How Daiki Aomine likes to show affection
wc:0.9k Warnings: fluff, slightly suggestive, swearing summary: just cute things Daiki does to show you he loves you :P
Tumblr media
The sun had barely risen when Daiki found you in the kitchen, flipping pancakes and humming a tune. You knew he had practice this morning so you wanted to make him some breakfast that he could eat before he went so he wouldn't have an empty stomach.
He sidled up behind you, arms wrapping around your waist as he nuzzled his face into your neck, a warm smile playing on his lips as his large body enveloped yours.
"Morning, sleepyhead," he mumbled, peppering your neck with soft kisses, his kisses tickling your skin, making you pull away slightly with a few giggles falling from your mouth. His grip on your waist made it impossible for you to actually move away from him.
You laughed, turning your head slightly to steal a quick peck on his cheek. "Hey, you're gonna distract me, and then these pancakes will burn."
A mischievous glint sparked in his eyes, and he tightened his hold around you. "I'd rather have you than perfect pancakes," he murmured, his warm breath sending shivers down your spine.
"Daiki... you have training," you reminded him, your tone firm
He spun you around, hoisting you up onto the bench and stepped between your legs, holding your thighs apart with his hands as he leant forward, a smirk on his lips, "Training can wait... I want my breakfast first"
You push him back with a laugh and hop off the bench, going back to the pancakes and quickly flipping them, "sorry Dai, not this morning."
His affectionate nature often spoke louder than words. Daiki had his own way of expressing love without needing to say those three little words outright. Forehead kisses were his specialty, his lips meeting your forehead with a tenderness that spoke volumes about his feelings.
As the morning sun painted the kitchen in hues of gold, Daiki pressed a gentle kiss to your forehead, his lips lingering there for a moment before resting his forehead against yours. It was a silent promise, an unspoken declaration of his affection.
He noticed a few stray strands of hair falling over your face and tucked them behind your ear, his thumb brushing your cheek softly. "There," he said, a small smile gracing his lips. "Now I can see your beautiful face properly."
You leaned into his touch, savoring the warmth and familiarity of his presence. It was those little gestures, the way he'd interlace his fingers with yours unexpectedly or pull you into a sleepy back hug while you cooked, that made your heart flutter.
"Want me to help?" Daiki asked, his chin resting on your shoulder as he reached for a spatula, his closeness adding a sense of comfort to the morning routine.
"Nah, I've got this," you replied, feeling his arms still wrapped around you, a sense of contentment settling within.
His protectiveness often shone through in subtle ways. Walking down a busy sidewalk, Daiki would switch positions with you, guiding you to the safer side, always keeping a watchful eye to ensure your safety.
Even in the busiest of mornings, when his off days clashed with your work commitments, Daiki's playful clinginess never wavered. He'd hold you a little longer, steal a few extra kisses, and reluctantly let go when it was time for him to leave.
"Hey, I remembered you mentioned liking this snack," Daiki grinned, producing a pack of your favourite treats as he returned home from training. "Thought it'd make your day better."
It was those thoughtful gestures that made your heart swell. Daiki always seemed to remember the little things, the details that made you feel seen and appreciated.
During his overseas trips for games, Daiki would often send pictures of random things he saw, every single one a silent reminder of you. A text accompanied each picture, a simple 'reminded me of you.'
In social situations that made you uneasy, Daiki's reassuring grip on your hand grounded you. He'd squeeze your hand gently, offering silent support throughout the event, his presence a calming anchor in a sea of discomfort.
Sometimes, tears would fall, and Daiki would kiss them away, his touch a balm to your pain. He never hesitated to let you cry on his shoulder, his t-shirt soaked with your tears, never once complaining.
"Everything okay?" Daiki would ask, concern etched on his face, always meeting you where you were, emotionally and mentally.
He wholeheartedly supported your dreams, making concrete plans and ensuring they came to fruition. Daiki would often drop encouraging texts before an important event, his words a source of strength.
Surprises were his forte. He'd bring home flowers for you, just because. No occasion, no reason, only his desire to see you smile.
If he was ever away for basketball, each morning and night, a text would pop up on your phone. "Good morning," or "Goodnight," accompanied by a heart emoji or a simple 'miss you.'
His way of saying 'I love you' without uttering the words explicitly extended to the little details. Daiki made you a Spotify playlist, songs that reminded him of your relationship or just songs he thought you would like. His memory was impeccable, recalling your preferences and quirks with ease.
One day, as you studied, flipping through pages of your textbook, you found post-its with little notes Daiki had left for you. Words of encouragement, doodles, and hearts, all scattered within the pages, each note bringing a smile to your face.
Hope you liked it ;P Written by: adiraargent Please do not take credit, steal, or repost anywhere else Requests are open :)

The best hugger in town - Aomine Daiki x Reader
for @shoulmate
Tumblr media
“Tetsu-kun gives the best hugs,” Satsuki points out.
“I disagree,” you tell her calmly, not looking up from your book.
“But-!”
“Uhuh,” you shake your head, not losing your spot. “You’re just saying that because you’re into him. But as someone who’s not biased, I give him a five out of ten. He’s straight middle field.”
On your right, Daiki snorts under his breath. You lose your spot, furrowing your brows as you try to find it again. What sentence were you reading again?
“But-” Satsuki’s looking for the right words. “Wait, wait… what about the others then? I bet he’s better at hugging as the rest. Right?”
“He’s better than Midorima,” you agree, your brows relaxing. “He’s way too stiff.”
“When did you hug Midorima?” Daiki asks, turning. His left foot knocks against yours, throwing you off your spot in the page yet again. With a huff, you close your book. It’s no use, it seems.
“A few months ago,” you recall. “Appartenly Oha Asa called for it.”
“Bullshit,” Daiki spits out, sitting up straighter. “I bet he just wanted to know how it feels like and he’s too afraid of Satsuki to ask her.”
“Maybe.” You shrug. “But I give him a three out of ten.”
“See,” Satsuki nods. “Tetsu-kun’s hugs are better than-”
“Sorry,” you interrupt her again, your whole focus on her now. “But don’t forget about Kise. And Murasakibara. Or Akashi.”
Daiki’s glaring holes into your head as Satsuki’s face falls.
“Don’t tell me,” she starts, cutting herself off as you nod.
“Kise gets a seven out of ten. He’s too eager and too careless at the same time. He hit my chin with his shoulder. I almost lost a tooth to it.”
“And Mursakibara?”
“Eight.” You nod solemnly. “I would have bumped it up if not for the fact that he left crumbs in my hair. He’s really warm. And tall.”
Daiki’s turned rigid. Satsuki must have noticed, but she keeps on asking.
“And Akashi?”
“It’s Akashi,” you tell her simply. “He’s perfect.”
“A ten?” Daiki asks, his voice doing something weird.
“Oh, no. He’s a nine.” You shake your head, biting your tongue. “I am into taller guys, you know.”
Satsuki huffs and leans back, missing the way Daiki’s eyes widen. But you don’t miss it. You’ve been looking for it.
His shoe knocks against yours. You knock back.
“Doesn’t matter,” Satsuki declares, oblivious to what’s going on around her. “Tetsu-kun’s the best hugger to me.”
“You should tell him that,” you offer and she nods, getting up.
“You’re totally right. I’m going to tell him right now.”
Maybe you should have pointed out that she still needed to pay her drink, but you don’t really mind her leaving early. After all, a warm hand has grabbed yours under the table, rubbing anxious circles into your skin.
Daiki’s not saying it. So you don’t mention it either.
-
Eventually he pays, pulls you up by your hand and stuffs your book into his bag, knowing full well your purse can’t contain the monstrosity of a book you’ve decided to read this week.
You’re halfway down the road when he speaks up again.
“So…”
“So?”
“What’s my rating?”
“Do I really have to tell you that?” You ask, “Mr. No one can beat me but me?”
“Heh,” he grins, his confidence shining through. “Don’t tell me I’m a ten out of ten.”
“I don’t think I could possibly rate you,” you admit. “I’m pretty biased, after all.”
Daiki pouts. “Come on. You can’t just rate everyone and not me. Also, how did you get to hug so many of us?”
“I just asked. Most people don’t mind a hug.”
“You… You asked? You asked Akashi if you could hug him?”
“Well, Akashi was a little different. I told him I was in love with you. He hugged me as a kind of consolation. I think he wanted me to do better.”
Daiki’s face is frozen in a mix of bewilderment and indignation as you laugh.
“What do you mean, do better? How could you do better than me?”
You snort. “Oh, Daiki, you’re so full of yourself.”
“Deserved.”
“You lost to Tetsu! Again. And Kagami, cause, you know, they’re both on the same team.”
“No way in hell is Kagami better for you than I am! Does he even read?”
You swing your joined hands up and kiss the back of his, reveling in the way his eyes widen. Even though he doesn’t blush, the signs are always there, you just have to look for them.
“Easy there, tiger. I already love you.”
“You better.” He grumbles, before looking both ways and pulling you down a beaten path into a park, past swingsets, and a Basketball court.
“Where are we going?”
“Somewhere private,” he tells you over his shoulder, turning left and stopping just short of a group of trees, falling into a slower walk.
“Are you going to murder me now?” You joke. “For hugging Akashi?”
“I should, shouldn’t I? Hugging him before you hugged me.”
“You could have hugged me whenever,” you tell him, “All you needed to do was ask.”
“What? Like, can I hug you?”
“Sure,” you step closer and wrap your arms around him.
For a second, he’s tense, as if you caught him by surprise.
But then, just like always, he softens.
For someone so tall and so full of raw power, Daiki can melt into your embrace in seconds, sinking into your hold while keeping you safe at the same time.
If you would have to describe it, you wouldn’t have words.
He’s incredibly warm, his heat present even through the jacket he’s wearing.
His head sinks against your shoulder, his nose sniffing at your neck.
“What are you doing?” You giggle, curling your fingertips into his shoulders.
“You smell really good,” he drawls out, as if he’s not the one who buys expensive Cologne, who’s probably the best smelling out of all his friends - well, except Akashi maybe, but his Cologne isn’t really your type.
“Next time, when Satsuki asks,” he points out, voice low and gravely, “tell her I’m the best hugger.”
“She won’t believe me.”
“Don’t care.” His lips brush against your skin and you shiver. “I need to hear you say it.”
“You’re so cocky.”
He pulls on a strand of your hair, swaying you from left to right.
You’re not getting out of here anytime soon.
Not that you’re complaining.
-
“Ah, come here.” Kagami leans down for a hug, pulling you in before you have time to complain. He’s tall and broad, but just like Kise, he doesn’t account for the difference in size, knocking your head back with his shoulder.
“Ouch,” you say, sensing Daiki’s laughter before you hear it.
“Not a ten out of ten,” he jokes, pulling you to his side. Quieter, he whispers “No one can beat me but you.”

Notes- To the Beach! GOM x fem!Reader
Return to File
Recovery date: May 10th, 2024
Description: hiii!! hope your having a good day, I was wondering if I could request GoM x reader (separately) with a maybe more quiet and shy reader when they go to the beach and see her in a bikini (maybe a bit suggestiveee but it’s up to you!) they can get a bit flustered and protective 😭 thank you so much and dw if you don’t/can’t complete it <3,
Notes: This work was recovered in conjunction with @smtere we thank them for their contributions. Hope you don't mind the headcanons, it was the easiest for so many people. This is meant to be post last game, probably summer of their 3rd year.

