(the next day)

Pacing, pacing, and pacing. You were pacing back and forth in your bedroom while debating whether you should jump out your window or take and bath and then jump.

“What the fuck!” You screamed, panting. You’re normally very ladylike and calm but what happened yesterday completely ruined? No—changed the proximity between you and Paul. You don’t think you can face him with a straight face anymore.

Letting out a deep breath you decide to have a bath to calm your nerves.

Your back has been aching weirdly anyway.

You left the bathroom with a silk robe around your lower waist and torso with a silky head wrap on top of your wet hair. You sat down at your dresser and looked at yourself in the mirror just to notice a figure sitting on the steps of your indoor underground aquarium.

As a child, you loved animals especially reptiles like snakes and aquatic animals like manta rays, and so at the ripe age of 12, you got your room redesigned.

Introducing a little shallow pond-like area near the large window in your room which is around 3 feet deep.

You turned around slowly, holding the silk of the robe close to your cleavage. Surprise, It’s Paul. You yelp loudly at the sight of him.

“Paul! You scared the life out of me!” You say as the breath in your voice drops.

“I just wanted to escort you back to dinner since mother and father are back.” “Well, u-um Paul you don’t need to do that.”

“Just pretend I’m a prince and you’re my lady since stammering is quite un-princess-like.”

You pause. Un-princess like? Who does he think he is you criticize you, he is NOT your father.

“Excuse me but Paul, not that I’m not grateful for your advice it’s just that I don’t think you should be giving it with your temper. Plus you’re not my father.” You said with an upward smile as you turned back to face your vanity.

His chuckle after seemed threatening. “Whatever you say, m’lady.” Ignoring his statement, you slowly started applying your routine body lotion to your smooth, almost feline-like skin. You laughed to yourself after thinking about how you’re like one of the people from Geidi Prime from toe to neck.

As you start to slowly untie your robe you become aware of the other presence again. “Paul, do you mind waiting outside? I’d rather keep my private parts, private.”

He leaned back, placing two palms on the hard tiling behind him, “Like it’s something I haven’t seen before.”

You’ve dealt with a lot of stress already so you decided to play it off cooly, “Haha, very funny now shoo.”

“Looks like you really want me to go, huh?” chuckling you said, “Glad I got my point across now brother.”

“Just wait outside, I can ensure you I won’t make you wait too long”

“What the princess says, shall happen.” and he left.

Geidi Prime

(You were 8 months old and they were four)

Baffling out random coos while you sat atop Paul’s lap with Feyd’s eyes almost looking like they were inspecting you.

“She looks exactly like you.” “From the outside or inside?” Paul asked almost rapidly.

Feyd looked surprised at the question, “Why would you ask that?”

“I’ve never seen anyone look at a tiny baby so precisely before,” Paul answered as he tugged on your soft cheek.

Letting out a sigh, Feyd said “Well, we from Geidi Prime have little guesses about how babies are going to be in the future, and based on that information, we choose their role on Geidi Prime.”

Paul’s eyes glistened at his words, “Can you tell me her prediction? please.”

Feyd took a second to think and then sighed and gave in to his wants.

“I might be wrong but, she’ll grow into a fierce woman on the outside, on the inside, and mentally, she’ll be built to rely on her closest. She will be academically strong and she will grow up into possibly, the most beautiful girl in all eight fiefdoms. Truly a remarkable woman.” he said with a smile surprisingly.

Paul turned baby you around and traced his fingers along your adorable chubby cheeks with happiness. “Always knew she would be destined for greatness.”

You came out of your room in a beautiful baby blue dress that ended above your knees with a dragging train. It had a row of natural diamonds near your waist.

As you exited you turned around to shut the door and faced forward to see Paul standing still, waiting for you.

Paul was wearing a classic Atredies formal wear for men. Normally, it’s in the colour of house Atredies but today Paul chose to wear it in black.

You couldn’t lie he looked handsome in his attire, it made your cheeks turn red for a second.

His eyes raked along your dress. He turned around a held his arm out for you to hook on to. You accepted and started making your way to the dining hall.

changes from canon:

• expanded and redesigned cabin area. Annabeth Chase and other Athena and Hephaestus campers redesigned each and every cabin for the new generation of campers. Each cabin is intentionally designed and placed, with a designated expansion zone as more minor gods are added to camp. I also added a cabin for Hestia near the cabins’ campfire area- I felt that she needed to be represented, and that Percy would insist on some sort of honoring of her presence. Note: dionysus cabin is missing in this version, but in the version on my etsy his cabin is between hermes and hebe!

