Note
hello dear merchant!! thank you so much for getting me into burningcheese they make me so ill /pos
i can (somewhat) read french so i decided to reread beast yeast chapter 6 in the language for fun and i wanted to share some highlights ><
- Nutmeg Tiger calls Golden Cheese a "gift" for Burning Spice
- I know this is the literal translation of "little bird" but Burning Spice calling her "petite oiselle" sounds so cute 😭
- Golden Cheese outright says Burning Spice is "obsessed with (finding) her"
- Burning Spice telling Golden Cheese to "feed him with her anger" ???
You're welcome :P I'm down terminal because of this ship, the more people I can drag down with me, the better. Gonna convince the whole damn world to ship BurningCheese, you'll see. We'll get a canon wedding scene before the end of the century at the absolute latest
And uh. I checked out those scenes because uhhh I, too, can somewhat read French. Uhhhhhh I took French in high school and uhhhhhh believe it or not, English isn't my first language, it's a Latin-based language, so uhhhh I can read other "Latin" ones relatively well. And uh. Those scenes. Uhhhhh
Tumblr media
BurningCheese AU where Burning Spice is French instead of Indian and he calls Golden Cheese "petite oiselle" STAT
Tumblr media
"un cadeau"... A gift. She's a gift for him, huh? Is that how he sees it? How he sees her?
Tumblr media
"Je peux m'amuser avec elle" means "I can have fun with her". There's no "with her" in the English version. In this one, he's very clear that he wants fun with her specifically. It's the little things, man...
Tumblr media
I- "The earth is still fresh". DID THEY JUST CONFIRM THAT HE ACTUALLY IS SNIFFING HER OUT? I said in my ship evidence post that it almost seems like he's attuned to her scent/aura... I guess I was right?? He is unironically trying to smell her oh my God
Tumblr media
"Wonderful!" (Or "beautiful". Please, please just let me believe he's calling her beautiful, PLEASE) "Keep it up, let's dance!" Let's dance. Let's dance. Unironically spoken to her face. Of all the words of tongue and pen...
Tumblr media
"Feed me your rage" my guy- idk what to say to that even. Burning Spice Cookie, are you for real right now
Tumblr media
"Devant moi". "Before me". That's not there in the English one, either. This is the second time he makes specific reference to them and how he feels about her
I just. Absolute cinema, I knew those French freaks wouldn't let us down. @ Devsisters can they just kiss/get married/fuck already preferably onscreen please and thank you

Introduction
Hi all! This blog (written and moderated by @dottdraws) serves as the BTS/main interaction source for my Cookie Run Kingdom (CRK) AU and its stories. The main story, Crumbs Beneath the Crown, follows the POV of my OC, Sumac Sheep Cookie. Not only will the fanfic itself be posted here, Chapter by Chapter, but character bios will as well. Asks are also open to be answered, and fanart is always appreciated! ALL ART POSTED ON THIS BLOG BELONGS TO @dottdraws! Canon Characters belong to DevSisters, and story characters/editing and consulting credits are credited to the following: FandomFanatic robomoth OneSnazzy/SnazzyLazzly Brainflayer rae_dascada WitchyWashy/ChillCelticChaos bendyandinky
About Crumbs Beneath the Crown
From the FanFiction.net account for this story:
To survive existence, you must be able to protect yourself. To survive the everlasting tide of Change, you must remember yourself. This is the dilemma Sumac Sheep Cookie, queen of the fallen Sumac Sheep tribe, faces as she accepts a bargain for her life. Promises of power and status slowly erase her people's culture and memory, until fate brings her the chance to achieve both virtues.
This is an OC x Burning Spice Cookie fanfic with story elements that branch into a much bigger world and story AU. Several of my friends' OC's appear in this story. This story takes place around a year after the events of Chapter 6 of Beast Yeast. The Beasts are expanding and growing followings, and so far stopping them is off the table. This story does not follow GingerBrave and his comrades, but takes a look at the other side of things. No, the beasts are not the good guys. No, we will not be changing how they would normally act (at least not too much,) and things will run as close to canon as possible (given we have no further updates as of 2/7/2025) We will be posting on FanFiction.net and AO3 once my account is verified, and those links will be provided soon!

