When MCR first came out onstage, Gerard strutted on like he was all badass with a black bandana on his face. For some reason, he reminded me of an anime cartoon character when he was wearing that. Anyway, the decision to wear the bandana came back to bite him in the ass later because he couldn't get it to untie from his neck when he realized how ridiculously fucking hot it was out there. I didn't realize it was still around his neck but he made a comment about it between songs when he was trying to catch his breath. Haha. Oh well, everything can't always go perfectly, right?

Anyway, since the picture of him (that I tried to take) with the bandana turned out all blurry and awful, here is a picture of Gerard just after he took it off. Might I point out how foxy his hair looks. Hooray for Gerard not looking like a mad scientist when I saw them perform!

Gerard made multiple comments on the heat, but you know what? He sort of deserved being hot since he was out there in his JACKET! It's a wonder he didn't pass out. He did spend a lot of the time lying on the stage or sitting. Early in their set (maybe three or so songs in?) he said something to the effect of (this is NOT a direct quote, just a paraphrase) "I was going to say something later about guys taking their shirts off, but, fuck it, it's too hot. Go ahead and take them off now." Then when they got to "Prison" he said it again about just the guys taking off their shirts and that he didn't care what size you are, you're still attractive. Gotta love Gerard and how he tries to make the fans feel good about themselves. I think he was just trying to charm the guys out of their clothes, though, really. He stressed that only the guys should take their shirts off and swing them around their heads. I think some guy threw his shirt up there and he picked it up and swung it around, but it could've been a rag or something. It was a black cloth of some kind, anyway. And of course, someone threw the obligatory feather boa up there, and Gerard put it on. I swear, Gerard must be crazy because he's in a jacket, singing his lungs out, on a stage with PYRO in the 103-degree heat for fuck's sake and he puts one of those itchy feather boas on.

pic 3 & 4: Unfortunately, these were the only two pics that had Ray in them since he stayed wayyyyy over on his side and I couldn't see him. But his playing and singing was amazing as usual!

pic 5: Right before the pyro came on Gerard said "Shit!" which I took to mean that he knew it was about to happen and he didn't want to feel the heat. I could be wrong, but that's what it seemed like.

pic 6: Towards the end of the concert Gerard said (again just a paraphrase because i didn't get it all, unfortunately!) that he was sweaty and nasty and everyone should "make some noise" because of it. I love MCR and all of the band members, genuinely I do, but if Gerard didn't take a shower after that concert, he is officially a nasty motherfucker. :P

Frank was a little more sensible with his attire, since he was wearing a sleeveless shirt. He flopped down at one point and it just looked like he was hating the heat.

On the second song (which I managed to get video of! Woot Woot!) Frank's guitar string broke (I think that's what inspired his fit of rage) so he smashed up his guitar. Then he picked up the one with the zombie on it and started playing again. The picture above came after he smashed up the first guitar.

pic 7: When he came down to my end of the stage, I could see that Gerard had something written on his neck again. I think it said "Truth" but it could just as well have said "Truce" because I could only see the first three letters. I don't know why it would say "Truce," but it could've (ETA: I read a review somewhere that it did indeed say "Truth". Stil havent seen any pics of it though). I tried to get a picture of his neck, but it came out blurry. Boo! Hiss! If anyone else has proof of what it said, I'd love to see the photo.

pic 8-10: And for those of you out there wondering, there was some mild Frank/Gerard action going on. By the time it happened, I had already used up all my video space and could only take photos. But the good news is that my camera has a photo burst option which lets you take three photos in a row. They're not the best photos ever, but I did get the shots when Frank walked past Gerard and grabbed Gerard's crotch. And I got Gerard's reaction to it. It happened really quickly so it was easy to miss.

pic 11: Oh and about halfway through, Frank put either a shirt over his head (one of the one's that got thrown onstage when Gerard told the guys in the audience to take their shirts off), presumably to mop up the sweat, but maybe he just wanted to be a weirdo. In the first photo it looks like Frank is smelling his armpits but really he's trying to wrap the cloth around his head.

