Ever since Subject One was introduced, I've always wondered on what his reaction would be to Casey Jr. Not the apocalypse one, the past one.

Casey Jr is somewhat similar to Subject one, as what I've seen. And although we haven't seen what Casey Jr canonly went through, we do know he's been hell and back through the apocalypse.

He, most likely, been raised to kill and fight, mainly kraang (or krang). But, the mentality of killing and fighting your whole life does have backdraws.

Subject One has fought for somewhat of his childhood before he escaped. He still has that mentality of killing, but has been helped by his brothers to becoming himself after years(?). He tries his best to not kill, fight for his life like he used too. He wants his brothers to be happy, so he tries his best.

Casey Jr on the other hand fought for 14-16(?) years of his life. A lot more then Subject One, and I wonder how he'll react to that. A child who seen his friends, family, and so many more die in the hands of the krang. A child who keeps fighting and fighting without taking one break.

I'm not sure on how you're write Casey Jr (if you want to /nf) but something about Subject one meeting Casey Jr. It gives me so many questions.

Ok, ok, first thing first aksjdj their traumas are, I believe, highly different. Casey Jr was born in an apocalyptic world, so there's some things his family can't protect him from. Casey Jr is bound to know that something dangerous lurks outside, and thus he can't feel the sun kissing his skin. He's bound to notice that sometimes people don't come back, the inevitability of death and mortality. He's bound to know about scarce resources, sometimes people go hungry, or die because of lack of medicine / equipment. Sometimes there's not enough weapons or shields or beds or clothes for winter.

But all of this is something he's shielded from to the best of his family's ability. He knows because he grew up on this circumstances, but he's never forced to fight.

Not like Subject One, who was engineered to be a weapon for war. The system that was trained ever since he could walk without falling. Taught that humanity is their enemy, that Draxum's animalistic creatures and other mutants/yokai are means to an end, are tools to be used and discarded as the situation demands, because the most important thing is to eradicate humanity. Once humas have gone extinct, then the yokai race will know peace and sunlight, they will thrive. The sacrifice of the few doesn't matter, as it brings the well-being of the many.

The ends justify the means.

Subject One is not family and not a child to be shielded. He's a soldier in training.

Now... How do they interact?

I think Present!One would be very understanding about Casey's Jr. "Kill first" mentality when it comes to serious battles. One could help with some tips on how to squash down that instinct, that knee-jerk reaction to kill the opponent.

Future!One in Casey's Jr reality? He fronts a lot mote often, the situation calls for it.... He may end up becoming the host, even. (Host is the one that fronts most of the time/more often)

One is am adult when the apocalypse commences, so his trauma piles up along with all others as the war rages on and they keep losing.

I think One wouldn't seek interactions with Casey Jr, but would carry him around if the kid reaches for him. May instruct Casey Jr a bit if One is still alive by the time Casey is older.

I won't explore the apocalypse or the movie events in Canon Teb, but ohhhh was this interesting to contemplate! Hope it answered the question kaksjs 🤗💕

I guess having a Salarian boyfriend wouldn't work out for me because I be gulping down them eggs like the gulpatron 2000. And I would give up that Salarian dick way before I give up my full egg, full surgar, full dairy brownies, and flan man.

My brother in alien fuckery that salarian dick wasn't even an option before the eggs, they might smooch humans but nothing further, their libido is as grandiose as their luscious headfulls of hair.

Assuming you're a romantic bondmate with one, they wouldn't expect you to give up a necessary part of your diet—eggs are an amazing and affordable source of protein in comparison to the cost and preparation time of meat.

But...they'll still be horrified, it's ingrained into their biology; fail safe preventive measure so they don't end up eating their own eggs back from their primitve days, much like humans adore kittens and puppies so much because our brain unconsciously associates them with human babies.

Humans aren't subtle either, the eggs are right fucking there when you open the fridge, staring you in the face, lined up at the door. If you're bunking with a salarian, maybe be more considerate and get your own mini fridge... or hide the eggs in a backdrawer, remember to stuff the shells at the bottom of the trashcan.

