if he was only outed in PoA, and no one knew ab him until then, then what’s going on?????? HOW DOES ANYTHING ELSE MAKE SENSE????

why is he not getting jobs if he’s not out. why could he not have seen harry if he’s not out. why would the ministry have hypothetically withheld him from seeking guardianship etc etc like so many fics say.

if he’s on some werewolf registry, then how was he in hogwarts. did he fall through the cracks. did no one realise that wolfy mcwolf, from the registry, is also enrolled in and graduating from hogwarts, especially as INFAMOUS MARAUDERS WHO ARE KNOWN A DECADE AFTER THEY LEFT????? i thought it was only his lycanthropy that was to be hidden, not his entire existence bc then he wouldnt be friends w such high profile mfs 😭😭😭😭

and also!!! the first war!!!!!!!!! i know we talked ab this on my blog and a LOT of anons chimed in but i’m still running around in circles tryna figure out why everyone was suspicious of him in the first war. especially if he wasn’t working w werewolf packs (like some pointed out; apparently he only did this in the second war??? which makes sense bc he could do it only after he was OUTED) then wtf was he doing and why was he suddenly suspicious. in any case, it couldn’t have been linked to his lycanthropy right? ugh.

like. him as a teacher could only have worked if people didn’t know. but does that mean if the parents/public didn’t know? (which is what snape targeted)? or does it mean that the ministry didn’t either? bc if the ministry did, then how was he allowed. does dumbledore have THAT much power and if yes, then why is this the only wack decision he took? if the ministry didn’t know, then that means that remus was effective a fully human wizard for atleast 33 (?) years of his life. WHICH MAKES A LOT OF HIS ACTIONS AND ATTITUDES EVEN WORSE?????

Ok I legitimately made myself curious with my own post of Roman writing analogical fanfiction, so this is what we’re doing: if the sides were aware of the ships of themselves, what would they ship? (Ft too much analysis from yours truly)

Logan: I like imagining that every side in the moralogince trio ships the other duo that’s not them, so that would mean Logan would ship royality (which makes sense, he’d probably think “what dorks, they would be a nice couple”). I also think he is the only side who would ship Moceit just because he can see the progression and he thinks it’s sweet. I also see him shipping Dukexiety for literally no reason other than “spooky.” He also has this weird thing: “I don’t want to date Janus, but I would ship loceit”

Roman: Oh you know analogical is his otp. He shipped logicality (to go along with the moralogince thing) until Accepting Anxiety, and then he claimed his title as the number one analogical shipper. I can’t really see him shipping anything else, maybe dukeceit since they’re both “villains” in Roman’s eyes

Patton: Logince, he wants them to be married. Patton just… ships everyone with himself. I can kind of see him shipping loceit since both of them are more serious and smart, I also see him casually shipping analogical but nowhere near as much as Roman does. Basically uh, Patton likes Logan ships.

Virgil: I will never forget the livestream where Virgil wrote a Dukeceit fanfic. Virgil ships Dukeceit—it’s the only Janus ship he will ever tolerate. He also might ship Intrulogical just because Remus and Logan can kinda have mad scientist vibes but Virgil’s not really big on shipping Janus or Remus with anyone really, besides each other. (Also I think he ships logince but I have no reasoning to back this one up)

Janus: Hot take, Janus would die for royality. He loves royality as much as Roman loves analogical. He chills in his room, everyone thinks he’s plotting something evil, no. He stole Roman and Patton plushies and he’s making them kiss. He also kinda likes prinxiety because he thinks it’s fun how much they hate him, but his main ship is royality, he loves the cute besties to lovers thing and he will never ever admit it

Remus: … yeah you all saw this coming, he definitely ships roceit. His brother and his best friend, Remus definitely ships them just because they’re the ones he likes the most. Plus, the ✨drama✨. I also think he ships anxceit bc damn he wants his friends to kiss and make up.

“Remus.”

Remus jumped awake, suddenly aware of the rush of running water and a sting in his hands. His eyes still couldn’t seem to see what was going on though, everything was kind of a blur. Maybe his eye was acting up again? That would only explain half of the problem though, so probably not. Maybe he should try listening to whatever that guy talking to him was saying and he might be able to figure this thing out.

“What are you doing?” Roman asked in frustration. He’s probably said it a couple times now. Or not. He did get frustrated really easily.

Okay, so it was Roman who was talking to him. Remus focused on turning his head and focusing on his sash and gold clasps on his suit, trying to take in the little details. It was so much harder than he had expected, but finally he could see enough to lift his head and see Roman’s annoyed expression.

“Uh,” Remus turned back towards the running sink. He noticed how full it was and the little bubbles making the dishes disappear under the milky water. He lifted his hands and saw they were currently drowning in the water, holding onto a sponge and bowl. “Washing the dishes?”

“Why?”

“I… don’t know?”

Remus kept staring at the water. His hands were red and he could tell he was going to get a rash later from this. But instead of pulling his hands away, he kept washing the dishes. His head felt too bloated with thoughts he couldn’t even grab onto to question his choices at the moment.

He jumped as someone grabbed his arm and pulled it from the sink. His sleeves were dripping onto the tiles, having not pulled them up while he was cleaning. He was led away from the kitchen. He became more aware of what was happening as the dripping fell on the carpet and he finally noticed that it was Roman that had grabbed him.

“What are you doing?” Remus mumbled. His throat hurt.

Roman turned back to him, but Remus couldn’t get his mind working enough to figure out what look he was giving him. “Getting you a towel. You’re allergic to our dish soap, dude, why were you washing the dishes?”

“What?”

Roman gave him another look, but didn’t say anything. He pushed him down onto the couch and disappeared out of Remus’ view. Remus just sat there, his hands and sleeves slowly soaking through his knees. He stared down at them. His fingers ran up and down his arm, over the rough ridges of the fabric. He hated all the boning (heh) and corduroy on his suit sometimes, but he loved the uncomfortable chill that ran down his spine every time he touched them. It didn’t really do anything to him right now, but it was still fun.

