe and not doing anything foolish that can get you hurt as she cannot bear the thought of you getting injured. She wouldn't hesitate to discipline you as she sees fit to ensure you don't do break her rules again.

the more you look at yourself, the more you realize why people assume you and renjun are a couple.

at first, it was humorous to the two of you how people immediately assumed that you were a couple. they skipped past siblings, friends, or even acquaintances, and immediately thought, couple!

now, people assuming that your dating one of your friends has become one of the most normal prospects of your life, for some reason, people just think you date around a lot, they think you've somehow dated all of your friends, how riveting!

but with renjun, it's different. it's not like any of your other friends, where your disgusted at the idea of dating rumors even existing between you two.

the more you observe how you and renjun act with each other, the more your convinced that you two might actually look more like a couple then you think.

i mean— it's not weird for you two to share clothes, have matching bracelets, matching rings, sleep in the same bed, or just constantly lean on each other.

at this point, it's normal for renjun to just waltz into your place unannounced because he wants to. at this point he pretty much lives there, pretty much knowing every corner of your house.

having renjun curled up on your couch is not an abnormal sight to you. in fact, not seeing renjun at your once at least once a week is abnormal, it's almost as if he's moved in.

but the more you think about it, the more you realize the two of you may as well be a couple. you pretty much live together, the two of you cook for each other, the two of you take care of each other, your both the first person the other calls whenever your in trouble.

"bad day?" you ask as renjun storms into the house, pissed off. he doesn't even have to answer for you to know that he did in fact have a bad day, work just always brings out a side of renjun that's rare to see.

"seriously" renjun lets himself fall onto your lap. he lays your head onto your lap and pouts, he then lets out a frustrated sigh as he rethinks the day he had at work. "can't tell you how many times i wanted to absolutely punch customers today".

"do tell" you respond to that statement, and renjun just lets out another frustrated sigh.

"tell me why this women decides to come at me, because the store has no more teddies in stock! how is that my problem? it's not my fault you have to break the disappointment to your child! she was yelling at me like i'd just threatened her life or something!"

this isn't the first time renjun came to you with a story of something horrible happening at work, the complaints you hear from him are just gold, because it's funny hearing the usually calm and patient renjun be so frustrated and angry.

"i seriously hate your job".

"i hate my job too" he whines, pouting once again.

maybe you do kinda see why people think you and renjun are dating, but to you two that's just normal! renjun wouldn't say it's weird, and you wouldn't say it's weird either.

"you are most definitely in love with him" jaemin tells you once in the middle of a game of uno. "i know you two are together, i will catch you two".

"okay weirdo" you remember telling him, and he gasped in offense at the insult.

whenever you remember that scene, you just have to let out a laugh, because jaemin can be just so ridiculous sometimes.

your now sitting on your phone, trying to pass the time. renjun is laying down right beside you, fast asleep on your bed. you look over at him, and then chuckle once again.

oh he's so pretty, and that might seem creepy, but you can't help but find him cute, with his flushed cheeks and peaceful snores, watching him sleep is just.. interesting.

I watched Hazbin Hotel and i'm lost here.

The story in itself isn't so Bad in general but Charlie is kind of annoying and a bit selfish in a certain way.

I get her desire to redeem her people to avoid extermination day but at the same time people are in hell for a reason like cherry bomb is a toxic friend to Angel and a Bad influence, almost everyone the fandom convinced themselves alastor isn't a Bad selfish person and genuinly wants to help Charlie when he is here for his personal gain. Stop thinking he sees Charlie as a daughter he doesn't he was clear about his intentions.

Angel isn't a good person either he isn't the worst but he is in hell for a reason he was in the mafia he obviously did tons of shit in his life. His trauma can't be used to justify his behavior either.

And even if we're ignore all this like sir pentious getting redeemed it's not really okay either he did ONE good things and ended up in heaven.

The biggest problem is how unfair it is for the winners in heaven. Imagine you got killed ans went to heaven because you were good and your killer goes to hell but he shows up in heaven because "he's so sorry and redeemed himself" Yep fair enough good sir welcome to heaven am i right ? And i didn't really like Emily either she was acting way too kind and friendly as weird as it sounds. I understand her anger about the extermination and the fact sera hid it from her but still they're in hell for a reason and extermination wasn't planned for sick entertainement ar the begining of it until Adam made it a goddamn entertainement game. Emily acted as if people in hell weren't horrible people maybe not all of them are THAT awful but most are killers, rapists, pedophiles, terrorists, zoophiles or human traffickants, mafia members drug dealers or something.

I get the point of the serie is to show heaven's rules aren't truly black and white since Adam remained on heaven until his defeat and it was insinuated that once in heaven "angels Can Do whatever and remain in the Sky" and sounds selfish and not logical, but shit like Charlie didn't think anything through at no point, she brought drawings to a meeting with Adam and started singing instead of being serious i know Adam didn't take it seriously either but he isn't the one presenting a huge project that could raise many questions and worries so Charlie didn't prepare anything to prove it wouldn't cause problems. At No point did she think about what heaven citizens would think of it or how they'd react. She just came and spilled all her projects without thinking about what heaven would think.

Like you can't redeem everyone in hell like it's okay they messed up big times in their lives before dying. If i was in heaven After being killed or abused and my killer or abuser just came in heaven with a Big smile like "i was redeemed i'm sorry for hurting you" i'd be pissed like you ruined my life but i gotta face you for all eternity ? Great thanks love this.

And Charlie is the princess of hell but is disrepected and mocked like girl ? You're the princess use your powers ? Authority ? I know she thinks it's mean but she's in hell like people ARE mean and bad people ? I don't know it's frustrating. She has to be like one of the strongest beings in heaven and hell but she holds back because she doesn't want to hurt anyone ? Girl sinners can't die unless you use angelic weapons. Even against Adam she held back, for proof her father had to help and only when he was attacked she actually used more power and managed to hit Adam. And i don't think that the life or death adrenaline was what gave her this power she's the princess of hell she can't be that weak compared to Adam. I'm pretty sure she's just hella strong but never uses her powers to appear nicer and less threatening.

I don't know maybe Season 2 will do better.

Levi props himself up with one elbow and stares down at Evelyn, she was still embarrassed because of her behaviour earlier, she had promised not to let Levi know that he could make her feel good. His fingers caressed her cheek, a soft smile playing on his lips as the high of sex still filled him.

"For someone who hates me so much you sure you had no problem taking my dick."

Evelyn glares at him with indignation but he can't take it seriously with her deep blush.

He chuckles and kisses her forehead. "Maybe now that you realize what I can offer you won't be stupid and try to escape again."

"I won't Levi-" She says quickly.

"Don't play dumb, I know you would try in a heartbeat, which is why in the morning you're coming with me to work. If a fortress can't keep you in check then my boot will." He let that sink in a moment before pulling her close to his chest and falling asleep.

The next day Levi struts proudly into his office, his wife on his arm, he enjoyed all the looks others gave him. He enjoyed the whispers of people who were curious as to who it was married to the famous Captain Levi of the Scouts. To those who knew who Evelyn was it swelled his ego that everyone knew she belonged to him. She was his.

He kept her in check by the firm grip on her arm, and the gear her wore under his uniform. One false move and he would at least threaten to end her life. In reality though he would simply cause her immense pain. Thankfully he didn't think he'd have to do this since she seemed to get the picture. When he brought her into his office he sat her on the small sofa, she was dressed up only for him. Her maroon dress was cut just low enough he could get a glimpse of her cleavage but no one else could, the half sleeves hiding the worst of his bruises, as well as the tea length. She was stunning as always.

After an hour or two he glanced at his watch and then up at her, she was staring at her hands, not daring to move out of place. His chest swelled with pride at her obedience.

"You've been so good," He waves her off nonchalantly. "Go make my tea, no one has been able to replace you in that regard."

Evelyn seems surprised that he would allow her to do that but she didn't need to be told twice. She slowly rises from her chair and exits his office, making her way down the halls to the small officer's kitchen.

Petra had entered the kitchen to start Captain Levi's tea and was caught off guard by Evelyn there beating her to it. Her looks hadn't changed in the slightest, but something in her manner and the way she carried herself definitely had. She wasn't as happy as she used to be, optimistic, and her ever present smile was gone. If this was the case then it made sense why Levi had shown no interest in Petra, clearly Levi desired that moody and brooding personality more than a cheerful one. Although it would be annoying now that Petra would have to change her personality again to match Evelyn's in hopes of getting Levi's attention.

