Bunny looked at Badri. “Oh just SHUT UP, BADRI. You know once your mom dies WE ALL DO.” She walked off, eyeing Bruce in the process. “I just do NOT like him. In fact I HATE HIM!” She yelled out for Bruce to hear. “And Badri being so calm that BRUCE ALMOST KILLED JAINA IS CRAZY TO ME!!!! I’m leaving. Fuck this.” Layla kept her pinned against the wall. Forearm against chest.

Jaina muttered to Jack while Bunny was still fussing. “Bruce…needs help.”

Bria logged into the computer and did work , putting in everyone’s DNA and checking for splicing or mutations.

Aaliyah stayed with her mother, Layla stayed around Bruce to protect him, and Bunny was being carried away. She was still yelling out to Bruce, kicking and screaming.

As everyone dispersed, Bria looked at Badri and spoke. “Make sure to lock her up. Glass casing. I’m sure she’s going to kill Bruce if she’s not locked away.” She typed in the computer. “It’s going to take a while for us to get the information.

Shadows of Gotham

The rain poured relentlessly, causing big puddles of water and possibly a flash flood later in the night. Lighting flashed, thunder cracked, Gotham shook.

Jaina was straddled to a gargoyle, looking over the drenched Gotham. Batman, standing to the left of her, broods, as per usual.

Jaina turns her head to her lover, partner, and hero. She finds him so attractive when he thinks hard, it practically drove her mad. “You think Joker is staying in for the night? Judging by how, I don’t know, hard the rain is giving Gotham? Lightning especially?”

Thunder clapped over Gotham again and she stood up, getting off the gargoyle and standing in the driest spot possible on the cathedra. She yells for her husband again.

“Look, I know this case is hard to crack! But we have children and you’re officially losing your insanity!”

Radio silence.

Jaina yells out again. “I know Gotham never sleeps, but this is becoming dangerous! You’re letting this man do exactly what he wanted to do, and get in your head! Robin had the same issue! Remember?”

More silence.

“Don’t fucking shut me out! I’m worried for your psyche!”

After the continued lack of response from Bruce, she holds herself and looks away. Looking at the back of her husband.

She mutters, “Coward.” And walks off.

Hours pass and it was starting to become evident that Bruce possibly lost his mind. Just before he called it quits, an emergency blip shows up on Bruce’s interface. Jaina’s not home, and she seems to be hurt, in the alleyway where his parents were murdered. Right in the exact spot, Park Row.

Aaliyah chips into Bruce’s intercoms. “Is everything okay? My watch is going off about mom. Where are you?”

Aspen called her dad one late night from the roof of their home. She wasn’t doing so well from the Powers incident.

She felt her parents in distress, but when they came home, they played like nothing happened. Aspen wasn’t As smart as Badri’s lover is, but she knows when her family is upset.

To prevent any confrontation or Bunny growing emotional, as always, Aspen remained silent and played along too.

There was a knock on the door of the Wayne Family Brownstone. They were soft knocks but loud enough to wake the house.... if it was full. Almost everyone had gone expect Badri and Bria who slept in after a... fun night.

When Bria finally opened the door, a woman in a suit stood at rhe door. She smiled at Bria.

Her chipper brutish voice came out.

"Good morning. Are you Abrianna Delgado? Hello." Sh offered her free hand to shake. "My name is Monica Fitzgerald and I am here on behalf on my employer. Marsha, Queen of Diamonds. Is this a bad time?"

Bria tried to ignore the knocks. Badri wasn’t moving, and she loved to stay under him.

The knocks weren’t going away, so Bria got up, put on a sports bra, Pajama pants, and scurried to the door.

Once she opened it, squinted at the person speaking. “Abriann…but…yeah. How may I help you?” She asked.

She shook Monica’s hand and recoiled back to the door, listening to her speak to her. “It’s not a bad time. Come on.”

She opened the door for Monica to walk in. Bria then lead her to the kitchen, brewed some tea, and sat it down. Sugar cubes, cream, and a few of Bunny’s treats were on the table.

Bruce made a mistake and shared a look with Layla. She was just like a young Bunny. She knew how to get his attention and make him want more. VIRGINITY FOR SALE

My July 14, 2016 blog was limited to one subject. The New Prostitution. The story of college girls and young ladies selling their bodies for big dollars to wealthy men who were looking for smart educated women.

No pimp or escort service involved. The ladies independent contractors. Their fee generally $1,000 to $5,000 a night. Many had annual contracts with the men paying in the six figures.

The young women opted for the way of life for the money involved. Money required for tuition, college debt, clothes, and to replace wage stagnation. Very few in the life for the fun of it.