Tumblr media
Akashi
Is the most outwardly chill about it
Though he does find his gaze drifting and lingering (Aomine got halfway through calling him out once before eating sand)
The first time he justifies it as admiring your swimsuit, every other time is just a whoopsie
He’s not weird about it though, and he tries his best not to stare
Makes sure you put on sunscreen/ cover up if he thinks you need it
Will complement how it looks on you
I did say “most outwardly chill” and I meant it
He may seem cool as a cucumber but if you hug him he will short circuit
He doesn’t get much affection on a normal day and while he is much more mature than his friends, I refuse to believe this boy is not fighting off indecent thoughts every so often
Build a sand castle with him please
Midorima
Flustered and can’t hide it
Dude is pink, and not from the sun
His gaze also drifts and lingers but he won’t even give himself a chance to admire you
You cannot convince me Takao has not corrupted him, at least a bit, he can’t look at you without hear Takao teasing him
Like Akashi he looks out for you if you’re prone to sunburn
Midorima isn’t weird about you wearing a bikini, he just makes it weird by actively avoiding looking anywhere but your face
He definitely relaxes throughout the day though
By the time you’re leaving he compliments you, having finally looked somewhere other than your face
He’s fine with whatever you want to do, might even begrudgingly let you bury him
Kise
The most chill, he has sisters so bikinis aren’t something overly suggestive to him
That said it’s you so it does make him a bit flustered
He is also the most obviously protective because as a model he’s very familiar with… lingering gazes, there will always be weirdos
Keeps a shirt on while on the beach, claiming he can’t afford to burn, but it's actually incase you want it for whatever reason
He definitely enjoys the extra contact though, whether that be an arm around your waist or offering to carry you on his back, Kise strikes me as a touchy person
If your swimsuit starts to come loose he’ll offer to fix it for you
Showers you in complements
Wants to collect shells and swim
Murasakibara
Could not give two shits
Kise was chill, Murisakibara just doesn’t care
He compliments the swim suit, and he definitely stares a bit but when he gets caught he apologizes and looks away
Won’t initiate physical contact but doesn’t mind it, feeling your skin brush against his when you hugged him did make him jump a bit though
I don’t really have much to say here because I really don’t think he’d care
Although he will confront anyone making you uncomfortable, his stature is more than enough to make most people back down
Wants to spend the day lounging on the beach, you might be able to convince him to come float with you
Aomine
If it was anyone but Aomine it would be weird
Shamelessly stares
You can call him out on it but he’ll just make a sound of acknowledgement and keep staring, unless you tell him he’s making you uncomfortable
He may be forward and unashamed but he’s not a complete ass
If someone else is making you uncomfortable or just keeps staring he will fight them, though he tries to avoid that
Asked Momoi for one of her towel jackets for you incase you wanted it, he almost regretted it when she started teasing him for being a softy
He compliments you, but it’s stuff like “your boobs look nice”
Will imply he’d like to see you “show off” more often
Also fairly touchy, like Kise, and will offer to help fix your swimsuit if needed
He will also throw you into the water, there is no escaping
Kuroko
Like Akashi he’s outwardly cool and inwardly panicking just a bit
He will try and fight anyone making you uncomfortable but Aomine and the others have to save him
Like Akashi and Midorima will keep an eye out if you’re prone to sunburn
Any physical contact you make with him will spook him just a bit
He’s close with Momoi, and we know she wears bikinis so I think like with Kise they aren’t anything suggestive to him
I don’t have much to say here either because Kuroko doesn’t really wear his heart on his sleeve, though he will linger a bit closer to you throughout the day
Complements your swimsuit
Prefers to spend the day reading on the beach

Tumblr media
I miss knb and I wanted to write something for aomine :’) I’ve never written for him and it’s been a while since I’ve watched the show, so forgive me if you feel that his characterization is a bit off. hello from late january cause that’s when I’m queuing this 👋🏻
gn!reader, no physical descriptions. lots and lots and lots of fluffy pet names bc that’s the focus of the drabble. he calls you shnookums once just to annoy you bc he’s a little shit. that’s a warning in itself tbh. mentions of alcohol/drunk character. characters written as adults, not high schoolers.
Tumblr media
aomine has specific nicknames for you depending on the situation you find yourselves in.
he reserves “babe” or some shortened variation of your name for when you’re in public.
it’s quick, it’s casual, and it doesn’t get him a lecture on why it’s not funny to very loudly address you as “shnookums” when you get separated at the grocery store.
(though in his defence, he thought it worked wonders. you were back at his side within seconds after straying too far on accident with a half embarrassed, half pissed off look on your face. he thought it was hilarious.)
~~~
he calls you “baby” when he greets you after a long day at work. when he’s picking you up from your classes. normally only in your presence, because he doesn’t need the teasing remarks about how soft he’s become from his teammates.
not that he really cares at the end of the day- he’ll call you what he wants to call you (provided you also like it, of course) but there’s something less casual about it that makes him want to keep it just for you.
that “something” being the time you got drunk and offhandedly mentioned loving the way it sounds in his voice. he now gets to enjoy the small, barely noticeable uptick of your lips whenever he opts for it. no one else gets to see that.
he’ll help you with your coat and press a kiss to your hairline, murmuring a soft “hey baby, missed you today”.
it’s probably the most common of the names he uses on you out of all the available options.
~~~
he saves the saccharine pet names for when he knows you’re not feeling your best. whether you’re mentally drained, physically exhausted or sick to any degree, there’s never not a time when hearing him be sickeningly sweet with you doesn’t ease the pain.
“need anything else, sweetheart?”
“how are you feeling, gorgeous?”
“yeah, we can cuddle, doll, cmere.”
these are also the times he plays up the compliments (more than usual).
“even when you’re sick, you’re still the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. don’t let it get to your head, though. or do- I know how to deal with that just fine, too.”
~~~
he doesn’t have one set nickname for you when you visit him at practice, but when you watch him play in an official game?
as long as you’ve known him, he’s never believed in luck- he got himself to where he is with his skills, luck had nothing to do with it.
so it surprises you the first time he refers to you as his good luck charm. it’s not said in some grand gesture, not brought up in those fluff promotional interviews when reporters ask him if he has one.
it’s whispered quietly into your ear before he jogs onto the court.
a murmured thank you against your lips as soon as he’s running off again, high on a win, straight to you.
you ask him about it one day and he just shrugs. “everything is different now. I play better when I know you’re watching, it’s energizing in a way I’ve never felt before. you’re right, I still don’t believe in luck, but somehow I was able to find you. and I don’t know if I would call that luck, either, but until I find a better way to explain it you’re just gonna have to put up with that title a bit longer.”
so you do, without complaints, because it’s cute trying to watch him convey his feelings honestly and still in a very aomine way.
~~~
your absolute favourite nickname that he’s given you, though? angel.
you’re his angel.
the title is first appointed when you pick him up one night from a bar after celebrating with his team. his usually brooding expression visibly lights up when he sees you and he makes his way over. it’s been a while since he’s been this drunk, so it makes you laugh when he stumbles over and throws an arm around your shoulders.
“what a sweetheart, you really came to pick me up?”
you scoff and try to get him into the car, waving at his teammates who were staying with him until you got there. “what, baby, you thought I wouldn’t?”
he shrugs with an absentminded grin. “it’s just nice to have a… battle angel or whatever that term is. I dunno what it is.”
you can’t help but laugh. “you mean a guardian angel?”
“same thing, you knew what I meant!” his words are slurred and he’s now leaning his entire body weight against you.
“oh you are so wasted, daiki, let’s get you home.”
and it’s whispered again at home as he’s falling asleep, “my angel… thank you for taking care of me tonight.”
your heart squeezes.
now it’s reserved for only the most intimate of moments with him- he doesn’t want to overuse the name and risk it losing its meaning.
because it does hold a deeper, unspoken meaning between the two of you.
after a long time apart because of his away games? after he wins an important match? loses a match and he’s thankful you’re there with him? you get a promotion at work? you pass a difficult class with flying colours? all situations where he’d call you angel.
he has a full arsenal of names for you, clearly, and you love every single one of them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
this feels a bit messy. even after editing, I feel like the quality went down a bit, so we’ll see if I end up posting it. but I love him a lot and I’ve been rewatching knb, so I needed to do something for him to keep the brainrot at bay.
Hi! I was wondering how would GOM + Takao react to their s/o having mood swings during their period like one moment their s/o is normal and the next they are angry because their ice cream isn't cold enough to eat and it's melting and they put it in freezer and when they try to eat the ice cream again it's too cold to eat and their gums hurt. Sorry if it's confusing..
Hi anon ! No worries, I think I understood the assignment (hopefully), and I symparthise with you deeply. Period mood swings are the worst :< These kinda ended up being general period comfort hcs, hope that's ok too ! Anyway, here's some comfort with the boys <33
GoM + Takao x afab reader on their period
Aomine
When he sees how annoyed you get over your ice cream being half melted, he's a little taken aback. If you guys haven't been together for very long, he'd probably tell you to calm down or be confused. However, if it's been some time, he'll figure it out quickly enough.
Will put the ice cream back in the freezer for you and bring you some hot cocoa and a hot water bottle to help you feel more relaxed and to make the cramps more bearable.
When you take the ice cream out of the freezer again and hurt your gums, he probably tries to comfort you, although he isn't good with words
Instead, he brings you some other snack, like fruits or cake, and lets you snuggle with him.
Initially, he tries to get you to do a light work out with him to make the pain better, even if you aren't particularly athletic
Will definitely massage your uterus area and shoulders to help you relax, as well as stroke and kiss you all over (he's really good at it too)
Might make a joke about how orgasms are the best way to relieve period pains, but if you're in a truly terrible mood, he'll hold his tongue.
Still teases you, though he'll stop and apologize if you seem genuinely upset
Will make sure anyone who gives you grief or makes your mood swings worse regrets it really quickly
doesn't have pads in the bathroom for you but will happily go out to the store and get you anything you need
Still takes baths with you and will wash your hair and massage you in the bathtub- doesn't really give a fuck about the blood
"What size pussy do you have, babe ?"
Kise
When he sees how quickly your mood changes as a result of the ice cream being half melted, he figures it out pretty much right away.
He'll hug you and run his hands down your back, while reassuring you that it's not that serious, and that you can always eat something else. Puts the ice cream back in the freezer and comes up with skincare, makeup, candles, magazines... all the essentials for a self care night ! (If you ask nicely, he'l even let you do his makeup- he secretly loves it)
Lets you choose what show to watch and chats with you about anything and everything as you have your self care night with the show in the background
When you get the ice cream from the freezer again and your gums start to hurt, he'll kiss you better
Also strikes me as the kinda guy who would keep pads/tampons in his bathroom for you
Akashi
This man can pretty much sense when you're on your period, it's actually kinda unsettling
Anyway, as soon as he realizes you're having a bad day with your mood swings, he'll start treating you like royalty (even more so than normal)
Suggests that you eat something else and comes back with some warm noodles
He gives you massages all over- thighs, back, shoulders... all while reassuring you that you'll figure everything out, that it just seems like a massive deal now
Promises you that you can take one of his eyes if he ends up being wrong (yea this man is really something else)
Will bring you candles/flowers and just snuggle with you quietly as you rest
Happily listens to you vent if you feel the need to
Will be happy to help with any schoolwork you have due
Will personally see to it that anyone who tries bother you is too scared to talk to you ever again.
Like Kise, he also keeps pads in the bathroom for you
Murasakibara
Doesn't realize you're on your period until your cramps and mood swings get really bad
He's not particularly good at comforting you when you're in a bad mood, but he'll carry you upstairs to his bed and snuggle with you. He'll even get out of bed to get you a hot water bottle and some hot chocolate
Gives you one of his hoodies to sleep in. It's way too big for you and he thinks you look adorable in it
Stays and snuggles with you until you feel better (you end up falling asleep with your head on his chest and your limbs intertwined)
When you wake up, he'll bring some snacks from his personal stock and share them with you
Is too lazy to go to the store to buy you pads/tampons, so he'll just call Himuro and ask him to do it
Like Akashi and Aomine, he won't take kindly to people upsetting you, especially when you're on your period.
Kuroko
He's oblivious- he understands you're in a bad mood, and wants to help, but you have to spell it out for him before he realizes that you're on your period.
He's a little shy and awkward, partially because he isn't sure about what he should do, but he very much wants to make it better
Definitely asks Kagami and the Seirin guys for advice and they all look at him like wtf
Will listen to you rant for hours on end, and will be more than happy to comfort you and give you advice
Anything you ask him to do, he does- buy pads, make you dinner, put a specific programme on the TV... he's doing it as soon as you say the word
Also very happy to massage your shoulders and uterus, even tough he isn't really sure about how to do it
Will be very careful about how he talks to you and conducts himself- he doesn't accidentally want to make it worse
Literally your number one fan if you start to doubt yourself, he's so sweet
"You always look stunning, Y/N,"
Won't snuggle with you unless you ask for it because he doesn't want to invade your personal space too much (he's such a gentleman)
Midorima
God help you
He's really really awkward about it
Figures it out relatively quickly from your mood swings but pretends he doesn't because he has no clue how to act
Like Kuroko, he's really careful about how he behaves around you because he wants to avoid pissing you off
Will try to be patient and listen to you rant nonsensically- if he knows you're having a bad day, he'll do his best to comfort you, although he's mostly the kinda guy who tries to find rational solutions to problems instead of telling you what you want to hear
Reads your zodiac chart every day and gives you advice based off of it. Also brings you a lucky item of your own if you're really feeling down (at least he tried)
However, if someone tries to mess with you, his energy completely changes and he'll make sure they don't do it again
Will buy you pads/tampons, though he'll be really awkward about it
Takao
At first he just thought you were in a bad mood, then he suddenly realised that you were probably on your period
Teases you a lot less to avoid hurting your feelings
Like Aomine, he'll probably make a joke about how orgasms are the best way to cure period cramps, but he'll shut up if you tell him to
Comforts you for hours on end wen you're down - he couldn't live with himself if he knew you were sad and he wasn't there to support you
Laughter is a medically proven medicine
Will tell you jokes and funny stories to take your mind off of the mental (and physical) pain
Also spams you with memes and tiktoks
Very happy to take it easy and just cuddle in bed while watching shitty TV
Will go to the store and buy you pads/tampons without an ounce of hesitation
Can be affectionate but not too much in public. He prefers holding your hand or just a simple kiss on the forehead but once you two are back. He would love to give you a cuddle and give you tiny pecks.
He also likes a human version of a backpack, you forget to bring something? He already has the stuff inside of the pocket of his pants. (For example, you forgot to bring your lotion? It's already in his pocket and ready to give it to you).
A gentleman, he does not believe in fifty-fifty. He would pay for the meals and the drinks if you two decide to go to the restaurant or to the cafe together.
Very caring, if you are sick or injured. He already prepared the bandages and the antiseptic to clean your wounds or a painkiller or any other medicine if you are sick that day.
