he’s a cold man, with an icy stare and a fiery temper that is set off at the drop of a hat. the high lord katsuki has a reputation for being harsh on his peers and servants alike, though he has enough political sense to keep the peace.

he’s from an important family, born and bred with a silver spoon in his mouth and taught all of the niceties of good society. katsuki has read all of the classics and, in addition to an impressive family home (which he manages along with familial business), he has an extensive library, which he visits frequently.

you are low-born, only granted to opportunity of reading because your father taught you before he passed away. you’d been forced to find work when he passed and, by some stroke of luck, someone in the kitchens was willing to take you in and have you keep inventory for a small monthly salary. reading and writing comes in handy for that.

you consider yourself unlucky, however, at being noticed by katsuki’s first officer and personal attendant, kirishima, who happens to be of common birth with a position that should belong to a noble and thus, outranks you. well, just about everyone our ranks you. it’s him who recommends you for the “promotion” and lands you in katsuki’s personal office in the main house.

“my lord,” he says, stepping into the room with the comfort only a noble could have. “i’ve brought them.”

“who?” katsuki doesn’t raise his head. his voice is low and gravelly.

“the new serving staff, my lord,” he states. “the one from the kitchen inventory.”

katsuki looks up at this, his gaze unimpressed and unyielding. he looks you over for a moment, staring as if to size you up.

oh, he’s beautiful. it’s shameful thing to think of such a harsh man, but it’s the truth. he almost looks like a painting, with hard set eyes and round lips. you’d expected someone frightening, with harsh features and sharp, cutting proportions befitting of a man with rumors like the ones surrounding him. instead, the man who sits before you seems a prince with a slightly colder gaze. you suppose that his beauty is drowned out by the other rumors surrounding him.

“you said they could read?” katsuki snaps.

“yes, my lord,” he responds.

katsuki doesn’t comment on this, instead, he shifts his gaze to you and harshly barks a question.

“you’re willing to work?”

what does that matter? you don’t have much of a choice.

“yes, my lord.”

“very good,” katsuki says. “kirishima, see her to her quarters.”

kirishima excuses himself and you bow deeply and do the same. katsuki’s gaze lingers on you for a moment as you bow. it is so intense that you can almost feel the moment he tears it from you and returns to pouring over the papers in front of him. he does not look up again as you shut the door.

katsuki gives the impression that he is made of stone, stubborn and immovable. you imagine that his peers have trouble convincing him of anything and you briefly wonder, judging by the hard look he’d given you, if you’ll run into the same trouble.

He'll cook for you.

No one argues with this; he's literally your personal chef.

He'll always make sure you eat well, whether you're a big eater or not.

This damn guy will literally stuff your stomach and cook for you anytime.

You can wake him up even at 2 a.m., and he won't mind, like:

"Hey, Katsu... I'm feeling kinda hungry... so-"

"Shut up, I already know."

And boom, he'll get up to cook a delicious meal for you and make sure you go to sleep feeling full.

He also loves styling your hair, no matter the type.

Straight, wavy, curly, it doesn't matter.

Just tell him how you want your hair, and he'll do it professionally.

He does most of the chores for you, like cooking, washing dishes, doing laundry, etc.

He absolutely hates seeing you tired or exhausted; he sees himself strong enough to do everything.

"You weren't created for exhaustion, not even your beautiful ass deserves to be tired from sitting."

Another reason he always holds you in his arms when you're alone together.

He always brings snacks for you at school.

At the end of each class, he turns around to give you candy or chocolate to keep you energized.

(He completely refuses to admit he brought them for you, always saying he got them by chance.)

When you're sitting in the dorm with others, he lets you rest your head on his shoulder if you're tired.

He absolutely doesn't let you go downstairs; he always carries you bridal style while going down while you're in his arms.

His excuse is that you're too foolish and will definitely trip and fall and hurt yourself.

(He loves you dearly and worries about you like crazy.)

Did I mention he's your guard dog?

Wherever you are, he walks behind you and gives death glares to anyone who dares to stare at you.

He also makes sure every day that he's the first person to say good morning or goodnight to you, whether in person or through messages.

He's not a big person with words, but he makes sure to say "I love you" enough times because he knows it makes you happy.

Believe me, he's just there for your happiness (I would die for this man).

This boy is the epitome of sweetness.

He's not just a green flag, he's the whole forest.

One thing I'm sure of is that he'll take notes for you during classes.

Even if you've already taken your own notes, he doesn't mind.

