EU REALMENTE NÃO SABIA AS CONSEQUÊNCIAS DE IR EMBORA

Eu cresci lentamente, mas após os 18 anos, os relógios aceleraram e as folhas do calendário começaram a cair. Estou por um fio. Não posso juntar meus pedaços e voltar para casa; nunca foi uma opção.

Sinto muito por não atender ao telefone. Enquanto você dorme, passo minhas madrugadas expulsando meus fantasmas, ouvindo um som genérico de chuva junto a Black Box Recorder, pois o silêncio dói tanto quanto as dores de cabeça sobre as quais você falava que viriam se eu não parasse de chorar.

Na última vez que você me visitou, eu desafiava a morte, permiti que ela tomasse conta. Havia um valentão no quarto e um feto abortado; então, precisei de mais pílulas. Mãe, eu nem queria isso.

"É melhor começar a criar coragem, pois agora você está sozinha". Um dia, não precisarei trancar a porta imediatamente após chegar em casa. Sem preocupações se alguém bater no portão; ele não pode entrar.

Há alguns dias, algo bagunçou meu cérebro. Lembranças ruins, arrependimentos, memórias de coisas que ainda nem aconteceram fizeram-me sair da posição relaxada e confortável que me levava a um sono tranquilo, sem preocupações, e agora direto para o abismo sem respostas, para as coisas que posso fazer, mas não vou.

Não tenho mais receio de que levem minha alma; eu já a perdi pelas mãos de um homem cruel.

Houve dias longos e desperdiçados, levantando de hora em hora para fazer algo para comer, exagerando em chás de camomila para conseguir dormir, por não suportar a pressão de estar comigo mesma, acordando 1h da manhã e limpando o sangue no travesseiro.

Meu lugar na mesa está vazio há tanto tempo.

Apago todas as luzes agora, e nessa escuridão, um dia quase colapsei. Pensei em sair, ligar para os amigos, beber. Eu não saberia o que fazer depois, porque de qualquer forma, teria que voltar sozinha para casa novamente.

Tenho vivido em meio ao rock e ao álcool, meu cabelo agora tem cheiro de cigarro. Não é um mundo bonito.

Quando não há para onde ir ou com quem conversar, então eu te ligo, te ligo porque o frasco de medicação está acabando e eu tenho medo.
