I'm really excited to share a sneak peek at the magazine spread since I've been talking about it for a while now. So far it's mostly layout and narrowing down the photo selection, just barely started any writing for the magazine itself, but it's generating new ideas for their story after the magazine is released. Finally, the angst I crave.

In modding news...

I've been working on modernizing my old recolors of the in-game cutoff vest/hoodie (yes, that hoodie). It's been one of my favorite pieces of clothing since my PS4 days, and was one of my earliest recolors.

Left: Gabriella, who you might know; and right: Vamika who only made an appearance or two before I lost her preset, recreated her, then failed to post more pics before I lost the HDD.

Not only is the vest getting an upgrade to ArchiveXL, I'm working on adding optional garment support; additional colors and patterns, and more refits; and, something I'm really proud of, an updated cropped mesh with matching fringe. I'll be adding the player versions as cropped options, too.

The aforementioned matching fringe. I attempted this way back with the original mod but didn't have the knowledge to make it work. Also: hands.

Related, this has made me finally update all my OCs for 2.0+. Gabriella was already updated but Vamika needed some help, and she also got some cool new electrifying eyes. Babygirl Travis and Antonio are also working just fine; you'll see them again soon, I'm sure.

Bea's dissatisfaction was only ripening. She slid him out of her mouth, a glinting strand of saliva bridging her bottom lip to the head of his cock for a moment until she scurried to the weapons room. There, she grabbed V's KA-BAR off the wall, weighing the heft of the blade in her hand as she gripped the handle. Back in the living room, she stood behind V and… Just couldn't fucking help herself. With the softest scrape of blade against dark stubble, she placed the sharpened edge gently beneath his Adam's apple and bent to whisper in his ear.  "Do you feel that, V?" V swallowed. Beneath the blade's tip a thin, red laceration formed on his throat, barely perceptible.  (Inside his interface, panicked alerts warned V that the emergency protocol would begin waking him soon. He quickly punched in the override and maintained his focus.) "Every single time you're like this," Bea sighed, "I think about how easy it would be to slit your throat." She kissed his ear lightly. "Carve you up into little pieces," she kept the knife against his throat as she kissed his temple and over his forehead. She looked down at his cock, still glistening with her saliva, and smiled at the way it twitched. "I would like to see you try," V whispered.  That was what he always said, but for Bea, it never grew old. With each bounce of his Adam's apple a new slender cut appeared on his throat. She felt an ache between her legs as she watched him bleed for her.

You can recognise my writing by: off-kilter metaphors, navel gazing, banter, occasional direct address from narrator, maximalist formatting decisions, the same 3-4 smut tropes, and some hacky plot devices that i won't name lest they be perceived!!

My most controversial take (current fandom): i think i'm not plugged in enough to know what is actually controversial? i exist in a tumblr bubble where everyone is p chill about everything. anyway i think a lot of the actual writing in cyberpunk 2077 is not very good and as a narrative it fails way more than it succeeds!

Top three favourite tropes: hurt/comfort, PINING / emotional slow burn, and uhh idk the name for it but "fucking instead of talking about feelings"

What’s your current writing mood (10 – super motivated and churning out words like crazy, 0 – in a complete rut): maybe a 4? i'm still in that post-longfic season of malaise / refractory period. i need to be essentially possessed by a demon in order to write and i have a handful of little ideas simmering, waiting to turn into demons
