BDJ Box | Happiness Is Just A Box Away

Christmas has just ended and if you didn’t receive what you wanted or still want to get someone something why not try a beauty box from BDJ Box. Seriously when I received mine i was so happy, I absolutely love trying and receiving new products and i actually like the fact that you dont know what you’re getting until you open the box, it’s like a surprise present every month.

The products I received this month were:

My Amazing Blow Dry Secret Shampoo And Conditioner: I was actual pretty excited to try these because recently I’ve been getting my hair blow dried often for events and parties, I honestly have no time to do my own hair since lately I’ve been extremely busy and lets be honest, your hair never turns out as good as when they do it in the salon. I usually just use the shampoo and conditioner that the salon has, when i saw the package (15ml each sachet), I knew it would be plenty of product inside for me for one use but that’s because I have long hair, if you have short hair I’m sure you can get two uses out of each sachet. When my hair dresser started using the shampoo she said that she really liked the texture of the product and when she used the conditioner she said that she could tell that the product was a good brand. The package claims that it “Helps cut down blow dry time for faster stress free styling” usually it takes my hair dresser 30-45 minutes to wash my hair and blow dry it but I notice my hair was easier to comb through and blow dry and my hair was done in 20 minutes. I’d  definitely would love some more of these satchels to bring with me to the salon.

My Amazing Repair And Shine Secret Fortifying Serum: After my blow dry I usually have my hair dresser put a serum in my hair to put down my frizz, i usually use whatever they have in stock but this time I had her put this serum in my hair and I really liked that you only need a little bit to put down all your frizz, and its not sticky like some of the other serums I used. The 10ml satchel will last for a while since you only need a little each time.

My Amazing Leave In Secret Spray Conditioner:  Ever since I dyed my hair a couple of months ago my hair has been super dry and is way more difficult brushing  through it then it use to be. I really love this leave in conditioner because it really did make my hair soft and smooth and yes! my hair is so easy to comb through now and judging but the huge size of the bottle (354ml) I know I will have manageable hair for the next coupe of months. It comes in an easy to use, no mess spray bottle. If you have hard t manage hair, you need this  conditioner spray.

Lancome Sublime Rejuvenating Essence Foundation: I’m really picky about the type of foundation I use on my skin because I have really sensitive skin and tend to break out when trying a new product so I was a little bit apprehensive to try this but I’m glad I did. The color I received is ‘170 Ivory’ its a bit darker then the normal ivory I’m use to but it blends in my skin evenly. The texture is smooth and the consistency of the foundation is really light, I like that the coverage is build able for the days where my face isn’t cooperating with me. I’m excited to see how it changes my skin texture in the long run since its said to have anti-aging ingredients,Oh did I mention the cute gold packaging and the fact that the foundation comes in a glass bottle with a pump so using this foundation is super quick and easy.

Cover UP touch Up Wand: So since I dont have black hair and the color I received was black I decided now would be a good time to try to cover up my husbands growing collection of grey hair he’s getting on his head, The cover up is really quick and the color matched his naturally black hair, i honestly doubt i’ll be usng this again because my husband doesn’t care if he had grey hair so I think i’ll be giving it away to someone who doesn’t want to keep dying their black hair. The color is waterproof so it’s great for in between hair appointments.

Nyx Eyebrow Marker: I have naturally big bushy eyebrows so usually I only put clear mascara on my eyebrows to hold them in place but lately I’ve noticed my eyebrows a little uneven so this is a great time to try this eyebrow marker, the eyebrow marker is exactly that, a marker like pen for your eyebrow I got the color ‘deep’ which matched my dark brown eyebrows, the thin tip of the eyebrow marker makes drawing hair like eyebrows a breeze. Make sure to shake the eyebrow pen (with lid on) before using so you can get enough color on the tip. The marker is small enough to fit in any purse or make up bag. If you are a newbie to eyebrow markers this one is a perfect starter marker so you really can’t mess up.
