Even before knowing about more of the...details of what his family has been doing, Will's been pretty firm in the belief that their family came first, no matter the cost. Whether that was because he'd been favored by his parents or why they had favored him was anybody's guess. Regardless, it means he's largely unbothered once he's filled in.

something v tragic about charoum and orin honestly. like at least when he forgets gorty, gorty's invested in re-establishing whatever they had, even if it's different and more hollow than it was before. charoum and orin have decades of history that was snuffed out overnight, that she snuffed out, that forces her to commit to a relationship where this entire baseline of love has been extinguished, meaning their mutual hate has been, also.

Saw a Tina Turner tribute tonight and when the emcee mentioned Ike, I was pleasantly surprised to hear several men throughout the audience shout “Boooooo!!!” That’s the kind of energy I like to see whenever Ike Turner is mentioned.