She's handsome, graceful, cocky, flirty, charming, protective, fashionable, chivalrous, a race car driver, drives a motorcycle has a sword, killing it in those suits, and is a certified panty dropper. She's every 90's/early 2000's lesbian's gay awakening. She's GNC as fuck. She is fiercely protective, scared of dying, and would do anything for her friends.

She's popular because she's a badass butch lesbian who is sweet and caring, not only saved the world in her universe, but saved so many young lesbians/gnc women by showing them someone they could relate to.

Great work, but for some reason, at least to me, this whole situation gets funnier when you realize a lot of us watched the original '90s English dub, where they tried to censor the lesbian part by saying they were cousins. However, they kept all the flirting scenes, so I just thought they were incestuous lesbians, and I was watching this back in the fourth grade.

But there was a lot of ridiculous censorship of anime in America, at least in the '90s and early 2000s. Probably the worst example was the original 4kids English dub of One Piece. The censorship is so bad and ridiculous. It somehow makes incestuous lesbians seem reasonable

Nahhhh this was the best episode so far by a big stretch omg. That last 5 minutes or so was just people reverse uno-ing one another nonstop lol. Ozu dumbass thought he had it all figured out blackmailing Nao and the whole time he’s the one getting played by Yoshino who you’d think would be the most oblivious here. God I love badass/smart female leads sm. Yoshino ain’t just a pretty face, she can get down and dirty too.

Before that twist though, I loved the aquarium date! They might be toxic as hell, but Yoshino and Kirishima do have their cute moments lol. It’s also funny she’s an aries and into astrology, basically my ex. I think that’s the first time I’ve seen characters having casual convos about astrology in anime like that. Felt very authentic. Yoshino trying to sneak a photo of Kirishima was cute too!

That whole ozu scene made me so uncomfortable. How tf did he get videos and pics of Kirishima and Nao??! And a weed mention in anime??? That’s real. Nao might be kind of an asshole, but I don’t wanna see her lose her career.

Dabi with a Pet Cat

• Dabi has never owned a cat, but definitely wouldn’t mind it!

• If you already had a cat before meeting him, or if you both decided to adopt/rescue one after getting together, he doesn’t care. He’s going to cherish the kitty like no tomorrow (and you of course lol)!

• He loves the look of pure black cats or pure white cats, as in no patches of other colour. It’s not a preference per se, but he would just love to have one.

• He would tease it like no tomorrow. Chasing it around the lair and/or house, pretending to have treats ready, pulling those silly TikTok pet pranks on the poor thing.

• He would spend a decent amount of free time just chilling with the kitty. He loves having movie nights with you on the couch or in bed and the cat just purring quietly between the two of you.

• Sometimes you’ll sit in the couch and be giving both of them head scratches

• The cat must have a badass name, or even a mysterious one. But he doesn’t want like a common or typical cat name, it’s gotta be unique.

• If you’ve already got a cat that doesn’t have a name that fits those criteria, he’s going to tease the life out that name and your decision lol

• He would teach the cat as many tricks as possible. Ones like roll over, stand to catch treats, etc etc

• He’s like paranoid of accidentally poisoning the cat, but he also wants to pamper the kitty. So Everytime he’s eating food in the house/lair, he’ll quickly research all of the ingredients to see which ones the cat can eat. If there’s any that are okay, your fur baby is getting fed good tonight!

• Honestly he doesn’t really mind if any furniture gets scratched up. Just as long as it doesn’t like insane or disgusting, he’s fine with a couple couches being clawed at and such. Although if that’s not something you want, he won’t argue or disagree.

• Many treats for the kitty. Your baby may or may not have put on a bit of weight just because of how many treats Dabi gives them…

• He won’t allow an absolutely obese cat if he can help it. You know that ones that genuinely look depressed because of their weight and how many disadvantages they have? Yeah. No. Not happening. If there was some kind of condition or medication or any other factor that was keeping the cat overweight, Dabi will still try his best to keep the cat healthy.