He still brings your notebooks and edits your notes to make them look like his own.

If you ask him why he does this, he simply replies:

"Just to ensure our information is the same so we don't have any problems when we study together."

He just loves being the reason behind your intellectual growth and knowing that he's helping you.

Every night, literally every night, he braids your hair.

Because he simply read that braiding hair before bed helps keep it healthy.

(He loves touching your hair and smelling its scent.)

Speaking of nighttime, he takes you for walks at night when everyone else is asleep and lies on the grass to watch the sky just because you told him you love seeing the stars.

He's literally the kind of gentleman who lays his jacket over a puddle of water for you to walk on so you don't get wet.

He has a sixth sense about you, so for example, whenever something bad happens to you, he's already there to fix it.

He's 100% ready to defend you against anyone and doesn't feel embarrassed to stand up to them either.

He carries your bag for you on the way to school and back to the dorm, insisting on it even when you say it's okay.

He loves sharing his food with you; he always does.

No matter what it is, he always makes sure you take at least a bite of it.

"I don't taste the food's flavor until I share it with you."

He always keeps your hands intertwined and makes sure you're close to him, especially in crowds.

Every day, he makes sure to kiss you on the cheek and tell you how perfect you are, how lucky he is to have you, and how much he loves you.

This guy is literally like a character from books.

He has a top-notch degree in princess treatment.

He buys you anything you want, no matter what.

Even if it's a car plated with gold, he'll always fulfill your desires.

He flirts with you, but in poetic ways.

For example, he reads a love quote or a poem and makes sure to dedicate it to you.

Either he writes it for you on a paper and places it on your desk in your room before you wake up, or he whispers it in your ear just to drive you crazy.

He loves seeing you shy and flustered.

He also buys you books, a lot of them.

The reason for that is your talk about a story or a novel.

Be sure that by tomorrow he'll present you with the entire book series along with a red rose.

"Shoto! You didn't have to do that!"

"If my girl desires something, she gets it."

He lets you do anything to him literally.

Braiding his hair, putting makeup on him, dressing him up as you wish... etc.

Just say the word, and he's like, "Yes, ma'am"

(Once you put your daily makeup on him, and literally you cried because he looked more beautiful than you by miles.)

This man is literally carrying your bags when he takes you shopping.

And he doesn't complain; it gives him a sense that he's your strong man.

He also allows you to try makeup on the back of his hand.

(He's as pale as hell.)

He carries you on his back if you feel tired from walking.

Or in other words, if he feels it, which means he always carries you on his back.

So you won't tire from something as silly as walking.

He knows that everyone is looking at both of you, but does he care? Of course not.

(I feel like he's read "The Art of Indifference" at least 100 times.)

He's the kind of guy who allows you to wear anything you want.

You might come to him not sure about your clothes, and he simply shrugs in indifference.

"Wear whatever you want; I can fight."

(But not too revealing because you won't get away with it.)

One of his greatest features is that he uses his quirk to either warm you up or cool you down according to the weather.

He always gives you his jacket even without you asking because he knows that his scent calms you down and also ensures that you're warm.

Like the others, he makes sure you eat well and goes crazy if he knows you haven't.

(I think this is an Asian thing...)

This might seem gross, but on the contrary, it's not the case for him, but he allows you to spit out the food you didn't like on his hand.

He tells you to do it in the most poetic expression ever.

He hugs you a lot, first because he loves being close to you and secondly to stick his scent to you, so people can smell you and know that you're his

(he has a special scent so..)

Pro-Heroes New Years Livestream Q&A Featuring Katsuki Bakugou / Dynamite

The next morning you couldn’t help but find yourself reflecting on years past — and not just the previous one!

You’d gotten out the box full of your childhood yearbooks that your parents made you take to your new apartment. Ironically, using the wobbly stool you’d stolen from your parents house in order to grab the dusty stack off the top shelf of your closet.

And now you sat on the floor by your coffee table coughing and sneezing as you flipped up all the yearbooks labeled with: Musutafu Middle.

You flipped through them all. Laying each book out in front of you as if you were some kind of detective with a red string to connect; and honestly, you kind of did because for the life of you. You. Could. Not. Remember Katsuki Bakugou. You had absolutely zero recollection of him from your time in middle school.

The worst part about it was that none of your friends could really remember him either. Like you knew he was rich, and snobby, and sporty, but that’s just because it was a small middle school. The way that you still remember a lot of other classmates, except that was all you could recall about Bakugou Katsuki. I mean, you don’t think you knew each other well enough for your name to be the one uttered by a ProHero in a nationally televised talk show?!!