Chapter 6 of little jester: sides change
A bit of a warning!⚠️ some manipulation/hypnosis from shadow milk
Custard sat in his room he yawned he was tired already? He figured ‘screw it’ and crawled into bed.
Custard woke about seven hours later. The dream was peaceful for once. No nightmares. No waking up in cold sweat. Just peaceful. “Morning little jester!” Shadow milk greeted the young cookie as he entered the room.
“Hi Shadow Milk Cookie!” Custard greeted the cookie back. Shadow helped Custard get ready for the day. Shadow began to comb through the blonde strands of custard-y hair. Custard began to hum. But then he stopped once he realized the tune he was singing. The tune was to a song he and Pure Vanilla would sing together. The once happy feelings towards the song shifted to feelings of distain. The song was no longer comforting but now like a bad memory. Shadow Milk patted the boy’s head.
“What’s wrong?” He asked. Custard sighed. He didn’t know what to think about Pure Vanilla anymore. He felt some sort distain to him. But also the feeling of familar love. He didn’t know what to feel. Was he to be mad at him for not missing him? Was he just overreacting? Custard couldn’t tell anymore. He just mumbled out to shadow milk. “Hm?”
“I’m just confused…” he said.
“About what?” Shadow milk asked.
“About how I feel about… Pure vanilla…” He began, “I feel like I want to be mad at him but I miss him…what do I do?!” He started to freak out.
“Shh…it’s ok, breathe,” he took a breath. Shadow milk hugged him closely. Custard held onto Shadow Milk. Custard felt his back be rubbed. “I’ve seen you cry yourself to sleep many nights all because you haven’t heard from them. Look at me little jester,” Shadow Milk lifted Custard’s head to meet his eyes. Custard cookie failed to notice the glow in Shadow Milk’s eyes. “Why waste your energy on people who have caused you to cry yourself to sleep?”
Custard sighed. “Yeah.. I guess you’re right…” He said his eyes were now flat.
“You know I won’t do that to you, right?” Custard nodded. “That’s right!” Shadow Milk carried the boy out and sat him down for breakfast.
Pure Vanilla panicked was Custard ok? Why on Earthbread was he in beast-yeast?! “Pure Vanilla Cookie. Breathe, we will find him.” White Lily grabbed Vanilla’s shoulders.
“Do you think Shadow milk got him?”
“Isn’t he still mostly sealed though?” S voice piped up. Wizard cookie. Gingerbrave at his side. “How would he have Custard? And why? No offense to the kid obviously,”
“How? Even if he is mostly sealed he still has his magic as we know. And why? Maybe to get back at us…”
“So what!? We kicked his butt once! We can kick it enough again to get Custard back!” Gingerbrave said gripping the candy cane tightly.
“That’s more tricky, we have no idea where he’s hiding even then that could be risky. We barely managed the first time let alone if we tried a second time. Besides he could put us or Custard in danger.” Pure vanilla explained.
“What if he’s already putting Custard in danger?. We could at least go and get him not fight but a sneak mission.” Wizard said.
“I think a plan is needed..” strawberry added.
“Strawberry is right we need a plan.”

W-wow.......this year sure flew by for me......L-like a ride in Her Radiance's arms as she flies through the air.....
H-hard to believe that exactly a year ago, I was STILL working on MUOM.....I-I think I was in the process of writing chapter 3, if I remember correctly.....? So, I was a good ways in.....or so I thought.....I was unaware of just how much longer it'd take me to finish it.....
Gotta say, despite how draining the experience was in certain places (I still feel bad that writing it took so much of my excitement away from Eurovision this year, for example.....but also, the entire process of writing chapter 11, holy craaaap), writing and finishing MUOM was still by fair the best thing to happen to me this year. J-just.....the fact that I, of all people, ADHD extraordinaire, was actually able to maintain a schedule around, consistently work on without losing interest in, and complete, a 400,000+ word fic coasting on nothing but love for my F/O.....I-it sounds crazy.....b-but it actually happened.....A-a miracle most likely never to be repeated.....
