“Heya guys, howzzitgoin’! Can you believe it? I got everyone together for a photo!
It turned out pretty well, so I thought it’d make a nice card. What do you think?
Happy holidays!”
What’s this? There’s something else attached…
“Oh, before I forget! I’ve included a picture of our background for you! You can use this to draw something in, like… you and your pals, maybe?
I felt bad since everyone couldn’t be included in the picture, so go ahead and add yourselves in! Have fun!”
Although everyone was invited to the party, not everyone could fit in the photo. Please take this backdrop to draw you, your OCs, other Sanses, or even any of the featured guests to create your own unique festive card! This is a self-insert opportunity, yes!

— cake by the ocean 𓏲 ࣪₊♡𓂃
pairing: harvey specter × reader
summary: birthday + boyfriend + beach = recipe for pleasure
warnings: smut LOL (hopefully tasteful?) (thigh riding, making out, etc.) (also tense changes? yikers so sorry gang)
wordcount: idk girl i wrote this on my phone (edit: 2.4k)
a/n: as i type this, i am sat on the beach in thailand. i'm thinking of being here with harvey. i hope u enjoy but honestly, this one is entirely for myself <3 — can be read as a continuation to beach getaway or as a standalone
(if you want to be tagged in future fics or if you have any requests, let me know! for my other fics, here's my masterlist!)
"towels?"
"got them."
"flip-flops?"
"got them, too."
"sungla-"
"sunglasses, water, snacks, spf, digital camera and polaroid camera. got them all, baby. don't you trust me?"
you look over at harvey, seeing his incredibly smug smile, and raise one eyebrow. "is it a crime to want to be prepared?" you ask incredulously. this was not the first time you'd been to the beach together, but you were always meticulous. something was always left behind and you hated paying the inflated rate for anything at the beach.
"i promise you, y/n, i have prepared. i won't let anything ruin your beach day, especially today," he told you, his tone blunt and smug, but still tender.
it was your birthday and you wanted to spend it at the beach with your boyfriend. you'd always felt a pull to the ocean, feeling most at peace and like yourself by the water, so what better place to spend your day. harvey agreed, and made a trip out of it, renting a beachside cottage for the two of you for a long weekend, even taking a few days off work and vowing to turn his phone off.
you huffed in response to his words but didn't argue further. worst case, you'd have to walk back to the cottage. it wasn't far at all, literally just across a footpath.
harvey took your face in his hands and smiled down at you, lovingly, tenderly. "i love you. let's go have a kickass, but relaxing, beach day."
you smile up at him excitedly and take one of his hands in yours, dragging him to the door, bag in tow. "then let's go! go! go!"
───────── ⋆⋅☼⋅⋆ ─────────
the walk wasn't far at all. you walked out the front door and across a footpath and there it was. a patch of soft golden sand and an expanse of water. you gasped and immediately pulled your phone out to take a picture of the view. harvey continued walking ahead, clearly in such a rush, so you took the opportunity to take a sneaky picture of him with the beautifully serene backdrop and quickly set it to your phone wallpaper.
suddenly too excited to wait any longer, you stripped off your thin t-shirt and threw it at the back of his head, leaving you in just your bikini top and denim mini-skirt.
"bet you can't catch me!" you shout towards him as you zoom past, straight towards the water with your phone still in hand. harvey just chuckled and followed behind, not running due to the bags in his hands and the need to stop and pick up your discarded t-shirt.
once you reached your loungers, you threw your phone down and stripped off your skirt, ready to go straight into the water. by this time, harvey had caught up to and was placing the bags down on one of the side tables. you heard him wolf-whistle and giggled, flattered since it was your boyfriend doing the whistling and not a stranger.
"looking super sexy, baby," he told you, stars in his eyes. you were wearing a white triangular bikini top with matching bottoms, cheeky but not obscene, and you felt good. the white emphasised your tan and your hair hung down your back in waves, making you feel like a mermaid goddess. you smiled in response to his comment, shaking your head slightly. "why don't we skip the ocean and just have sex on the beach?" he winked suggestively, causing you to snort.
"you're so stupid, that was terrible," you giggle.
you started walking to the water, ready to get in and have a soak, when you felt a pair of toned, strong arms circling your waist and before you knew it, you were up in the air.