“Alright, I’m back,” Remus lifted his head and momentarily stopped his hand as Roman sat next to him. His brother took his hands and started drying them off with an incredibly soft towel. Normally, it would itch with the rash growing on his hands, but it wasn’t that bad. “I don’t really know what I’m supposed to do when you have a reaction like this, but we’ll just get it off of you first and worry about the rest later.”

Remus didn’t say anything. Well, maybe he did because Roman was looking at him again, but he’s pretty sure he didn’t. If he did, he doesn’t remember. While drying his hands, Roman was also patting down and squeezing water out of Remus’ sleeves, pulling them up to reveal more rashes starting to form. One of them made a sound of disgust and Roman gently patted them dry too.

Remus wasn’t sure how long it took to do all of this. His mind felt all foggy and his tongue was bothering him. It felt too big for his mouth and he thought about just letting his jaw relax and let it hang out and dangle for a bit, but he didn’t feel like putting the effort in to do it. He was really tired.

He flinched.

Roman pulled the towel away. “What?”

“What?”

“Did I hurt you?”

“No?” Remus frowned. What was he talking about? “I’m just tired, I dunno.”

Roman stared at him for a long while, but Remus wasn’t really paying attention. His shoulders felt really heavy and he felt like all he could do was just stare at his hands. Everything was unfocused and blurry and he knew what that meant. Somewhere in his brain, he knew what was going on. He just didn’t feel like stopping it. He just needed something to fiddle with and stare at.

“Do you want to take a nap than?” Roman asked slowly. Remus wasn’t sure if it was because he didn’t know what to do or he just thought talking slowly would make him understand it better. Their conversation has been very confusing in the past few minutes so he couldn’t blame him.

Remus shrugged one of his shoulders. “Eh.”

Roman didn’t seem to know how to take that. They merely just sat there for a minute, both still. Remus took advantage of that and picked at the towel with his nail.

“Alright, let’s just lay down, I guess,” Roman tossed the towel on the coffee table and wrapped an arm around Remus. He didn’t notice until his head hit Roman’s shoulder that he had changed him out of his normal outfit. The Duke lazily looked down at himself to see that Roman had changed him into his Beast onesie. Probably because Remus didn’t own pajamas. Did he?

He dropped his head on his shoulder again and his hand came up to fiddle with Roman’s sash. It was really silky. Remus’ felt like that cheap lace you have for tutus. This definitely felt better to touch and play with. Especially with his sensitive hands.

“Is this better?” Roman gently pulled on the sleeve of Remus’ arm again and for a second he thought he was pulling him away, but he just pulled it down real quick to look at the rash before pulling it back up and patting it. Remus didn’t respond directly, but he did settle a bit closer. Roman moved his hand to squeeze his bicep.

“You’re okay, Rem."

just finished the best worst thing and can i just say. you’re an excellent writer?

but, and i really hope this doesn’t come off the wrong way, i was really hoping for jily (but especially lily) to not get that happy ending, for sirius to forgive them so easily (even if it was in character) or harry to extend that olive branch. is that mean? like,,it just felt like a series of deliberately cruel decisions on their part without any *real* consequences ykno? and sirius (and remus) just kept getting so hurt god it really hurt lol (especially when he just fkn broke down after lily said harry wasn’t his kid the audacity)

remus going off on them was so cathartic and i never wanted it to end, but i was secretly also hoping for a harry x jily showdown. i remember being super passionate at 16, how protective i was (and still am tbh) of my parents, always rearing to go if i thought someone even eyed them wrong. it would’ve been so cool if harry had gotten even an inkling of how sirius was being treated and decided to take offence to that ykno?

although, on the other hand, i guess it’s also a mark of what a good writer you are and how realistically you wrote the whole thing because it felt more in character for the adults (but especially remus and sirius) to keep harry away from all the ugliness that he shouldn’t be exposed to, how they didn’t want to irreparably ruin his image of his parents (bc that would go against everything sirius believes in)

(still would’ve been super cathartic to have harry use the same kind of verbal cruelty tho ‘you’re not my parents, you just gave birth to me in the middle of a war and then went and got yourself blown up. you should be thanking remus and dad on folded knees for everything they did for me. when they didn’t even have to’)

aaaanyway the story was so, so good (and i haven’t actively read wolfstar in ages because i just,,,don’t like remus honestly speaking but you actually made me root for him too and i’m just genuinely in awe at how this entire thing spawned from a random prompt just like that so yeah.) thank u for writing it!

okay, firstly--i am blushing so hard, this is all SO nice? any compliments on my writing just make me so 🥺 and i dont have words except for thank you.

Second, the rest of this is great and i will continue answering below the cut to avoid an extra long post because i can never shut up

1. absolutely not taken the wrong way

2. sirius, my beautiful baby is made of second chances especially for james. james could do something AWFUL and sirius would forgive him.

3. It wasnt expressly written, but between the lines (sirius not going to the potters, remus not going to the platform, lily not coming to #12, harry being more indifferent to lily just based on how remus/sirius interact with her vs. James). But also that harry never found out the details, and even though harry was protective (dropping Dad in front of them, "theyre not my parents", "we do X differently), he definitely took cues from sirius on how to handle the situation.

