im gonna sound like such a hater but i honest to god hope that fang skin with the baseball helmet DOES NOT WIN!!!!! he is wearing a batting helmet with umpire gear and random ass tech things scattered around it. The skin is not concise or good.
of course it might win anyway because brawl stars' main demographic (kids and teens) really likes when things are overdesigned im just like. >:( i disagree.
#brawl stars#9 times out of 10 a simple recolor/slight model change will sweep a doodoo 20 million moving parts mecha skin#AND they tend to be cheaper. money saved 👍

Technological Advances in Baseball
Baseball, an American sport that has excited fans for more than a century and a half, continues to evolve in terms of the game’s rules, player development, and fan experience. Advances in the game, particularly tech integration, have revolutionized many aspects of the sport for players, fans, and officials.
Equipment advances have significantly enhanced player safety and performance. Early equipment and gear offered minimal protection, leaving players vulnerable to injuries from pitched balls. Modern gear, including batters’ helmets and face masks, chest protectors, and shin guards for catchers, have vastly reduced the risk of injury. Innovations such as the "shine balls" and "frosted baseballs" have further improved visibility for batters and catchers in varying light conditions. Glove technology has also progressed - larger, more efficient designs now make it easier to make difficult catches compared to the game’s earlier versions.
In pitching, technology has changed ball flight analysis. Sensor-embedded baseballs now track crucial metrics like velocity, movement, and spin. Portable radar systems pair video with radar data provide instant performance feedback by overlaying information such as velocity and spin. Advanced technologies like TrackMan use enhanced radar and stereo camera systems to measure critical metrics, such as the precise release point of the ball from the pitcher's hand and the specific axis around which the ball is spinning.
Bat sensor technology has improved swing analysis, allowing baseball players to refine their technique with unparalleled precision. These sensors, attached to the bat, capture real-time swing data - speed, plane, tempo, and hand/arm path - for review on a companion app. This technology also eliminates the inefficiencies of traditional trial-and-error methods by offering analyzable feedback that helps batters pinpoint weaknesses and make improvements. Popular devices like the Diamond Kinetics SwingTracker create a unique "Swing Fingerprint," visually mapping a player's strengths and weaknesses.
Wearable tech, such as smartwatches and wristbands, have advanced monitoring of players' health and performance. These devices allow baseball players to track vital signs during practice and actual games. In games, trackers in these devices monitor physiological indicators, such as the player's pulse and muscle oxygen saturation, helping coaches assess fatigue levels and decide when to substitute them. Advanced wearables incorporating AI analytics offer real-time insights into performance and recovery.
Additionally, various aspects of the game benefit from analytical software. In scouting, statistical models evaluate top performers across multiple roles, helping coaches identify undervalued talent that traditional methods might overlook. Before games, coaches can use analytical insights to optimize strategies based on opponents' strengths and weaknesses. Even officiating has benefited - umpires now leverage technology-derived data to make more accurate ball and strike calls.
Virtual and augmented realities are increasingly finding their place in baseball, enhancing player training and fan experiences. Virtual reality (VR) systems create highly realistic simulations, allowing players to practice against various pitch types and movements in a controlled environment. For fans, particularly viewers at home, VR provides an intense, immersive first-person perspective rivaling the experience of being at a game. Meanwhile, augmented reality enhances fan engagement by overlaying player stats on fans' devices when pointed at the field, enriching their understanding and appreciation of the sport.
In baseball broadcasting, high-definition instant replays have enhanced the viewer experience. Besides multiple camera angles helping umpires review close calls, these replays offer fans diverse perspectives, building suspense and facilitating deeper analysis of key moments during the game.
Technological innovations extend beyond the baseball field into the stadium itself. High-capacity Wi-Fi networks keep fans connected, enabling live app usage and streaming replays. Ballpark-specific apps function as digital concierges, offering conveniences like mobile food ordering. Regarding sustainability, green roof systems, water harvesting systems, and solar panels in baseball stadiums ensure energy efficiency and reduce their environmental impact.

Dr. Kenyon Makes Calls On and Off the Field
As the director of NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Dr. Jimmy Kenyon is used to making important decisions at work. He also likes to call the shots on the baseball field as a volunteer umpire. In July, Kenyon packed up his gear and traveled to Ankeny, Iowa, as part of a four-man umpire crew […] from NASA https://ift.tt/RXFaI9E

[Description: A set of 6 digital drawings in a realistic style with watercolor style coloring, with emphasis on the warmth of skin. A majority of the pieces have a soft gradient background. Continued below the cut.