• each cabin now has bathrooms and showers within the cabin. The old camp bathrooms have been repurposed into guest facilities for any visiting roman campers, etc

• more campfires! There are now two campfires- an informal one in the middle of the cabins, and the main campfire where everyone gathers for smores and singalongs.

��� the camp is set up less like a summer camp and more like a small village- more open space, etc

• I added “Memorial Circle,” a place for the camp to recognize campers who have passed away. The outer wall has every fallen camper’s name carved in, and there are five statues placed in a semicircle. Each statue display changes on a cycle to display a carved figure of every lost camper. Memorial Circle was designed and created in a joint effort between the Athena, Hephaestus, and Apollo cabins (with additional help and input from everyone else, of course)

• there’s a small art market next to the arts and crafts center where campers, nymphs, and satyrs can sell or display their work!

• there’s a soccer field next to the volleyball field now, so the campers can have a variety of sports

• some other details I like: apollo and artemis are the “twin pillars” welcoming you to the cabin area, matching and yet different. Hebe cabin (goddess of youth) has a small fountain in the center (fountain of youth). I LOVE the design for the demeter and hecate cabins, they just fit so well! zeus and hera have their own little section, still with the others but kind of given a place of prominence within the layout

The apartments first. Ari has 4 in total. One in Maduin which is her office of sorts with a kitchen, a little bathroom, and bedroom. One in Balmung which is her second, I believe. One in Exodus, which is her third, and one on Adamantoise, the fourth.

The Balmung one isn't really my favorite. It used to look a lot different and even had a spiral staircase leading to a loft that hung over a kitchen before some things happened in game and I had to change it because of bad memories. It was a real shame.. BUT I still haven't finished redesigning it. I will at some point when I am not lazy but as of right now, it is more like a small hotel with a tiny kitchen, a large living room and dining room, aquariums...but no bedroom. I hate the layout. This isn't my best work. I just wasn't feeling super inspired when I put this together. 😖

The Exodus one is kind of like a Deluxe Suite with a kitchen, living room, bedroom/office, and on suite bathroom. I love this one. I want to spend more time in this apartment but I don't really DC travel much unless I feel up to it or if I have to do a duty...I haven't ran a duty with anyone since Endwalker wow. Anyway, this one is so cozy. ❤️

The Adamantoise one is my personal favorite! Not only does it have a big bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room, but it also has a walk-in closet. 🙈❤️ I'm thinking of changing the bed area up a bit and adding a marble cove bed or something with a little table near it. That would like great. 😌

Man, any time a creative person shows me their project and they're like "What do you think? Where could I improve?" I really need to go "I like it. Maybe not how I would have done it but it works well. I'm excited to see where this goes."

But no, the stupid idealist person in my head keeps going "Don't sugar coat this. Offer the advice you'd like to hear. Better yet, offer to help if they're up for it." And then I do. And then they accept my offer. And then I sit down to see what I can do, because I'm gonna stick to my word darn it, and I either get so invested in working on it that I lose track of time and it's hours later than I thought it was or I'm so hopelessly out of my depth I have to apologize for even thinking I was up to the task (except for that one time the solution was literally just to delete an element from the page for print accessibility; that was an easy one where I knew exactly what I was doing and it was easy to do).

Anyway I'm struggling to remember my training in page layout. It's been years since I've had to do anything really innovative with page layout, but I'm working on a TTRPG character sheet redesign (and it isn't for 5e, not even d&d) and I'm both very into it and also struggling to keep up with myself. Mostly because I really like flowery line art but can't do it and get really self conscious when I make something really blocky but functional. But the layout is what's important. And for the life of me I can't remember which was the dominant model of page scanning for persons between the age of ~15 and ~30. Because there's a way that people look across a page and it changes depending on how old you are (or really, what generation you're from). And I'm too stubborn to do a web search right now.

You can see why I'm making this post, right? I'm losing my mind a little? Getting sucked into the project maybe? I'm about 10 steps from ranting to my reflection in the bathroom mirror about ideal proportions for vector graphic text frames, and those 10 steps are the literal steps between my bed (where I'm writing this) and the bathroom vanity.

Sunset Valley - Fixed and Renovated.  World Download

Sunset Valley Renewal

What is this?

