I wanted to sort of make this my own so it isnt boring + these are just some ideas I have about being with vampire!sam. im not starting off on where I left (basically when Edward leaves bella in new moon.) #notwritingallat ]

໒: trying to get Sam into popular artists now doesn't go so well. He doesnt like upbeat pop music by young adult women. Sam prefers MCR, Metallica, Pantera.. you get it. He specifically hates Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo. Sabrina is "too girly and talks so much about sex" and Olivia is like another Taylor Swift, singing about her ex boyfriend all the time. You try and tell him that his views on the two women are so wrong and that he should really take the time to listen to the lyrics carefully to get the real meaning behind them, but he refuses.

໒: Sam doesn't like to sit with you and your friends at lunch, he thinks they're too loud and annoying. They gossip a lot, too.. about everyone and everything.

"I dont doubt that they talk about each other." he mumbles to you in the car as he drives you home. "In fact, I know they do." He smirks and taps his finger on the wheel. "I heard what Joanna was thinking about Avery today. She thinks Avery is a brat.. and shes not wrong." Sam had the ability to read anyones mind exacept yours. that was one of the main reasons he wanted you so bad. the old man wanted to figure you out.

"you really need to stop intruding on other peoples thoughts." you smile over at him. "its not exactly like I can just ignore their thoughts, you know? I cant.. mute them or anything like that. Its as clear as when I hear someone speaking. I just.. hear them like if they were right next to me." Sam looks your way for a second, then back at the road. "If I zone out, then sure, I can mind my business and not catch a thing they think about, but.." he half smiles. "those kids are always thinking about some crazy shit. its hard to ignore sometimes."

໒: Sam barley uses his phone. Hes not addicted like everyone else is. Yes, he has social media, but again.. hes not really on it. He has instagram and twitter. A bunch of followers on Instagram but only follows back a few people. His twitter account is private and he only ever uses it to see what bands are announcing tours.

໒: Sam really likes the rain. He likes to go on walks in the forest while its all wet and cold.

໒: Vampires don't sleep but that doesnt stop Sam from taking naps on his comfy bed all the time. Yes, he has a bed. He likes to be comfortable. How could a chair make him as comfortable as a bed? His sheets are grey, blankets navy blue and black. dont doubt that they arent big and soft.

"let me sleep," he whines, tossing to the side where hes not facing you. "Sam, you dont sleep. You dont get sleepy." you remind him and pick at his hair. "Then there must be something wrong with me because I feel sleepy as hell." he furrows his eyebrows. "now shut up and leave me alone, loser." it doesn't matter that you're his girlfriend *or whatever* (is how he'd put it) hes still mean to you sometimes.. like.. genuinely.

໒: he likes to lay on your chest to hear your heart beat. it 'helps him sleep' (😒)

໒: When you first started dating, Sam HATED when you would try to kiss him. He said it was because hes older, and it feels wrong, but really, he just didn't want you to kiss him. he was uncomfortable with it and chose not to hurt your feelings.

"I told you to lay off, you're too young to be kissing all over me, kid." he shoved his hands in his hoodie pocket. "Sam, you cant say that out loud.." you look around, catching people glancing at you. "they'll forget about it tomorrow. just.. stop, alright? its weird."

໒: josh and you were close. especially when Sam had left. Josh made you happy, and you made him happy.. maybe a little too much. He developed a crush on you. A huge one. It bothered Sam more than anything. "that dirty dog wouldn't know how to handle you." he would say with jealousy. "pretty girl like you needs a man who can handle her random outbursts and shit like that." he would boop your nose and kiss you on the lips (now that hes finally comfortable) "throw him a bone or something instead."

“Meli found out that we're seeing eachother.” Sam voices to you nervously, pacing his room. He thought he was being so slick with you. Somehow he managed to make it seem like you and him were strictly friends to his family, but his sister had a vision 2 weeks before you even moved to Forks. She didnt see anything about Sam leaving you that one time, though. All she saw was a cute relationship with you and her brother. "im COOKED." he yells and plops on his bed. "Sam, I think shes known." she told you anyway. "whatever, shut up and let me lock in." (sleep) IF that's even what he does 😐

“so.. you never told me.” you start small talk on the car ride. "told you what?" "like.. you know. about drinking blood. whats it like?" sam smirks and glances over at you. "its amazing. feels like a whole new different drug to me. human blood, that is." he makes a turn, pulling into the driveway of the pizza joint. "Kevin doesnt allow us to hunt humans. we're like.. the vegetarians of vampires." you furrow your eyebrows in confusion. "what does that even mean?" "we drink blood from animals, stupid." he rolls his eyes and turns off the car. "I go against his rules sometimes, though." he looks over to you, eyeing your neck. "sam," you say nervously, making him laugh. "you really thought I was gonna eat you?" "well yeah! you're.. a vampire! I have blood in me! and the way you eyed me was.. I dont know." sam shakes his head. "I cant kill you," he starts, the smile wiping off his lips. "I dont know what I'd do without you."