Since Evelyn wouldn't strike up conversation first like she normally did Petra was forced to at least try and be polite. "I can make his tea."

"No thank you, I've got it." Even Evelyn's voice was quieter, like she had closed in on herself. This could be a good thing though, a boring girl would never keep the Captain's interest.

"Since you retired I've kind of taken over doing it, he's very particular and I'm sure you don't remember how."

"I didn't retire Petra, I've just been taken temporarily off active duty. Which means, I still have rank over you and can decide who makes Levi his damn tea."

Goodness was she infuriating, it was if she knew deep down what Petra was planning.

"I just think you should relax and not exert yourself, I don't think you know how much he cares about his tea."

Evelyn places the cups on the tray with a fake smile. "Oh trust me I know."

Petra feels herself losing the argument so she grabs the tray. "I insist, let me." She tries to hold back the venom in the words.

"I said I've got it." Evelyn tries to pull it back a little but not enough to spill it.

"It's easy Evelyn, just give it over-"

Evelyn huffs and pushes the tray towards her. "Be my guest, you can have him." She turns on her heel and walks out.

Levi looks up as Petra enters with his tea, confusion coming to his face. "Where is my wife?"

"Evelyn said she just had to go to the bathroom so I made your tea for you so it wouldn't be late."

Levi picks it up gingerly and tastes it, maybe Petra had been paying attention finally since this time it tasted like it should. "Thank you Petra."

Part of him worried what would happen if he wasn't watching Evelyn, but he was sure she wouldn't get into too much trouble.

Evelyn hurried down the halls as quickly as her high heels could carry her without looking suspicious or tripping. Thankfully she had been down these halls many times and knew exactly where she was going.

She knocked urgently on Erwin's office door, not letting up until he opened it with his one arm, looking at her surprised.

"Evelyn, this is a surprise, won't you come in."

Evelyn hurries inside, sitting down and collecting herself and catching her breath.

Erwin closes the door and strides back to his desk. "Now. How can I help you? Would you like some tea?"

"No, thank you, I just need to talk."

"Yes of course, what is it?"

"It's Levi, Erwin I don't know what happened to him but he's nothing like you know. He's lying to you, he lied to us both about this marriage. It wasn't just a sham, he consummated it, he made me consummate it Erwin. I didn't have a choice. Since then he's kept me locked away and forced himself on me time and time again. He's obsessed with the idea of getting me pregnant and loses his mind if anyone who's a man looks at me. I tried to escape once and he threatened to beat me senseless. And while he hasn't done it to the point of senselessness he has beaten me many times if I "talk back" or "misbehave". I need help Erwin, and you and Hange are the only ones I have to turn to. I know Hange can't do anything but as Commander of the Scouts you can, you can arrest him, court martial him, the whole nine yards. Please Erwin, I need you to help me, I'm begging you to believe me. I know it sounds crazy from the Levi we know but I'm telling you it's true. Please just, believe me."

Erwin is silent for a long moment, so long Evelyn's heart is pounding in her ears. The silence stretches on longer still until finally Erwin straightens up and leans towards her over the desk.

"I believe you." Was all he said.

Her eyes brighten. "You do? You don't question it? Oh thank you Erwin- thank you so much-"

He nods, standing. "I think I know what's best for you. If you follow me everything will be alright."

Gratefully she stands and follows him, trying to be as inconspicuous as possible to avoid drawing attention to herself. She puts her trust in him completely.

Finally they come to a door and he opens it, making Evelyn stop in confusion. "But wait this is Levi's office-"

He looks down at her coldly. "Yes it is." He says before shoving her inside.

Levi looks up with first confusion and then annoyance. "What is this?"

Erwin blocks her escape. "It seems we weren't clear in our deal Levi, control your wife. She came to my office begging for freedom. Control her or lose her." He turns quickly and leaves.

Levi turns his attention to her. "What am I going to do with you?"

i hate the sparks fly episode of mighty med

i truly do (there is a very lengthy rant under the cut, you have been warned)

1. i despise oliver's relationship advice: "you have to become friends first and then gradually transition into something more" like babes let's not promote going into friendships solely to date someone

2. spark is so toxic. kaz answered a call from his mother and she flipped out and it's mentioned in passing that she threatened kaz so he wouldn't break up with her.

i know that it's a kids show and that they don't want me to take it so seriously but young kids shouldn't grow up with abusive relationships being written like this in media (specifically if, like in mm, the abuser is treated as the true victim) or else they'll think that it's okay to be treated/treat others this way. kids are impressionable and they follow what they see (mm was more of a tween show but young kids could obviously still find a way to watch it)

3. and now on to the biggest problem i have with the episode, the entire episode treats kaz as the villain and spark as the victim. (villain could be a reach but the episode definitely doesn't treat kaz like he's in the right)

as i mentioned before spark was a toxic girlfriend (she also was low-key a love bomber but i'll move on) and kaz was visibly terrified of her. he had to get out of the relationship and because he thought she would kill him if he broke up with her, he faked his death (WHAT ELSE WAS HE SUPPOSED TO DO). spark finds out that he's not actually dead and powers up, kaz assumes that she's gonna kill him cause ya'know that's what she said she'd do, instead she starts crying and runs out of mighty med. now everyone is mad at kaz for lying to her and making her cry.

let's over simplify the entire situation:

boy asks girl out

girl accepts and takes the boy on a date

girl shows intense jealousy, attempting to destroy the boy's property in the process

boy starts to regret his decision to ask out the girl

boy later mentions the girl threatening to kill him if he attempts to break up with her

boy's friend minimizes the situation

boy decides to take drastic measures to escape the girl

boy's friend tries to guilt him into feeling bad about taking drastic measures and initially refuses to help his friend get out of an abusive relationship

boy has to blackmail his friend into helping

the drastic measure ends up not working and the girl gets angry at the boy

boy fears for his life and prepares to be hurt

girl then cries and spins the story around to make him seem like the problem

boy's friend tries to make the boy feel bad for making the girl cry

girl is heartbroken by the breakup and cannot function properly

boy's friend makes the boy rekindle the girl's broken heart so she can function again

boy ends up blaming himself for her heartbreak to no avail

boy's friend makes the girl feel better, dissing the boy in the process

girl can function again

girl disses the boy multiple times before leaving him and boy's friend

now that you've read all that...WHAT THE HELL???

kaz was so not in the wrong for faking his death, im sorry, he just wasn't

even if spark's threat was empty, kaz surely believed it and feared for his life. and oliver, who's supposed to be kaz' best friend was just gonna let him stay in an abusive relationship because spark's feelings could be hurt and it would be rude to lie to her.

if i were kaz, i would drop oliver right then and there and never talk to him again (them being terrible best friends is a rant for a different day) but i digress

also kaz having to take the blame for spark's heartbreak and apologize for hurting her feelings so she could fight nightstrike would be like if an abuser couldn't do their job as a police officer and the ex-partner had to publicly apologize for breaking up with them so they could capture some robbers

that evening, rina bid farewell to hao without discussing the confrontation she had with hyemi and haemin. she avoided contemplating the potential consequences of her actions, realizing that no positive outcome seemed likely. despite her certainty that she would never reveal confidential information to them, she remained on the fence about the possibility of cutting contact with him.

hao observed a shift in her demeanor that evening. it appeared as though her thoughts were elsewhere. whenever he attempted to approach her, she withdrew. each time he asked her about her well-being, she simply shrugged. she longed to confide in him, but with his packed schedule, she hesitated to burden him further. despite his numerous commitments, he chose to dedicate his free day to her, and she was reluctant to spoil it for him.

it had been three weeks since they had last seen each other. rina continued working at the store, while hao fulfilled his idol duties. they texted each other the mandatory good morning and good night, without any teasing or jokes like they usually did. it started with rina's texts getting dry as she had something else in mind, then it became intentional.

on hao's end, he interpreted it as her losing interest in the relationship. he blamed his idol schedule for keeping him away from her. no matter how many times he asked her what was wrong, she assured him that she was fine and everything was okay. he never believed her, but he left it alone.

as for haemin and hyemi, they were frustrated with the state of the two's relationship. they couldn't get any dirt on hao if rina wasn't seeing him. they left rina alone in hopes of her thinking they weren't keeping an eye on her, but they got nothing from it.

"rina," hao spoke through the phone. he gave rina a call while she walked home from work.

"hi hao, what are you doing tonight?"

"nothing, you?"

"nothing."

the line was silent for a moment. "great, i'll come to your apartment."

"no!" rina responded a little too fast.

hao tried to mask the lump in his throat with a sly comment, "you got a guy over, or what?"

