(PART 2) - WOLVERINE x READER x DEADPOOL — fuckup twinsies
dp&w spoilers!! + slight gore description --- part 1
Tumblr media
Okay, recap.
Your perfect little day in dimension-travel-jail was interrupted. You almost got knocked out by two muscular men who came down from the sky like little drunk angels, who in turn happened to be famous characters. You don't know how you didn't realize earlier, guess timeline hopping also slowly melts your brain. You should really get an MRI exam sometime.
You almost passed out again when you realized you were chest-to-chest with Deadpool. Wade Wilson. Heart to heart. Body to body. Tip to tip, if that applies to you.
"You're real. I'm real. We're real." You deadpanned, stars almost twinkling in your eyes. No, maybe it wasn't the first time you've met a Deadpool. But this guy? He was the real deal. The original. How the hell did an original end up here?
"Pfft, you thought we were just drawings on paper? Two of the world's sexiest men in skintight costumes? Wrong. We're the real deal here, friendo. Can I call you that? Or will you try to kill me? You know I really didn't mean to crash into you I rea--"
"Alright, listen here. Wade, shut up. You," Logan pointed a finger at him then at you, still being embraced by Wade. "Do you understand any of the...nonsense he's talking about? Because I don't, and I don't. Have. Time for this. It's either you help me get out of here or get out of my way."
"Woah woah woah, since when did that 'we' turn into 'me'?" Wade reluctantly let go of you to walk up to Logan, his hands landing on his hips. "You're not the only one trapped here, you know, we're kind of all in the same boat here. We all fucked up our lives and it was definitely our fault bu--ACK"
You gasped, watching in horror as three silver claws stabbed straight through Wade's torso and out his back. Logan stalked closer, his scowl deepening. "Come again?" He taunted, his teeth grinding. Before Wade could get a word out, Logan turned his hand, twisting the blades inside of him.
"G-owww, FUCK. God, I swear this happened differently in another universe. Somehow hurts more this ti--" Logan stopped him again and began lifting him up in the air. By the torso. With his claws inside, being the only thing holding him up.
Your eyes widened, "Hey, guys stop that! Logan!"  You yelled, taking a step forward, your hands held up in the air defensively.
Logan briefly glanced in your direction and grunted, tossing Wade to the side. “Move aside, bub. We need to settle some things.” Then he…lunged at Wade. They just started fucking fighting each other.
You backed up, watching everything go down. This could not be real. “I thought…you guys wanted out?” You muttered, your voice barely heard over their grunting and blades clashing.
“You know it’s true, so--argh, no hard feelings, right? Plus, I forgive you Wolvie.”
“I don’t give a damn about what you think, Wade. It’s all your fucking fault I was dragged into this. I was doing just fine without yo—“
“Just fine? You call spending all your days at bars and drinking all their supply just fine? While your life crumbles around you like a house of cards. If we were really on the TVA's watchlist, maybe they should've just sent us all to anger management sessions, huh?"
“Stop fighting!” You shouted in a voice heavy with irritation, grabbing a clump of sand from the ground and hurling it in their direction.
Logan, reacting instinctively, closed his eyes and shoved Wade aside, now choking and coughing violently. “What the hell?”
Simultaneously, Wade spun to face away, retching into the sand. “Oh god it’s inside of my mask. It’s in my face hole—“
Logan regained himself quicker than Wade, to where he immediately brushed aside the sand on his face and stomped towards you. You took a step back, by the sight of his fists clenched and white knuckles you swore he was about to beat you. “Waitwaitwait! I don’t have healing factor!” You rambled and held your hands out.
He paused in his tracks, his jaw visibly clenching as he tried to control his anger. Yeah, maybe he was used to taking out his frustrations on himself and now..Deadpool. But he couldn’t do that to you. You’re not even involved in whatever shit they got themselves into. You didn't deserve to get roped in their..mess, whatever it was. He let out an annoyed breath and swiveled away, seething internally. "I wasn't going to hurt you."
You slowly put your hands down, then looked around to see Wade still rolling on the floor. Upon hearing Logan, he snapped his head towards you both, the eyes of his mask widening. Before he could even get a little, tiny, miniscule word out, you spoke.
"ANYWAY...ehm..you both want out, yes? This is all one big mistake? I could help you. I've survived out here this long without being brutally killed." You forced a grin, facing the two. They blinked.
"Killed? What..who is in charge of killing here?" Logan narrowed his eyes.
Wade stood up to his feet, popping his wrist back into place. "There's--" His face under his mask soured, god he could still feel the sand particles crunching around between his teeth.
"ugh, there's others around? What kind of crazies would wanna live here?" He raised his arms, gesturing the vastness of this dystopian desert. Camera pans out, there's an echo to his voice, a tumbleweed passes by, you know what i mean
You scoffed, still very much salty about your own situation even though it's been years. "It's not like it was a choice. The only person could who take us out is Cassandra Nova, and she does not use her powers for that. She's basically with the freaking TVA, from what I know."
A singular laugh escaped Logan, his lips turning up in a knowing smirk, "Really now? How bad could she be?"
"Uh..let's see..multiple counts of murder, enslavement, power abuse, she's sadistic, evil, has a whole paragraph worth of powers. Unstoppable, basically?" You shrugged.
"I think we could get along."
"No, Wade."
"How do we get to her?" Logan crossed his arms. Perhaps he was the only one taking this seriously. You had gotten used to it already, but you too remembered how badly you wanted to leave this place at first.
"You two seem in a rush. "
"Yeah, well we're in a rush because I've got a whole-ass timeline to save, not to mention I also made a pinky swear to this guy over here. I promised the gruff-beard that I'd help him clean up his messy timeline, like a stain of last nights left ove-"
"Got it!" You exclaimed, interrupting him. "But uh, is that even possible? To..fix your guys' timelines, I mean."
"It better be," Logan glared at Wade. "Because otherwise, I'm going to tear you apart." He sneered, really making his point by leaning closer to him. These guys need to kiss already.
You nervously smiled. If another fight starts, you swear you were going to start ripping your own face off. "Okay! I know someone, guys! We'll all help eachother out, he's real nice, which means you probably won't like him--but he'll help! Follow me."
Oh, you knew someone alright. He was the most suburban-canadian guy you knew.

Nothing lasts forever
Lucifer Morningstar x Reader
[warning: cheating: angst: panic attack: implied death]
‘More than anything music box’
As you stood there, your heart felt as though it had stopped beating at that very moment. Your breathing started to slow down as your smile faltered and transformed into a frown. A look of profound sadness and sorrow took over your face as you gazed at the scene before you.
Your eyes were fixed on Lucifer, one of the most beautiful angels in all of Heaven, the one you had opened your heart up to and shared your deepest feelings with.
But now, you were witnessing him cheating on you with Lilith, the first woman and Adam's wife. The pain you felt was almost unbearable, as you watched the love of your life betray your trust and shatter your heart into a million pieces.
You could feel your throat closing as your breathing quickened. You felt sick to your stomach as if someone had punched you in the gut. You wanted to throw up. You wanted to scream. To cry, to disappear from existence. You couldn’t believe he’d do such a thing to you, were you not enough?
Were you not as beautiful as she is? Were you too clingy? To annoying? Why did he betray you and your trust?
He promised to always be by your side when you needed him, to always catch you when you fall. To be your shoulder to cry on. To never break your trust.
But here he was breaking that very promise and trust, leaving you feeling empty and hollow. The two of you were made for each other, and with the scene unfolding before you. Made you think otherwise.
“I love you, Lilith,” whispered Lucifer, as he stared at Lilith in awe kissing her on the lips.
Your whole world shattered as your back hit the tree, and you slid down onto the ground. Placing your hand over your mouth, muffling your wails. You couldn’t breathe and felt the world closing in on you. You were nothing to him. You sniffled quietly placing your head into your hands, and wept as you swiftly flew away.
You fell into a heap on the floor of your house, sobbing as you curled up into a ball. You saw everything and what you saw would forever be engraved into your memory, you’ll never get it out of your head. Seeing them like that, him like that with another woman. Made your stomach turn, how could he do such a thing to you?
“W- Was I not enough?” You whimpered, as you lay in the fetal position. Your face is red and puffy cheeks stained with tears, your heart aching and unbearable pain. You knew he felt what you were going through at this moment, and couldn’t care less to comfort you. Your love was bound and could feel each other's emotions when they became severe, and you knew for a fact he could feel it.
But didn’t care enough to comfort you. He was having too much fun with Lilith, doing things that he should only be doing to you his lover.
You thought he would never do such a thing to you. Never betray you and break your heart, and here he was ripping it right out of your throat. If he had noticed you would he have stopped? Would he have kept going? Taunting you, teasing you, on an act he’d never done to you. Such an act he’ll never do to you now.
You thought your relationship was good perfect even. Yes, you had the occasional fight but would always end up back in each other’s arms, holding each other lovingly. Feeling safe and secure in each other's warm embrace.
“I'm so sorry, my dear duckling," he whispered, pulling you close and showering your shoulder with gentle kisses. "Please know that I understand how you feel.”
"I forgive you, Luci," you said, enveloping him in a warm embrace and smiling through your tears as he held you. He pressed a tender kiss to your forehead and whispered comforting words in your ear, promising to make things right.
You banged your fist against the cold ground; gripping at the fabric of your clothes, as you cried. The tears didn’t seem to stop and wouldn’t anytime soon. You couldn’t breathe, the room around you started to spin. You felt dizzy and nauseous, feeling bile rising in your throat causing you to gag. You swallowed and gripped the side of your head.
You tossed it to the ground, screaming and crying in anger and frustration. “HOW COULD HE DO THIS TO ME!” You shouted, trashing everything that reminded you of him. You couldn’t stop crying, the things this man did to you. How he made you smile and laugh, how he made you fall head over heels.
You wanted to disappear and fade back into dust, your original form. To not be forced to live with this pain for all eternity, knowing that even after this you’d still love him. He’d come back and apologize slowly making up for it but…..
You stood there with the other angels, his siblings trying their best to comfort you. As you watched him be banished from Heaven, cast down with his new lover. Leaving you there alone in Heaven, with no shoulder to cry on.
You found yourself standing amidst a group of angels, feeling a sense of unease and trying hard to keep yourself composed. As you looked ahead, you noticed him standing before Lilith, his wings stretched out protectively, shielding her from any harm. The sight of him being so close to Lilith made your heart ache with a mixture of emotions.
You couldn't help but wonder if you were so unpleasant to look at that he couldn't even spare a glance in your direction. The whole situation left you feeling conflicted, and you couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy towards Lilith, who seemed to have his undivided attention.
As you stood there looking at him, you noticed that his gaze had shifted to meet yours. It was then that you saw a hint of remorse in his eyes, and you couldn't help but feel a wave of sadness wash over you. In that moment, a single tear trickled down his cheek, and you averted your eyes, unable to bear the intensity of the situation.
As you looked away from him, he noticed the tears that had welled up in your own eyes, and the hollow, defeated expression etched on your face. It was a moment of deep emotional turmoil for both of you, and the silence that hung between you was almost suffocating.
“Nothing lasts forever,” Azrael said, as he placed his hand on your shoulder squeezing it gently in reasurrance.
You shook your head and stepped outside of the courtroom, stopping at the stairs. You reached around your neck taking off the necklace, Lucifer had given you years ago.
You stared at it for a moment, opening it. A soft melody played, tears trickled down her cheeks as whisps of yellow magic swirled, around the locket music box. A duck swam in a pond while a swan, swam up next to it nuzzling their heads into each other.
As she witnessed the heartwarming scene unfolding before her, she couldn't help but let out a choked sob. A tearful smile graced her face as she watched the duck and the swan gradually transform into Lucifer and You, respectively. The two characters held each other closely, their embrace exuding a sense of comfort and security.
Lucifer, still holding onto You, took to the skies, flying around with exuberance. His laughter filled the air, and his smile was contagious. You, too, shared in his joy, reveling in the moment with him.
As they soared through the clouds, a vivid memory of their first kiss flashed before your eyes. You remembered how you had wrapped your arms tightly around his neck, and he had held you close to him. The moment had been magical, and it was a memory that you cherished deeply.
You smiled, closing the locket as a gust of wind blew the magic away, and you along with it, returning back to your original form to dust.

hot, sweaty bodies were pressed against you at all angles, nearly suffocating you. at this point you couldn’t even see the band playing on the stage, a sea of taller bodies now blocking your view.
when your best friend asked you to attend a metallica concert with her you didn’t exactly know what to expect.
but this definitely wasn’t it.
the small venue was packed, the air filled with the smell of sweat, marijuana and cigarettes. your choice of a leather jacket felt incredibly stupid as it was now tied around your waist due to the growing heat surrounding you.
your palms felt clammy as they clutched onto the hem of your friend’s shirt. the constant moving of the crowd seems to pull her farther and farther away from you. until the swirling pit of metalheads swallowed you both whole, losing sight of her head of blonde hair instantly.
your panicked shouts of her name were drowned out by the screech of an electric guitar— your body now being shoved around to the chants of ‘pounding out aggression.’ the song eerily fitting as you see a ringed fist connecting with another man’s jaw.
your heart is beating in your ears, that familiar feeling of panic washing over you as you continue to be shoved around like a rag doll amongst the group of men. until you somehow landed on top of someone… who had been knocked to the ground only moments before you.
before you have time to react a large hand quickly wraps around your forearm, yanking you up and out of the dizzying circle of death. you all but let the stranger carry you through the crowd. the male shoving past throngs of people until you’ve safely reached the back of the bar.
you barely register his voice as you lean against the brick wall, chest rising and falling at an embarrassingly fast rate. your eyes squeeze shut as you attempt to get your breathing under control. those same hands that pulled you out now rest carefully on your shoulders, helping to ground you.
“hey sweetheart, you alright?”
his face finally comes into focus as you blink your eyes open, your heart now beating against your ribs for a completely different reason.
he was painstakingly gorgeous, full lips lifting up into a soft, dimpled smile. “there she is— hey man can i get some water?”
he slaps his hand on the bar top, the clear liquid sloshing out as a glass is slid over to him. his chunky rings clink against the side when he grips it, now holding it up to your lips.
“it’ll help, trust me.” you gladly take the glass from him, gulping down the lukewarm tap water.
“thank you…” you mumble, setting the now empty glass back on the bar and wiping the corners of your mouth. you mentally forceyourself to stay put, despite the bigger part of you wanting to run out of the bar from sheer embarrassment.
“are you here by yourself?” he asks and you shake your head in reply before resting it against the brick wall behind you.
the brunette seems to be studying you while you take in some slow but shaky deep breaths. letting yourself do the same as your heart begins to return to a normal rhythm.
even in the muted light you can see his dark curls were damp with perspiration, bangs sticking to his forehead. no doubt from being in the middle of that pit for quite a while. his cut off band tee showed off an extensive collection of tattoos. that soft smile morphs into a small smirk, as you realize you’ve been gawking at him.
calming breaths long forgotten.
“you can g-go back out there… w-wouldn’t want to keep you from the show.” you fumble over your words, now finding the sticky floor and your beat up sneakers far more interesting than the gorgeous metalhead before you.
the male chuckles, casually resting his shoulder against the wall next to you. his hot breath fans over your cheek when he leans in closer, “not a chance, sweetheart. until we find your friends, you’re stuck with me.”
you glance back up at him, surprise crossing your features. you knew most people would gladly leave you behind in the shadows, especially considering the band that’s owning the stage. that sentiment alone makes the butterflies raging your insides flutter even faster. the chaos of the crowd is now forgotten as he grins sweetly down at you.
“i’m eddie, by the way.”
the music has seemingly gotten louder since the two of you left the crowd, now having to shout your name back in reply despite the lack of space between you. his smile only widens as you turn to face him fully, crossing your arms over your chest.
“and what is a fair maiden like yourself, doing in a place like this?”
you can’t stop the giggle from leaving your lips as he gestures dramatically around the dingy bar before his dark eyes are back on you.
“oh no reason at all… just needed a study break.” he can tell from the ride the lightning t-shirt adorning your frame that you’re teasing him, but he plays along anyway.
“so you stumble into a random metal concert, only to get caught in a circle of death? that’s quite the break, sweetheart.” he nudges your foot with his own, earning another giggle from you.
“something like that, yeah.”
he hums in response, running a hand through his unruly curls, “duly noted— i’ll have to take study breaks like that more often.”
the two of you quickly fall into easy conversation, no longer paying attention to the concert goers surrounding you.
despite having only met him less than half an hour ago, you both seem quite comfortable with each other. any embarrassment from your small panic attack now a fleeting memory as he tosses his head back with laughter. the sound warming you from the inside, out.
“gotta say i’m a little shocked, first show and you’re already hitting the pits like a pro.” he jokes, leaning in a little closer to you. the scent of his spicy cologne washes over you, making your head spin, “practically took that guy out by sitting on him.”
you groan in embarrassment, playfully shoving his shoulder as he laughs again.
“i’ll have you know i’m quite fond of the music… just not the…” you gesture towards the sea of bodies that are jumping, shoving and headbanging to for whom the bell tolls.
“moshing?” he finishes for you, as you nod sheepishly.
before he has a chance to say anything else, a loud squeal fills your ears as a body slams into you at full force. nearly knocking you over in the process.
“there you are, babes! i’ve been looking for you everywhere!”
earlier you would’ve been relieved to hear your best friend’s voice, but now you can’t help but feel a twinge of disappointment. hoping your emotions aren’t written across your face, but she doesn’t seem to notice. she’s a little too preoccupied with staring at the male leaning next to you.
“now who is this?” her tone is overly playful, wiggling her eyebrows at you suggestively.
before she can embarrass you further, you elbow her in the ribs. effectively stopping anything else from leaving her mouth besides a little huff.
“eddie munson, certified mosh pit rescuer at your service ladies.”
he does a little half bow, causing both of you to break into a fit of giggles.
“wow… a modern day knight in shining armor huh?” she teases but seems impressed nonetheless, “wish i had a hot guy to pull me out of there, i basically had to army crawl my way out.”
even in the shitty bar lighting you can see his cheeks are tinted pink from her compliment, nervously rubbing the back of his neck.
“it was nothing really, just happy to help.” he shrugs before pushing himself off the wall, sliding his hands in the pockets of his ripped jeans.
“modest too? where did you find him?” she gushes, gently bumping her hip into yours. “and does he have a brother?” she whispers that part to you, ignoring the way you roll your eyes at her.
“well i see you’re in good hands now, sweetheart, i hope you enjoy the rest of the show.”
as he turns to leave you feel your friend shove you forward, giving you a look that screams, ‘are you insane? don’t let him get away!’
“eddie, wait!” you shout, gently tugging on the male’s wrist before he gets too far. that dimple making another appearance as he turns back to you.
“miss me already?” eddie teases, fully enjoying the flustered look that crosses your features.
“i uh, i-i’d really like to thank my knight in shining armor properly… maybe over coffee?” you nervously chew on your lower lip, praying that you didn’t read this entire interaction wrong.
but seeing his face light up squashes any doubt, watching as he grabs a pen off the bar. holding the cap between his teeth as he takes your hand, scribbling his phone number onto your palm with a satisfied grin.
“looking forward to it, sweetheart.”
he mumbles, pressing a kiss to the back of your hand before disappearing into the rowdy crowd.

the door swings open just as you raise your hand to knock.
jungkook stands there, eyes wide, completely still. he was on his way to you. the minute you sent that text, he was more than ready to go through war to get you back. rain pours behind you in sheets, soaking through your clothes, but you barely feel it. how could you? all you can feel is your heart racing and how good it is to see him again.
before he can say a word, you take a shaky breath and let it out.
"marry me."
jungkook’s heart skips a beat.
for a moment, he’s not sure he heard you right. the rain is pounding so hard it feels like it’s muffling everything else. but the look on your face—it’s raw, desperate—there’s no mistaking what you said.