you stayed in the car for atleast 10 more minutes while he told you about how hes killed people in the past, rebelling against his mother and mostly father. He revealed to you how he killed and sucked dry one of the jocks he hated back when he was alive.. and it was over a girl. "I liked this girl named Evie," he says with no shame. he thought you would understand since it was a long time ago, and luckily you did. "She was really nice to me when nobody else was. I cant lie, I was mean to her. I told her to leave me alone cause she was annoying, but really, I just didnt wanna catch feelings for her." "why not?" "she was too good for me. also her boyfriend hated my guts. He thought I was a freak who didnt deserve any friends." sam told you as he was looking out the window to the gloomy view outside. "He called me a loser, punched me once.. one time him and his football friends decided to jump me in the bathroom." he recalls. "I wanted to do something about it so bad but I knew he'd just kick my ass again. After like a week of jumping me I heard how bad of a boyfriend he was to Evie. He smacked her around, called her names, cheated on her.. a lot of things. It pissed me off cause by then I actually started to let myself fall for her. After she found out that her boyfriend, Van, and his friends kicked my ass she never left me alone. She hungout with me in a classroom during lunch, convinced me to give her my number.. so you know. she was always sending me messages." he fills you in about how she was so nice to him. "I died like two months after that. I stalked her at school a few times and I saw that she was really upset about me. "

"she even convinced her friends and a few other people to decorate my locker with stuff like 'rest in piece' and 'never forgotten'," sam looks over at you, a little surprised that you were actually invested in this story. "keep talking, hello?" you say, making him chuckle. "she just kept me in her life and prayers after I died, alright? you get it." he clears his throat. "but uh.. I remembered Van after a while. I remembered how much I hated him. So after one of his football games, I payed him a little visit in the lockers."

[ The lights in the locker rooms were flickering and buzzing as Van changed back into his regular clothes. It was cold.. a little bit colder than usual, and the vibe in there was off. Van tried to shake it off, but he was just getting creeped out even more by the minute. All of a sudden, one of the lockers shut. Van looked over to it.. nobody was there. Then he felt a chill go up his spine. He turns around and yells in fear when he sees Sam. "What the hell?!" He yells as he stays against the lockers. He didn't realize it was Sam at first.. he was paler than usual, and his eyes were a deep creepy red. "Sam? Is—no.. you're dead. you died 4 days ago. how could this be?!" Van freaks out. Sam smiled and shook his head. "Dont worry about it," He steps closer, up in Vans face. "All you should know right now is that you're next. you're going to die, Van." he whispers. "im gonna make sure its painful, too." he threatens. "Sam, come on." Van whimpers, holding onto one of Sams shoulders. "thats—thats what guys do, man.. beat eachother up, you know?" he nervously laughs, sweat dripping from his forehead. "you got it all wro‐" he chokes. he choked because sam wrapoed his hand around Vans neck. "shut the fuck upp," sam laughs. "this isnt just about you being a jackass to me. you're such a dick to Evie. you dont deserve her." he throws Van across the walkway. Sam said a few more things, scaring and threatening Van even more before actually killing him to make it hell. ]

Sam didnt explain the whole murder of Van too well. It was too graphic, he thought.. because he didn't just suck the life out of Van.. he did ripped off an arm and a leg. You didnt need to know that, but just thinking about it made Sam smile to himself. a little wider than he already was when explaining every else to you. "Whatever, it was years ago. He got what he deserved." Sam sighs and opens the car door. "Wait," you touch his cold hand. "What about Evie? What happened to her?" Sam messes with his labret and looks back at you. "She moved to New York and had two kids. A boy and a girl.. her boys name is Samuel."

Have you seen the 2017 My Little Pony Movie? If so, do you everyone was acting OOC in the movie? I've been seeing so many people say this. Like Rainbow Dash doing a Sonic Rainboom while in the midst of showing off to those pirates didn't really seem out of character for her, but that's my opinion.

Honestly i dont think its a matter of being out of character, btu rather character reduction. Every girl of the mane 6 winds up being reduced to the most core components of their character, be it catchphrases or just a basic way of acting. rainbow is cocky, pinkie is loud, rarity is vain, AJ is pragmatic and somehow, Fluttershy basically only ever whimpers in the movie. the camera turns to her and shes whimpering, lmao. That's all in character, completely. its just not creative or interesting or expressive. Pinkie being used as a distraction because she's loud and loves parties is almost a meta relationship with this, Twilight knows.

I think what also doesnt help the movie is how pointless of a roadtrip journey the movie is? Like. its a movie about going from point A to point B mindlessly, but there's no real defined purpose. The maggufin they find is just an orb that makes you into a water pony, why did twilight thing that was a tool that could be used against the storm king? Who fuckin knows. the hippogriffs dont help, its all won n the end due to teamwork. its funny that they in the end assault the castle by just... going there with the friends they made along the way.