Tons of woman are going to be jealous of you and would be glaring dagger back at you because you have a hot boyfriend who cares about you and they wishes that they have a boyfriend like him.
A good listener, he would listen to you every rent even if you are making fun of someone or even if he doesn't really understand the topic (but he tries to give the best answer).
(Imma say this-) Senpai in the street but hentai in the sheet. His innocent looks always fool you because he acts like he hasn't just said something that made you red and would put on an innocent smile when someone is speaking to him.
Rarely gets mad at you because he knows he's the type who's angry, he would say hurtful things so it's better to give some space for him when he is in a bad mood.
Always had his poker face on so it was going to be hard to decipher his emotion so you had to learn. When he's angry, he usually has a more stern tone but when he is normal, he would use a softer tone around you.
On a sunny afternoon, the sun goes down after it is in the highest spot in the sky and burns everyone with its heat. In the hall of the Yōsen school, a person with (H/C) hair colour with (H/L) hair length, (E/C) eye colour, and (S/C) skin colour standing near the locker of the school.
(Y/N) glances around as your eyes look for the certain prince charming. The two of you had been busy with all of the homework and the projects that were given by the lecturer and (Y/N) along with the prince charming had missed each other so much that they decided to hang out after his basketball practice.
Sighing in boredom, (Y/N)'s eyes would keep shifting between the hallway of the school and then the screen on her/his/their phone. "(Y/N)-san?" You hear a familiar sound calling your name. Glancing up, the stunning gave an apologetic smile to you for making you wait. "Were you waiting for me? I'm really sorry for making you wait. Coach Masako told us to clean up after our practice," Himuto said. "It's okay, at least you were just a little bit late. Not bailing out on our date," (Y/N) smiles and closes her/his/their eyes.
His fingers gently intertwined between your fingers and gently pulling you closer to him. Your cheeks change from the (S/C) and turn into a red hue, his little gesture is adorable. "I'm not sure if you had your lunch or not but if you have. I know a great place that sells tasty sweets," the shooting guard of Yōsen said. "Oh, don't worry. I already ate. Where are you going to bring me?" You ask. "It's a surprise," he places his finger on your lips, teasing you as he put on his innocent smile.
Just like a gentleman, the captain of Yōsen player pushes the glass door open to let you get inside. The ambience of the pastry shop was comforting, the floor was made out of Mahogany wood planks and the wall had a picture of a Victorian old city along with an old phonograph placed next to the cupboard that was full of beautiful decorated mugs.
(Y/N) is amazed by the sight of the pastry, its warm and inviting display creating a cozy atmosphere. Entranced by the delicious array before them, Himuro gently takes (Y/N)'s hands. "You should see the sweets this pastry has. I think they have your favourite dessert," Himuro told you. (Y/N) nods in agreement, captivated by the words of the pasty has your favourite dessert, and follows Himuro to the cashier.
At the cashier, (Y/N) gazes at the dessert menu, their/her/his eyes lighting up with joy upon finding the name of the treat you desires. Sensing (Y/N)'s excitement, Himuro glances at the cashier. "Excuse me, ma'am. I would like a plate of (Favorite Dessert) and pretzels. How much would it be?" Himuro asks the old woman in front of him. "Alright, that will be ¥858.00," The cashier confirms the couple.
Before (Y/N) could retrieve her/his/their wallet, Himuro swiftly took out his phone and activated the camera to scan the barcode for payment. A surprised (Y/N) watches as Himuro pays for the desserts, a gesture that catches them/him/her off guard.
You had intended to split the cost, willing to share the expense and not burden your boyfriend. "Himuro-san, it's okay. I can pay for myself," you told him, feeling a sense of guilt for not wanting to burden him with the entire expense. Himuro gazes at (Y/N) with a gentle smile, shaking his head as he reassures, "It's okay, (Y/N)-san. Besides, I asked you to hang out with me, so it is only fair that I pay for our date,"
Hanamiya Makoto
Tumblr media
Aren't affectionate unless he wants to brag you in front of his teammate. He wants to rub in everyone's faces that he has a hot S/O and the rest are still single.
A tease and also a sadist, he likes to degrade you and makes fun of you but he won't hurt you that bad since you are his S/O. Also, won't apologize unless he saw you cry and he would begrudgingly apologize for hurting you.
If you don't like Dark jokes and creepy jokes. I'm sorry but he won't be good for you because the only thing that can make him laugh genuinely and think it's funny are dark and creepy jokes.
Be careful how you act, he is observant so if you lie. He already knew that you were lying to him and he would investigate the truth without you knowing it.
Do you want him to be less asshole to you? The answer is simple, bribe him with dark chocolate (Not always working, this only works if you want him to teach you when you two study). He loves them.
Actually, if you know how to banter around and aren't sensitive. You would most likely see him actually joking around with you, he can be pretty funny but he only shows it to certain people.
It's canon that he likes idiotic s/o because he could manipulate them BUT that's how are you not gonna survive dating him. YOU HAVE TO outsmart him because he would purposely put you in a situation you do not want to.
Surprisingly, he's not all that mean to his S/O. Since you are his soft spot, he would be willing to share his chocolate with you. He has never let ANYONE touch his chocolate.
He likes to tease you in public. He would whisper lots of dirty things in your ear until you were red from embarrassment and then smile innocently before shrugging when someone asked why are you red.
It was not usually for Hanamiya to initiate outings, especially considering his usual busy schedule with basketball activities. However, two days ago, to (Y/N)'s surprise, Hanamiya unexpectedly asked you to go on a date through text messages instead of face-to-face.
Hanamiya's invitation to go out at six o'clock in the afternoon, right after the club activity, struck (Y/N) as strange. Knowing Hanamiya's usual demeanour and that he wasn't one to make spontaneous requests, (Y/N) couldn't help but feel that there might be some underlying plan or surprise involved. This could be a good thing or a bad thing for (Y/N).
This unusual request raised suspicions for (Y/N), but being Hanamiya's boyfriend/girlfriend/romantic partner. (Y/N) chose to dismiss any concerns. As (Y/N) got ready in their bedroom, carefully selected what would you wear later once you two met. It was quite cold outside so it would be a bad idea to wear something short or you would freeze to death.
Having chosen the perfect attire, (Y/N) lays the long-sleeve turtleneck sweater and the pants down on the bed, and hangs the jacket neatly on a hook. With everything in place, (Y/N) heads to the bathroom to take a refreshing shower, she/they/he could not wait for the upcoming date. The sound of running water fills the air as (Y/N) readies themselves for the evening ahead.
‿︵‿︵\ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ/︵‿︵‿Timeskip
Standing outside the cinema, (Y/N) anxiously waits, scanning the surroundings for the distinctive figure of the guy with bushy eyebrows. Glancing at the time on their phone, a twinge of concern arises, fearing that Hanamiya might bail on you.
Suddenly, a familiar male voice calls out (Y/N)'s name from a distance. Looking up, they/she/he spots Hanamiya strutting towards them, hands casually tucked into his pockets. A mixture of relief and curiosity washes over (Y/N) after knowing Hanamiya won't bail on the date. "Oh, you came...I thought you were not going to come," Hanamiya mutters to himself. "Let's go inside, I already booked the ticket and the seat online, we can just buy the popcorn," Hanamiya steps inside.
It would typically be a sweet gesture for a boyfriend to have already booked the cinema seats online, sparing both partners the hassle of waiting in line. However, considering Hanamiya's unpredictable nature, (Y/N) can't help but purse her/his/their lips together, silently cursing under her/his/their breath. "Hanamiya-san, what movie ticket did you buy for us?" you asked him.
The certain Kirisaki Daiichi captain just responds with a smirk across his face. "You'll find out soon," the male taunted you. With a subtle yet possessive gesture, he wraps his arm around your shoulder, pulling you closer to the scanning area which is next to the cashier. The red light from the computer reads the barcode on Hanamiya's phone and the sound of the paper getting printed out could be heard from the printing machine.
As the printing machine churns out the ticket, Hanamiya snatches it, and (Y/N) takes a glimpse, only for their/her/his eyes to widen in surprise. Having heard from friends that it's one of the scariest movies, a mix of shock and fear washes over (Y/N). "I hope you're not that scared, (Y/N)~" Hanamiya stuck his tongue out as you glances up at him, his playful tone adding a hint of mischief to the unexpected choice of movie.
Aomine Daiki
Tumblr media
A big tease and loved to annoy the hell out of you, he also loved to make you embarrassed either when he was using pick-up lines on you or when he was touching you either casually or sexually.
Arcade dates! Going to show off when you two play basketball games together and brags to you that he has a higher score than you and the reason why he is the 'ace'.
But if you don't like Arcade, he would love to just bring you around those Japanese festivals and try some street foods (and If you two get older. He would bring you to those extreme places like bungee jumping since he has enough money to travel).
No shame at all, if you can cook or bake delicious food. He would shamelessly steal it from you and if you try to take it back. He would raise his hands up so you could not reach them at all while smiling like a devil.
Have you ever wondered how it feels like to raise a cat as big as a human? Well, he's the perfect answer. He just acts like a damn cat because sometimes he doesn't want to be cuddled and then he would be all over you, demanding to be cuddled.
He acts as if he is a chill boyfriend but nope. he is protective of you, and he would glare at anyone who dares to touch you and if anyone is being creepy? THEY ARE GOING TO END UP LIKE HAIZAKI GOT PUNCHED BUT WORSE.
Caring but doesn't know how to show it so he acts like a damn Tsundere. For instance, if you are sick from overworking. He would buy those horrible ramen from the convenience store and call you an idiot for getting sick.
Kind of a terrible boyfriend (for the first time) because he would say insensitive things. Especially if you two fight, not only he is moody but he would say hurtful stuff, give you the silent treatment, and be very easily angered.
But also can be a cute boyfriend, he will always be proud of you. Even if it was a small achievement, he would even brag about it to his teammate (and Wakamatsu gonna scream 'SHUT UP!')
Aomine stands in front of another basketball player, blocking the rival team from getting close to Touou's basketball ring. In a swift move, Aomine executes as his hands slap the ball against the ball from the player's hand before sprinting towards the opposing team's basketball hoop.
As the Ace of the Touou basketball team floats in the air, he launches the ball into the air, and the satisfying swish resonates through the court as it smoothly glides through the hoop. The blaring sounds of the alarm signal the victory for Touou School.
Amidst the cheers and applause from the spectators celebrating Touou's victory, the ace player's attention remains fixated on a particular individual with (H/C) hair and (E/C) eyes. Aomine's gaze scans the crowd, hoping to catch (Y/N)'s reaction to his impressive play.
As his eyes lock onto (Y/N)'s form, a genuine sense of happiness lights up Aomine's expression. A triumphant smirk graces his face, knowing that he has left (Y/N) in awe of his skills on the court, and their admiration is the most rewarding response he could hope for as (Y/N)'s eyes gleamed in the light, shouting his name. "AOMINE!!! YOU DID IT!!!" she clapped her hands and cupped her mouth with the hands facing outwards
‿︵‿︵\ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ/︵‿︵‿Timeskip
After the intense game, (Y/N) hurriedly makes their/her/his way down from the bench and waits eagerly in the hallway. As the door swings open, revealing Aomine in his uniform, having discarded the sweaty jersey, (Y/N)'s face lights up. Without hesitation, (Y/N) joyfully leaps into Aomine's arms, exclaiming, "I'm proud of you!!"
Aomine, caught off guard by the sudden embrace, can't help but return the sentiment with his arms wrapped around your waist before you can hit the floor and hold you in the air. "Woah there tiger, don't just go jumping on me," He held (Y/N) closer, his smirk deepened as he held you closer.
Aomine's teasing prompts a faint blush on (Y/N)'s cheeks, though they/she/he quickly rolls their/her/his eyes in response. With a touch of sass, (Y/N) retorts, "You wish," before smoothly getting down from his arms. Eager to shift the focus to celebrating the victory, (Y/N) enthusiastically suggests, "Let's go out somewhere to celebrate your victory." "Ehh, I don't really care about this stuff. Maybe we can go maji burger?"Aomine suggests, expressing his craving for a burger.
(Y/N) looks at him with a hint of unamusement. "Really? You want fast food?" you remark, raising an eyebrow. Aomine sighs, contemplating for a moment, before a smirk graces his face. "Alright, I know a place where we can eat some Okonomiyaki. How about that?" mentioning there's an okonomiyaki place near the gymnasium and it's quite popular.