"hao, don't you have your comeback showcase tomorrow? you should rest well."

"rina, seriously what is wrong? did i do something bad? please tell me so i can fix it." he sounded devastated.

"you didn't do anything wrong. i'll explain it to you, but i don't think now is the right time. you shouldn't be stressed." rina's heart ached for him. she didn't know that he blamed himself for her actions.

"be honest with me. just because i'm an idol doesn't mean any conflict in my life will make my head explode. stop treating me different." hao struggled to not raise his voice.

rina stayed quiet for a while. this is exactly what she didn't want.

"we can't see each other in person for now, we have to be careful."

"why? did someone figure us out?"

"it's haemin and her friend, and they threatened to expose us if i don't give her information. i didn't want to tell you because i thought i should just handle it myself."

"how would you even handle it yourself? why wouldn't you just tell me this in the first place?"

the thing is, rina could ask herself that same question. if there's one thing she hated the most in life, it was conflict. the moment haemin and hyemi brought conflict to their relationship, she felt like it was over. she couldn't handle the anxiety of maintaining a relationship with a popular idol, especially now when there is people close to her trying to take them down.

"i don't want you to have problems, that's all," her voice just above a whisper.

"were you going to break up with me?"

rina didn't want to answer that question, it was quite obvious she was pulling away to soften the blow, she just didn't want to admit it. admitting it would make her come to terms with the fact that she was never ready for this relationship in the first place. she would also have to admit that she is not always rational.

"i guess i'll take your silence as a yes." and with that, he hung up on her.

Right from the beginning, Dr Sharon singles Ted out from the rest of the group. Everyone in that room (except Higgins) needs therapy, but Dr Sharon only focuses on Ted. Nate doesn't say anything and Beard is hiding in the corner. All the focus is on Ted.

Is Ted good at his job? Depends which part you're talking about. He's a crap football coach, but when it comes to helping people be their best, yeah he's damn good at that. Now if he was coaching American Football, he'd probably be great at that too. But the good thing about Ted is that he accepts help from others who know more than him, and isn't afraid to admit he needs it. Except when it comes to therapy.

Ted definitely feels kind of threatened by Dr Sharon. He's usually the one trying to help people and now someone else is doing it.

John might be fine, but Rebecca should want more than that. I love her epiphany on what she wants in a relationship. She went out with John because he's a nice, safe option. He probably won't hurt her. But that means she isn't getting what she really wants which is passion and vulnerability. She wants the opposite of Rupert, but also the opposite of John. Someone who won't hurt her, but isn't so safe that she is bored and settling.

John caught on quick to what was happing, but it's good that he's not bitter about it. And he's does find someone who is better suited for him than Rebecca, so he's happy in the end. It all works out.

Dani is singing again! We love to see and hear it. Even Ted crosses his fingers this time. No more yips for Dani though. FOOTBALL IS LIFE AGAIN!

Now everyone wants to see Dr Sharon. There's only so much Ted can do before a professional needs to come in. He can't help solve all their problems, but Dr Sharon can help in ways he can't. Ted just feels a little left out because he's always been that person to help people, despite the fact that he's the one that needs the most help.

Finished the first episode of Dead Boy Detectives, my thoughts?

I n s u b s t a n t i a l

The epidose feels SO RUSHED and who gives a shit? Who gives a shit about a girl talking alone in the streets, who gives a shit about the parents, who gives a shit about anything.

Feels so, so rushed. There's barely any time to address any of the things happening. 5 seconds to talk about David, 5 seconds to care about the grieving parents, 5 seconds to explore the Which house. And of course nothing is addressed in serious or meaningful way.

Edwin died? 5 seconds. Take it or leave it. The fight with the Witch? We need to move on, 5 seconds and that's it.

Like seriously I get that being a pilot you need to do exposition and keep things started but come on, the episode in Doom Patrol was ONE EPISODE and did it pretty fine. This is THEIR series first episode and somehow if feels flimsier than the other one. Nothing has a meaningful impact. Just by showing me some insubstantial flashbacks of AN ADORABLE GIRL and some TEARS I'm not gonna feel moved by the mother's pain. And that's pretty bad because you want it to matter, you want the missing case to matter because that was the whole point. That they're here because they cared about a missing girl.

No one gives a damn, cham. Give the parents 5 seconds and move on. Give Crystal 5 seconds to shout about David and move on. Nothings is addressed with actual care but the show insists in HOW much you should care about them because they're gonna matter later. Probably.

Like Crystal memories, we saw barely any emotion. She didn't questioned it or said anything beyond "give 'em back! >:/". And that was it. Amazing.

Also the Witch is another fucking can of worms, innit? Hhashahsa. ARE YOU TELLING ME they went directly into a Witch's house? This is exactly what I mean about the poor exposition and the "show, don't tell". Edwin told a morbid story about a TERRIBLE WITCH but then, they went into the house hust like that. JUST LIKE THAT. No magic protections no magic boundaries, NOTHING.

Somehow this terrible Witch that we should care about because she's the deal at hand, the baddie of turn, the villain material who kidnapped a girl that she should care about (because she's a girl... and she's little... and that's it) has the most SAD and SLOPPY home defense ever hahsahsa. BUT YOU'RE RIGHT EDWIN, WITCHES ARE MONSTERS but hey what a fucking chance that you found the most pathetic one of them all. Did she did anything actually frightening? She paralysed and threatened a girl, and kidnapped another one. And... that's it.

Like I can gaslight myself into thinking "WELL, maybe she didn't have any protections because she was living her life in a quiet and nice neighborhood. No one suspects anything and there are no ghosts or other witches to watch out for, only common folks that represent no threat to me, an innocent lady" but that's A ME RAMBLE, the show didn't tell this! They probably didn't even think about it because whoooooooo careeeeeeeeeeeees!

She was quite a perv but nothing else. Do you see what I mean? SHE DID NOTHING than a normal perv wouldn't do. She was cunty (and that was nice) but then what? The most flimsiest bitch ever too because the ghost of a teenager possesed her with 0 problems ahshas. Her, an adult and apparently very VERY old witch taking in account the massive mountain of shoes. Our powerful and fearsome lady did some jokes and was possesed by the ghost of a teen just like that.

No one gives a shit, that's the veredict. Insubstantial. A lot of words about HOW IMPORTANT but then... nothing. Like seriously. They gave Charles' parents like 10 seconds to appear and nothing else. Take your first episode AND FOCUS IN DOING SOME GOOD EXPOSITION. I don't care about the Witch nor the girl or David. Take your FUCKING TIME and adress every character with genuine care. And I'm sure there's at least 1 episode focused in each one's backstory. I'm not talking about that.

I'm talking about giving an actual damn about what is happening. You need information from the parents of the missing girl? Go to their home and present them to us. Let me hear a sappy story from the mother, let me se some photos, let me care about this little girl and feel how heartbroken is this little family in this little town. Show me how the disappearance has consequences on them. I WANT TO CARE, BUT YOU NEED TO MAKE IT MATTER.

Then again this is the PILOT, I'm putting all my money in horse "Episode Two".

Sugar Punch - Chapter 35

There was something about today, that made me more on edge than usual but I didn't know what it was.

I've been back for two weeks now and I've been seeing Theo whenever I have time and although we're still very new to this, I think it's going well.

I know it's going well.

The problem is that whenever I was with Theo, something or someone would always interrupt our time together and it was becoming a problem, now more so than ever as my schedule became busier.

It's only been three days and I miss him.

I had some time while Theo was currently in class, so I hit the gym with Jordan and Mikkal, Jordan's younger brother who was a boxer around the same age as Theo was.

"Mads, Aiden's out back asking for you," Mikkal said, coming into the weight room.

Aiden?

So, the little shit finally came back to me with his tail between his legs, I didn't expect anything less from him, as soon as he needs something from me, he always comes back.

Let's just get this over this.

I got up from the bench and looked over to the door and saw a blonde waiting by the door with her back faced towards me and then I saw Aiden as he whispered something into her ear and made her laugh.

Once I opened the door their eyes met mine and whilst Aiden smiled, the girl who I didn't recognise simply stared at me in awe, irritating me further.

"I'll call you tonight, yeah?" Aiden said down to the girl, as her eyes went from mine to Aiden's.

"O-Okay, bye Aiden," she said, as she practically skipped down the hallway.

Looking at him now, it's been two weeks since I've seen his face and even, I could tell that he wasn't looking after himself, he looked like shit and almost like he just crawled out of bed and then put his gym gear on.

"Can we talk?"