BUT LIKE BITCH YOU ALREADY HAD FRIENDS. IN PONYVILLE AND BEYOND EVEN.LIKE DOZENS OF FRIENDS THAT WOULD GLADLY HELP Where's starlight and trixie during the fall of equestria?! Having gay sex?! smh

I also am not fond of how many bipedal characters are added in here, the ponies stand out so much in a world made for creatures with hands, and even the comics dont add this many. it feels weird bc they had so many species to pick from, from changelings, yaks, griffons, etc etc, and they just made a bunch of furry people that stand and slapped them in the movie. the hoppogriffs were a nice addition even if they dont do nothin. Maybe they realised a quadrupedal world with hands is just impractical lmao

Anyways I have a lot to critique about the movie but I feel like it just all bogs down to it being like... Kind of empty to me. Devoid of an usual flair or artistic vision some episodes and specials seem to have. Characters are there to do what they usually do, the princesses are kicked out of the way so twilight and her friend scan save the day, its pretty formulaic. Maybe I'm spoiled by equestria girls and how each movie has a diffrent and awesome vibe and every character has smth to do in it lmao.

Anyways tempest is cool but she stands out like a sore thumb and her not being in FIM or EQG is just sad. Also the comics do her justice and give her a fucking girlfriend, one of her childhood friends, its really damn sweet.

arcana twilights character interactions r so good........ even in rly minor inconsequential interactions like the group chats the dynamics never feel forced and when they have conflicts in the story it feels like such a natural extension of their personalities+opinions

a good example is when sirius enters his villain era and everyones jumping to go "well hes evil we gotta stop him" and pollux is the one to stop and wonder why hes doing it: hes one of the youngest sorcerers in the guide committee except probably vega? meaning he doesnt have the "natural order" of things quite ingrained in him yet so hes the most open minded, and in turn sirius is actually rly friendly with him in his weird cunt way

meanwhile alpheratz (who sirius HATES because he sees through his shit, and he hates sirius in turn) and spica (the one whos most serious about being a sorcerer and everything that comes with it) are the most openly hostile to him, along with vega who just really hates him fucking with summoner

arcturus is the one least personally invested in the whole thing, mostly just being against sirius on the basis of "dude youre destroying our line of defense against void monsters (also hurting my friend)"

RIDDLE ROSEHEARTS: He admires how hardworking and strict she is with herself. Thinks shes one of the only reliable people in this school. || Champei treats him with respect, but avoids interacting with him at all costs. She cant stand his constant yelling (especially with her chronic headaches and migraines) and low temper- learn to control yourself in public man. (<- her thoughts not mine..)

TREY CLOVER: He's seen her around, and has heard of how dependable she can be. Although, he does get a little creeped out by her aura, he likes her as a person. || Trey is 1 of 5 people that Champei is able to tolerate being around without a migraine. She prefers his presence over most students, thats for sure. Only thing keeping her from being around him in peace is Cater.

CATER DIAMOND: He's in the same class as Champei, and he thinks shes totally adorable in like that twilight from mlp way. Although shes definitely a lot more standoffish than most people think, shes still pretty nice to him! || Champei hates Cater Diamond. She cannot STAND him tryna talk her up and his slang that she doesnt understand 80% of the time- what the fuck is a fine shyt

ACE TRAPPOLA: She's too uninteresting and kinda blends in with the walls for him to care. He's heard about her being this reliable yet strict person- and he gets total riddle vibes from her.. (without the yelling, which is lowk scarier) || She hasnt interacted with him, but she has definitely seen and heard about the infamous gang of first years that always seem to cause trouble. She just wants an uneventful year without much attention, she cant stand to be around these kids.

DEUCE SPADE: He admires her! Shes helped him with things like getting his hat stuck on a tree or catching him with magic before he falls. He thinks shes the type of student he should strive to be! A super smart, perfect, quiet, and composed honor student! || She thinks the same way about him as she does with Ace. from the few interactions shes had with him, she thinks hes too slow in the head for her liking.

LEONA KINGSCHOLAR: He doesnt really care about her. She hasnt really got anything going that would interest him. They respect eachother, and thats about it. || She doesnt like his attitude and how he behaves, but she does appreciate him choosing to leave her alone all the time.

RUGGIE BUCCHI: He didnt really care about her at all until she began giving him her leftovers from lunch. She never finishes her food- so she just leaves it on her table and glances at ruggie. He likes her because of that. || She thinks hes like a little ratty dog that begs for scraps hnder the dining table. Honestly doesnt care about him, but would rather the food doesnt go to waste.

JACK HOWL: He respects her as a senior and skilled student. But thats about it. He can sense she wants to stay independent most of the time and he respects it. || She doesnt really know who he is. Not his fault, she doesnt know even most of the 2nd years- let alone the 1st years.