"w-what?"
"i did everything they wanted me to," you blurt out, the words coming faster now, like you’ve been holding them back for too long. "i studied the major they chose. i graduated like they wanted. but i can't... i can't leave you." your voice cracks, your hands trembling as they curl into fists at your sides.
the weight of everything you’ve been carrying is finally crashing down on you. jungkook stands there, rooted in place, his heart pounding as your words hit him like a freight train.
"they told me to break up with you. they said i couldn’t have both—you or them. i had to pick." you swallow hard, your voice rising with emotion. "they think you distracted me, that i never chose them over you. they hated it... they hated that i loved you more. they wanted me to walk away, said i’d never be successful if i stayed with you, that you were either too good to be true for me, or i'd live the rest of my life behind you and your success. i was scared. so, i listened... i listened, and i broke things off. but jungkook—"
your voice shakes, your eyes glistening, "i’ve never felt loved by them the way i feel loved by you."
his heart clenches, the guilt and confusion swelling in his chest as he processes the weight of your words.
"i did everything right. i raised my siblings, i paid for my school, i got all the scholarships for a degree they chose that i don’t even give a rats ass about..." your voice is shaking, raw with emotion, "there's so many things in this life i don't know what to do about—but one thing’s for sure... you're it, jungkook. i love you."
"___—"
"and they didn’t understand,” you huff. “so i left."
jungkook feels like the ground is shifting beneath him, part of him relieved that you’ve come back, but the other part devastated knowing how much you sacrificed.
"you… left?" he asks softly, his voice barely audible over the rain.
"i left," you say again, firmer this time, though your eyes are still pleading, still searching his face for some sign of hope. "i'm so tired of choosing between you and them... and it fucking pisses me off because it's not entirely about you, you know? it's about me, too. and i... i can't do this—not without you."
jungkook stands there, stunned, trying to process everything. part of him is relieved—he’s wanted you back, has missed you so deeply it hurt—but another part of him is consumed with guilt. you were drowning under your family’s pressure, and he let you go, thinking it was for the best.
he steps forward, reaching out to you. "come inside," he says softly, his hand brushing your arm. "let’s talk about this—"
but you shake your head, cutting him off, your voice trembling but fierce.
"no," you refuse. "not until you say you'll marry me. i need to know that i'm choosing right and that i put everything between my family and i at risk because you love me enough to—fuck. jungkook, i’m so sorry. i didn’t mean to put you down. if anything, you’re the only thing i held on to.”
your voice shakes.
then, a sob escapes your lips.
"f-fuck," you begin to cry. "jungkook, you are the only one who has ever made me feel like i'm enough."
jungkook’s breath catches, but there’s no hesitation in his eyes.
instead, a soft, almost relieved smile breaks across his face as he steps closer. his hands gently cupping your face, brushing away the wet strands of hair sticking to your cheeks.
"why couldn't you wait another hour?" he asks, voice low but steady, his thumb tracing the curve of your jaw. "i was gonna propose to you."
you attempt to smile. hitting his chest lightly, you pout.
“you propose like every month."
he leans his forehead against yours, his breath warm against your cold skin.
“yeah, i know," he whispers, his smile widening, "so fine. i guess i’ll marry you... since you're crying in the rain and everything—"
you let out a shaky breath, and hit him again. he laughs and crashes his lips onto yours, instantly feeling the weight of the past months finally lift.
in that moment, everything feels right.
... because it is.
Tumblr media
jungkook can’t get enough of you.
as you two tumble together in his bed, both of you still damp from the rain, his hands roam your body like they’ve been starved for too long. the past few months had been an agonizing stretch of absence, where all he had were fleeting memories and pictures—poor substitutes for the real thing.
and he knew it.
nothing beats this.
nothing compares to feeling your skin under his fingertips, the way your breath hitches when his lips brush the curve of your neck.
you bite his bottom lip playfully, pulling away just enough to catch your breath, your chest rising and falling quickly as you look at him with a glimmer in your eyes.
"your room is really clean," you murmur, the softest trace of a smile curling your lips. "were you expecting me over?"
jungkook snickers, a teasing glint flashing in his eyes. "my room is always clean," he quips, his hands still running up and down your back, savoring every inch of you.
you roll your eyes dramatically, propping yourself up on your elbows as you hover over him.
“this is exactly why my parents think you're too good for me."
the lightheartedness in your tone doesn’t sit right with him. jungkook’s face falls, his expression shifting as he shakes his head, not loving how quickly you’re turning the weight of the situation into a joke. his brows knit together, the tension in the air palpable.
“don't say that," he mutters quietly, a hint of frustration in his voice, but mostly concern. "you know that’s not true."
you shrug, but your sigh betrays the heaviness that lingers in your chest. the momentary playfulness drains from your face as the gravity of everything settles between you again.
he gently grasps your hand, intertwining your fingers with his, bringing them to his lips and pressing soft kisses along your knuckles. his gaze is intense but filled with a deep affection.
“i'm gonna marry you,” he says softly, his voice carrying a quiet conviction, as if it’s the most certain thing in the world to him. “but not until we figure your family stuff out first."
you open your mouth to protest, but before you can say anything, jungkook speaks again, his thumb rubbing soothing circles over your palm.
"i love you," he says simply, the words holding a quiet power, like a promise etched into the very air between you. "and i want you to have everything good in life. you know your parents love you… they’re just complicated. i’m okay with that… if complicated is what you come with, so be it. i’m okay with marrying into complicated. i just want you.”
the sincerity in his voice makes your chest tighten. you swallow hard, feeling the weight of his words and the tenderness behind them. he's not just offering you his love—he’s offering to shoulder your burdens with you, to walk beside you through whatever storms come your way.
“okay,” you whisper, your voice a little shaky as you nod, accepting his pitch, your fingers still tangled with his. “but… can i have some time to cool off?” your eyes search his, and you feel a lump forming in your throat. “i feel like i just need space right now. to breathe. to figure everything out in my own head.”
jungkook studies your face for a moment before nodding. “of course,” he murmurs, his hand squeezing yours gently.
a beat.
“take all the time you need... we have a lot of sex to make up for anyway.”
throwing your head back, you laugh. jungkook takes this opportunity to kiss your neck and behind your ear.
“should we start?”
Tumblr media
make up sex is always fun.
regardless if it was a silly argument or something as big as this break up—you and jungkok seem to always know how to make the fuck up.
“h-holy shit,” you moan.
jungkook has you bent over his bed as he stands behind you. his throbbing cock is inside and moves in more and more by the second. you hiss at the feeling but also can’t help but shut your eyes to the pleasure.
he gives you a moment to adjust.
“did you get bigger or something?” you breathe. “fuck, give me a minute.”
jungkook bites his lip, bringing his hands to your ass. he spreads them before slapping them, loving the way the redness shows up. his slap mark glows and so does his heart.
“if my dick got bigger, then so did your ass. holy fuck, ___.”
you snicker and angle your body to a more comfortable state. jungkook takes that as the signal, bringing his hands to your hair. he wraps them around, tightening his grip. he tugs your hair back, bringing you to lift your face to look up at him. he leans down to kiss you.
when he pulls away, he keeps on pulling your hair. he then begins to thrust himself in and out of you, causing you to gasp and moan his name.
jungkook continues to fuck you in this position for a hot minute. his hands go from your hair to your breast. he cups them, holding them like he’s afraid to let go. they then travel down your curves to your pussy where jungkook plays with your clit as he fucks you.
it feels so good.
when your pussy tightens and you’re about to climax, jungkook pulls himself out. he cums first.
he does a few backshots on you.
then, he holds you to lay down on the bed. quickly, he gets on his knees, pulling your legs over the edge and on top of his shoulders.
he digs his face into your swollen pussy.
without warning and without hestiation, he flicks his tongue on your clit. then, he drags it along the inside of your folds. he eats you out as you grip his hair. he spits and shoves his nose in the most surprising parts that make your breath hitch.
he’s kind enough to let you cum.
jungkook licks you up, loving the way you taste. it’s so familiar and so sweet. he can’t believe he lived without your delicious pussy for the past few months. it’s heartbreaking, really. he can’t believe you deprived him of such delight.
when he finishes you up, he spits on it once more before shoving his fat cock back inside you. he stands as you lay there, reaching for him. he shakes his head, denying you the closeness.
“cum fast like this and then let’s switch to missionary,” you demand. “need you close.”
like a good boy, jungkook listens.
he takes your hand and places it on his chest. slightly leaning forward, you’re able to feel his heart beat as he fucks you. it races and you swear you feel it skip a beat. jungkook looks at you the entire time, face wincing from the sparks of pleasure and built up tingles.
then, he cums.
the minute he does so, he pulls out and jerks himself on top of your stomach. with loving eyes, you watch as he spills himself.
as he leans in to kiss you, you wrap your arms around his neck and tug him down.
he smiles into the kiss as you move your way into the middle of his bed. you set him to lay below you and get on top. panting, he takes in the sight of you.
beautiful.
so fucking beautiful.
as you slip yourself in, you crash your body down. grinding and bouncing, you take all of him in. he moans as his hands go up and down your body. you keep yours in his hair or cupping his jaw. in between the fucking, you kiss him as often as you can.
he kisses you back, losing his breath way too fast.
“i love you,” he breathes.
“i love you too,” you exhale.
Tumblr media
jungkook wakes up to the soft glow of the kitchen light spilling into the hallway.
the quiet sounds of glass clinking and gentle movements pulling him from his sleep. groggy, he rubs his eyes and pads down the hall, stopping when he sees you standing at the counter, your back to him.
"what’re you doing up?" he murmurs, his voice raspy with sleep. “everything okay?”
you turn your head slightly, glancing at him over your shoulder with a small, tired smile.
"couldn't sleep," you reply, holding a glass of milk in your hand.
he moves closer to you.
"you're out of sugar, though," you add softly, almost as an afterthought. "my mom always gives me milk with a teaspoon of sugar when i can’t sleep… guess i’m looking for some comfort."
jungkook watches you for a moment, his chest tightening. there’s something about the way you say it—so casual, yet heavy with the weight of memories, of things unsaid. he can see it in your eyes, the storm brewing beneath the surface, even if you’re trying to hide it. without a word, he crosses the kitchen and wraps his arms around you from behind, pulling you against his chest.
you freeze for a second, the glass still in your hand, but then your shoulders sag, and the tears you’ve been holding back start to fall. they come quietly at first, a soft, shuddering breath escaping you as the dam breaks. jungkook presses his cheek against the side of your head, his arms tightening around you, like he’s trying to shield you from the weight of everything that’s been crushing you.
"it’s okay," he whispers, his lips brushing the top of your head. "i got you."
your body trembles in his arms as the sobs come.
your grip on the glass loosening until you set it down shakily on the counter. you press the heels of your palms into your eyes, trying to stop the tears, but it’s too late. the floodgates are open.
"it’s just… so hard," you choke out, your voice barely audible through the sobs. "i feel so guilty… choosing myself. i’ve spent my whole life trying to please them, trying to be the daughter they wanted, and now…" your words trail off, lost in the overwhelming emotions crashing over you. "i don’t even know who i am without their expectations anymore."
jungkook stays silent, holding you closer, his heart aching for you.
he doesn’t rush you nor does he try to fill the silence with empty words.
he just lets you cry.
jungkook lets you grieve for the years you’ve spent trying to live up to someone else’s vision of who you should be. he knows how complicated your relationship with your family is, the impossible choices they’ve forced you to make.
"it’s okay to choose yourself," he says softly after a while, his voice low and steady. "it doesn’t make you selfish. you’ve given so much to them… but you deserve to live for yourself, too. and this isn’t forever, okay? this is just for now. this feeling… this guilt—not being with them."
you lean back against his chest, your body still trembling, your eyes red and swollen from crying.
"but it hurts so much," you whisper, your voice fragile, like you’re admitting it for the first time. "it feels like i’m breaking apart. like i left parts of me behind."
jungkook’s hand moves to the small of your back, rubbing gentle circles there. "i know," he murmurs, pressing a kiss to your temple. "maybe you did… and that’s the truth, ___. they’re your parents. they’re not some ex best friend you have a few memories with… it makes sense that it hurts. it’s okay that it hurts… but you’re not alone. you’ve got me, and i’m not going anywhere. we’ll figure this out, together."
your breath hitches again, but this time, it’s different—a softer, calmer release. his words seep into you like warmth, easing the ache in your chest just a little. you turn in his arms, burying your face in his neck as he holds you, his fingers weaving through your hair.
"i love you," jungkook whispers against your skin, his voice a soft promise. "i love you so much, and no matter what happens with your family, no matter how hard it gets, we’ll get through it. i don’t care how complicated it is. you’re the love of my life and i will do anything to make you happy… it’s that simple."
you close your eyes, breathing in his scent, his warmth, the safety of his embrace. with his arms wrapped around you—everything feels a little less heavy, a little less overwhelming. even though you know what’s to come won’t be easy; you also know that being with him and choosing him will be the one decision you’ll never regret.
"everything will be okay," jungkook whispers, his voice like a lifeline. "we’ll make it okay."
and somehow, with him holding you like this, you believe him.

you're... me?
synopsis: the monster trio meet their older selves... but with a little spice
characters: luffy, zoro, sanji
genre: fluff, a little bit of cracks
warnings: a bit suggestive in sanji's part (bc you know... he's kind of a pervert)
masterlist. part two (coming soon)
Tumblr media
luffy :
"Huh?" the black haired pirate frowned in confusion when he opened his eyes, "Where am I?"
The Straw Hat pirates were looking down at their older captain who laid on the bed inside Chopper's office. The younger Luffy looked at his older self with a frown, inching his face closer to his older self, "You... you look familiar..."
Without a doubt, he was an older Luffy. But the real question was more... how the hell did he ended up here?
The older Luffy adverted his eyes away from his younger self, his eyes widening at the sight. It was his crew standing in front of him, but somehow they all looked younger...
"What happened- did we beat that guy?!" He straightened up suddenly, catching the pirates off guard, "Tell me, Zoro- Did I beat him?"
The older captain looked at the swordsman with big eyes, making the green haired look at his crewmates in confusion, "Well... since you're here right now... I'd say no- you didn't beat the guy"
"Wha..." Old Luffy frowned, but visibly softened when he made eye contact with a familiar pair of eyes. He straightened his arms wrapping them around your body, making you send a look to your favorite navigator, "(Y/n)!"
He threw himself on your body, almost knocking your over in the process. Older Luffy wrapped his legs around your waist clinging into you like a Koala, "(Y/n), you tell me... did I beat the guy?"
Your older captain hid his face in the crock of your neck, causing your present captain to glare at his older self, "I'm not sure, Luffy, but-"
"Luffy...?" The older captain pulled away from your neck looking at you with teary eyes, "Are you mad at me?"
The Straw Hat pirates looked at their older captain... was he really crying?
"W-What?! Of course not!" You softly replied trying to calm him down as he sat on the ground, "Why do you think that?"
"B-Because you never call me Luffy!" The older captain whined- and to think that your captain would've matured over the years...
"What do I call you normally then?" You asked, fumbling backwards when Luffy wrapped his arms around your waist once more.
"You don't remember...?" Luffy quietly spoke, "You always call me love... or darling."
You blinked repeatedly in surprise. Do you really call your captain 'love' in the future?
Sanji almost fell on the ground at the revelation, putting two and two together. Zoro smirked slightly when he finally understood, he sent a knowing look at his present time captain as he asked, "And how do you call her, Luffy?"
"Hah?" The older Luffy frowned at the swordsman, "What do you mean, Zoro? I call her "(Y/n)" obviously! That's her name after all!"
Robin slyly smirked at the two, "And... what did you say your relationship with (Y/n) was?"
"She's my girlfriend!" Older Luffy stated proudly, "But you know that... you're the one who told me to confess-"
With a quick punch, the older Luffy got thrown away from you landing on his face as he hit the ground. The present time Luffy slowly walk in front of you, tightly clenching his fists, "Who the hell do you think you are?!"
The older Luffy jumped up, titling his head to the side, "I'm Luffy! The King of the-"
"I am Luffy!" Young Luffy pointed at his older self, "Clearly you are just a weird me- So you can't just hug her like that! We don't even know you!"
"Don't know me?!" Old Luffy walked so that he was now face to face to his young self, "She's my girlfriend you idiot- so back the hell up-"
"Luffy..." Usopp spoke up, placing a hand on his young captain's shoulder, "Let me explain something to you."
After what seemed like an eternity, young Luffy finally understood the situation. Much to his older self dismay- "Let go of her!- Hey don't touch me!-
The older Luffy was being held back by Zoro and Franky as he disparately tried to get his younger self off you.
"No." Young Luffy cockily smiled at him, his body pressed unto you with his face pressed against your chest, "She's my (Y/n)- so go find yours!"
Tumblr media
zoro :
"Hah? You two aren't dating yet? Shit my bad."
The older green haired swordsman fakely apologized to his younger self and the pretty girl beside him.
You snapped your head to look a the present Zoro, your face turning into one of disgust.
"Dating?!" The flirty cook was glaring at the older swordsman from afar, not believing that the two of them could possibly bee dating in the futur, "And you expect us to believe that Marimo?!"
It was no secret for anyone, you and Zoro hated each other's guts. So the idea of the two of them dating was kind of hard to believe.
"Eh?" The older Zoro glared at the younger cook, "I don't care if you believe me or not! You, come with me." The older swordsman then grabbed the collar of his younger self, ignoring his complains as he pulled to a more isolated place of the Sunny away from the loud crew.
"The hell you want, old man-?" The young Zoro asked as they came to a stop.
The older swordsman took a deep breath, gripping harder on his younger self collar, "I want you to listen carefully to what I'm about to say, kid."
"Kid-?!"
"If you mess up what I have with (Y/n) now, I swear on her life that I will find a way to hurt you and make you regret it, are we clear?"
The two swordsman stared are each other, before the younger one broke their eye contact, "How did you... you know?"
The older one laughed loudly when his younger self looked away from him with the red on the tip of his ears, "How did I get with her you mean?"
"You know what- if you're here to laugh I can just-"
"Woah there kid- It was just a joked!" The older Zoro sighed happily, turning his gaze to look at the quiet sea, "I bought her a necklace."
"A necklace." The younger Zoro deadpan at his words, what type of cliché thing was that?!
"I asked Robin to tell me what my birthstone was... and well I bought her a necklace with a green topaz and she never took it ever since..."
The younger Zoro nodded at himself as if doing he was taking notes mentally. The older swordsman sighted once more, "Just don't be scared to show her how you feel- She's kinda oblivious so you're gonna have to tell her that you love her, though"
"Heh?! Who said that I loved her, old man?!"
"You're my mini me, idiot! Obviously I know how you feel!"
Tumblr media
sanji :
"Is she- Is she as beautiful as we imagined?"
"Oh~ She's 10 times better then we imagined"
You stood beside Nami with a disgust expression on your face, "I think I'm gonna throw up."
"Pleaseeeee," The pretty ginger laughed, "As if you're not happy that you're dating the love of your life in the future."
"Nami. I told you that when I was drunk!" You hit her shoulder, "You can't use that against me!"
The young Sanji dropped on his knees in front of you, taking your hands in his, his usual charming smile plastering his face. "(Y/n)~ my sweet, beautiful angel please date me-" He got interrupted by his older self.
"You're doing it wrong." He pulled young Sanji off his knees, "Let me show you how to do it."
The older Sanji walked over you, taking your hand in his, while his other arm sneaked around your waist pulling you closer to him. Sanji's blue eyes flickered between your eyes and your mouth, "You have the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen, my love..." He then leaned closer to your lips so that yours and his were brushing against each other.
"You're just... so mesmerizing-"
"Alright!! I get it! Get off her!" The younger Sanji ripped you away from his older self, pulling you against his clothed chest. "You can go back to see your future (Y/n)- this one's mine."