I sigh and look at the time on my sports watch, seeing that it was almost time for me to go to a photoshoot downtown and I hadn't finished my work out yet.

"Make it quick, I've got shit to do Aiden," I tell him as he takes a step back and leans against the wall, crossing his arms.

"Are you... still seeing him?" he asks. "The kid?"

The kid... is this why he's come to me now?

"He's nineteen and his name is Theo, not 'the kid'."

His eyes harden and his jaw clenches and I can tell the fact I was still seeing Theo upset him, for what reason I didn't give a shit, it was simply none of his business.

I grab the door handle and go to open it.

"If that's all..."

"End it with him or I'm going to make it public."

I froze in my step and turned around to look at him, to see him staring at his shoes, before his eyes meet mine, his stoic emotionless face looking at me without a care on his face.

What did he just say to me?

"I have nothing against... Theo and I'm down with the gay shit, just... end it with him, before you ruin your career for him," he said, as I felt my eye twitch.

Leave... him?

Leave Theo?

"No." I looked down at him, as his eyes widen. "Go public with my personal life and I'll ruin your life Aiden, being cousins will mean nothing to me, as I take it all away from you."

"Hah..." he sighs, moving from the wall to stand in front of me. "You're making a big mistake, Maddox. I'm serious about this, I'll go to the press..."

I reach out and wrap my hand around his neck, I push him back and slam his back into the wall behind him as I stop him from whacking my hand away as I hold him in a position that was impossible to escape from.

"You think you scared me just now, Aiden?" I spat out, inches from his face as I glared down at him in pity as his eyes widen. "Wrong," I laugh quietly as he tried once more to get out of my hold.

I tighten my hold around his neck and make him look at me in the eye.

"Do you think coming here and threatening me would work? What... because I'm your cousin I wouldn't hurt you?"

"Haah..." I closed my eyes and chuckled.

Seriously...

I looked him dead in the eye and tightened my hand around his neck until his face started to go red, making him desperately try to get out of my hold now as his eyes filled with tears, only when I didn't want to look at his face anymore, I released my grip and let him go.

Aiden fell to the floor as his shaking hands went to his neck as he tried to gasp for breath, I knelt down in front of him making him flinch as I stared at him, his eyes filled with tears and fear, as he looked back at me.

"Theo's mine… threaten me again and I'll kill you, talk to the press and I'll kill you, stand in front of me again and I'll kill you."

Not wanting this to drag out, as I had things to do, I stood back up and looked at him one more time, he wasn't crying anymore but he looked as though he also wanted to kill me, the fear in his eyes was gone and all that was left was hate.

"I-I'm the only family y-you got," he coughs, his eyes glaring up at me. "Once he sees w-who you are, he'll leave y-you, people don't change, y-you can't change, he'll see you... for what you are. A fucking m-murderer."

"Shut… up."

I didn't have to listen to this, it wasn't true, I didn't...

Aiden starts to laugh out and cough as he got himself up from the floor, his hand on his neck as his glaring eyes look back at me, with the same hate I feel for him.

"You didn't tell him, s-so what? You just fuck him and it's all good?... Good luck with that, cousin," he smirked out, as I could feel my body tense. "I'll give you a week... then I'm going public with everything," he said, as I snapped my eyes back to him.

Fucking Aiden, of all the years and the times he's had to test me and he chooses to do it now, when I've finally found something worth fighting for.

"It's not fucking money so what do you want?" I snap out, as he smiles at me.

"You think I also have a choice here, Maddox? Just... do it, he'll get over it, if it's just sex for you then you'll find someone else."

With that he turns around and walks away, through the double doors leading into the main building of the gym, where everyone else is working out.

My heart starts beating wildly in my chest as I clench my eyes shut and go over everything, he just said to me, my head begins to hurt as I picture Theo's crying face in my head.

Leave him...?

What world does Aiden think he's living in, telling me what to do?

Like it's so simple to just leave someone I'm falling, no...

I'm not leaving Theo and he's not leaving me, I'm happy...

Aiden gets nothing out of this, so the big question is... who is threatening Aiden?

There is no way he would have the balls to come here today and threaten me, unless he himself was being held over the words of someone else.

I grab my phone from my pocket and look for Theo's name on my contacts and quickly send him a text, my chest tightening as I see his last text, with a heart next to it, as he said 'good luck with your workout, see you tonight'.

Maddox: I can't do tonight, something came up.

I turn my phone off and lean against the wall and grip my head in my hands and sigh out, going over all the options I have in my head before I go to Aiden's house and break the shit out of him and force him to tell me whose blackmailing him.

Pixie... when was the last time I saw her?

Four?

No, five years ago and the last time I saw her she was getting the help she needed, I made sure of it and the last time I heard about her, she got married...

Married... and with a little girl, it's what she's always wanted, as soon as I heard about it, I kept as far as way from her as possible, having already done enough damage in my youth, it was too hard to see her face after what happened, eight years ago.

She's doing well, she's got nothing on me, what happened eight years ago was dealt with, I have nothing to be afraid of, what happened to him wasn't my fault.

It wasn't my fault... so, what more did Aiden have on me?

There's no hiding that once I grew more popular, and well known, with cash in my bank and assets to my name, I became reckless, I drank hard and partied harder but I've never hurt anyone, I had no baby mama's haunting me for a check.

So, Aiden... what do you have on me?

I moved from the wall and went back into the weight room, where I saw Mikkal and Jordan talking to each other as they both drank from their water bottles.

Walking over to them, Jordan spots me first.

"Mads, I heard Aiden was here, did you talk to him?"

"Something like that," is all I said, before I lean down and grab my gym bag beside a machine, with my keys and wallet inside.

"Woah, where are you going? We still have twenty minutes left," Mikkal said, as I swallowed hard.

"Sorry, something came up, next time yeah?" I said, forcing a smile at Mikkal, as Aiden's eyes harden.

I head for the exit and as I leave through the door, I feel someone grab the back of my shoulder, making me turn around to see that it's Jordan closing the door behind him and looking at me with worry in his eyes.

"What's happened?" he asked, searching my face for answers. "You were fine before Aiden showed up. What did he say to you?"

I moved his hand from my shoulder and took a deep breath, my head feeling as though it's filling up with air as I tried to calm my racing heart.

Jordan... I trusted him but he knew nothing of my past, of what I did and have done, what I was like before I became professional, he only knew what I told him, that my life wasn't easy and something I had to do things...

That's it… Fuck, why didn't I realize this sooner?

"Fuck," I hissed out, feeling sick to my stomach as I think about how long it's been.

Eight years... nine... shit, it really had been nine years since I saw him, he should be out now and if he's out... I knew that he'd come looking for me, after what I did to him that got him locked up in the first place.

If it wasn't her... then it was him... but there's no way, he's not allowed to contact me but if he's using Aiden to get to me, then it's going to become a bigger issue then Aiden just telling the press that I'm dating a fucking guy.

No... this is deeper than that.

I gripped my forehead and closed my eyes, my head starting to pound as I try to control myself, and not come to any conclusion before I get the facts... first things first.

I needed to know why I wasn't informed of his release and I needed to know how he found out about Theo, I needed to work quick because if something happened to him because of me...

I'll kill them all.

"Can you... take me somewhere?" I force, my headache is now a full-blown migraine, hammering away at my skull.

"Huh?" Jorden mumbled, as I opened my eyes to look at him. "Where to? You're freaking me out here, man..."

Ross Kench... if that fucker is coming for me, I need to keep Theo as far away from me as possible... but now, now I knew why Aiden said what he did and now I'm realizing what it means.

I had to end things with Theo, to keep him safe and far away from what was coming.

I had to make the first move and get to him before any of this got worse.

If I knew him... and I like to think I knew him really well, then I know exactly where he's at and how to find him and having no other options, I had to go.

Scaremongering

Harris turned up around noon. The private eye was shabby as ever, his brown overcoat in desperate need of a wash, his gait and breath both tainted by the whisky of the night before, or perhaps even this morning. For a professional investigator, he was hardly without tells of his own, and any suspect would be able to draw as many deductions about his own life as he would about theirs.

At first, Clara had wondered if it was all an act, to lure them into underestimating him... but over the past few weeks she'd had the full measure of the man, and he was definitely always a few measures worse for wear. She paid him, but that was where the 'professional' part of his description ceased; he had once been a real detective, but the cops had let him go after the drinking interfered with his work, and it seemed he'd let himself go after that.

"So, what have you got for me?" she asked, once they were seated at the dining table. "Anyone coming for my head?"