4. Sirius knew this. Remus knew this. Remus was furious 5ever and nothing was the same, Harry could see that and trustED remus could be mad for all of them. So harry didnt have to worry ❤

5. This fic had to end lol. And there was alot of mini convos i cut out as an author to keep story moving and harry DEF wasnt as kind all the time. He extended the olive branch because he has a heart big enough for the entire world. But like...hes keeping score too. And theres room to grow for both of them.

okay so i recently watched the metal family (the english dub) on youtube and i sent my friend a ton of information on it - my thoughts, my theories, etc, and then i thought of a sanders sides related universe for it 

technically some things differ, as in the part i wrote glam and chive (who ive assigned to logan and remus) eventually end up together, but whatever 

and, because im a whore for attention im going to post here exactly what i rambled about because i was spilling out thoughts that just made my heart beat faster. so basically, the metal family: sanders sides edition 

spoilers for the metal family. 

basically i was thinking of logan and remus basically as these two characters, with logan as glam/sebastian and remus as chive, and logans parents putting a lot of pressure on him as their only child, and his dad is suffering abuse to so he cant even stick up for logan, and when he does bad he has to put out his arm and roll his sleeve up and his moms hits it repeatedly, and in the show glam doesnt react until he showers bc thats when it stings (until a certain scene where glams dad slaps it so hard he fucking bleeds a lot and starts sobbing and its like part of when he snapped) but thats probably what he does, and obviously the butler also gets mad and snaps on him a lot too, but when he goes to that music exam and gets second place to remus (who he met briefly on the way to the music exam - youll understand this more if you end up watching the series), hes shocked, and as remus walks him home he explains what he did on the guitar, and gives him the bach vinyl and logan squints but takes it anyway, and when he announces he got second he gets scolded, they mock him for who he lost too, and the back vinyl is taken by his mother, hes scolded for thinking he could ever be on par (logan plays the violen btw - he entered the music exam with a violen and its what his mouther abuses him for when he plays wrong or doesnt answer right/right away to note related questions) with bach, and then hes hit with the ruler and sent back to his room, where he plays the bach vinyl thinking it will be bach but then its metal and it sort of awakens something in logan and he sort of snaps

when he runs into remus again remus offers to teach him, steals an amp and guitar from the observatory, and then when he goes home then this is where hes hit until his forearm is literally dripping with blood and hes sobbing, but sort of that unhinged sort of sobbing where hes like :) while sobbing and bleeding, and his mom is saying hes no longer allowed to take walks because he was late, went through the park, ran in a suit, etc, and how logan will be studying with her daily from now on, and through gritted teeth, a sob, and a smile, as he clutches his bloody wrist hes like "yes mother, ill study under you every day. every day. every day." and he and remus had luckily agreed already to meet by the dumpster at midnight, and thats what they start doing

remus teaches him how to play, and logan literally gets no fucking sleep and becomes more and more sleep deprived as hes taught more and more and it makes him more and more manic and unhinged, and he has periods where he fucking snaps and can play the bass super well because hes fueling his anger and his trauma into how aggressively he plays and is actually super good, and eventually he and remus get a gig with these two other bandmates 

and that happens to be the day that the way he hides his diary (where he gets out his murderous thoughts over his father, writes about lying to him, and writes down notes for music he wants to make) and his model of the city (which hed spent a lot of time on and cared about a lot and made out of every day things like lightbulbs and pencil shavers and had to keep hidden) were revealed and his mother found them, and she threw it into the trash where logan saw it crumbled as he walked home in the rain, and while his mother is aggressively shouting at him she says something along the lines of "who are you going to choose. your family, or some vagrants!?" and logan sort of snaps, goes wide eyed, and walks the other way, despite the fact its rianing and his mother demands him to come back, and then starst screaming about how if he ever comes back to the door hell never be allowed back inside, and thats where that episode ends

and basically i was thinking that logan leaves, and sort of walks around in his suit with his violen for a while, before he goes back to the alley where he hides his guitar that remus stole for him and his punk clothes, and he grabs them both and sort of mindlessly wanders until he ends up back in front of remuss trailer

when logan shows up remus doesnt realize until he opens the door of his trailer and prepares to leave and logans just standing there staring, utterly soaked, and he craves his neck up when remus walks out and remus is like "holy shit dude, you scared me. its not even midnight here. how long have you been here?" and logan doesnt answer, and hess not used to tocuhing people or being touched gently, but he sort of falls into remus, and collapses against him, and he starts sobbing because he just lost his family, and he left his dad all alone, but ehs finally free from the abuse, and hes so tired and so confused and hes never felt so unsure of his next move but remus just pulls him inside, brings his stuff inside, they step over his sleeping and drunk parent, and remus takes logan to his room (possibly the one he shares with roman ?) and basically just hugs logan as he sobs and cries and eventually passes out against him because hes literally so fucking sleep deprived, and remus takes liberty to change logan out of his sopping wet clothes, but then both of logans arms are covered in scars, some of them still scabbed, and remus is immediately concerned but he decides hell ask about it when logan wakes up, and basically ust goes out and shoplifts some food or steals from his parent to buy shit, and when logan wakes up hes given low quality food that he accepts gratefully, apologizes for showing up unceremoniously and being so informal, but remus just hesitantly wraps an arm around him, and logan accepts it, and remus says its fine while cuddling with him and then again hesitantly asks what happened

and logan sort of goes silent and doesnt talk about it, but clears his throat and asks if its okay he stays here, and theres already three people living in this trailer so he feels bad for asking, but remus just pulls him closer and is like "yeah man! of course you can stay!" because obviously hes not going to tell logan no after what he just pulled, so he lets logan stay, and remus and roman bicker for it a bit when logan uses their small ass bathroom to shower, and by the end remus has basically bribed roman into going along with it

and logan has to adjust to not being a wealthy - althought not spoiled - person anymore, and sometimes he reacts to things on instinct. he breaks something and remus comes up behind him and asks what happened and logan just sort of stares straight ahead, rolls up his sleeve, and sticks out his arm, and remus is like  logan?? and it takes logan a few seconds to snap out of it and he sort of gazes at remus, goes wide eyed, and then apologizes as he brings his arm back in and rolls down his sleeve, and he seems really awkward but also quite relieved, and remus has never hurt him before, but it was just sort of that reactive thing, and that happens to be the day where remus decides to ask what those scars are, and asks to finally treat them properly because he hears logans whimpers and hisses in the shower

he and roman have their fair share of scars from their own shitty drunk parent, so they know pretty damn well how to take care of them, and how to steal bandages and shit, so remus helps clean them out and up while logan sort of quietly tells remus all about his life, why the music exam was such a big deal, and how remus basically changed his life, and how hes still confused and doesnt know if he made the right decision, and remus doesnt respond until the end where he bandages up logans arms and then gently grabs his hand and tells logan that hes safe now, and that being surronded by people who only put you down and more so hurt you isnt good, and that he believes logan made the right decision because hes safe here with them (the twins make sure to keep him guarded from the drunk parent) and roman seconds that from his spot on the bed, and so logan tries to put his past behind him and instead focus on playing music with remus, and playing shows at bars and stuff where they slowly gain a larger and larger fan base, and they make more and more money from the awesome music they play, and eventually use that money to buy their own house