Image one: A redraw of JC Leyendecker's work, titled "Jason Robertson & Jake Oettinger for... arrow collars." The two Dallas Stars players are dressed sharply, Oettinger with an elbow propped up, cane in hand, as he looks up to Robertson, the two mid-conversation. The following paragraph is an advertisement.
The "Belmont" is the new style with the "Ara-Notch" [patented Aug. 3, 09] which eliminates the buttonhole that bothers. It cannot gape open, sag down, or work out of place. It is the easiest folded collar to put on & take off. / 15 cents each -- 2 for 25 cents (3 for 30 cents in Canada). / Arrow cuffs 25 cents a pair, / in Canada 35 cents a pair.
Image two: Jason Robertson with Jake Oettinger's blood running down his jaw and neck, a hand on Oettinger's chest. Jack Oettinger is on his back, bleeding from a bite on his neck.
Image three: Florida Panthers's Aleksander Barkov wearing a fishbowl helmet. He is rendered with realistic shading, while the clear plastic of his face protection is in stark white lines.
Image four: Seattle Mariner's Logan Gilbert and Cal Raleigh. They stand face to face, baseball mitts up to their mouths overlapping make a heart shape. Little blue hearts outline the shape of their mitts.
Image five: Jake Oettinger as a baseball umpire. He tips his helmet up over his face, his nails bright green. His outfit, black protective gear over a white jersey with green accents, is in the color of the Stars.
Image six: Dallas Stars's Mavrick Borque with cat ears standing at the bench for the anthem. He holds his stick straight, blade up, eyes off to over the horizon. His arm casts dark purple shadows down his jersey, his face in red shadows.

imagine mlbrry at one of the kids peewee baseball games and hes getting wayyy to into the game and yn is just like amused/embarrassed because hes the loudest dad there and the umpire threatens to kick him out because hes like heckling the other teams coach
Okay but this is deadass him. I also really love this blurb.
—
YN hated bringing Harry to the peewee kid games because of how invested he got into them as if they meant anything.
Most parents would be too busy watching him rather than their children because The Harry Styles is sitting in the bleachers.
He didn’t get to come to many games because of work but when he did, he was a bit too excited to see his children win.
It was a cool thursday night, still light out but getting darker, and it was Easton and Cash on the same team because they were close enough in age.
Ezra was asleep in his stroller, as his parents sat on the lowest row, and of course, Harry’s hand was a little too high up on his wife’s thigh to be appropriate.
When Cash comes up to bat with the little helmet nearly bobbling of his head, he pulls up his bat, and it didn’t surprise anyone how good his children were at such a young age.
When the opposing team coach throws a ball towards the child, Cash doesn’t swing, and the umpire calls strike.
Just like his dad, he squeals out, “That was a ball! That wasn’t a strike!”
YN rolls her eyes at her husband’s mini me as Harry claps loudly and says, “Tha’s right, Cash. That was a ball, ump needs to get new glasses!”
“Harry, shut up,” YN laughs with a hard elbow that only earns her a kiss on the cheek, “I really don’t need two of you.”
He whispers lowly in her ear, “Y’already got three of ‘em because you’re a good girl and let me put as many as I want in you.”
He was such a fucking menace, the same teenager she met how many years ago now?
When Cash hits a ground ball, Harry is out of his seat and clapping loudly, putting his fingers in his mouth, and whistling as he gets to first base.
“Atta boy, Cashy!” Harry praises loudly, uncaring of anyone who’s giving him a side-eye because he didn’t give one fuck.
YN had to admit it warmed her heart to see her husband so supportive of their little kids and what a good dad he is.
Easton is up after a few more kids, batting stance perfect as he swings fiercely at the ball, and the umpire calls a strike.
“S’okay, East! Y’got this, bub!” Harry encourages, now with a bubbly and very much awake Ezra in the crook of his arm.
“H, I gotta go feed him,” YN murmurs as their youngest starts to smack his puffy lips in search of his mum.
“Okay, baby. Want me t’come with you?” Harry offers, sweetly as ever as he shuffles the infant into her arms.
“I’m just goin’ to go in the car, please be good,” She warns, allowing one kiss before heading toward their massive SUV ***
Spoiler alert: he wasn’t.