Because once the eggs are broken, the facade falls apart, and the resemblance ends. Most humans couldn't tell apart a 1 day old fetus from a piece of chewed gum, you can whisk eggs safely and include them in dishes. As long as they're not boiled or "egg" shaped then you're in the clear.

It's just that the curse of knowledge and perfect memory will haunt them with every tasty mouthful of those delicious mouthwatering brownies they just watched you make.

The only silver lining is easter eggs. Salarians would absolutely coo over the little colored eggs and smile at all the hand drawn designs....until they figure out that we decorate them, hide them and play a game of search...only so we may eat them, too.

Kindle Mini Review

Size- I love the size so far! It fits into my everyday bag, but when I am at school and don't want to have it in my backpack, it's great, a perfect size to hold. It is also very light! Saves on so much space and can carry multiple books! Battery- I have charged it once to 100% and in like the week I have had it, it is barely at 88% Book Reading- I opted out of Kindle Unlimited since I use Libby. Getting books from Libby to the kindle has been a BREEZE. I like that there are multiple options for what to look at, the percent you have read, what page you are on, how much longer to finish. All very fun features. Display- Some people said that they did not like the little glitchiness to it that comes with scrolling or changing the page. While it can be off putting, I do not find it bothersome. I like the adjusted brightness and the warmth. It makes it so much more comfortable to read. Especially with the matte screen. Some book pages are to white. Maybe a backdraw for some, but there is no color. I do not mind, since I get book recommendations elsewhere, tumblr, instagram and bookstores Enjoyment- I love it! I have had this for less than a week (6 days) but, I have already read like 60% of a book! Cannot recommend it enough.

The energy absorption does have its backdraws for Wolf! The more energy she takes, the more energized she feels, but since her body works like a battery/vault, if she is too full of energy she tends to go into like, a dormant state, where she wont wake up until her body has burnt through enough energy to continue as normal (its kind of like a self-preservation mechanism, too much energy could potentially kill her, so her body shuts down to burn through the stored energy before she can get to that point lol) She cannot fight this "coma" state and is absolutely helpless and vulnerable as long as her body thinks it has too much energy.

Wolf first met Macaque bc the monkey had the gall to pass out in her garden, and he looks so pathetic and small she goes "eh, its a slow day, might as well" since she was kind of bored. Macaque wakes up from getting his ass beat to suddenly finding himself in temporary house arrest by a doctor known for eating her patients, and instantly goes "Self-preservation doesn't exist, i am going to annoy and threaten this very dangerous demon as long as I can". Macaque, though, was in such a bad state, that its like if you were being annoyed and threatened by like a fucking ant, Wolf initially found him too pathetic to kill, but as Macaque healed, she found him just too funny to kill. They have somewhat of the Pigsy-Tang friendship dynamic, except Wolf is just vibin with this funny and pathetic little monkey who's too poor to afford anything while Macaque thinks he is just one (1) second away from getting killed and eaten but refuses to stop because free healing in exchange of small favors is too good of a deal to pass up.

Wolf is strictly forbidden from meeting DBK or PIF in the present by RedSon, mostly bc Red very firmly thinks his mother would either hate or love Wolf, and he is not ready to see the disaster it could bring. Wolf only allows this bc she will meet either parent at one point or another, she is just letting Red dream a bit and let him think he has some control over this whole situation. Wolf does have a vaguely godmother/cool aunt vibe towards Red, neither really directly acknowledges it though besides Wolf using it as teasing material. But Red does spend a lot of time at Wolf's clinic though, and Wolf does allow Red to ramble abt his petty drama, so they do have this vague familiar thing going on that neither will acknowledge until the other does (Wolf bc she thinks is amusing to see Red fret, and Red bc he internally already accepted Wolf as some sort of figure in his life he just forgot to say it to Wolf lmao)

ok see i like those drawbacks because they make sense in my head—when i used to be into BNHA, i of course made an OC whose quirk was empathy/emotional energy absorption/manipulation and if they absorbed too much and didn't expend it, rather than a coma, it sent him into a severe uncontrollable episode of mania. i think all that's real fun :3c

i really like her relationships with maq and red, they're fun goofy dynamics that are easy to digest and not loaded with a bunch of drama, but also that she seems to stand on equal ground with them. it also reflects on her really well as a quick-witted character with a kind of elegance to her.

