i think when there's a meritocracy on theory and ideas, say, in academia, then the ideas become further and further removed from reality out of competition. there is only so much ppl can write about shit that makes sense until they have to verge into what doesn't. or it's so referential to other verbose, made-up nonsense that the average literate, even educated person cannot read it let alone understand it

i think when there's a meritocracy on finding a story that leads to the most views, say, as a digital journalist, then there will be a focus on fear-mongering, click-bait stories out of competition. ppl need a job, sure, so ppl are going to do it. i don't hate journalists. i don't think they get into it bc they want to report on car crashes. but what does it mean for the community to see so much bad news?

meritocratic, competitive, capitalist societies are not better societies. it actually scares me how powerful parts of society like mainstream media and academia are so individualistic in ideas, execution and authorship, because the result/product is so influential.

Kamen Rider Pokemon AU thoughts under the read more bc i love both of these things and i need to combine them in my head

W cast:

Shotaro: A Honchkrow, given to him when it was just a baby Murkrow by the Boss. Shoutaro’s Honchkrow enjoys puffing up its own feathers, but it seems a little melancholy sometimes, too. Seems like it misses the Boss’ old Honchkrow.

Philip: Philip’s Espeon is often curled in his lap while he’s researching, and it keeps protective watch over his body when Philip becomes Double with Shoutaro.

Akiko: Akiko’s Purugly is quite pampered, and she spends a lot of time brushing its soft fur to perfection. Her Purugly is a bit boastful because of this. When it sees Akiko get her slipper from her back, it will dash behind the legs of her target so they can’t run away from Akiko.

Terui: Terui’s Scizor seems just as cool and collected as he is, but its actually quite shy. It’s an extremely capable fighter, chasing down enemy dopant’s pokemon as relentlessly as its owner. 

OOO Cast:

Eiji: Eiji’s Goodra is incredibly friendly, and enjoys hugs! Eiji never seems to mind when it leaves slime all over his clothes (though certain prickly birds complain every time Goodra tries to hug them too). When Eiji struggles to control the purple medals, his Goodra becomes extremely distraught and fearful, to the point of rampaging alongside him.

Ankh: A Ho-oh! Obviously it had to be a firebird pokemon, and Ho-oh is described as having rainbow feathers, just like Ankh! It was weakened alongside Ankh, so to protect itself, it disguises itself as a Talonflame. (legendary pokemon can disguise themselves as normal pokemon because i say so)

Hina: Her Leavanny is always extremely helpful when she’s designing clothes. Its strong silk and sharp cutters make for an especially strong thread and clean fabric cut. It’s surprisingly strong for such a delicate looking pokemon, and won’t hesitate to fight back if it thinks Hina is being threatened.

Gotou: In his research and study of the medals, Kougami and his scientists managed to create a synthetic pokemon capable of changing its typing with a special device. only one of these creatures managed to survive past incubation, and was given to Gotou when he was promoted to lead a squadron. Gotou isn’t quite sure what to make of Type: Null, but sometimes it looks back at him with intelligent eyes from behind its mask, and Gotou wonders how much is being held back by its control mask.

Date: Despite its rough looks, Date’s Aggron is surprisingly friendly. Years of work in combat zones have left its metal hide a bit scuffed and worn, but Date tries to polish it up a bit when he can. It eats a lot too, and Date often has to pry cell medals out of its mouth after a battle before it eats too many. 

Satonaka: Satonaka will battle, too, if she’s paid enough to do it. Her Tsareena is just as aloof as she is, and an extremely capable fighter. Even Date’s Aggron will flinch away from it. But their battling prowess doesn’t come cheap, and Satonaka insists on extra pay if any of Tsareena’s leaves get scuffed in a fight.

Ex-Aid Cast:

Emu: A Lucario. I couldn’t decide between this or Blaziken (it reminds me of Mighty, a little bit!) But Lucario’s empathetic abilities are a good match for Emu i think. For some reason, it acts really strange around Parad... maybe it senses something about him that Emu doesnt?

