It’s the biggest night of the year for Stiles, a partner strip . . With Derek. They have a planned routine and it’s hot, but while on stage, they go a little off track. The crowd doesn’t seem to mind, and neither do they.

Stiles huffed and muttered, “This doesn’t feel emasculating at all.” Under his breath, but put himself in position in front of Derek as asked. He squinted when he saw Derek trying to hold off a grin from his reflection in the mirror. “You’re an asshole.” Stiles told him and Derek gave up all pretences, grinning widely at him. ]

Merlin/Arthur Pendragon - Arthur finds out about Merlin’s magic and banishes him from his kingdom. Years later, Arthur is in trouble and needs to find the sorcerer Emrys to help save him. Merlin is living as a physician in a Druid settlement/camp and is an older, hotter, powerful sorcerer. Merlin grudgingly helps Arthur and old feelings reemerge. 

Stiles Stilinski/Derek Hale - Stiles comes back to Beacon hills with 2 yr old twins, Derek works as a deputy. 

Alina Starkov/Malyen Oretsev- after the war in the orphanage being visited by their friends.  Alina paints on the walls and all the kids love them. There is one baby that was left at the orphanage that is really cute and hangs off the hips of Alina and Mal. Possibly 5+ times old friends visited them. 

Stiles Stilinski/Derek Hale- Stiles is a classically trained ballet dancer. Nobody in the Pack except Scott knows about him being a dancer. One day one of Stiles dancer friends who are also friends with Scott sends Scott a video of Stiles doing something cool dance wise, like a cool routine or tons of pirouettes. The Packs sees. 

Stiles Stilinski/Derek Hale- Stiles is a student at Brakebills University, he has drifted away from the pack and one day the Hale pack is being taken on a tour of campus, they come across Stiles being cool

Stiles Stilinski/Derek Hale- Stiles is a S.H.I.E.L.D agent. He was recruited while in Berkley after hacking into the pentagram or something. The agents have to investigate a supernatural/extraterrestrial/criminal occurrence in Beacon Hills. The Hale/McCall Pack own/work at a diner called Hale’s Diner (or something more cool.) Stiles pulls up to the diner on a Motorbike and does the slow-motion take-off-helmet-and-gloves-hair-flip-cards-his-fingers-through-his-hair-move and the entire pack watch and drool. A fancy car pulls up next to Stiles with two of his agent friends in it. There is also a scene where the Beacon Hills Deputies are at a crime scene, Scott’s FBI dad turns up and goes “I have jurisdiction” and Stiles and his agent buddies turn up and go “Actually I outrank both of you” or something along those lines.

New York City, a place you can get lost in, where becoming someone new is something as easy as breathing. The lights and the sounds, it was somewhere she couldn't go as a child, but now Erica was able to live and work there. Going by Jessie, she packed up her bag and headed toward the showers. She had wanted to go back to Beacon Hills, but it had seemed everything was normal, and peaceful for her past pack. She didn't want to mess that up, didn't want to bring those feelings back for them.

So despite everything, she packed what she could and left for New York. Finding someone to change her name and documents had been easy once she knew where to look & who to pay. That's how she got into a performing arts group, that would provide dancers for all type of shows, from Broadway to ballets. She had been in a good few. She wasn't extremely popular, but her name had been on posters and under important parts. She had just finished a show, and heading toward her place, bun still tight on the top of her head, as she picked up a scent. It stopped her in her tracks. No way. No possible way.

Stiles is auditioning because it seemed like a fun thing to do with Scott on a Saturday morning, and maybe he'd get to dance with Comfort, his favorite female hip hop dancer. I can't take ballet dancer Derek in Canon of my mind so I came with some headcanons. He started really young but at first because of Laura, she need someone to dance with her. Derek ends up really loving it even if for a couple of years he doesn't admit because you know, teenagers. After the fire, he reatrets for a while thinking he doesn't deserve the joy and peace that dancing bring to him. But Laura insist and they are both traumatized and can't talk about it but they bond with ballet...

After Laura death, he is kinda busy trying to survive and make those dumb teenagers survive too. But as soon as he can he pours himself at ballet, it’s calming, it’s center him and it his way to honoring Laura and still wanting to live. Also, the discipline and everything of ballet makes him a better alpha and better at training his pack. (No trua alpha bs here).

Derek isn’t ashamed of ballet but he is private about it so no one on the pack knows. Stiles is the first do find out and he was already in a crisis of am I bi? And it make worse. He knew that Derek was attractive but this is another level. Derek is training in ruins by this point and Stiles came in the situation and pushes him to build a home for the pack and a studio for him. Bonding ensues and lots of pining too.

Of course Stiles didn't know how to dance.He just began to follow Derek when some night when he took to much Aderall he coudn't sleep and fell in a youtube spiral.But months after he was following him in every social media possible and now he could see him in real life!

Pirouettes and Practice Peeks

Written for @sterekweek2019​ Day 2 : Lyrics & Quotes - a little loosely interpreted!^^ Please enjoy 900 words of awkward Derek and pure fluff!

Derek only sees him for a minute or so each week. 

His bus home stops across from a dance studio and on Wednesdays Derek makes sure to sit on the right side of the bus. With the darkness coming earlier every day, it’s easy to see into the studio, as brightly lit as it is. Most afternoons and evenings are filled with dance classes, everything from baby and daddy dancing to awkward teenagers learning how to waltz to zumba for grandmas. 

But on Wednesdays, there’s just him.