"Sure, we can eat okonomiyaki together," you agree, a smile playing on your lips as Aomine takes one of your hands. Together, the two of you walk away, hand in hand, ready to go to celebrate his victory. Despite it was not a fancy place, it would still leave a memory of the two of you having a simple date.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
a/n: kinda selfship because ive been in a parasocial situationship with this mf for ten years and i might delete this later
THIS SON OF A BITCH SAYS TOBRUT UNIRONICALLY and i swear you gotta smack him on the face every day for it for REAL !!!
you cant tell me you looked at him and didnt think he wears axe and sprays it after practice so he smells kinda weird after lawl
the typical anak basket i know like hiphop so his playlist is def gonna be filled with rap songs and he would play like one or two songs on the class speaker
for how mesum this fucker is he is definitely still gonna defend momoi from anyone talking borderline harassing shit about her including his pornbrained friends like he would legit grab them by the collar and lift them up to his eye level
eats your leftovers all the time. or worse, he eats your whole lunch
if youre in one of those schools where your class overlooks the basketball court he probably tried to woo you by playing basketball with his shirt unbuttoned during lunch break
kise just goes along w it and kagami is actually competitive for no reason lol (aomine def thought he was competitive about you and not basketball and they probably almost got into a fight after)
this bitch cabut kelas all the time
or he would sleep in class no in between
but honestly like he doesnt really get out of class unless kise or kagami drags invites him to play basketball during break times
people definitely thought hes dating momoi esp his friends who think like shes his type and hes like ??? i know her too well to be liking her that way (me with my best friend)
anak basket are like the it boys (kind of) so he definitely has quite the number of girls liking him
safe to say not a lot of them continue liking them for a prolonged period of time after finding out how pornbrained he is (ill take him i can fix him)
tbh i think hes pretty much a jock w questionable perspective on women (but i can fix him) but thats because he only has like. what. one girl friend? hes just kurang jauh mainnya
What's Important - Daiki Aomine x Reader
a/n: The poll has spoken! And tbh the results genuinely surprised me. Since Aomine and Akashi tied, I’m gonna do them both! KEEP IN MIND THAT ALL CHARACTERS ARE AGED UP. Thank you. I hope you all enjoy!
summary: He shows up for something important to you that you thought he'd skip.
contains: sfw topics, a bit of personal space invasion, gentle above the neck touching, gender neutral terms for the reader.
wc: 1k+
Tumblr media
It wasn't a date or an anniversary, but you'd be lying if you said it didn't feel equally as important.
The thing that set you on the path for your particular set of career goals was a very specific internship. Ever since your third year of college began, you've focused all your energy and efforts towards trying to get said internship. And you had to learn the hard way that it was a high competition, low acceptance, and extremely difficult to qualify for type gig. Yet you made it.
You'd gotten the news earlier that morning as Daiki was getting ready to head out. In your excitement, you'd nearly burned your hand on the stove.
Thanks to your blatant level of enthusiasm, you ended up explaining the situation to your boyfriend before you could accidentally launch an egg at his face trying to silently contain yourself. And with some huffing and puffing, you both settled on plans to celebrate later in the evening.
At the time, you were too blinded by the pure, utter joy that overcame you that you'd forgotten. Now, as you sit on the couch with food spread across the coffee table along with a few other things, you remembered.
The thing is, Daiki isn't the most... timely person. Not to say he didn't treat you well, he did, he just has an issue with showing up to certain events on time, if at all.
The both of you met in your second year of high school. Things started as a tentative friendship, bordering on arch enemies, before it developed into something more around your third year. And over the years you learned a thing or two about his track record in terms of attendance. Namely, how he'd built a bad habit of skipping basketball practice or any other event he deemed unimportant.
As much as you'd like to say it was something you didn't have to worry about anymore, he still had a tendency to miss or skip out on plans the two of you have made. You'll never forget how one time, during the earlier parts of your budding relationship, he bailed on a date for something he refused to specify. That was also the first time you had your first major fight.
All that to say, as the seconds ticked by and it became a good half hour or so past the agreed upon meetup time, you realized this might just be one of those events he deemed unimportant.
You held out hope, but it was a brittle thing. After all, you knew that getting the internship had a bigger effect on you than it did him. Still... you waited a bit longer.
When it was creeping toward a full hour after what you planned for, you slowly stood up and shuffled forward to start putting the food away. It was when you reached for a large bowl of chips, fingertips barely grazing over the rim, that you heard the lock to the front door click before the telltale squeak of it opening.
"Hey, practice ran late so-" You stand there, arm stretched out in midair, staring like a deer caught in the headlights at your boyfriend who'd just stepped into the living room. A towel was slung loosely over the back of his neck and he'd been using one end to scrub at the back of his hair, but paused when his eyes met yours.
"Why do you look so surprised? It's just me." He asked, lowering the towel and raising a brow at your frozen figure.
"You're back," you answered, quite dumbly in fact.
"I live here. And we have the whole-" he gestured vaguely at everything you'd set up and had yet to put away, "Celebration thing for you internship thing."
"Yeah, but... you're actually gonna celebrate it with me." His brows furrowed, a frown creeping onto his face at the baffled way you said it.
"Why wouldn't I?"
"Oh, well, no, because I thought- I just-" it took you a second to kick your brain back into gear and unfreeze long enough to spit out a coherent sentence. "I didn't know if you really would. Not to be rude but... you don't have the best track record when it comes to going through with plans."
"What?" His expression soured for a moment, voice dipping low and biting. It lasted for all but a second as he clearly forced himself to relax.
Daiki stepped into the room, dumping his bag on a nearby chair before moving closer to you. His steps were heavy but they didn't thunder as he approached you. A faint smell of sweat drifted from him and you're suddenly reminded of how, despite his complex with the sport since high school, he continued to play and practice.
"I'm here, aren't I?" In a few strides he stood toe to toe with you, your neck aching from how far back you had to pull your head in order to look up at him. "No way I'd miss something you talked my ear off about all morning."
"That's because it means a lot to me."
"That's why I'm here."
There was a moment where the two of you stared at one another in silence. The deep blue of his eyes glinted under the lamplight, sharp enough to cut. His gaze was intense enough that you needed to fight the urge to take a step back. It felt like electricity snapping and dancing across your skin with the way it prickled under the full weight of his attention.
To help diffuse some of the charged energy in the room, you let a nervous chuckle slip out and poke playfully at his stomach. Though it clearly did nothing when it felt like poking straight concrete.
"I thought you'd say something like 'the only one who can tell me when to do things is me.'" You chuckled weakly at yourself,  pitching your voice a bit lower to mimic his voice. His eye twitched and it's all the warning you get before he moves.
His fingers reached out to glide along your jawline and settled gently on your cheek. Not a caress, but similar enough to it that your breath hitched at the touch. He bent down to be as level with you as his monstrous height allowed him to be.
There was no escaping the oceanic chasm in his eyes, swallowing in the sight of you and holding you firmly in place. A soft smirk played at his lips when he leaned in close, nose nearly brushing yours.
"The only thing that's more important to me than me, is you."
{Fin!} Thank you for reading ^o^/
you look at the shattered vase on the floor. it wasnt worth much, you had gotten it at some shitty garage sale a few years back. it looked cheap; between the obvious mass prodiced floral pattern and the chiped edges, it was a miracle a thing like that could coexist with the rest of the funiture in your house. Yet it did. Standing tall on the coffee table, like an oasis in the barron desert. The pink petals of the flower pattern, the tiny lines of green repersenting the stem - a contrast to the light grey furniture.
In all honesty it was fucking ugly.
"-AND I CANT EVEN COME BACK TO MY HOUSE-"
You slowly lifted your head.
oh yeah
"- THE BARE MINIMUM-"
The shouting pulled you away from the shattered vase, the reality of your situaiton coming back in. You could see the vein buldging out in Shintaros neck. His usually calm demanour - his dull eyes, perfect cheekbone, his thin lips - replaced by an expression that you had never seen before. You had seen him angry, you ahd fights, but what couple didn't? This was something new. Usually you would describe his eyes as forest green, the colour of the grass in a hidden meadow in the forest, but looking into his wide eyes, the colour green reminded you of the recycling bin in your driveway.
It was impossible to form a positive thought for him.
His hair was messy, ruffled from the milltionth time he ran his fingers through it - most likely in an attempt to fix his hair but his gesture has the opposite effect.
Everything he was doing was having the opposite effect. The screaming? It irritated you more than it sacred you. The argument? It made you calmer than you were previously before he came home. The vase? Well, the vase was a differnt story. You knew he didnt mean to hurt you in the way that he had with that. You knew him too well to give him enough credit for what he had done. He always hated that vase; since the moment it entered your house he would always try to place it in a spot where it was hidden. Tucked away in some corner as to not clash with the rest of the furniture.
Shintaro was a calculating man. He had to be. Weighing the risk-reward ratio of each step of his day. That's what made him good at his job, he knew his limits and when it was okay to push them; only doing so when he knew the risks associated with it were low. The vase? Sure it wasn't the closest thing for him to reach - he had to take a step or two forward to even be in the radius - but it was the cheapest. In a sea of trinkets that costed upwards of a months pay, the something dollar vase was nothing.
So obviously he would pick that.
"Fuck you,"
The words roll off your tongue before you can even process yourself conjuring the thought up. Why had you said that? Of all things, of all the clever insults, the petty jabs. You went with the bleakest one. The one that held no emotional value; and towards the person you - were suposed to - hold the more emotional value to.
Shintaro froze. As if a mask had slipped off, his face relaxed. His shoulders relaxing, eyes softening with a look of confusion.
That was all? Thats all he got after the shit show he had created. a measly grade school insult?
"I-" "Fuck you Shintaro,"
You look down at the shattered vase, its pieces dangerously close to your bare feet.
You could sense the anger rising up in him again, proably worse than before. What was he mad about that? Not having dinner? You had made his favourite- curry and rice. Was it not warm? It was still in the pot on low heat. Did you not serve it to him on a silver platter? He would always get his own meals. It was like he had been frantcially searching for a reason to be mad at you, or maybe had just made it up.
You turn around, head lifting as your body rotated away from him. You didn't even want to give him the respect to look him in the eyes, to see a sliver of pain.
"Im glad Kotas dead," you hiss out, your voice laced in every negative emotion that filled your body. "So he doesn't have to see how pathetic of a man you really are."
~
Staring at the blue text bubble on his phone screen, he reread the text as if he was missing some hidden message written between the lines. As if two words had the capability to convay something that they didn't repersent.
We're over.
His head hung low, looking at the screen between his hands. He knew this would be the outcome, though the imaged the text bubble with that message being grey rather than blue. But alas, the words had been said. He couldn't exactly say he was shocked. This was the outcome, the ending has been written in stoen before the story even began. Mei knew exactly the type of man he was, though not entirely, he figured she got a glimpse of a side of him that made her turn away. The side was sleeping with other women while with his wife, the side of him that would hook up in the parking lot after work before driving home to share a hot meal with his wife.
He, above all things, was a logical man. And this was a logical reaction. It was easier to be the home wrecker than the wrecked. But what if you were both? Do you lean more into one side or even the scales?
Putting his phone down, he made his way to the kitchen to get the broom and dust pan. He was a doctor, he knew the potential risks of having broken glass around. Besides the potenial cuts, the risk of infection or the glass getting lodged in far enough. Too great - in his head - to go to bed without cleaning it up.
He didn't know what to do anymore. It felt like anytime he could pull a conversation out of you is when you two were fighting. He hated it. He hated being angry, it was beneath him to show such neanderthalic behaviour. He hated how it was the only way he could get you to talk to him nowadays. He was a man of reason, often the voice of reason. And here he was, stooping down to the level of the drunken low-lives who would stumble in the ER. The addicts who would throw themselves on the ground, begging, pleading for a drop of morphine. Pathetic...
With the dust pan filled with the last prices of the shattered vase, he made his way to the kictchen garbage. As he put his foot on the pedle of the trash can, its lid lifting up and the dust pan tilting to drop the contents into it - his eyes caught on something. Lid still lifted, he looked at the small yellow dot on one of the pieces.
It was a bee.
A poorly drawn bee. Like it had been drawn ontop of the design.
His heart sank when he recoginised the shaky drawing. His mouth drying, his throat closing up. The scream he wanted to let out, lost somewhere in his throat.
He wondered if he had been a shirnk, would he have chosen differently. He himself had picked the object he thougth would have the least significance. But would that subjective sense of significance would be differnent if he had thought about it for more than a second?
Staring at the pianted bee, he wonderedi if he would have chosen such a reality if he had thought about it for more than a second.
Tumblr media
"you know, ahomine, this entire thing was your fault."
you aim for your words to be sharp, accusatory, and scathing, filled with the type of poison that conveys just how irritated you felt at the moment; they’re intended to withdraw some kind—any kind, actually, since it’s aomine you’re talking to—of guilt or acknowledgement from the boy, or at the very least a sign that yes, he was the one who deserved the blame, and every ounce of it too.
however your objective falls short, and there’s a thought that irritatingly lingers at the back of your unusually sluggish mind: that, really, you weren’t exactly free from fault either. but it isn’t like you want to admit that because even the boy next to you knows the extent of your obstinacy and pride.
it’s a shame, and it’s quite ironic too, that your words are ultimately what betray your integrity. the way they come out breathless, slightly slurred, and definitely nowhere near scathing says more than enough.
earlier, you might have drunk a bit more than you were supposed to.
but to be fair, it was kise's seventeenth birthday. knowing how passionate he became whenever the subject was about parties or having fun or legitimately just having the spotlight on himself, the celebration turned out to be rather wild, to say the least. though when you had all five—technically six—members of the miracle generation gathered in the same area, as well as some of their respective teammates, the pandemonium was likely the only thing you could even anticipate. besides the heavy stench of testosterone of course.
see, your original plan was to spend the night quietly spectating the crowd. you never really liked parties, and you never really liked all the chaos that it brought. what you did like, though, was watching that same chaos unfold before your eyes. you even prepared your childhood friend to be by your side when it all went down, with his fluffy baby blue hair and his innocent, perceptive gaze never straying too far from where number two sat contentedly, playing with a rubber ball.