Easton attempts to slide to third base, and is safe, but the ump calls it out because technically they’re not supposed to be sliding.
Harry is biting his tongue but when he sees his son pull of his helmet with tears in his eyes because he was proud of his slide.
Well, Harry goes into papa bear mode, “Oi! Y’callin’ him out because he knows how to play the game?”
“Sir, there is no sliding in peewee baseball,” The ref replies with annoyance.
“Y’let the kid from the other team do it!” He argues, standing up and crossing his arms.
“Must have not caught it.”
“Not caught it m’arse!” Harry scoffs, he sees Easton chuck his gear off and make his way to his father.
“I don’t want t’play anymore tonight,” He sniffles and tucks himself against his father’s thigh.
“I don’t blame y’East. Not when you got blind as a grandma umpires who don’t know how to play a game of baseball,” He agrees, hiking up the five year old with a kiss to his cheek.
Cash also toddles over with a glare at the refs.
God, they both have definitely watched way too many of Harry’s games because the crowd can tell how much they act like him.
The other parents in the crowd didn’t say anything because they were watching the best player in baseball history get mad over a peewee game and it was quite funny.
When Harry gathers up both of his boys, trotting off to the car with a sour expression, and buckling them in.
YN who’s still feeding Ezra, isn’t even surprised, and huffs out a sigh when Harry opens her door to smile softly at his hungry baby.
“Can we get ice cream, baby mama?” Harry asks with a kiss to her nose then lips. She can’t help but smile when the two little ones start chanting ice cream!
“I guess, only if y’good,” YN relents with a faux groan.
Harry steals another kiss, lingering, “I’ll be extra good for you tonight, mama.”

The Evolution of Referee Uniforms
Referee uniforms have undergone a significant transformation over the years, reflecting changes in sports culture, technology, and design preferences. This evolution not only mirrors the shifting landscape of sports but also highlights the importance of officiating in maintaining the integrity of the game.
1. Early Years:
In the early years of organized sports, referee attire was often informal and varied. Referees typically wore regular clothing, distinguishing themselves through simple accessories like whistles or caps. This era lacked standardized uniforms, leading to inconsistencies in the way officials presented themselves on the field.
2. Standardization and Professionalism:
As sports gained popularity and professionalism, there was a growing need for standardized referee uniforms. This led to the introduction of basic, consistent attire, usually comprising a shirt, trousers or shorts, and a whistle. The aim was to establish a clear visual distinction between players and officials.
3. Incorporation of Colors:
With the advent of television broadcasting, there was a push to enhance the visibility of referees on screen. This prompted the introduction of colored uniforms, such as black or bright hues, to ensure referees were easily identifiable during live broadcasts. The incorporation of colors also added a touch of professionalism to the officials' appearance.
4. Technological Advancements:
In recent years, advancements in fabric technology have played a role in refining referee uniforms. Materials that are lightweight, breathable, and moisture-wicking have become standard, providing comfort to officials during physically demanding matches. These technological upgrades contribute to the overall performance of referees.
5. Branding and Sponsorship:
As sports became big business, referee uniforms started to feature branding and sponsorship logos. This not only added a commercial aspect to the attire but also created a sense of unity between officials and the broader sports industry. The branding often extends to equipment like whistles and communication devices.
6. Integration of Technology:
Referee uniforms are now incorporating technology beyond just fabric advancements. Wearable technology, such as communication devices and body cameras, has become integral to officiating. This allows referees to communicate efficiently, review decisions, and enhance the overall accuracy of officiating.
7. Gender-Inclusive Designs:
In recent years, there has been a conscious effort to create gender-inclusive referee uniforms. Designs now consider the diversity of officials, offering options that cater to various body types and preferences. This shift promotes inclusivity and reflects a broader acknowledgement of diversity in sports officiating.
Conclusion:
The evolution of referee uniforms mirrors the dynamic nature of sports and the changing expectations within the industry. From the informal beginnings to the present era of technologically advanced referee attire, including official umpire gear, uniforms have become an essential element of the visual identity of sports. This evolution not only serves practical purposes but also highlights the significance of officiating in maintaining the fairness and integrity of sports on a global scale.

Could you do some headcannons or something with the damn polycule(including Gav) being dads? Like just being those cool dads that give their kids ice cream for breakfast or something?