Parad: A Porygon, of course! It wouldn’t have any trouble following it’s friend into digital spaces. Kuroto designs the special discs Porygon needs to evolve for Parad. 

Hiiro: A Gallade! There is nothing they cannot cut. Hiiro has a mega stone, but his own personal struggles prevent him and Gallade from mega evolution for much of the show.

Kiriya: Its GOTTA be a Cyclizar! C’mon, of course the bike man would have a bike pokemon. Kiriya’s Cyclizar is just as fun and upbeat as he is!

Taiga: Decidueye. It supports Snipe in combat with it’s sharpshooting quills. While it seems quite cool and aloof, it can often be seen fussing over Taiga when he’s in his office.

Nico: Nico’s Scrafty has as big of a temper as she does, and Emu is often an unfortunate target for it’s violent headbutts or kicks. It’s fiercely protective of Nico, and has a competitive streak from their esports days. Scrafty hates losing more than anything, so it often tries to start fights with Emu’s Lucario.

Poppy: A cute Sylveon! It’s good at helping patients calm down a little bit, and loves to dance with Poppy! Whon Poppy’s feeling a little down, her Sylveon will link it’s ribbons in her hands and try to cheer her up by instigating a dance.

Kuroto: A shiny Gengar. It’s leering smile and horrid laughter echo Kuroto’s. It becomes even more cruel and unnerving once they achieve mega evolution, relentlessly chasing Kiriya’s Cyclizar through the streets when it goes to find help.

Graphite: Graphite and his Charizard both enjoy testing themselves in combat. Graphite’s signature move burns just as hot as his Charizard’s flames! While capable of mega evolution, they prefer not to use it, only mega evolving when their opponent has proven themselves worthy.

Build Cast:

Sento: Isurugi says he found Metagross’ pokeball on Sento when he found him in the rain. It doesn’t seem to remember anything, either, so it navigates its new life with Sento one step at a time. An encounter with a Buneary earned Sento another companion, too! It’s often perched on Sento’s shoulder, and when they both get excited, both of Buneary’s ears stand on end.

Banjou: A Kommo-o! (its fighting and dragon type. it has to be a Kommo-o). They were legends in the ring, but after Banjou’s fall from grace, his Kommo-o refused to listen to him. It’s taken a while, but now that Banjou has found his reason to fight again, he and Kommo-o can finally fight together once more. When Banjou gets fired up, Kommo-o clangs its scales in reply.

Misora: A Spinda (because i think it kind of looks like that weird rabbit plush thing Misora has). Misora usually holds it in her arms, since it can be a little slow when it totters after her with its strange movements. After her collapse as a child, she found that a Shaymin followed her everywhere, too. It’s cute and unassuming, but sometimes the flowers on its back shake, like it’s reacting to some strange power...

Sawa: Sawa’s Chatot received training alongside her during their youth as Namba Children. It’s capable of advanced levels of speech pattern recognition, so Sawa will often leave it in unassuming places so her Chatot can eavesdrop and then repeat back to her everything it heard. 

Kazumin: Mudbray and Tauros are common pokemon for farmers, and Kazumin’s Mudsdale has been his reliable partner since childhood. Years of farm work have build it’s already strong stamina into something almost untouchable. It stands stong, shrugging off powerful attacks like they’re nothing, and one stomp from Mudsdale’s hooves is enough to down almost any opponent. 

Gentoku: Krookodile looks a bit intimidating, until you realize it can be just as silly as Gentoku can be. It shared his horrendous amazing fashion sense. Gentoku has sunglasses that match the dark markings around Krookodile’s eyes.

Evolt: Isurugi’s Dachsbun used to be at his side every second of the day, but for some reason it began to shy away from him. Now it snarls at him from time to time, and spends every moment with Misora instead. 