"how long do you think it'll take before kagami and aomine get into a brawl?" you had mused, hiding your amused grin behind your hand as you watched the two basketball players get into an argument over what the next song would be.
all the while, you hoped that kuroko didn’t see the way your eyes dipped towards the area of skin that aomine’s shirt haphazardly left exposed.
luckily he didn’t seem to notice. either that or—this was more likely—he was kind enough not to comment.
"ten minutes." kuroko had stated bluntly, answering your question. as it turns out, he wasn't far off from the mark.
so, for the first half of the party, your plan worked. you sat by the corner, languidly drinking from your cup of apple juice while you chatted with kuroko about anything that came into your mind. everything was fine, things were going well on your part, and at some point, you even sang along to the cheesy pop music that the speakers blasted.
most of all, you managed to avoid aomine.
but to put it frankly, shit hit the fan the moment the clock hit eleven. a bit surprisingly, the instigator wasn’t aomine, or takao, or even the golden birthday boy himself. no, it was sweet, exuberant momoi.
looking back on it, maybe your surprise was unreasonable. this was the same girl who could make eerily accurate predictions simply based off the statistics she collected from the court, and with you being a basketball player yourself, you knew just how scheming momoi could be when she really wanted to. that, and the fact that she happened to be another one of your childhood friends.
yeah, you probably should have realized that she was plotting something.
yet the realization never dawned on you. not when she offered you three consecutive cups of sake and claimed that “it’s to help you loosen up!”, not when she managed to pull you away from kuroko, not when she proposed the stupidly cliche spin the bottle game, and definitely not when she forced aomine to sit directly across from where you were.
after watching a few hilarious and awkward rounds, it was only inevitable for you to be the one spinning the bottle, and it was only inevitable for the damned thing to land on the one boy you were hoping to skip. and no, not because you hated him, but precisely because you simply couldn’t. it was impossible to not like aomine, even with his laziness, arrogance, perversion, and occasional playboyish tendencies. the truth was that behind every flaw of his, there were just as many positives, whether it was his obstinate loyalty or his unwavering honesty or his genuine respect for those who earned it.
so no one could blame you for the way your breath caught in your throat when aomine held your gaze and when he eventually began to make his way over. “this okay with you?” he asked nonchalantly as if this was a light, casual matter, and as if he didn’t care at all. yet, there was a slight, barely noticeable tightness in his navy gaze. had you not known him for years now, you likely wouldn’t have picked up on that small detail.
but as small as it was, really, it was anything but. and with your heart beating just a bit faster, you knew exactly why.
you nodded your head wordlessly, your lips parting, your eyes meeting his, and your message being spoken and understood through that eye contact alone. aomine leaned in, and you closed your eyes.
his lips were chapped, and his hand felt rough and calloused against your skin, but you felt a trail of fire prickling through your body anyway. quicker than you would have liked to admit, you found yourself falling deeper. you hoped, for a brief, flickering moment, that aomine felt the same. maybe, within his mind, there were thoughts of you.
swirls of past memories, like when you two would play basketball together, sweat dripping down your faces, soaking the fabric of your clothes as you focused on not letting him score; fragments of the future, like what it would be like to attend college together; and wishes for the present moment, like maybe how he wanted you to be his, just as you've wanted him to be yours since the last year of junior high.
you pulled aomine in closer, fingers digging into his collar. the logical part of your mind shrieked, voice raising in volume the longer you pressed your body against his, but you shut the thoughts out.
very, very vaguely, it occurred to you that the alcohol made your heart beat faster, made your spirit burn recklessly in a way that you hadn't known before.
for better or for worse, aomine noticed too.
and the moment you regained all sense of control, you realized that you no longer felt the weight of his body, or the warmth of his lips. bright lights flooded your vision as you opened your eyes. aomine stood a foot or two away, his shirt a bit crumpled from where you had gripped the fabric.
there was a certain kind of look on his face, but the problem was that you were unable to decipher it. this was the first time you couldn't read him.
fear settled into your bones.
had you just ruined everything between the two of you? not just the chances of ever dating him, but your friendship as well? should you have kissed him in the first place? what kind of person did he think you were now?
what had you done wrong, and why did you ever even accept those drinks from satsuki?
suddenly the room was full of too many people, and there were too many sounds and the lights were starting to blind you and damn it you couldn't even hear yourself think. in the heat of panic, you found yourself running, murmuring mindless apologies to whoever you almost crashed into.
you didn't stop until you reached kise's balcony. it was small, barely enough for three people to fit in, but the fact that you were able to taste the crisp june night air was enough.
unfortunately, it turned out that you only had a few minutes to spend alone with your thoughts. before long, the sound of the glass door sliding open disrupted the silence. you closed your eyes, praying to whatever was above that it wasn't the one person you wanted to avoid.
"wow, you really don't want to talk to me, huh?" a gruff, low voice dryly remarked. well, shit.
your eyes flew open. "i—uh, aomine," you cleared your throat hastily, "what did i.. did i say that out loud?"
"sure did," he confirmed. you heard him walking towards you before you saw him slide into the narrow space on your left. cautiously, you snuck a glance; his expression seemed to be unbothered, but knowing what happened ten minutes ago, you wouldn't risk a bet on it.
his eyes met yours. "you've been acting off," he remarked.
you refrained from rolling your eyes, like it wasn't already clear enough. "yeah, well, the sake that satsuki gave me was.. um, expired." you lied, and quite messily too. "made my stomach feel weird."
"she made me check the expiration date before her mom bought it," aomine deadpanned, and for the umpteenth time that night you wished that the floor was kind enough to swallow you whole. "and your stomach seems fine to me."
"well you wouldn't know that," you shot back, somewhat angrily. "and why did—how did satsuki even get her mom to buy alcohol in the first place?"
"her mom was the one who suggested it," aomine shrugged. despite the twinge of surprise that you felt—you weren't exactly sure if an adult was allowed to buy alcohol for seventeen-year-olds—it was quickly washed away and forgotten, overshadowed by the look that the boy suddenly gave you.
"so, are we gonna keep dodging the topic or what?"
your shoulders sagged, your arms crossing over your chest instinctively. "what is there to talk about?" you muttered.
"look, between the two of us, you're definitely the smarter one," aomine stated bluntly. "so quit actin' like you don't know what happened back there, (name)."
a heavy sigh escaped from your lips, frustration welling up within your chest all over again. you found it quite difficult to even breathe at the moment. "i don't want to do this right now," you stated. "so please just leave and we can pretend like—"
"that's the problem right there," aomine interrupts, an unprecedented twinge of emotion filling his voice. it was anger and frustration akin to yours, yes, but there was something else—something that you could reluctantly guess stemmed from a place that he'd kept hidden until now. "you keep avoiding me like i'm the damn plague or something. i didn't even do anything wrong, and if you feel like i did, then i can't do anything about it because you're not telling me shit."
and that right there brings you to the present moment, the buildup to the storm that's about to wreak havoc and tear up the land.
"you know, ahomine, this entire thing was your fault." you hiss, every ounce of your feelings pouring out without abandon. it's messy, it's unorganized, and it's raw; maybe none of it even makes sense, or maybe all of it does. you don't bother trying to wrap your head around it because there's no use in doing so.
for once, you don't think, and you let your words spill out like water from a broken faucet.
"it's your fault because you made me feel this way about you, even though you're one of the laziest, rudest, and most obnoxious people i know, not to mention that you read those perverted magazines. but you're also one of the most loyal and genuine, and i know that you would never lie. not on the court, and not outside of it, either. and that just—a-all of it frustrates and confuses me because we're polar opposites. you say whatever's on your mind, and you don't care about what people think about it. i can't do that."
you take a moment to breathe, to slow down, and to collect your scrambled train of thought. "i think that's why i don't tell you things like this. i'm probably drunk right now, but i think you want someone who's as unafraid as you are, someone who takes charge of the situation instead of being in the background. the only time i can be bold is when i play basketball. because then it's just—"
"just you, the ball, and the person in front of you," aomine finishes. surprisingly, his tone is soft, even understanding, and you look up to meet his gaze. "i know how that feels."
"it's like nothing else matters when you're on the court," you whispers, and the boy next to you nods. "all of it is simple. it's nothing like having to deal with your emotions, and having to understand them."
"you're right about that," aomine agrees. there are a few, shocking beats of silence that ensue, both of you seeming to ponder on your individual thoughts. "but, you know, the way you kissed me back there said a lot."
your face flushes pink. "yeah, i know," you mumble, turning your head away as you rest your arms against the railing. there's an uncomfortable feeling that sinks into you, just being aware that aomine knows how you've felt about him for years. you don't remember ever feeling as exposed as you do now.
"you're a good kisser," he comments somewhat offhandedly. "makes me wonder how it'll feel like to do that again in the future."
you pause.
your mouth drops open. "huh?" you stammer embarrassingly. "you can't joke about this, aomine—"
"look at me," he interrupts, softly but firmly. with hesitation swirling within your mind, you raise your head to meet his sapphire eyes. there's no trace of humor, or scorn, or sarcasm anywhere on his face, however. in fact, the seriousness exuding from his expression feels undeniably out of character.
and yet he's never looked as breathtaking as he does now.
"i hate saying this, but i think satsuki really did succeed this time." seeing the confusion on your face, aomine explains, "i tried pretending like i didn't have feelings for you either, because like you said, it feels weird. i guess ignoring them was more convenient for me, too. but, satsuki being satsuki, i guess she got bored of us being idiots and pulled this entire thing together."
"she's an orchestrator," you mutter, astonished. "wait, so, this means that you like me too—i'm not hallucinating?"
"nope, your ears are working perfectly fine." he states. "i've liked you ever since you broke my ankles and put me on my ass back at teiko."
overcome with surprise and glee—none of this feels real, still—you can't help but snort. "weren't you pissed when i did that? i mean i remember kise drooling over me, and akashi-kun giving me a compliment, but you were definitely upset." fond memories flash within your mind as you remember the sheer embarrassment and anger on a thirteen-year-old aomine's face.
"and i was, believe me," the boy chuckles. "but that was the first time a girl played against me and won. usually, they would just crowd around me and ramble about how hot i was. it was an unexpected change, but it was nice. kind of turned me on, too."
the last part almost causes you to choke on your saliva.
"such a pervert," you accuse him, a tint of pink staining your cheeks. "i don't even wanna know the thoughts that filled your head."
"i was thinking about how great of a girlfriend you'd be," aomine grins, stepping towards you. he reaches out, his hand moving to fix the strands of hair that covered your face. "and how pretty you'd look wearing my jersey."
"we can talk about that later," you swallow, looking up at him through your lashes, the party long forgotten. "right now, all you have to think about is kissing me again."
"that's easy," he retorts, his strong arms circling around your waist protectively. aomine leans down, his eyes slowly sliding shut, and his distinctive scent—cedarwood, smoke, and a hint of sweat—washes over you as his lips slot against yours.
unlike before, the kiss isn't frenzied or desperate; still, it maintains an air of passion, which both of you can clearly feel. his hands are curious, wandering and tracing areas all over your clothed body, almost as if he's trying to imprint them into his memory. they finally rest comfortably on the small of your back, with your own hands perched on his broad shoulders.
sneakily, he bites your lip, prompting a small, sharp whimper. your mouth opens invitingly, and his tongue sneaks in, swirling around your own.
when you pull away a little while later, you find yourself panting. your chest heaves with every breath, and your knees start to feel weak. "and you say i'm the good kisser," you say breathlessly, reaching up to give him one more peck.
"well i wasn't lying, was i?" he raises his brows slightly, making you giggle. "i had to stop myself from going even further."
"nobody said you had to stop," you whisper under your breath, catching him by surprise.
"trust me, i didn't want to," aomine leans down again, his lips ghosting over the shell of your ear. "but we're both a little drunk right now."
his words bring you a renewed sense of clarity, or at least something resembling it. he's telling the truth, really; doing anything reckless under the influence of alcohol is quite far from being a good decision. "and i thought you were supposed to be a delinquent," you tease him harmlessly.
"even delinquents use their brain sometimes, (name)," he rolls his eyes. "besides, i'm starving right now. i wanna eat some of the onigiri that kagami made, even though he gets under my skin."
"he's a really good cook," you sigh in admiration, examining aomine's expression closely, "and he's handsome, too.."
he scowls. "watch it," the boy warns, "don't say anything you're going to regret later."
"sorry, daiki," you apologize with a grin. "it's just fun to tease you."
"whatever," aomine mutters. "tomorrow, i'll get my payback."
Hiya! Can I request Aomine watching his gfs basketball game and she goes for a rebound and got it but the other team reaches over her head grabbing the ball and slamming her to the ground? How would He react and stuff?
Hot Chocolate - Daiki Aomine
wc: 2.6k warnings: fluff, established relationship, protective Aomine Summary: you're doing your best to win your basketball game but one girl really seems to have it out for you.