If that’s too many people, or just a concept you aren’t for then you don’t have to! But I’d love to hear your thoughts on it :))
Anon you don’t ever have to worry about that being too many people, I’m always weak for the D.A.M.N polycule—
Also, I was gonna work on this later this week but I legit could not leave this thought alone. And it’s been a rough day and I decided something fluffy was needed. Thank you for this request! 💙
Listen. These kids are gonna be SO LOVED.
Like you cannot ask for a more wholesome family.
I just wanna say that when they brought their first kid home, Lasko held them very close and cried. All the boys are determined to make sure their kids have the best life, but him especially. He’s gonna make sure their children never have to go through what he did.
Freelancer convinced all of them to dress like dads the first time they all went out together. We’re talking denim shorts with the shirt tucked in, Nike monarchs, a belt—the whole thing. It was really a joke but Gavin took to it the most.
Gavin: I am what the humans call a dilf
Damien: please stop
Okay on to the actual request
Damien helps them with their homework. You know those memes about dads making their kids cry on math night?
Yeah, that doesn’t happen. Like at all. Damien’s the most patient person you could ask for when it comes to helping them with their work. If there’s something he doesn’t understand, he’ll stay up late after the kiddos go to bed, looking up better ways to help teach them on YouTube or something.
Eventually one of his partners has to come find him to get him to come to bed.
He and the kids have matching aprons for when they help him in the kitchen. On mornings where Damien makes breakfast for the rest of the family, the kids love to lend a hand.
Huxley’s usually the second one up and he always finds them making pancakes together in their aprons.
He has a picture of them cooking saved on his phone. He took it when Damien was busy helping one of the kids mix pancake batter in a bowl. Damien doesn’t know he has it :)
Lasko does Game Night with them. They all sprawl out in the living room and play board games at least once a week. He puts music on a Bluetooth speaker for background noise and lets them pick out a couple games.
There’s lots of snacks, of course.
The kids’ favorite game is Catan. They also like Uno. Lasko comes home at least once a month with a new edition of Uno. The family has a collection going and the kids are always ecstatic whenever he finds a new version.
They also build Legos together. Freelancer’s always coming home to him and the kids at the dining room table and with another Lego set. Lasko reads the instructions and guides the kids when they need it, but for the most part, they do a lot of it themselves. He’s always so proud of them.
Lasko takes them to the movies, too. The whole family does movies, but Lasko’s thing with the kids are the Marvel ones. They all go together to see them. It’s a tradition.
When the kids decide they want to get into sports, Huxley’s the dad for that. No surprise there. He takes them to the store to get all the equipment, he spends weekend afternoons with them at the park while they practice, and he brings the best snacks to all the games.
One of the kids ends up getting really into baseball. A couple of times, for whatever reason, the coaches couldn’t get an umpire. Huxley volunteers whenever it happens.
There’s lots of pictures on the family camera of him in the gear, out on the field. All the other moms love when the actual umpire doesn’t show and they need a stand-in. They might have crushes on him. Maybe.
In spring, he gardens. The kids have a little patch of land in the backyard. They visit every nursery and Lowe’s and Home Depot in Dahlia until the kids find exactly the right flowers to plant.
One of them planted sunflowers and they just took off. Huxley and the kids surprised Freelancer one morning with a bouquet of them.
Gavin joins the parent committee the school has.
When the kids do fundraisers, they always end up making the most money. Especially if it’s the door-to-door stuff. No one sells pies better than those kids, and the distractingly-gorgeous dad who goes with them.
Sunday mornings are for house cleaning. Gavin does a lot of stuff around the house since the others work. Sundays, though? It’s a group effort.
Gavin makes it fun. The others have found him dancing with the kids in the kitchen when they were supposed to be sweeping. He makes all the chores a game, and the house is clean in record-time.
He also likes to take them on walks. Gavin takes them to the same ice cream shop every time, and the owner is just a little in love with him. They get discounts.
(He’s the one that tries to sneak them ice cream for breakfast. Damien has to stop him every time, but he’s gotten good at sneaking them spoonfuls when Damien’s back is turned.)
Caelum absolutely adores the kids, by the way. He watches them whenever Freelancer and their partners go out for the night.
They adore him, too.
They spend a lot of time baking cookies together to surprise their parents, watching Disney movies, and coloring.
