Summary:

A certain degree of lunacy is expected of all officers in the Gotei 13, and rumor has it Captain Hitsugaya has finally grown into his. At least, that’s the only explanation for why he’s agreed to take the East Rukongai Trash Job. ...Officially it’s called the East Rukongai Train Job. But Hinamori’s not buying it, and she is going to get to the bottom of this. Two tickets to ride on the East Rukongai Soul Train, packed to the brim with the Seireitei’s old and broken things—and a secret (or two) that is not listed on the manifest. AKA what passes for Rukongai pleasure tourism. AKA how to survive the war after the war. AKA the things you fall in love with won't be what you think.

NB: Please know that two versions ago, this fic was titled 'Hinamori had never seen such a mess.' While the statement is still true, Thomas the Tank Engine did not vibematch the story Hinamori ended up telling, so I had to change it. I am devastated by this.

PLEASE enjoy the train ticket. After the Atrocieties of an earlier version of this fic I was like, "Well, I can't not write it. I made tickets!" and that is essentially why I kept trying to write this fic. I love the tickets.

since Hades/Pluto is heavily associated with volcanic vents (locations with noxious fumes were considered entrances to the underworld and so most ploutonions were placed on those types of sites) what if Nico and Hazel get healed/power ups from hot springs water like Percy does with just water in general.

just like. get Nico in an onsen and it'll fix everything wrong with him.

i’m cooking up a landoscar stranded island fic where landoscar fell overside a cruise after nearly drunkenly booking up and ended up on a stranded island in the middle of butt-fucking-nowhere.

oscar comes to learn lando is a rich boy who grew up on a silver spoon and oscar is too in his ways to accept this. each day they’re arguing over how they’re going to survive being stranded and oscar is sure he’s the only one with survival skills up his sleeve.

until lando is actually the one who starts the fires who builds the shelters. and suddenly, maybe lando isn’t so bad.

i’m currently cooking it all up now but i’m only on day 2 and i can’t count how many times i’ve written the word coconut in the last few paragraphs BUT i’m having fun with it!! i’ve planned out the days but if you have any questions or suggestions feel free to send 🫶🏻

While hiking down trail, Teddy smelled the distinctive smell of sulfur emanating from a wild hot spring. After being on trail for what felt like a lifetime, Teddy’s paws had aches and his back had pains. With no time to lose and no clothes to shed Teddy scampered up the hillside to where the spring had made a small pool. Easing his weary body into the steaming waters Teddy felt instant relief. Mother Earth knew just what he needed, he’s said it before and I’m sure he’ll say it again:
