He would have poor imagination, wouldn't have to laugh, wouldn't have to look, wouldn't be jealous, would mean to hurt you, wouldn't commit arson, wouldn't want to hold your hand, wouldn't make you run for your life little girl, wouldn't miss you now and then, wouldn't feel fine, wouldn't need love, wouldn't be working like a dog, won't be sleeping like a log, would be getting worse, would have a living mother, wouldn't remember, wouldn't make a song with a racial slur in the title, would know how Paul could sleep and would believe in magic, I-Ching, bible, tarot, Hitler, Jesus, Kennedy, Buddha, Mantra, Gita, Yoga, Kings, Elvis, Zimmerman and Beatles

My friend and I once had this funny little parody musing about the Paul Is Dead theory where Paul goes missing (but is actually just on vacation or smth) and the others dunno what to do w/o him so they pool their money, steal Brian's checkbook and buy a Paul clone robot called the PmcC2000.

I'm thinking about drawing all this just for shiggles if anyone is interested. (More details will follow depending)

My Own Personal Interpretations/Takes of one of My Mutuals' OCs (@djinarocks) of her own Cartoon! Beatles Fankids from YouTube drawn in my own Arstyle.

I've also decided to make each of the Kid look closer towards their own Fathers' artstyle from One of the Movies from the Beatles (most likely "Yellow Submarine").

Before anyone starts to comment or reblog this, please note that this has absolutely NOTHING to do with the IRL Beatles (considering that they did had their own Wives in RL), My Best Friend's AU of one of her Favorite Musicians mainly focuses on the Cartoon Beatles (most likely the YS one) since both the Cartoon Adaptations of The Beatles have their own universes as their own Fictional versions of the Band.

Again, before anyone gets super confused, this has Nothing to do with the RL Beatles, this is only from a AU of The Yellow Submarine Cartoon Counterparts of the Former Band (not the actual ones, if you're gonna start to wine about it since I do know Historical Facts. 🙄)

Oh yeah, I think if Paul had died first John would have gotten for real institutionalized, if at least just because it would majorly trigger all his baggage from losing Julia/Stu/Brian/etc. And plus like you said, people coming at him for being a shitty friend and John defensively freaking out. But then I could also imagine him going through periods of brusque numbness to avoid feeling that fragile, or throwing himself entirely into the political side of it as an outlet.

johns just so damn unpredictable it's hard for me to say how exactly I think he'd react. He certainly wouldn't get more normal that's all I can say

LA-LA-LA

The Critters began recording for "La-La-La" during their fifth studio session for their upcoming album "HELP!" on February 19th, 1995 at Playcare Road Studios. This first session contained a rough backing track, with overdubbed organ, as well as complete drums.

On March 30th, the song was finished, with a redone arrangement - however keeping the organ and some of Catnap's drum parts form the initial session on the 19th.

Fun facts to know and tell:

The chrous of "La La La" was actually originally a placeholder as Bubba and Kickin hadn't yet decided what to write at that point for the next record. However, they ended up keeping them as the chorus and main bit of the song because Crafty & Catnap liked it.

The Critters performed the song in a sequence in their film Help!, filmed at Twickencare Studios where they would later make Let It End. In the scene, The group mimes to the song in a recording studio environment, presumably intended to represent Playcare Road. However, the performance is curtailed when Dogday's cult who are chasing after Catnap cut a hole around his drum kit from the room below.

Slowly i'm beginning to hone my craft for my little silly Smiling Critters AU. Titled "The Critters AU", which follows the story of "The Critters" who in this alternative 1990s take on the role of The Beatles - as in this universe, there was no Beatles in the 60s. (With some Rutles tossed in for good measure)

With their past behind them, the two secret lovers who live together, as bachelors, run into a strange young man named Marty McFly and some crazy old man with white hair, known as Doc. This and their strange vehicle called the DeLorean... Leads to a strange possibility about what could have been....

emo jimmy mcgill/saul goodman au storyline (by me) FLASHING GIF

It's 1960, Jimmy is born. this same year, The Beatles are formed and (obviously) go viral across the universe (lol). Jimmy grows up listening to The Beatles and in 1967 he hears "I Am The Walrus" on the radio. Young Jimmy totally loves this weirdcore ass song and jams every time he hears it. Fast forward to 1984, Jimmy is 24, and Gray Matter forms. They release a post-hardcore "emo" album called "Food For Thought". Jimmy has been going crazy for a few years, getting into trouble, and listening to music that Chuck wouldn't agree with. He stumbles upon Food For Thought at the music store and buys a cassette. He dances all the way home. He gets to song 10 and hears a familiar sound...

He flashes back to being 7 years old, listening to "I Am The Walrus" by The Beatles for the first time. He hears Gray Matter shred the cover and he is fully converted to emo-ness. No more messing around...he will show Chuck who is slippin'!!!!! Meanwhile...a trio of scientists named Walter White, Elliot Schwartz, and Gretchen [Schwartz] are forming something...magnificent...Gray Matter Technologies...