Tumblr media
Daiki Aomine stood at the sidelines, his eyes fixed on the basketball court, where his girlfriend was showcasing her skills. It was an unspoken thing between the two of you where you would both watch all of each other's games (unless something really important came up).
The gymnasium hummed with the excitement of the game, the fervor of the players palpable in the air. It was the fourth quarter and the scores were pretty close but the other team was in the lead by 2 points.
You were relentless on the court, your determination evident in every move you made and Daiki could see it. Aomine watched you with a mix of pride and admiration, impressed by your agility and skill. He knew you were great at basketball, but you never failed to amaze him, there was just something about the way that you moved. Elegance.
You moved with grace, anticipation in your eyes as you chased after the rebound. The ball sailed through the air, and you sprang into action, leaping with impressive athleticism to grab the rebound. For a moment, it seemed like you had secured it, but in a split second, an opponent stretched over you, snatching the ball away.
The collision was sudden, jarring. A gasp rippled through the spectators as you hit the ground with a thud, your body skidding slightly from the impact. You grimaced at the impact, multiple parts of your body searing in pain. You looked up at the girl, thinking that maybe she would apologise, but she just looked down at you with a small smirk before jogging off.
Aomine's heart skipped a beat, his eyes widening in concern as he saw you sprawled on the floor. He clenched his fists, he was about to jump the sideline and go give the girl a piece of his mind but was stopped by Kise.
"Hey Aomine-chi, she'll be fine, she can take care of herself. Besides, you cant exactly go storm up to a girl and start yelling at her," Kise told his idol, hoping that he would understand.
Aomine scoffed, "i can if she pushed my girl to the ground," he snapped and went to go again but was stopped once more by Kise
"You know she wouldnt want you too," Kise said, and Aomine knew he was right, he was just so angry though. He watched, his gaze never leaving you, a mix of worry and anger simmering beneath the surface.
You lay there for a moment, wincing in pain, but determination burned in your eyes. You pushed yourself up, refusing to let the fall shake you. Aomine's heart swelled with pride at your resilience, the way you refused to let the setback break your spirit.
There was just something so hot about how determined you were.
Your eyes met from across the court, and in that silent exchange, Aomine conveyed his concern and support. His gaze was intense, a silent promise that he was there for you, that he believed in your strength and resilience.
That instantly made you feel ten times better.
With a nod, you signalled to your teammates that you were alright, ready to continue. Aomine felt a surge of admiration for you as you brushed off the fall and got back into the game. He knew you were a fighter, determined and unyielding.
The game resumed, and Aomine remained rooted at the sidelines, his eyes solely on you. He watched your movements, the way you sprinted, defended, and attacked, a small grin on his handsome face as he watched you.
As the clock ticked away and the game reached its peak, Aomine's pride for you swelled. He watched you shoot yet another 3 pointer, a wide grin crossing over your face as you did a small little dance, happy that you were now in the lead and in that moment, Aomine knew he would always be there, silently cheering you on, ready to offer his unwavering support whenever you needed it.
Aomine's heart raced as he continued to watch you on the court. Despite the fall from before, you moved with determination, your focus undeterred. He clenched his fists, feeling a mixture of worry and admiration for your resilience.
You were in your element, dribbling the ball down the court with finesse. Your movements were calculated, your eyes scanning the court for an opportunity. You darted past opponents, your agility a testament to your skill and dedication.
As you went for a layup, Aomine held his breath, his eyes fixated on your every move. The opponents closed in, attempting to block your shot, but you maneuvered with precision, your focus unwavering.
Almost there
The ball left your fingertips, soaring through the air toward the hoop. Aomine's heart leaped with anticipation, the suspense palpable. The ball hit the backboard, teetering on the rim for a split second before finally dropping through the net.
Thank god. This is what you loved... that feeling of getting the ball in the net, this is why you played the game.
The crowd erupted into cheers, but Aomine's attention remained solely on you. You flashed him a happy smile, a glint of satisfaction in your eyes as you hustled back on defence.
Aomine felt a surge of pride and excitement as he watched you play. The game continued at a feverish pace, each possession crucial. You dove for loose balls, defended fiercely, and orchestrated plays with finesse.
Minutes turned into seconds as the game drew to a close. The score was neck and neck, the tension in the gymnasium palpable. Aomine's heart pounded in rhythm with the seconds ticking away on the clock.
You were everywhere on the court, hustling and giving it your all. You made a crucial steal, sprinting down the court with determination. With a swift move, you drove to the basket, drawing a foul from your opponent as they hit you while trying to get the ball.
The referee's whistle blew, signaling free throws for you. Aomine's eyes widened in anticipation. This was a pivotal moment in the game, and he knew you had nerves of steel, but even he was getting slightly nervous, though he had full confidence in your abilities.
You stepped up to the free-throw line, the weight of the game resting on your shoulders. The gymnasium fell silent as you dribbled the ball, your focus unwavering. You took a deep breath, then released the shot with precision.
The ball sailed through the air, the sound of the swoosh filling the gymnasium. Aomine's heart soared with pride as the crowd erupted into cheers. You had sunk both shots, putting their team in the lead.
Aomine's eyes never left you, his heart bursting with admiration.
The game's intensity soared as the clock dwindled down to its final moments. Aomine's focus remained steadfast on you, who hustled back on defense, your determination unwavering despite the physical altercation earlier.
Suddenly, a scuffle erupted near the basket. A player from the opposing team, the same one who had collided with you earlier, made a reckless play, shoving you in an attempt to gain possession of the ball. You stumbled back, your footing faltering as you tried to regain balance.
Aomine's eyes blazed with fury at the sight. His fists clenched, and his muscles tensed with an anger he struggled to contain. The referee blew the whistle, calling a foul on the opposing player, but Aomine's focus remained on you, concern etched into every fiber of his being.
You staggered for a moment but steadied yourself, refusing to let the fall hinder you. Aomine's heart pounded with a mix of worry and rage, his protective instincts on high alert.
The opposing player's actions were reckless and unnecessary, and Aomine's blood boiled with anger. He knew you could handle yourself, but the thought of anyone laying a hand on you, especially on purpose, infuriated him beyond measure.
From the sidelines, Aomine's gaze burned with intensity. He locked eyes with you, silently conveying his concern and his unspoken promise to make sure the offender would face the consequences.
You caught his gaze. You nodded subtly, acknowledging his support, and then turned your focus back to the game.
Aomine's fists remained clenched, his gaze fixed on the court. The game continued, each possession escalating the tension. He watched as you sprinted up and down the court.
The final buzzer echoed through the gymnasium, signaling the end of the game. Your team emerged victorious, but Aomine's mind was clouded with a singular thought—the player who had roughed you up needed to be dealt with.
As the teams shook hands, Aomine's eyes bore into the player in question, a simmering anger beneath his controlled demeanor. He held back, letting you handle the situation, but his glare spoke volumes, a silent warning of the consequences should such reckless behavior repeat.
You approached him, a happy look in your eyes. "I'm okay, Daiki. Don't worry," she assured him, sensing his anger.
Aomine's expression softened slightly at your words, but the anger still simmered beneath the surface. "I know you are, but that was uncalled for," he replied in a firm tone, his protectiveness evident in his voice.
"Ill be back, gotta go talk to the coach," you place a quick kiss on his lips and then run back to your team
He kept a watchful eye on the player who had caused the collision, his jaw clenched, a silent promise lingering in his intense gaze. He wouldn't let anyone hurt you without facing the consequences, and that player was going to learn it the hard way.
Aomine kept a watchful eye on you, observing your interactions with your teammates and opponents. His protective instincts were still on high alert, his gaze occasionally flickering towards the player who had caused the collision.
As you made your way off the court, Aomine approached you, his concern evident in his eyes. "Are you really okay?" he asked, his voice filled with genuine worry.
You smiled, though there was a hint of fatigue in your eyes. "I'm fine, Daiki. It's nothing I can't handle," you reassured him, placing a hand on his arm. You knew his protectiveness was a sign of his care and concern for you.
"Thanks you two for coming," you gave Kise a small smile before wrapping your arm around Aomine's waist and pulling yourself against his side.
Aomine exhaled, trying to ease the tension coiling within him. He glanced once more at the player, who was surrounded by teammates and coaches. His expression hardened, his protectiveness still burning within him.
As the player conversed with their team, Aomine's gaze bore into them, a silent warning simmering in his intense stare. He remained at your side, his arm instinctively drawing you closer in a protective gesture.
You glanced up at Aomine, catching the fiery intensity in his eyes. Sensing his silent promise, you gently squeezed his hand, silently conveying your appreciation for his concern and protection.
Your teammate called out to you, "y/n! you gotta come back, we're doing the end formalities!'
"I'll be back in a sec. Gotta go say thank you for the game and stuff," you sigh, leaned in, pressing a quick, reassuring kiss on his lips before darting back toward your team.
Aomine watched you go, his eyes tracking your every move, ensuring you were safe even in the midst of the post-game interactions. His jaw clenched, a subtle sign of his unease with the situation.
You navigated through the crowd of players and officials, your mind focused on expressing gratitude for the game. Yet, you couldn't shake off the feeling of discomfort caused by the player's earlier actions.
Approaching the opposing team's area, you maintained a composed demeanor, nodding politely as you exchanged words of appreciation with the coach and some of the players. However, your gaze lingered on the player who had caused the collision, a mixture of emotions swirling within you.
You offered a polite yet cool thank-you to the player, masking the underlying tension you felt. Their response was casual, almost dismissive, which only added to the unease simmering in the back of your mind.
As you turned to walk away, a voice cut through the air, "Hey, y/n, wait up a sec."
You halted, glancing back to see the player approaching you. Your guard went up instinctively, but you maintained a composed exterior.
"I just wanted to say, sorry about the collision back there. It's part of the game, you know?" the player shrugged, their tone lacking genuine remorse.
Your jaw tightened, but you managed a tight-lipped smile, masking the flicker of frustration. "Yeah, it happens. No hard feelings," you replied diplomatically, not wanting to escalate the situation.
Turning on your heel, you swiftly made your way back to where Aomine stood, his eyes locked on you. You could sense his tension, his protective instincts flaring up in response to the encounter.
Aomine met you halfway, concern etched in his features. "Everything alright?" he asked, his voice filled with a mix of worry and restrained anger.
You nodded, trying to dispel the tension. "Just some post-game formalities. Let's get out of here," you suggested, taking his hand and leading the way, eager to put the unsettling encounter behind you.
Aomine followed, his protective instincts still on high alert as he kept a watchful eye on your surroundings. You moved closer to him, seeking comfort in his presence, grateful for his silent support. Together, you walked away, leaving the gymnasium behind and focusing on the comfort of each other's company.
As you walked away from the gymnasium, the weight of the unsettling encounter slowly faded, replaced by the comforting feeling of Aomine's hand in yours. His protective stance eased, but he maintained a watchful eye, ensuring your safety as you made your way out.
The cool evening air greeted you outside, a welcome contrast to the intensity of the game. Aomine glanced down at you, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips as he noticed you shivering slightly.
"Here," he said softly, slipping off his jacket and draping it over your shoulders, his touch warm against your skin.
You looked up at him, a faint blush dusting your cheeks at the gesture. "You'll be cold," you protested softly, though you couldn't deny the comfort of his jacket.
Aomine chuckled, the sound warm and reassuring. "I'll survive. Just take it," he insisted, adjusting the jacket around you with a gentle tug.
You relented, allowing the jacket to envelop you in its warmth, feeling a sense of coziness that had nothing to do with the fabric itself. The scent of his cologne lingered, a comforting reminder of his presence.
As you walked side by side, the quietude of the evening setting in, Aomine spoke up. "You handled that well back there. But if that chick steps out of line again, I won't hold back," he said, his voice carrying a protective undertone.
You glanced at him, touched by his protectiveness. "I know. But let's not dwell on that. I'd rather focus on having you here," you said, a soft smile playing on your lips.
Aomine's gaze softened, a fondness in his eyes. "Yeah, I'd rather focus on that too," he admitted, his tone warmer.
The two of you continued your stroll, the tension from earlier dissipating with each step.
As you reached a nearby park, the familiar sight of twinkling lights from the nearby cafe caught your eye. Aomine followed your gaze, a hint of mischief dancing in his eyes.
"Hot chocolate?" he suggested, a playful grin forming on his lips.
Your eyes lit up, a smile spreading across your face. "Yes, please!" you replied eagerly, the thought of warm drinks on a chilly evening appealing to both your senses and your heart.
Hand in hand, you made your way to the cozy cafe, the chilly evening forgotten in the warmth of each other's company. The promise of a comforting drink and shared moments ahead filled you both with a sense of contentment, strengthening the bond that was as warm and comforting as the hot chocolate awaiting you.
hi dira!! can i request fluff with aomine daiki please? c:
How much do you love me? - Aomine Daiki x Reader
Tumblr media
“Can I ask you a question?” The girl asks and you wonder why she looks so familiar.
“Sure,” you answer as you focus on making your drink.
“You’re dating Aomine-kun, right?” The suffix is unnecessary and you ready yourself for an equally unnecessary question to follow.
“Yeah, why?”
“How do you know he even likes you?”
