You are like the sunny dictionary to me so I have a question! If you don't know the answer its fine no worries :) When was the last time Mac talked about doing karate? I feel like he hasn't for a while but maybe I'm misremembering?

Interestingly, outside of Mac's signature "dance karate" move (which I believe we last saw in DDL), the last time Mac really talked about/hyped up karate was Mac Day, in which he scored an official point in a karate competition, promptly got knocked out, and subsequently shit his pants in the face of actual danger... so maybe there's a reason he doesn't so much associate with karate anymore...

#he went back to his little handle bike dance celebration in later seasons as opposed to his karate chops #and i he doesnt really pretend to be a type of bad ass anymore.. if hes fighting hes just throwing punches #ask #mac mcdonald #someone correct me if im wrong tho #i think the progression honestly makes sense that he fell off from karate.. but he shouldnt have fallen off from thinking hes a badass.#rob needs to pivot Mac to some other 'cool' thing he can delude himself into thinking he's a master at #OC

after getting the shit beat out of him on multiple occasions, confronted by the mafia, also on multiple occasions, multiple instances of attempted murder, I think that Phoenix deserves to be forced to be a little kickass. Like he worked at a shady restaurant and wins poker games against people who are drunk and probably more than willing to kick the shit out of him all the time, there's no way that he wouldn't be able to defend himself in some way. Maybe Trucy taught him how to throw knives or something and I know he's a funny indestructible punching bag of a guy but come on... I think at least for his daughter's sake he should at least know how to handle a gay little knife or something.
