In my latest obsession with dolls I looked up a brand of mermaid doll my niece got for Christmas and now I have one and she is beautiful and fun lol. I am terrified for the one my niece got on account of that kid is a wrecking ball of not giving a Single Solitary Fuck, which is expected when you're seven but still

I also find it funny that fandom will only accept Lyanna being her non-conforming, wild self in the context of saying that Arya isn't meant to be pretty; Any other day we get back-to-back posts about how Lyanna is actually super traditionally feminine cause she sniffled at a song once, so she's actually more like Sansa. Instead of constantly speaking on Arya and Lyanna, how about you guys reflect on why your standards of beauty for women are attached to how well they perform feminity within the patriarchy?

When the book comes out I'll be taking Alecto (my old barbies) out of the tomb (big plastic box) where I kept her for the last myriad (since I was 10) because I too refuse to let go (i will never give these away).

Trying to get Poppy be like brrrrr 😬
Literqlly, retail stores sell Amaiya, Skylar and Violet, then Sunny, Ruby and Jade. There is no Poppy.
I had to go to a toyworld and searched right to the back to find an old winterbreak Poppy. Only other way is $90AUD on line. For reference, winter Poppy is $80 now, and the other fantastic fashion dolls are between $65-$75 AUD.
I'm collecting all the runway dolls but they are really expensive. Still deciding if this Poppy is worth it.

#ABSOLUTELY CONSUMERED IT UP#well. let me clarify a few things#i went to le thrift store and found these darling black velvet boots. are you kidding me#i had been THINKING about getting a velvet pair of demonias but theyre so expensive and then i find these beauties!!!!!#i also got a fleece blanket at the thrift that i turned into a jacket but ill share in a separate post#i used a hot topic gift card to get socks and a journal for school all from the clearance section !!!#then went to a pharmacy chain that is going out of business and bought nearly $250 worth of stuff for ONLY $100 WHAT#cleaned out that shit#i used it at the perfect excuse to try some skincare and makeup stuff that im too stickershocked to get normally#so now i have a bunch of makeup brushes and some palettes and the CLEANSERS for when i go to concerts and get all dolled up fr#i dont think anyone is reading these tags but by god am i going to use them up#it was such a fun day#i went with two friends and we had a great time terrorizing the local mall#also got called “very very pretty” by a GORGEOUS goth girl i absolutely swooned#my friend was making fun of me for getting complimented and threatened to tell my partner about it but they just agreed with the goth girl#even though it rained super fucking hard it was a great time with pals#so much fun omg#goth girl#goth#fashion#style#original post#alt fashion#goth fashion#goth outfit

arguably one of the most. well-adjusted (<- sarcasm moment) things about me is the little mental spreadsheet i have in my head at any given time about how each of my family members would react to me coming out to them as queer, specifically trans though because honestly. that's the only one actually relevant.