“Excuse me?” You step to the side, your finished drink and a new bottle of beer for Daiki in your hands. She follows your steps, leans in as if you need to hear her any better.
“He’s always so… bored around you. I was just wondering if he even cares.”
“And you’re wondering why?”
She blinks, confused by your question.
You force yourself not to roll your eyes. “Look, I’m sure you’re really concerned for my well-being and all, but this is none of your business.”
“I was just trying to be nice!” She pouts, crossing her arms in front of her. “But if you want to throw yourself at someone who doesn’t care, be my guest.”
“Thank you, I will.” You leave her standing there and return to your friend group in what Takao once dubbed the “nerd corner”.
Despite the loud music, the people dancing and the amount of alcohol in almost everyone’s system, Akashi and Midorima are deeply focused on a Shogi Game. Kuroko, not far behind them, is mocking Midorima’s focused glare by pushing up imaginary glasses to Momoi’s amusement.
Kise and Takao have managed to keep a few girls by their side, no doubt telling stories about their games and - as far as you know Takao - exaggerating them a lot.
Murasakibara is asleep on the Couch, his massive body effectively keeping Himuro from getting up and joining Kise and Takao, but his miserable look is too enjoyable to help him.
Daiki, however, is in a heated conversation with Kagami and if you’ve understood the tidbits you’ve caught right, it’s still very much about shoes, a topic they can never agree on.
“Here,” you hand Daiki his bottle of beer, suddenly all too aware of your body and his and everyone around.
“Thanks,” he grabs the bottle and, in one swoop, pulls you in, resting his head on top of yours as he glares angrily at Kagami. “No, you don’t understand! It’s about the cushioning. No wonder your knees are shit with the shoes you’re wearing.”
You stay like this, his arms wound around you, his chest pressed against your back. You listen absentmindedly to their discussion, making faces at Himuro when he pleads with you for help. It’s only when you need to pee that you move again, pushing against Daiki’s hold.
“Where are you going?” He asks immediately, cutting off his own argument.
“Toilet.”
“You tired?” Daiki asks, deep blue eyes wandering up and down your body. “You’ve been quiet.”
“Didn’t have anything to contribute,” you lie, before shaking your head. “Just in my head, is all. You need another beer?”
“Nah,” he shakes his head. “That’s my last one. Wanna dip when you get back?”
That’s a little surprising. Daiki’s usually one of the last to leave a party, easily carrying you out when you’re already half-asleep.
But you’re not feeling this party anyway and since he’s offering.
“Yeah, sure.” You nod, turning toward the bathroom before you finally have mercy on Himuro.
“Kagami, you should help your brother.”
“What?” Kagami turns, clearly surprised at the sight. “When did that happen? Does anyone know how to wake that mountain up?”
“I think there’s some cake in the kitchen,” you call out as you leave, knowing full well that no matter how deep he’s sleeping, Murasakibara will always hear the word cake.
-
Daiki’s hand is warm around yours, swinging your joined hands back and forth as you walk. His thumb traces patterns across your knuckles but he’s quiet, save for the occasional nudge when he sees something he thinks you’d hate to miss - like the calico kitten on the corner or the jewelry display in the window.
Maybe he’s tired, you think. He’s had a rough week for sure, training every day - and collecting loads of kisses as his reward after - and at least one test he’d asked your help for.
You turn left toward the dorms which leaves you on the outside of the pavement, closer to the cars and Daiki pulls you in and around him in one swift motion. It almost feels like he’s dancing with you.
Now he’s on the outside again, grinning when you gape at him.
“You think I’m letting you walk on that side? No chance.”
And you should have known, because this happened before, but maybe you’ve been too much in your head tonight to think he’d do it again.
No, not maybe. You truly have been too much in your head.
“You know,” you start, the dorms coming into sight, “a girl asked a really dumb question today.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah. She said you always looked so bored and asked how I know you actually like me.”
Daiki’s head snaps over. His glare is impressive even in the dim light of the street lamps.
“She did not say that.”
“She did.”
“What a bitch.”
You snort. “Daiki.”
“What? She has to be. Does she want to break us up or what?”
“Don’t know, I left.”
“Good,” he pulls you in where you stand until your face is pressed into his chest and his arms tie him to you. “Not letting you go.”
“Are you turning sappy with me?”
He pinches the meat of your hips in retaliation but his touch is gentle, even more so when he presses a kiss to the side of your temple.
“‘m not good at saying it,” Daiki apologizes, his breath fogging over you, “but you know I love you, right?”
“Yeah,” you nod, touched by the affection pooling in his eyes. “I know. I love you too.”
“You better,” he huffs out, pulling you close again. “‘m not being vulnerable for just anyone.”
-
“You wanna come up?” You ask when you reach your dorm, his hand still firmly in yours.
“You could sleep at my place,” Daiki offers. “Bigger bed.”
“Yeah, but when did you last change your sheets?”
“Yesterday, actually,” he grins proudly. “I am on top of my cleaning duties.”
You narrow your eyes. “And the shower?”
“I made Kise clean it. It’s sparkling, I swear.”
You huff in disbelief. “That almost sounds like you were expecting me to come over… Fine, I’ll grab my things.”
“I’ll come up with you.”
It’s a miracle he doesn’t fall asleep on your bed as you pack your stuff, he’s always the first one to drift off but he seems to busy himself with counting your collection of trinkets, turning them around in his massive hands as he inspects them.
“Looking for inspiration?” You ask and he nods absentmindedly.
 “Our anniversary is coming up,” he huffs and you don’t comment on it, too stunned by his thoughtfulness to come up with words.
It takes you the whole walk over to his dorm, up the stairs and into his room to figure out what you want to say but then you’re in his arms, his lips on yours, your cold feet entangled with the warmth of him, and the words leave you like a sigh.
You’ll tell him tomorrow, you think as you drift off, how much you love him.
Aomine, Kise, and Murasakibara god they are just amazing but you know whats even more amazing about them when they refuse to admit they're a little spoon/sub its adorable and i love them so much omg
aomine, kise + murasakibara
tw; none
a/n; OH WOW YES </3 GREAT IDEA ANON + u didn't specify pronouns so i used gn, hope ur ok with that!
(+ i didn't want to include the sub part in this request, you can submit another one asking that if you want!)
Tumblr media
aomine
- oh my god this one is the most stubborn one
- he 100% tries to put up the "im an alpha male >:(" front
- *gags internally*
- he finds comfort in your hugs, and he's yet to find out about your cuddles
- anyways, this man loves naps way too much
- (probably stayed up all night beating his me-)
- invites you over one day thinking you guys could just chill
- so how did he get into this situation?
~
"y/n, why are you like this?"
aomine grumbled, face tucked into your chest. he had mentioned once, only once, and now he was on his bed forced into this too-comfortable position.
"mm, you mentioned wanting to take a nap, so that's what we're doing."
"arg, yeah, but why are you the one holding me?!"
"because i can."
aomine let out a frustrated grunt, attempting to push himself up. he was soon pulled back down when you hooked an arm around his neck, making him lose his balance.
"stop whining like a baby, you're making the bed cold!"
accepting his fate, he allowed you to wrap your arms around him. despite his constant whining, both of you knew deep down he wanted this.
he's a tsundere, but he's your tsundere.
kise
- this mf would be too energetic man
- he's so talkative you'd probably have to tape his mouth shut to have a full night of sleep
- well i headcanon as someone who had to be that manly person because of his fangirls
- (yeah ik he hates them but who doesn't like praise + attention?)
- and he wants to impress you and keep you happy
- so one day after he got hit particularly hard by kasamatsu
- he came crying to you, so you did the only thing that made sense
~
"come here kise, why are you just standing there? didn't you say you wanted to cuddle?"
he looked at your expression for any sign of trickery, yes he did want to cuddle you but were you sure you wanted to hold him?
"like that? don't you want me to- AAAH!"
tired of his rambling, you had promptly picked him up and thrown him on the bed, flopping next to him. before he could protest, you wrapped your arms around his waist and buried your face in his neck.
"shut up already, just relax alright? i don't know whats going on in that pretty brain of yours, but you can let it go for now."
oh yeah, he's definitely getting you flowers tomorrow.
~
murasakibara
- dude, the least concerned about what position he's in
- he just wants snacks and sweet candy
- unfortunately, that constant snacking finally caught up to him
- when his mom texted you if you would take your big baby of a boyfriend to get some cavities removed
- 😀⁉️
- you agreed nonetheless
- waiting outside of the room was a little stressful
- very funny when he finally came out, a sleepy giant of a man just allowing you to pull him along to the car
- when you got home you made him change the cotton pads in his mouth and rinse his mouth
- unbeknownst to you, you were about to deal with THE biggest baby in the world
~~
"but y/n-chin i want candy!"
"atsushi, no. the dentist said you could only eat solid food in 24 hours, which includes candy." you scolded, trying your hardest to push him back into your shared room. surprisingly, he was compliant when he was under anesthesia, allowing you to guide him to the large bed.
he sat on the edge while watching you with dazed eyes as you rushed around trying to get him prepared for bed.
"y/n-chin looks pretty."
that definitely threw you for a loop, choking on air as you fumbled with the clothes in your arms,
"uh, thank you you do too. now, lift your arms so i can change your clothes."
after you finished the tiring task, you flopped on the bed with a sigh ready to take a nap. you soon felt a hand grip your waist, and before you could look up murasakibara had already placed his head on your stomach and fell fast asleep.
--
"i did not do that."
"you totally did."
murasakibara narrowed his eyes at your form, reluctantly sipping on a smoothie you made him.
"i did not, you're making it up."
"then explain this."
you whipped out your phone, holding it up with a satisfied smirk. there on the screen was the purple-haired giant snuggled up on your midsection as you held him in your arms.
"why did you take pictures?"
"atsushi stop dodging the obvious and admit that you did do it."
"no."
"well i guess you arent getting any snacks from me-"
"im sorry."
"that's better."
❝𝐀𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐤𝐢 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐬❞
Tumblr media
𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: Aomine Daiki x f!reader
𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: Suggestive (It's Aomine, duh), fluff
𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬: I need more knb fics, pls. This is my first time writing for Knb, so I hope it's okay
Masterlist
Tumblr media
 It will take a lot for Aomine to get into a relationship after his last one, he’ll never admit it but he’s afraid of getting hurt. (Again)
 So consider yourself lucky my dear.
 Daiki is a person who loves something or someone quietly.
 He’ll never really say he loves you out loud unless you haven’t seen each other in a long time or if you/him are having a bad day.
 His love language is physical affection and quality time. He’ll always be touching you with an arm around your shoulders or holding your hand or his hand on your tit.
 Speaking of boobs, well all know he’s obsessed with them. He’ll constantly try and catch you changing, or put his head under your shirt while cuddling just to be near the girls, as he calls them.
 Daiki is also extremely protective over you. He wants to keep you safe all the time. He’s lazy af, but whenever you want to go out just to run and errand he’ll be on his feet ready to go. My man will deck someone for looking at you wrong even in the slightest way.
 He calls you Idiot, dummy, and moron if you do something stupid or dumb. He does it out of love cause he doesn’t want you to get hurt.
 Aomine only uses your first name if you two are having an argument, or having an important conversation. Other than that your are usually called Babe or Baby.
 Your nicknames for him are Bubby/Bubba, Dai, Baby, and Kiki to annoy him.
 You two go on arcade dates at least once a month. Or you two go and kick it at the hoops downtown. Aomine plays a lot of street ball and knows a lot of guys down there.
 If you don’t know how to play basketball, he’ll gladly teach you how.
 If you already know how, you play 1 v 1 all the time, Aomine always ends up winning. But he will help you improve your skills.
 Teases the crap out of you any chance he gets. Loves seeing your flustered face.
 Aomine is totally the type to whisper dirty things in your ear while out in public. Not to mention he will just randomly grope your chest or butt whenever he feels like it.
 He’s also the type to rest his arm on your head not matter your height. He will also mess up your hair and use your head as a joystick whenever you sit between his legs.
 Daiki is a pervert at heart, whenever you are wearing a skirt and come to see him while he sleeps on the rooftop he’ll sneak a peak underneath.
 I feel like he’s a boob and thigh guy all the way. He will happily die between your glorious thighs and tits.
 Randomly leaves bite marks anywhere he wants. Adores when you have hickeys on your neck, fills his ego to the brim watching people comment on the purple bruise on your neck.
 Fucking loves when your wear his extra jersey to his games. It’s the motivation he needs to get going. Will completely crush his opponents just to watch you cheer for him.
 Pouts when you don’t give him his morning kisses or if you get up during your 2hr cuddle sessions when he wakes up.
 I 100% believe he is half Hispanic. He definitely knows Spanish and will call you names like Puta or Pendeja.
 If his mom here’s him call you that just know he’s getting a tongue lashing and the chonclas getting thrown at his head.
 He gets his accuracy from his Mom.
 It takes awhile for his mom to like you, she doesn’t want anyone hurting her baby boy.
 After awhile, she’ll treat you as her own daughter, and even teach you Spanish.
 Bonus if you already know Spanish, that’s a +1 with his mom.
 His dad liked you instantly, you were a lot different then his old girlfriend and welcomed you with open arms.