hello! just started reading beneath a big blue sky and i love it! its quickly becoming one of my new favs but, i can’t lie. one of the reasons its so great to me is bc its on a farm 🙊 i don’t know if you have an insta but you should definitely check out @farmlifeiceland! she is my fav account on insta and i’m always looking forward to her stories, i think you’ll really like her! she lives on a farm in iceland and i know icelandic sheep and farms are different from uk farms and sheep but i can’t help imagining her layout when i read your story lol she loves all her sheep so much and it really shows and i kinda imagine remus like her honestly. shes also gay and her and her girlfriend are so cute! AND its the start of lambing season so i don’t know if you started posting the story now on purpose or not lol but if you check out her story, today was literally the first day and she has a lot of pics of little lambs and their mamas!

cont: omg this is turning into @farmlifeiceland appreciation hrs but she also had a little pet lamb who was rejected by its mother named Lilli who died of health complications when he was a little older but thats how i imagine Snuffles 🥺 but black lol. she also really goes into a lot of traditions and history ab icelandic farming and its all really informative and shes the reason i know so much ab sheep farming although i’ve only ever been to a farm like once LOL. i don’t know if you wrote this fic bc you liked sheep farming or not but i still think shes a really fun account to follow 😅 ok end rant

Hi! Okay first of all I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to answer this - I’ve been working away this week and wanted to give this the attention it deserves because that girl is living my dream life! Iceland, lambs and lesbians are all very relevant to my interests!

It’s Sirius and Snuffles 🥺 also he definitely would walk around the yard like this with Snuffles tucked inside one of Remus’s jumpers that he’s borrowed. I’m just scrolling now and I gasped because this is actually Snuffles. Devastated that Lilli died though! To reassure everyone - Snuffles is going to be fine. That little sheep is going nowhere. He will thrive! He will find love in upcoming chapters!

Uh,,ok so like,,,,,,,I had this? Idea? And I just wanted to know what people thought of it before I actually wrote it, so uh. Yeah

(Sidenote, this is basically an outline/bulletfic? Like it's Mostly fleshed out in terms of concept but that doesn't mean it's a full Fic yknow? I plan on...hopefully, eventually...writing this Fully. I just wanted to get input on just how off base my characterization is and shit...hehe. Also my excuse for any weird writing is that I wrote this in the bath and I was trying to go Fast so my water wouldn't get cold. Anyways notes over bye)

Named 'Cleaved Apart, Cleaved Together': abt The Split and how the two were separated (physically AND emotionally) and then how they bond again after Remus is accepted and the boys like,,,,,,accept each other as Bros again

At first I was thinking No Fusion but also like,,,I really like the idea of them fusing again on accident when they're really super happy or in sync

So after a Lot of bonding-chilling in the Imagination, just fucking around with each other, and even talking thru shit together-they finally manage it.

They were just in the common room with all the other sides, maybe setting up for a movie night or something?

They came rushing down the stairs, talking frantically together about a new idea they had while pushing each other lightly with every silly tease and making jokes about old shenanigans that only they could really understand

(Patton and Janus could remember days before The Split, when the two were one.

Janus could still remember them shouting not to be seperated.

Patton still hated the fact that it was basically his decision to keep them apart.

Thank the Lord they were close again.)

The two finally stepped into their usual spot in front of the tv, chatting with each other and the others

Eventually, they ended up talking about some stuff they'd made together. Some plans they'd been making together. They finally told a joke at the same time that got them falling over each other laughing,

And then it happened.

There was a flash of light and then-and then-

It wasn't King. It wasn't Creativity, the original.

But it was them.

Patton and Janus only sat there, teary eyed with dropped jaws, and Virgil and Logan began questioning what the FUCK was up, how are two sides fusing-?

And Roman and Remus sat there, tearing up before laughing a moment. 

"Roman."

"Remus."

Two almost-different voices right after one another, happier than any of them had ever heard them.

"We need to talk about this separately though, hm?" Roman, with a laugh.

"Yeah."

Another flash and he was gone, replaced by the brothers again who shook their heads, in a bit of disarray.

"Was that ok?" They asked at the same time, staring at each other.

"We don't have to be him anymore...I mean, we're our own people now Remus."

"Yeah, but that was FUN!" Remus replied, throwing his arms around Roman.

Roman laughed. "Then maybe every now and then?"

And Remus just laughed back. "Why the Hell not!"

They finally turned at the sound of a sniffle.

Janus was crying, and Patton wasn't really much better. Logan and Virgil seemed bewildered, though Logan a little less so.

"Janus? Patton? I understand you remember original Creativity more vividly than we do, but I do not understand what elicited sadness. Are you alright?"

Janus gave a watery laugh, wiping away some tears. "God, I couldn't be better."

Remus and Roman stopped, their smiles finally dropping. Roman reached forward, arm just a few inches in front of Janus. "Did we...do something wrong?"

Janus smiled again and shook his head, tugging on Roman's arm. "Come here you dork."

Patton pulled Remus in along with them and they all ended up in a little cuddle pile, Logan and Virgil joining in too, on the outside, bc Bitch, We're Worried Too.

Remus looked up at them, just Confused. "Then what's up??"

Janus and Patton's smiles dimmed a bit, and Janus began with a sad smile; "It's...simply a long story."

"That long story short, though, uh…" Patton continued, rubbing a hand on his neck nervously. "Wellll...the Split was really scary…"

Janus chuckled. "Exactly. Imagine the friend you've known since you were born splitting into two all of a sudden with ear-ringing screams to match."

"And then, after that…"

"You...decided to split those sides of him...just because one wasn't as perfect as the other."