The question was meant literally. When Clara had hired Harris for his services, she'd handed him a printed letter posted through her door, threatening to decapitate her in the next few weeks - if she didn't take her own life first. There was no demand for money, nor for anything else, just a simple heads up that hers would soon be detached from her body, and a suggestion that she save them both the trouble.

Harris, to give him credit, had advised she go to the police, but Clara had explained that she didn't trust them any more. The particular focus on decapitation, though oddly specific to outside eyes, had a certain disquieting significance to those who knew her best. She told him her parents had been killed that way, when she and her sister were very young. The police hadn't found the murderer then, and she wasn't about to rely on them now.

"They wouldn't take it seriously," she said. "They'd say it's just scaremongering, you know? Somebody trying to frighten me, never seriously intending to actually follow through, but hoping a little pressure might push me into doing what they want. But it has to be more. Only a handful of people know the detail of what happened to my parents, and they all know that I'm not one to be threatened. This has to be for real."

Harris took the case. He didn't get to work homicides any more, and this might be the closest he would ever come again: approaching the problem from the opposite side, before the crime had been committed. It was those who knew her best, that handful, who formed the pool of suspects, and he'd been looking into them over the past fortnight, the run-up to the deadline for her death.

"Should we start with your husband?"

"Sure," she said. "Cherche l'homme, and all that. Is he trying to exploit that old 'til death' loophole?"

"I scoped out his surgery. He's been seeing a lot of one of his patients, in more ways than one."

"How original. An affair?"

Harris nodded. "From what I can tell, her partner was physically abusive. She was too afraid to tell anybody, but your husband figured it out, after treating her for one too many accidents. He became her only confidant - and together they planned her escape."

"Of course." Clara rolled her eyes. "He always has to play the saint, even in the act of adultery. I suppose there was no way of helping her without sleeping with her too. So you think he wants me out of the picture?"

"I'm not so sure that he's our guy. I confronted her about it, and apparently he'd insisted they were honest about it, filing for divorce and then marrying her. It was just difficult, because of the sensitive situation with her own partner. They were having to bide their time. I learnt that too late."

"And he wanted to get his hands on my inheritance, of course." Clara said. "The prenup we signed precludes cheating. What else? What do you mean, too late?"

"I... if you'd sent me to investigate the affair, not stumbled across it in pursuit of something else, I might have gone about it another way. I'm sorry to report that the woman's husband found out. Whether due to my actions or not, I fear some responsibility falls at my door. She's gone missing."

"Hey, come on," she consoled him, not seeming too concerned herself. "You can't blame yourself for the actions of a monster."

"Or his reactions," Harris said. "Perhaps not. But if I had known more, perhaps I could have been... more delicate. Met with her discretely, rather than raising questions at her home."

"I'm sure you were perfectly delicate," Clara said. In fact, she had been counting that he wouldn't be. Like the stale stench of whiskey on his breath, Harris's reputation preceded him. He wasn't an inconsiderate man, but he was... clumsy. Not as sharp as a sober man might be. There might not be any malice there, but a doctor with a blunt scalpel lost a lot of patients.

"Onto the money, then. What about my sister? With me out of the way, she stands to inherit the lot."

"Again, she doesn't seem a likely suspect," Harris told her. "I spoke to her, but she seemed genuinely shocked to hear about the threat. More than shocked, really."

"That's understandable. The death of our parents hit her hard. Well, me too - but she was the one who found the headless bodies, you know? She was only young, and it derailed her life after that, until recently. Drink and substance abuse. She only got sober in the last few years because our grandmother made it a condition of her will."

"The grandmother you're both now inheriting from?"

"That's right."

"Ah." He paused, seeing his actions in an unflattering new light. "Again, if you'd let me know this in advance, I could have approached her differently, rather than telling her all the detail - with her trauma, I can understand the nature of the threat against you impacting her the way it did."

"What happened?"

"She started acting oddly and took off, so I followed her, but that probably only made it worse." Harris sounded unhappy to have been the cause of so much suffering, especially as he'd taken this job to prevent it. "I think she's relapsed, I'm afraid. At least, that was how it looked when I left her. The mention of the threat seems to have triggered something. With that in mind, I certainly don't think she'd be capable of carrying out a copycat crime."

"You see why she was a suspect, though, right?" Clara asked. "Not only the massive financial incentive, but she knew how our parents were killed. Not many people did. I certainly didn't tell anyone, other than my husband, which is why he's the only other suspect. I can't imagine that she did, if this is how she reacts to a reminder. If it's neither of them, who else could it be?"

"There's one other person who knew," he told her.

"Oh?" For the first time in their conversation, Clara grew noticeably tense. Harris had been sweating over the bad news he had to deliver on her husband and sister, but she'd been fairly composed through all of that. No longer.

"Your parents' killer. I'm sorry to tell you this, but they could genuinely be back."

She relaxed again. "Oh, don't worry about that. It's been decades, and I've long since stopped thinking they'll return to finish the job. Besides, there's nothing we can do about it. The police had no leads when they would have been fresh, so I don't expect you to solve a decades' old cold case."

"Of course," Harris said, although he did have one theory.

"Even if they did, I hardly think they're likely to give me warning in advance. As I said, I think we have to focus on my husband and my sister."

"Which is what you sent me to do. That's worked out quite nicely for you, hasn't it?"

"Well, you certainly seem to have eliminated everybody with a motive from actually intending to kill me. I suppose I can sleep soundly tonight, safe in the knowledge it can only be a hoax."

"I came to a similar conclusion, yes. But there's one more person who might have a motive to kill you."

"Who's that?"

Harris reached into his overcoat. He had everything he needed, now. The threat, real or fictional. Enough on the suspects to pick his choice of who to frame. His knowledge of how to tidy up a crime scene. The sense of righteous fury he had kindled over many years, seeing killers go free due to inconsistencies with his paperwork, cut lose when his drinking came to light. The small hatchet he'd picked up from a hardware store on the way here, in case his suspicions were proved correct - together with a hearty dose of Dutch courage.

"A detective who doesn't appreciate being used."

I feel like a redemption arc for Chloé wouldn't have worked since she (1) never expressed any remorse for bullying and harassing people and abusing her father's political power as mayor to do so and have her way. In "Malediktator", Chloé says she feels useless and is upset that everyone hates her... but her feeling useless was NEVER something that was part of the show before and she never acknowledges that everyone hates her because she's been bullying them for years. Like, that's THE reason why no one likes her, but it was never brought up, and (2) she never faces consequences for her actions. Sometimes things don't go her way, but that's not the same thing as facing direct punishment for bullying and harassment and abuse of political power and also for deliberately sabotaging a subway and risking lives to stage a rescue, especially since she continued to be snotty and didn't even care when Ladybug told her why she couldn't have the Bee anymore and still acted entitled to it, even when Hawk Moth had Mayura stake out by her home. If those two things had happened, a redemption for Chloé would have actually been satisfying.

You make a fair point there. While I still wanted a redemption arc for Chloe, it doesn’t mean I thought her betrayal was completely unexpected.

Yeah, she was making small progress in some regards, but like you said, never felt remorseful or got punished for the things she did. Sure, she got some slight comeuppance in some Season 1 episodes and did apologize for some things, but some of the bigger acts of sabotage she took part in during her “arc” starting from Season 2 never really got the backlash they deserved.

When Chloe caused a fake fire alarm to go off in “Despair Bear”, Adrien did threaten to end their friendship by simply telling her to be nice and never helping her, but as soon as he let her off the hook by the end of the episode, she went back to being mean and Adrien simply laughed it off, showing he really didn’t care about their “friendship” that much.

When Chloe sabotaged Marinette’s gift to Ms. Bustier in “Zombizou”, Ms. Bustier decided to treat it like it was a gift to from the two of them while never punishing Chloe for ruining the gift in the first place and literally expecting Marinette to set a good example for Chloe instead. Fun fact: I’m currently studying to be a teacher, and I was told to never show favoritism toward my students or place any of them on a pedestal in an entry-level course.

When Chloe essentially tried to Syndrome a train in “Queen Wasp”, Ladybug got more blame for losing the Bee Miraculous in the first place (it was knocked out of her hands and she didn’t have time to look for it), and compared the potential vehicular manslaughter to Ladybug’s mistake before portraying Chloe making up with her emotionally abusive mother as a good thing. And I’m sure that won’t give viewers the wrong idea at all.