 Daiki has his dad’s ego, it’s like looking at the same person anytime they compete with each other, which is almost always anything they do.
 Aomine will totally be at any of your games/meets if you play sports. Even if he is late, he’ll be there cheering you on.
 Get’s jealous easily, especially if you talk to Kagami. If looks could kill, Kagami would be dead.
 Will have you against the door of his room, or pinned to the bed whenever he gets jealous. He makes sure you know that you are his and only his.
 His room is a disaster, clothes, old school papers, blankets etc.
 He try’s to clean his room up a bit before you come over. It’s adorable, it usually doesn’t look to much different just the floor was clean cause he moved everything to the corner of his room and covered it with a blanket.
 Loves to get you small gifts. He saves up for months to get you a beautiful promise ring. And what made it even better, you got him a promise bracelet that he wears absolutely everywhere.
 He makes sure to take it off before a game or when does anything that could break it.
____________________________________________
Home. The only clear thought I could still form after this long, grueling day. However, I didn't need any other thought.
Today had been one of the worst days I've had in a long time. Probably the worst.
But luckily for me, I was finally able to draw a line under today. I just had to get out of this building. But I couldn't escape as quickly as I had hoped during my lunch break. To make matters worse, I had twisted my ankle due to an unfortunate encounter and could not take the stairs as usual. Instead, I was forced to ride the damn elevator...
The thing about me and elevators was that I was terrified if I even walked past one. But I had no memory of why I was afraid. It had always been that way and had never really bothered me. My fear hadn't affected me once in my entire life. There was always the possibility for me to move through the stairwell in every building. Only today I was forced to get into an elevator.
With shaky fingers, I pressed the button and crossed my arms in front of my chest as soon as it lit up. My heartbeat sped up with every passing second. Each breath was shorter than the previous one. I began to bob up and down. From my toes over the balls of my feet to my heels and back to my toes.
I had a new thought that filled my brain in a continuous loop. Why, why, why, why, why...
A moment that felt like a small eternity passed until the metal doors opened. Although my legs wanted to fail me and my muscles became more and more tense, I managed to enter this machine straight out of hell.
I kept my eyes down, clinging to the thought of home. I had longed for this all day. I wasn't far from it so I need to keep my compsure!
Nevertheless, my heart, my head and my body were flooded with panic. I only had to get through one minute in here and then I made it. Only sixty seconds and I was liberated from this day. But only if I didn't die the next minute because of heart failure or lack of oxygen!
Just before the doors closed, a hand slid into the gap and the doors pushed apart again. As soon as the elevator doors had fully reopened, a tall, muscular figure filled the metal frame. I didn't have to look up to know who I had in front of me. For a moment I pressed my lips together.
I could still see the school corridor by a five centimetre wide gap. In a second, this construction would start moving and I was never more scared.
But there was nothing to worry about, because thousands of people rode elevators every day. Nothing happened to them. Therefore, the probability was high that nothing would happen to me either. But my thoughts circled around all kinds of scenarios! One worse than the other.
Only the appearance and the aura that surrounded him revealed his identity. Daiki Aomine. The person who had broken my sister's heart. The person who gave Satsuki the feeling that he didn't care about their friendship. The person who had left me with the shards and tears. The man who had broken my heart without even suspecting anything about it.
The day Daiki had changed and no longer showed up for practice was the day everything had changed.
Just the memory, of the look in Satsuki's eyes, made my heart contract every single time. That's why I sat in the stands at every practice and studied, because on that gray day, Satsuki had asked for it while we stood in front of the Teiko school. I probably served as a distraction. My presence against Daiki's absence. It didn't bother me if I could ease her pain over her best friend's change, I would always do it for my sister.
For a second, I let my gaze slide to his face. It was just as always. This expression had become a habit in the last two years. Cold, arrogant and remarkably bored. A shame for such an attractive face and a formerly sunny souled person...
My panic caught up with me and suddenly Daiki was completely forgotten. I lowered my eyes and began to stare at the velvety floor again.
Why did the doors close so slowly?
Did it take just as long before?
Was this a sign that something was wrong with this elevator?
Shouldn't I rather get out and try to walk through the stairwell ignoring the pain?
Why on earth hadn't I walked down the stairs anyway?!
My right leg suddenly bounced up and down. With every panicking thought, the wobble became stronger. It became more and more violent until you could see the trembling in every part of my body.
My white hair slipped forward, covering my face. A few strands stuck to my sweaty cheeks.
I lost all control over my body and was willing to give it up voluntarily. I had difficulty suppressing my reaction to my major fear. So what was the smartest thing to do? Regain control and suppress my emotions or let my panic run wild?
Why didn't it move anymore?
I didn't come to a conclusion, because my streak of bad luck continued. With a violent jerk, the elevator stopped. I lost my balance and fell onto the ground. The pain in my ankle intensified and tears filled my eyes.
But the pain quickly faded into the background when the elevator didn't start moving again. The light bulb lost its luminosity and bathed the elevator in dim light. With that, my self-control threatened to disappear into thin air.
What had happened to the light?
Will we crash?
Was the elevator really defective?
How could I get out of here?
Why did I step foot into this stupid elevator?
"Are you okay?" Daiki's deep, bored voice penetrated through my constantly moving thoughts. I jerked my head back. His navy blue eyes were directed at me. They didn't let me out of their sight, not even for a second. My jaw muscles loosened for the blink of an eye. But unfortunately that was all.
My panic grew as I couldn't find a solution. Of course not, because there could be no solution if you didn't know or understand the problem. Still, my eyes moved incessantly, looking for what wasn't there.
After a heavy swallow, I nodded. "Everything is fine," I muttered to myself as I lowered my head again. I couldn't maintain the eye contact. It was too intense for me and in panic mode I hated keeping eye contact.
In addition, my pupils were looking for a solution to this problem in an uncoordinated way, with me reaching for the metal bar above me and pulling myself onto my healthy foot.
Suddenly, Daiki's fingers slid under my chin and gripped it gently. He then pushed it up and moved closer to me. I felt the heat of his body. He was standing close in front of me, that his rather athletic physique prevented me from continuing to look around. Now I was forced to look into Daiki's eyes, in which something had changed.
"You're not okay," he contradicted me. His thumb stroked my chin. "You're shaking."
"This might be a bad time to tell you that I am scared of elevators," I mumbled. Meanwhile, I put my still trembling hands on his chest and firmly pushed him away from me to free myself from him. As soon as I had distance from him, I began to walk up and down in the cramped space.
Pain shot from my ankle to my knee. It intensified my limp and made it visible. But that didn't stop me! I had to move in order to be able to control my panic attack somehow. So I limped from wall to wall. Nevertheless, it didn't do me any good. My heart was racing and I was still short of breath, which was worsened by my sprained ankle.
I couldn't believe that I had took an elevator despite my fear. Something I had avoided all my life! Then I got stuck in the elevator in which, to make matters worse, the light didn't work properly. To top it all off, Daiki Aomine was here with me - of all the people at To oh High School.
I had to get out of here! Right. Now.
I didn't know how to survive this situation. A persistent panic attack combined with shooting pain in my foot and there was no light at the end of the tunnel.
I kept my statement. Today was one of the worst days ever!
"God, here!" Daiki grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me to his side. I stumbled over to him, flinching. My foot hurt so badly.
"Just hold my hand. We are going to be fine," he sighed.
Without saying another word, Daiki slid his fingers between mine and interlaced them. It distracted me. But only for the fraction of a second...
"You don't know!" I snapped at the blue-haired man. Involuntarily, my free hand ran through my hair and the strands that had stuck to my face lined up again in place.
"This devilish machine doesn't move anymore and if there's another jolt now, then the probability of us dying is damn high. The school is fucking empty and no one knows that we are here. So how are we supposed to get out of here, Daiki? The elevator could crash at any moment! Or we could run out of air if we have to wait here for too long-"
All my worries fell silent. But that's not all! All thoughts fell silent. Everything fell silent. Every cell of my body had found a new focus and they too fell silent in order to be able to concentrate. To be able to concentrate on Daiki. He took my breath away as he mixed the air he breathed with mine.
How did I got here you asked? Out of the sudden, Daiki had let go of my hand, stood up in front of me and placed both hands on my waist. After a second, filled with an intensely blazing gaze by these navy blue eyes, he pulled me close to him and put his lips on mine.
But it was not a soft or gentle kiss. This kiss was like Daiki Aomine, the ace of the court. Passionate, intense, strong and above all mesmerizing...
There was only one small detail that didn't suit Daiki. The desperation he put into that kiss.
Without letting our lips part for even a second, Daiki pushed me further and further back. As soon as my back brushed against the side wall of the elevator, he broke away from me. I moved my face after his, hoping to feel him on my lips again, but his lips were no longer on mine.
Nevertheless, I could feel his longing, his hunger. This wasn't enough for him! And it wasn't for me either. He had awaken something in me that I saw burning in his eyes.
His lips were so close in front of mine. Close enough to seduce me and far enough away that I couldn't reach them. Suddenly he came closer and brushed my lips.
"Jump," Daiki murmured against my mouth. Being drunk on him, I followed the instruction and jumped, launching off one foot.
It took Daiki no effort to catch me. He put my legs around his waist and he again pressed himself against my lips and body.
My fingers had a minf of on their own, ruffled his hair and pulled it gently.
Daiki kissed me dizzy while he let out a soft moan. Despite the dizziness and the unfamiliar tingling on my skin, I didn't want Daiki to ever stop. That was my only wish. Especially when he kissed me just like this...
But today I really was out of luck and didn't get anything I asked for. Again Daiki broke away from me. Immediately I longed for him. Panting, he looked into my eyes. I returned his gaze, breathing just as heavily.
His eyes captivated me. There was something in them that I hadn't been allowed to see for the last two years. Love and his gaze was soft. The shadow of the Daiki I had loved. The Daiki I used to admire.
"I won't let anything happen to you, Akari. Not in this fucking elevator. Not anywhere. I swear," he murmured.
My hands slowly slid from the back of his head down to the back of his neck, where I interlaced my fingers.
"Why?" I wanted to know.
For years, he had hardly paid any attention to me. For him, basketball, his friends from the Generation of Miracles and Satsuki were the only important thing in his life. He had never seen me. Really seen me. Our last real conversation was an eternity ago and the reason for it was a school project. We didn't have a close relationship back then and we certainly didn't have one now.
I fell in love from afar and stayed there. Far away from him. For Satsuki and for myself.
"Because I have loved you since the moment you stumbled into my arms. The first time you entered that stupid gym at Teiko with Momoi. You were laughing so loud that every boy looked at you. But you didn't even notice it and your foot hit one of the boys' bags. You fell right into my arms and that's the moment you never left my head. Funny, enough, you filled just as a large space as basketball, which I never wanted to admit. I never wanted it to be true, so I ignored it until I just saw your panic-filled eyes and the only thing I wanted is to hold you in my arms. To keep you there so nobody could hurt you or take you away from me," Daiki gushed out.
At the same time, our eyes widened in disbelief. It was obvious by the look on his face that he hadn't intended to say anything about this. I on the other hand couldn't believe what he was saying.
"You hurt Satsuki...", it blurted out of me. "I can't love you. Not like this."
"You love me?", I echoed. Still stunned.
But I knew that Daiki wasn't lying or retracting words. He stood by every word that left his lips and always did.
"I do," he replied. He was so serious and I recognized today's Daiki again.
"I hurt Satsuki? You love me?" Daiki frowned. With a puzzled look on his face, his index finger ran along the contours of my face.
I lowered my gaze. I couldn't bear to look him in the eye. I missed the memory of him, before the Generation of Miracles were ruined by the coach at Teiko, and I missed the moment just a seconde ago far too much for that.
"Does it bother her so much that I don't come to practice?" he wanted to know. His thumb stroked my chin. I was tempted to melt away, but that wasn't the right moment.
"Yes. You hurt Satsuki. Deeply," I murmured.
Again, Daiki's fingers slid under my chin and pushed it up. Now I had to look into those endless dark blue eyes.
Those beautiful, stubborn, dark blue eyes...
"If you really believe that, then I can't help you," I scoffed.
"It's what came along with me missing practice, isn't it?", Daiki concluded. I nodded.
"You should talk to her, Daiki," I said.
"I will."
The tips of our noses brushed against each other for a split second. I hitched my breath.
"Could you do me a favour?" he asked and I was completely taken in by him again. It was like a curse...
"Sure," I assured him, but I wasn't really focused on his words. His proximity completely threw me off my game.
"Say my name again," Daiki whispered. His breath hit my lips and sent a shiver down my face directly to my spine. "It sounds so pretty coming from your beautiful lips."
As if to underline his words, he gently ran his thumb over my lower lip and pulled it down slightly.
A soft sigh escaped me. "Daiki..."
"That's all I wanted it to hear, baby."
Suddenly the elevator started moving again. In a panic, I pressed myself even closer to Daiki and hid my face in the crook of his neck. I had expected everything but that.
But Daiki didn't let himself be disturbed. "Everything is okay, baby. Nothing bad is going to happen. We are almost out of here. I'll protect you. And I promise you to fix everything. I want you to be mine..."