You’d watched that video over and over and over again until you could practically see him on the talkshow repeating himself behind the red folds of your eyelids. And now you’d embarrassingly see him behind your eyes every time you blinked. But besides the video corroborating the fact that you had to be the girl Dynamite was speaking about you and your bestie couldn’t figure out how he’d encountered you in middle school? Because at the very least you never ran into him. Like you knew he was there and who he was in the small town sense, but you don’t recall having met Bakugou.

At least, not in the way that your eyes light up and you cause a charming boyish grin on a man whose reputation is just THAT. That devilishly handsome, incredibly chiseled Adonis looking with the cheekbones and jawbone that may injure a person, incredibly smoldering eyebrows and sharp intellectual eyes, kind of way. Not to mention, a top ten hero at the tender age of 23.

The past few days yours and your classmates photos had been circulating through various social media platforms as the general public tried to piece together the puzzle with their own detective work.

Meanwhile, you’d managed to hide out in your little apartment as the internet took Dynamite’s childhood crush by storm. You were immensely grateful that the public hadn’t picked up on it yet. Watching the internet frenzy from afar was enough for you.

Dynamite had already released a statement that he would not confirm or give up your name for the sake of protecting your own privacy. And as quoted by @dynamiteoffical, “absolutely fucking not. that’s low shit to do to anyone you know, especially to someone you don’t know very well yet.” If the revelation in itself did it have you swooning, then the public defense, and the mention of yet did. but still? ProHero Dynamite?? A guy you’d apparently known as children and harbored a small celebrity crush on for the past year and a half, it just didn’t feel real. It didn’t make sense, why? What did he see? You dragged the final yearbook off the coffee table and much like the others you’d blown off the dust and immediately gone to find Bakugou Katsuki.

Your fingers traced around the corners of the pages. A delicate finger around the generic blue background that framed your pictures. There you stood smiling back at yourself your red kerchief matching the ribbon your mother had put in your hair. You touched the back off your head. The same hairstyle that you’d never quite grown out of: a braided ponytail; just like ProHero Dynamite had called it.

Frantically, you’d pushed your way through the filler pages of clubs, ceremonies, and school events that had occurred throughout the year. The ones that always separated the graduating class from the rest of the student bodies pictures. So many clubs and event were put on — including the semi-annual quirk emergency training. That was coordinated through the Mustafu Police Department. They canceled all club activities for one afternoon and divided up the school in half; 1st year and 2nd years together, and then 3rd and 4th years. Which according to your calculations meant that you’d been in the same safety seminar as Katsuki for 2 years. And that only explained how you did remember, and meet, ProHero Deku. They always split off the kids with quirks capable of self-defense and gave them some small group training. Meanwhile the rest of you stayed in the gymnasium learning self defense moves with partners. — You always paired up with your best friend.

You flipped past more stuff. Fondly remembering the Battle of the Books win that year. As well as the Middle school Medieval themed dance with the inflatable sword duel with the Student Body President and Vice President. And especially the Battle of the Bands an event you participated in every year til high school, much to your parents chargin, and finally that final year you’d placed top three. In the photo you stood clutching the neck of your guitar to your chest with the golden microphone in your hand. How you ever left the house in that outfit you’d never understand. You smiled fondly tracing over the trophy with your hand, a relic that your parents ironically kept in order to show off to their friends still.

Finally, you’d flipped to the grade below you and spotted the elusive head of blonde hair. In a frustrated sigh you asked, “seriously Dynamite how on earth do you know me? Like actually?” Because honestly how could a ProHero like you when you were sooo cringe.

I think it'd take Yaoyorozu a bit before she'd be comfortable trying that. Like, yeah, she knows intellectually that he can probably take it, but attacking with lethal intent using her Quirk is something of a hurdle

I was going to ignore this because it really isn't worth the effort, but OP's tone kinda pissed me off and I'm petty.

1. You can take the action to filter out the tag. Therefore, you won't see a blog that's Anti Bakugou. You're choosing to subject yourself to our content and then whining about it. You're doing the same thing you're talking down on us for, hypocrite.

2. It's funny how you aren't saying a damn word about his stans. His stans who have at every turn been some of the most toxic and volatile people in the fandom. On every single forum- here, Instagram, Reddit, AO3, FF, etc- I've had a problem with Bakugou stans instigating conflict with me. I've been called literal slurs by Bakugou stans. Why is their behavior tolerated, but us creating a space to talk about why we dislike a fictional character a problem?

