More action, new villains, Bat nipples and more Bat-Ass. Joel Schumacher return to direct "Batman & Robin". However Val Kilmer didn't return so George Clooney was the next Batman, but Chris O'Donnell return to play as Robin and also starred Arnold Schwarzenegger (Mr. Freeze), Uma Thurman (Poison Ivy), and Alicia Silverstone (Batgirl). 1997 was the fallout of Batman's movie franchise and thank God I didn't see this in theaters. Unfortunate it flopped at the box office and how poorly this movie was why? The script, the characters, the music, or is it the bat nipples and ass? Well Mr. Freeze's story wasn't too bad because he wanted to find a cure for his wife and you feel bad for him. But couldn't they concentrate on one villain instead if two or should say three? Yes Bane was in this film, he wore the same mask but he wasn't intelligent nor he didn't talk but in one word like a four year old. Sadly this was my childhood movie and to this day it is an good god guilty guilt pleasure and a unknowable sequel that just leaves you to say, "Why?" I don't think Marvel would care much if Wonder Woman had poor performance. They'd probably blame it on DC's bad reputation, and even if it did matter to them they have a "anything you can do I can do better" mentality when it comes the DCEU.

You’d think! But nope.

Marvel has blamed DC movies before on why they won’t do female-led films. Like Elektra and Catwoman are the primary reasons we haven’t gotten a major female-led film until now, from EITHER Marvel or DC.

3. Supergirl – (DC) Supergirl was one of the most important female super hero in Superman franchise. This Movie came out in 1984 and did $14 million total domestic with opening weekend of $5.5 million. Again, another disaster.

And we know they’ve blamed poor book sales on diversity before.

Wonder Woman fails, they’d cancel Captain Marvel and any other projects coming up because it speaks to a pre-existing bias.

Wonder Woman does really well, and they’ll greenlight more projects because it shows the money is there.

Batman’s Franchise

I've noticed something about the Batman Franchise.... In the early years of a darker Batman, Bruce was still somewhat jolly even with the suit on... Now a days it seems he's not allowed to even crack a smile in his suit... 

What's up with that? Has anyone else noticed that?