"I was just teaching you the basics, Sanji! No need to get all protective- I get to touch my (Y/n) all the time and anywhere!" Older Sanji lit up the cigarette in his mouth, "But if you want a real tip, take her on a stargazing date, tell her how beautiful she is- because you really are, my angel- and how badly you love her- AND then touch her however you'd like!"
"Watch your mouth!" Nami yelled at the older Sanji. Her eyes then drifted to her two friends who refused to even laid an eye on each other, "huh?"
"Don't worry, love," The older cook reassured the pretty ginger, "I assure you that (Y/n) is more than happy to be with me..."
"Really...." The navigator trusted Sanji with her life- she just didn't trust him with a woman- especially not when the woman is her best friend.
"Yeah," The older man chuckled as he watch his younger self starting to talk to you with blood oozing out of his nose, "She even asked you to be her maid of honour last week- I mean... In three years or so, she'll ask you to be her maid of honour... So have some faith in me, yeah?"
"Her maid of honour...?" Nami looked over at you, your face redder than normal as the younger Sanji whispered sweet nothings in your ears.
"Angel?" the younger cook spoke in your ears as he placed a hand ion your cheek, "Would you like to go stargazing with me tonight?"
You laughed quietly at his words, "Is that a subtle way of asking the permission of touching m-"
"Of course not!" Sanji straightened himself, "You're so much more than a pretty body... Everything about you is just amazing-"
"Ah what a shame..." "Why's that, my love?"
"I would've given you the permission to touch me~"
"(Y/n)! You can't say stuff like that! He'll bleed out!" Chopper yelled as her tried to stop the bleeding from the cook's nose.
"I'll see you tonight, my sweet angel~" Sanji screamed with heart eyes, ignoring the fact that he was bleeding out.
"No you won't!"

Another prompt/ask for Fancy! Scenario where Daughter!Darling gets into a courtyard fight with somebody from her school?
Like I’m talking fists flying, scratching, maybe even hair pulling!
Like, who in the Batfam would be horrified to see her come home bruised and who would be immensely proud to see that she beat the other kid to a bloody pulp?
From 🪼
Yandere Batfam w/ Wife/Mother!Darling & Daughter/Sister!Darling Masterlist
The question is who would be the least horrified/concerned
Bruce gets the call from the principal right around lunch time, he is supposed to be in a meeting but then he gets told his daughter was in a fight and he immediately goes to the school only to find his daughter sitting outside the principal’s office with Damian next to her because the principal left him to watch her. Bruce honestly expected a trip to the hospital to check for concussions, but his daughter looked fine besides a few bruises, and then the other kid and his parents come out of the office, the parents look pissed and the kid looked terrified and was the one who probably needed stitches.
Bruce definitely looked like he got a few grays sitting in the principal’s office with Damian and his daughter. She had gotten in a fight at lunch, apparently the other kid said something to her that pissed her off and it ended up in that kid getting beat up, really beat up. Then when she was being brought to the office Damian spotted her and tagged along, demanding an explanation for her, and Damian was pissed because no she is not supposed to get in fights, he was supposed to protect her, she is supposed to be helpless.
Bruce pays for the other kid’s medical bills and takes her home after she was suspended and oh my she is very much in trouble. It is that type of scene where he scolds her in the car, she is a member of their family now, she has to behave. Damian does not pick fights at school, and he was raised by assassins, so there is no justification that she should either. She is sent to her room and needless to say she is grounded for a very long time.
Seeing as she already spends most of her time in her room in the manor and her mother does not side with Bruce on her actions, it really won’t get the point across. So after some mulling it over, Bruce talks to Dick and she is told that she is going to be staying with Dick in Blüdhaven during the rest of her suspension and probably then some, doing online classes.
The punishment isn’t the fact that she has to stay with Dick but the fact that she won’t have her mom with her. Dick is not as harsh on his little sister, actually getting her to let her guard down and have fun, especially with a little help from Haley. Honestly he understands, her whole life had changed because of them in the blink of an eye, she is not a vigilante in a family full of them, she just is a child and she deserves to be a child instead of just having a bunch of pent of rage and that kid was just the one who popped the lid on the enviable. Honestly for awhile she forgets about a lot her problems with Dick taking her out to see the city during the day and bond with her and tucking her into bed with Haley before he going off on patrols during the night, he doesn’t really need to worry about her running away, he lives in the middle of the city of Blüdhaven, the crime is bad enough that she won’t go running off.
Tim will probably stop by to watch their little sister during the day when Dick has to go into his day job and he is definitely a bit torn up. He certainly is not happy about the fact that do to her actions she is out of the manor until she learns her lesson (not like she wants to be there anyway), but he understands she needs to learn to let her guard down around them so she does not keep her emotions so pent up so this does not happen again. When she starts school work online again, Tim is the one making sure she does it, sending reminders to Dick to check up on her work (he would text her but her phone was taken after she got suspended), or sitting by her when Dick is busy and he is watching her and making sure she is working and helping her out. He is the one who is trying her to break down her walls the most so this can all be over with and she can come back home and…
It doesn’t work that easily.
When she is out at the park with Dick and Tim, taking Haley on a walk after Dick got back from work and before they went on patrol, Dick brought up the idea of family traditions since she must have had some with her mother and since they all are a family now…
“No, we’re not a… you’re not my family.”
Just when they thought they have made so much progress, her hand threatens to slip away from Dick’s grasp, but he squeezes her hand tight and he drags her back to his apartment, Tim trailing closely behind.
Jason is the last to have to deal with this situation after this last incident. He comes to see her while everyone is out on patrol, climbing through the window of Dick’s apartment, taking off his helmet, and sitting down next to her and breaking down for her as much as he can. He knows she does not want to be here and there is no changing the fact that she is not going to be leaving them, if she just pretends to be happy and get along with people things will actually be happier for her, they will never be totally ideal, but they could be flexible if she follows the rules like no fighting at school, let them be older brothers and a father to her, just behave, act her age, and be a part of the family. Just work with them and they will work with her.
She agrees, Jason isn’t one to keep up the delusion, he just does not want to see her hurt anymore, he is a protective yandere by the very definition. Because she agrees he may or may not teach her some self defense moves that Bruce didn’t want her knowing, just to be able to hold her own when need be and not give a kid a bloody nose, if he really deserves that her brothers will take care of it.
(I am also imagining the aftermath of the meeting with the principal, Bruce stressed out and Mother!Darling being like, “hm, maybe she would be a better Robin than your boys-“ “no.”)

it’s steddie yearning hours
🤍 also on ao3
It’s a little fucked up, maybe, the way Eddie can’t seem to tear his eyes away from Steve‘s sleeping form. He’s a sight to behold — curled up on his side, making himself as small as he can; his hair is a mess, hiding his face from the world but not from Eddie, not quite. The room is dark except for the light of the lamps outside that comes in through the blinds, landing right on Steve, and Eddie thinks how fitting it is that Steve would be found by the light even in total darkness. He would be found and unaware of it.
And Eddie Munson is left to lean against the doorframe, arms crossed in front of his chest like that would save his heart, keep it where it is, keep it for himself. He shouldn’t be looking at Steve like that. Not when they’re hardly even friends, not when what they have is only remnant of a world ending. A world saved. A world forever changed.
He sighs, leaning his whole weight against the frame, clenching his fists in his t-shirt, doing everything to stop himself from stepping closer to the bed, running fingers through Steve‘s mess of hair, brushing lips to his forehead and climbing in bed with him.
The doorframe holds his weight, his sanity, his heart, and Eddie slides down with another heart sigh that the poets would have called wistful. Yearning. Longing and belonging.
He hits the ground and hopes that it would break the haze. But nothing can. There’s a heaviness inside him that makes it hard to breathe and leaves him wishing that Steve weren’t in his bed, in his heart, in his life. Not like this.
He wants to be friends with Steve. Real, actual friends. People who don’t have to hold each other through nightmares, people who go to the arcade together and make fun of each other. Who exchange their favourite tapes and go on trips together.
He doesn’t want to be bonded to him by trauma and horrors unimaginable alone. He wants to fall in love slowly, gently, wants the secret smiles and the fluttering inside his chest that he overheard the girls at school talking about.
He wants another chance with Steve. Another try. Without monsters, without death and dying, without saving and being saved. He wants Steve Harrington to choose Eddie Munson for who he is, not for what they went through.
He wants Steve to choose. To have a choice.
Breathing through a lump in his throat has become second nature to him lately, and he finally looks away from this boy that has yet to drop the other shoe on Eddie.
After who knows how long, Steve stirs, stretching with an adorable little groan until he stills, his eyes on Eddie. He can feel them. He doesn’t look up to meet them, can’t be responsible for whatever Steve would find in his eyes.
“Hey,” he hears, Steve’s voice incredibly soft despite the rasp of disuse that’s marking it.
Eddie shivers a little and finally looks up. “Hi.” A beat. You’re beautiful. “Sleep well?”
“Mm-hmm,” Steve nods, yawns again, then curls up some more on his side, scooting over to the edge of the bed so he can better see Eddie. “How long was I out for?”
Two hours, forty-eight minutes. “‘Bout two and a half hours,” Eddie says, smiling when Steve’s eyes widen. “There’s dinner. If you’re hungry.”
He’s holding his breath, shallow as it is, because his lungs cannot be trusted around Steve anymore. Not with the way he smiles every time Eddie makes dinner. Not with the way he hides said smile behind the blanket a little bit, like he doesn’t want Eddie to see, like he can’t believe he’s smiling in the first place.
Eddie wants to get up and hold him. Trace that smile with his fingers. Make it stay.
What are we doing, Steve? What are you still doing in my life? Why did you make yourself a home like it’s worth staying here?
Slowly, still a little clumsy from his prolonged nap, Steve gets up with the blanket in his hands and drops it on Eddie’s lap. Must have mistaken his shivers for being cold. Then Steve steps over him, ruffles his hair as he does, and Eddie wants to cry a little bit at the way Steve snickers at it. He’s ridiculous. Eddie is ridiculously gone for him. It hurts more than it should.
“You hungry, too?” Steve asks, fingers finding Eddie’s hair to comb through the curls he just messed up. Eddie doesn’t have it in himself to move his head, to put a distance between them, to confront Steve about what this is, what they’re doing, what it all means.
All he does is nod — slowly, so Steve’s fingers stay where they are. They do. Eddie pinches his own fingers to stop from reaching out and snatching Steve’s hand, bringing it to his lips, making him stay. Stay here. Stay in his life forever. Stay and never realise that there’s no reason for him to do that.
He meets Steve’s eyes even though that’s dangerous business. “Starving.“
Steve’s face does this thing again. That thing where he softens so visibly, his eyes shining a little, his lips twitching into both a smile and a frown. It’s mortifying. It’s liberating. It’s being seen by Steve.
“You didn’t have to wait, Eddie.” His voice is soft. Chiding and grateful all at once, and Eddie’s heart flutters.
“I know,” he shrugs, and that’s that because he bites his tongue. I wanted to. I’ll wait. I’ll always wait.
Steve huffs and then he’s gone, rummaging around in the kitchen before he reappears with two plates of lasagna in his hands. Instead of asking Eddie to come join him at the table or settling back in bed, Steve hands one plate to Eddie and then slides down the other side of the doorframe so they’re face to face, their thighs pressed together. It’s a tight fit, but their bodies are angled just so, making this as comfortable as it gets.
It’s one of the first things they figured out together, sitting in the door like this. Wayne comes home sometimes to find them like this, even joined them on some occasions. Just to talk, just to be there.
Steve reaches over to grab the blanket again, draping it over both their laps, and Eddie shoves a large forkful of lasagna into his mouth to stop himself from saying something stupid.
What are we doing? When does it end? When is the last time I get to sit with you, share my blanket with you, get you to eat my lasagna? Tell me; just tell me so I can prepare. Tell me you won’t stay so I can stop dreaming.
They eat in silence and Steve’s eyes are on him for most of it, but Eddie doesn’t look up. It’s heavier tonight, heavier than usual. Heavier because Steve’s cheeks are streaked with the imprint of Eddie’s pillow, heavier because his hair is a wild mess, heavier because Eddie wants to breathe him in and hold him forever.
But Steve is awake, and they only hold each other when they have a nightmare. Because that’s why they are in each other’s lives. There is no room for feelings, for romance, for yearning when their smiles only exist to keep each other alive.
“Are you okay, Eddie?” Steve whispers, his plate empty while Eddie barely touched his own, too busy not looking at Steve that he forgot to be a person in the process. It’s nothing new, really, but he’s gotta get a grip.
“Yeah.”
“Yeah?”
See, that’s the thing about Steve. He always gives you two chances to say something. The first try for all those impulse answers, the things you wish for yourself, the hand wave of dismissal. And then the second chance without judgment.
And Eddie loves him. Can’t lie to him again, so he just shrugs. His second chance not yet taken. Steve bumps their knees and Eddie’s eyes water. He eats his lasagna with stinging eyes and slightly shaking hands, because Steve can’t know. But Eddie might explode if he doesn’t.
“Wanna go for a walk?”
And, see, that’s another thing about Steve Harrington and the way he sees you. He knows Eddie hates being still, can’t talk when he’s sitting down. Can’t talk about anything meaningful when the world is quiet and dark and still.
Steve knows what Eddie needs. And it’s a little fucked up, maybe, but Eddie knows that Steve secretly needs it, too.
And he should say no. Should swallow his emotions, his thoughts, his fears, his aching and yearning and longing and belonging, should swallow it all and smile it away, bump his knee into Steve’s and propose they watch a movie together.
But he doesn’t. He can’t swallow tonight, not when there’s a lump in his throat, not when Steve is so warm against him, not when—
“Okay,” Steve smiles, climbing to his feet. “Let me go get ready, you finish your lasagna. Can I, uh. Can I borrow a sweater?”
“You know you don’t gotta ask.”
Another smile and he ruffles Eddie’s hair again. It makes his heart jump. “Thanks, man.”
“Of course,” Eddie whispers, barely audible, and not for Steve’s ears, just for his own need to say something. Anything. To make this real.
Ten minutes later, Eddie closes and locks the trailer door beside him and they start walking. The night is quiet even though it’s only just past eleven, and it’s a tad colder than Eddie expected. Beside him, Steve sticks his hands into the pockets of his jacket, fluffing up the hood of Eddie’s sweater so it covers his neck from the light breeze. Feeling Eddie’s eyes on him, Steve smiles and cocks his head down the street.
“Shall we?”
Eddie only hums but sets the pace. They’re both looking down at the ground, neither of them really caring where it is they’re going. It’s not about getting anywhere, it’s just about moving. Walking. Talking without looking at each other, finding excuses and answers in the night sky and the swaying treetops.
They walk in silence for a good half hour before Eddie finds his courage, his words, his peace with the possible answers. The night can cover for him and convince the daylight of little white lies that sound a lot like, I’ll be fine.
“You know you don’t have to do all this, right?”
Beside him, Steve’s steps falter a little. Maybe he didn’t expect Eddie to talk after all. “Do what?”
“This, I don’t know,” Eddie sighs, opening his arms to indicate the entirety of his life, really. “Sticking around. Staying.”
Steve frowns a little but he keeps his steps in sync with Eddie’s. That’s the whole point of their little nightly walks. No stopping, no looking, no seeing.
“Do you not want me to?”
God, how he wants Steve to stay! But also… Not like this. Not like he thinks Eddie might break if he leaves. Which Eddie will. But it shouldn’t be what makes Steve stay.
And there’s no way to say that. So all he does is shrug.
There’s a little pained noise from Steve, and Eddie scrambles for words that evade him, truths that make him too vulnerable, too real, too much.
“Okay,” Steve says after a while, and he sounds so small when he does. Eddie looks over and sees him pinching the bridge of his nose, nodding slowly, his mouth opening and closing with words unsaid. “Do you… Should I go home?”
Maybe you should, Eddie thinks. Get back to people you can be friends with; real friends.
“Maybe,” he says, slowing to a stop, looking away from Steve. “But I don’t want you to.”
“I… Okay? I don’t—“ Steve sighs and stops as well. “If it bothers you that we’re friends, then you can just—“
“Are we?” Eddie interrupts him, wincing at the way his own voice sounds. “Are we?” he repeats, quieter this time, opening up the question to honesty and vulnerability rather than disbelief and challenge.
Steve frowns again, confused, and Eddie remembers why they don’t do this in the quiet of his room; why they don’t do this while looking at each other. He can’t look at Steve and ask these questions. It’s too much.
So he turns and keeps walking, following the familiar road they’re on. Steve follows, a bit behind, and it leaves Eddie feeling horribly alone.
“You know,” Steve says after a while, scoffing, sighing, breathing until he tries again. Eddie waits. Here comes the other shoe. It’s finally there. “You know, I should be used to it by now, but it doesn’t really stop hurting when people keep questioning your intentions. With the kids, I kinda get it. There’s, like, years separating us. I get it when they’re hesitant to call me their friend.
“And with Robin, you know, she spent weeks after Starcourt just waiting for me to drop her. To be like, ‘Alright, thanks, it was good while it lasted but you’re an actual nerd and I don’t care for that shit at all.’”
Steve laughs and Eddie frowns, No laugh should sound so hollow.
“I had no idea she was so obsessed with the idea of me leaving her. She didn’t trust that I would stick around, that I actually loved her, that she’s my best friend and— God, she… I just, I don’t get it, y’know?”
Steve turns around because Eddie’s steps had slowed while Steve sped up, and Steve is walking backwards with his hands in his pocket, looking at Eddie with a hurt, confused expression.
“And now you’re telling me you don’t want me to stay and that I should go home, but that you don’t want me to do that either? You’re asking me if we’re friends, Eddie? What the hell else would we be? I’m…” He shakes his head and spreads his arms. “What do I have to do for anyone to believe me I just wanna spend time with them because they’re cool and I feel really fucking good being around them?”
Eddie doesn’t wanna look at Steve, but he can’t look away either. They’ve stopped again, a few feet apart, and Steve looks so open, ready for Eddie to answer, to tell him, to talk, when all Eddie wants to do is run away. Run to him. And he can’t do either. Can’t tell him.
“It’s not that,” he says lamely.
He gets to watch as Steve’s face scrunches up, crumbles, and then falls until there’s nothing left. His expression empty.
“I’m going home now, Eddie.”
“Why?”
Steve shakes his head and swallows. “Because I’m hurt. And confused. And I don’t wanna talk anymore, not when you don’t.”
And with that, Steve turns around. Walks down the road, disappearing into darkness until the next street light catches him. Attracting light even in darkness.
And Eddie breaks finally. He runs down the street, halfway catching up with Steve until he’s close enough to make sure the other boy can hear him.
“I’m terrified,” he says, making Steve stop. He doesn’t turn around yet, but it’s enough for Eddie to keep going. “I’m so fucking terrified that you only think you have to be my friend because we nearly died together. Terrified that you’ll leave because this thing between us is so heavy, loaded with trauma and memories. I’m terrified that you won’t come over anymore one day, that you’ll be done, that you’ll find friends that are not bonded to you like I am. Or like the kids and Robin and the rest are. I’m… Stevie.”
His voice breaks a little and he approaches Steve’s form, the light catching in his hair, making Eddie feel like a moth on his way to the flame.
“I wonder if we’re friends not because I doubt you. It’s because I know I have nothing to offer you. Nothing but, like, an open ear for your memories or open arms for your nightmares. Nothing but shared memories, which I know are only a fraction of what you’ve been through. That’s not how friendship works, Stevie, that’s not what will be enough in the long run.”
He sighs, rounding Steve until he’s in front of him, but Steve’s looking down at the pavement.
“I want to be your friend, Stevie. But I have this gnawing feeling that that ship has sailed.”
Steve shakes his head when Eddie is done. Says something he can’t quite catch.
