It's our time to celebrate

Lena stared at herself in the mirror as she pulled on a dress over her head. She tugged it into place and she turned. The cut accentuated her growing breasts and belly, it made her look pregnant. But it also made her look happy. Twisting her hair into a quick and loose braid, she added some light makeup before heading downstairs; it was already alive with movement and chatter.

"You look beautiful, darling." Dana said, giving her daughter a kiss on the cheek. "The kids are setting up some tables outside, hanging decorations..." She gave her daughter a bright smile. "Stef is in the kitchen."

Nodding, Lena walked into the kitchen and watched her wife for a few minutes before walking up behind her and wrapping her arms around her from behind.

The weeks had passed and there was a festival in town that the entire Adams Foster family planned on attending. Lena was 11 weeks pregnant, and she hid her bump quite well. The only people who knew were Stef and Lena themselves. They knew it was too early to start telling people, so they were still very secretive about it.

Stef buttoned her flannel after tucking it into her jeans. She pulled her hair back in a ponytail and smiled. Life was absolutely perfect. Their kids were relatively well behaved, they were getting ready to welcome a new baby, and Lena was more beautiful than ever, if that was even possible. She really had a glow through this pregnancy so far and Stef savored every minute of it.

“Let’s go, everyone! Down to the car!” Stef called, corralling her family and heading to the festival. While there, she walked hand in hand with her wife as their kids ran off by themselves. “This gets better every year.” The blonde said, looking around at the booths and listening to the music. She turned to her wife and wrapped her arms around her, kissing her softly.
