i checked the JP description of Malenia set & in the “[Miquella] possesses the wisdom, the allure, of a God” line, the word they use for “allure” is 「誘惑」

It can also be translated as “seduction”.

It’s the same word used in the DLC trailer for “seduction and betrayal” part.

Tbh, I have no crazy revelation on this. I were just thinking “why Malenia did not factor in “kindness” as a quality for a God to have when she described Miquella— oh shit which word did they use for “allure”.”

For me at least, “seduction and betrayal” has always been a general theme of what Godhood will entail.

The Fingers promised Marika power to avenge her kins & betrayed her by locking her into a cage of divinity (that brought her and her future family nothing but misery in the end), Marika accepted to be a vessel but at the same time tasked Hewg to make a weapon to slay a God (so she was always going to rebel against them), Radagon charmed Rennala then left her a husk of her former self, Miquella was seduced by the naive belief that Godhood would be the answer to all the problems but got betrayed by that ideal as it made him lose himself, Miquella charmed others and some of them felt betrayed when the charm was broken.

It’s a theme.

So this is not exactly news to me, but I think it’d be interesting to point that out.

(Like, if I’m to list out more: Ranni linked up with the Black Knives but later imprisoned Alecto when the deed is done, if you attack Fia before getting the mending rune, Godwyn’s body would attack you to protect her, but once the rune is finished (aka Godwyn achieved second life as Lord of Death), she could be murdered by D’s brother… & Fia was obviously infatuated with Godwyn.

If you write “seduction & betrayal” and draw a bunch of arrows from it… it’s pretty much in every demigod subplots. It depends on how one interpret certain events, yeah, but still.

Also: Rennala bewitching the Academy making them believe the Moon was equal to the Stars, the Fell God letting the Fire Giants borrow their power but curse them to tend to the flame for eternity, Bayle vs Placidussax, like… those whole other cans of lore worm?? Need I say more??)

Honestly Akane not being able to protest against decisions of other clock keepers is very interesting to me

He very clearly wanted to protest against holding Teru guilty but he just accepts anyways, im guessing its because hes the weakest?

Also we all know that Akane can fight back if he wanted to, yeah, he may not be able to overpower Teru but he still COULD fight back, especially since hes on his boundary he must've got a massive power boost, he isn't an idiot if he had the intentions of doing this from the start he would be ready to fight, but no he got startled because he didn't expect the event to occur, let alone the action Teru gives (they both had it coming tbh /affectionate)

He even turned his face as he explained to Teru, he knows how he looks at that moment and didn't want to be reminded.

it still drives me mad that pretty much all the 3 hopes Claude hate/ bad takes about him were kicked off by a blatantly racist fake leak. Like it was literally complete racist horseshit but people just took it and started spreading info from it around. So people just ran with that info despite nothing about it being true, leading to people making yet more absolutely terrible takes about Claude. Anywho, Claude’s great and it blows that so many fans treat him so poorly.

unpopular opinion but i'm so glad that ORBIT lost and that seokjin won. as he should. i literally hated everyone on this show who self-victimized themselves as the underdog and kept making siwon, seokjin, and dongjae the villain when it's not their fault they're good at the games?!? maybe do better idk?!? then when seungkwan finally realized that YES ORBIT AND DONGJOO DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYONE ELSE!!!! the alliance is a big fraud and everyone who is not dongjoo or orbit or that other youtuber guy who was super fucking annoying is a pawn!!! that betrayal with ORBIT giving out that other girl's number to everyone that made her get eliminated is PROOF OF THAT!!! LIKE?! ORBIT, sir at least the other alliance don't trick people into thinking they care about other contestants?! they try to save everyone and then make sacrifices of contestants they dont want to save that's not fair to them it's so weird how people can't see that they PLAY AND ACT fair but they are not. and they act so morally high and mighty when they cause everybody else to suffer EXCEPT themselves!! i want to very much limit how many details i share abt this on here just bc i know not everyone who reads here is um- rooting for me LOL but ive been in a spiral for like two months over pursuing the entertainment industry professionally translating what i ❤️ about the blog to Work work. and have been throwing my resume at some remote internships (unpaid but a foot in the door!) and i got not one but TWO!!! very exciting emails today one circling back abt an interview and one ‘when can you start’. i am truly so so happy about this i’m about to burst into tears!!!! wahhhh

This is my Backstabber OC Edward Getya, he wasn't build a backstabber but its the only shell hes got rn and he works with it. He works 2 jobs within COGS and thrives on individualisum and 10 cups of Cogfee a day, hence the mismatched repairs and whatnot (it's also cause he cannot afford proper repairs due to finatial spaghetti he's in but he's more than ok with that)

He constandly running of fumes but hes happy he gets to at least live his own life and ideas now. His dream is to one day own his own unique shell and maybe even get a manager position...

He ingame equivalent is a Lvl 9 .exe (i have a collection of screenshots from everytime i see one and explode violently)

The fact that I can't mess with him by giving him incorrect plates and wear his remaining thread of sanity thinner and thinner saddens me greatly. His sanity would not survive to the Temple of Sinnoh.