"let me down, let me down!" you shriek, still giggling happily even though your feet weren't on the ground.
"as you wish, baby," harvey replied, voice deeper and tone filled with mischief. he started to jog a little until he was deep enough in the water to drop you.
"don't even think about it, harvey specter," you warned unconvincingly.
he dropped you in the water.
and he was in hysterics over it.
you couldn't help but join him. after all, you did want a soak. you looked up at him from the water and noticed that he was still fully clothed. you smiled at him, now sharing in his mischief and grabbed his arm, pulling him down to join you. his white t-shirt soaked through, exposed his buff upper body.
"all that boxing's really working out for you, huh?" you tease, throwing him a wink as your way of returning his earlier favour.
"oh yeah? working out for me or for you?" he asked, equally as cheeky.
he started stripping off his, now soaked, shirt and you can tell he's trying to be playfully seductive. you play along and wolf-whistle, the way he did to you, followed by pretending to rain money on him as if he was your favourite stripper in a club. he was laughing and amped it up, holding it above his head and swinging it like a lasso.
"god, you're such an idiot, harvey specter."
"you love me for it."
"sigh. i suppose i do."
he comes closer to you in the water and picks you up with ease, forcing you to wrap your legs around him. you snake your fingers into his hair, scratching lightly at his scalp. he's been growing it out slightly, per your request, and he's gone without gel today so his hair is holding the most precious wave.
"hi," you whisper, smiling as he leans in to kiss you.
"hey," he whispers back before catching your lips in a sweet and tender kiss.
well, it had started sweet and tender. but both of your half nudity mixed into the semi-public setting meant that it didn't stay that way for long. his tongue traced the seam of your lips and you graciously opened your mouth for him. you tugged his hair lightly from the root, causing him to groan. the sensation made you moan in response and your legs tightened around him. one of his hands tangled into your hair, not pulling it but just staying there. your kiss grew more aggressive and messy, moving together in a dance of passion and desire.
you pulled away, lips swollen and panting slightly, before immediately latching onto his neck, sucking and biting your way down until reaching the point where his neck and shoulder meet. you follow through on your overwhelming urge to bite him here, and he groaned again in response.
"what are you, a fuckin' vampire?" he asked, seemingly frustrated, but not with you directly. you only smile against his skin before he pulled your head back up by your hair. "we should stop here before anyone accidentally walking by gets a very x-rated show."
you sigh and jump off him, still staying close to him and holding his hand. the pair of you walk back to the loungers and you settle on yours, soaking up the sun. you hear harvey settle onto his and looking over at him, shamelessly checking him out from behind your sunglasses.
"c'mere." he gestures to his own lounger and you playfully grumble, as if you weren't silently praying that he'd offer.
you resettle on his lounger, straddling him while he sat back into the backrest.
he was still half-hard.
you smiled to yourself and he could instantly tell why. his face flushed and he just mumbled a noncommittal 'shut up' even though you hadn't said anything. you decided to taunt and tease him anyway, starting to very slowly and barely noticeably move back and forth against him. he winced and placed his hands on your hips, trying to stop your movements. he was unsuccessful and you were able to keeping grinding against him until he was painfully hard against you.
you flipped your hair to one side and leaned in closer to him. "do you think we could get off just like this?" you asked seductively, biting your bottom lip and a challenging glint in your eyes.
harvey never backed down from a challenge. you both knew this. as he watched you work your hips back and forth against him, like an erotic poem come to life on top of him, he knew this would be no different. "no reason why we can't try," he murmured, pulling you in for another kiss.
his kiss burned you from the inside out. it electrified your soul. his lips worked against yours in a way that perfectly mirrored the movement of your hips. his hand wound back into your hair but this time, he did pull it. he pulled it from the root, the way you loved, and he simultaneously bit your lower lip. the combination caused a broken moan to escape your lips and the movement of your hips stuttered.
you pulled away and grabbed his arms, pulling his hand from your hair, and pinned his hands against the cushion of the lounger. your movements against him became more forceful and purposeful after you removed his distractions.
"i'm in control now. this is for me, for my birthday," you tell him, voice gravelly. he could only nod in response but there was a fire set alight in his eyes as he watched you take your own pleasure.
your body burned with desire as you chased your high, using harvey's body in the way he once taught you to use a pillow. your movements became frantic once again as you craved more friction.