Patton looked down and held Remus a little tighter. "...that was...mostly my decision."

Janus gave him a Look that simply meant 'we've talked abt that Way too much dude' and moved on. "But either way...it was...well…"

"Neither of you remember it, but...you...didn't want to be split."

Janus smiled again, sweet as honey. "And even after all we did...you two still managed to stick together."

"And even if the person you make now wasn't who he used to be-and it shouldn't be, really-it was like…"

Virgil remembered plenty of days where Remus just seemed off, but couldn't explain what was wrong, and...no matter how little Virgil understood, he would sit with him and try to ward it off anyways.

Remus and Roman laughed, eyes teary, and locked hands between them all.

this is my fourth time drafting this post bc i keep thinking of different things i want to say/theorize abt the creativitwins and every time i get two sentences in im like “no this is stupid i have something better to say”

but, bc ive been going down the rabbit hole of the romulus and remus legend (bc it’s one of my favorite legends and im trying to find more foreshadowing into who orange could be), i found some interesting things:

romulus and remus, in some myths, were said to be the sons of the roman god of war, mars

the roman poet virgil wrote a lot abt the legend of romulus and remus! which feels like a fun easter egg

BUT THEN I FOUND THIS

and like........ listen im not saying that “mars” is going to be orange’s name bc 1) we dont even know who orange is and, imo, only orange being “anger” gives this theory any legs and 2) “virgil” feels like it’s going to be the odd-one-out of the dark side names and “mars” would kinda add to that, unless the dark side naming convention is “ends with an -S” instead of “ends with a -US”

but i’m just saying, it’s pretty interesting (and possibly not coincidental in terms of the series?) that virgil, romulus/roman, remus, and janus all have some connection to each other, so now i’m scoping out all these sites im looking at like “please give me the dark sanders sides lore”

(and, assuming that the final side is orange, which tbh 99% of signs point to that, i have looked at the meaning of the color orange and ive found stuff like: creativity, enthusiasm, fascination, aggression [if the orange is more red], deceit [if the orange is a darker shade], etc)

(so idk if im missing the big picture or just not looking up the right stuff or if ive just hit a deadend vis a vis the color theory akjsdjksdkj)

Thinking about Veronica Mars. About Veronica/Logan. Do they have a ship name?? But I love that show and i was THERE for them. They were kind of a surprise ship for me, in that when they got together I was like, wait, WHAT? Like I was totally caught off guard. But there first kiss is, like, sooo romantic to me haha. It’s my fave scene in the show. But Logan is suck a prick sometimes. And they break up like every five minutes. And every season Logan gets accused of murder which of course he ends up not being the murderer. And they get back together eventually and I’m like really? But deep down I am rooting for them lol. I really enjoyed the new season of Veronica Mars that came out last year, actually. The ending made me SO SAD THO.

I also used to watch Supergirl and I thought Kara and Mon-El were adorable. He was very Carswell Thorne-esque, RH, I *think* you would like him. I never watched past season 3(?) though, and he shoots off into space and I never caught up so a few months ago I actually googled what happens and [spoiler] he ends up marrying someone else in the future or something so I was like, ok I’m not investing any more time in this show lol. (Also I had to google Mon-El’s name just now bc i forgot which is a bad look BUT I WAS REALLY RIDE OR DIE FOR THEM FOR A WHILE lol). Also I loved Martian Manhunter in this show, he was my favorite character. But the CGI for him was awful, omg. He had practical makeup at first, they should have just stuck with that.

Speaking of Martian Manhunter, I also used to watch Young Justice and loved Miss Martian/Superboy. Am I basic??? lol oop. But I love basic love stories. Anyway, I thought they were super cute. In season 3 though they’re kind of on the rocks. I haven’t watched season 4. I also loved Artemis/Wally West, but of course that had to end tragically.

Also, let’s talk about Nightcrawler. Allow me to set the scene. Little Kat is 13 and just rediscovered the cartoon she saw a few times as a kid called X-Men: Evolution. And thus, a weird obsession with the German, blue demon boy began. I loved Kurt Wagner. In the cartoon he starts a relationship with Amanda Sefton and I thought they were a-dor-a-ble. She accepted him for who he was, and they had a really nice healthy relationship. A lot of ppl shipped him with Kitty too which i am honestly all for idec I JUST WANT THE BLUE BOI TO BE HAPPY.

Can we talk about A:TLA too??? Like, obviously Zutara, amiright? Power couple. Like, Kataang is.. fine, but its probably my least favorite part about the ending, haha. Also, consider: Tokka. Toph is bae and can get anyone she wants, and she clearly had kind of a crush on Sokka and I think they could have been awesome. It actually kills me that they never say who Lin and Suyin’s father is in LoK. I had a whole theory that it was that kid The Duke from Jet’s band based on like 2 scenes from the series. There’s a tumblr post I made about it somewhere in the ether lol.

I also just remembered Tahnorra (Tahno/Korra) from Legend of Korra. It’s hard for me to explain this one. It’s a weird combination of being hyperfixated on the first season of the show when it came out, and I think I stumbled upon some fic or something???? And I thought Tahno was hot or something??? And FUN FACT, he was voice by Rami Malek BEFORE HE WAS COOL. So like before Rami really got big I knew who he was. He also basically played the Avatar in Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2 and I thought that connection was hilarious. It was kind of a problematic crack pairing but there was one author in particular whom i follow to this day hoping she’ll update her Tahnorra fics…. *sigh*

Okay one last ship…. I used to be ride or die for Outlaw Queen in Once Upon a Time (aka Regina/Robin Hood). Like, before TLC, I had a personal tumblr renaissance for that ship alone. My only existing published fanfic is for that ship. Taylor Swift’s 1989 came out that year and I related every dang song to that ship. I loved Regina so much and I just wanted her to be happy. That show is a dumpster fire, though, and spat all over my hopes and dreams. *sigh*

This one seems too easy/obvious but Professor Snape? Like obviously there’s already a ton of discourse surrounding this but he was gross, mistreated his students for years, committed atrocities, couldn’t get over his high school crush, and we’re supposed to believe he’s a hero in the end and HARRY WOULD NAME HIS SON AFTER HIM….. uh no. “Always” is gross.