After everything is revealed, a strange and unsettling pokemon started to accompany Evolt. Deoxys looms behind him, standing almost perfectly still, and it’s ever-shifting forms make it a tough opponent in combat.

💐BOUQUET - create a bouquet for them! what do those flowers mean? are any of the flowers their particular favorite?

OOOOO It's fitting cuz Fu does favor to wear a specific flower most of the time which is a chinese sacred lily. However I have almost 0 flower knowledge ^^' but I imagine a nice dainty bouquet would be Fu's style with a few flowers that bring on new change, luck, and health for her.

🕷️ SPIDER - what is their biggest fear? do they have any irrational / mundane fears? Biggest Fear for Fu aside from being found out by this dragon hunter uh is to lose memories. She has spotty spots and forgetful at times which worries her bc she wants to remember her experiences and her goals throughout the ages. One mundane fear Fu tries not to physically interact with humans often as she considers them flimsy and delicate, she's afraid of hurting them or worse by being really close in dragon form. Often she prefers to shapeshift to a human or something similar sized if mingling with them

🌌 MILKY WAY - what was the inspiration behind your oc? what was the first thing you decided about them? Fu was created back in the old DA days, I wanted a colorful EPIC dragon oc to draw and push myself in order to practice digital art more (plus I was still obsessed with dragons) and I really loved the design of eastern dragons whenever I saw them. Back then I wanted to keep the classic look I kept seeing in chinese folklore drawings. As for the design I took heavy inspiration of dragon statues from temples you can see some similarities of Fu's first concepts. She was refined over the years to her current look :>

📣 MEGAPHONE - how loud are they? what do they speak like? got a voice claim?

VALERIE IS SO LOUD WHEN THEY WANNA BE! They got used to talking in high noise areas and in parties blasting music so imagine they have no problem being loud. Val absolutely has a hispanic accent you can spot covering certain words and manners when they speak. Valerie tends to speak more in slang from what they pick up, Val doesn't care much about eloquently speaking what matters in their head is that they can clearly get a point across! a voice claim aa I haven't found an exact one that has all the accurate things but I'd like to think its deep like this

What a question!! I've been thinking for a while about it hm I'd say to Valerie is be more kinder to yourself. You can't save anyone if you cannot have the strength and wellness which its tempting to do everything despite it but there is even greater strength in relying on a good team and in the bonds you make, trust them more to help you out. Yeah, so, PhD in English Literature chiming in here.

I wrote my dissertation on Victorian literature and the birth of science fiction. I have a pedigree, credentials, 24 conferences, and over 20 classes taught under my belt.

So when I tell you that fanfic is real art and absolutely fucking based, I know exactly what the fuck I am talking about.

First, fanfic is old... like, stupid old. We can talk about derivative literature, or get into all the stories which are just reframing mythological narratives. We could talk about how Frankenstein is Paradise Lost but better, or how much "art" is derived from popular narrative. But pretty much as long as we've been telling stories, we've been listening to them and thinking, "huh... I wonder what would happen if...?" And boom! Fanworks.

Second, if you wanna be a real asshole, we could get into what "art" is and how it isn't real at all but is rather a concept that we share among us like a kind of collective fever dream, and that it is, therefore, a constantly moving signifier for which there is no signified... but I would also like to keep this thing short so I'll just say that my bibliography is bigger than yours and leave it at that.

Third, and most importantly, ALL ART IS REAL ART and fanfic, fanart, and adaptation have been around since AT LEAST the birth of the novel.