“What was that?” Eddie asks, his voice tender, his eyes watery, his breath heaving. He hates being so vulnerable, but he hates even more the thought that Steve would just leave and think Eddie never cared for him.
“You make me dinner,” Steve says then.
He sniffles. Reaches for Eddie’s hand until he seems to think better of it. Eddie feels the emptiness, the cold air on his skin, and longs to be brave enough to take Steve’s hand now. He isn’t. But he thinks about it. He thinks about it all the time.
“You make me dinner and let me sleep in your bed. You make me smile and when I’m at work, I think about you sometimes, just to think nice thoughts. I don’t… There’s nothing you have to do, Eddie. You don’t have to do or be anything to be my friend. And I don’t want you around me just because you know what it’s like to drift off in your head, or just because you don’t question it when I can’t talk. I want you around because you make me laugh and you make me happy and if I could get paid for spending my days with you and with Robin, I would do nothing else in life. Because you, Eddie Munson, are good. And you’re enough. You’re a dork and a nerd and a fucking menace, and you’re kind and good with the kids and you’re a great friend. A great friend, Eddie, fuck!”
Steve is crying, but that’s okay because so is Eddie. Sincerity is scary, scarier than facing down the demo-bats, scarier than telling Wayne he’s queer, scarier than just about anything he’s ever done. But it also allows him to take Steve’s hand and pull him against his chest.
It makes him laugh when Steve sounds so frustrated when he says, “I don’t know why I’m crying.”
It makes him pull back and wipe away the tears from Steve’s cheeks, ignoring the ones on his own.
“It’s okay, sweetheart.”
He hums in surprise when that makes Steve lean in again, hiding his face in Eddie’s neck.
“I’m… I don’t know what to say,” he whispers into Steve’s hair.
“‘S okay,” Steve says. “That was, uh, a lot.”
Eddie laughs, feeling light and elated and a little hazy, the words still catching up with him, his limbs tingling with sensation just thinking about Steve thinking about him at work.
It does nothing to dissuade him from yearning and aching and longing to brush a kiss to Steve’s hair that is so close to him now. His hand comes up to the back of Steve’s neck, and the world slows down. Steve’s breath hitches, and Eddie’s heart jumps.
“I’m… I’m gonna say something, too, okay? Gonna try, at least. Stop me whenever, okay?”
Steve doesn’t react, but his hands begin to move in slow, minute movements along Eddie’s back. It gives him courage. Makes him dream.
He closes his eyes and draws in a deep breath. “I make you dinner because I like to take care of you. I let you sleep in my bed because… because it’s gonna smell like you. I like the way you smell. I make you smile because that makes me stupidly happy. Stupid, really. You make me a little stupid sometimes, Stevie. Because I want to be your friend more than anything in the world, but lately I also… I wanna climb into bed with you and hold you even when there’s not a nightmare. Just to hold you. I wanna tuck that rebellious strand of hair behind your ear just to touch you. I wanna touch you all the time, Steve. It’s a little crazy. Drives me crazy.“
He sighs and goes for the kill because they’re in too deep now, he can’t stop. Steve knows anyway, Eddie is sure, but he wants Steve to hear, too. He wants to say it. Wants to make it real.
“I wanna kiss you,” he breathes, and it’s too real for even the night to disguise it later. “All the time. And you should know that. You should know that maybe we can’t be friends after all.“
The words leave his mouth and he’s ready for Steve to push him away, to let him down gently with regret in his face and repeat his words from earlier, let go and go home like that would solve Eddie’s predicament.
But Steve doesn’t move from the tight embrace. Or, the doesn’t move away.
His hands on Eddie‘s back begin to wander more, leaving goosebumps along the way from his shoulder blades to his hips. His face where it’s tucked against Eddie‘s neck turns slightly until his nose connects with his collarbone. Steve straightens and his nose is replaced by his lips, connecting with Eddie‘s throat, his neck, his jaw.
And then Steve pulls back. Looks at Eddie with hooded eyes, hands moving from his shoulders to his jaw. Cradling Eddie‘s face like he’s something precious.
Eddie is holding his breath, tracking Steve’s every motion, not daring to move or even breathe too deeply lest he scares him off, breaks the spell, bursts the bubble.
Steve swallows and looks down at Eddie‘s lips. “What if I told you that I wanna kiss you all the time, too?”
“Then I would call you crazy.”
Steve smiles and leans in to rest his forehead against Eddie’s, breathing into the night, “Call me crazy, then.”
“You’re crazy.”
It’s the last thing Eddie says for a while before he tilts his head forward to capture Steve’s lips with his own. Steve hums and smiles into the kiss, opening his mouth to let Eddie in deeper, holding him so close there’s no room for doubts or regrets.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
After watching the animation, I felt uncomfortable and had thoughts about handcuffs. just found a reason to be handcuffed and spanked by Wriothesley 🥵🙏💦💦
CW: yandere, forced imprisonment, abuse of power, non-consensual spanking, humiliation
For a whole week… you were uncooperative, stamping your feet in front of Wriothesley's face, arguing with him, or responding with perfunctory- "yes-yes", "got it.", "you're right again anyway". Why? He keeps you in this underwater prison and factory, restricting your freedom. He smiled lightly and gracefully, patting you on the head as if you just weren't mature enough. Like just punched the pillow with his fist, it was completely useless. The anger in your chest burned even brighter.
You were sulking that day, slowly poking at the food with your fork in the cafeteria, thinking about how to escape the Fortress of Meropide. A young and sweet voice sounded next to you. "You look unhappy. Cheer up. Want a milkshake?" "No, thank you." You replied quickly, without even glancing at who the person was. In the corner of your vision, a blue milkshake approaches you, and you turn around irritably.
"I told you no…" Inadvertently, your elbow touched the cup, and the whole cup fell to the ground and broke. You were startled to realize that it was the head nurse, Sigewinne. Guilt builds in you, and you're about to apologize and pick up the pieces, but you hear that annoying voice - Wriothesley's. His boots appear before you. "Wow, what a big scene. Do you mind explaining it?"
Sigewinne waved her hand and raised head to look at Wriothesley. "I'm fine, Your Grace."
Rebellion takes a place in your heart. You swallowed your apology and sneered. "I broke it."
Wriothesley raised his eyebrows. "Really? Well, come to the office with me. Sigewinne, don't pick up the debris. I will ask people to clean it." Sigewinne gave you a worried look and explained. "It's really just an accident, not intentional, Your Grace…"
"Don't worry." He gave a reassuring smile. "Just going to the office to chat."
Tumblr media
As soon as you entered the office, you heard the door being locked. Your heart skipped a beat, but you still maintained a stoic look.
Wriothesley walked slowly from the door to you, hugged his arm, and asked in a relaxed tone. "You've been very rude lately. What's wrong?"
You can't believe Wriothesley is actually asking this - "Don't you know you're the reason! When am I going to get out of jail! Why I have no idea how long my sentence will be extended!"
"This is what happens when someone disobeys." Administrator said, taking something out of his pocket. "And now I'm right. You don't look like you're fit to be released from prison."
He quickly lifted the back of your hand, and then with a sound, the handcuff locked your right hand. You suddenly broke into a cold sweat, but your other hand was grabbed and locked in the same way. "W-what do you want to do!" accompanied by a chuckle. "You look better this way, but it's not enough."
Wriothesley sat down leisurely, stretched out his hand, and pulled you onto his lap. As you screamed, a chill ran down your butt, and the covering material was pulled down. But he still felt that it was not enough, and even took off your underwear, not even allowing the underwear to stay on your calves, but threw it on the desk. Before this, you had never known that Wriothesley's strength was so irresistible and powerful. He always allowed you to push him away a little.
A hard slap on your ass. Terrified, you straightened your legs and kicked them, as if that would relieve the pain, but it didn't. "How dare you - how dare you spank me! Wriothesley, I will teach you a lesson once I get out!"
"Ha-I'm waiting." He said, holding back the laughter in his throat. "But now, you're being spanked by me, so watch your words."
The slaps landed on your butt one after another, and his thick arms were waving, showing no mercy, as the loud slapping sound proved. The pain urged your eyes to fill with tears, and you wanted to struggle, but the cold handcuffs reminded you of your position. "Stop this…you have no right to do this…"
"I have. And no one can stop me from doing this." While holding your waist, his big, rough hand slapped your right butt three times in a row. Just when you thought you had adapted… pain. You sobbed quietly, sniffling.
After the slap lasted… you don't know, 2 minutes or 5 minutes later? It seemed like a lifetime, and finally it stopped. "Poor you." The palm touched your heated butt and rubbed it gently, "It's all swollen. If you were obedient, it wouldn't be like this, right?"
"Asshole…" you just struggled to curse in a low voice, "um, let's start again." These few understatement words gave you a huge warning. The slaps started again, even harder than before. Tears welled up in your eyes as you tried to stop him. "…wait, wait, I'm sorry!! Don't start over!!"
"Ah, too late," he snickered, not stopping to spank. "Well, I can even hear you scolding me in your heart. Just be good, even a little bit, okay?"
What follows is a long afternoon. Wriothesley didn't spank you continuously, but kept you on his lap. He reviews the documents and signs and adds notes. Occasionally, he thinks of you and waves his arms to educate you. You were like a poor little pet, on his lap, with tears hanging from your eyelashes, your hands locked in handcuffs, and butt is swollen and radiating heat.

————
Tumblr media
————
Y/n Riley, a gentle and kind woman who's done no wrong in her life, but she's here at the hospital after being told her cousin was in the hospital after a fatal car accident, Y/n hasn't gone to see him in the 3 weeks she was notified, she was either busy or didn't want to see the person she called family all torn and beat up.
She stood in the doorway of the hospital room and saw her cousin, he was barely holding on, she couldn't even recognize him. She excused herself and heads to the small courtyard, tears running down her face, fists curled and pushed into her eyes wishing she didn't see what she just saw.
As she sat on the bench, she looks down at her feet, as tears land on her thighs.
"You stay here," a woman who sounded angry pushed a young boy on the bench Y/n was on, and she walked off. Y/n was still sniffling but wiped the tears from her face.
"Why are you crying?" The boy asked.
"What happened to your face?" Y/n tried to change the question. The boy has a bruised eye, a busted lip and some dried blood under his nose.
"Nothing," he says.
"Then I'm not crying," she says.
"My dad's here," he says.
"Oh yeah? What happened?"
"Car accident..."
"Car...accident?"
"Yeah," he says, wiping under his nose.
"W-What's his name?" She was scared for the answer.
"Martin L/n."
"Fuck..." Y/n then looks at the ground leaning back on the bench, she then turns to look at the boy. "How...old are you?"
"12," he says.
"Martin," she groans leaning back. "What about your name?"
"Silas."
"Who...who was that woman? Your mom?"
"No, definitely not," he says. "She's my caseworker."
"Caseworker? Something wrong?"
"...Guess you don't know anything about him."
"What did he do?" Now she curious but is also rightfully pissed off at Martin. He was usually a nice and caring man, why does his son have a caseworker?
"He-"
"Silas! Come on, you have to see him." His caseworker yells from the door. Silas doesn't say anything and gets off the bench and heads to the door.
Y/n takes a deep breath and walks to the door as well, going back to the room.
"Who are you? Why are you in here?" The caseworker says.
"Martin is my cousin," Y/n said.
"O-Oh," she doubles down.
"Can he have some privacy to say goodbye?" Y/n looks at the doctor.
"I mean we would but we have a policy that doesn't allow us to leave the room-"
"Your policy is shit and his son should be allowed to say his goodbye, without a doctor or caseworker around," Y/n says. The doctor just nods and motions the caseworker to also leave.
Silas looks at Y/n and then back at his dad on his death bed. Silas plays with his fingers and then looks back at him again.
"You suck as a father..." well that stunned Y/n. "Beat me, left me at school too many times then I can count, left me with that bitch of a caseworker...I hope you rot in hell, and if there's a hell on Earth, I'm already on it," he turns and walks out of the hospital room, Y/n could hear his caseworker call after him.
"Martin...I've don't know what you've done to that poor boy, but you...I'm glad you're leaving, I don't know what you've been doing for the past 6 years, but I know...you deserved this...I loved you, my cousin, but I hate you," Y/n grabbed her purse and walks out of the room, going to her car and starting it up, not before hitting her wheel and screaming out of anger.
--------------
Going home to her husband, Ghost, he sat on the front porch watching her walk up the stairs like she was tired and her eyes were red and puffy, and Ghost opened his arms for her to sit on his lap and she snuggled to his chest.
"Guessing it didn't go that well?"
"He has a son, Si."
"A son? Since when?"
"12 years. He's had a son for 12 years and didn't say anything to anyone, no one knew...he must have hurt that boy for too long."
"Why do you say that?"
"He has a caseworker, Si, no child has a caseworker unless something has happened to that child."
"What's the kid's name?"
"Silas...he's 12...and all I know from what he said to Martin as a good bye was that he basically hates him...and I do too, Si, Martin lied to us, he was never kind or gentle, he was monster behind closed doors."
Ghost held Y/n close and kissed her temple, he rocks back and forth on the rocking chair sitting on the front porch, the silent rain hitting the top of the roof and on the ground.
-----------------
It's been a week now, Y/n washing dishes as Ghost was getting back from feeding the cows, when he sees a truck pull into the driveway, he kept his composure hands on his belt as he watched the Sheriff come out of the truck.
"Evening Sheriff."
"Evening Ghost, I have something."
"What is it?"
"Not what, who."
"Y/N!!" Ghost yells from outside, Y/n stopped what she was doing drying her hands and coming outside.
"Yes?" She opens her door and sees Silas being held by the hoodie by the Sheriff. "Silas?"
"So you know him."
"Yeah...I do...he's my cousins son. I met him a few weeks ago." The Sheriff released Silas and he went to the tailgate of the truck.
"What did he do?" She asked.
"Stealing."
"Where's his caseworker?"
"Said he didn't want to call her, and said you're his legal guardian." He says. Y/n looks at Silas and takes a deep breath.
"We don't have kids, Sheriff." Ghost says.
"Si...can I have a word with my husband?" Y/n pulls Ghost to the front porch.
"So, that's Silas."
"Yeah...Simon, he doesn't have a home...his only family just died, and if they call his caseworker, he'll go to Foster care."
"Love, it's for the best he goes-"
"No, Simon...you've been in his position before," she taps her fingers into his chest.
"Don't do that."
"Do what?" She knew what she was doing.
"We can't...keep him, we know nothing on what a child needs."
"I know he needs a home, right now, parents to take care of him."
"What about his mom?"
"Doesn't know her."
Ghost then takes a deep breath as he looks at Silas swing his feet back and forth on the tailgate and then looks back down at his wife.
"If he stays here, he works," Ghost says.
"Fine, he could use some muscle on him anyways," Y/n walks off the porch and walks to the tailgate where Silas was. "You can stay...if you stay here you work on the farm with my husband, don't worry he's not as bad as he may seems."
The Sheriff had took off a while ago leaving Silas in the care of Y/n and Ghost. Ghost sees Silas at the porch, he seemed like he was going to follow Y/n into the house but stopped him from going in.
"Where you going?" Ghost asked.
"Inside, I'm cold," he says.
"Not just yet, I still haven't fed the pigs, yet, you get to help me with them, and from then on the pigs will now be your responsibility."
"Pigs? Yeah, okay-what I get to move up from the pigs whenever you tell me to?"
"You catch up quick, get your ass moving," Ghost says, showing Silas where he has to go.
Silas goes first walking to the pig pin, Ghost opens the gate and sends Silas inside.
"Grab that bucket. Fill it with slop."
"Slop?"
"That shit right there. It's kitchen scraps, rotten fruit and vegetables," Silas removed the lid on top of the bucket of slop, Silas gags at the smell and puts the bucket inside the slop and scooped out a full bucket full.
Silas continues to gag as he walks to the pigs that crowded around his feet, making him hard to walk around them.
"Push them."
"Push them? They're heavier than me," Silas says.
"Push them," Ghost repeats. Silas used his knee to push the pigs away so he could get to their bowl to dumb everything into it. Once he gets to the bowl and pours everything in, he drops the bucket and goes to the gate where Ghost was.
"Ah, who said you're done?"
"What?"
"You gonna wash Bessy over there."
"Bessy?" Bessy was a big Vietnamese pot-bellied pig. Ghost told Silas that she's probably had about 6 different liters and won 7 blue ribbons at the county fair, she is a force to reckon with, and gets the most dirty out of all the other pigs in the pin.
Silas grabs the hose from the side of the pin turning the water on and spraying Bessy with it, but what Ghost didn't tell Silas was that Bessy hates water and you basically gotta run after her and trap her to wash her.
Silas ran around the pin trying to block Bessy from running, Ghost just laughs at him, Silas then tackles the pig and ended up taking Bessy down with him, he curses and grabs the hose to wash Bessy.
"What the hell is going on? I called for dinner 5 minutes ago!" Y/n says, marching to her husband and Silas. She sees Silas all mudding and dirty, he kind of looks embarrassed to have Y/n looking at him like this.
Y/n slaps Ghost's arm, who wasn't fazed by her smack, but did look at her.
"Why is he in there with them?"
"Cause I didn't get to feed them, so he's doing it, he's now in charge of them."
"Silas, come on, go inside and clean up, dinner is ready." She says, looking annoyed at Simon. Silas walks out of the pin kicking his shoes off at the front door not wanting to trudge mug into the nice and clean house.
"Simon-"
"He's a boy, he's going to get dirty, weather he likes it or not, and the deal was, he lives here, he works here."
"I know that but-"
"But nothing, there is no but," he says. "Come on...thought dinner was ready?"
---------------
Silas took a nice hot shower, coming down in clothes Y/n could find for him, some old sweatpants and an old t-shirt.
"Thanks."
"Sorry, I didn't have any clothes to fit you, we can go shopping tomorrow, or do you have clothes back at your home?"
"I need new ones..." he picks at the food not wanting to talk more and Y/n didn't push him, but Ghost just stares at the boy and then at his wife, he sees how similar they look, same hair color, those same colored eyes, but Silas was more quiet, rebellious. Y/n gentle, can be stubborn, and a pain in Simon's ass sometimes.
"I need him around the farm tomorrow," Ghost jumps in and looks down at his dinner eating it.
"You have help. Thought Soap, Price and Alejandro were coming?"
"They are-"
"Then you can wait, it won't take long, he needing new things is a bit more important," Silas looks at the couple talking, he leans back into the chair not eating, it caught Ghost's attention.
"Eat kid," he says.
"I'm not hungry anymore."
"Why?" He pushes.
"Simon, enough...you don't have to if you don't want to...or if you want...we can eat in silence, no more talking about anything," she says, looking at Silas. Silas has never gotten that look before, it was the look of someone who cared, and not angry, Ghost wasn't angry nor annoyed, he's just not use to someone else in his home let alone a kid he's now responsible for.
They ate in silence like Y/n said, Silas had finished first and was excuse to walk around the house and explore if he wanted to. He stumbles upon a room, pushing the door open and seeing it was a nursery. Why would there be a nursery in the house with no kids but him?
He looks around the room was filled with pink things, the walls painted a soft pink color, he looks around when seeing the name 'Luna' on the wall.
"We were going to have a baby at some point," Ghost says, making Silas jump.
"I-I didn't mean to-"
"It's fine kid..." Ghost comes in slightly closing the door behind him. "My wife was pregnant a while back," he walks to the empty crib in the middle of the room.
"She had a miscarriage around 6 months...she has every right to be more upset than me, we've just kept this room shut and off limits, she was scared to remove everything, so we've left the room alone...we tried for another baby a while back but...my wife...she can't get pregnant..." he looks down at Silas. "Promise me, kid...you act and treat her like a mother, she's doing you a favor by staying here with us, she could told that Sheriff to take you to your caseworker, so be fucking glade," he says.
Silas nods and leaves the room. As Silas leaves and continues down the hall he sees another door opened and Y/n was inside setting up the bed for him.