Derek doesn’t know his name, barely even knows his face, but he knows how his body moves to music Derek can’t hear. The most fascinating thing though is that Derek can’t tell which style he trains for. One week it’s ballet, the next something closer to Jazz dance, then he’s joined by a strawberry blonde woman for some ballroom dance. One night Derek is pretty sure he recognises the dance routine from Flashdance, only to choke on his own spit when the next week gifts him with a kilt, flying up tantalisingly high on every jump. 

When the bus doesn’t stop to drop someone off, Derek sometimes only catches a mere glimpse of the dancer, a pose held for the few seconds he sees him, a pirouette so quick he blurs in front of Derek’s eyes. Those evenings make him seem even more like a dream, a vision disappearing as quickly as it appears. 

Derek wouldn’t ever admit it, and Laura can certainly never know, but he times his bus ride home on Wednesdays for those fleeting glimpses. Which is why he’s very disappointed when one Wednesday in mid December a meeting runs late and makes him miss his usual bus. 

The later bus is far emptier than his usual one, so there’s no shortage of free spaces, but Derek still automatically sits down on the right side of the bus, at the window, even though he knows there’s no point now. The dancer is probably long gone now. 

Indeed, when the bus stops, the dance studio is dark, the light from the street lamp reflected in its empty window. Derek had known that would be the case, but he still feels a sharp sting of disappointment. 

“I haven’t seen you before, are you new?”

The voice makes Derek look up slowly and brings him face to face with who must be his dancer. Up close, the guy is almost absurdly pretty, big amber eyes crowned by long, dark lashes, pink, plump lips that are pulled up in a smile that reveals teeth shining brighter against the contrast of the dark flush on his cheeks. For a moment Derek thinks he has fallen asleep and is dreaming on the bus. 

“But I have seen you,” he replies dumbly and dancer guy’s smile brightens even more.

“Oh cool! Where?”

“Here,” Derek says and then corrects himself when dancer guy’s eyebrows furrow: “I mean, in the studio. When the bus stops.” Dancer guy’s frown deepens and Derek hurriedly adds: “I’m not a stalker, though, I promise! I just like your dancing! And I’ve never gotten off the bus, just watched you on our way past. I don’t even know your name!”

Dancer guy studies him for a moment, expression unreadable and then says: 

“I’m Stiles. It’s nice to meet you, not-Stalker.”

He stretches out a hand and Derek, overwhelmed with the events of tonight, first has to fumble around with his phone, almost dropping it in the process, before he can manage to grasp it.

“Derek,” he replies. “Derek Hale. I work a little further into town and really do need to take this bus, I promise.”

“I believe you,” Stiles reassures him and after a brief moment of hesitation he seems to come to a decision and adds: “If you’d like to catch more than a few seconds of my dancing, we’re doing a production in the City Hall Friday night. Eight pm. There’ll be a ticket for you at the door if you want one, Derek Hale. And perhaps afterwards you can tell me what you liked about my dancing over a drink or two.”

And with that he gets up and starts making his way towards the front of the bus, which has stopped again without Derek even noticing. As it is, Stiles is almost out of the door already before Derek finds his voice again and calls out: “I’ll be there!”

He isn’t sure Stiles has even heard him anymore, the doors closing before Derek’s last word has fully formed, but then he sees Stiles jump into a twirling pirouette, ending it with a bow and a wave towards Derek, who waves back, but forgoes the pirouette for now.

“City Hall, Friday night, eight pm,” he whispers to himself and tries not to grin too widely.

He has no idea what awaits him there - judging by Stiles’ practices, it might as well be Swanlake as Step up, but that doesn’t even matter. He’s going to see Stiles dance in two days time, really properly dance, not just sneak a peek at a practice.

And he has a date afterwards!

Potentially he’s even more excited about that. Not yet excited enough to try a pirouette though. He’ll leave that to Stiles.

Can’t miss his date because of a broken leg, can he?

Oh god, he has a date with dancer guy! Whom he sort of maybe slight stalked!

If this goes anywhere, they are going to have to come up with a different cover story, because Laura can never, ever know about this.

1. What's something you've written that you know is OOC and you just don't care?

Oof, I don’t know if I have any. I try really, really hard to keep everyone in character at all times, haha. It’s one of my biggest pet peeves. I stress over dialogue and actions because if I can’t see the character saying it in my head I have to change it. 

Probably some side characters I’ve made OOC. Like Bran and Rickon, idk. I can’t be bothered with going back and rewatching their scenes to try to make them realistic 😂

OH you know what, I know. In my unfinished ice dancing au that I will post SOMEDAY, it’s completely OOC that Stiles is graceful enough to be an Olympic ice dancer. But without that there’s no plot so too bad 😂

3. Something you wish a commenter had called attention to, but got ignored.

Okay there is ONE word I added into a sentence in chapter 7 part 2 of wtwta that completely changed the meaning of a thought Dany had and actually gave a ton of insight into her backstory. I was waiting for someone to catch it and then no one did 😂😂 (but also that chapter was about 25k long, so I can’t blame them.)

15.  We all project onto our characters. Where has your personality or life choices leaked onto the page the most?

I draw a lot of inspiration from things around me in real life-- ballet for Pas de Deux, viral dogs on instagram for WTWTA, the Jonas Brothers for BICBTY. I’ll see something dumb and get inspired by it. I’ll also be in places and then scenes set in those same places will come to me-- like Dany walking home through the park in chapter 4 (I think it’s chapter 4) of WTWTA, that happened because I was strolling through Boston Common with my friends one day. I find a lot of inspiration in stupid little moments like that and work them into my stories.