AZUL ASHENGROTTO: He uses her as an example on what his academic and magical skill levels should look like. He respects her dedication to being alone so she can work by herself, and has tried roping her into many different contracts. Too bad shes too smart for that. || She doesnt like the way he presents himself, but she does respect his "strong eat the weak" sentiment. JADE LEECH: He doesnt exactly care about her. She's uneventful and boring, there isnt much to think about when it comes to Champei. She flies under his radar practically all the time. || She doesnt actually know who he is besides the fact that hes the vice housewarden of octavinelle. She doesnt bother looking into the people around her, so she just sees Jade as that one tall calm dude that scams people with azul.

FLOYD LEECH: He likes annoying her to get a reaction. The reactions of people who always seem to be composed are a lot funnier, and who else is more composed than Champei? Although, he isnt able to get under her skin most of the time. Thats boring. || She hates this boy so much. Nothing more beyond that, i think you know why.

KALIM AL-ASIM: He likes her! shes a good person and shes always kind to him. But she doesnt ever go to his parties or accept his offers to hang out :( || She doesnt like Kalim. She wants peace and quiet and isolation- not whatever kalim is doing. He brings too much attention wherever he goes, and shes not trying to deal with that.

JAMIL VIPER: He respects her as an accomplished senior and thats about it. They both stick to being pretty formal and distant with one another, and they both know they prefer it that way. || She enjoys the mutual acknowledgment to leave eachother alone. Hes alright.

VIL SCHOENHEIT: He recognizes her skills and the effort she puts into her appearance. Even if she can be irritatingly dedicated to being isolated, he respects her. Not much else to say. || She avoids him if im being honest. He flashy and brings too much attention with him, she doesnt want to interact with someone like that.

ROOK HUNT: He knows theres more to her than she lets on, and hes determined to figure it out. || She hates him. Thats it. He cant keep himself out of her business and it stresses her out.

EPEL FELMIER: Who the hell is Champei? || Who is Epel Felmier? (they both know nothing about eachother)

IDIA SHROUD: Hes in the same class as her and shes just.. scary. She doesnt speak at all and have this uncanny valley vibe.. Its weird. || She doesnt like him and thinks hes a coward. Like she HATES social interaction just as much as he does, but she still goes to class and is nice to the people she hates. 😒

ORTHO SHROUD: He doesnt pay her much mind, but it was intriguing when his scans picked up on two organisms when she was alone. || She avoids this boy like the plague. She cant risk it, he knows too much.

MALLEUS DRACONIA: He knows she has her secrets, but doesnt want to pry or get into it. Shes just another student among the school that he goes to. || Hes kinda scary. She doesnt want to speak with him at all for obvious reasons.

LILIA VANROUGE: He knows she has a parasitic curse on the back of her head and lets her know that he knows. Its fun to tease her, but he also pities and empathizes with her struggles || She knows he knows and shes terrified shitless of talking with the guy. shes always paranoid hes gonna tell people and it makes her so resentful of him.

SILVER VANROUGE: he respects her and doesnt pay her much mind. || She does the same for him. But she doesnt like Lilia, so she has a bias against Silver.

SEBEK ZIGVOLT: Hes too busy focusing on his own things to bother thinking about Champei. Shes just a senior who is capable and dependable. Thats about it. || Everytime Sebek speaks Champei feels like her head is ripping in half. His loud voice and yelling does NOT help eith her chronic migraines- she cant handle being around him. she hates sebek.

PAOYU (MY YUUSONA): Hater meets hater. they both dont like eachother lol.. Paoyu is WAY too loud and attention seeking for Champeis tastes, and Champei is uh. Well she doesnt do anything to be disrespectful or mean to paoyu but shes got those vibes YK? everyone thinks paoyu is insane for disliking Champei but her and grim KNOOWWW shes crazy.

ISASONA @skibidibabygirl : Isasona thinks Champei is pretty and really reliable! Isasona is like the nicest person ever and she also doesnt get to see Champei often, so she thinks shes an introvert and there isnt rlly anything off about her. || Champei doesnt care about ramshackle students. And Isasona also leaves her alone most of the time so she's chill with her. But it can be slightly irritating when she feels a pair of eyes on her from across the hallway.