"Oh, here, you'll be staying in the guest bedroom," she says. She leaves him alone in the bedroom as she makes her way down the hall and sees Simon coming out of the nursery, Y/n's heart clenched in her chest as she looks at him.
"He was in here."
"Oh." She looks at the door at the end of the hall slowly closing. Y/n looks up at Simon and felt tears in her eyes when she thinks about her baby. Simon knew what was coming and picked her up and taking her to their bedroom.
------------------
Silas woke up to a chicken near his window pecking at the glass and then hears the door creak open.
"Get up, Kid," Ghost says. Silas groans and sits up looking at Ghost in his doorway.
"Thought I was going shopping?" He says.
"Oh you are," Y/n pops her head in. "Simon is just being an asshole."
"Am not, we're up, so he can be up-"
"He can sleep in if he wants to," Y/n shuts the door and pulls Simon away from his door. "You have to leave him alone, he's a child, coming from a rough home already, he doesn't need you in his face or business all the time."
"Love-"
"Don't 'love' me, he's just a kid, you also have friends coming to work with you, you can wait till he gets back." She says, pushing him out of the hallway and onto the first stair.
"Sorry to interrupt but...I have no clothes," Silas calls from the end of the hall.
"I'll get you some," Y/n gives him a smile and then a quick glare at her husband, pushing past him and going to look for more clothes.
She brings up a t-shirt and some jeans. "I think the jeans might be a little big on you," he comes out of the bedroom and Y/n was right. She bends down on to roll up the pant legs and made them look good, then with a thud next to her, there were some old cowboy boots, Simon had found.
"Si."
"Found those in storage," he says. "Unroll that boys pants, he'll look stupid with his jeans tucked in." Y/n rolls her eyes and fixed them how they were before, once Silas got his boots on and put the jeans over the boots, he looked good.
"There," Y/n says. "Perfect, now, come on, let's go see what we can get ya'."
"The boy doesn't need more then 5 shirt, 4 jeans, 12 underwear and 15 pairs of socks." Simon says from the front porch.
"Why so many underwear?" Silas asks from the front seat.
"Because I said so," Simon says.
"I'll get him as much shit as I want to," Y/n says, pulling out of the driveway.
"You two got a kid now?" Soap asked from sitting on top of his horse.
"He's part of Y/n's family, so, I made a deal saying if he stays here, he works here, he doesn't have any clothes, so they're going, he'll be back to take care of the pigs."
-------------
"How do those feel?" Y/n asked, while she held shirts, and pants, in her arms, she looks down at Silas who was feeling around for his toe.
"They're tight."
"You're not use to them yet," she says. "Do you like them?"
"Yeah," Silas had picked out two pair of boots, a real fancy pair that he promised Y/n he won't wear out in the field but if they go somewhere fancy, then a pair that he'll be using in the pig pin.
"Alright, let's go pay," putting everything on the counter and Y/n paid, Silas looks around the store, seeing some belts, he doesn't have any, but Ghost's black leather belt was on Silas' mind.
He finds one, almost similar to Ghost's belt, he takes it off the rack and goes to the counter.
"And this," he says.
"A belt?"
"I don't have one..." Silas says.
"True alright."
"You want a buckle one it, son?" The old man ringing them out says. Silas looks at the glass case and sees the wide range of buckles.
"That one." Pointing to the one that just a long horn on it.
"Sure." Y/n smiles at Silas as she pays for everything.
-------------
"Don't let, Simon get under your skin, Silas. He's just not use to a kid being in the house."
"Is he always grumpy?"
"Yeah, just about."
"How'd you even marry someone like him?"
Y/n giggles. "He wasn't always like that," she says.
"He was nice?" Silas sounded shocked.
"He still is." She says, laughing.
"Nah, no, I haven't seen him been nice yet."
"It'll take him a while, Silas, it won't happen instantly."
-----------------
When getting home Silas sees the guys reangling up some cows, he looks at them and walks to the fence, sitting on it and watching them.
"Silas," Simon then points to the pigs. Without a fight Silas gets to the pigs, but he could still watch them.
Y/n walks to the pin and watches Silas, dumping the slop in the bowl and grabbing the hose for Bessy, Silas just knows he's going to hate doing this. He chases Bessy in the pin, she squeals loudly as Silas chases the pig, the guys all stopped to watch watch Silas, they either cheered for Silas or for Bessy.
Silas then tackles Bessy like last time taking her down and starts hosing her off. The guys all cheered and Silas felt slightly embarrassed but then felt great that he was getting cheers from the guys.
He looks at Y/n as she just gives him a soft smile.
"Come on, back to work," Ghost says.
------------
Silas helped Y/n in the kitchen, cleaning, washing dishes and then making dinner for them once Ghost was done with the chores around the farm.
Silas had looked outside seeing Ghost coming up to the house, he keeps washing the dishes as Y/n puts everything down to go to the front door and wait for Ghost to open the door. Once he did kicking his boots off at the front, his arms went around her waist and holds her tightly.
Silas watched them, he knew these two were a happy couple, and they were like every other couple, getting into fights and then making up, he watched how Ghost was gentle with her.
"What's for dinner?" Ghost asked looking at Silas and then down at his wife.
"Chicken and mash potatoes," she says. "Something simple."
"What clothes did you get," Ghost asked, looking at Silas.
Silas without another word went to the room he was staying in and brought down the bags. Ghost starts looking through them and pulled some of the shirts out along with some jeans.
"New belt?"
"Yeah, I need one."
"Looks like mine," he says.
"Yeah," Silas looks down and Ghost just smiles a little.
"Fine, looks good, more shirt then I said," he says, looking at Y/n who's back was turned to him.
"I'm allowed to get him as many shirts as he wants," she says.
"New boots, I saw," he says.
"And?" He doesn't say anything, knowing what he might say, she'll give him attitude and make a good point. "That's what I thought," she says. "Anyways, dinner is ready."
----------------
Silas and Ghost sat on the front porch together, it was silent for a long time but soon Ghost started talking.
"So, kid...how was your relationship with your dad?" He asked, he was blunt, and Silas learned that already.
"Not that great, I guess," he says.
"You guess?"
"My dad did drugs...chose drugs and women over his own kid, yet, I don't know my mother, if I knew my mother...I don't think I'd be here with you two, and there is no telling how crazy she is!" Silas says, leaning back in the rocking chair.
"That's like my dad...my mom was my...hero, I guess, she stood up for me all the time, my dad did drug and was an alcoholic...I never had a good relationship with him..."
"What happened to them?"
"My mom passed away from a heart attack, and my dad overdosed on fentanyl and my brother Tommy died from drugs as well...it's just me..."
"How'd you meet, Y/n?"
"Y/n," when Ghost said her name he smiled and looked at the night sky and bright stars. "She is my fucking world, even though he 'get into fights' she is my everything, I will do anything and everything for her...I met her by a friend of mine, Soap, he showed a photo of her to me because he said 'I needed to get out there' and he set up a blind date for us...we hit it off and got married to each other in 6 months."
"6 months?!"
"Yeah...crazy," he says, chuckling. It stayed silent again till Silas spoke.
"...Am I staying here?" He asked Ghost. Ghost took a deep breath and sighed.
"It's up to Y/n...you said she's your guardian...that's more up to Y/n then me," he says.
"And he is," Y/n came out of the house, she sits on the arm of Ghost's rocking chair, his arm wrapped around her waist and resting on her hip. "You will stay here...I don't want you going off to Foster care and not know anything about your family. I'm your family now, Simon is your family now..." she cups his chin getting him to look at her. "And I sure as hell will do everything in my power to keep you here, no one will come and take you from us, do you understand?" Silas nods his head.
"If you also stay here, we've got some ground rules for you," Ghost says.
"Like what?"
"One is no stealing, if you get caught again, we're not coming to get you," Ghost says.
"He is right, I don't want to see your mug anywhere," Y/n said.
"Got it."
"You work till I say you're done, you may have the pigs as a responsibility but you also have the goats, sheep and chickens, you pull your weight around here."
As Ghost talks with Silas about the ground rules, Y/n had gotten up and left them to keep talking. Ghost seemed to make a new best friend and Silas knows what love feels like now.

I wanted to ask, what would it be like if Fischl had an S/O who not only plays along with her, but is just as much as a Chuunibyou as her? I'd kinda like to see her reaction to that. Maybe see what the other Mondstadt folks think as well? Oh, and bonus points if the S/O does the whole Shining Finger thing. from Gundam. That "this hand of mine glows with an awesome powerrr!" thing.
(Genshin Impact/Honkai: Star Rail)
Fischl, Ayaka, Rosaria, Eula, Furina, Shinobu, Bronya, and Seele with a very dramatic S/O
YOU ACTIVATED MY SLEEPER AGENT KEYWORDS, YOU MENTIONED GUNDAM, AND SPECIFICALLY G GUNDAM
Tumblr media
Fischl's eyes seemed to gleam when she first realized that her S/O not only indulged her antics, but even joined her!
Their title was almost as impressive as her own, 'The King/Queen of Hearts'!
(Fischl) "Tell me dear, S/O, how can the fabled 'King/Queen of Hearts' measure up to the Prinzessin der Verurteilung?"
S/O clenched their fist and raised it in front of their chest triumphantly.
(S/O) "You may have your electric arrows, but I have these GOLDEN FINGERS!"
Oz on the other hand was completely suffering.
Well, at least he didn't have to translate for S/O, they were completely blunt and to the point, unlike his master.
Fischl did adore S/O for how brave and caring they were, but it was during a battle that made her heart first skip a beat.
(S/O) "HERE I GO!-"
S/O's pyro vision flared up as their fists began glowing a flaming gold, catching both Oz and Fischl by surprise.
(Fischl) "W-What?! S/O was serious with knowing an ultimate technique?!"
(Oz) "I thought they were in a similar boat to you, mein Fräulein-"
(S/O) "THIS HAND OF MINE IS BURNING RED! IT'S LOUD ROAR TELLS ME TO GRASP VICTORY!"
They rushed past Fischl and Oz, who could only watch in awe.
(S/O) "ERUPTING, BURNING...FIIINGEEEEERRRR!"
Their fist immediately crashed through a Ruin Guard (somehow), and lifted them off the ground with one arm.
(S/O) "AND NOW, HEAT END!"
The Ruin Guard exploded violently afterwards, with S/O's fist going back to normal.
(Oz) "Wow, really?"
(Fischl) THAT IS SO COOL! "...Ahem, a fine display, dear S/O."
Everyone in Mondstadt thought that Fischl had just found another roleplayer that took things way too seriously and were somewhat dreading talking to them.
Only to realize S/O wasn't doing a bit, despite the fact they were just as dramatic as her.
They were just insane.
Tumblr media
Ayaka knew her S/O was a bit on the...flashy side, to put it gently.
They screamed all their attack names at the top of their lungs, yet she knew no one was better and hand to hand combat than they were. Especially when they began actually glowing red or ignited into flames.
All that did not matter terribly much to Ayaka. S/O was someone she loved, for their caring and valiant nature.
But, someone like S/O was something she had never expected to face, and they both drove her insane, and yet brought contrasting calmness to her life.
Nothing however would ever compare to meeting S/O's master for the first time.
Ayaka and S/O were travelling down the streets of Inazuma, until everyone, including the guards were watching someone coming down the street.
(Ayaka) "...Is...that person standing on their horse?"
Suddenly, S/O's eyes widened, and rushed through the crowd, unintentionally leaving Ayaka behind. She quickly followed behind and saw a man standing perfectly on the horse as it trotted along the streets of Inazuma, arms crossed and an expression that was razor focused.
(S/O) "MASTER!"
The man's head turned to S/O, and both of them exchanged a glance before Ayaka saw their master leap off the horse, extending a fist as they landed perfectly in front of them.
(Strange Man) "Answer me, S/O! THE SCHOOL OF THE UNDEFEATED OF THE EAST!"
S/O knelt down as they struck a dramatic pose, answering their master.
(S/O) "THE WINDS OF THE KING!"
In the middle of the city, they began exchanging rapid punches that traded perfectly blow for blow, so fast that even Ayaka struggled to keep track of.
(Strange Man) "ZENSHIN!"
(S/O) "KEIRETSU!"
(Both) "TEMPA KYOURAN!"
Both their fists collided before their other arms extended outwards in sync, screaming once again.
(Both) "LOOK! THE EAST, IS BUUUURRNING REEEED!"
Ayaka watched with a strange mixture of horror, second-hand embarrassment, admiration, and jealousy.
(Ayaka) ...I-Is it possible for S/O to teach me how to do that too...?
Tumblr media
When Rosaria first met S/O, she thought they were going to be a troublemaker.
She was correct, but they fought to keep Mondstadt safe as much as she did.
But while she did it with subtlety, S/O grabbed subtlety with their literal shining golden fingers, and made it violently explode, all while screaming their attack.
The first time she had watched S/O perform their "Shining Finger" attack on a treasure hoarder, she stood there completely slackjawed.
(Rosaria) "...Oh my Bratabos, you're completely serious."
Rosaria thought S/O was doing some kind of bit like this 'Fischl' character she had heard about.
No, they were just that dramatic for no real apparent reason, and they had the strength to back their nonsense up.
She even doubted that herself could take S/O in a straight fight.
In a strange way, it attracted her to them. They were clearly not afraid of what anyone thought of them, only caring if the people they loved were safe. She had respect for that.
But...why were they like this?
They couldn't just defeat their enemies normally, no, they HAD to explode. Every single one of them.
Sometimes S/O's Vision wasn't even active, she would just see them explode after they had shouted "HEAT END!".
(Rosaria) "You are both the best and the worst person I know of to clean up a mess of bandits discreetly."
(S/O) "Hah! The King/Queen of Hearts doesn't need to fight discreetly! I only fight with my fists!"
Honestly, as strange as this was, she also found it to be the funniest thing in the world. Maybe there SHOULD be more people like S/O and Fischl after all.
Tumblr media
Eula couldn't exactly call anyone out for being "flashy".
But her S/O took that word to a whole new level. Especially with their manner of speech.
It made Eula look polite in comparison. S/O appeared to be playing the bit of a mysterious, strong, and rude warrior who only thought with their fists.
She had seen them become soft and loving, hell they were a couple, she knows they can become serious.
But after watching them fight a few times, she's starting to believe that S/O wasn't doing a bit like herself, and she did not know how to feel about that.
Eula watched S/O pull out a sword made of pure flames from their hands, wielding it in both their palms.
(S/O) "THIS HAND OF MINE GLOWS WITH AN AWESOME POWER! IT'S BURNING GRIP TELLS ME TO DEFEAT YOU!"
S/O slashed apart the Ruin Hunter with every swing, scorching the grass ablaze with their passion.
(S/O) "TAKE THIS! MY LOVE, MY ANGER, AND ALL OF MY SORROW! SHINING FINGER SWOOOOOOORD!"
With one final slash, the Ruin Hunter was split in half, with S/O leaping back as their pyro vision died down slowly.
Honestly, Eula didn't know if she should be impressed, cringing, or not be thinking that was one of the coolest things she had ever seen.
Probably a mixture of all three.
Tumblr media
Honestly? Furina kind of gets it.
You spend so long doing a bit, it kind of becomes a part of you.
That being said, Furina isn't entirely sure if S/O's behavior was entirely theatrics.
But that's fine! It's a part of them after all, not like she had any room to criticize.
Whenever S/O wasn't in the room, she would be clenching her fists and throwing punches in the air, mimicking their tone.
(Furina) "How did they say it...? Ah, right! This hand of mine glows with an awesome power!"
Furina giggled as she said it out loud before putting on a 'serious expression' frowning as she concentrated.
(Furina) "It's loud roar tells me to grasp victory! SHINING, FIINGEEER!" giggle
As she turned to face the door, she nearly leapt out of her skin to see S/O watching her with a highly unamused face.
(Furina) "GAH! S-S/O! How long were you-"
(S/O) "The School of Master Asia cannot be replicated by simply mimicking my actions, Furina. It comes from within!"
Furina pouted a little.
(Furina) "It doesn't look that different from theatre, S/O! You're as dramatic as I am!"
(S/O) "Dramatic? Don't be absurd, I'm completely-"
(Furina) "You are not telling me you can say all that with a straight face every single time!"
(S/O) "...Can you not?"
...Either S/O was the best actor, or they lacked the self awareness that she (kinda) had.
Tumblr media
Oh good Archons, please no.
Shinobu already had to reign in Itto and the others, now her lover was adding fuel to the fire.
Or more like an explosion to it.
S/O had taught Itto and the other members of the Arataki gang their strange dances.
Now instead of dealing with one, she had to deal with seven other idiots shouting about Erupting Burning Fingers.
(Shinobu) "S/O, you're a terrible influence."
(S/O) "Huh? What are you-"
(Shinobu) "Sara had just told me that Itto and the others were making a ruckus in the public square."
(S/O) "What ruckus can the dances my master and I-"
(Shinobu) "They're trying to match the speed of you and Master Asia, but end up only punching themselves in the face."
(S/O) "Hah! Looks like I need to train them harder-"
(Shinobu) "S/O."
S/O sighed loudly, adjusting their red headband.
(S/O) "Fine. I'll reign them in myself."
Personally, she thinks their nature is...strange, to put it mildly.
She has no idea how S/O and their master became so eccentric, but they meant as well as she and the others did so...Not too much harm could be done?
And admittedly, she did find it really cool that S/O's vision could make things explode in such a spectacular fashion.
But why did so many people in her life have to have some kind of screw loose with them?
Tumblr media
There was only one word that could come to Bronya's mind watching S/O in action.
(Bronya) "What?"
She had been trained all her life to be noble, courteous, and elegant.
And here came S/O with all the elegance of a cannon.
S/O fought inside a machine that mimicked their actions 1 to 1. While the suit itself was strong, it was S/O who made it surpass the limits.
Their knowledge on martial arts was unsurpassed by anyone she had ever known.
But in a strange way, it made Bronya admire them. They wore their heart on their sleeve, with no one telling them how to live. That was really admirable.
And secretly, she found herself quoting S/O many times as she was training with her weapons. Much to her amusement and horror.
But the first time she watched them in action could not compare to anything.
The machine's wings flared out and formed an energy halo, with S/O's hand becoming a blinding fiery light.
Their chest opened up and revealed a large glowing orb, with the symbol of the King/Queen of hearts flashing in front of it.
Before Bronya could even question what S/O was doing, she watched them fly past all the Silvermane guards and save them by driving their robotic fist into the enemy.
(S/O) "BURNING, FIIIIINGEEEER!"
On command, the creature exploded into a brilliant light, making everyone recoil as their enemies fled in terror.
S/O turned around, their machine crossing its arms and standing dramatically on top of a hill, staring down at everyone.
(S/O) "Behold, THE SCHOOL OF MASTER ASIA! THE UNDEFEATED SCHOOL OF THE EAST!"
(Silvermane Guard) "...O-Okay...?"
Bronya had much of the same reaction, but a slight blush overtook her cheeks.
(Bronya) "That was...incredible!"
(Silvermane Guard) "Ma'am?"
(Bronya) "A-AHEM! Men, we continue onwards! Remember our training, and show that we are not to be surpassed!"
It was completely stupid how S/O shouted their moves but...damn, if it wasn't effective.
Tumblr media
Seele sighs whenever she watches S/O in action.
Their moves were completely unnecessary, way too flashy, and the thing that annoyed her the most?
They worked. Like, there was nothing to counter S/O's idiotic moves, nor anything that could actually survive them.
It worked, and she hated that it did.
Seele simply steps out the way of an incoming monster part that had exploded spectacularly.
(Seele) "I will never understand how that machine of yours makes everything it touches detonate. It's like everything's made out of Natasha's grenades to you."
(S/O) "HAH! You are just watching the King/Queen of Hearts in action, Seele! Try to keep up!"