What makes fanwork unique (and I'll limit myself here to fic bc it's what I know best) is that it an inherently communal and anticapitalist form of creation, which bars it from more traditional markers of legitimacy. It cannot be credited to a single person, so cannot contribute to the cult of the "author" or buy into our dumb creationist mythology of how all great things must derive from a single mind. It also cannot be sold, and therefore lacks both the "aura"* of more traditional forms and the acrural of capital that we use as benchmarks of "success".**

This doesn't mean it isn't "real art"-- only that it openly and purposefully defies the markers of that category. It is an exploration of a shared imaginative space which allows individuals to dream as a collective. It is rhizomatic, with new tropes and head-canons emerging organically among a disjointed, non-hierarchical, polythestic community. It is an inherently blasphemous space which can only be so by both taking the source material very seriously while denying the authority of the Author-God and daring to rewrite it.***

How many times do fic writers take a source text so much more seriously that the showrunners or networks, or actors? How much more do we know about these characters as characters than the people who own them?

This is serious work. It is real art. Even when it is bad, or silly, or stupid, or yes-- racist and bigoted and gross. It is still art.

Unpublished writing is art. Scribbles on paper are art. A drawing o lr a digital sketch or a poem are art.

Because what makes art real isn't some external validation of value and existence by the Other, it is an experience which we go through in its creation, and it is the experience which we have when we encounter it.****

In short-- gatekeeping is fucking stupid, and it sucks hard-core when it comes to the subject of art. How many of us have killed our own dreams because they weren't "good enough"? How many of us have thrown aside our paints because we're not "real artists"?

And how many of us have had to fight our way back to a place of healing where we can be brave and write the damn thing? Or paint the damn thing? Or just put the fear of God into some oil pastels?

So yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. If you want good theory, hmu, otherwise, it is late and god speed and good luck.

Highlights

It was really neat to see how real designers are always using what they know and what they are good at to influence their design process, no matter if it is a commercial or personal project. It was comforting to me to see that there doesn't always have to be this immense pressure to try something that you don't know anything about, or that you aren't good at, just for the sake of going out of your comfort zone. Although this is useful and can really expand a designer's horizons, it is not always necessary to be uncomfortable at all stages of a design process. Drawing on your interests and strengths is also a good way to create a successful outcome.

The calibre of presentations were top tier - they were engaging and 'guided your eye', and embodied all the tips we go over in class, such as limiting the number of words on a slide.

I was pleased at how this international conference still allowed for freedom of the hosting country to incorporate any necessary traditions or honours that are encouraged in that country. The conference opened with a Mihi and Waiata, which communicated to me that it was important for Alt Group and AGI to create a safe Māori space.

Kris Sowersby's talk was a huge highlight of mine. He broke down a new typeface that his is collaborating on with Johnson Witehira, called Matarongo. It was fascinating to see their process (iteration on iteration on iteration), right from the deep, rich research they did through to the varied typefaces that were created. So many things were considered - lower/upper case, sans/serif, extra glyphs, etc. I found that I gained a whole new appreciation for typography through watching his talk.

C!tommy being so willing to let his life end after the discs were burned, broke me. This kid had lost all of his attachments throughout everything but he always had the discs to keep him going even when he didn’t physically have them. He lost his brother figure, his happiness, his motivation to go on, and now the only thing that kept him throughout all of this, the discs. He only has c!tubbo and cannot afford to live without him. He is willing to let himself be disintegrated, exploded, killed, just so tubbo and the of the SMP could LIVE to truely LIVE without fear of c!Dream or ANYONE else having god like powers.

That moment where c!tommy and c!tubbo sat on the bench and ctommy says, “There is no music left to play.” Made me break down. That would be his last sunset, his final day before his death day. He knew this and still carried on with the plans for the next day because he has nothing left in this world.

The fact that ctommy has a sort of addiction to invis potions because not being there made him feel truely happy for the first time since L’manberg is so sad. He resorted to drugs as a coping mechanism just is so telling of how he thinks he can’t be fixed. Him being happy because of drugs it’s heartbreaking. He wanted to be out of the spotlight, away from people because he believes he’s the problem. He hates himself so much and goes to the last resort so he could finally feel something.

And we are back to over sharing to deal with my mental health

Venting Post!

I am so tired. And before you ask, yes I sleep over six hours every night. When I can, I sleep over 12. So my sleeping is not the issue.