A-and what made it even better was the constant praise from fellow simps who followed along with me. I-I really hate to come across as someone who only wants attention, cuz I'm not....I-I don't write for the purpose of becoming popular or anything, a-and I don't ever shove my work in everyone's faces....I-I'm just saying that I like when people on common ground to me stumble upon my content and let me know they found joy in it. I-I never fully understood all the posts I've seen over the years about how "Comments mean more to writers than likes" until I actually started writing myself, heheh.......S-so, I know I've thanked you enough, but.....If any of my anons or followers are reading this, thank you so much for sharing your love of Golden Cheese with me, and making my 2024 so much happier.....Th-thanks so much.....! >////////<
M-my interests in general, I'm really happy for. Thank you CRK for continuing to be my comfort game, for bringing back my beloved Error Busters for a time, and especially for Beast-Yeast episodes 5 and 6, a story I absolutely adored even when it hurt me. Thank you for listening to Golden Cheese's fans and feeding us well with so many great moments with her....
Th-thank you Viv and Spindlehorse for giving great Hellaverse content with more to come. Helluva Boss season 2 ended SO well with two of the best episodes of the whole show, and Hazbin Hotel finally being released after a four-year-long wait was not only satisfying, but watching it and sharing my blind reactions to it was some of the most joy I felt this year.
A-as for next year.....M-my resolution for 2024 was to finish MUOM. This year.....I-I think it's something less specific, and that's just....to keep up the momentum with my writing, and work on the oneshots I said I wanna write. I-I'm not gonna push myself to write them ALL as soon as possible, cuz I wanna pace myself, but.....a-at least a couple, I'm aiming for. Starting with the one that won the poll.
Admittedly, th-these past couple months, I-I've been.....worrying a bit, about the future of my content, and Golden Cheese's fanbase. I-if what I predicted last month is true, a-and we won't be getting new in-game content of her until 2026 (besides her COTY reward), th-then.....I-it really is up to fan content to keep interest in her alive until we see her again, and hopefully, people will stick around while I write more of her. A-anyone who doesn't wanna is free to go, but.....f-for as long as people wanna keep loving and talking to me about our radiant queen, I hope the food I provide is good enough. And my askbox is always open. ^////////^
Possibly not seeing my F/O again until 2026, no Hellaverse stuff for a long time outside of shorts, which might also mean not until 2026.....I-if I don't get these promised fics done, 2025 will be a nothingburger of a year for me (outside of, well, playing CRK like always)......so, I-I don't wanna be on hiatus for too long. I-I'll start writing again soon. In the next couple weeks. Definitely....
I-I'm rambling......sorry.....
H-here's hoping for 2025 to treat us all well, and....again, thank you!

Basic yet honest to god review of Beast-Yeast chapter 4 because I just finished it while on call with a friend
It was fun. Saw some people say it was mid so I was worried going into it but it wasn’t as bad as I was fearing. Sure, there were some things I was disappointed with and the pacing was wack at times but overall I had a good time. Plus I always love seeing miserable old men. 6/10

(SPOILERS FOR BEAST YEAST CHAPTER 6)
y’know i was seemingly half right given how burning spice in the flashback’s name is labeled as just “herald of change”, their names might’ve just been their titles before their descent into beasthood
bit of a theory/headcanon, what if the beasts had different names before their corruption? it's a common theme in cookie run whenever a cookie ascends or gets corrupted or whatever they have some sort of name change, like croissant -> timekeeper, frost -> frost queen, white pearl -> black pearl, octopus -> abyss monarch, white lily -> dark enchantress here's some of my ideas for what their names coulda been shadow milk cookie - blueberry milk cookie, kinda inspired by how he very clearly has ties to the blueberry yogurt academy w/ that design + he's very blue and the shapes of his jester hat thingies and the thing on the end of his staff are kinda blueberry shaped mystic flour cookie - maybe light flour cookie, clearly has a light motif going on in their design and it just has a nice ring to it eternal sugar cookie - this one's kinda tricky tbh, harmonic sugar cookie because of the harp? sweet sugar cookie because happiness? i dunno burning spice cookie - here's the guy who inspired this theory, since remember how when the beasts were accidentally mentioned on the anniversary site earlier they were labelled at red spice cookie? maybe that's why silent salt cookie - much like eternal sugar this one's trickier, but i think stalwart salt cookie has a nice ring to it, fits with the knight theming and stalwart's another word for loyal/reliable and that fits with being the light of solidarity

Exodus  chapter 12
1---Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
2---’This month shall be your beginning of months;  it shall be the first month of the year for you.
