can anyone give me any information about this piece? It's handmade, incredibly heavy and very fragile. We picked this up at a goodwill bins in Houston TX. My best guess is it's maybe Indian, but I have no idea what the culture or history behind this piece could be.

LAMPS: My note for now on all lamps is that they need the brightness turned down in game for them to look normal. I have an issue in Blender with the vertex paintbrush just not working, it paints/refuses to paint wherever it wants no matter what I try. It's something I'm always looking for the answer to, and any other creator who likes any of the lamps is welcome to add vertex paint to them. I would update the file and add a credit to said creator.  BEDS: Most beds are made with the cot as the base (or other very simple bed object), it's difficult to find something to "work" with the ACNH mesh. I haven't yet 100% hashed out how to make them *perfectly* functional in TS4, but the sims will sleep on top of them.

Leather jacket decorated with glass beads. Great Plains, Lakota peoples, 19th century 

Museum. This jacket features beaded pictographic motifs that likely detail biographical and historical narratives. For centuries, Plains Indian artist painted buffalo hides with family and community histories. The United States’ buffalo eradication program forced artists to adapt their paintings to paper, canvas, and muslin in what came to be known as ledger art. A female artist beaded this buckskin jacket with pictographic motifs, reinterpreting the art form back onto leather.

Exquisite 1960's Countess Alexandra Fully Beaded Diamond Evening Gown 

The epitome of glamour! Absolutely fabulous 1960's fully beaded ivory evening gown by highend New York designer Countess Alexandra. Featuring a diamond pattern beaded outer layer with ombre beaded straps and an attached beaded belt at the waist. Accented with dripping crystals on the bodice. The interior is double lined and made of silk. Zips up the back with original zipper. In overall excellent condition, clean and ready to wear. Perfect for a bride that wants something extra special and glamorous. 

A little information about the designer via The Vintage Fashion Guild: 

"Countess Alexander aka Jennie Minnasian, (b. 1914-) was born in Providence, RI.. She went to Paris at age 15, where she studied design and then apprenticed under Jean Patou.

She returned to America in 1939, due to the outbreak of WWII. She married her husband, Victor Alexander, in 1940. Reportedly, he was the son of a Turkish Pasha, a title equivalent to that of a European count, thus the name of the business, Countess Alexander.

She opened her business with one sewing machine in New York on the 4th floor of a non-elevator building on E. 47th St. It was difficult to persuade buyers to climb the stairs, but eventually, Countess Alexandra��s clothes were carried by more than 200 high-end specialty shops and department stores across the US, including Hattie Carnegie and Bergdorf Goodman.

By the late 1960s, Countess Alexander had 60 employees and turned out about 8,000 dresses a year. Prices for a Countess Alexander dress in 1969 ranged from $250 – $2000."

Crafted an outfit for AURORA's concert in Osaka tonight ✨️ Made the top out of a scarf, added an attachment to the earrings, made the beaded waistband, added paillettes to the neck scarf and tied those long elasics to my hands! It was so fun to make and dance into at the concert.

It was a magical experience, I so cannot wait to see her live again.