"i think your poor cunt needs my cock, baby. she won't be satisfied otherwise," he taunted from underneath you. his words sent a shiver down your spine and you shuddered, feeling yourself get even wetter.
"i disagree," you reply, trying (and failing) to reach an orgasm without his help. unfortunately, he'd practically ruined you and you knew it would be better with him. regardless, you didn't want to give him the satisfaction.
without you realising, he'd slipped one hand out of your hold. he used his thumb to slightly pull back your bikini bottoms, sticky with your arousal. you moaned and rolled your hips into him in response, happy to have one less barrier. he moved to remove his shorts, but you shook your head and instead just pushed them up his leg on one side, leaving his thigh bare.
"what are you-" you cut him off by rolling your hips against his thigh once, twice, three times, and then just riding the thick muscle. "oh, fuck," he choked out, clearly shocked at your actions. but his shock didn't stop you. "y/n, you're dripping all over my thigh, baby. you're making such a mess."
you moan and increase the speed in which that mess was spreading. you were panting and hair was starting to stick to your face from sweat induced by, both, the sun and your desire.
"want it like this, please," you whine, very obviously needy. "please, i need to cum."
"do you want my help?" harvey asked in return, his voice a rich baritone that only made you (and your pussy) need him more. you nod pathetically and whimper to emphasise your point and the look he gives you is dominant and slightly condescending, mock pout adorning his handsome face. "poor baby, you need something from me? thought you wanted me to keep my hands off, hm?"
"no, i- i didn't know. you always know what i need, harvey, please." your movements on his thigh become sloppy, the increased moisture making it hard to feel anything. harvey took pity on you and used one hand to still your hips, causing you to whine again. but his other hand he brought to your wet pussy and used your arousal against your clit, stimulating it so deliciously.
"fuck, harvey, please," you breathily moaned, head thrown back slightly in pleasure, showing off the marks he'd left on your neck the night before. he groaned at the sight and rubbed circles on your clit faster. he let one hand on your thigh and tapped it, which you took as an indication to move.
with both hands on his deliciously bare and sweaty chest, you started to move your hips again, riding his bare thigh while he circled your clit.
"look at you, baby, so desperate to cum on my thigh," he murmured. "keep moving like that against me, good girl. i'll get you to where you need."
more than his words, his tone of voice was bringing you closer to your climax. you loved when he got dominant like this and talked you through your orgasms. it was truly yummy.
"i'm close," you told him, punctuated with a moan and a long, deliberate roll of your hips against his skin.
"i know, baby. i can feel your sweet cunt clenching around nothing against my thigh. but you didn't want anything inside so you're just going to have to cum like this."
you could feel tears in your eyes as your movements became sloppier, messier, faster, more frantic. his circles against your clit didn't change. they stayed purposefully steady, exactly the contrast you needed.
you threw your head back and moaned loudly as your orgasm hit you. neither your nor his movements halted as you rode your high against his muscled thigh.
"fuck, harvey, harvey, so good, please," you moaned, fireworks shooting through your entire body. he just watched you beautifully rut against him until you eventually stopped, body twitching from overstimulation.
you fell on top of him, skin sticky from sweat and kissed his chest. "thank you," you mumbled quietly, suddenly shy and desperate to hide your face.
harvey tilted your head up by your chin and smiled at you incredibly sweetly. he pulled you up so you were at eye level and leaned in to give you the sweetest kiss, lingering for a few seconds. when he pulled away, he kissed your forehead.
"it was my pleasure."
"i feel bad; that was selfish. let me do something for you, please." your eyes searched his, worried he'd be upset.
"i don't think that's necessary, baby. it was literally my pleasure." he gestured to his crotch and your eyes widened in realisation.
"oh my god, harvey. in your pants?" you giggled, feeling proud of yourself.
"like a fuckin' schoolboy, baby," he admitted, not shy to hold his hands up. "happy birthday, sweet angel. and boy, oh boy, is she sweet."