• The cat would probably use Dabi as a personal heating pad lol

• Every time the cat does something stupid, you will get a butt ton of videos and pics from Dabi. He has a seperate folder on his phone for all of these goofy moments

• He has a polaroid camera just in case he ever sees a nice scene. So if he ever catches you having a sweet or aesthetic moment with the kitty, he’ll take a quick pick and put them all in a little diary to cherish his loved ones <3

• He will 100% beg to take home every stray cat he finds while on a mission or out and about. He’ll send you photos and videos with his voice in the background pleading to take it home.

• If you get a cat together, it needs to be adopted or rescued. He hates the idea of helpless animals stuck in such sad conditions

• He definitely wants to train the cat to get used to water. If there’s ever a time where his quirk goes wild and water needs to be thrown somewhere, he doesn’t want the cat to freak out of some water. (Although the poor kitty is definitely gonna freak out over the fire anyways lmao)

hard agree with the anon who said Stolas' expressions are super punchable in those scene when he's in a bathrobe(?)

makes me wonder if the animators actually stopped to consider whether they should reign it in a bit but the script was like 'nah. give him the most insufferable self-righteous expressions possible, there's no way the viewers will start to think Blitzo is better off without Glorified Nice Guy Bird in his life'

like seriously, who approved those shots like making Stolas pull the nastiest, most vindictive expressions they could make is a good thing?

probably whoever decided Stolas screaming down the phone will throttling his imp butler was a 'badass' moment and not like, him at his pettiest and most dislikeable (seriously, I hate that shot. worst expression in the show, though I know other Stolas haters like to pick the shot where he's choking on his cereal)

Ugh, same...the shot of Stolas screaming down the phone and squeezing his imp butler so hard his eyes bulge is my go-to shot when I need a pic to illustrate, in a single picture, what an unlikable, morally bankrupt person Stolas actually is.

Of course it's lost on this crowd, who'll scrape the barrel why Stella abusing imps means she deserves whatever her brother did to her but Stolas doing the same thing is "just slapstick," but for anyone with a functioning sense of decency, that's the moment.

Some fun with Lucy, Simon, and my pal @lovelylivelyv 's Bent Halos shipchild OC, Jack Nephalem!

1 and 2: Some sparring sessions between Lucy and Jack. Since Jack lives in The Cycle where creatures sometimes attack no matter who you are and Lucy having learned self defense from her parents (and being half monster, I thought it might be fun to play with these two friends sparring together. Both of them being Addams-esque cartoony monster hybrids, I figured they'd be the type to playfully rib eachother while sparring. First shows Hijack pinning Lucy down and making a Beetlejuice/Dark revival joke while Lucy calls him a dork, and Lucy unleashing her inner Ericka (and Gomez) pinning Jack to the ground and critiquing his form. Jack responds with an animation/"Not in the book" joke. Don't worry, he's fine. Matter of fact, he likes having a gal pal who can throw him around and is 500% not scared of him.

Bonus: Imagine this with their voice claims: Alex Brightman from the musical Beetlejuice (Jack) and Sarah Sherman from SNL (Lucy.) Also, heck yes Bendy, Alice, Ericka, Possibly Drac, Mavis, and the rest of the Ink Fam are watching this and cheering on their kids like the proud parents/family members they are.

3. Simon gets in on the sparring session! He takes things much more seriously than his sister and relies more on strength, weapons, and strategy than martial arts or acrobatics. but accepts his pal Jack's friendly playful jibes, even though he's more focused on whether Jack can break through his hold. I reference a later pic here, Since Simon is a big shy good boi who's secretly badass, I show Jack commenting on his improvement from being scared as a kid by saying "Boris grew up to be Brute Boris."

Bonus: I finally came up with a possible Simon Voiceclaim: David Cross.

