Beach Rose July 28, 2024 Nahant Beach Nahant, Massachusetts
The rose hips of the beach rose, which is what you see in the pictures, are edible and can be made into jams and jellies or eaten raw. I had never tried one before. They taste sort of like a tomato, but firmer and a little sweeter.