Her eye twitched. Oh now it was ON!
She had a great deal of respect for her S/O, truthfully. But it was dwarfed by her annoyance of them as well.
They would go on about complete nonsense, and yet when they were together, S/O could be a surprisingly normal and honest person.
Then she would watch them in the fight club and watch S/O in their machine grab someone's head, ready to make it explode.
(S/O) "Article 1: A Unit whose head section has been destroyed is disqualified!"
(Man) "H-HEY! THAT'S MY ACTUAL HEAD!"
(S/O) "Then I have won this fight."
Seele had never heard about these articles, or schools on this planet. Maybe it was an offworld thing.
...God, she hoped that whoever trained S/O wouldn't meet Natasha or the kids.

(y/n)'s deal with the devil to save Nobara's life (Part V)
Tumblr media
Part 1 - 4 of the Sukuna/Yuji x Megumi's little sister series can be found here
Pairing: Megumi's little sister x Yuji/Sekuna
Word Count: 2,5k
Synopsis: You've been through so much at Shibuya, seeing the love of you get taken over by Sukuna and finally getting him back. But this time, it will be you who begs on her knees for the king of curses to arrive in order to save your best friend's life...
Warnings: This hurts like hell lol, I miss my girl so much , as usual language, my poor baby Yuji being absolutely crushed
„I need to get moving now”, Yuji mutters while lifting his trembling frame off the ground.
“But where? Please just sit down for a while, you’ve been through so much-“
“What about the people here at Shibuya, (y/n)? Not only did they have to go through a lot, but they also lost their lives here. I can’t just sit on the ground like an idiot while my friends are out there dying.”
You hate it. The way his eyes glimmer in nothing but grief, how his face lost the spark of joy.
But especially you hate that he’s right. You can’t just stay here and let everybody else do the work. Even though you want nothing more than to rest in Yuji’s comforting arms forever, it is your responsibility to find the others and help freeing Gojo-sensei.
That doesn’t include Yuji, though.
“No, you’ve done enough here. Let me go and find Nanami, okay? You…you need to rest…Yuji?”
He steps towards you, lips forming the most heart-breaking little smile you’ve ever seen while his hand gently tucks a strand of hair behind your ear.
“I love you more than anything else, (y/n)”, he hushes for only you to hear, making your broken heart skip a beat.
Maybe everything will turn out alright. After all, you have Yuji by your side, right? No matter what Sukuna did, no matter what the two of you have been through, you will eventually make it.
Right?
He wraps his longing arms around you, pressing your frame against his chest. You let yourself fall into his touch, allowing your eyes to rest for a moment. This. This is what makes it worth all the pain. The feeling of Yuji’s body against yours, the way his breath caresses your neck ever so slightly.
“But if someone has to go, it’s me. You are the one who has done enough and I’m so sorry I made you go through all of this shit. You will stay here.”
Your shocked eyes dart open immediately, body trying to yank away from him while he holds you in place.
“I’ll get you when all of this is over. Maybe it’s hella selfish, but I can’t afford to lose you. Anyone but you, (y/n). I’m so sorry. So so sorry.”
Bad foreshadowing crawls up your spine. What is he trying to say? You swallow hard, glossy eyes searching for an answer in his worn-out orbs. No, this can’t be.
Yuji won’t just leave you here, will he?
“Don’t go where I can’t follow love”, you literally beg him, desperate hands grabbing his face longingly.
You just got him back, your Yuji, the love of your life. And now…now he wants to leave again, even though he’s been through so much? And you…He wants you just to stay here and wait for him? You shake your head vehemently. No way in hell. You won’t let him leave alone.
“I’m so sorry…But this time, I will leave you no choice. Please don’t hate me, (y/n). I’m doing this for you…”
You aren’t able to free yourself in time. With a swift motion he yanks you through the door of a nearby building, closing the door behind him so rapidly that all you can do is grab the doorknob.
It doesn’t open.
“Yuji!”
You can’t catch your breath, fists slamming against the metal door without mercy, eyes scanning the room for another way to escape.
But there’s no other door. Fuck, not even a window. This can’t be true, your boyfriend didn’t just lock you into a random building at Shibuya…You glide down the stone-cold walls, the tears in your eyes threatening to pool over.
What if something happens out there? Sukuna must have weakened his body, would he even be able to put up a fight? And what if a grade 1 shows up. Or worse…
You have to blink a few times, panic rising inside your throbbing veins. You can’t just sit here and do nothing. Even though he begged you to stay out of this, it is your responsibility as a jujutsu sorcerer.
As his girlfriend.
You take a deep breath. Calm your tingling nerves, get out of this building, search for Yuji and fight along his side. Even though he doesn’t want you there, even though he specifically instructed you to stay right where you are.
“I’m a Fushiguro after all”, you mutter to yourself.
This wall isn’t thick enough to hold you in. A single slash with your bare fist should be enough to tumble it down. You shake out your arms, desperately try to calm down your beating heart. You have to be brave right now. For Yuji, for your big brother Megumi.
For yourself.
With a swift motion you sprint towards the high wall with neck-breaking speed, pushing through it and falling onto the harsh ground underneath. Everything hurts, it feels like your whole body is on fire. Oh, how much you’d love to lay here for a while, to just stare into the dark night sky, inspecting every minor crater on the full moon above. But your body begins moving on his own, running down the empty and destroyed streets of Shibuya in order to find Yuji. Pushing through the pain, wiping away the tears that threaten to fall down your eyelashes. This is not the time to show any weakness, especially after standing your ground so bravely against Sukuna.
Sukuna…A shiver runs down your spine just by the thought of him. How he wrapped his arms around you, the way his dark voice brushed against your sensitive skin. It’s hard to believe that you survived meeting the king of curses. You, out of all the people here at Shibuya. You, when even special grade curses lost their lives to his cruel hands. Why? Why on earth did he let you live? It still doesn’t make any sense in your foggy brain.
Your ears perk up in an instant, screams and cries echoing through the hallway you run down. It almost sounds like…
No. The urge to throw up becomes almost unbearable, legs dashing even faster despite the scorching pain that runs through your whole body. This was Yuji, without any doubt. And you never heard him scream like that in your life.
“Yuji!?”
Your very own voice echoes back and forth unpromising, feet avoiding the remains of deformed people as good as possible. All these curses, some human corpses…You swallow hard. Mahito has to be here. And if Yuji is here too…
You have to hurry.
“Yuji!”, you scream on top of your lungs, noises growing louder and louder in your ringing ears.
There. In the distance, a few metres away, a head of pink hair.
“Yuji!”
“Kugisaki, run!”
The desperate tone in his voice, Nobara who just stands there and stares at him. Mahito…Two Mahitos…
“Nobara!” you shout, throwing your knife at the version of Mahito who runs towards her out of instinct.
No, he can’t touch her. If he does, she will become a curse herself. If he does, she-
“Kugisaki”, Yuji breathes out next to you.
It was a minor touch. Just the fingertips brushing over her left eye. But certainly enough to make everyone around stop in their tracks and staring at her in utter disbelief. You aren’t a fool. Good, how much you wish you were. But this slight touch is her certain death.
“Nobara.”
Your voice isn’t more than a fade away whisper. She isn’t just your classmate. No, Nobara is your friend, the only woman in class by your side, the one you shared your room with for months by know. She knows all your secrets, all your ticks, all the things that make you sad and happy. She is one of your best friends. And now. And now…
“I won’t let you die here!” you scream in frustration, eyes desperately scanning for a way out of this misery.
“Too late for that!” Mahito hollers at you.
What are you supposed to do? Are you even able to fix this? Mahito begins to laugh hysterically, imitates you in the most disrespectful way. That man…No, that creature. He is pure evil, without any doubt. Just like the king of curses himself.
Sukuna.
Your eyes widen, heart almost beating out of your chest. That man…
“Yuji.”
This is probably the worst idea you’ve had in your entire life. But Mahito, Nobara…It might be your only chance to save her.
“You need to switch with Sukuna. Right now.”
“What? What has gotten into you, (y/n)? There is no-“
“This might be the only way to save her”, you interrupt him sharply.
There is absolutely no guarantee this will work. Maybe he’ll just laugh at you like he did back then when Yuji begged for Junpei’s life. Your whole body begins to tremble, just the thought to meet Sukuna again... You shake your head vehemently, eyes darting towards the boy you love in determination.
This isn’t about you or your fears. Right now, Sukuna is the only person who can help you.
“I think I can do it. But you need to switch. Now.”
Yuji’s sharp and heavy breaths hang between the two of you, his hands grabbing yours so urgently that you can’t help but stare at him through glossy eyes.
“Promise me you’ll take me back, okay?”
“I promise”, you reply automatically.
The air around you feels thicker within the split of a second, everyone including Mahito standing death still in their tracks.
“Didn’t expect you want to see me again so early”, his dark voice comments dryly, his arm wrapping itself around your waist before you can stop it.
Your eyes meet his. The stone-cold eyes of the king of curses himself, the marks that cover the gorgeous face of your boyfriend. You want to scream at him, want to hit him with your best shot for making Yuji feel so horrible. God, how much you hate that man for what he did to him, how much you want him to pay for every sinful word, for every person he killed.
But instead, you take a deep breath in.
“I’m begging you to use your reversed technique on my friend.”
He tilts his head, a sly grin creeping up his face. Oh, so that’s what’s going on here. He has to admit, it was very brave of you to call him here. Don’t you know what he did back then when that brat asked him to heal that boy? Why on earth should the king of curses heal a pathetic human being?
“Well well, look who needs my help. Why would I do that, sweetheart, huh? Why on earth would I heal another of you brats?”
“Because I ask you to”, you reply in an instant, glossy eyes looking with his.
Your hands cup his cheeks. Fuck the way your whole body screams in your face to stop immediately, fuck the way tears start to spill out of your eyes again. This is about your dear friend, about Nobara. And you’ll do anything on earth to prevent her from dying.
“You mean like that?”
His hand brushes ever so slightly over a minor cut on your cheek, making it disappear in an instant. Your heart hammers against your chest, eyes widen in nothing but hope and determination. So he really is able to heal others. That means he can save Nobara too, right? He just has to.
“Please heal her. She’s one of my closest friends. Please Sukuna”, you breathe out.
You don’t know what has gotten into you. Was it the fear that radiated to your veins, the overwhelming feeling of standing on the brink of losing it all? You can’t put a finger on it.
But before you are able to stop yourself, you throw yourself against his firm body, puffy cheek resting against his chest.
What is this feeling rising up inside his chest? Why does his heart suddenly skip a beat, why does your sudden touch run shivers down his spine? You, the girl he laid his eyes on my months ago. You, the bravest girl he ever witnessed, who threatened to kill herself if he hurts one of your friends.
You, now laying in his arms, completely shattered by the thought of losing your friend. But what is he supposed to do? Back then all he was able to do was laughing hysterically at the brat begging him to safe his stupid little friend. Yes, nothing seems more ridiculous to Ryomen Sukuna than saving human’s lives. But the way you silently sob against his chest, your eyes widen in nothing but horror and consumed by darkness…
Why does it make his fingertips twitch? Why does he want to chase away your tears?
“I will help you”, he finally speaks out.
Did he…Did he really say that? Your eyes dart towards him immediately, hope glistening in your orbs. Oh, you look truly lovely like that.
“But only under one condition.”
Your thoughts begin to race all over again. Of course, he wouldn’t help you without something in return. Maybe it was a mistake to ask him for aid, maybe you should just call Shoko, maybe it is too late anyway…
No.
Don’t second-guess yourself.
“I will do anything you want.”
“Anything, huh?”
“Anything”, you confirm without hesitation.
“Gift me your heart. Swear that you’ll never leave my side. Enter into a contract with me that binds you to me forever.”
You can’t believe your ears, ground pulled underneath your feet. That would mean…You feel like fainting when the true meaning behind his words hits you. You would be his slave until the end of time, until someone is actually able to defeat Ryomen Sukuna. You’d be cursed for life.
Is it really worth this? If Megumi and Yuji were here right now, they’d scream into your face, begging you to just walk away, search for another way out of this misery. Never in his life, Yuji would have allowed you to make a deal with the devil himself in exchange for another life. Not you, not the love of his life. Not you, the precious sister of Megumi. You don’t deserve this fate, you don’t deserve to be cursed like this.
But you have to make a decision.
“I will do anything you want.”
“I need you to swear it.”
He walks towards Nobara who just stands there and stares at both of you in horror.
“(y/n), don’t…don’t do that”, she breathes out.
You want to break down, scream out in agony, run away and never come back.
“I swear I will do anything you want if you save her.”
But instead, you just stand there and watch him grab Nobara’s face roughly with a single tear running down your face. Is this a new beginning or the end of it all?
“Don’t make promises you can’t keep, (y/n). You will stay with me until both of us die.”

What Goes Up
Small Creatures, Chapter 3
Series Masterlist       Next Chapter
pairing: Matt Murdock x fem!reader
summary: Matt Murdock always assumed he’d never meet his soulmate. After all, who would want to end up stuck with a blind vigilante carrying enough baggage for a whole jet? Unfortunately for you both, his cursed love is closer than ever and determined to support him as his paradoxical life falls apart.
warnings:  swearing, Matt being a grump, Matt doubting himself, mentions of canon typical violence, one very brief mention of vomit, fluff
a/n: HI EVERYONE! I am so sorry for being so absent this month. I dislocated my knee, spent 2 months getting a doctor to agree to fix my dislocated knee, and also bought a house. What a time. ANYWAYS here are two of my loves for you all to enjoy. This chapter is mostly Matt.
w/c: 4.1k
A soft breeze waltzed over your skin, making a skipping sound as it hopped around you. It whirled toward him, carrying the subtle powdery scent of your skin, the aroma left behind from various soaps and lotions.
It mingled with the smell of freshly cooked pasta, tomatoes and salt, the taste of potatoes bursting across his tongue. A source of deadly comfort, like the magnetic pull of unconsciousness when one is bleeding out. Warm and tempting–with a jagged, perilous edge.
Thudding steadily, your pulse looped through his ears. Too quick for his liking, but solid and real nonetheless.
“...did you feel it?” Your heart thumped consistently, providing a ticking rhythm underneath your question.
“Yes.” He murmured, in awe of your ethereal presence. Something about you seemed intangible and hazy, as if you were made of mist.
“So, that means we're...” Your pulse grew louder, booming in his ears as your body flooded with adrenaline. Inhaling sharply, Matt grimaced as the acrid taste of cortisol slipped beneath the weight of carbs on his tongue.
Across from him, you began to fold in on yourself, breath coming in rapid pants. Panic flared in his own chest. A shrill whistle somersaulted in his ears, piercing the soft tissue of his ear drum. The mouthful of pasta he had yet to swallow dissipated into tiny, ashen granules. As he took a harsh breath, his throat constricted, his lungs fighting for air.
“We’re…” You repeated, your mellow voice distorted by the thundering in your rib cage. With each sprinting beat of your heart, you trembled, bones rattling together like chattering teeth.
Someone was choking. He couldn’t tell which of you it was–too distracted by the sound of crackling, gasping breaths.
Continuing to hunch over, you backed away from him, afraid. The muscles in your legs creaked as you tensed up, desperate to escape him. Your terror was palpable, sticking to him with invisible barbs, forcing distance between you.
Oh Matty, He flinched as a gnarled hand gripped his shoulder. His former mentor’s hoarse, mocking tone freezing him in place. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Love is a death sentence, nothin’ more.
Warmth spread over his fingers as a thick, crimson liquid seeped toward him. He scrambled away from the slick puddle, angling his head away from the metallic smell as it drew tears from his eyes. The blood wasn’t his. It wasn’t his.
Tumblr media
With a jolt, Matt erupted out of bed, a gurgling echo repeating in his ears. His lungs ached as he fought to catch his breath. Clenching fistfuls of silk sheets, he rested his forehead atop his knees, exhales coasting over the goosebumps dotting his flesh. With a shudder, he ripped free of the tangled blankets, toppling out of bed.
Water. He needed water. Something to clear the charred taste of blood and flour from his throat.
Dragging himself into the kitchen, he fumbled for a glass with clammy hands, nearly dropping it in the process. Pull yourself together, kid.
His teeth ground together in frustration as Matt tossed back a mouthful of lukewarm tap water, ignoring the horridly familiar metallic taste. Carefully setting the cup on his counter, his pinky brushed against the edge of a scrap of paper before he recoiled guiltily.
Your business card. Rather, the card you’d given him “in case he needed to contact you.”
In a moment of overwhelming optimism, he’d scanned the sliver of cardstock with a screen reader, noting the number on his laptop. After a drink, or three, he’d mustered the nerve to call. It was possible the voices in his head were blowing your reaction out of proportion and you truly wanted him to reach out.
Or so he’d hoped, until reaching an automated “out of service” message instead of a politely nervous photographer. Twice.
Slamming a thumb down to end the call, he’d hurled the card across the room, where it had fluttered to a halt on his kitchen counter. He hadn’t been man enough to truly throw it away.
Of course it was a fake number. You didn’t want him. Who on earth would ever want him? You felt obligated to thank a stranger because he’d saved you from serious harm. Isn’t that exactly what you’d said?
“I just wanted to show my appreciation for the other night.”
Matt should’ve known better than to let his hopes run wild.
Murdock men weren’t destined for love. They had the Devil in them, just like his grandmother always said, and there was no way anyone out there would ever choose the Devil.
Turning his palms to the ceiling, Matt squeezed his eyelids shut, hoping the motion would clear the disgusting gritty feeling he’d been battling for hours after the dream. Losing sleep always dried his eyes out, every blink irritating them further. Add another night without rest, and he started suppressing migraines. He was in for a treat this week, no doubt.
The solution was less simple than it seemed. He wasn’t choosing to lay awake for hours on end thinking about you. He’d much rather lose consciousness than relive the horrific sound of your voice cracking, your anxious pulse when he’d grabbed your hand without thinking. You were terrified of him. Rightfully so, he supposed. You’d had the misfortune of meeting him as Daredevil.
If things were different, if you’d met him as Matt Murdock, maybe it would’ve worked out. Maybe he could’ve locked the suit away, pursued another path. But that wasn’t God’s plan.
With an aching arm, Matt stretched towards his nightstand as he blearily fumbled for the compact plastic clock residing on it. Grasping it with one hand, he pressed the button along its side, grimacing at the mechanical voice that screamed back at him.
“SIX OH TWO A.M.”
A more reasonable waking time than when he’d checked two hours ago. Digging the heels of his hands into his eye sockets, he groaned as the muscles in his abdomen bulged against bruised skin. Dozens of broken blood vessels stretched with his torso as he sat up, protesting the whole way. He’d be lucky if he could walk without constant wincing. Foggy was going to kill him.
The short walk between his loft and the office cemented his sour mood. Navigating the city with a cane was frustrating on a good day–the infamous New York City apathy leading to people tripping over the thing, ramming into him from every direction, and screaming at him for using a mobility aid. Heaven forbid disabled people live in urban areas. Didn’t they know random Wall Street broker number 7 had places to be?
Gritting his teeth against every jostling movement and snippy comment, Matt nearly howled back when a massive dog tackled him against a shop window, barking angrily at him and slobbering all over his tie as the owner tried to pull the creature off his hips.
“He’s friendly, I promise!” She yelled over the deafening roar of the dog, dragging him away by the scruff of his neck.
Matt said nothing, stalking the final few blocks to their building, failing to ignore the ringing in his ears and lingering musk of the dog hair littering his shirt. Shoving at the exterior door with his shoulder, Matt narrowly avoided breaking his nose on the musty glass panel when the entrance refused to budge. Guess it was too early for maintenance’s opening shift.
Growling under his breath, he dug out his keys, unlocking the door hastily and stomping up the stairs.