tumblr is probably gonna compress the shit out of this because the file is so big but i edited one of my favorite frutiger aero wallpapers to use for my laptop (the irony of it being a windows device while an iphone is right there)
a lot of the frutiger aero backdrops feel strangely "liminal" and uncanny, so sprucing it up with a bit more things to look at felt natural for me
this bg is free to use!!! though i don't mind credit. i used this to make the bubble text btw!!!
i might make more wallpapers... i'll update this post if i make a tag for them

Luxury on a Budget: Affordable Interior Design Hacks
Creating a luxurious home environment doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag. With a few smart design choices and creative hacks, you can transform your space into a stylish and sophisticated haven without breaking the bank. Whether you’re redecorating a single room or your entire home, these affordable interior design tips will help you achieve a high-end look on a budget get interior designers in south delhi.
1. Invest in Statement Pieces
Maximize Impact with Focal Points: One of the most effective ways to create a luxurious feel is to invest in a few key statement pieces that draw the eye and anchor the room. This could be a bold piece of artwork, a unique coffee table, or a plush area rug. These items don’t have to be expensive; look for sales, second-hand stores, or online marketplaces where you can find high-quality pieces at a fraction of the cost. A well-chosen focal point can elevate the entire space, giving it a designer feel.
Mix High and Low: Combine your statement pieces with more affordable items to create a balanced look. For example, pair a vintage armchair with a budget-friendly sofa, or a designer light fixture with a simple, minimalist dining table. The contrast will make the more expensive pieces stand out while keeping your overall spending in check you can always look for budget-friendly interior designers in delhi.
2. Use Paint to Transform Your Space
Color as a Tool for Luxury: A fresh coat of paint can do wonders for any room, and it’s one of the most cost-effective ways to make a dramatic change. Choose colors that exude luxury, such as deep blues, rich grays, or soft neutrals. These tones can create a sophisticated backdrop for your decor and make your space feel more cohesive and well-designed.
Accent Walls and Bold Choices: Consider creating an accent wall with a bold color or textured wallpaper to add depth and interest to your space. A dark, moody wall can make a room feel cozy and elegant, while a light, bright color can open up the space and make it feel airy and expansive.
3. Upgrade with Affordable Accessories
Stylish Hardware and Fixtures: Swapping out outdated hardware on cabinets, doors, and drawers is a simple and inexpensive way to give your home a more luxurious feel. Choose office interior designers in noida hardware in finishes like brass, matte black, or brushed nickel for a modern and sophisticated look. Similarly, updating light fixtures to more contemporary or unique designs can instantly elevate the ambiance of a room.
Layered Textures and Fabrics: Adding layers of texture is key to creating a rich, luxurious look. Incorporate a mix of materials like velvet, faux fur, silk, and linen in your throw pillows, blankets, and curtains. These elements add warmth and depth to a space, making it feel more inviting and upscale. You can find affordable textiles at home decor stores or online retailers, and mixing patterns and textures can help create a custom, designer feel.
4. Incorporate Mirrors for Elegance
Mirrors as Design Elements: Mirrors are a designer’s secret weapon for making spaces feel larger and more luxurious. They reflect light and create the illusion of more space, which is especially useful in smaller rooms. Look for mirrors with interesting frames or shapes that add a touch of glamour to your walls. You can often find affordable options at thrift stores or discount retailers.
Strategic Placement: Place mirrors strategically to maximize their impact. For instance, a large mirror above a fireplace or console table can become a stunning focal point, while smaller mirrors grouped together can create an eye-catching gallery wall. The key is to use mirrors to enhance the natural light and create a sense of depth in the room.
5. Declutter and Curate Your Space
Less is More: A cluttered space can feel chaotic and detract from the overall luxury of a room. One of the simplest and most cost-effective ways to elevate your home’s design is to declutter. Remove unnecessary items, organize your belongings, and focus on curating a space that feels intentional and refined. Invest in stylish storage solutions that keep clutter out of sight and contribute to the room’s aesthetic.
Curated Decor: When it comes to decor, choose pieces that have a personal meaning or add value to your space. Instead of filling your home with generic items, select decor that tells a story, whether it’s a piece of art from a local artist, a vintage vase, or a collection of books that you love. This curated approach creates a more luxurious and individualized space.
6. Opt for Affordable Art and Decor
Art on a Budget: Art doesn’t have to be expensive to make a statement. Explore local art fairs, online marketplaces, or even DIY your own artwork to add personality and style to your home. Consider framing fabric, wallpaper samples, or photographs for a custom look. The right piece of art can tie a room together and add a touch of sophistication without the high price tag affordable interior designers in delhi.