which of red's parents does she end up meeting first? does red end up being right about iron fan's reaction? eye think they'd get along famously tbh and i'd love to see them interact. wolf has that no-bullshit behavior i think iron fan would like, though she doesn't have iron fan's slight flare for the dramatic lol

As discussed, AI is currently helping businesses to automate their operational procedures. This has affected various lives as now humans are being replaced by AI in businesses and industries. Due to AI technologies it has pretty easy to create fake videos and contents of real people. This can be used to spread wrong information and even create porn without taking necessary permissions. This can have a severe impact on the individual’s career. But this technology is getting better day by day thus, the chances of people getting duped are also increasing at an alarming rate

Moving twitter ramble to here: I feel the official ages of the Madrigal triplets is too high at 50; it means Julieta didn’t have the first grandchild until she was 28, and that Pepa was FORTY-FIVE when she had Antonio. With Isabela feeling so much pressure to marry and have kids at 22, it just feels like a stretch.

Shifting their ages down to 45 makes everything click into place: 40 is fairly late to have kids but much more common than 45, and Julieta would be near Isabela’s age when she got married!

This also makes Bruno and Julieta’s graying hair more poignant (not that it’s unusual to have graying hair at 45, but it’s more advanced for them than Pepa). Bruno’s anxiety and decade-long self-exile is an obvious reason for his, but what about Julieta? What could the backdraw of her gift be?

Imagine having the pressure that someone might die if you didn’t work just a *little* harder, cook a bit more food, feed not just a large family but an entire village, and having extra just in case of emergencies, on top of raising three children and trying to keep your accident-prone husband alive. Another idea for the kid but not a kid mc brain rot.

The first time MC gets sick. Being from another world her body isn't immunized to the illnesses in twisted wonderland. She has no protection at all to their diseases. Luckly being in the body of a kid around 5-7...reader isn't sure how old the body is... she'll bounce back easier. But being magicless what of magical illnesses? Things that require a magic core to fight off.

Mc isn't supposed to be able to get those illnesses, but the young adaptive body coupled with the exposure to so much magic and overbolts she is developing her own magic. It's weak as of now, which for a child is expected. But the whole school is surprised. More so the ones closest to Mc, as she'd told all of them her world doesn't have magic. The teachers have to figure out how to help little mc properly develope a magic core from nothing and the backdraws of that. They also need to get her properly homed. She can't go back to a magicless world when she now has magic. The world lack of magic could sap the small core and kill you. Not worth the risk.

Those custody battles? Back in full force but far more brutal because the information you can't go back is spreading. Though all of them are being careful, from staff to students to not let Mc know what is going on. What would happen to the child mentally to find out she was no longer able to go home? That could be upsetting enough to cause the developing core to overbolt ans that would be an instant death for how small it is.

What they are unaware of is two things, 1 having grown up with out magic your body can be completely drained of magic and you'd survive; be a bit sleepy and hungry but alive. And 2 you aren't as niavie as they think you are, you know something is up and your going to find out what.

Want to fight for your rights but you're white, cishet, well-off? Tired of checking your privilege? Feminism isn't your thing? Try being anti-vaxx! It'll give you the luxury to act as a victim without the backdraws of actually being one. Invent your own facts to justify why you are entitled to, or don't actually endanger others and prolong the fucking pandemic for your own convenience. Or, if you'd rather find a source to back you up, make sure there's a good story why your "expert" disagrees with the general scientific consensus. (Pro Tip: Big Pharma.) Then you can happily compare your experience to racism or antisemitism and feel validated.