Ross from friends…. I literally can’t stand him. He’s so entitled and just the worst. He tries to act like he’s the nice, sensitive guy, but really he is so full of himself. Joey on the other hand is portrayed as a womanizer but is actually super sweet and I love him

Story You Were Nervous to Post: hmmm. probably Soft Q (the first of my 00Q series) because it was my first PWP and maybe my only fic, along with the rest of that series, in which the characters have undernegotiated BDSM sex and fucked-up relationship dynamics that would not be good in real life, but that are presented as erotic. so like, it’s an extended Problematic sexual fantasy rather than a fic in which characters identify what’s healthy and unhealthy about their sex lives. the only reader who had any issues just asked politely for me to make it clearer in the tags that Bond and Q’s relationship is pretty unhappy and that humiliation is a big part of their sex, which I did, so it has all been fine.

How Do You Choose Your Titles: with much wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Do You Outline: usually for multi-chapter fics I do. my most intense outline was for Uncreated Night, because it skips around in time so much, while I didn’t have any sort of outline for Subatomic till maybe chapter 6 of 10, and even then it just said things like “more sex.”

Complete: 54, which seems like a lot to me, but 10 or 11 are just ficlets crossposted from Tumblr and the majority are one-shots under 10k.

In-Progress: okay so Remus/Sirius/James/Lily have a foursome, which produces Harry, and then they all raise him together in a big queer family. no one dies except Peter, who betrays them but then sacrifices himself to save Harry. (this isn’t a spoiler bc the fic flashes forward 3 yrs after the foursome to where they all live together and Lily is considering being poly and dating Dorcas and Marlene and Remus stays home with Harry so he doesn’t have to worry about getting fired for being a werewolf and Sirius is figuring out what to do with his life and James still thinks he’s straight lol).

absolutely i hate her!!!!! this is a REALLY long post but she’s written so much and she’s been in the spotlight since her books got famous so like… there’s a lot to talk about i guess. anyway @ jk rowling get ready to be called out

first of all on this valid bitch of an i hate jk rowling post, the ilvermorny houses. it’s like…. Big cultural appropriation of native american ideas and stories, twisting them to fit her narrative for harry potter and completely disrespecting their history and origins. the history she creates for north american wizards is shit too, saying that native americans would “primitively” practice magic until europeans civilized them with wands (even tho…. it’s like really impressive to do magic without wands in her universe??? like sounds like the native americans were way ahead of europeans, but ofc she twists her own narrative to make the natives primitive). her whole history or north american wizardry also apparently just follows white wizards immigrating to north america and shit…… 

this video is……. a really good poem on the stereotypes and fetishization of cho chang and there’s no way i can reword what the speaker says bc she says it too good so,,, watch it

jk rowling is also really good at speaking out about racism when she wants to on twitter and yet all of her canonical poc characters in the books are background characters. i know hermione is black in the cursed child play, but that feels a bit like the dumbledore thing to me, like they never actually talk abotu it in the books? and if she wanted hermione to be black why didn’t she have any protests about emma watson being cast? if she wanted harry to be brown why didn’t she have any protests about daniel radcliffe being cast? i don’t know if she had any say in that, but i guess she had a say in insisting that the actors had to be british, so if she cared about making a main character poc, why did she not have any qualms about the cast, even in retrospect, even respectful ones like “i love daniel and emma to death but in retrospect i wrote them as characters of color”?

like she didn’t have to push dean and cho and the very small characters of color to the side but she did. she didn’t have to stereotype cho but she did. there are no poc in fbawtft, or there aren’t in the movie at least – and if she’s so happy about johnny depp and can speak out about that relentlessly, but she wanted there to be characters of color in fantastic beasts, why can’t she speak out about that? 

like the cultural appropriation is enough to see that she’s clearly a racist asshole who doesn’t care about the cultures of people who aren’t white, but it’s also clear to see in the background of her writing that she doesn’t care about research for shit if it’ll help to respect people of color in her stories, and she certainly doesn’t care to ensure that there are important characters of color for people to look up to when they read her books or watch the movies about them

she specifically said herself that werewolves are meant to represent diseases like AIDS, and characters like fenrir greyback are predatory werewolves who want tos pread around the AIDS-like disease, conforming to 1980s homophobic stereotypes against gay people for “wanting” to spread around AIDS like how can you in one breath say you want to bring light to diseases like AIDS and in the next make a character who literally models homophobic stereotypes with the same disease?? 

also, remus was supposed to be gay apparently, but he “changed and fell in love with tonks” like ok first of all bi people exist, second of all why would you write a straight person who’s supposed to basically have AIDS when that sounds a hell of a lot like “predatory gay man infects poor straight kid” like there’s SO MUCH wrong with that, and yeah you kind of have to dig into it a little bit to get there, but when you’re writing about risky topics and you literally admit to it, you need to be WELL-VERSED on what you’re writing about!! and to say you’re writing about AIDS is deeply mixed with gay history! and to say that the main character who is a werewolf was SUPPOSED to be gay and then pretend you’re NOT associating it with gay people is just… such cognitive dissonance, or maybe really ridiculous ignorance

also, dumbledore is dead. so even if he was good rep, and it was within the books, he’s fucking dead. another buried gay, fuckos! pile em up! 

and i’ve heard there’s a shit ton of queerbaiting between harry’s son and draco’s son in cursed child? which like…. may just be subtext, but there’s a huge section of the fandom who’s all about harry x draco (i have not good feelings about that ship personally but to say it’s not popular is to never have seen anything in the fandom), and she must know that? like she’s not oblivious is she? so why would she like…. put subject between their sons? ?? it feels like it’s a bone to “hey i never gave you harry x draco, so here are their sons, who i’m also never going to give you”

when talking about irredeemable characters like voldemort, she literally said that “whether it’s a personality disorder or illness” they’re not redeemable…. !!!?? here is a post on that subject with links to the sources of the interviews she said this in. 