DIY Decor Projects: Get creative with DIY decor projects that can add a personal touch to your space. Whether it’s repurposing old furniture, creating a gallery wall, or crafting your own decorative pieces, DIY projects allow you to customize your home while keeping costs low. The time and effort you invest will result in unique, high-quality decor that reflects your personal style.
7. Use Greenery to Add Life
Incorporate Plants for a Fresh Look: Plants are an affordable way to add life, color, and luxury to your home. Whether it’s a large potted plant in the corner of your living room or small succulents on your windowsill, greenery can instantly elevate the ambiance of any space. Choose planters that complement your decor style, and consider using a variety of plant sizes and types to create visual interest.
Faux Plants for Low Maintenance: If you’re not confident in your green thumb, opt for high-quality faux plants that require no maintenance but still add a touch of nature to your space. With advancements in design, faux plants can look incredibly realistic and provide the same aesthetic benefits as real ones.
8. Embrace Timeless Design Choices
Classic Over Trendy: When decorating on a budget, it’s wise to invest in timeless pieces rather than trendy items that may go out of style quickly. Classic furniture, neutral color palettes, and elegant decor items will stand the test of time and continue to look luxurious for years to come. This approach not only saves you money in the long run but also ensures your home always feels stylish and sophisticated.
Quality Over Quantity: Focus on quality over quantity when making design choices. It’s better to have a few well-made pieces than a lot of cheap, low-quality items. Look for furniture and decor that’s built to last, even if it means spending a bit more upfront. The longevity and durability of these items will contribute to a more luxurious feel in your home you can always contact Delhi interior designer contact number.
Conclusion
Creating a luxurious home doesn’t have to be an expensive endeavor. By using these affordable interior design hacks, you can achieve a high-end look that’s both stylish and budget-friendly. Whether you’re investing in key statement pieces, updating your space with a fresh coat of paint, or adding layers of texture, these tips will help you transform your home into a luxurious retreat without overspending.

Top 10 Budget-Friendly Home Renovation Hacks You Need to Know
Introduction
Welcome to the ultimate guide on home renovations Vaughan! If you're eager to transform your living space without breaking the bank, you're in the right place. Our team at NorthernCM has compiled the top 10 budget-friendly home renovation hacks that will not only elevate your space but also save you a considerable amount of money.
1. Strategic Paint Choices
When it comes to revitalizing your home, a fresh coat of paint works wonders. Opt for neutral tones to create a timeless look that complements various decor styles. Earthy tones like beige and gray not only add sophistication but also provide a versatile backdrop for any design scheme.
2. DIY Accent Walls
Create a focal point in any room with a DIY accent wall. Whether you choose peel-and-stick wallpaper or get creative with a can of paint, an accent wall adds visual interest without the need for a major investment. Experiment with textures and patterns to make a bold statement.
3. Repurpose and Upcycle Furniture
Before rushing to buy new furniture, consider repurposing and upcycling what you already have. A fresh coat of paint, new hardware, or a clever rearrangement can breathe new life into old pieces. This not only saves money but also contributes to a sustainable approach to home design.
4. Budget-Friendly Flooring Solutions
Modern flooring doesn't have to be an expensive project. Look at less expensive options such as vinyl plank flooring or laminate. For a far lower price, these materials have a similar appearance to hardwood. They're also very simple to install, which makes them ideal for do-it-yourself projects.
5. Energy-Efficient Lighting
Enhance the ambiance of your home while cutting down on energy costs with LED lighting. LED bulbs are not only energy-efficient but also have a longer lifespan, reducing the frequency of replacements. Consider installing dimmer switches for added flexibility in creating the perfect atmosphere.
6. Smart Technology Integration
Upgrade your home with smart technology to enhance convenience and efficiency. Smart thermostats, lighting systems, and security cameras not only make your life easier but can also increase the overall value of your property. Look for budget-friendly options that align with your specific needs.
7. Revitalize Your Kitchen Cabinets
Renew your kitchen's cabinets to give it a new look. Consider repainting or refinishing them rather than replacing them. To add even more contemporary flair, install new hardware. The heart of your house can be dramatically changed with an easy-to-use yet powerful hack, all without breaking the bank.
8. Creative Storage Solutions
Maximize space and minimize clutter with creative storage solutions. Utilize under-bed storage, install floating shelves, or invest in multipurpose furniture. A well arranged home feels more airy and welcoming in addition to looking nicer.
