Went horseback riding with my mom yesterday and it was such an amazing experience... We always go to this huge forest, and this time we explored for a really long time, and suddenly everything felt so quiet?

We stopped... The silence was almost deafening. The forest made noise, yes, but there were no man made sounds. It felt as if we were miles and miles away from civilization-

It was also raining, the air tasted cold and wet, I could feel it refreshing my lungs... I was cold, but it felt so natural...

I started galloping a bit and while I was stabilizing myself on the horses neck with one hand, I just let go with the other... I could feel the wind between my fingers... We were so fast!

I didn't feel shifty, but being in that forest just makes me feel like... Idk. Myself

We are the largest family in the order Carnivora, here are 63 relatives species! ~☆Diversity☆~ Canidae is 35 species, Felidae is 41 species, and they are the cool spotlight animals everywhere (・へ・)

Where are the mustelids? In fiction movies-cartoons-books-games-documentaries-etc, in "favorite animals lists", in figurines/plushies, clothing prints, in "save rare animals" funds. Nowhere!!! Canid/felid folks, you're lucky you have so much representation!

been toying on/off with the idea of making a mustelid-specific alterhuman discord server.

For context I’m thinking a verrrry laid back environment, chats for different species or habitats, just a place to talk and hang out, make friends, etc. likely 16 or 17+ and you’d be welcome so long as you aren’t an asshole (for some side information). I do have SOME discord moderating experience but really it’d be more like a very organized gc if I DID make it. Would be welcome to all mustelids!