REI @hrtzbeat : Rei, like paoyu, KNOWS somethings up with Champei. But unlike paoyu, shes more intrigued than weirded out. so like im midway through season 1 of mlp:fim and barely remember a fucking thing. but im calling it. I believe she ran some calculations and deduced that the biggest threats to her secret operations were Rainbow Dash for her blistering speed. AppleJack for her brute strength. Rarity for her smarts and Fluttershy for her animal friends which could prove a big threat. So who else is better to get insider information on their skillsets and more importantly their weaknesses and flaws than the student that begs and lives to please her. Twilight Sparkle. she knew that twilight would follow through no matter what, insisting that she send letters on her "friendship" updates. And she could easily do the same for if the Mane Six ever attempted to put a stop to her. After all, Equestria worships the very ground she trots on. She could make the entire kingdom turn on the Mane Six in an instant if she felt they got a bit too close to stopping her. Plus, nobody would ever suspect Celestia of doing ANY misdeed. Ye so after I made lore around echo and corvus I kinda have started a whole story au ish around them and I have decided to probably start drawing all the other sprunki fan kids. I have a total of 16 (4 in each category) ...well technically 13 since 3 of them are the ogs just now older (i think you can take some guess there) but yeah should probably get to introducing them as well as some redesigned sprites

He doesn't really get along with Ron due to them having veey different vibes but he is friends with Leo and is dating Polly. As well as having some....ties with the darkcult kids

In horror mode he is the one to kill Ron in self defense, which intrigues echo so he spares him. He is still igured with a bunch of burnt scars though

Leo is honestly way too optimistic for his own good. He is pretty smart but he often let's his own morals get the best of him. That said he tends to prejudice people especially based on things he's heard and all though he wants the best for everyone he tends to just follow along like a sheep, especially with Jane. She is kind of the reason he fears the darkcult kids

In horror mode he is accidently attacked and killed by corvus with an axe as Corvus mistook him for a threat (and was also blind at the time)

In horror mode she is the last to be killed by another character who we will meet later, she is hit over head with a bat (with nails mind you) and dies slowly, and in that time echo comes over to make sure he kills her mentally one last time .....through a fucking song you cant take this guy seriously

I had so much fun through the whole process for this one! (Tbh the mane 5 becomin more like semi ocs now) For my version, Pipp is more of an actress/performer who does multiple side gigs and hobbies. Shes basically the city's "angelic sweet girl" since shes known for playing a soft and whimsical persona, often doing her iconic closed in ears and faded voice to give a more innocent look for the public. Her attitude is no different in private but she forces herself to stay too positive even when shes in need of relieving some strong emotions. Im not a fan of Pipp being a stereotypical phone addict in the show so I instead headcannoned her as neurodivergent and needing a distraction everytime or else she gets all panicky when shes doesnt have anything to do, she tends to overshare info, forgets to rest, known to take other's spotlight away and dissociate a lot (especially when reading fan comments) Shes disabled and uses formed cloud wings designed by her sister.

As for her redesign, I made her mane to be more stylish as a way to show her expertise on hairstylin. Her tail and tiara is rose shaped to go with her last name "Petals". And her colour pallete is brownish purple and powdered pink to give her character a more softer feel.

Lmaoo I have a lot to say- Anyways heres an old piece i made for zipp Im still confused how to draw her hair patterns...

In my ver. Zipp is well known for bein hardworkin and intelligent. Shes not ready to be queen and often "slacks off" with her main royal duties but she organizes and fixes problems happening outside the castle by talking to the staffs. Shes extremely curious and learns a lot of random detailed infos since she was young which ended up makin her become great at managing situations happening in and out the city, which is why her mother is so persistent on makin her the next queen. Zipp is a solutionist and researcher but she only focuses on what catches her interest before goin on the to next. (Ngl all the mane 5 are neurodivergent to me) Because of how determined she is on those interest, shes made several secret places to avoid just doin main work. Her fav studies are chemistry, physics, cosmology, ecology and aeronautics. Shes mysterious to the public eye but her friends know that shes just a bundle of hyperactive mess once she starts discovering smth new. I assume og Zipp is secretly non-binary coded but for my version, shes a transmare and everypony already knows and accepts it.

I gave her a more light pink and blue green mane colour. Her bangs are like sherlock holmes' as to pay homage for zipp bein a detective in the series along with some side braids. I also gave her twilight freckles and tired,soft looking eyes (not only cuz shes a workaholic like Pipp but its also cuz of genetics)

Aight, I was never really a fan for givin the mane cast just one element and the fact that G5 series havent showed any mentions of it just made it seem unimportant. Soo I instead gave them multiple elements that the mane 5 will develop as their journey goes on. Pipp will be the element of Strength, Purity, Assurance, Control, Pride, Value, etc. While Zipp is the element of Curiosity, Determination, Potential, Wonderment, Eagerness, Persistence, etc. (I imagine if twilight would have ever come back from the dead she would most likely write down what their elements would be as she observes the mane 5)

Stephanie Soo - Mukbang true crime girl. I loved her video in high school and I would always put on her videos while I was in painting II - III or drawing. Trin Lovell - Reviews movies and by far my favorite movie watcher on youtube. Her editing is really funny and quippy. payson arizona! its very beautiful there, a lovely mix of the Mogollon Rim and Tonto National Forest- when going further out, Georgiana loves going up the coast near Oregon and doing the Redwood Forest and camping on the beach- that trip can be a bit much for Maiceo but with enough prep time, they can do it!