i don’t know where to put this bc this could be any number of things but i just thought about this so i’ll put it here: the thing that’s created in fantastic beasts, where it’s like basically a personification of anguish from suppressing magic – that’s quite blatantly a reference to any number of minorities, like gay people suppressing their sexuality, trans people suppressing their gender, the mentally ill and disabled pushing themselves too hard or trying to ignore/hide it… and credence was vilified and killed and the protags weren’t even… really sad about it?? and the ministry of magic never really THOUGHT About that they just killed him….. and that’s okay…. that’s fine… they’re just going around killing a bunch of KIDS who are inconvenient to them and who basically symbolize a whole number of oppressed groups. cool, it’s fine

most fat characters in harry potter are shitty people. the dursleys, pettigrew, and umbridge – all characters we’re supposed to find deeply wrong, the ones we’re supposed to hate the most other than, like, voldemort. like…..? a lot of the other fat characters are all “matronly” like molly weasley or stubborn and “lazy” like cornelius fudge who allowed voldemort to rise to power. like what’s that supposed to say about what she thinks the extent of fat people is? stubborn, evil, or motherly? 

she actually has a character grow fatter and fatter based on how shitty she acts towards harry because of a magic mishap. she also usually describes the nice fat people as “plump” and “pleasant,” while she describes dudley as “so much like a pig” that he couldn’t even be turned furhter into a pig when it was attempted, or as a “killer whale,” or vernon dursley as “having no neck”

her fascination with abusers

generally yes when making my outline i tend to have a definitive end and beginning although i still do the stumbling in a figurative wilderness to get from point a to point b ahskdjdk

22. describe your writing process from scratch to finish.

okie so i normally will quickly write down the general theme of it so i don’t forget like the second i think there’s something worthwhile to write from there i write some sort of outline with major plot points when i’m ready to write the damn thing i’ll find some music the fit the vibes and i’ll start playing connect the dots a lot of the time i write dialogue first and then add the extras but i very much so do not go in order of the wip just wherever i feel interests me the most at that time once everything is connected i do a looksie over and then i’ll post it it’s a very spontaneous sort of writing style but it works for me so i will continue to write by vibes only 😎

and he hasn't laughed in front of virgil since Things Started Going Wrong

virgil honestly isn't sure when the last time he heard janus laugh (like really truly laugh) is

he's not even sure if janus DOES laugh anymore

remus knows that he does

he pretends he doesn't know that he's the only person janus trusts enough to laugh in front of anymore

(they both know that he knows this & both pretend it doesn't matter)

hmmmm let's say thomas patton and virgil

because thomas called them in and he and patton had been making jokes nonstop to try and break the Extremely Tense atmosphere

and at last one of thomas's jokes got to janus

and he laughed so hard he snorted

and then froze up

and virgil froze up too

bc it had been ages since he heard janus laugh like that

and it brought back memories of good times he's worked Hard to repress and pretend never happened

and they both looked at each other and both pretended they weren't thinking of the same thing

and janus felt suddenly awful inside because that's virgil who's seen him laugh a hundred thousand times

but it's not His virgil anymore

and he knows the Now virgil and him just Don't have that same level of trust

and he feels exposed and almost naked and doesn't like it

the Now virgil just saw a side of himself he didn't want to show

an unmasked side with no deception to hide behind and keep him safe

and he Doesn't Like It

and virgil Also felt suddenly awful inside

because that's how janus used to laugh when they were best friends

when it was them and remus against the entire world and nothing could ever tear them apart

when they promised each other they'd always be there

when they promised each other nothing would ever come between the three of them

and then virgil broke all those promises

and he knows he Needed the changes he brought to his life

he knows that his new friends have been good for his mental health and he's doing better

but he's been pretending like the hurt he caused and the hurt he felt on his journey to getting here didn't happen

and hearing janus laugh like that

reminds him that he gave up so much and wrecked even more to get here

and remember the hurt caused on all sides between him and janus and remus when he left

and that none of them are blameless and all of them are hurt and that didn't used to be true but now it is

and it feels too big to ever change no matter what part of him secretly wants his old family back

and the two of them stared at each other and both pretended not to know what the other was thinking (they knew exactly what)

and pretended not to feel as vulnerable and uncomfortable as they were (they could see it in each other's faces)

and then only a second or two later (it felt like an eternity) patton gasped with stars in his eyes and went

“kiddo!! that was the most adorable laugh i have ever heard!!!!!! where have you been hiding that??”

and janus and virgil both startled and looked at him like they forgot he was there (they did)

and virgil gives janus a death glare because Virgil Used To Be The One whose moments of softness patton marveled over

and now suddenly he's Not and he has to Share and he Doesn't Want To

and Janus meanwhile freezes up because Patton Wasn't Rejecting Him for his vulnerability and he didn't know how to handle it

and he recovered himself in an instant because that's what he always does (he is Deceit after all and acting is the name of the game)

and makes some smooth glib response that leaves patton and thomas both chuckling fondly

and virgil glaring even more

before the moment passed and the group moved on with helping thomas solve his dilemma

and that evening virgil lay awake in bed staring at the ceiling and wishing things were how they used to be

but also wishing they would stay the same as they are now

but also wishing everything was different

and he can't even decide what he wants he just knows he's Not Happy

and janus far away on the dark side (that he refused to move out of because remus is his family) also can't sleep for much the same reasons

so he gets up to make himself a warm hot chocolate (probably spiked with alcohol idk i don't drink) in the kitchen

and remus makes his way out a little while later bc he can Tell when janus is worked up and needs comfort

and they share their hot chocolates together while janus talks about anything and everything Except virgil and what happened that day

and then janus cries into remus's chest like he'll never be okay again

and holds onto him with all six arms

while remus holds him back with all two of his arms and a whole bunch of tentacles too because Gotta Hug The Snake

and remus doesn't tell him it will be okay because it would be a lie

but remus says “i know” and “im here” and “i love you” and “what if i put eyeballs in the light sides' milk cartons”

and he wipes the snot and tears off janus's face when he lifts it from remus's chest with a teary giggle

(and then eats the kleenex and laughs when janus wrinkles his nose and says “gross”)

and it is not okay and they are not okay and virgil is not okay

but remus holds janus on the couch until he falls asleep

and they lean on each other's shoulders at the breakfast they cook together the next day

and in the morning virgil cuddles up with his new family for a movie on the couch

and nobody is okay but everybody has someone to hold through the storm

Describe your character; How do you see your character in your own eyes and not based off the bio. How have you developed this character into your own?