-Sunset Valley map edited in CAW to group all of the new community lots from all the expansion into their own neighborhood.  Original road layout is still in place just a few extra lots added. -Relocated Most of the expansion community Lots that EA took absolutely no effort to place within the world.  Almost all of the EA Expansion lots were facing the wrong direction, incorrect lot sizes etc.  Now they are all in one location with the exception of the Equestrian lot as its requires a large lot so that lot has been left in its original location.  ( I might update this in the future by adding a new lot within CAW) -Multiple Residential lots have been relocated in order to accommodate the new Community lots but all of the original EA lots/families are still within the world. -Fixed many of the ugly roof lines of the original EA builds. -Every House has been "toned down" with more neutral colors inside.  No more mustard and olive green bathrooms and kitchens! -Multiple houses have been redesigned to a more functional floor plan.  For Example: Plus Plus no longer has that ugly tree house looking addition to the back of the house.  It now resembles a colonial style two story home. -Most homes have had their exterior colors either changed or toned down from their Crayola box colors.

I have to say this is to my tastes.  I admit I am a fan of blues and grays so there might be a bit of a common theme with some lots.  I did go out of my comfort zone quite a bit however and used some color.  Overall this is a drastic improvement over the vanilla game while trying to keep the same feel of the original Sunset Valley.

** I have all of the expansion packs and some stuff packs installed.  I also own some store content but I don't think any of it was used.  This isn’t necessary to use this world.  If you start the game and see some missing windows etc that just means you don't have that expansion/pack.  You can just replace whats missing.  The game world will still work fine. **

This is an Example of how EA added Expansion pack lots into the game.  The building is facing the wrong direction and placed in an odd location on the map.

Installation:

Please read through these instructions carefully.  Most people should understand how to do this but I prefer not having to answer questions on what should be very simple instructions.

1.  Unzip the file to a separate folder.  You should see a file called Sunset Valley Renewal.Sims3Pack (World File) and a folder called Sunset Valley Renewal.sims3 (Game Save)

2.  Copy the Sunset Valley Renewal.Sims3Pack to you Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads.  In Windows 10/11 you can just open up File Explorer and in the left bar you will see "Documents"  otherwise it will be copied to X:\Users\(Your Windows Login Name)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads.  Keep the Sims 3 Folder open as you will need this again in a few steps.

3.  Open The sims 3 launcher (S3Launcher.exe).  Click on Downloads.  If you copied the world file to the correct location you should see Sunset Valley Renewal there.  Click on the check box to the left of the name and click install.  A box will pop up.  Wait for it to finish installing.  Close the box and then close the launcher.

4.  Next you will need to install my save game in order to have the world be populated.  Otherwise if you start a new game the world will be empty.  All of the lots will be there but there will be no sims in any of the houses.

5.  Copy the folder Sunset Valley Renewal.sims3 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Saves.  Be sure to copy the entire folder over not just the files inside of the folder.

6.  Now you're done!  If you copied the save game correctly when you start the game you should see a new save called Sunset Valley Renewal.  Load this up and you're good to go.  Do not start a New Game with the world or the world will be unpopulated!  Of course you can always play with the world unpopulated and populate it with your own sims but if you want it populated use the save.

7.  Another note...  If you want to be able to start a new game in this world in the future after loading into the world Save As and rename it to whatever you want that way in the future you will be able to use my save to start fresh in Sunset Valley again.

I finished redesigning my Mario S/I!!!! She's gonna go by Basil now! ^^

Okay so- after seeing stuff abt the Mario Movie and how they're going the isekai route, I thought it'd be a fun route for Basil! So, Basil's a bit of a paranoid loner who lives alone, making a living off of graphic design for companies, as well as commissions for fun on the side. She's just chilling at home one day, drawing, when out of nowhere a loud commotion occurs.

She goes to investigate it, and upon entering the bathroom, her jaw just fuckin drops.

Lo and behold, there's a whole-ass warp pipe in her bathroom. Thing demolished her toilet and water pipes and has her left completely confused, mind-boggled, angry and extremely anxious. In a panic she runs to her phone book, flipping through it trying to find a number for emergency plumbing services while also searching on google for advice. Eventually she finds a number for 'Mario Bros. Plumbing Service' and seeing as they are listed as sometimes being available for emergency appointments, she takes a shot and calls them.

Upon connecting with one of the brothers, Luigi, she explains her situation in a panic, rambling and almost in tears because 'holy fuck the bathroom's completely ruined and I have no idea what to do help-'. Luigi is sympathetic to her situation and gets his brother, and they go to her home to check out the damages. Basil scrambles to get dressed and be presentable for the company, all the while having a bit of a breakdown over this giant pipe in her flooding bathroom. She lives in an apartment complex in New Donk City, on the bottom floor, so luckily she's the only one effected by the warp pipe's presence.