The issue is that I have no fucking clue how to exist anymore.

I was initially trying to remain as the person that I was. They were a happyish ray of sunshine that was so good at helping people. And they did! People came to them daily to vent, get advice, or just letting them know that they are doing better. And I wasn’t doing great mentally then, but I was making improvements!

It has been over a year since we went into lockdown.

And you know, there have been good things that came out of the isolation.

I know I am nonbinary! And I was getting closer to dressing how I want!

But I am exhausted.

While I am at a healthy weight now, I have been slipping in and out of my ED habits. My family has also been continuously shitting on me for gaining weight. (if you’re curious, I am 5’4” [~162 cm] at 135 lbs [~61 kg]. I used to be at 100 lbs [45 kg]. And I would continuously dip back in double digits.) So, I have a fear that I’m going tot get bad again and that is just not something that I can handle at the moment.

I also can’t socialize, because holy fuck that shit is terrifying.

Like there are times when I can’t even talk to my family.

My closest friends? One of them messages me daily to make sure I’ve eaten at least one thing (which I agree, very kind, but I will explain why I don’t like it in a bit.) The other I haven’t talked to in months and it is so awkward when we try to talk. All the other people I used to consider close haven’t talked to me in a year, even after I would attempt to reach out to them.

I know that it is partially my fault; I am horrible at messaging and keeping conversations going is one of my weaker points, even in person. Along with that, I have been having depressive episodes more often that I care to keep track of, and I push people away and isolate myself during those times. So I get that it might be difficult to talk to me.

But there are people who I will reach out to, and they read the message and just don’t respond.

Like... I will literally say “hey! It’s been a while, how have you been?” (No response)

A week goes by

“I’m just checking in to make sure you’re doing alright” (left on read)

Another week

“Me and this person wanted to plan a small hang out online! She found this really cool website that we can play games, and we can use discord to chat. Wanna join?” (No response)

And it goes on.

For over seven months.

So if you have an active imagination and are prone to overthinking, you can imagine that my thoughts are “well shit. They just don’t like me and were only friendly bc i was dating him.” (Him being my ex boyfriend; we broke up a month into the quarantine.)

And so that kinda fucked with my anxiety even more.

I don’t blame them for not talking to me. The logical part of me understands that sometimes you just don’t respond, or maybe you forget or just don’t want to. I get that. But the part of me that has been overwhelming is pretty much like, everyone hates you and you’re a burden.

And it’s really hard to open up to the people you are close to when you feel this way.

So we come back to the close friend who checks that I’ve eaten.

He is wonderful, do not get me wrong. We became acquaintances around September 2019, and friends a few months after. At this time, I was dating my ex, who was an acquaintance to the close friend. (We are going to call the close friend Edward from here on out.)

At that time, I was struggling with my body image and my eating disorder. (Every year I go through a relapse and recovery, it fucking sucks and sometimes the relapse take over almost the whole year, but not the point right now.) One of his first memories of me is me having a panic attack because I ate a sandwich.

So during this pandemic, Edward has been messaging me to make sure I’m eating, because he doesn’t want me to get really bad again. Which is nice!

Except he doesn’t really understand mental illness.

He has been trying! Do not get me wrong, he does try. But his way of going about talking to me during a depressive episode is “Just don’t let it get to you” And “Be happy” and my favorite, “I don’t get why it’s so bad.”

Along with that, he gets incredibly upset when I don’t respond to his messages within like thirty minutes.

Keep in mind, I have been going through many, many depressive episodes and am constantly struggling to get out of bed and keep up with my school work. I have told him this. I have told him that sometimes I just cannot handle checking my messages and participating in conversation.

And a side note, I am in my last year of high school. Which mean I have online learning and in a few months I will be graduating. Which means I have a few classes I need to pass in order to graduate. If you keep up with most high schoolers, we have been getting an absurd amount of work with due dates every fucking day. That plus depression does not go well, and so I am very tired all the time, but since we have actual lectures instead of recordings, I keep my camera on for every single class because the teacher’s get sad if we don’t. And yes, there are classes where it is just me and the teacher with our cameras on. And yes I constantly disassociate during class and stop focusing because I forget to.