He lets them do his hair and makeup. By the end of the night when it’s time to put them to bed, Caelum’s hair is tied back into dozens of ponytails and he has glitter all over his face.
He loves it.

Tribe Nine progress report #00 (part 1)
Translations from the official Tribe Nine website, supplemented with things that were said on stream.
Character names are in Japanese order because that's how they're officially romanized.
Also, I'll be posting this in multiple parts because I reached the image limit on this post.
World
In the country of Neotokyo, year 20XX, youth with no hope for society's future form Tribes to find a place to call home.
With time, the disputes between Tribes continued to grow more and more violent. The situation was very intense in the eyes of the Neotokyo government, so they enforced the XB Law, which limited the quarrels between Tribes to only Extreme Baseball.
Pitch, bat, and trade blows. The youths were crazy over this radical pride-staking game.
XB (Extreme Baseball)
A duel method similar to baseball, designed to settle conflicts between Tribes. As determined by the XB Law, the loser must obey the winner's order(s).
Runners and the fielder with the ball can initiate battles with each other for the right to reach a base. The slugfests between players equipped with body-enhancing gear are XB's greatest trademark.
Rules
The games must be played late at night when there are no longer any onlookers.
The games will use the entire City as its field.
Batters are only out by tag out or by strike out.
There is no home run. In case of an extra-base hit, the runner(s) can run through the bases until they initiate a battle against the fielder with the ball.
A fielder with the ball is allowed to initiate a battle against a runner, staking the runner's right to reach a base.
Players can equip XB Gear to enhance their physical abilities.
Anything can be used as XB Gear, as long as it's approved by the Judge Robot acting as the umpire for the game.
The win condition is either scoring more points than the opposing team or knocking out the opponents in battle.
The winner can give any order to the loser.
Characters
[This section will have some character profiles for a few Tribes, but before that, I'll have to go over some elements that were only explained in a previous interview and in the stream. The game will contain 23 Tribes, each themed after one of the 23 wards of Tokyo. The names of the Tribes here all match the names of the wards they represent. Their base concepts will be all about local stereotypes, of course, but in the stream, Kodaka compared them to One Piece pirate crews in terms of how much individuality the characters will get within the team.]
Minato Tribe
A Tribe famed as the strongest in Neotokyo. They value the bonds between teammates and genuinely enjoy XB.
[The Minato ward is the ward where the Tokyo Tower (also called Minato Tower) is. Due to holding the symbol of the city, Kodaka chose it to be the ward of the anime's protagonist Tribe.]
Kamiya Shun (Leader)
CV: Akira Ishida
Birthday: February 22nd
Height: 179 cm
Weight: 65 kg
Voice sample 1: Let's enjoy one more game.
Voice sample 2: I'll show you how to topple the Minato Tower.
"What could be more exciting than XB?"
The founder and leader of the Minato Tribe, as well as the main reason why they're considered the strongest. He is one of the very few Beam Bat users. He's as top tier as you'd expect as a pitcher and batter, not to mention he's unmatched at a fistfight.
He enjoys unchallenged popularity on the XB field, but he also has a more goofy side. His antics include giving his teammate incomprehensible nicknames and getting hungover on coffee, among others.
Shirokane Haru
CV: Shun Horie
Birthday: January 20th
Height: 160 cm
Weight: 47 kg
Voice sample 1: My name is Haru. Shirokane Haru.
Voice sample 2: If I can really hit this swing...
"If I really have potential... I wanna give it a try!"
A timid bullied boy. He was getting into trouble with the town's delinquents as usual when Kamiya and Taiga saved him. He was bound by his own perceived uselessness, but Kamiya noticed his natural agility, wits, and keen eyes and he was invited to use these "weapons" of him for the Minato Tribe.
Taiga
CV: Chiharu Sawashiro
Birthday: October 10th
Height: 182 cm
Weight: 76 kg
Voice sample 1: I'll beat Kamiya Shun and become the best player!
Voice sample 2: The match only starts when you get to the batter's box.
You got nothing to worry about, you got me as the captain on this ride aboard the S.S. Big Ship Taiga, where S.S. stands for "safe and sound"!
A hot-blooded boy who came to Neotokyo from the other side of the ocean in pursuit of one dream: winning against the strongest man, Kamiya Shun! He joins the Minato Tribe along with Haru. He's a novice in XB and struggles to memorize the rules, but he keeps challenging his opponents with his dauntless courage and the brute strength he's so proud of.