Georgiana doesnt live in payson so they have favorite spots nearby, their property runs up close to some undeveloped land that they've found great joy in exploring! these two live the furthest from the city compared to the others

what if my g5 headcanons that will ultimately influence the story progression in my "rewrite" of mym?

under cut ofc because bitch we really get into it!!! (aka, long post)

i am one autistic bitch who feels let down my g5 in some aspects but mostly in a sense that it's just... missing some things!

disclaimer? i realy like g5. i come back to watch mym and tyt and the movie because it brings me joy and i like seeing the characters do things!

HOWEVER i personally feel like the story and writing is a bit... lack luster? im not sure if its because we're just missing so much information that's going to be explained later, or if the writers just... are struggling to piece together this lowkey mess of a situation our favs are in!

i just want to make sense of it all, and im a storyteller not a theorist so im not doing that theory stuff :) im just going to spew headcanons and be happy abt what i think could be implied by the writers that we dont actually get expansion on

[4/28/2024 edit] i drafted this way back in december '23 or jan '24 so some of these might seem "duh ofc! Thats canon!" but yeah, i just had it in the drafts for a loonngg time

now another disclaimer uhm,... when i "rewrite" mym im... not exactly going to remove key details? i think my intent is to include some things into each chapter that will make it a bit more digestible to all demographics? i like the sillies, i like the serious, and mym hits some really strong points that i think were executed perfectly! there are some things that are just spot on!

but again i just think mym is missing some elements and my headcanons are a result of that (obv bc thats what a headcanon is omg).

only big different in my rewrite will be opaline because her character is just... i dont know but i dont enjoy her. and i love villains. i am a villain enjoyer, and as many others have pointed out, she just randmly decides to be evil for the sake of being evil which sometimes i get it but before then it seemed like more than that? so im going to stick to "its more than that" and she has an actual solid goal in mind :)

this is more of an autistic revelation turned writing exercise so YAY let's see how this goes!

HEADCANON TIME!

i love sunny!! since the movie she's been such a cutie and one of my favorites! in tyt and mym however, they have a habit of watering down her character to "naive protag who has flimsy and unbased morals" and that doesnt really sit right with me? sooooo headcanons for sunny? (and some others but mainly ones that focus on sunny)

Sunny likes history as a way to connect with her dad, and she collects things she thinks he might have liked, and continues his research partially because of her own ideals of friendship and spreading it, but also because part of her thinks she has to carry on his legacy

Sunny and Zipp have a "likeminded, different methods" leader rivalry

Sunny and Pipp love to spa day together! They're also late risers, and love healthy meals and afternoon strolls

Sunny lets Pipp style her mane and tail ALL the time for inspiration because she likes the pampering a little and bc she wants to help Pipp

Sunny does her best to assist her friends with their jobs from time to time. Mostly because of her admiration of Twilight and her idea of friendship meaning spending time doing things your friends love to do

Sunny invites them to help her make new smoothie ideas too

Sometimes Sunny spends time in the observatory, reminiscing her memories with her father. Typically on anniversaries and holidays. It's her form of quiet time

Sunny doesn't actually like help when she's cooking, not unless shes genuinely biting off more than she can chew. She'd rather her friends share the space with her while she cooks, and maybe grab an item or two for her when her hooves are full

Sunny considered looking to study magic after getting her alicorn powers, (zipp definitely encouraged it) but Sunny decided against it because 'she doesn't need magic if she has her friends'

Sunny isn't actually good at helping her friends emotionally. Her love language is acts of service, so kind words are all she can really offer.

Canonically (comics), Sunny likes to read! I like to think she has her own book nook and really likes books that are about overcoming odds and happy endings

(Based on the movie) Sunny's most noticable character flaw is believing every choice she makes is justified. A “ends justifies the means” type of character. She grows out of this when she learns she can rely on others to find a solution.

When given no option to explore, Sunny is a theorist more than a researcher

She was NOT immune to propaganda (but she knows what she truly believes in)

Sunny acts without forethought, and when there’s a kink in her quick plan, she forces herself to stop and reevaluate. All the same, she's sensitive to failure.

She is also quite intuitive, with her theories (even though help crafted by her dad) tend to be correct in one way or another!

