In a rather small but important deviation from their previous works, Royal Blood presented us with a calmer introspective album. While there are high energy tracks that are somewhat a signature of Royal Blood, like Mountains At Midnight and Tell Me When It's Too Late, there are several more quieter tracks. This overall makes the peaks of energy hit harder and the quieter tracks allow the space to breathe, and absorb some of the lyrical content. Overall this album feels like it's meant to be a journey, where one grows and changes along the way, and possibly finds the light within.

after waiting for what felt like an eternity for the delivery company to get their act together 🙄 I finally have ultimate bundle for the new album by Royal Blood, Back To The Water Below! 💖 you get quite a lot of things with this bundle in fairness, I especially love all the formats you receive as well as the t-shirt, also nice to get a little signature from Mike and Ben also 😊 as for the album, it's really good! a bit on the short side, but not to it's detriment as none of the songs feel as though they outstay their welcome, a bit on the soft side for what I'd expect from the boys but it's nice to hear them do something fresh and come into their own honestly 😁 also I must say one of the bonus tracks, Supermodel Avalanches, is one of the best tracks I've heard in a while 😲 shame it wasn't on the full album but I can see why, it doesn't exactly fit the tone of the rest of the album, still glad we got to hear it though 😊 so yea if you couldn't tell already I'm really liking this album, Royal Blood is my favourite band so I'm so glad they've come out with another banger that I can appreciate thoroughly (across at least 3 formats lol 😆) 💖