3---’Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying:  ‘On the tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb,  according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household.’
4---’And if the household is too small for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next to his house take it according to the number of the persons;  according to each mans’ need you shall make your count for the lamb.
5---’Your lambs shall be without blemish, a male of the firs year.  You may take it from the sheep or from the goats.              (Mal. 1:7 & 8--vs 8----And when you offer the blind as a sacrifice,     Is it not evil?     And when you offer the lame and the sick,      Is it not evil?     Offer it then to your governor!     Would he be pleased with you?’      Says the Lord of hosts.
6---’Now you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month.  Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight.        (Lev. 23:5----’On the fourteenth day of the first month at twilight is the Lord’s Passover.)
7---’And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it.
8---’Then they shall eat the flesh on that night;  roasted in the fire, with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.         (Deut. 16:7----And you shall roast and eat it in the place which the Lord your God chooses, and in the morning you shall turn and go to your tents.)                                                           Unleavened bread was to be eaten each year during the Passover in remembrance of the Israelite Exodus from Egypt in haste.  They didn’t have time to make it with yeast/leavening.  Because of having to make the bread with no leavening the seven days of Passover feasting eating unleavened bread was to remind them of the affliction they had in Egypt and because of their hasty departure they were to remember each time they ate the unleavened bread.              In the Bible leaven is almost always symbolic of sin.  Leaven goes through the whole lump of dough;  in like manner, sin spreads through the whole person, brings a body into bondage, and eventually kills that body.  We are told in the Bible that the wages of sin is death.
9---’Do not eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted in the fire------its head and its legs and its entrails.
10--’You shall let none of it remain until morning, and what remains of it until morning you shall burn with fire.
11--’And thus you shall eat it:  with a belt on your waist, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand.   So you shall eat it in haste.  It is the Lord’s Passover.
12--’For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the first born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast’;  and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment:   I AM the Lord.
13--’Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are.  And when I see the blood, I will pass over you;  and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.’
14--’So this day shall be to you a memorial:  and you shall keep it as a feast to the Lord throughout your generations.  You shall keep it as a feast by an everlasting ordinance.
15--’Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread.  On the first day you shall remove leaven from your houses.  For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that person shall be cut off from Israel.
16--’On the first day there shall be a holy convocation (meeting, assemblage, audience), and on the seve3nth day there shall be a holy convocation for you.  No manner of work shall be done on them;  but that which everyone must eat------that only may be prepared by you.
17--’So you shall observe the Feast of the Unleavened Bread, for on this same day I will have brought your armies out of the land of Egypt.  Therefore you shall observe this day throughout your generations as an everlasting ordinance.
18--’In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening you shall eat unleavened bread, until the twenty-first day of the month at evening.
19--’For seven days no leaven shall be found in your houses, since whoever eats what is leavened, that same person shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he is a stranger or a native of the land.
20--’You shall eat nothing leavened;  in all your dwellings you shall eat unleavened bread.’
21--Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them,  ‘Pick out and take lambs for yourselves according to your families, and kill the Passover lamb.
22--’And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin.  And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning.         (Heb. 11:28----By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of the blood, lest he who destroyed the first born should touch them.)
23--’For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians;  and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you.        (Rev. 9:4----They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.)   We are to worship God the Father.   To have the seal of God we are to Keep His Commandments, all ten of them!
24--’And you shall observe this thing as an ordinance for you and your sons forever.
25--’It will come to pass when you come to the land which the Lord will give you, just as He promised, that you shall keep this service.
26--’And it shall be, when your children say to you,  ‘What do you mean by this service?’
27--’that you shall say,  ‘It is the Passover sacrifice of the Lord, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians and delivered our households.’  So the people bowed their heads and worshipped.
28--Then the children of Israel went away and did so;  just as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.’
29--And it came to pass at midnight that the Lord struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of livestock.
30--So Pharaoh rose in the night, he, all his servants, and all the Egyptians;  and there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where there was not one dead.
31--Then he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said,  ‘Rise, go out from among my people, both you and the children of Israel.  And go, serve the Lord as you have said.
