Banarby the Demon Moth

Barnaby is a demon who is able to hypnotize people into worshipping him by using the four tendrils on his back to release a hypnotic gas. He stands at 7 feet tall.

his wings are very large, and he often wraps them around his own body like a cloak. They are also very strong and durable.

He has an obsession with lamps and likes to collect them. The people who he’s hypnotized bring new lamps to him as offerings.

Unfortunately, his hyperfixation causes him to often be outcasted by other demons. He is lonely, but finds company in his followers.

His design is based off of the Baphomet moth.

Someone on reddit pointed out that the Nameless Moon Presence looks like the Australian Horror Moth or baphomet moth and Christ. I cannot unsee it (the tails at least).

From what I've read, in order for the males to produce these tails, they have to eat toxin of this plant as a caterpillar. Normally this toxin is powerful enough to make a cow sick (the plant overcompensates by making more if the moth larvae eat it) but the moths need it to become sexually mature. Adult males use this to produce pheromones to attract female moths.

Now if we're to apply this to the Moon Presence, I'm guessing here the Moon Presence beckons Hunters with the lure of Paleblood or ascension. Only with Flora, she makes you her pet/baby surrogate :).

this may be seen as a suggestion over a request... but would you make florauna terms using your moth presentation label system? 👀👀👀

hmmm...!! i could look into it! it is a little tough finding moths that fit my weird qualifications for the system but it would definitely be fun to make more.....