Sunny was reluctant to rebuild the lighthouse because part of her felt like, starting over meant forgetting her father (as it tends to go, with grief of a parent.) [Her friends help her come around and work with her to give her father's stuff a safe space in the brighthouse]

I care so much about Zipp and the ways she can grow as a character. She was deep from the beginning but we never really got into more of her rather than her detective side. which i appreciate of course, but you know :)

Zipp is a natural leader (which in my rewrite i want to subtly emphasize this difference with Sunny learning to be a leader)

[Sunny and Zipp eventually would learn to work as a team, rather than one person having a more important say]

Zipp would be the one to teach Sunny what it means to lead, mostly indirectly, but sometimes directly

She leans away from leadership entirely and it causes a disconnect between her and her mother :(

She's drawn to puzzles and mysteries (especially in fiction) but prefers them in really fantastical settings

Zipp loves history, and views it as clues to her research about many things. If it's unrelated to current problem or doesn't have one on hand, she's not likely to read any history books

Zipp loves for Hitch to play detective with her. They snoop out clues together, and he helps her loosen up to solve the mystery faster as well as be more open minded

Zipp is wary of new ponies, and isn't quick to welcome anypony she doesn't know already or anypony not already dedicated to a cause (evidence: misty)

Zipp thinks Sunny studying magic and becoming more powerful would just be awesome to see

Zipp has a "problem" of being right all the time (sagittarius things)

After she gets ignored enough times about something she knows is true, she kind of just stops contributing to any conversation unless she has everypony's attention or if they're all out of ideas

She isn't a big fan of change? She prefers not to do new things all the time

But she LOVES a challenge!

Zipp is uncomfortable with being royalty in general. I assume she’d detach from the whole royalty thing entirely, and agree with Sunny’s ideals of democracy and equality to the point of stepping down as heir. Or she grows into her role, and becomes more and more queenlike each passing day

Zipp seems like the type to always be thinking, even during conversation. She isolates when things get too rough for her, and she's very quick to come up with schemes

Zipp is not good at lying. She avoids responses or tells half truths

She's an adrenaline chaser

Zipp starts out especially sarcastic toward Hitch because he's a sheriff and she thinks that's silly. Also because they have different ideas of leadership when they first meet.

Zipp (as well as Izzy and Sunny) love adventure!

i was so iffy on izzy when they introduced her in the show... i feel like she went from being an actual character with thoughts, to... watered down pinkie pie which is not enjoyable lol but anyways i like her actual moments of personality (not implying her lol XD random!! moments ARENT personality, but there are time where she's actually pushing it to the point of it being genuinely irritating with no comedic payoff :/

I BELIEVE IZZY HAS A PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY!! it just makes sense!! [she remembers in complete detail, or doesnt remember at all until way later]

Izzy would rather lighten the mood than make serious decisions :) She doesn't avoid action, but she does avoid sole leadership

to me, she's Brave and Direct and will step in if nopony else will. the type of character who isn't the hero, but will get the job done

Izzy in my mind is prone to going off on her own and not running ideas by ponies before acting which :) has its issues but comes in handy!

Along with Pipp and Hitch, Izzy LOVES nature! She teaches them both about Bridlewood's flora and fauna :) eventually they start having plants in the brighthouse and wanna explore all flora and fauna in the 3 locations

Izzy likes plants and is curious to what types of plants there are outside of bridlewood

Izzy learns some kind of multitasking spell, where she can create many things at once if she is making things in bulk :D

she does feel out of place in the friend group (canon to canterlot comic) and has a hard time making friends with the unicorns in other places :( [this is up until Misty, who makes her feel better]

Izzy sees Misty as a best friend :) But also takes on a silly older sister role with her!

She helps Misty grow into herself, and feel more secure with her past bebcause Izzy passes on her "damaged doesn't mean useless" ideals she usually saves for her unicycling

Izzy inspires Misty to use creation to get out her feelings, like making tea or exploring with crafts, just to find peace. She also helps Misty get out of her comfort zone in smaller ways, helping her try new things

When Izzy went looking for Maretime bay, Bridlewood just thought she went missing

Izzy wants close unicorn friends :( someone to genuinely bond with [see: Misty]

Izzy’s creativity comes from being really resourceful, BUT as a unicorn that lives in trees i’d imagine she’d have more respect for the trees of any kind LMAOO

she’s always got a solution to a problem even if unconventional or… surprising... but quick thinker!

Izzy loves to create things she can share with her friends (even when she has none, its the future thought that counts)

Izzy is the tallest out of the 5 of them? At least she’s taller than Pipp and Sunny

Izzy believes in Sunny way more than the rest of them do :) When Sunny has a plan, Izzy is ready to back her up!

now i see so many mixed opinions on pipp, but its mostly bc she's social media pony and i can't lie.... i tire of it... but pipp is great on her own! i dont think there's too much wrong with her, but at the same time i havent picked up much of her character and personality outside of social media (aside from this list ofc)

Bc her sister loves mystery and being a detective, Pipp lowkey has a spy hobby :) it started when they were kids, but it came back once they moved to Maretime bay

Pipp plans extravagant fake cases for Zipp every birthday :)

Pipp got her love of mystery (and by extension: horror / spooky) from her sister

Pipp does not have an interest in being any type of leader! she likes to inspire, but not lead :)

Pipp loves to glamp, and takes Hitch with her! Sometimes she camps with him to "embrace nature"

She likes to hear Sunny's spooky stories of the Everfree Forest

Pipp is a speed reader >:3 Any book she reads she just zooms through it

She's a great liar, for acting purposes but also just to save her hide.