3. Having intellectual conversations with people who have the same or similar thoughts as you doesn't indicate a lack of hobby. And you know that, you're not dumb. You're attempting to act superior by shaming us because you don't like what we have to say. Cry more.

truly genuine question that I mean no negative feelings with or anything: if that’s the case, why is it so rare for you to go for the (at least mostly) “nice” characters? like do they have to be written a certain way or scratch a certain itch or something? /lh

i love getting this question /gen because its always a very like ... respectfully girl what is wrong w u and it makes me giggle HDSKJFS

uhm ive answered before somewhere and i just dont feel like i have much in common with those kinds of characters. i prefer dating people with similar mindsets or ways or thinking to me which are not usually the unequivocally kind sociable types fdkjsjdkj. i usually get along better with people i have a lot of common ground with and share similar views

most of the men i like i share like intellectual common ground with. this is the most true for bakugou.

both umemiya and isagi are super kind but also mildly insane so i can deal. same with a character like sunday. the only exception exception is wyll bc hes literally prince charming but hes so bewitching i couldnt help but wanna kiss him

but yeah in general the super good super nice super kind characters are ones i prefer to admire from a distance. the gap between us is too dire.

so i guess in a way they do have to scratch a certain itch before i can really like them ! like i cant really do a character like yuuji or tanjiro but i can do deku etc

The idea that Horikoshi is *genuinely* intellectual or even progressive for giving Bakugou tropes that typically fall to female love interests is the greatest cope and displays the worst literary and media analysis skills ever sorry to say. It’s a really shallow and surface level way to view what is happening to his character and gives Horikoshi way more flowers than he deserves, because had he intended to subvert trope, it would’ve actually been interesting and showcased a depth to his writing ability that he currently lacks.

Character Analysis: Bakugou Katsuki. Part 2

As always: Disclaimer: This is for fun. I am not a professional psychiatrist, nor claim to be. These are my thoughts and opinions. If you do not agree, thank you for at least reading, but DO NOT comment!

Bakugo Katsuki from conflict to acceptance.

Note: How I interpreted these two panels is that it’s read as one. Basically these emotions are something they BOTH share.

But let me bring to your attention the bottom two words. Rejection and Inferiority.

During our brief interactions with the Bakugous I have noticed a very strong disconnect between them. Mainly how they speak about Katsuki. Especially when it came to the kidnapping incident. 

Mitsuki flat out vocally blames Katsuki due to his own weakness. And even going as far as to state how he’s at fault for getting caught. This is very problematic. How often does Katsuki get blame for the smallest mistakes? Even if it wasn’t his fault?

This comes back to that childhood belief of being “perfect”. If even in your own home you’re constantly judged by your every action. Not being able to relax in a place that’s supposed to be safe.

The gimmick of the mother’s love language being hitting and badmouth can have a great impact on how a child views themselves. Outside of home people are praising you, but at home you’re constantly being put down for the smallest of mistakes. Then when even the outside world starts pointing out your flaws you can feel trapped. A child would even develop constantly being in fight or flight mode with every interaction they face with.

In Katsuki case, he is constantly in fight mode. Consistently needing to be at the ready. If it’s not one thing it’s another. And the disconnect goes even farther with how Mitsuki brings up how everyone makes a fuss about Katsuki.

From Katsuki being praised for everything and people fussing about how things came easy to him. During this moment Mitsuki does show how she was concerned and grateful for Aizawa’s speech. Proving she does care for Katsuki and probably doesn’t realize that she may have caused him harm with how she speaks to him.

We also witness how uncomfortable Katsuki is with touch. Which usually points to a negative association with such actions. At that, when looking back at other moments where touch is an important interaction, Katsuki show signs of confusion to the notion.

So, along with a bad association with touch, constantly being rejected at the slightest mistake, along with being told he’s perfect, this all can be overwhelming for a child to grow up with. It’s also provides an explanation to why Katsuki is horrible at expressing himself.

If the only emotion that is accepted of you is anger, then that’ll be the only thing you’ll be able to publicly display. Between the fall as a child and starting high school, Katsuki has been emotionally stunted. He’s not able to handle his emotions outside of what he been allowed. He’s basically constantly angry because that’s the only acceptable way he can express.