Arisugawa Saori (Vice-Leader)
CV: Mai Fuchigami
Birthday: November 22nd
Height: 162 cm
Weight: 43 kg
Voice sample 1: The Minato Tribe never says no to anyone wanting to join or leave. You can stay as long as you want.
Voice sample 2: Raise your arm higher and put more strength into your swing.
There's no ball I can't catch!
The Minato Tribe's vice-leader. Despite her frail looks, she's an outstanding catcher, capable of stopping even Kamiya's blazing fastballs. She takes charge, commanding Minato's ensemble of oddballs since Kamiya is too careless to be a real leader.
No one values the members of Minato's team more than her, but she is extremely strict about rules and morals, never hesitating to unload a cartridge of her favorite airsoft gun on a transgressing teammate.
Mita Santarou
CV: Mutsumi Tamura
Birthday: March 30th
Height: 150 cm
Weight: 44 kg
Voice sample 1: I know talent when I see it.
Voice sample 2: The first thing rookies do is carry my stuff. That's the law of Minato.
T-those dudes are no match for me...! Ok, you guys go take them on!
A member of the Minato Tribe. He claims to be the ace of the team but is actually just a reserve pitcher. He's a pervert and a sleazeball and often gets punished by Arisugawa for it, but he shows no signs of wanting to fix his flaws.
He tends to abuse his seniority over the new members, but he's as caring and friendly as he is unreasonably bossy.
Daimon Manami
CV: Fukushi Ochiai
Birthday: July 20th
Height: 191 cm
Weight: 180 kg
Voice sample 1: I accept all forms of gratitude and cake.
Voice sample 2: You gotta swing hard but without straining yourself.
Don't forget to eat well before a game of XB.
A member of the Minato Tribe. He's always supporting the other members with his gentle personality and great cooking. Minato's base of operation is Lovely Ocean, a restaurant he runs.
Despite his usual calm, no one can stop him when he snaps.
[Translation note: Manami means "lovely ocean"]
Aoyama Kazuki
CV: Shouya Chiba
Birthday: May 18th
Height: 174 cm
Weight: 57 kg
Voice sample 1: Huhu, even if I can't use my left arm anymore, my brain is still much better than yours, stupid people.
Voice sample 2: Timing is essential in our next strategy, I'll be giving the commands. It'd be easier for all of you since you won't have to think.
"You'll be my pawns."
A mysterious boy who suddenly appeared asking to join the Minato Tribe. He can't properly play XB because his left hand is injured. But for unknown reasons, he's very knowledgeable about XB tactics and how to handle a Beam Bat and makes full use of his ingenuity to bring victory to Minato.
He seems to have some kind of goal in approaching the Minato Tribe, but what could it be?
Chiyoda Tribe
A tribe under the patronage of the king of Neotokyo. They have been suppressing many other Tribes all over the country to ostentate their power.
[Chiyoda is the ward where the Palace is, so the Chiyoda Tribe are the guys with political power]
Ootori Oujirou (Leader)
CV: Jun'ichi Suwabe
Birthday: September 26th
Height: 192 cm
Weight: 78 kg
Voice sample 1: Can you entertain me, even a little?
Voice sample 2: A game needs blood. In eras where giants clash, the people are waiting for battles that spray blood and shatter bone.
"Winning is everything. There is nothing else I need."
The leader of the Chiyoda Tribe, and heir to Ootori Tenshin, the king of Neotokyo. Tenshin trained him since he was a child to be the strongest XB player.
He challenges teams all over Neotokyo to prove he is the best.
Ootori Tenshin (King of Neotokyo)
CV: Hiroshi Naka
Birthday: January 31st
Height: 177 cm
Weight: 51 kg
Voice sample 1: None is allowed to disobey the Ootori family! It's the masses to duty to kneel before me. Am I wrong?
Voice sample 2: Every single one of those so-called big shots sullying my Chiyoda must be exterminated! Go show them the power of the Ootori family!
"Through XB, you must show that that the power of the Ootori family is absolute!"
The king of Neotokyo. He's strongly obsessed with XB, to the point he trained his heir Oujirou since childhood to be the best player.
After that, he founded the Chiyoda Tribe with Oujirou as the leader.
He aims to trample all Tribes in the country in XB to ostentate the strength of the Ootori family.