When Mario and Luigi get there, they're let in by a frazzled Basil, who's fiddling with her tablet pen. She leads them to the bathroom, and they're both baffled and confused at the presence of this pipe, as well as the destruction caused by it. Neither brother knows where that pipe could have come from, or what it was for. All they knew was it was causing major problems for her plumbing and water. They got to work inspecting the damages, asking for Basil's input every once in a while since, well, it was her bathroom after all. She knew the layout best. At one point, Basil put her pen back in the pocket of her top, before approaching the pipe as the brothers inspected it.

She asked a few questions about their theories about the pipes, but the three of them hadn't a clue what this pipe's purpose could've been. Curiously she propped herself up on some of the rubble of her bathroom, peeking into the pipe. She waved the brothers over, pointing out how spick and span it was... it was spotless! Shiny, spotless, no imperfections in sight. They were all confused, but that confusion quickly turned to panic and terror when Basil leaned just a little too far forward. Suddenly, the pipe sucked her arm in. She shrieked, horrified, but before she could further react, the pipe pulled her entire body into it. Mario and Luigi freaked out as well. Mario was quick to grab hold of Basil's ankle before she was fully taken by it, and Luigi held onto Mario for dear life, trying to keep him steady so they could try to get her out safely. It was for nothing, though, because not only was Basil sucked into the pipe; but Mario and Luigi were yanked inside of it as well!

After what felt like forever of them all screaming in panic whilst being warped through the green pipe, they were finally spat out on the other side. The brothers helped Basil up, and they all looked around. They had no idea where they were, and they were all a panicked mess. Well, okay, just Basil and Luigi. Mario seemed a bit more composed, at least. He began to investigate the place, Luigi and Basil quickly following behind him lest they be left behind. They would soon discover what strange new land was upon them now: The Mushroom Kingdom. At first they just wanted to try and get home. Instead, an adventure would await them, hindering their ability to get home. There were much more important things that would happen soon.

One thing after another happened, and before they knew it, Luigi was kidnapped by some giant beast of a man, who called himself Bowser, King of the Koopas. He initially attempted to take the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, Peach, but she fought him off. Bowser opted to take Luigi instead, planning to blackmail the Princess with his safety. The Power Stars would be handed over, or the green man would get it.

At that point, one thing was certain: he needed to be stopped. So, Mario, Basil, Princess Peach, and one of the many Toads from the kingdom who'd offered to assist, all departed to rescue Luigi from King Bowser.

Quickly in, Basil realized her tablet pen was still in her pocket. Upon pulling it out, she realized that the warp had changed it. It had become some sort of wand. She could draw on the air with it, creating strokes with different textures, elements, and powers. All of which could be effected by a number of Power-Ups scattered about the Mushroom Kingdom. Basil didn't see herself as the heroic type, but with this new realization, she decided to give herself a chance. She'd use this newfound ability to help Mario, Peach, and Toad. All four of them together would save Luigi, they were certain of it.

i’m an interior designer! in some states you do not need to have any certification to call yourself an interior designer, so people who interior decorate (which is more surface level stuff. like new furniture, paint colors, etc) call themselves designers when all designers actually have a degree for it so it’s common that the two are mixed up. designers are more involved with construction so we work with engineers (plumbing, electrical, structural and mechanical) for lighting redesigns, bathroom remodels, new kitchens, new layouts, etc. i work at an commercial interior architecture firm and i draw construction document sets so i still help with finishes like paint, flooring, countertops and what not but we also are really involved with remodels or new builds and have to get our plans approved from the city. and then we work with the contractor throughout construction

It's neat characterization especially with the fact he didn't think of trying to clean it, not even the classic lick your fingers and wipe the saliva on your pants trick. It really comes off as he doesn't try to keep himself nice and neat.

The room has been completely redesigned to look more "roomy" i guess. We now have TWO (2) windows showing the outside. Although oddly enough no door?

In this image, we get a nice closeup, sadly it doesn't show anything big, though at least we know there is nothing of importance in the Display cases. Just some plates. SKETCH OF WHAT THE PORCH MIGHT LOOK LIKE

We also can't see much outside, it looks like the front yard oddly enough, Maybe we're looking at a porch. This would explain why the glass goes down to the floor, although i don't see any handles.