When Chloe had to be told Queen Bee was being benched in “Miraculer”, it wasn’t because of how awful she is in her civilian life, but rather, because her identity is public knowledge. Yeah, that’s still a good reason as “Heroes Day” and the very same episode prove with Hawkmoth targeting her loved ones, but the episode frames it like that’s the only reason. And of course, because nobody ever decided to simply tell Chloe it would be highly unlikely she would be Queen Bee again, she continued to delude herself by demanding to get the Bee Miraculous back to the point where it was a running gag until the Season 3 finale was like “actually, you were supposed to take these scenes seriously and you’re a terrible person for thinking otherwise”. 

“Queen Wasp” in particular was a deal-breaker for some fans who wanted a Chloe redemption arc, but a lot of other fans, myself included, were hoping that they would all lead to a big payoff where she realized the error of her ways, and vowed to change. Instead, we got smeckledorfed by the writers and insulted by Astruc for daring to have hope she would change for almost a year and a half. The fact that sabotaging a movie production in “Queen Banana” was the cardinal sin that convinced Chloe’s father and Adrien to put their feet down and not any of the earlier examples shows how confusing the writing is when it comes to portraying reactions to Chloe’s actions.

The problem with all of these episodes was that nobody ever sat down and simply confronted Chloe with the fact that as much as she thinks she’s an amazing person, she takes pleasure in hurting others by abusing her power. All they do is either tell her to be nicer and say she can be nicer without doing much. The most we got was the butler in “Despair Bear” who came across more like she was mocking Chloe instead of actually helping her to improve.

Yes, a positive influence can help a character turn over a new leaf, but they need to work with said character and help them grow and not just tell them to do better. Enabling them will only make things worse. I know everyone on the planet loves this character and the role he played in the story, but Iroh was pivotal to Zuko’s character development not just because he helped to encourage him to break away from his father’s influence, but because he wasn’t afraid to call Zuko out on some of his actions, especially at the end of Book 2. He was a mentor who understood how troubled Zuko was, and wanted to do everything he can to help his nephew, despite the trouble he would go through in his journey to self-improvement. Even when separated in Book 3, you can still see Iroh’s imparted wisdom in Zuko with how he interacts with the other characters after he joins the team, with Zuko himself regretting how he sold Iroh out to the Fire Nation.

I’m not trying to say that Chloe herself isn’t to blame for how things turned out either. Her actions at the end of Season 3 felt appropriate, as frustrating as they were in the long run, because her ego went unchecked. I’m not just frustrated that so much time was wasted, but because the biggest reason Chloe turned out this way was a failure to communicate with her and anyone who actually bothered to help her. 

Of course, Astruc made it clear that any attempts to actually bother helping Chloe were pointless a year ago and keeps doing so to this day.

Hey Prof, I need your advice.

My sister recently decided she didn't wanted her bulbasaur anymore (she got him on a whim about a month ago) and gave him to me, he is quite violent and tends to attack when I try to get close to him.

Now, that wouldn't be a huge problem, but my Purrloin has gotten hurt trying to befriend him, she's quite outgoing and never really liked fighting (we enjoy contests so she knows a few more flashy attacks), so she couldn't even defend herself properly.

I don't want to give up on him and my local rescue center is filled with Bunearies (you know, after Easter kids don't want their Bunny anymore) so they can't take him in right now, any advice in how I can go about this situation?

Sounds to me like you have a tricky little dude on your hands. So you're not battle orientated which will make this harder, Bulbasaur in the wild are actually quite combat minded to defend their families and territory, and a lot of their herds consist of strict hierarchy based on power and skill, often led by older, fully evolved members of their group. 

Before you take any actions to befriend them, its worth noting that any pokemon who comes into your care showing aggression is usually doing so for one or two reasons that are pretty universal for any species. Fear being the main issue with pokemon who have been ditched, if a pokemon is unwell, if it feels exposed, if it is unsure of you or your home, your partners, it may lash out because it is afraid. Even what looks like pure anger can stem from a fear. Of course some individuals are just full of rage, its not unheard of, but for the most part it comes from somewhere else. 

For a moment, take the time to put yourself in this pokemons shoes. It was chosen, with hopes and ambitions of its own, by your sister, a stranger to them, and for whatever reason they were cast aside. This reason may be unclear to the pokemon, it may be unfair, unkind, or even without malice just out of pure indifference. No matter the reason, this pokemon has been left behind by a trainer it at one point probably wanted to try to get along with. I don’t know what your sister may or may not have done, or provided for the bulbasaur, but it will help you understand how its feeling, if you were to ask her about their relationship prior to you receiving the pokemon. If it has always been aggressive and angry, i’d seriously consider talking to it about release, not rehome. 

We humans have a preconceived notion that pokemon are pets and things to keep with us. This may be true for some sure, but not every pokemon wishes to be a captive to a human, they may want more for themselves, and wish for a free life with their own kind. We cannot put our wants and desires above that of the pokemons, so you two need to have a talk, at a respectful distance for safeties sake, to see what the Bulbasaur feels they may want. These are herd pokemon, born and bred to be with their own kind, if not a larger group, if its lonely, if it wants to go home, to start a family, or simply to not be held in a ball as some creature to be owned, then you as its current carer must give it what you can. You can always find another pokemon who wants to be your partner, but you cannot give back lost years to a pokemon who has lived a life its unhappy with. Treat them with respect, and be open and honest. At the end of the day we have a chance to help pokemon, and forcing what we want onto them is a hinderance, and will lead to them feeling unsatisfied and bitter in the long run. 

Some pokemon lash out due to the process of being handed off to someone else, trust is earnt, not always just simply given to whoever holds the pokeball. Remember this as you move forward, and try to keep your other pokemon away from them, Bulbasaur are territorial species, and have to accept pokemon into their families before simply allowing them to come and go freely into their personal space. Despite their grouchy natures at times they usually do have a morally positive compass, and defend with ferocity when they love something. Perhaps in you showing genuine concern for their welfare and future, offering them not what you want, but instead what they want, they may give you a chance to get closer, but take baby steps, and try to be their friend above all else. I bet they're feeling pretty lonely right now. 

Its worth sharing interests with the pokemon, talk about contests, see if they're interested, some pokemon have a predisposition for this, others have no interest and prefer more battle based lives, or even peaceful non-competitive existences. no amount of pressure will change a pokemon’s nature, and some just aren't cut out for the fine art of showmanship that contests require. You can however use powerful attacks in showy ways, so theres always hope that they could enjoy it, if you can work with them to their strengths. 

If possible, work to getting them outdoors, cooping grass types up can lead to stroppy, testing personalities, many thrive in the outdoors, he may need some serious outside time to compensate for the lack of exercise and natural stimulation they may have not been getting prior to your ownership. There are plenty of areas in public that are much like tennis courts, areas of space you can book for a set amount of time too exercise difficult pokemon, these locations are often secure facilities, both outdoors and indoors, to suit a range of species. find one that has outdoor facilities and book a few hours per week to go there, increasing the time whenever possible. This exercise and time with you may help to find common ground, and topics that you and the bulbasaur can bond over. This can be anything from battles, to sun bathing, playing sports, games, swimming, running or digging, and everything in between. Bulbasaur naturally are great foragers and tend to like to snaffle about in long grass and shrubland, hiding treats like berry slices in a secure environment is good enrichment and can tire the pokemon out. a tired pokemon is usually a little less aggressive, having lower energy levels and less want to expend attacks. this process also associated you with something fun, and your scent will be on the treats too, so they'll know you were the one to provide this activity for them.   

I’d also take plenty of time to observe the bulbasaur, as your sister got them on a whim, they probably had no prior knowledge of the species, or how to correctly care for them. In a month, a health complaint could have begun to show, so observe their colouration, feet, walking gait, sleeping patterns, feeding habits, and general behaviour. Excess scratching, heavy breathing, or unusual shaking or moving can suggest a health condition is starting to take form. Most can be helped if caught early, but some illnesses give the pokemon discomfort, and can lead to snappy tempers and irritability. It could be that this individual is in pain, or finding life difficult due to its health, which can cause a lot of hostility as i’m sure anyone would agree. It can suck to be sick!