CV: Mikako Komatsu
Birthday: March 15th
Height: 170 cm

"Only death awaits the enemies of the Ootori family."
Ootori Tenshin's secretary. To the public, she's nothing more than a modest secretary, but her secret is that she's a cold-blooded agent, capable of doing anything for the sake of the Ootori family.
Countless people who criticized or plotted to opposed the Ootori family's plans may or may not have been to their grave by her hand.

Blues headcanons? Why not.
Bubbles "I can change him" Utonium & Boomer "Jekyll & Hyde" Jojo
On a serious note, Boomer really does have the best intentions but hes very easily distracted and lured away into causing mayhem
"I swear, I didn't forget about our date. I was on my way to pick you up but there was this street fight... How could I not join in?! It was an easy victory."
Bubbles goes around town with Boomer's picture threatening people not to encourage Boomer's crime habits
No one knows if they're more terrified of the blue puff or the boy brought back to life by Him
Boomer is a pretty boy and so he knows how to charm the people. All the people. It's scary how easily he can win people over
He's known to be a flirt. But then again, so is Bubbles so they're cool with this. They know it's meaningless flirting
The pretty boy act worked when Bubbles and Boomer were in their "talking" stage
Bubbles stopped falling for it when he ended up with a black eye, missing tooth, and charged with a couple grand of property damage
Like all couples, they argue and need their space. But for these two, that means staring at their phones until someone caves
They typically alternate in caving in
Boomer commits petty crimes to get her attention if he feels really bad about their argument... This rarely goes over well
They go to baseball games together but after Bubbles' rant at one of the umpires for a bad call, they were sorta banned
They actually play baseball together and have matching gear
However after a home run caused a meteor to explode and shower Townsville (only Townsville) in a molten rock hail storm, the Blues were ordered to never play baseball anywhere near civilization again
Boomer is Bubbles' dress up doll- thankfully, he already has a good sense of style.
P.s. He does not appreciate her messing his hair up with her glitter gel
PPS- low-key he knows he looks great with it. The glitter is just very messy and takes forever to wash out
Boomer will not admit it but he needs to be the little spoon every once in a while
At this point, Bubbles has his cycle tracked on her phone. Boomer tends to get into more trouble when he needs a little spoon cuddle session
Boomer has a Bubbles' phone charm attached to his phone case
Boomer keeps all the artwork Bubbles gives him. It's literally the only thing he keeps organized.
Bubbles keeps every love note Boomer writes her. They're really short and simple but she's got a journal full of them
I'm on a blues kick mentally and in my Google docs too... Realizing this is more boomer oriented 😅
#powerpuff girls#ppg#rowdyruff boys#rrb boomer#ppg bubbles#i love the blues#they have great potential but its so hard not to fall into similar fanon ideas#its because theyre the cutest couple

@deputyfangs confessed: 05. a peek inside their CLOSET & 10. a peek inside their PANTRY.
from: “ a peek inside... ” | no longer accepting
CLOSET DRESSER — there is no traditional closet to be found in the walls of the small rectory, nor does the occupant’s wardrobe demand one. a wide six-drawer grain wood dresser will do, with brass handles and a smart dark stain to match the bed frame. a simple organization system is kept : one drawer for underwear ( socks, t-shirts, boxers and briefs all included ). another for lighter-weight cotton dress shirts, and even a few collared short-sleeves and polos. pants ( slacks, jeans, and the belts to match ) are at last neatly folded and piled into the bottom-left drawer. the first two compartments on the right side are dedicated to an array of thermals, sweaters, cardigans and light jackets, even a few heavy flannels. the bottom-right drawer is a sort of catch-all drawer for items used infrequently --- memento tourist-trap shirts from his travels in college and divinity school, his old college baseball uniform for the Columbia Lions, gag shirt gifts from his sisters and the like. otherwise, the wardrobe is a sea of dark and muted colors, a monochrome gradient that slowly ventures into blues and greens, even the odd crimson if he’s feeling a little more daring. but nothing ostentatious. his tastes are simple.