9. Enhance Curb Appeal on a Budget
Attract more attention from the curb without breaking the bank. Simple tasks like repainting the front door, adding potted plants, and updating house numbers can make a significant difference. These small investments create a welcoming exterior that leaves a lasting impression.
10. DIY Landscaping
Transform your outdoor space into a tranquil retreat with budget-friendly landscaping ideas. Planting low-maintenance perennials, creating a DIY path with inexpensive materials, and adding outdoor lighting can elevate your garden without a hefty price tag.

Budget-Friendly Home Makeovers: Kitchen, Bathroom, and More
Renovating your home and giving it a fresh new look doesn't have to break the bank. With a dash of creativity, a sprinkle of resourcefulness, and a well-thought-out plan, you can achieve stunning makeovers in key areas like the kitchen, bathroom, and beyond, all while staying within your budget.
Revitalizing the Heart of Your Home: Kitchen on a Budget
The kitchen is often referred to as the heart of the home, and sprucing it up doesn't have to drain your savings. Start by considering a simple yet effective paint job. A fresh coat of paint on the cabinets can instantly breathe new life into your kitchen. Opt for neutral tones that create a sense of openness and versatility.
Another budget-friendly trick is to update your hardware. Swapping out old handles and knobs for modern, stylish options can give your cabinets and drawers a completely different look. You'll be surprised at how this small change can make a big impact.
When it comes to countertops, explore cost-effective materials like laminate or butcher block. These options offer durability without the hefty price tag of their more upscale counterparts. Adding a colorful backsplash using peel-and-stick tiles is yet another affordable way to inject personality into your kitchen.
Elevating Everyday Luxury: Bathroom Transformations on a Budget
The bathroom is a sanctuary where small changes can result in big rewards. Consider giving your bathroom vanity a facelift by refinishing or painting it. This is a cost-effective alternative to replacing the entire unit. Swapping out old faucets and fixtures for new ones can also make a significant difference.
Updating your bathroom's lighting can create a cozy and inviting ambiance. Look for stylish yet affordable light fixtures that complement the overall theme of the space. Adding a fresh coat of waterproof paint to the walls can instantly brighten up the room and provide a clean backdrop for your bathroom's makeover.
Charm on a Shoestring: Living Areas and Bedrooms
Living areas and bedrooms are the canvas of your home's personality. A budget-friendly way to refresh these spaces is by rearranging your furniture layout. Experiment with different configurations to create a new sense of flow and visual interest. Incorporating colorful and patterned throw pillows or blankets can add vibrancy without the need for a complete overhaul.
Consider creating an accent wall as a focal point. Wallpaper, stencils, or a bold paint color can transform a plain wall into a work of art. Investing in versatile, affordable furniture pieces like multipurpose storage ottomans or modular shelving can provide both functionality and style.
Mindful Makeovers: Eco-Friendly and Sustainable Choices
While working within a budget, don't overlook the eco-friendly aspect of your makeovers. Sustainable choices can be cost-effective and have a positive impact on the environment. Upcycling furniture, using reclaimed materials, and choosing energy-efficient appliances can help you save money in the long run while reducing your carbon footprint.
The Budget-Friendly Makeover Mindset: Planning and Prioritization
The key to successful budget-friendly home makeovers lies in careful planning and prioritization. Start by setting a realistic budget for each area you want to renovate. Research and compare prices for materials, fixtures, and accessories. Make a list of must-haves and nice-to-haves, allowing you to allocate your resources efficiently.
Consider tackling one room at a time to avoid feeling overwhelmed. This approach not only allows you to focus your efforts but also prevents the need to splurge all at once. Remember that small, thoughtful changes can accumulate to create a stunning transformation.
In Conclusion
Achieving a budget-friendly home makeover is an exciting endeavor that showcases your creativity and resourcefulness. By focusing on strategic updates, clever DIY projects, and a mindful approach to sustainability, you can breathe new life into your living spaces without straining your finances. Remember, a little imagination goes a long way in creating the home of your dreams.