This species can be won over if you can prove you have a skill of worth to them. This is the case with a lot of pokemon, having respect for something they cannot do, and learning that they need things from you can lead to them at least tolerating us humans. Its a foot in the door. A trick i like t use with particularly difficult bulbasaur is to give them their fav food, whatever it is, then put it in a clear container the pokemon cannot open. They have no thumbs, and their vines though dexterous, aren't able to open every kind of container. The pokemon will want whats inside, and be unable to access it. they will eventually give up out of frustration. this is where you come in. enter the space, don’t let your pokemon approach as this can be threatening, and open the container. leave it on the floor open, making sure they've watched you get the thing open. They can then approach and enjoy their fav food, all thanks to you and those wondrous thumbs you have. repeating this process yields good results, and starts a mutual relationship of tolerance and acceptance between you and a bulbasaur. Most will accept they want the food more than they want you gone, and you provide something they can’t get to. whatever you do, don’t let them see that you were the one to lock the food up in the container. Get a friend to do it, or do it in the room, and leave it in place on the floor, before allowing the bulbasaur to enter and investigate the item. If they see you're the one doing it, the trick is foiled, and your back to square one. Eventually this does tend to lead to the pokemon becoming less stressed with you around them, and eventually it leads to trust, and even friendship. This trick is good to use to get them use to you, once they're ok with you being around them because of your use to them, they may start to take food from you directly, engage in play, or even just sit and tolerate company for short periods of time. Do not expect this to be quick, but it does usually do the trick. 

Regardless, i do have concern that the pokemon may want to be with its own, should you discuss this and find they're not interested in being housebound and a pet, feel free to send them our way, we had exactly this situation in mind when setting up the islands facilities, and have extensive locations designed with grass pokemosn needs at the forefront. Theres a small herd of about 12 bulbasaur evolutions that live north of our labs, no people see them, they are happy as a unit, and are left alone to go about their lives, with the only interactions between humans being us giving them their yearly health check, or should we spot them with an issue, we may intervene. They live away from others and pretty much free, in a poacher safe environment. Its not ideal, we like to keep pokemon in areas they come from, with people who love them, and you show great concern for the pokemon so it would be a shame to have to let them go, BUT sometimes thats just life, and theres nothing to be done about it other than accepting that the pokemons wants come first. They may just be mistrusting so try everything else first, and see how you go. hopefully you’ll yield some results from this all. Good luck out there trainer.

PORTWELL LONG GAME OR RINA SLOWBURN.

We all ship each character with happiness. No matter how much you love to hate them, a majority of us simply adores the characters and want the best for them. Then comes relationships and it's okay to ship our favorites.⛴

I'm a diehard Rina shipper and I know in my heart that they are series endgame. The set up, the natural chemistry, their mutual understanding, the surprises and angst literally put me on chokehold. So I'm 100% a Rina shipper till the end. I'm here for the slowburn and their development rather than one shots. They are worth the pain. 😭❤

Let me start with Ricky Bowen now.

Ricky shouldn't to be with Gina because he's hurting her mentality. He's not insensitive on purpose. Like when he tried to stop Big Red from telling her his message to Nina because he KNOWS it'll hurt her.

If you think, that Ricky didn't understand clearly when Gina confessed, think again. He shushed her. Kept their thing a secret from everyone. He knows he feels some type of way and she feels something too. But this boy is so used to safeguarding his childhood norms and has very little adaptability. Hence, he pretended to ignore everything between them because his home stability was falling apart and he clinged on to Nina, his constant childhood love.

He's a traumatised 16-17 year old boy that needs to heal and grow. This episode was heartbreaking because he had to accept that he had to let Nina go because their once upon a time fairytale had become toxic.

People change. I'm not the same person I was when I was 16 lmao. Being together as childhood lovers means growing together and accepting each other's growth. Which Ricky couldn't. He clutched to the idea of Nini. Even his love confession. It was sooo sweet but all he did was focus on their history.

This boy needs time to heal and maybe seek professional therapy. It would be so DAMN HISTORIC if Disney decides to take psychological issues seriously and show how he's dealing with his anxiety, pills and psychotherapy. He needs to breathe before he can be with any girl for that matter. He's hurting and isn't trying to hurt anyone on purpose. Including Gina.

Him asking her for advice on Nini was a dumb, insensitive move. But he's trying to find a way to build some supportive friendship that they shared in early season one.

As for now, this boy needs to get his own grip on life and heal.

As for our Queen Gina

In Gina's confession, she focuses on their future. She basically said, "I wouldn't quit on a possible future of us being together despite obstacles. Because I never quit. But moving away isn't in my control." Ricky deep down knows this, encouraged her to say it, teary eyed, despite right after getting back together with Nini. Gina is his future. She went to his new house. And I also have this feeling that when she was given a chance to stay, she stayed partly because of Ricky. She left a chance to be with her mom because she prioritised their relationship. Because she never quits. 💪🏼

But she came back and found out Ricky has gotten back together with Nini.😭 What she doesn't know is Ricky got together with Nina before her confession, and after Gina kept dodging his messages. She's hurt and questions why she returned because she isn't particularly close to anyone. Hence, she was so silent at the after party. She thinks it'll be fine, "she'll live", and finds other reasons to find permanence. Her arc this season has been settling down in East High, despite the pain of losing and being 'betrayed' by Ricky, she finds other reasons to stay. 🏡

This kind of contrasts her with Nina. Nina left her dream school and came to Salt Lake because she missed her established home, and not just because of Ricky. Nina returned and was loved and embraced by Ricky Bowen.💕 Gina came back to a semi new place called Salt Lake because of her promise of a future to Ricky. But she got stabbed and she bled. 💔🗡

Think about her situation. She feels confused, alone, heartbroken, out of place and seperated from her mom. She's broken and hurting too. And she doesn't need more from Ricky's accidental or intentional 'sick burns'. That's the one line where he was such a jerk and I can't defend him here. 😠

Here comes the Caswells.

Her second family. A place of healthy stability. A home that accepted her. Ashlyn, her roomie and her confidante. EJ, the misunderstood boy who saw her value and bought her plane ticket.

Let's get to EJ.

At first, I wasn't too keen on seeing Portwell's development. But then that video chat where they talk about the possibility of her staying and him convincing her. Had me sold for a solid brother-sister relationship. Few episodes later, when Gina's pain seemed to be oblivious to everyone, he was the only one who asked her how she was, and saw her glow. The comfort she must've felt.

Not that she needs a man's validation, but she must be feeling like a second choice and feeling a little insecure because of Ricky. But EJ lifts her up and I genuinely saw her smile. This boy has her back whenever. The man she can lean on and truly sees how special she is. She no longer feels alone now that she has his entire fam and other friends. She genuinely feels a place of belonging and happiness when she's the apple of his eye. Notice how happy she is? How happy this boy is? She's going through her own issues and she has found ground with EJ.

I was very doubtful when they started hinting at a romantic direction. Because EJ would be used as plot device again for a girl to get to Ricky.😤 This man doesn't deserve to be second best to anyone, just like Gina.😑 That's why I'm still hesitant on shipping them at least temporarily. EJ needs to be something even more special to Gina. They need to show each other how special and treasured they are to each other despite feeling like rejects. They are each other's source of comfort.

I'm sure they can keep EJ at East High for the next season. Whether it's the drama club, or the AV club or going to a local college. So he will be there for Gina. I don't know how they can work out a relationship with much distance as Rini's fell out when she moved away. So, if EJ leaves again, it'll again shake up Gina. Her being worried whether he'll date college girls, second thoughts, etc. I don't want them to go through that. And if they do move on to romantic Portwell, make sure it's not plot device for Rina. So you can either have Portwell endgame or Rina Endgame.

Basically I want Gina to be treated so right that she understands she doesn't need Ricky. And when he does ask her out, and he makes her feel like a second choice or a rebound, she says NO. Because EJ has helped regain her self assurance. Eventually I want Gina to confide in EJ about her and Ricky. EJ is jealous but also angry about how Ricky has been hurting her. And becomes damn protective of his 'babe'. Ricky gets jealous of their relationship, restarting Ricky and EJ's old rivalry. But this time, it's not because Gina is his girlfriend, but because she's EJ's best friend who he has a crush on and wants what's best for her.

If it's meant to be Rina endgame

EJ- RICKY, YOU IDIOT! You have no clue how to treat her right. You don't put her first. You mislead her. Get the hell away from her! She's too powerful and beautiful, she doesn't deserve your scraps. I know how she feels for you. I wish I were you. I would treat her like a queen. I don't mind even waiting years till she's ready. She deserves that. You're so lucky you have even a small chance that I may never have. So get your act together, prove you're worth it to win her over. All I want is for her to be happy. Even if it's with someone else. And maybe then I'll stop threatening you to stay away from her.😠

Ricky- .....I don't know what I'm more scared of. Change, or losing the girl I fell for or YOU. Okay, losing her but you're a close second.😬

If it's Portwell endgame.

Ricky- I messed up. Make sure you don't mess up with her. You'll regret it forever.