Most days, stepping foot into the office filled him with a sense of pride. The ramshackle space was a representation of everything he’d accomplished, the payoff of years of hard work courtesy of both himself and Foggy. It wasn’t overly spacious. There was barely enough room for their daily onslaught of new clients–the excess body heat making the sputtering AC tremble with exertion. The suite was perpetually dusty and home to more than a few pests, but it was theirs. Most days, that was enough for Matt.
Today though, all Matt could focus on was the scent of mildew wafting up from the ancient carpet and the aggressive scrabbling of tiny claws in the building’s walls. Prying his tie from around his neck, he rolled his shoulders, collapsing into his second-hand office chair with a groan. Rifling through the files in his bag, he withdrew the flimsy folder containing their firm’s notes on an ongoing guardianship case.
This specific file wouldn’t lighten his mood in the slightest, but it had been nagging at him for days. The client had requested their assistance only about a week ago, looking for someone to help him revoke his court appointed guardian–his mother.
After an accident on the highway left him nearly entirely paralyzed, Mr. Sandoval had endured years of reconstructive surgeries and other invasive medical practices, unable to properly advocate for himself when his only known form of communication was ripped away from him. Contrary to the story his mother had pitched to the judge, he was capable of making his own decisions, he just required certain technological accommodations to speak his mind.
While under the guardianship of his mother, he was intentionally kept from any text-to-speech tools and subjected to emotional, as well as financial, abuse that his parent claimed was punishment for driving under the influence. Mr. Sandoval had been stripped of his autonomy and dignity because of a rushed court order and blatant ableism from the court officials. Matt and Foggy had readily agreed to represent him when he challenged the existing ruling.
But the case was proving to be more frustrating than they’d first imagined. None of the judges within the jurisdiction were willing to sympathize with someone who had committed what they deemed as an immoral act. The fact that he was not simply the cause but the only survivor of the crash always sealed his fate. Yet Matt was determined to keep trying.
Persistence was one of his few remaining virtues.
He was so engrossed in the paperwork, fingers flying over the lines of braille repeatedly as he grew more enraged, that he didn’t hear the office door open.
“Mornin’ sunshine,” Came Foggy’s cheerful greeting.
Matt groaned in response, earning him a laugh. “I see someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. If you ended up in bed at all last night. Geez, Matt, you’re carrying a family of suitcases under those eyes.”
“Good to know.” Matt muttered, not moving from his hunched position. “I’ll get right on that.”
“You know, for a professional liar, you need to step up your fibbing game, Murdock.” His friend exhaled forcefully, planting two palms on Matt’s desk as he leaned forward. “You look like microwaved crap.”
Chuckling in surprise, Matt flapped a hand over his chest in feigned gratitude. “You really know how to boost a guy’s ego, bud. Really lifting my spirits here.”
“Stop deflecting.” Foggy hissed, his glare surely intense enough to drill two parallel holes in Matt’s skull. “How late were you out last night?”
And that was the other half of the issue. After failing to reach you and properly introduce himself, he’d been too busy spiraling to fill his best friend in on recent events. Now, so much time had passed that the omission seemed deliberate. If he asked Foggy for advice now, would their firm survive another argument about honesty? Matt doubted it.
He could still hear Foggy’s trust being torn to bits in his living room, the other man’s voice quivering with hurt and thinly veiled fury as he interrogated Matt.
“What the hell do I know about Matt Murdock?”
Letting Foggy assume he’d been losing sleep over crime in the city seemed less harmful somehow.
Shuddering against the crowning mass of guilt in his abdomen, he shrugged.
“Late.” His reply was clipped, anything beyond curt would give away the battle raging within him. “Didn’t mean to be, it just happened.”
At least that much was true.
“For fuck’s sake, Matt, you’re going to kill yourself gallivanting around in those stupid pajamas–”
“Not pajamas.” Matt interrupted, not bothering to hide his smirk when Foggy grumbled over him.
“Getting stabbed by whatever low lives are lurking in the shadows. And I’m, what, supposed to pretend you aren’t scaring the shit out of me?” Skin chafed along denim as Foggy’s hands landed on his hips.
Fiddling with a torn corner of the case file, he swallowed the lump crawling up his throat. “Foggy, I’m–”
“You’re not, Matt!” His partner exclaimed, tossing his hands in the air with exasperation and worry.
“Not what?” A second voice asked, the question light and curious, rather than filled with weeks of resentment and strife.
Both men whirled towards the open door in surprise, no doubt giving Karen an amusing spectacle, jaws dropping to the floor as they stared toward her.
“Uh–” Foggy blurted out, head swishing between the pair of them indecisively.
“Well..” Matt grimaced, threading his fingers into his hair as he desperately sought out a response. Unfortunately for his quick wit, exhaustion had coated his brain–the metaphorical wheels within screeching to a halt. Before he could even close his gaping mouth, Foggy had come to his rescue.
“Not letting me pay for coffee! Seeing as he totally foiled my plan to get here before both of you and hold my diligence over your head for the rest of the day.” Foggy sighed wistfully, no doubt dreaming of the high horse he wasn’t able to hop on.
Hands stilling over a line of text, Matt gave an exasperated huff. “You’re relentless, you know that?”
“It’s been mentioned.” Foggy smiled, grabbing Matt by the elbow and towing him out of the office. “Karen, hold down the fort, will ya?”
Karen scoffed, slightly miffed as the two men made their escape. Still being dragged by the fabric of his shirt, Matt dug his heels into the gritty carpet, yanking free of his friend’s grasp.
“She’s not gonna just let this go, Fog.” Hand fumbling for the bannister, he began his trek down the creaky stairs, Foggy hot on his heels.
“Well considering that someone has a certain illegal alter-ego she can’t know about, I’m not quite sure what I can do to remedy that.” Foggy griped, footsteps harsher than normal as the pair descended to the lobby.
Matt’s teeth clenched together as the stiffness in his jaw grew increasingly tight. “I’m sorry, Foggy. Truly, I–”
“Yah, yah, you’re sorry. I got it.” Foggy snapped, whisking past him to open the lobby door. With a sigh, he extended his arm for Matt to grasp. “Just…promise me you’ll rest tonight? You and I both know it’s been quieter this month, and I’m not kidding, dude. You’re like a walking Ambien ad.”
Accepting Foggy’s elbow, Matt hummed thoughtfully. “For you, buddy? I’ll try.”
Tumblr media
Matt was trying. He was.
In the interest of keeping his promise to Foggy, he’d planned on executing a quick loop around the kitchen before heading back to his loft to crash. Somehow, after his third useless tussle with a criminal, he’d actually followed through. Heaving trembling breaths, he stood on the roof of his building, rivulets of blood trailing down his limbs and onto the concrete at his feet. He had no idea if the crimson liquid was his or someone else’s. Probably both.
Cool air coasted over the tip of his nose, making his nostrils flare with a sigh. The tiny reprieve from the sweltering heat made him sink to the ground, following the trail of air desperately. His knees collided with concrete, sending a tremor through his bones. Head swimming, he flattened his palms along the rough surface, clenching his jaw against the roiling nausea in his stomach.
The Kitchen hadn’t been too active tonight, his last wild goose chase ended with him landing a well-aimed punch into a drunk man’s uneasy stomach, causing the guy to spill his guts across the pavement and Matt’s shoes. He’d have to throw this pair out. No amount of detergent or vigorous scrubbing would remove the scent of partially digested alcohol from the tightly woven fabric. Letting his own bile escape his sealed mouth would certainly not help the issue.
Swallowing roughly, he inhaled a slow breath, the devil whirling amidst the chaos within him. Starving for a fight, for a chance to be set free. Every cell within him was wound too tight, the primal need to unleash something strangling him, exacerbating the pounding in his head and sloshing in his gut.
On days like these, he missed her. His other half. The only person to witness his rage and accept it wholly, not shying away or asking him to dampen it. In fact, she encouraged it. Taking him to Fogwell’s, begging him to throw a punch her way, to surprise her.
That night in the ring, he’d shown her his mark. After they’d sparred–and practically devoured each other–during the brief moment of peace, he’d revealed the one thing he managed to keep from his childhood. And, with a kiss, Elektra had told him they were soulmates.
She believed it, too. At least, that’s what her heart had told him–so Matt was willing to do anything to stay with her. Indulge her every whim. Fail his classes and abandon his future if he had to, anything for her.
But it wasn’t enough. She still left. They always did. Whatever demon the clergy had failed to exorcize when he was a child had matured, mutated. Dripping fangs and barbed claws whirling around within him. Insatiable. Pushing her away.
She’d abandoned him. Leaving him alone, like his mother had his father. It was almost poetic, the way he followed in his dad’s footsteps.
His mother. His father. Stick. Elektra. Foggy had returned for now, but Matt would inevitably lose him and Karen too. Everyone he’d ever loved, gone because he was too much to bear.
A monster, a martyr, a pariah.
Nobody feels sorry for you and nobody ever will. Stick’s nasally voice taunted him, dancing around his head when he desperately shook it. He was wrong. Foggy and Karen cared. They did.
You sure about that, kid?
With a deep growl, he drew back a fist, driving it into the pavement. Knuckles quivering upon impact, he curled his other hand, mirroring the motion. The noise of the city faded into a distant hum, drowned out by the rush of blood in his ears. Hit after hit landed on the stagnant target, scraping away layers of skin and testing the strength of his bones. Without realizing it, his mouth opened, a barbaric roar tumbling from his vocal chords until they ached.
Relationships are a luxury men like you and me can't afford.
Stick was wrong. He had to be.
Hazy memories flowed over him, like a shallow current of water he was face down in, seeping into his mouth and lungs–ridding them of breath. A brief glimpse of his father’s smile, the feeling of a hand vigorously ruffling his hair. The press of plush, warm lips against his as a whiff of jasmine perfume made heat coil in his gut. The cool, clammy exterior of a beer bottle in his grip as Foggy and Karen bickered good-naturedly across the table.
You’ll be the death of ‘em, Matty. Every one of ‘em.
His cry dwindled to a rasp as the scent of copper slid over his tongue, his blood staining the cement as the skin across his knuckles split. Heaving breaths shook his torso, pained whines shuddering through him as he crawled towards the half-wall, sinking against the cool brick.
It was all too much. The blaring horns and the stifling heat and the musty scent of half-charred cigarettes. The pulsating weight in his sinuses and the sharp tang of lingering vomit spilled over his shoes. The frustrations of a difficult case and a failing justice system, only made worse by sleep deprivation and overstimulation. He wanted it to stop, all of it. Just one moment where the world wasn’t turning and time wasn’t passing and he was allowed to catch his fucking breath. To exist without feeling like a goddamn burden. To love and be loved without it feeling wrong and full of tension.
His shoulders bumped against the stiff surface he had propped himself on, trembling with the movement of his lungs. He couldn’t quite tell if he was laughing or crying. Did it matter anymore?
The stern voice of his former mentor struck him like a branding rod.
Never were strong enough, were you?
His meaning was left unsaid, though Matt heard it anyway. Not strong enough to keep his mind from unraveling. Not strong enough to be a soldier for his war. Not strong enough to keep him around–not strong enough to keep anyone around.
Fists clenching against the despair building in his chest, he tilted his head up towards the heavens, silently begging for guidance. His prayer was rewarded by a pelting droplet smacking his forehead. Pure, untainted water began to weep from the sky, slinking through the seams of his suit and crawling over his skin. The moisture soaked into the suit, forcing the material to cling to him forcefully.
A hand flew up towards his chest as it clenched painfully, his breaths became shallow and quick, as if his body had forgotten how to process oxygen. He couldn’t do this anymore.
Staggering for the door to his loft, he heaved the slab of metal open, cringing as it slammed closed behind him. The suit was ripped off, piece by never-fucking-ending piece hitting the floor of his place with an echoing slap. Finding them all again would be tedious, but he couldn’t bring himself to care. As his thick-soled boots finally left the staircase, touching down on the floorboards below, his mind was buzzing as it tried to sort through the dozens of stimuli.
The static of a TV blaring through a busted speaker in an apartment down the hall.
The piercing scream of a baby being sleep trained a few blocks away, apparently not ready to self-soothe.
The patter of an anxious heartbeat darting past his window, the thrum mingling with the pounding rain. Familiar and absolutely haunting.
A pained cry escaped him, hands whipping over his ears as he tried to drown it out. He needed to focus on something else, anything else.
But it was too late. As if he’d been teleported back to that moment, he once again stood before his soulmate as she agonized over their bond. It didn’t matter that he was crumpled in a ball on the floor of his loft, he could still hear that same tuft of air careening toward him, carrying the scent of powdery soaps and saline. It mingled with the acidic smell of tomatoes draped over pasta, the taste of potatoes lingering on his tongue. Tantalizingly warm and comforting, but cursed all the same.
Your hesitant pulse looped through his ears, matching the one scurrying down the block. Too quick. Far too quick for his liking, but no longer solid or real. A figment of his imagination, taunting him with a life he’d never live.
“...did you feel it?”
This wasn’t happening. He wasn’t with you. Your heart wasn’t convulsing wildly, supplying a horrifying rhythm beneath your question.
“Yes.”
Only God could judge him for speaking the words aloud. He was too desperate to keep you near, to hold onto the last remaining sliver of your ethereal presence. You were fading from his grasp, falling through his outstretched fingers like grains of sand.
“So, that means we're...”
He braced himself for impact, for the booming stream of beats exiting your anxious heart. The same soundtrack that had been interrupting his sleep at night because he was practically sick from the crippling guilt and his own pathetic misfortune.
Instead of growing louder, saturating his brain until he could feel each contraction of your heart, your pulse began to fade–as if…
Gritting his teeth, Matt straightened his posture, trying to pinpoint the sound. It took a moment, his exhausted brain sorting through each stimuli like a slug sorting rocks, slowly and inaccurately. Eventually, he found it–a few blocks away now, accompanied by stifled sobs and shallow breaths as the person darted through an entryway.
This wasn’t a memory, this was real.
Unless Matt had lost the final ounce of sanity he’d managed to cling to all this time, it wasn’t some random woman barreling down the streets of Manhattan, just out of his reach. It was you. And every bone in his body was convinced that something was very, very wrong.

Staring down at the same ground you sat on, you slowly lifted your head up, cheek throbbing in pain that forced a small wince from your lips, hand gingerly touching your cheek as the figure came back to view once you fully lifted your head.
"Still wanna tell me what to do?" His tone was as mocking as the smirk to stretch his lips, making you want to scowl. "Shut up." You spat, moving to get back on your feet, but you were stopped by a foot stomping down on your thigh. A yelp left your lips as he forced you to sit back down, digging the heel of his shoe into your thigh.
Groaning in pain, you moved to grab his ankle, attempting to push his leg away, but you were no match for his strength. Your attempt to push his foot made him angry instead, and he lifted his foot from your thigh, which made you exhale in relief, but it was short lived. He swung down his foot, heel digging into your thigh, and you could feel it against your femur, making you cry in pain.
"Stop!" You screamed, tears streaming down your face, hands still around his ankle except your hold was now loose. "Apologize for trying to get into my business." He demanded, and you could only glare up at him in return. There was no way in hell you'd apologize to some jerk kicking a poor animal in the alleyway, you were glad you stepped in and the dog got away, even if that made you his next target.
"Fuck you, asshole." You spat, watching him scowl at you, you moved to forcefully lift your leg, catching him by surprise as he finally stumbled back. You moved to get up before he could pull something again, the sound of his footsteps making adrenaline pump through your veins, but you picked up the sound of another pair at a much quicker pace. Looking up just in time, you saw a flash of black hair suddenly come into your view, and you saw the stranger punch the kid right in his cheek, and the kid flew further into an alleyway with a cry of pain and a thud as he landed on the ground.
Your eyes widened in shock, the stranger took it further by continuously punching the kid, straddling his torso while beating his face, and you could only watch as his back moved with every swing of his arms, the legs laying underneath twitching with every punch. His grunts from the pain eventually faded into nothing but the sound of fists repeatedly landing on his face, making you shiver.
"W-Wait..." you trailed off, shakily getting up while using the wall as support, a whimper leaving your lips at the throbbing ache in your thigh, and when you stepped on the ground, a sharp pain shot through it, forcing you to cry out in pain. Falling back onto the floor, you grabbed your thigh, panting heavily as it began to throb even more, the pain even more unbearable.
The sound of footsteps caught your attention, making you glance up to see the stranger with black hair split through the middle, amber eyes staring down at your figure on the floor. A small sweat formed at your temple, he was tall, and intimidating by his appearance alone, the look on his face was stoic yet somehow deadly. You couldn't stop yourself from glancing back at the kid lying on the ground, and you gasped at the sight of his face, bruised and busted, nose crooked to one side and bleeding.
You didn't have time to assess his condition any longer as you were grabbed by your arm and pulled up to your feet so effortlessly it made you fear uncomfortably swirl inside your stomach. You purposely avoided your foot meeting the ground, and the stranger who looked to be around your age didn't fail to notice, his brows furrowing together. "Can you walk?" He asked, his voice low with a slight roughness to it.
"No." You answered, the thought of having to walk making you wince, a small furrow settling between your brows. Without saying anything, you were suddenly pulled onto his back without much of an effort on his part, he grabbed your arms and forced them around his neck before grabbing the bottom of your thighs, lifting you further up his back while you adjusted to the sudden position.
"Where do you live?" He asked, and you blinked in shock. Why was this stranger who beat the kid into a pulp was now helping you? Well, he probably beat him up because he saw him picking on you, but why would he go out of his way to do something like that? You didn't understand. Was it really okay to tell this stranger your address?
Hesitant, you merely told him to turn around and leave the alleyway. Before turning left, and without realizing it, you ended up giving him directions to your house anyway, and he silently listened. "It's the last house on the right." You spoke silently into his ear, feeling tired, though the dull ache in your thigh kept you from completely falling asleep as its throbbing grew harsh every couple of minutes.
Still, your eyes grew heavy, and you were struggling to remain awake. "Thank you..." you whispered softly, before you were overtaken by a blanket of darkness that made you grow limp against him. "Hey." He called, furrowing his brows at the sound of your soft breathing being the only thing he got as a response. Clicking his tongue in annoyance, he adjusted you slightly before continuing his way to your house that was already in sight.
Years had passed since then, and you still can't remember how you ended up inside your house laying on your bed with a blanket draped over your body. You asked your parents who stared at you as if you grew a second head, making you give up on asking altogether, even your brother didn't have a damn clue.
Sighing, you were currently walking down the same alleyway from years back, where you first encountered the stranger, the memory now replaying in your mind. It was so faint yet so vivid, and it made an unfamiliar feeling swirl in your chest. Swaying the grocery bag you held in your hand, your free hand ran along the wall as you trailed down the alley lazily. You got some groceries to make some of your favorite food as a treat for doing well in your finals.
The sound of faint voices made its way to your ears, making you frown in confusion since you were in your neighborhood, and it was unusual for there to be that many people around at this time of the day. Though you heard some rumors that this gang had been around for a while, thankfully you hadn't run into them, but perhaps your luck ran out today.
As you walked closer, you slowed down your pace and trailed against the wall of the alleyway, hiding behind it to peek your head over carefully, and you widen your eyes at the sight of an entire group of men dressed in white coats with some characters you didn't care to read etched in the back, quickly bringing your head back as your heartbeat picked up its pace.
How were you gonna get home? What if they come over and find you? Will they beat you up? Leave you alone? Or maybe even kill you? You didn't know how to fight, let alone that many men against a single girl? Sure you did boxing up until the end of middle school but that didn't mean you were pro enough to go against this many people, it's a one vs one sport anyway! Plus, as much as you hate to admit it, you'll never be able to surpass the strength of a man since you were a woman, and that thought alone is terrifying.
Your heartbeat sounded loud in your ears, breath picking up as you contemplated what you should do, and all that made you blind to the people steadily approaching behind you. Clenching your fists, your gripped tightened onto the handle of the bag, realizing that panic won't do you any good. Maybe you should wait until they leave, or go back to safety where there's civilization, like the store.
