I’m so glad to see more posts like this because, dear lord, they ostracize him so much. It’s terrible. I get so sad always seeing the I killed River posts or the posts that talk so much crap about him to the point where there wish for death just because they don’t like him. It’s sad, to be honest. He has so many good qualities, and even Cdpr mistreats him. It’s almost the end of the year, with no birthday posts. He’s not in any promotional posts or even mentioned by Cdpr at all. Why make a character you don't like. Poor River.

Okay, I've officially seen all of the Cyberpunk romances (just watched my friend romance River and Judy and I romanced the other two) and I gotta say... I genuinely think River's is my favorite? I don't get the hate even a littte bit! He's such a sweetie and I loved his whole storyline.

I should know better by now than to trust the opinions of the fandom when they are talking about how terrible the brown/black character is. He is lovely and well written as both a friend and a romance and I will die on that hill💖