other clothing necessities are not found inside the drawer, but placed around the rest of the rectory. shoes and a pair of old wool slippers kept near the foot of the double-wide bed ( those boots that are muddied and yet to be scrubbed clean are left out on the porch ). his hat, heavier black coats, and a couple scarves ( knitted and gifted to him by Millie, of course ) hang from the rack by the main entryway. baseball gear is hung from a shelf by the bedroom doorway --- a Yankees ball cap. an umpire mask dating to the 50s. a mesh net filled with spare balls. polished wooden bats, resting upon the shelf. and an aged pitcher’s glove, given to him by his father when he made varsity in high school, kept in good condition even despite the decades of use. he takes great care of it, which is just as well - he refuses to ever pitch without it.
holy vestments ( chasubles, robes, and cassocks alike ) are stored in the church sacristy, of course.
additional items of note are perched atop the dresser : an ever-revolving collection of the novels he’s currently renting from the mainland library, always including a copy of whatever he and Missus Gunning are reading for their weekly book club for two. a single beeswax candle mounted on a brass chamber stick. a thin family photo album. a small wooden box with a gold latch, filled with more personal memories from his childhood and up into his years at divinity school --- mostly photos with family and friends. little keepsakes from his travels abroad. and a few collector’s rosaries and glass vials of holy water, blessed by Pope while visiting the Vatican. finally, there’s a Smith-Corona Brand electric typewriter. the SuperCorrect Electra model dates back to the mid-1980s. it is the most recent piece of technology he owns.
PANTRY — a full kitchen pantry is just as important as a well-stocked fridge, especially for a single man with twice the appetite of most of his married neighbors. of course, there’s the cookware : a couple stainless steel pots and pans, but he’s partial to cast iron and copper, reflected by the vast majority of his modest collection. some piled on shelves, others hung from the hooks he installed on the inside of the cabinet doors. a couple are a bit off-center, a little crooked if you squint. another keeps colliding with the edge of the shelf, the cabinet now always propped ever so slightly ajar.
one of the shelves is home to the many mason jars and plastic tubs he calls tupperware. those currently not in use are stacked in a nesting-doll-fashion, largest to smallest. another holds his plates, bowls, cups, glasses. a full set each. he might not need many himself, but there’s many a time he’s hosted guests for lunch or dinner, both expected and unexpected. it’s sinful, after all, to allow anyone to leave the home hungry. and yet another shelf holds the rest of his mug and kettle collection that isn’t displayed around the counter, and a 1971 vintage 3.5 qt. Rival-brand crock-pot, in the shade of avocado green. a gift from his mother --- he didn’t ask for it, but with how busy her son gets she insisted on purchasing one and bringing it to him on a visit. a handy thing really, even if he often fights to find the time to cook. on a slow and sleepy island, there are still days where “setting it and forgetting it” comes in handy.
the stock of food continues to reflect the family traditions, just as the refrigerator does. tastes acquired, ingredients considered staple. lidded jars of arborio rice, lentils, cannellini beans, and cornmeal ( coarsely ground, the polenta is never firm enough otherwise ) are never allowed to fall below half-way full. tucked behind them are the containers of various dried mushrooms, to be kept in the cool and dark corners of the cabinet, able to be hydrated in a pinch. when one thinks they purchased enough mushrooms for the sauce, that’s when one needs more. the shelf of wine is split by the half - the left holds those bottles for social drinking, some store-bought but the greater majority home-distilled from the vines in the garden. those on the right are reserved for cooking ( or to be sipped upon by the chef ) - vermouth, marsala, madeira, and a variety of the drier whites and reds that add depth to a stew lacking a proper recipe. the liquors form the barrier between both sides. grappa. limoncello. a bottle each of his favorite tequila and gin. and the remaining unopened stock of olives and peperoncini.
there are bundles of fresh herbs, garlic bulbs, onions, shallots, and a full rope of calabrian chilis spanning the length one of one cabinet door. there are various Campbell’s canned soups can be used as a dish foundation, or as a quick read-to-heat meal if he’s really pressed for time. there’s flour. sugar. baking soda and powder. there’s bouillon cubes. chicken and beef stock. there are cans of San Marzano tomatoes, whole and peeled, the only respectable base for any red sauce. there are storage pillars of coffee and espresso beans, now in need of a refill after a busy week. stacked tins of various teas. a manual coffee grinder. and the last item of note is a sewing tin, home to the pizzicati, cioffee, and various biscotti sent to him by his Zias on a near-monthly basis. even from miles away, they’re hellbent on overfeeding him.
#deputyfangs#study.#truly no need for me to make these as long as they are i'm just havin fun. and i love that for me.