Pipp can also be max sneaky, or by being the younger sib with no real duty to fulfill, its much easier for her to slip under the radar. Could be a reason she adores fame so badly and chases it harder than Zipp or Haven do

Pipp knows the city streets like the back of her hoof

She doesnt take Hitch’s title of sheriff very seriously unless she’s in Maretime bay

Pipp is VERY good at being a hype pony [ She was so happy to hype up sunny i ship pipp x sunny call that star petals ]

ill be so honest, hitch was my favorite from the beginning :D he's my favorite g5 pony ever, he's so cute and i love him to no ends!! i really liked seeing him stand up for what he believed in, and then when sunny was like "look, i told you" he didnt try to make any excuse why any pony kinds couldnt be friends :) he accepted it and was ready to help! i loved his moral code, you dont see a lot of lawful good characters this day and age (as far as ive seen)

BUT they did... do something to change his character in mym and tyt, taking away his love for order and replacing it with "stupid cop" gags and him being extremely silly. I miss his overconfidence and ego :( i dont think it should have left with the movie's end, it would have been so funny is he was still such a hardass

When Hitch gets stressed, he tries to alieve the situation and then calm down

Hitch is a scaredy cat

He has an overwhelming love for Maretime Bay, and typically likes to stay there if he can

Hitch liked not having magic so he doesn't actually use the new magic he gains

Hitch is loved by everyone in Maretime Bay, and he loves to protect him as much as he can, but he doesn't baby them

He makes jokes about a holiday about him where everyone cleans up litter around town, but insists its a joke

He gives good advice!

Hitch wanted to protect Sunny from being alone, and often protected her from bullies

Hitch doesn't put his friends above the law, and insists on fair punishment

After he gets Sparky, Hitch doesn't get to work out as much

Adding onto that, Hitch and Pipp bond over mane care

He's a realist, and knows that he can be wrong. But he'd rather the proof be shown first before he switches his ideals

Hitch is always open to listen

so called "free thinkers" when misty brightdawn is the best character in make your mark by far, solely because she feels (to me) like the only 3 dimensional character in the series :/ otherwise i just love her range and how silly she can be :) she feels real and fleshed out and obv she's just cute

Misty's special talent is actually inspiring change within herself and in other ponies, but whatever mym said is fine too

She's a jack of all trades after being made to be basically a maid of Opaline

She's got an excellent sense of direction

Misty got magic with everyone else, but bc of being in Opaline's castle, it was delayed, and weaker + Opaline forbade her from using it

Misty is more willing to confide in Sunny if prompted, because of all the times Sunny's protected her from pressure + Sunny is just a nice beacon of hope to talk to

Misty and Sunny bond over having to find their place in the world on their own due to absence of parent

Misty likes exploring creative outlets with Izzy

Misty hangs out with Sparky and Hitch n they're like a little family (blatant Histy shipping...)

Misty knows a lot about ancient artifacts

Misty (should) have her own room in the Brighthouse specifically for her, that only she and Zipp know about bc they both like quiet time

Misty and Opaline have a similar was of thinking after being together for so long (even though they weren't close)

Her moral code isnt cyrstal clear, due to her conflicted ideals after meeting the mane 5

She doesn't see Opaline as anything more than a faulty mentor and boss, but Opaline does provide for her so Misty is fine to stay

Misty and Izzy bond over basically being outcasts of Bridlewood (for different reasons)

Misty does not scare easy (vs Hitch who does, and Pipp who loves to be scared)

also im planning an oc fic featuring these little suckers because lets be real ive been lost in the vampire sauce for the past two years i NEEDED to write a vampire story sooner or later and like i said im really into the lore so!!!! hey

the first one is steph (they/them), a very wet pathetic and depressed mess who wakes up inside a cardboard box one day and doesnt remember anything about their past (which includes the fact that theyre a vampire. you can imagine how awkward their first meeting with a human is. and by awkward i mean gorey)

then theres cemre (she/her), a mortal reporter who has been investigating alleged vampire sightings for a while when she stumbles upon steph and bullies them into taking her with them on their quest to find out who the fuck they are. she is a little bit insane and a little bit ruthless and a little bit too horny for her own good.

last but not least is hafiz (he/him) an ancient nerd and the volturis court librarian hehe. he likes staring at books, copying scriptures, translating everything he can get his beautiful hands on, and probably knows every single language that has ever been spoken on earth. hes a very kind and polite guy but if he had to choose between his beloved library or 1000 innocent puppies AND the loves of his life sorry but rip to them.

and before you ask yes of COURSE they are bisexually and transgenderly in love with each other!!!
