(QS Ash Shaffat 101)
Betapa takjubnya kalau kita peka, ada fakta penting ketika Ismail mendengarkan perintah Allah lewat lisan ayahnya untuk menyembelihnya. Ayat 102 surat Ash Shaffat mengabadikan momen itu, ketika Nabi Ibrahim berkata, "Wahai anakku! Sesungguhnya aku bermimpi bahwa aku menyembelihmu. Maka pikirkanlah bagaimana pendapatmu!”
Apa jawaban Ismail? Apakah beliau berkilah? Kabur? Lari tunggang-langgang?

Tafsir Ibn Kathir: Surah Ibrahim Ayah 35-36
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
14:35 And (remember) when Ibrahim said: "O my Lord! Make this city (Makkah) one of peace and security, and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols.
14:36 "O my Lord! They have indeed led astray many among mankind. But whoso follows me, he verily, is of me. And whoso disobeys me, still You
are indeed Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Ibrahim's Supplication to Allah when He brought Isma`il to Makkah
Allah tells:
And (remember) when Ibrahim said:
Allah mentions here, while bringing forth more evidences against Arab polytheists, that the Sacred House in Makkah was established on the worship of Allah alone, without partners. He also states that Ibrahim, who established the city, has disowned those who worship others besides Allah, and that he begged Allah to make Makkah peaceful and secure,
O my Lord! Make this city (Makkah) of peace and security,
and Allah accepted his supplication. Allah said in other Ayat,
Have they not seen that We have made (Makkah) a secure sanctuary. (29:67)
and,
Verily, the first House (of worship) appointed for mankind was that at Bakkah (Makkah), full of blessing, and a guidance for Al-'Alamin. In it are manifest signs, the Maqam of Ibrahim; whosoever enters it, he attains security. (3:96)
Allah said here that Ibrahim supplicated, (O my Lord! Make this city (Makkah) a of peace and security), saying, "this city,'' after he established it, and
this is why he said afterwards,
All praise is due to Allah, Who has given me in old age Ismail and Ishaq. (14:39)
It is well-known that Ismail was thirteen years older than Ishaq. When Ibrahim took Ismail and his mother to Makkah, while Ismail was still young enough to nurse, he supplicated to Allah,
O my Lord! Make this city (Makkah) a place of peace and security. (2:126) as we in explained in Surah Al-Baqarah.
Ibrahim then said,
and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols.
It is proper for whoever supplicates to Allah to also ask for the benefit of his parents and offspring, as well as himself.
Ibrahim then said;
"O my Lord! They have indeed led astray many among mankind. But whoso follows me, he verily, is of me. And whoso disobeys me, still You are indeed Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Ibrahim next mentioned that many among mankind were led astray because of idols, and he disowned those who worship them and referred their matter to Allah; if Allah wills, He will punish them, and if He wills, He will forgive them.
Isa, peace be upon him, said similar words,
If You punish them, they are Your servants, and if You forgive them, verily, You, only You are the Almighty, the All- Wise. (5:118)
This supplication refers this and all matters to Allah, not that it is actually going to happen.
Abdullah bin Amr narrated that the Messenger of Allah recited Ibrahim's supplication,
O my Lord! They have indeed led astray many among mankind.,
and the supplication of Isa,
If You punish them, they are Your servants. (5:118)
then raised his hands and said,
O Allah, Save my Ummah! O, Allah, Save my Ummah! O, Allah, Save my Ummah!
and cried.
Allah said to the angel Jibril, "O Jibril, go to Muhammad, and Your Lord has more knowledge, and ask him what makes him cry.''
Jibril came to the Prophet and asked him, and he repeated to him what he said (in his supplication).
Allah said, "Go to Muhammad and tell him this;
`We will make you pleased with your Ummah, O Muhammad, and will not treat them in a way you dislike.'''

SubhanAllah 😭😭😭 I just read the tafsir of this ayah:
Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind was that at Bakkah [i.e., Makkah] - blessed and a guidance for the worlds.
The tafsir explains how Allah has made Makkah and His House, the Kaabah, beloved to us to such an extent that even if visiting it was not an obligation, we would still long to visit it.
This deep love for the Kaabah is something that cannot be fully quenched, even by seeing it in person, and being far from it leaves our hearts restless.
SubhanAllah, the power of this verse and the beauty of the Kaabah are truly remarkable, and it is a blessing to be able to experience them. May Allah guide us all and grant us the opportunity to visit His House in Makkah! 🥺🫶🏻