So, when Katsuki gets to UA, he’s not physically and intellectually challenged. The metaphorical wall he keeps hitting is the overwhelming emotions. He expresses his anger for failing at things he knows he shouldn’t. He let’s his previous knowledge override his judgement of a situation.

Then when Katsuki deals with being wrong he goes into panic mode. Which makes him fail more than if he was to keep a level head. But he doesn’t know how to do so. Especially when nobody has taught him. When everyone only praises you or reject you for the smallest mistake then all you learn is that nobody will help you.

The ideal of perfection and learning that he’ll always be on his own is the driving force of him refusing Izuku’s existence. Because of Izuku existence provides everything Katsuki been told to be true. So to challenge those beliefs feels like he’s failing.

At that, he prides in himself when he’s able to complete a challenge. So when the challenge goes against everything he believes in, he is conflicted and his emotions takes over.

To have someone see that he’s not perfect, isn’t just hurting Katsuki’s ego. For a brief moment he is seen as a person and doesn’t know how to perceive such an action.

I have the opposite problem. Can't stand Bakugou or Endeavour or any other character like that but absolutely love Dazai. I think it's because Dazai clearly doesn't think much about good or evil. Later events would reveal that he chose to work for the ADA because of something personal but clearly not anything related to his moral compass. Bakugou and Endeavour on the other hand knew what they were doing was wrong and did it anyway, supported by their status in society. They were also not so genius that they were above the rest of society. Dazai on the other hand, much like Ranpo is intellectually on another level and have the complications in thought process that comes with it. It's like anons' genius sister. You can't expect her to have the same values or hold morals to the same universal regard the way others do because that's just not how things work for her fundamentally. That makes Dazai infinitely more likeable to me as a character. He's intellectually alienated, has a dark and complex backstory, and a mysterious, unrevealed childhood that adds meat and substance to his character unlike Bakugou who is not nearly so complex. And the fact that Dazai does not look for excuses for his behaviour helps too.

I started watching my hero academia this year and i really like but one thing that for me personaly ruined the manga/anime is bakugo. I was bullied in school so I was on a daily basis with a bakugo and that was a complete nightmare. His carachter bully Midorya and is extremely abusive but no one seems to care?? he was never held accountable for his actions we're in season 6 and for me there was no growth and his, but somehow I went through it all and now I'm really enjoying season 6. Anyway have a great week

First off, I'm so sorry to hear about your experience. That's awful.

Second, yeah Bakugou is a very polarizing character. I do, intellectually, understand why he's so popular but at the same time I'm still ??? why he's such a dick. He has improved, he has grown as a character and is doing his best to be a better person/hero so I can at least respect him for that.

I'll admit I'm like, a year behind in the manga and don't agree with some of the story direction but like DP and DW and DC, there's just something fascinating about the worldbuilding that will continue to draw me back in. The prevalence of quirks, their heavy social restrictions, the cult of heroes a shiny veneer to the clear dystopia. Its such an interest world thats so fun to explore and play around with. I would reccomend trying some BNHA fic, 1) it has some of the most mesmerizing excellent fic ever but also Bakugou either gets super consequences of his actions or more clearly redeemed so whatever choice you want, you can find!

My indulgent Pagan Bakugou post that I need for my witchy heart

Bakugou never cared about religion tbh because he was always focusing on getting stronger

But he's always had a love for Hallowen because hello? Orange and black and dressing up as fierce creatures was 100% his forte

Goes out begrudgingly to find a costume for Halloween that year because dammit he was gonna look like a badass with the best costume when he finds a pagan shop selling animal related parapharnalia

Instantly fascinated by all the trinkets and cool tools in the shop and oh my gosh are those herbs?? Those would be great for cooking with and what are these rocks for? Some of them look kinda badass

Finds a few books in the shop because he may be a delinquent but dammit he's a nerd who studies too and takes them home, sneaking them past everyone

Reads about the craft and is instantly enraptured by the independence and power the craft can bring and how it pushes forging your own path and doing what's best for you

Starts doing more research and hops between craft styles (am I a kitchen witch because I love to cook or a modern witch because I'm practical with a strict schedule to follow? Maybe I'm a norse pagan because I like the values of vikings and want to maintain peak physical strength?)