It is not uncommon for peripheral business to spin off successful ones. Millennial ladies selling their virginity. A one time big dollar maker. Attractive to a young lady whose virginity has been preserved.

A lottery generally involved. The men bid for the young lady’s virginal charms.

I find the sale of virginal vaginas difficult to believe. Not the money aspect. Some men have so much money, they can spend it foolishly. What I do wonder is how many women today have preserved their virginity into their late teens and early 20’s. It  does not fit into the promiscuous society we live in.

Turned out we have a common friend. Jennifer brought June Hudson’s name into the conversation. I have not seen June in a couple of years.

I had an hour to kill before being due at Donna and Terri’s for dinner. Decided to stop in the Chart Room two blocks away.

John bartending. Sheila, Jean and Joe Thornton at the bar. The Thorntons having a drink before going over to the Red Barn for a show.

Sheila introduced me to Christina. A lovely person.

Christina works for KWAHS at the Custom House. The front desk person. Sheila, who once worked at the Custom House, said Christina was the go to person.

She bartended at one time in New Orleans. At a place called the Dungeon. John had been there. A bad place. In all my trips to New Orleans, never heard nor got to the Dungeon. A missed experience.

Christina has a Masters in Journalism. She claims her journalistic background makes it possible for her to enjoy her job and life. She views her existence as living history as it is occurring.

Always good company and good food at Donna and Terri’s. Love the ladies! The pot roast Donna prepared, also.

Another good day and night ahead for me. Syracuse/Notre Dame this afternoon. This evening, time with Catherine. Happy Hour at the Saint followed by the Churchill movie across the street at the Tropic Cinema.

I am a history freak. Especially two wars. The Civil and World War II. The Darkest Hour is going to be a real turn on.

Key West and other Keys communities are small town America. Medical specialties for serious illnesses unavailable. One has to get to a hospital in Miami or elsewhere on the mainland swiftly.

Monroe puts a portion of our tax dollars to good use. The County owns two helicopters. Medical personnel on board. The helicopters fly those needing critical care to Miami and elsewhere.

At no cost to Monroe County residents. One of the helicopters rests on the lawn of our local Key West hospital.

The numbers are out re flights for 2017. A record number. Nine hundred twenty three.

The weather. Still cold. Cold for Key West. I was out yesterday in long pants and a heavy winter jacket.

Last night, in the mid 50’s. Today, 69 and the evening 54.

One of the best people to have ever lived in Key West has returned for the season. Patrick “Paddy Cakes” Hayes. Loved by all. A good friend to all.

Badri nodded. “Just us then. I am sure Lapin and aspen want their own time together too and not with us. Feel bad sometimes Lapin is bound to me, she loves aspen so much and I want him to be happy.”

Lapin smiled as Aspen pulled away. he couldn’t wait until they could be together forever and be gods. He wanted nothing more than to be free from Badri, like Bunny was from Jaina, and live with Aspen and be happy. Soon.

Jack held his love close and balanced her as they stood. He knew she couldnt stand for much longer but she wanted to stay up as long as she could. He softly rocked her and smiled when she kissed him.

Usually, Badri loved calling her Doctor and they sometimes played Doctors or Doctor and Nurse when they got playful. But for once, they were being serious. They can play later. This was Badri’s first birth and he was nervous and his hands twitched a little.

Aspen ran down the hall screaming for her father. “DADDY!!!!!” She ran into his office and panted. Out of breath, she spoke to Jack frantically. “ICheckedInOnMomAndHerWaterJustBrokeAndSheNeedsToGoSeeADoctorASAP!!!!!” She gasped for air and pointed in the direction of Bunny. “COME ON!!!!!!”

Jack was happy. Even though Gotham was falling apart outside his door, Jack couldn't be happier knowing he was going to be a Father again. He was happy Bunny was pregnant again and knew aspen was excited to be a big sister.

He knew she was due any day now. And with Bruce busy fighting Scarecrow and Jaina head deep in looking into Ghost Maker, jack knew if Bunny went into labor. It was just him and the Rabbits.

When Aspen came running into his office, Jack too off his glasses and looked up from his work. "Yes, My dear. What is..." When he heard her fast pace speaking, he instantly knew what was going on.

He sped down the hall, past Aspen and went directly to Bunny. He held her and made sure she was okay.

"ASPEN! GET THE OTHERS AND BRING THE CAR AROUND!" He yelled. He held Bunny's stomach and helped her remain calm. "I can't believe it is happening so soon. Allah be praised. Just breath, my dear. We will get you to the hospital."

He kissed her forehead. "All will be alright. Our son will be alright."