Mecca?
Desecrations
The Stone has suffered repeated desecrations and damage over the course of time. It is said to have been struck and smashed to pieces by a stone fired from a catapult during the Umayyad Caliphate's siege of Mecca in 683. The fragments were rejoined by Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr using a silver ligament.[37] In January 930, it was stolen by the Qarmatians, who carried the Black Stone away to their base in Hajar (modern Eastern Arabia). According to Ottoman historian Qutb al-Din, writing in 1857, the Qarmatian leader Abu Tahir al-Jannabi set the Black Stone up in his own mosque, the Masjid al-Dirar, with the intention of redirecting the hajj away from Mecca. This failed, as pilgrims continued to venerate the spot where the Black Stone had been.[39]
According to the historian al-Juwayni, the Stone was returned twenty-three years later, in 952. The Qarmatians held the Black Stone for ransom, and forced the Abbasids to pay a huge sum for its return. It was wrapped in a sack and thrown into the Friday Mosque of Kufa, accompanied by a note saying "By command we took it, and by command we have brought it back." Its abduction and removal caused further damage, breaking the stone into seven pieces.[40][41][42] Its abductor, Abu Tahir, is said to have met a terrible fate; according to Qutb al-Din, "the filthy Abu Tahir was afflicted with a gangrenous sore, his flesh was eaten away by worms, and he died a most terrible death." To protect the shattered stone, the custodians of the Kaaba commissioned a pair of Meccan goldsmiths to build a silver frame to surround it, and it has been enclosed in a similar frame ever since.[39]
In the 11th century, a man allegedly sent by the Fatimid caliph al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah attempted to smash the Black Stone but was killed on the spot, having caused only slight damage.[39] In 1674, according to Johann Ludwig Burckhardt, someone allegedly smeared the Black Stone with excrement so that "every one who kissed it retired with a sullied beard". According to the archaic Sunni belief,[43] by the accusation of one boy, the Persian of an unknown faith was suspected of sacrilege, where Sunnis of Mecca "have turned the circumstance to their own advantage" by assaulting, beating random Persians and forbidding them from Hajj until the ban was overturned by the order of Muhammad Ali. The explorer Sir Richard Francis Burton pointed out on the alleged "excrement action" that "it is scarcely necessary to say that a Shi'a, as well as a Sunni, would look upon such an action with lively horror", and that the real culprit was "some Jew or Christian, who risked his life to gratify a furious bigotry".[44]

Lalu, kenapa Siti Hajar terus menerus bolak-balik?

Nabi Muhammad SAW menjunjung tinggi tentang kejujuran. Beliau dijuluki Al Amin selama 40 tahun.

*Part 1 Kisah Saidah Hajar, ibunda kota Makkah*
Ust Salim Afillah✌️

“What is Lawful.” The Advent Contemplations, Part 11. From Surah Ali Imran, contained in the Glorious Quran.
Tumblr media
In #10 Muhammad says we need to donate law and order from the government to the people if our time on earth has any chance of being well spent. In this era this means strict enforcement of laws that broker power away from tyrants and tyrantitas back to the people, guaranteeing free distribution of wealth, property ownership and human equity.
Now it’s time to analyze one of the biggest hobgoblins that differentiates secular and religious law, and creates underclasses, AKA the Food Fest.
Muhammad noticed something I did about the Torah, it is not a dietician’s guide. Muslims, after the Prophet have always wondered why Jews are so uptight about food! Jesus talked about food restrictions, not even once, Krishna said “what comes out of a man defiles him, not what goes in.”
Here is Muhammad’s argument about food, in the literal sense:
All food was lawful for the children of Israel, except what Israel1 made unlawful for himself before the Torah was revealed.2 Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Bring the Torah and read it, if your claims are true.”
Then whoever still fabricates lies about Allah, they will be the ˹true˺ wrongdoers.
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Allah has declared the truth. So follow the Way of Abraham, the upright—who was not a polytheist.”
Surely the first House ˹of worship˺ established for humanity is the one at Bakkah—a blessed sanctuary and a guide for ˹all˺ people.
In it are clear signs and the standing-place of Abraham. Whoever enters it should be safe. Pilgrimage to this House is an obligation by Allah upon whoever is able among the people.1 And whoever disbelieves, then surely Allah is not in need of ˹any of His˺ creation.
The last two stanzas say it all, “whoever enters the House of Worship and studies the Quran, they are a source of safety for the world, they make of it a refuge. If we refuse to ponder this, just use and abuse everyone and everything, then Muhammad says there is no point to this place and our lives.
It isn’t that difficult to tell we things are not going so hot, how no one feels safe or glad. There are clear signs.
So what are we supposed to do? Allah says forget about the Food Menu follow the path of Abraham which was to worship God through hospitality, food, and tending to the needs of the poor and making friends of one’s enemies.
And what a good time of year to start doing it too!
