sims 3 barbie legacy challenge

this is pretty much a conversation from the sims 4 barbie legacy challenge by @sims-himbo but i did change up some of the generations as well just to use more features from ts3 that arent in ts4 as add some extra optional ones for occult/supernatural players

mods i recommend downloading

• nraas porter (for moving towns without traveler file bloat)

• nraas master controller

• family secrets (in case you wanna add drama)

rules

• all heirs must be female and named barbie

• you can use money cheats just starting out but nothing after that

• do not sell the future portal that is summoned when you first start a save, to get rid of it “testingcheatsenabled true > shift click > delete” no free money here

gen one: housewife barbie

• complete the surrounded by family lifetime wish

• you must never get a job, earn money through opportunities, painting, playing the guitar for tips, etc

• have at least one pet

• must have the family oriented and nurturing traits

gen two: business barbie

• complete the ceo of a mega corporation lifetime wish

• be worth at least 50k simeoleans

• master logic and charisma skills

• must have ambitious and born saleswoman traits

gen three: equestrian barbie

• complete the ark builder aspiration

• dont have an actual job and make money through horse riding competitions

• all of your children must have a small pet of their own (by small i mean snake, lizard, turtle, etc)

• must have the equestrian trait

gen four: sea pearl barbie

• move to isla paradiso

• become a mermaid

• master the grand explorer lifetime wish

• live on a houseboat

• master the scuba diving and logic skills

• must have the loves to swim trait

• complete the professional author lifetime wish

Barbie Legacy Challenge

Hey peoples!! I wanted to have another go at a legacy challenge and wanted to give the Barbie one by @sims-himbo a try! Go check out their page for the rules! So, lets meet our first Barbie!

Barbie La Land has decided to settle down in Oasis Springs, she wants a fresh start to find someone to have a family with. Unfortunately her ex wasn't Kenough. Barbie is clumsy, family oriented, a homebody and housewife and also hot and lactose intolerant (yet she insists on eating dairy).

Of course, what Barbie would be complete without her dream house?

I had the idea to play @sims-himbo's Barbie Legacy Challenge (after watching @vixellacc's YT series) but as a mini-Decades challenge. 50's era Barbie is iconic. I'm so happy with how she turned out!

☕🍦Me Espresso Barbie🍦☕

So I'm obsessed with 'Espresso' by Sabrina Carpenter, and I've been watching both Vixella and Kelsey Impicciche play the Barbie Legacy and I was really inspired to make a sim similar to that! She's not a Barbie for a specific gen of that challenge, I just wanted to make a sim like this and share her!

My Barbie loves dancing, Sulani vacations, and the spa! Her aspiration is Inner Peace, and her traits are High Maintenance, Family-Oriented, and Dance Machine.

Barbie Legacy Episode 1

Barbie was so excited to start this new chapter in her life. She had moved away from her family to try and find her own way. Her goal in life was to have a beautiful family, so she really needed to find someone to achieve that dream with. She decided the best way for her to meet somebody without any real connections in town was to try a dating app…

B: “Oh boy, here we go. My parents would be so disappointed if they saw me looking for my future husband online. No time like the present!”

Barbie starts swiping when she suddenly comes across a Very handsome man named June Yokoyama. He looks familiar, as in she knows his face but can’t think of where she knows him from. She swiped yes and it is an instant match!! 

~ their first date is at the spice festival~

June: “Yea this one time I wanted to compliment the head cheerleader of my class, she was so beautiful. I really wanted to ask her to prom, but we’d spoken less than 50 words our whole highschool career, I counted! I worked up the nerve though, and was approaching her to ask when one of her friends tripped me. They all laughed at me, but the head cheerleader, she looked so sad.” 

June has a look of wonder on his face, and maybe a hint of…joy?

Barbie can’t understand why June would recall that memory and then it starts to click…

Highschool, she was head of cheer. She was generally nice to everyone but there was this one nerd that almost always wore Batman clothes, always bad acne though…Oh, shit.

Barbie could feel her cheeks getting red and her palms were sweaty, she knows June!! He was that nerd!!

B: “I-I’m so sorry June but, I need to go.”

With that she flees their first date. Leaving June quite sad, but also maybe hopeful there will be another time to recover their lost years? 😭

His friend Garrett on the other hand has some not so encouraging thoughts to share with June. 🤬

G: “June, you could do so much better! She just ran away from your first date!! She doesn’t care about you!!”

J: “Garrett just chill, that was probably a really tough realization for her. She’s changed, became more humble and kind. I still really like her.”

Garrett rolls his eyes and huffs 😒