So yeah, it is fucking hard to just keep up with that, and socializing isn’t really something my brain sees as important because of the constant negative energy I receive when I do try to talk to people. So I have told him that as of late, it is just difficult to do much besides school, and things that produce any sort of serotonin or dopamine.

And he got upset that talking to him wasn’t making me happy!

Which, it does! Because he is a great friend! But he is so rude about the things involving my mental illnesses! And acts like he understands it better because he is in a psychology class! So in this state, I do not feel as comfortable talking to him since he only wants the ‘happy’ version of me that struggles to eat so that he can ‘fix’ my eating disorder and be able to feel like he did something!

But I continue to try to talk to him, because he is an only child and I am one of his only actual friends. (I really wish I was kidding, but when we became close, he told me that I was the first person to ever actually care about how he’s feeling and how he is actually doing rather than just taking advantage of his presence. He almost cried when I said that I appreciated his existence.)

And I do care about him. Edward is definitely a close friend, and I appreciate that he tries. But lately, he only does it for the validation of knowing he did something good, and it feels like he is just tired of having me around since I can’t bring myself to speak much.

So I have been trying to push myself to be a good friend to him. And I am doing what I can to pretend that I am getting better so that he can be happier. Which is just tiring me out even more.

I feel empty most of the time now, and I am so easily put over the edge. I can hide it pretty well, but it has been getting to the point where I am contemplating self harm again just to feel something.

I don’t remember how to properly do things. I am really just trying to get through every day. But it feels like I am headed straight for doom and I am so tired of it and I just want to leave!

Which in a few months, technically I will. I hope to go out of state for college (to get as far as I possibly can from all of this shit) but as I apply to more scholarships, I want to scream and cry because I have no clue how I am going to pay for college because my parents make too much money and my mother spends it all on herself so I am stressed out. I didn’t do enough extracurriculars, and I have been rejected from so many scholarships that it’ s starting to look like I might need to stay here, and I can’t do that. I just can’t.

So I have been crying and trying to escape from this shit, and I feel like at some point I might just constantly think that nothing is real and none of this shit matters, because that is on my mind more and more.

But hey! I have been reading, writing, gaming, watching anime and drawing to cope so that shit exists (even though it’s all shit so I won’t post it) and I’m making improvements with that so that is something?

I don’t fucking know lol.

hey life update, if anyone is willing to help. i am not in the right headspace to do full commissions, but i feel like i gotta do smthg. my situation has become that i now have fainting spells and have uncontrolled muscle spasms/tics. I became v weak and can barely walk without collapsing. As my situation currently stands, i have been to the E.R. at least 4 times in the past week and my symptoms are becoming worse. At this time i am fearing that i am going to lose my job because my job refused to allow me to take a medical leave of absence because i still do not have an answer/solution to why i have been blacking out and having uncontrollable muscle movements, ie that my hands have thrown things, hit things (my S/O’s arms, walls, their car, etc), and in general cannot hold anything for more than a minute. I work as a cashier and my job told me that they have the grounds to terminate me if i leave for an uncertain amount of time. bc my medical reasoning “isn’t sufficient enough” and has not been diagnosed on paper from a doctor...which bc of covid, it will take months to see any sort of specialist to be diagnosed...so i cannot work bc i literally become weak and faint/pass out from the bare minimum exertion, ie standing or walking small lengths. and how severe my muscle spasms can get, i have thrown things across rooms before. i literally now have been getting so weak that it has happened when i was laying down so i literally could not sit up at all.

it’s disgusting that my job won’t allow me to take the leave i need to be properly diagnosed and seen to. ill make a new post on it, but i am taking only pencil commissions. I cannot do any fully illustrated digital art, traditional painting, or line work because of my condition and how it’s worsening.

