Mlp the next generation

Decided to hop on the trend a while back of making mlp fan kids, the original base and the link will be posted below along with original designs

In order of appearance we have

Cupcake Pie-Sandwich the youngest daughter of Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich

Carmela Apple- Daughter of Applejack and Rarity

Static Storm- Son of Rainbow Dash and Soarin

Comet Shard- Son of Twilight Sparkle and Prince Blueblood (was given up for adoption by Twilight an hour after being born, Blueblood doesn't know he has a son, Comet doesn't know he's royalty, is a unicorn)

Dusty Moore- Son of Fluttershy and Discord (Discord turned him into a batpony to revive him from being a still born since he and Fluttershy had been desperately trying for a child)

Star Seer Apple- Son of Applejack and Rarity and Carmela's twin (was found abandoned outside the Ponyville hospital at only an hour old, Applejack and Rarity agreed to foster him until his birth mother was found, she never was, the Apple family decided to adopt the young zebra and consider him Carmella's twin since they share a birthday)

All six ponies share a birthday, they think it's a coincidence, but in reality it's destiny

Rintaro presses a kiss on your cheek, only to reel back as you give him a whine of annoyance, almost as if you’d burned him. “Baaaaaabuhhhh!”

“….what?”

You wipe off his kiss, and you try your best not to laugh at the offended noise and look he gives you, “I just did my skincare! Don’t kiss me with those… things.”

“These things?” He repeats, pointing at his lips. “The things we call lips? The lips that kiss you, love you, flirt with you, those lips?”

“Yes!” You scoff. “They’re dirty, don’t kiss me with them.”

His brows are pinched so deep in the middle of his forehead that you’re almost convinced he’s going to give himself a headache, and you shake your head as you make a move to reapply your moisturizer. “Uhm, I just brushed, flossed, and gargled, these lips have never been cleaner!”

“They’re man lips,” you huff, crossing your arms. Now, he’s fully upset. “They’re dirty because you’re a sport man who plays sports and you’re a man.”

“While your logic is not objectively wrong, I still don’t appreciate the slander, or, you wiping off my kisses!”

“You can kiss me on my lips before my lip balm, but you need to move fast,” you say firmly, only for him to once again jerk back in confusion.

“But!”

“Hurry,” you say, grabbing your lip balm. “You’d better pick quick.”

“But- but babe!”

“Now!”

“But!” He leans forwards to press a kiss to your lips, stealing the kiss he desperately wanted but is still pouting about afterwards, “so what, now I’ve got to schedule my kisses with you?”

You slowly turn to face him, quirking your brow, “oh, so, do you not want an appointment for tomorrow? Because I can make that happen.”

“I do!” He whines. “But I don’t want to have to pencil in my kissing times-“

“Well, the spots are filling up fast, so you’d better get on it.”

“BY WHO?!”

Music inspiration: A Little Death by The Neighbourhood

Mane six redesigns

So I decided to redesign the mane six. I do like their original designs but I thought this would an interesting project since I've seen a lot of other people redesign them. So I figured I'd try my hand at it. I did use a base in order to get the posing just right and to, for the most part, line up with the show's style. I had a lot of fun with this all in all. I will be including the link to the base I used at the bottom of the post.

As for the actual designs Twilight was the easiest to work with while Rarity was the hardest. All in All I had the most trouble with redesigning Pinkie's cutie mark which really surprised me.

Fluttershy is a sorrel tovero paint mare also her wings when unfolded look like bat wings since she has a little bat pony in her which is why she doesn't fly too often she was bullied because of her appearance. It's also a nod to Flutterbat

Applejack is a clydesdale since it makes sense for her family to be working horses. Also her having short hair works really well for her

Pinkie Pie is like a quarter or maybe 3/4 zebra. I also based her pink tones on pink topaz and rose quartz gemstones to match her family. Also Pinkie's pink tones come from Grandma Pie which is why she's different from the rest of her family

Twilight has a lioness tail, a wing gradient that matches her mane and I leaned into the dusk/literal twilight theme in her name along with the sparkle part with the little star markings in her coat

Rarity lives up to her name more fittingly. Rarity surprisingly enough gave me the most trouble. I knew I wanted to bring back her whole punk style but I also wanted her to look more unique so I added the black markings and black dapple into her coat.

Rainbow Dash is actually based on a stormy sky with her darker color pallet. The green comes from how the clouds turn green during a tornado, the blue markings are from how the sky starts turning gray when a storm starts up and her mane and tail were based on lightning strikes. Her wing gradient was actually based on a rainbow macaw as well.

I also adjusted their eye colors to make them separate from each other because Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy's eye colors were a little too similar to each other so I played around a bit until I got something I liked while still keeping in range of their original eye colors.

I kept their special talents pretty much the same with some clarification on what their talents actually are.
