With 9.1% of votes. A surprising third place given I don't think many people know about him, but he's pretty nice in the 5 or so panels he appears in. He mentions going to Jakarta so he's probably Indonesian. Has anyone written a fanfic about Cass/Sal yet???

Tai'Darshan from Batgirl (2000)!

With 33.3% of votes. TAI'DARSHAN YOU DESERVE THIS SO MUCH. My own personal #1 pick, Tai'Darshan was instrumental to Cass' development in many ways and fought for the freedom of his country. He deserves a LOT more than what canon gave him.

With a staggering 45.5% of votes. There's no competing with Conner and Cass' fun relationship, especially since it lasted beyond romance into a lighthearted and stable friendship. They have the honour of being the only couple on this list with fanfics AND tons of good fanart. Congrats KonCass shippers!

Marque sees herself as separate from the others trained by Cain because not only does she pride herself on having maintained her sense of identity, but she also was able to break away from Cain on her own. Meanwhile Cass who had found her way out from Cain’s grasp twice sees herself in the people that Cain has trained because she recognizes that they are victims of the same things she has gone through. 

Marque wants to end Cain and doesn’t care about salvaging a sense of family from anyone who had to do with him. But Cass can’t help but see lost potential for family in the others trained by Cain and to some extent in Cain himself. 

Cass, after alienating herself from the Bat family, has found that Marque is her sister, but family is not about blood, it's about choice.

I know people love saying 'Bruce is a girldad' and I totally get it, we want to show how much he loves Cass and that she's his daughter. But Bruce's initial love for Cass was largely predicated on how not girly she was. He openly dislikes her girlhood throughout Batgirl 2000 (including but not limited to: dismissing her civilian identity, berating her for any romantic attempts, weakening her friendship with Stephanie, undermining her relationship to Babs, etc. etc.). Cass' femininity interferes with his ability to project onto her, so a lot of the time he just dismisses it. Is it really a coincidence that Bruce's only adopted daughter is one who wasn't raised as a girl?

I might not like this comic very much (so far) but I’m always a big fan of characters killing their shitty parents. It balances it out a little bit.

Wait ok I'm not knowledgeable on anything Wilson family. Slade drugs Rose???

yeah <///3 before tt03 they had met like once ever (and it went poorly) so to get rose on his side slade injected her with a super soldier serum

in #0.5 he kidnaps her after buying a hit on her (many such cases) and goes "cmon rose we can be a family lets be a family <3333" and she agrees (because shes angry and slade is the one handing her a weapon to kill the man that killed her mother)

then theyre on the same side for a while! the first time we hear about the serum (and iirc only time its specifically mentioned while shes being drugged) is in #12 (BART 🥺)

we also see some flashbacks in fresh hell of slade giving her the serum too

anyways then she joins the team and everything is alright (lie). this is the first confirmation that she was being drugged, plus also showing that shes staying on the team just bc shes afraid slade will get her again :(

in any story that takes place from 2003-2006 that includes rose & slade (bg #63-64, nightwing #112-115, etc), rose is being drugged :(

basically the writers needed an explanation for why she would choose to work with slade and wanted an excuse for why she would be able to join the titans later on and honestly? rare johns banger. this plotline fucks to me. completely defines rose's relationship with slade and gives her a concrete reason to hate him but also have very complicated feelings about her place in his life ouuughhhh

but in conclusion slade sucks so heres some panels of rose beating him up