What is your ideal setting for focusing on your writing?

at home in my bedroom?? usually?? sometimes i’ll go to coffee shops or the library to write but it’s usually to brainstorm rather than actually write. i like being comfortable (i.e. being in pajamas) and while i go out in pajamas like 60% of the time anyway, it’s still nice being able to sit like A Gay Person™️ without any fear of judgment lol

What is your favorite genre to write?

has to be crack and angst (wow what a surprise HSJAHDJSA) and i think it’s pretty obvious from my masterlist... i just?? enjoy making people laugh + cry like i don’t know what to say lol but if i had to choose between the two, then i’d go with crack. making people laugh is my favorite thing in the world!!

Do you prefer to write on paper or digitally?

digitally,,, my brain moves kinda fast (thanks adhd) and if i write on paper, i will 100% of the time have terrible grammar bc my brain just... automatically skips words?? like i’ll be thinking of the sentence (ex: Yoongi takes a sip of water from your bottle) but then?? some words just disappear when i write it down?? so it’ll end up like “Yoongi a sip of water from bottle” LIKE?? WHERE DID THE REST OF THE SENTENCE GO LMAOOO (pls tell me other people relate... or am i just stupit... help me hsjdaskd)

It’s the middle of the night and you suddenly wake up with an idea. What do you do?

write it in my phone notes app,,, this happens a lot and it has a success rate of 50% because sometimes i’ll remember what my notes mean and other times it’s just complete gibberish,,, i have a note from 2018 that literally only says “gobble on that dick” and i have NO IDEA WHY,,, my brain is an enigma -_-

Who is your favorite person to write about?

*looks at my masterlist* idk take a guess LMAO (okay but asides from THOSE TWO... probably seokjin. that guy comes so easily to me,,, it’s no wonder he was my first bias when i started stanning bangtan lmao we’re on a different plane of existence,,, we’re both intps too so,,, seokjin 🤝 zee we always win)

Do you like making your own characters, or do you usually write about real people?

both?? i just don’t ever post my own original work tho bc i’m scared of being #vulnerable so most of my ocs stay locked in a box forever ;-; but tbh, at this point... i consider the way i characterize bangtan in my fics to be sorta like ocs most of the time (most esp the reader character) bc i don’t always use the same “personalities” for most of them, if that makes sense?? it’s especially obvious when i make smaus bc the characters there often shift (with the exception of like... hoseok... i’m sorry man idk why u make such a compelling villain UR JUST TOO GOOD TO PASS UP)

Have you ever written a book/story with more than 15 chapters (100K words)?

fox rain!! she’s currently at 90K rn but i think with the next update, we’ll definitely hit the 100K mark... oh boy... that girl is a behemoth -_- what were rha and i thinking... lmao

How often do you get ideas?

every single day,,, every hour sometimes,,, i like to daydream (it’s my favorite pastime lol) but most of them just usually stay as dreams,,, maybe only 10% of my ideas ever have the potential to be written out and then only 1% of that percentage actually does become a fic,,, sorry guys but i have no brain wrinkles,,, i am as smooth as yoongi’s cheeks lol

Do you ever get an idea that you really like, but just can’t seem to finish?

*takes one look at my growing pile of unfinished fics* i don’t know what you’re talking about?? haha i always finish my fics what do you mean

(okay but asides from my #unmentionables... i do have lots of ideas that i really want to write but don’t have the time nor talent to accomplish!! there’s this one magic school au that i started worldbuilding almost two years ago but i doubt i’ll ever write it. it’s forever stuck in the mind vault, unfortunately!)

What is your least favorite plot?

mafia aus,,, i really cannot stomach them i’m sorry,,, badboy aus come close, as well as infidelity aus,,, they just leave me feelin weird i guess ;-; like more power to ya if you write/read those but i will unfortunately have to pass,,, gomenasorry