4. Jack and Lucy singing Kyle Allen's Recording Town! This is somewhat inspired by going through @creation-help 's posts while listening to it. Thought this would be fun to draw these two playful dramatic fucks singing this song. I could see them knocking it out of the park. This was kind of an interesting pose to crack since Lucy is 6' 2" as an adult and Toon!Jack is only 5 feet. It basically works due to toon strength, wings, and Lucy being able to levitate. (Bonus: Simon grows to 6' 4". Ericka and Drac are BREEDIN' for tall here.)

5. Some Boss Baby AU fun with toddler Jack trying to teach a pre-fangy Lucy and Simon how to scare. Somewhat inspired by the Beetlejuice musical song "Fright Night" and a joke I made on Discord with @lovelylivelyv .

I like drawing these two together, they're very similar in personality with Jack kinda being something of an inspiration for my Lucy. Completely random König's HCs I wrote down in the spawn of past few weeks

• cat person (been mentioned many times but i just had to include it anyway)

• anonymously donates to multiple organizations that help and protect animals

• one time he owned multiple male beta fishes and didn’t realize they can’t live together. It took him a long before he finally stopped buying a new one every time they fought to one’s death

• prefers simple showers to baths, not only he doesn’t really fit in them but he loves to feel the water run down his body it soothes him

• he likes sour pickles and is able to just open jar and eat it whole in one sitting

• has visible scar on his face going down from his eyebrow which he carries with him since childhood, it's a memory at one of his first "real" fights

• the most badass, rough, toughest dudes at first sight till you get to know him. He's still badass even after you know him, but you realize he's way more friendly and sweet actually

• very talkative, loves throwing random dad jokes after every sentence if he can

• metal head, don't even @ me

• he wears at least 2 massive rings

Number three - A WEASEL

Awwww weasels are so cute right? WRONG

These furry guys are actually pretty fucking metal. Weasels will bite the hell outta you. They're nocturnal - so they hate the AM.

They're slim and slender in shape and hard to catch, slippery little guys. But despite the cuteness they can fend for themselves.

Like Hobie, people underestimate how tactical and efficient they are - and they slip past people's radar.

Number two is a raccoon 😈

They're sneaky little fellas with sticky hands (like Hobie). People often look down on them or think they're trashy or grungy, but really they're very kind and even playful.

Plus they're anti waste which is really punk if you ask me. Bandits to capitalism

Raccoons are given a bad rep but trust me I know some raccoons and they're pretty cool fellas

Number one is a Raven

Ravens are badass. They're like bigger crows, with wilder feathers that stick out, like Hobies hair. They're highly intelligent, and surprise humans.

Ravens don't take lightly to disrespect and they can remember faces.

Ravens also can leave trinkets for those they like or care about - like Hobie left the watch for Gwen :)

Plus Ravens have some cool poems about them

I love animals and I love hobie and I love talking about animals and Hobie so thank you for letting me do that.

Well this is kinda a complicated post. I’ve actually had this poster a while, but have been going back and forth about posting it. On the one hand, it’s a picture of an extraordinarily hot and beautiful girl who looks absolutely magnificent in that bikini. On the other hand, it’s photographer and cosplayer and model Hannah Ray, looking absolutely magnificent in that bikini. Do I like looking at pictures of Hannah in a bikini? Yes. I mean, duh. Do I also like looking at pictures of Hannah in a cool sporty outfit, or badass boots, or as a character from some anime show I’ve never seen? Also very much yes. I guess I just worry that Hannah prefers the latter over the former and really does the bikini stuff because, well, frankly, it likely generates significant income for her. And that’s great. I’m all for that. I just hope she’s not feeling some pressure to do something she’d rather not do. I hope that bikini pics don’t lead to bikini-off pics, unless that’s what Hannah really wants to do. I just have a hunch she doesn’t really, but, as my friend @whoiwanttoday sometimes says, it’s hard to turn some things down when you have a mortgage to pay. Which makes sense. Mortgages suck. Would I like to see naked pictures of Hannah Ray? Not gonna lie… I’d look at those pics. But I’d prefer it if cosplay pics and fashion shots and maybe the occasional bikini pic would be enough to pay Hannah’s mortgage. I wish that.