Best Budget-Friendly Ideas for Stunning Home Interior Design
Are you looking to transform your home into a stunning space without breaking the bank? Look no further! At Robust Design Studio, we understand the importance of creating a refined and meaningful interior design that reflects your lifestyle and brand identity. With nearly 5 years of experience in the industry, we specialize in providing full-service interior design solutions for both residential and commercial spaces of all sizes. In this article, we will share 10 budget-friendly ideas to help you achieve the home interior design of your dreams.
Repurpose and Upcycle Furniture
When it comes to creating a budget-friendly interior design, repurposing and upcycling furniture can be a game-changer. Instead of buying new furniture, consider giving your existing pieces a fresh look. Give that old wooden dresser a fresh coat of paint or reupholster your worn-out sofa with new fabric. Not only will this save you money, but it will also add a unique and personal touch to your home.
Embrace Thrift Shopping
Thrifting is not only a great way to save money but also an opportunity to discover one-of-a-kind pieces for your home. Visit local thrift stores, flea markets, and online marketplaces to find hidden gems that can elevate your interior design.
DIY Artwork and Decorations
Express your creativity and save money by creating your own artwork and decorations. Whether you're painting a canvas, making macrame wall hangings, or crafting decorative items from recycled materials, DIY projects allow you to personalize your space while staying within your budget.
Utilize Natural Lighting
Maximize the natural lighting in your home to create a bright and inviting space. Remove heavy curtains and opt for sheer or light-colored window treatments that allow sunlight to filter through. Additionally, strategically placing mirrors on walls opposite windows can help bounce light around the room, making it appear larger and more open.
Paint and Refresh Walls
A fresh coat of paint can instantly transform the look and feel of a room. Choose light, neutral colors to create a timeless and versatile backdrop that can easily be updated with accessories and furniture. If you're feeling adventurous, consider adding an accent wall with a bold color or wallpaper to make a statement without breaking the bank.
Rearrange Furniture and Accessories
Sometimes, a simple rearrangement of furniture and accessories can breathe new life into a space. Experiment with different layouts and configurations to find the most functional and visually appealing arrangement. Don't be afraid to mix and match pieces from different rooms or repurpose items for a fresh perspective.
Incorporate Indoor Plants
Indoor plants not only add a touch of natural beauty to your home but also provide numerous health benefits. They improve air quality, reduce stress, and create a calming atmosphere. Look for low-maintenance plants such as snake plants, pothos, or succulents that require minimal care and can thrive in various lighting conditions.
Add Personal Touches
Lastly, don't forget to add personal touches that reflect your personality and interests. Display cherished photographs, mementos from travels, or artwork created by loved ones. Incorporating these personal elements into your home interior design will make it truly unique and meaningful to you.
At Robust Design Studio, we believe that a stunning home interior design doesn't have to come with a hefty price tag. By implementing these budget-friendly ideas, you can create a space that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also a true reflection of your style and personality.

Cabin Bathrooms That Are Both Comfortable and Quirky
Whether you’re planning a vacation to the mountains or a cruise ship, you’re likely to find a cabin bathroom that’s both comfortable and a little quirky. Whether it’s a bathtub that looks like it sprouted from the ground or a toilet paper dispenser that’s thin as a feather, here are some ideas for the best cabin bathrooms.
Toilet paper is thin on cruise ships
Using a cruise line’s plethora of toilets for the duration of your trip is not for the faint of heart. The most common complaint is that the toilets aren’t as clean as they should be. Luckily, there are a few ways to ensure a clean cabin. The most obvious is to clean the toilets frequently. Another is to bring along a few travel toiletries. This may sound trite, but it will make your trip much more pleasant.
There are many other ways to ensure a pleasant voyage, from prepping your suitcase for your onward journey to arranging for your spouse to be chauffeured around the ship. While you’re at it, why not consider a pre-cruise stay in a local hotel for a day?
Stone bathtubs add to the woodsy quality of the cabin
Adding a stone bathtub to a cabin bathroom can add a woodsy aesthetic to the room. This type of bathtub can also be incorporated in any style of bathroom. A stone bathtub is not only attractive but also can be an energizing bath for the bather.
Stone bathtubs have a variety of different shapes and designs. These tubs can be made of natural stone or recycled materials. The former is more durable and can last for many years.
Choosing a freestanding stone tub is a popular choice for many bathers. These tubs offer a classic, vintage look and are easy to install. They are also portable and can be moved from one home to another. Stone bathtubs are available in a variety of shapes and sizes, including corner tubs, round tubs, oval tubs, and alcove tubs.
