Bonita Soleil

One of my favorite character looks in Psychonaugts 1, I like her level too...kinda, I like the meaning behind it, and the self criticism and you know loosing your muse and all that...playing it on the other hand...not one I enjoy.  But I love Bonita Soleil I love her look, I love the aesthetic, and I wanted to draw her and...yes I did a semi Virgin Mary/saintly look I think it works a lot...can't wait for those types to complain about me being sacrilegious and a dirty sinner, and how jesus saves. -sips coffee- I can handle it don't panic.

the movie Martyrs (2008) and the game Blasphemous (2019) are such good companion pieces on the concept of the devout being willing to put someone through intense torture to see the face of their God but failing to ask themselves why a God demanding that level of suffering should be seen at all

httyd 3, while very well made overall, had an amatonormative shitshow of a script and did not manage to do the book ending justice. "There were dragons when I was a boy" lost all its tragedy because 1. there was a reunion. 2. the film made it seem as if it was ok because both found romantic love.

The wild robot, on the other hand, did the every bittersweet-permanent-parting and visually stunning thing I wanted and it did it RIGHT