The feeling of something harshly wrapping around your wrist made you gasp in horror, making you turn to look back at a man that towered over your obviously shorter frame, making you freeze, a lump forming in your throat while you lifted your head quickly, eyes soon connecting with a pair of amber ones. "What do we have here?" His voice made a shiver run down your spine, watching the way he cocked his head to the side, a single brow raised as he looked down at you in an indifferent manner.
His hair was dark blue with streaks of a lighter shade, and he was huge, that red coat he wore didn't do justice to hide the muscles hiding underneath. "What should we do boss?" One of the men behind him spoke, they were dressed in white coats like the ones you saw luring just around the corner. Flickering your gaze back up at him in terror, you watched a look flash across his features, his hold on your wrist tightening, making you wince.
"Go ahead without me. I won't be long." He demanded, and they immediately left, disappearing from your sight as you were left with this excuse of an utter beast. "I-I wasn't- I-" you stuttered, words catching in your throat while your mind seemingly raced. "You...look familiar." He spoke, and you stiffened, blinking away the tears that threatened to spill from your eyes. "H-huh..?"
I look familiar?
"You...ah!" He suddenly exclaimed, an eerie smile stretching his otherwise scowling face while you only stared up at him in silence due to your ongoing shock. "You're that little girl who was getting beat on by some kid." He clarified, as if you'd remember what he was referring to. "I-I don't know what...you're..." you trailed off, and his smile vanished.
"It was right here. In this alleyway. I saved you, do you not remember?" He questioned, leaning into your face as you blinked, realization dawning over your features as you looked into the same amber eyes from back then. Oh gosh, he was still tall and intimidating, though this time he was more buff, which only added to his scary appearance.
"I do...it's just...you've changed. A lot." You admitted, blinking owlishly, and he tugged you closer to him before backing you against the wall, lowering his face down to your level, and all you could do was let out a gasp from the sudden movement, breath catching in your throat at his scrutinizing gaze. "You, just look more mature. Didn't change much." He spoke, and your brows knitted together.
He then let go of your wrist, backing away. "Get out of here. This isn't a place for someone like you." He suddenly proclaimed, and you stared up at him in shock before your brows knitted together. "What? This is my neighborhood! You're the one who should leave with that pile of...dogs..!" You exclaimed unsurely, feeling angry that he would try and make you leave your own neighborhood.
"Hunh?!" He shouted, and you flinched in fear, eyes widening as he stared down at you, slowly stepping closer. "You tryna tell me what to do? Someone weak like you?" He scoffed in disbelief, hand smacking against the wall beside your head as he leaned down and into your face once more, making you unconsciously back further into the wall.
"That...doesn't matter. You shouldn't harass and pick on innocent people. I thought you out of everyone would at least understand since you've defended me in the past."  You declared, watching him knit his brows together, eyes narrowing. "That was in the past, sweetheart. I'm a different man now that violence is a part of my life, and you should also realize that already."
Softening your brows, you pulled onto your bottom lip, eyes narrowing as you looked at him in disappointment. "If you want me to leave so badly, then take away your mob since they're in the way." You informed, and his brows raised simultaneously, body pulling away. "Still live around the corner huh? We were just leaving anyway." He said, looking at you once more before turning away and disappearing around the corner. You let out a breath of relief you hadn't realized you were even holding, brows knitting softly.
Just what happened to him?
Unbeknownst to you, his mind remained on the clear disappointment that flashed through your features, making his chest fill with an uncomfortable feeling he'd remember feeling at some point in his life, but it had been too long for him to remember what it was or what it meant. Though he was sure he didn't like the thought of you feeling something like that, towards him of all people too. He didn't know why it affected him this much. Clenching his fists, he ordered everyone to follow him, leaving the neighborhood altogether.
Days had passed since your last run in with the "stranger" and you found your mind straying towards him every while without your consent. Furrowing your brows, you grabbed your coat and put it over your long sleeve turtleneck short dress that was made from wool to fight the cold weather. It was Christmas, and you wanted to take a walk to clear your mind, albeit the freezing weather.
Your parents weren't home due to a business trip despite it being a holiday. Well it was more of a getaway if you were honest, they just preferred the word "business" like it would excuse the fact they leave their children at home. Well, you were the only one here, your brother spending the holidays with his long term girlfriend like always. Sighing softly, you began to put on your footwear, grunting softly as you finally slipped the last pair on.
Reaching the doorknob, you twisted it open before pulling the door, feeling the cold wind immediately hit your face as your hair blew softly. Then you froze in your spot, eyes widening at the sight of the same man you couldn't get out of your head standing there with his red coat, a scratch on the side of his face, the look on his face was unusually calm.
Blinking, you tilted your head to the side as a frown settled onto your face. "What are you doing here..?" You inquired, watching his eyes that only remained on you until he took a step back. "I'm not sure." He answered, and your frown deepened. Feeling another gust of cold wind, you shivered, and reached to grab his hand and pull him inside despite his large figure, but he didn't seem to resist as he walked into your home, and you closed the door immediately, the cold still in your system.
Turning to face him, you looked up at his face, and the look he held made you think he was far in his thoughts. "(Name)." You said, and he finally turned to look at you, brows raising simultaneously. "I just realized we don't know each other's name." You said, and he remained silent for a while until finally speaking.
"Shiba Taiju."
You smiled. "(Surname) (Name)." You said again before gesturing towards the hall with a nod of your head, hands moving to take off your coat. "Take a seat in the living room. I'll bring some tea to help warm you up." You offered, hanging your coat on the side of the wall before taking off your shoes. Taiju also removed his shoes and coat, leaving him in a white dress shirt that hugged his muscles, not leaving much to the imagination. You blushed lightly at the thought.
Leading him down the hall, you told him to sit down on the couch before you left to the kitchen right behind, preparing tea before putting both cups on a tray, walking towards the living room and placing it on the coffee table while taking a seat on the sofa across from Taiju. Leaning back into your seat, you watched him grab the cup and take a careful slip, making you smile at the unusual sight.
"Is it okay? Too hot?" You asked softly, and he shook his head, leaning against the back of the couch after placing the ceramic cup back onto the coffee table. His shirt tightened around his torso and chest at the change of position, and you could see the outline of the muscles adorning his stomach and chest, the blush on your cheeks deepening. Why were you reacting this way?
"It's fine. I honestly don't know why I came here." He suddenly admitted, making you tilt your head as he lifted his head from the top of the couch, looking straight at you. "But I know it's because of you. My mind subconsciously took me here, and it annoys me so much, but at the same time..." he trailed off, shifting his gaze to the side.
"Maybe your subconscious took you here for a reason. Did something happen?" You inquired, and he quickly shot you a sharp glare, making you back off the topic altogether. "That's fine. Uhm...but if you don't know...then I can't possibly either." You said, watching him frown slightly. Suddenly, he stood up, walking around the coffee table and towards you, making you back away but he grabbed your wrist and pulled you up from your seat. "It's you. It has to be you. I don't know why or how this started, but I just can't get you out of my mind." He declared, making your eyes widen.
"It's so fucking annoying. I just can't stop thinking about you and that damn look you gave me the other day." He continued, staring at you so intently you could feel as if he could look right into your mind, your very being and soul. It was such a strange feeling, something you never felt before, but it was nothing new with him. Taiju makes you feel things you've never experienced before.
Taiju just felt longing towards you, something like never before. Since the day he met you, his strange behavior of actually helping someone gnawed at his mind, even if he forgot about it overtime, it still remained there in the back of his head. He didn't know how you could bring out such a side of him, and it made him annoyed and frustrated just the same. You drive him insane. Just the thought of you drives him to the near end, and whether it was a bad or good thing, he wasn't sure.
And when he met you again, his body filled with such relief he never felt before. But relief of what? Actually being able to see you again? That you were doing just fine and unharmed? He always wondered if that kid began bothering you again. Taiju just couldn't bring himself to approach you again, because all he does is cause pain and misery.
And somehow, he didn't want that for you.
Tightening his hold around your wrist, his frown deepened, and your gaze remained on him. "I also can't get you out of my head. But for some reason, I don't mind that." You admitted, a soft smile stretching your lips. Taiju was shocked by your words, his eyes wide as all he could do was stare at you in silence. Moving your free hand to reach up and cup his cheek, you carefully ran your thumb over the scratch on his face.
Taiju remained silent, but then he finally moved to sit on the couch, his hold on your wrist gone as your hand fell from his face, and you turned to face him. But he just couldn't stop thinking about your soft smile that was just for him, and your gentle touch that contrasted from his violent fists. You were the exact opposite from him, but he was drawn to you like being mesmerized by the bright stars and pale moon.
Knitting his brows, he contemplated if he could be gentle with you, touch you in such a careful and gentle manner like you did with him, making his chest spread with warmth. Gosh, he never felt that way before, and that annoyed him. Why can only you bring out such a feeling?
Glancing up from the floor, he looked at you standing in front of him with a concerned look on your pretty face. Flickering his gaze down to your wrist that hung by your side, he reached his hand to grab a hold of it, carefully and gently from his otherwise harsh grip. His fingers softly reached for yours, and he tugged you closer to him, his hand holding yours carefully. As he held your hand, his other one grabbed the end of your sleeve and pulled it up gingerly, and he felt himself grow rigid.
You glanced down at your now bare wrist, eyes landing on the forming bruises from his previous grip. Eyes widening, you quickly pulled your sleeve back down, blinking as you glanced towards his frozen form, his hold on your hand gone as he stood up from the sofa. "Taiju..." you trailed off, and he avoided your gaze, a frown etched into his features.
He moved to step away, but you panicked, hands landing on his chest to keep him still in his spot, keeping him from moving away as you looked up at him with wide eyes. "Wait...please don't...!" You exclaimed, and he finally looked into your (e/c) orbs. "Don't leave." You begged, breathing growing heavy due to your racing heart, why didn't you want him to leave? You didn't care why, you just wanted him to stay, so you were gonna make him stay.
"I shouldn't be around someone as fragile as you." He stated, and your head shook. "It doesn't hurt! Please, don't go, I promise it doesn't bother me." You explained, and he looked away from you. "It bothers me. For someone who won't hesitate to beat on anyone, I don't want to hurt you." Taiju declared, and your eyes widened in shock.
"Why? Why do you hurt people?" You inquired, and he sighed heavily, sitting back on the couch, leaning back while running a hand over his face. "It's complicated." He merely said, and you moved closer. "I'll listen." You reassured him, watching as Taiju moved to cover his eyes with his forearm, head inclined back over the top of the sofa. Though you were caught by surprise as he reached to grab your arm without pulling away his forearm from his eyes, tugging you forward as you landed on his lap.
"I don't want to talk about it." He admitted, catching you by further surprise as you were much closer, and he lifted his forearm from his eyes to look down at you, and you found a smile stretching your lips. "That's okay. Whenever you want to, I'll be here to listen." You stated, cupping his face as he finally lifted his head from the couch to look at you properly, gaze narrowing. "I don't understand." He said, staring at you in slight confusion.
"That's fine too." You smiled again, a strong urge overtaking you at the close proximity. Leaning closer, you placed a cautious kiss over his jawline, and you felt him stiffen underneath you as you still straddled his lap. Pulling away, you felt embarrassed at the action, especially at his reaction which led you to assume he clearly didn't like it.
"I'm so sorry! I-" you were cut off by his lips that quickly covered yours, you were taken aback but you quickly melted into him, your hands wrapping around his neck and pulling him closer. Taiju relished the feeling of your soft lips, his hands moving to grab your waist and pull you closer, though it just wasn't enough. His hands moved to your exposed thighs, your dress had ridden up to your hips from your close proximity.
He slid them under your dress, grabbing your hips and pushing you down, making you gasp, and he quickly shoved his tongue inside your mouth, tasting your cavern as he deepened the kiss, lips constantly moving against yours as his pace grew desperate, his hands sliding up and down from your waist to your thighs. Heat engulfed your body, making you feel feverish as something grew hard underneath you, and your underwear grew soaked as his hips bucked upwards, his grip on your hips tightening, fingers digging into the soft flesh.
Your lungs were burning for air, eyes hot and glossy as he didn't give your time to process anything, but he pulled away from the kiss, finally allowing you a much needed deep breath for air until his lips latched over yours again. The bulge in his pants grew, and your underwear practically soaked them as you continued to helplessly buck your hips, grinding down to feel his hardness press further into your walls, forcing a whine and mewl from your throat that Taiju swallowed greedily.
The pressure made your eyes roll back, breathing ragged and heavy as he also bucked his hips and held you down, making you feel how big he was underneath, and it didn't even compare to the actual size, the mere thought made your mouth go dry. He pulled away, and you didn't waste a second as you pressed kisses onto his neck, prepping them everywhere as your hands ran up and down his chest and stomach, occasionally on his shoulders as you squeezed them tightly.
The both of you were starved, hips helplessly grinding and bucking, dry humping each other for the extra friction. "Please." You found yourself saying, kissing his neck before latching your lips onto his skin, sucking and licking softly as his breathing was heavy and quick. Suddenly, you felt a heat pour from your core, making you let out a strangled whine, eyes fluttering back. Taiju chuckled, making you blush in embarrassment as it was only from merely grinding on his hardness.
"How cute." He grinned, and you looked at him in a daze, catching his sharp canines that flashed with his smile. You smiled lazily, hand trailing down his chest and over the obvious tint in his pants that were damp due to your wet underwear, and he groaned at the touch, his hand reaching to grab your wrist. "Growing desperate now, are we?" He questioned, and without a warning he wrapped an arm around your back before standing up, your arms and legs moving to wrap around his neck and torso as he carried you effortlessly.
Taiju walked into your room, and you didn't question how he knew since you were sure he'd been here before from when he carried you all those years ago. Kicking the door shut, he walked to your bed, throwing you as you bounced on the mattress while landing on your back, whereas he climbed after you.
He didn't waste another second, using his knees to support himself, he slipped his hands under your dress and removed it completely, your bra and panties following, leaving you bare before him as he engraved the sight into his memory, his staring making you grow embarrassed since he was still completely dressed. Sitting up, you began to unbutton his shirt, and he watched as you eventually reached the last button, running your hands over his shoulders as you pushed his open shirt back until he completely removed it.
Your hands then unbuttoned his pants, and the bulge grew due to the restraints from the pants being gone, and your eyes widened at the outline of his undoubtedly huge print. Gulping down the saliva in your throat, he pushed you back onto the mattress, now hovering over your smaller frame as he used an arm to prevent himself from crushing you underneath him, his hand wrapping around your thigh and pulling you further down.
You impatiently wrapped your legs around his torso, and he grinned at your needy behavior, especially at the sight of your bare and dripping cunt. "Don't worry, I'll give it to you in jus' a bit sweetheart." He reassured, making you blush from how obvious you were being with him. You hummed in agreement, and he smirked down at you, slightly pulling away to kneel down before you, he pulled down the last restraint on his boxers, cock springing up and your eyes went wide.
It was huge not only in length but in thickness, veins popping from sides as it was red and leaking precum, and you wanted to sob from the sight of it. No way it could fit, it would split you in literal half, you knew that it would hurt but you were driven by lust and the thought of his huge cock filling your aching and throbbing walls that clenched at the thought of him inside. Whimpering, you threw your head back against the mattress and shut your eyes, feeling a hand grab a hold of your hips. "Be a good girl and take it." He said softly, yet his tone was demanding.
"O-Okay." You responded, feeling the tip of his head pressing against your entrance until he gave a slight push, and you cried out at how much it immediately stretched your walls that were already tightening around him. "S'too big..!" You cried, eyes growing hot with tears. "Fuck. You're so tight." He groaned, looking down at your red face. "It's barely in." He informed you, and you wanted to cry from his words. "I can't, I can't take it..!" You sobbed, shaking your head with tears streaming down your face. If this was a little bit, how would the entirety of his cock fit inside you?
"I don't care." He stated, and you whined, even though it was uncomfortable, you still wanted him, no, you needed him. "I'll take it. I need it so please do it in one push." You begged, and Taiju smirked at your pitiful pleas, his hands grabbing your hips, and at once he pulled back before driving into your hole, you cried out and he groaned, unable to suppress the noise as your tight walls clenched around his cock uncontrollably that made him want to drive into you without mercy.
You were sobbing, the painful stretch was too much and tears ran down your cheeks, your breathing now heavy and ragged. "fuck..!" You cried, Taiju leaning over your body as he pressed himself against you, hand cupping your face to wipe away the tears streaming down your cheek. "Good girl. You took it so well." He praised, straining himself from the grunt threatening to leave his lips at the feeling of your walls clenching around his dick.
Taiju prepped your neck and chest with kisses, as you were still adjusting to his size, the pain beginning to fade away after a while as he forced himself to not move, just littering kisses and praising you for taking all of him. You felt so good and looked so beautiful to him, he wanted nothing more than to take this time and show you how much he cares and spoil you before he ruins the fuck out of you.
The pain faded, it still felt uncomfortable since you weren't used to it but it wasn't entirely bad as before, and Taiju softly licked and kissed a spot on your chest, your hands moved to entangle themselves through his hair, a soft sigh leaving your lips. "Taiju..." you called him, he pulled away to look up at you, now moving to kiss your cheekbone as a hum left his lips in response. "Please..." You pleaded, and he stopped before pulling away slightly as he stared down at your face.
"You sure?"
"I'm sure." You nodded reassuringly, and he blinked before kissing your forehead, your legs moving to wrap around his hips, your hands playing with his hair until he finally pulled out, making your whimper until he began to thrust into you, and you felt him immediately hit your sweet spot with each thrust, causing you to become a moaning mess from the pleasure you felt, tugging at his locks and running your hands over his back, occasionally gripping into his bare muscles at the feeling of his huge cock filling you up.
Taiju grunted and groaned occasionally, his eyes never leaving you due to how pretty you looked being fucked out by his cock, and he intently listened to every noise you made as he drove himself inside you, your walls clenching around him, trying to milk him dry of all his seed. Looking up at Taiju, you met his amber orbs that stared down at you, and your hand moved to cup his cheek, his own moving to trace his fingers along your arm and wrist, admiring the way you smiled up at him.
"Taiju..." you mewled softly, fingers fiddling with his ear as you felt a familiar warmth spread down your stomach, head leaning back as you came, Taiju feeling how your walls spasmed and became slippery around his dick, but he managed to keep his pace steady and hard, admiring every single time you moaned, his name occasionally slipping past your lips along with some pleas that your fucked out brain could barely manage to make out.
You were fucked dumb, losing count of that many times you came, was it four? Maybe five? You didn't know, but you felt overstimulated and your body was sore, cramping as he continued to fuck your cunt without missing a single beat, you walls uncontrollably clenching but also sore and abused, your thighs leaking with all your previously releases that undoubtedly soaked the sheets beneath you.
Taiju finally felt his balls twitch, and he came with a low groan, feeling your walls also tighten as you released at the same time, Taiju released his seed into your womb, stuffing you as your walls were coated white from his cum.. He breathed deeply, finally noticing your limp body on the mattress, and he felt his eyes widen. Your eyes were shut, hair stuck to your neck and face from the sweat to coat your body. He moved to tap your cheek, noticing the way your chest rose and fell with every breath.
Realizing you must've passed out, he left to grab a towel and cleaned his release from your stomach before also grabbing a water from your kitchen, walking back inside the room to see your lidded eyes blink up at him. "Taiju..?" You asked softly, and he flashed you a smile before sitting against the headboard, pulling your body towards him, chest pressed against your back as he sat you up and made your drink some water.
"It's okay. We can take a warm bath and I'll take care of you, so relax." He reassured, watching you turn to the side to properly look up at him, he reached to grab the back of your head, pulling you closer to place a kiss atop your head. Smiling softly, you let yourself fall back into the comforting blanket of darkness as Taiju took care of you.