Vanity unit looks like it sprouted from the ground
Vanity units are ubiquitous in our otherwise cookie-cutter lives, but they can be a pain to install and maintain. Luckily, there are numerous online resources where you can find a quality vanity at a fair price. Choosing a vanity unit isn’t a difficult task, but you will still need to do your homework before making your final purchase. The best vanity units are made of quality materials and offer the utmost in functionality. The best of the best are often accompanied by a hefty price tag, but this isn’t always the case. The cheapest vanity units are often found on discount sites like Home Depot or Lowe’s. Those that can’t be purchased at a discount can usually be found on sites like Craigslist or eBay.
Curtains make a cabin bathroom feel cozy
Adding rustic touches to your cabin bathroom can make it feel cozy and warm. There are many ways to add a rustic touch, such as using raw natural materials, such as wood and stone. You can also find many different accessories that can help you achieve the rustic look you’re going for. Some of these include wrought iron mirrors, metal bathtub caddies, and apothecary-inspired jars.
If you’re going for a rustic feel, try hanging your curtains from either side instead of from the top. This will add visual interest to the room, and you can even match them with air plants to create a more lively atmosphere. This style works particularly well with pastel flowers.
Another idea is to add a rustic accent wall, such as a wooden accent wall. This can be a great way to add a natural look to your bathroom, and you can even paint the wall for extra character. You can also place built-in shelves behind the bathtub for storage.
Modern bathroom decor can be glam
Using a flamingo wallpaper for your bathroom’s backdrop isn’t the only way to add a touch of whimsy to your space. A swanky set of drawers with hand carved doors and cabinets is a great way to add storage to a small space. The same goes for a nice bathtub. While the old standby of a big tub could take up an entire wall, a built in shelf can be installed behind the tub.
The modern bathroom has a wealth of options, from sleek fixtures to bespoke cabinetry and tile. Take a gander at some of these pictures to get some great ideas for your own space. Using the right combination of hardware and fixtures can make your space look bigger and better than you could imagine.

The bathroom is often the most overlooked room in your house. It’s easy to see why it’s usually small and hidden away, and it’s probably the last place you’d expect to spend a significant amount of time. But the truth is, the bathroom is one of the most important rooms in your home. It is a functional space for bathing and washing and a social hub for your entire household. So it makes sense that you want to ensure it looks its best. That’s why Vancouver Kitchen Renovation specializes in bathroom renovations. Whether you’re interested in updating your current bathroom or building a brand new one from scratch, we can help you create the perfect space for your whole family. We believe that bathrooms should look spa-like, sustainable, and modern. In addition to being practical spaces, they should also feel warm and inviting. With that in mind, we strive to incorporate natural materials, open floor plans, and lots of light.
We understand that to be successful is to stay ahead of the curve. That means staying current with the latest technology and design trends. We always want to improve our products or services without breaking the bank. That’s why we stay connected to the latest technologies of NKBA, National Kitchen and Bath Association. Bathroom Remodeling Budgeting in Real Life
How To
How to design a master bath
A master bathroom design should take into account a few factors. The first is to consider the size of your master bathroom and the fixtures you desire. You should also choose a style and color that you enjoy, as well as one that complements the overall design of your home. Select materials that are resistant to water and wear. Finally, make sure to personalize the space.
A great way to ensure your master bath feels luxurious is to add a spa-like experience. Add a steamer, heated towel racks, candles-scented candles, and a sauna to your master bath. These small details create a relaxing atmosphere for bathing.
Good lighting is also important in a master bathroom. A master bathroom should have adequate lighting so that you can read or work while you bathe. Choose a color that will not distract from the beauty and elegance of your bathroom if you are going to install a Skylight.
Your master bathroom doesn’t have to be extravagant. Keep it simple, clean and to the point. You can avoid bright colours by using neutral tones. Once the bathrooms are completed, you’ll be able to see the difference in the rest of the house.
Storage is important! You need storage space in every room, but it is especially important in the master bathroom. Make sure you invest in high-quality cabinets and that everything has a home. You will be amazed at how much easier it makes to keep your bathroom clean when everything has its own place.
These are just a few tips to help you design the perfect master bathroom. This space is yours, so make it yours. Take your time, enjoy the process and take it all in stride.
