Anyway, here are some things that have been plaguing my mind.

every time someone mischaracterizes and misinterprets homura as only caring abt madoka, an angel dies.

edit: and nvm just in rebellion, isn’t it literally confirmed that she originally attempted to save all of the girls, only for them to keep dying, so she eventually gave up?

keep in mind that it’s confirmed homura has gone back in time and relived the same torturous, unrewarding month at least or over 100 times, which is apparently equivalent to 9-12 years.

no wonder she’d eventually stop trying and focus much more on her main goal, aka saving and protecting madoka. it was most likely the only way she was even able to stay (somewhat) sane throughout the main series.