SO A LOT HAS CHANGED SINCE THE LAST TIME I WROTE THIS LMFAO. How do I even describe Wally??? He honestly means so damn much to me for many reasons mostly because he’s the character i‘ve had the longest. I’ve had him for maybe 8 years??? and he’s truly come leaps and bounds from where he once was. Wally is the actual human form of sunshine. He just emits light and love wherever he goes. He has one of the biggest hearts around and sometimes that gets him in trouble. He sees the good in everyone (except maybe auto but you know auto’s a d i c k). Wally has really come into his own these past few years. He’s learned to love himself, like, genuinely love himself. That has always been wally’s biggest struggle. All his life he was told he was nothing and treated like absolute trash by the BNL gang and the axioms. when he first came to walt he was this stuttering insecure mess, basically austin. He was scared of his own shadow and afraid to be loved, even touched. Now that’s not the case at all. He’s genuinely happy. he’s very confident with himself. Now that i’ve played wally long enough i’ve gotten to explore more bits and pieces of him and he’s quite feminine and he’s not ashamed of it he embraces it. He doesn’t feel like he has to hide who he is anymore because he’s married to one of the most understanding, supportive and loving men ever. Wally is a fighter. He’s come so damn far and I am proud of my little bean. 

What’s your favorite thing about your character? what’s your least favorite?

There’s so many things about wally that I love, I love how carefree and spirited he is. I really love how fucking sassy he is. like my boy has SASS. But really my favorite thing about Wally is his ability to love just about anything and anyone. Which is one of his down falls as well, because he just sees the good even in the worst of people and Wally just wants to fix the broken. I would say that i don’t like how he still has a lack of faith in himself. He doesn’t hate himself as much as he used to but he doesn’t believe in his capabilities. also he’s a fucking tease like rip oliver spade. 

What are some of your favorite relationships your character has formed? (Friendships, relationships, yada ya)

omgomg I love wally and silvermist. she’s the little sister he’s always wanted (before he knew marjoire existed rip me!!) and they’re just so pure and cute. I also love his relationship with Aurora. They’re both hopeless romantics and becca i’m so sorry i’m trash with replying but like their friendship has to flourish even more because they’re very a like and wally adored her. his relationship with donicia is so sweet too like omg they rot my teeth.

Has your character changed you in any way? Or do you yourself in yourself in your character?

Wally’s changed me a lot. If anything. I’ve played many characters, and my biggest problem rping is that I can never connection with a character. I don’t see a story. There’s only one other character i’ve connected with the way I have with wally, but in all honesty Wally is the character I hold closet to my heart. Because I think there’s a bit of wally in all of us. We want to be loved and give love. We want to have hope in something that’s bigger than ourselves. That there’s this light at the end of the tunnel in whatever we’re searching for. We’re all just dreamers and I guess that’s the best way to sum up wally. He’s a dreamer and a believer. I give Wally a lot of praise, but it’s because he’s the thing i’m most proud of. He’s apart of me, and he’s as weird as it sounds, he’s help me grow as a person. Sometimes I wish I was more like Wally. I wish I could be happy about life and enjoy the little things and just love everything and everyone as much as he does. I’ve been told i’m sunshine before so I guess wally and I are a lot a like. So wally’s a big part of me and always has been. Like I said, wally’s just a good person. He’s the good in me I wish I had more of to be honest. or at least showed more of. 

Do you think your character has had a big impact on Walt? Is it a good impact or bad?

I think Wally’s had a good impact. In all honestly, I didn’t think people were going like wally, or like, not really pay attention him. Yet this fucker’s impacted a good chunk of people. I just, sometimes I cry about it that so many people like him and that he does effect so many characters. It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside that I finally did something right with a character and it only took years of roleplaying. aye.

Favorite thing your character has done and worst

FALLING IN LOVE WITH OLIVER MY GOD THAT’S THE BEST THING HES DONE. listen to me when I say wally STRUGGLED for years to come to terms with his sexuality. and when he finally fell in love with Oliver oh my god it was the most freeing experience ever for him and he found his best friend and soulmate. The worst thing he’s done?? lmfao the fucking coma. That story arch haunts me to this day. 

What is some progress you hope to have with your character in the future?

I want him to finally give acting a chance

What is one thing you would tell your character?

Honestly, i would tell him i’m proud of him and how far he’s come.

What has been YOUR favorite thing about walt?

My favorite thing about Walt is just how much it’s grown. When we started this roleplay, I was so afraid it was going to flop and people would be like 'oh it’s just another Disney school rp big woop’ but I was proven wrong because over the past views year. sure we’ve had or ups and downs. we’ve had drama that we DON’T speak of or speak of whomst but  walt’s grown into something that I never imagined it could be. we’ve all became a huge family and that’s just…it’s my favorite knowing that. So thank you guys. Walt wouldn’t be what it is without you.

I’ll be real sometimes I get stressed out about everything. i have a lot of characters to praise people on so please don’t freak if you’re not on here bc i’m gonna be biased as fuck as always (since it’s wally and he’s my fave bc again biased) and say Oliver. Ya’ll know how much I love oliver spade. I’ve been kaitlyn’s best friend and ship partner for years so i’ve grown an immense love for Oliver. There’s so many layers to him like I always say. He’s a shit head but he’s such a good person. he cares so much about his family and only wants the best for them. he puts others before himself and often forgets to do something for ollie for once. he’s such a hard worker and uhm ya’ll wally’s mans is hot as fuck. have you seen him lately??? like damn.