Bakugou 100% has a digital Book of Shadows on his phone because duh convenience

He likes doing his stretches outside so he can absorb the energy of the sun and use it to ground him to the earth and balance the two energies inside of him

His baggy pants are perfect for hiding the crystals in his pocket he's blessed to give him good luck on tests because he's smart and doesn't really fucking need it but a little help couldn't hurt

He has a pouch for warding off unwanted visitors above his dorm door since for some reason his dumbass friends have the worst timing and often knock on the door when he just wants solitude

He doesn't really keep a fancy alter because he likes the simple kinda minimalistic design of his room, but he does have a drawer in his dresser that stores all of his supplies

Bakugou decides he wants to dabble in divination and chooses bone readings because bones are fucking badass and of course he is up for the challenge

Huuuuuuge manifestor. As in he practically does mantras hourly of how he attracts success and strength and how he's gonna seize the day and that obstacles bend before him

Made a candle that increases intellectual growth and patience that he burns in the background while helping the Bakusquad study because he may be smart but these guys aren't and need all the fucking help they can get

Started practicing shadow work to help with his anger and insecurity towards Midoriya. His friends wonder why he started closing his eyes whenever he's about to pop off and calms down

Kirishima, "He's really started regulating his emotions." Kaminari, "Yeah, it's like magic!" Bakugou: *pointed look*

Talking back about dynamics, just curious, for MHA, what would be your dream IzukuCrew? I believe it is widely accepted by the fandom the standard IzukuCrew (I won’t use DekuCrew anymore) is Ochako, Iida, Todoroki and Tsu. Are there members you would add, switch or at least have honorary members? Or is this group enough?

I love the standard! On its own, it would work fine. Personally, I would keep them and add Momo and Tokoyami. Momo because I feel like her and Izuku would have a lot in common (and seeing them interact intellectually would be fun) and Tokoyami because he's one of the few who don't admire Bakugou and would have no issues telling him to fuck off when he's bothering Izuku.

(I'd add a redeemed Aoyama here depending on the story)

I'd keep the group around this size too. One of the things I don't like about MHA is the tendency to group all of 1A into either Izuku's group or Bakugou's group. It's just unnecessary, and it also contradicts their characters. Like Jiro being in the "Bakusquad" makes no sense because realistically, Bakugou would annoy the fuck out of her (especially with her sensitive hearing).

Horikoshi- through his mouthpiece Aizawa- tells us that Izuku and Bakugou are the ones who inspire their class. But not only does he not show us what they- especially Bakugou- actually do to inspire the class, he doesn't bother to give 1A substance and attention to back that up. So they aren't characters beyond somehow being motivated by either Izuku or Bakugou.

They don't have to be in one group or the other to be relevant. It's really just laziness on Horikoshi's part

well you happened to pick two of the fics i started very recently, shinkami was created like three hours ago actually but!!

this is a little oneshot that’s part of my d/s au (all sfw here, dont worry), which isn’t superrr important. it’s basically kaminari asking shinsou to use his quirk on him and lots of gay banter. mostly kaminari thinks brainwash is the coolest thing ever and it would be SO fun and shinsou is just ??? you’re not scared of me?? then they have fun with it.

in the context of the au, shinsou is the dom (cmon, i cant Not do it with that quirk) and kaminari is the sub, and he specifically wants shinsou to brainwash him into subspace bc hes a little dumb, a lot curious, and willing to try just about anything once. it’s not actually a lot of questionable decisions i was just not feeling very clever when i titled it lol. if you were wondering, i’m working with a version of shinsou’s quirk where people can still speak and do simple tasks and are like, Aware, but they dont have control, bc it’s more fun that way for Me.

tdbkdk character study

this one was created for a school project actually, i’ve been working on a video series of me writing fanfic and doing voiceover to talk about specific elements of writing it? this time i wanted to talk about keeping characters, uh, in character, and these three, as much as i love them, are hard for me to write sometimes, so i picked them.

the gist is they fight a villain with a quirk sortaaa like…weaker blackwhip? and bakugou ends up wrapped up in it with tendrils/tentacles in his mouth to keep him quiet and it brings up slime villain memories. he attempts to hold it together until he can be alone, but tddk are very persistent and eventually he breaks in front of them. i don’t have a solid plan after that, they’re not even established in this fic and idk if i want to make it a getting together thing bc it’s already like 4k words long and it would very quickly become like 20k if i did that. smthn about bnha, much more than other fandoms, just makes even my oneshots super long

tbh i this one was Not Working when i wrote it and i have some ideas for how to make it work but i havent gotten back to it. partially because, you know, i find these characters hard to write!!

intellectually i know how to do it, i can tell when other people do it right/wrong, but it’s still Rough sometimes.