32--’Also take your flocks and your herds, as you have said, and be gone;  and bless me also.’
33--And the Egyptians urged the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste.  For they said,  ‘We shall all be dead.’
34--So the people took their dough before it was leavened, having their kneading bowls bound up in their clothes on their shoulders.
35--Now the children of Israel had done according to the word of Moses, and they had asked from the Egyptians articles of silver, articles of gold, and clothing.
36--And the Lord had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they granted them what they requested.  Thus they plundered the Egyptians.
37--Then the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth,  with six hundred thousand on foot, besides children.
38--A mixed multitude went up with them also, and flocks and herds------a great deal of livestock.
39--And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they had brought out of Egypt;  for it was not leavened, because they were driven out of Egypt and could not wait, nor had they prepared provisions for themselves.
40--Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was four hundred thirty years.
41--And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred thirty years on that very same day------it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt.
42--It is a night of solemn observance to the Lord for bringing them out of the land of Egypt.  This is that night of the Lord, a solemn observance for all the children of Israel throughout their generations.
43--And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,  ‘This is the ordinance of the Passover:   no foreigner shall eat it.
44--’But every man’s servant who is bought for money, when you have circumcised him, then he may eat of it.
45--’A sojourner and a hired servant shall not eat it.
46--’In one house it shall be eaten;  you shall not carry any of the flesh outside the house, nor shall you break one of it bones.                (John 19:36----For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled,   ‘Not one of His bones shall be broken.’)
47--’All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.
48--’And when a stranger dwells with you and wants to keep the Passover of the Lord, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it;  and he shall be as a native of the land.   For no uncircumcised person shall eat it.
49--’One law shall be for the native-born and for the stranger who dwells among you.
50--Thus all the children of Israel did;  as the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.
51--And it came to pass, on that very same day, that the Lord brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt according to their armies.
When the children of Israel left Egypt, they had to go in haste.  The Passover being kept today is in remembrance of God passing over the Hebrew homes that had been streaked with blood on their lintels and two door posts.  It was to show them, and us of His children, that He indeed does protect against the destroyer.  The Feast of Unleavened Bread is to commemorate the first month of the Hebrews new life and freedom from Egypt, their oppressors.  It also commemorates when they were ‘Let Go’ from Pharaoh.  Leavening puffs things up.  Sin puffs people up.   Unleavened stays the same, is succulent to the taste and has nothing to puff up;  in like manner we are to stay unleavened, to not have pride, be ‘puffed’ up with no sin.  The Feast of the Unleavened Bread lasted seven days beginning of the eve of the sixth when the first day of unleavened feast began.  These two celebrations came and has always come in the Springtime between April and May.  In Palestine the first harvest began at this time of year.  We today, those Christians who wish to really follow our Father’s laws are to observe the holy days.   These two being such, as well as keeping all of God’s Commandments.  If we do this as well as having mercy, love, caring, worship the Father, honor and integrity, we will truly become God’s chosen and have His Seal on our foreheads.
God Bless

Exodus 12
Another long chapter, and a strange ending for a number of reasons. The reading of בו - I have rigidly rendered as in it. It is like a refrain in the last several verses. There are 365 occurrences of this word and to date I have never rendered it with the preposition of. This says to me that these verses are a different style of speech. The normal way of phrasing of it or from it as a separate word would be ממנו (e.g. in verse 9).
These verses are exclusive and excluding. There is some tension between these and my own biases about exclusion and inclusion. They may well remain unresolved and possibly even unwritten. The set of verses are even self-contradictory. I won't forget them. We will see how initial impressions shape up against the rest of the canon in due course.
... Assuming I live long enough to finish this project - i.e., if the Most high can put up with me. Today the power went out, but fortunately (is there such a thing?) I had decided to barbecue and turning the spit by hand, the meal I prepared for a stranger, an outsider, was not impacted by the power outage. The רוח blew so hard that it blew a picture from its glass frame. It fell and marked the fir floor, and I had to stop and pick up the pieces. What other shoe will drop?
You will note the fearsome character of Yahweh in this passage. You can hear echoes of Easter services taken from this chapter. Notice the division of the chapter by the phrase in this selfsame day. As Herbert notes in his poem, Easter, there is but one and that one ever.