EJ- I'd rather get hit by thousand basketballs than ever hurt her. I'll be her plus one and her best friend until she's ready to be with me. I know she's ready now too. But I want her to know I'm willing to wait till she graduates before we make it official. I'm in it for the long game.

As for their age gap. I'm 100% sure Portwell won't kiss this season. If they do, it'll be next when Sofia turns 18. They are professional actors who are cast because they are the perfect fit for the role and are expected to carry out the storyline. But I suppose fearing some outbursts, they might delay Sofia kissing anyone till next season. It's so weird because Olivia was maybe 17 when Matt was 21-22 when they kissed in season one. But no one had a problem with that. But for this, they do. Remember, they are professional actors. They are acting! Sometimes, actors are over 10 years apart (but above 18) and act as romantic partners.

As for their characters, they are only two years apart. That's hardly any difference once you're over the age of 18. Age of consent is 16. But adults above 18 are only allowed to have sex with adults above 18. So, age isn't a problem here because EJ is a gentleman and is genuinely interested in her and isn't trying to get in her pants. So age isn't the issue when it comes to dating. It's the maturity. Gina is very mature and gives very sound advice. But I can see EJ being patient enough till she turns 18 just to kiss her because he loves her. 😚

As for the Ashlyn remark, "You look like a kid to me rn". He was JOKING.😂 Don't take things out of context. I tell my cousin sister that all the time. But she's three years younger than me and a grown adult. I don't see her as a kid but it's just a cousin teasing her younger cousin that's she's a little immature. I'm Matt's age and I'm very mature for my age and since I was a teenager, I always matched up with boys a little older than me. Now that I'm in my early 20s, I've dated boys even close to 30. So age is just a number.

EJ dating Gina and giving her quick kisses is fine. But to have a strong sexual element in their relationship (including making out), he'll have to wait till she's 18+. And I'm sure for that he'll wait till she's ready even past her early 20s. Age is really just a number and we can't help who we fall in love with. Trust me, I've been there.😂 So I can see EJ feeling conflicted about his feelings that are clear at this point.

They might not be a perfect fit, but they make each other sooo happy. They deserve a lot more than a short lived fling.😟 They are either endgame or Rina is. You can't have both as a Rina unless you're an EJ hater who wants him to exist as plot device. Nope! He's sooo much more precious than that.

But Jack on the other hand....I'm okay if he's the one to make Ricky or EJ jealous. Because he's just been introduced and it's okay if a character is used, but only once, for someone else to realize their feelings. 💁🏽‍♀️

In short.

Ricky needs help and needs to be on his own. No girlfriends allowed.🙅🏽‍♀️🚫

Needs to give both Gina and Nina space for them to grow on their own too.🌳

Ricky needs to understand the core of his problems and become more adaptable via therapy. Maybe the psychologist will point out his unresolved feelings for Gina, or he will conclude it himself. And in comes Ricky-pining-for-Gina season three.

Ricky needs to fully get over Nina before he moves on to anyone. Same for Gina if Portwell were to happen. No one deserves to be second choice.

Gina isn't Ricky's cushion. She's a living person with strong feelings for him and shouldn't be subjected to share his pain. She already struggles with her own issues.

Ricky needs to stay single till he wins back Gina and prove he's worth it. He needs to show even if another girl wants him, he'll never quit on Gina ever again. Even if he has to watch her be with someone else. *cough parallels*.

It's either romantic Rina then Portwell endgame OR Portwell flirty besties but Rina endgame. You and I can choose only one because my boy EJ shouldn't be used as plot device for a girl to leave for Ricky ever again.

Portwell's age difference can be practically solved and isn't much of an issue unless they get hot and heavy before Gina turns 18 which is impossible considering this is Disney. 🤣🤣

Jack and Gina will be plot device material and purely so sentimental to us OG Andi Mack fans. More than any ship, this is what I'm looking for. Sort of an Andi Mack crack ship for season 3a. It's gonna be soooo funny. 😍😂

I respect everyone's ship. I see what you're seeing. And I'm not going to invalidate your ship. But unless it's done right, I won't jump from the Rina ship. I liked Rini. I like Portwell. I like AU Juffy crackship haha.😂 But as for me, I'm still holding on to Rina slowburn.

Preparing myself for the pain. 😭🔥

(But if I had to pair two characters without Disney getting in the way, it would be Gini. The power duo. Undeniable chemistry. They can be written so well because of their layered relationship and contrasting personalities.🤩 The classic rivals to friends to lovers. But that's a talk for another day lmao.)

My happiness with Eda kinda not being rude towards Lilith (ft. Hunter)

I already praised this but I just realized, I should have more!

In this essay I acknowledged everything bad Lilith has done, so I'm not doing it here, but you DON'T need to read it to understand this post!

Here I forgot something really important.

Lilith was in a cult!

We all know about the people that tell cult members stories of how they have sacrificed people to satan and then laugh about it.

They're laughing about someone being genuinely scared for their life!

This is a threat to them!

Sometimes people that run cults use this to make sure their members are scared from the people outside the cult.

They also make them try to "save" others so it gets even worse.

I'm really happy that Eda's answer to "You look like some sort of a trash collector. Oh wait, you are!" wasn't "I was told by wild magic to sacrifice the person that says this to me at midnight! The last time this happened It felt so relaxing! See you then!"

This repeated a few times in my opinion would have stopped Lilith from saving Eda in episode 19, because if she doesn't join the coven she is beyond saving plus Lilith is risking to become just like her. And later on Lilith would have probably had even more mental health issues. I don't want to imagine Luz, King and Hooty.

I can't find a way to continue without saying how I think this should be handled. So I should say I'm not an expert.

I'm an atheist, the last supernatural thing I believed in was fortune telling, chakras and so on. But I realized how easily this can be used to scam people.

My parents buy this tea from this people, that say every doctor except for surgeons can be replaced.

Luckily my parents don't believe in everything.

I wouldn't say I have a lot of experience with this as I'm not sure if what I described is called a cult, honestly. But I've seen some stuff.

Like the fear in my mom's eyes, when I don't take tea, cause it "helps with my tics, adhd and mental health".

How did Eda handle it?

We don't know much about how Eda decided to not join a coven or how much she has heard of other people stories.

But we do know at one point she stopped believing in Belos.

Season 1

She never really talked about Belos with Lilith.

I think this was a good choice, cause all she would get is Lilith telling her how clearly in the wrong she is. Plus Lilith is tired, she can barely process new information and everything in her life is about the coven.

I've heard some people suggest that Eda should have broken into the coven and gotten Lilith out of there. This is a horrible idea. It would only scare Lilith and she would try to run away.

She shouldn't be kept captive. This will traumatize her even further. At this point she'll try to kill herself so she doesn't become like her sister.

So what did Eda do? She put on a show for Lilith to enjoy, full of nostalgia.

She gave Lilith what she needs, a break.

She was showing her that things haven't changed.

When Lilith opened up a bit in episode 11, she showed that it isn't dangerous.

When Lilith came to her house, she played a game with her.

The only time she did something resembling her "I'm gonna steal your tongue." jokes was "If anyone is putting you down it's gonna be me."

Which considering what just happened was clearly not gonna be taken seriously and gave Lilith even more nostalgia.

If Belos didn't give Lilith a timer she was on her way out of the coven.

The problems I have with Eda here are her laughing at Lilith for thinking she'd join the coven as if anyone in there is an idiot, making Lilith defensive.

Also her lie in episode 17 which made the game way too important.

Don't get me started on what would have happened if she lost or when Lilith realises she was lieing.

Episode 18/19

Now in episode 18 Eda lost it. She tried to talk Lilith out of it IN THE MIDDLE OF A FIGHT.

She was trying to hurt Lilith the whole finale, both physically and emotionally.

I'm not calling Eda a bad person, this is how humans react, she went through hell, but this was a mistake.

She should have tried sneaking or something and if she got caught only force to the point of getting out. No name calling.

Season 2

It took her less than two weeks to stop guilt tripping her.

They worked on their competitiveness problem in the second episode.

They could trust each other with physical stuff like the other putting themselves in danger for them.

Lilith is in a safe space, wether she believes so is debatable, though.

I'm impressed by Eda except for the guild tripping but again she's "human".

She deserves praise for this impressive response to Lilith being in the coven. It's not perfect but knowing the average person, it's godlike.

Hunter

After episode 9 I think she might try to help, but so far she hasn't.

She threatened him and then got humiliated.

She made fun of him even after seeing Hunter obviously being hurt by it.

"Don't you recognise that annoying voice?"

"Why does everyone say that?"

"You must be fun at parties!"
