Also, she kept getting sexy romantic lead parts in Hollywood after the age of 40, which would be rare even now. She hated Nazis, loved her friends, and had a sapphic social circle in Hollywood. 🕸💚💜Slappy Laszlo Ita Bag💜💚🕸

My best friend was making an ita bag for her favorite character and I figured I wanted one too!❤ I had a lot of fun making it <3 I got to show this off at a con and got jumpscared when I realized I was sitting next to a twt mutual at a panel who said she loved my bag :D

Here's a closer look of the monstrosity <3 It was a nightmare making the rosette but imo 100% worth it

i handmade a slappy plush just to add on the bag. I gave up sewing half way and just started hot gluing the shit out of him. He was literally made in a single day😢

His body is really wonky. He looks thin😔 I wanted him to be kinda chibiesque with a large head and small body (well more than usual I mean) but my sister said it looks like if he was on ozempic💔💔💔💔

Moving on, here is the insert! I cut up an old spiderweb t shirt to use as a lining over the insert, I also bought plastic bugs from the dollarstore and painted them pastels to match Slappy(the bag of bugs was labeled "reptiles" at the dollar store but there was no reptiles! Isnt that odd?)

Slappy has no official merch so I had to make everything. I feared it would not be enough and I hate empty spaces so the bugs are there to fill out any gaps.

The buttons I also made. The library downtown has a fabrication studio so my bestie and I spend an afternoon making a gazillion buttons of our favorite characters.

Duality of man💯

The eyeballs were the most time consuming to make surprisingly enough! They're made from clay from dollar tree, I do not recommend, extremely fragile. I had to do this twice because it kept crumbling. Eventually I figured it out, covered it in many layers of mod podge, painted it over then shaded with eyeshadow. The pupils themselves are glass eyes, I forgot I bought them back in 2022 for doll purposes but it came in handy! These were originally pink eyes but I ripped off the backing and painted them over purple.

I wanted them to go in the center of the bag bows because that's a very pastel goth motive to have bows with eyeballs. And its very Slappy to have his soft boiled Peter Lorre buggy eyes in bows! :D Slappy's green color scheme can very easily be pastel goth. I have a vision💯💯💯

Anyways worst of making this was gluing on the false lashes! I'm not a makeup wearer so I have zero experience with any of this. But I will tell you that I was at my wits end trying to make the false lashes stick. I have a new found respect for people who do this regularly💯💯

I also did this criss cross ribbon thing on the sides of the bag. I was taking inspo from Gothic lolita bags so I really wanted this detail. I probably should have sewn them on but I got lazy.

I also replaced the zipper tags with coffin charms! Do not do this! They are not stable and I already lost one!

Final picture: I just wanted to show off the bag chain I made :D made from an old necklace, the beaded chain of a childrens toy. The only thing I bought was the spider charms to add onto it. They're supposed to be mint green but they look kinda blue in the photo. Ignore that.

I love Slappy so much that he feels like an open wound on my left side that's constantly bleeding out and causing me severe pain <3 My the back of my head burning up and my chest cracking like broken glass everytime I think of him <3 He deserves a cutsey patootie little ita bag dedicated to him UwU <333

If you have a favorite character you should make an ita bag too! Its a fun craft project. I think it's especially fun when it's not the usual stereotypical pretty boy/girl anime character! Just imagine a Renfield ita bag that's all cutsey Gothic lolita? Someone please make this vision a reality!

I would love to make a Spongebob ita bag someday especially since I already have a lot of Spongebob stuff (pins, buttons, keychains, etc) if they ever drop an official spongebob ita bag then you can bet your squarepants that I'll put it all together💕💕 I do think the Slappy bag would remain the most fun simply because I had to make everything from scratch meanwhile a hypothetical SB ita bag is just things I already own and was collecting for years. Never the less I'd still treasure it both since they're both my bestest boys💕💕💕

hopping on this train about the whole smut is overdone and sexualization of ellie thing since i'm bored ! i agree with the whole thing about certain scenes centered around struggle and sorrow being sexualized, and the watering down of her character— it definitely happens quite often, and whenever i do see those scenes where ellie is at her lowest i have a sense of like "my poor baby noo" so i can see that. think ive only used that image of her torn up back for reference once, but that was it. sometimes i do think her personality gets very misrepresented, but tbh i don't mind a purely cocky or purely loser ellie when it's done in balance. feel like when you write one, you get called out for not putting the other into play. unless im hallucinating. idk.

on the other hand, the debate about smut and the need for more angst, fluff, and plot— i'm a tinge in the gray area abt this. if you've seen any of my works (oneshots or series) especially copy that romeo, you know i'm a plot warrior 😭 unreleased knight!ellie is literally my most yappalicious fic (in the shakespearian way). yet most of my works feature smut, cause i'm either horny or feelin romantical, but also it's entertaining to write. tickles my pickle, mayhaps 🔥. but like, realistically? from the bottom of my heart? bottom of my booty? plot is hellacious to delve into. making stories from scratch or even sewing up a new path within the realm of a different video game— can be grueling. so, i can see why people don't jump into it as much. i encourage people to try, definitely, even a modicum of plot can really put the ommphh in your fic IF you are searching for it. but I'll be so so honest sometimes fleshing out stories makes me want to BOIL and get straight to the romance dialogue or whatever. so when i say i can see both sides— i do because writing smut woven by a majority of dialogue can be funner and simpler. like a little treat.

a lot of people debating this state these as opinions, and claim nobody is targeted in the process, but with the passion i'm seeing being bootyfucked into long long paragraphs, i just think that some names have to blossom to mind?? like almost indirectly, yknow? or maybe i'm just paranoid. i love love LOVE all the people debating this don't take this wrongly, TRUST i love some of ur accounts, especially those who like to analyze ellie's charecter I LOVE IT (i already forgot the name of the person who kind of sparked this whole thing but ily) but yeah. i just feel even opinions could be taken to heart by those who want to write, or write smut, and feel guilty for it. maybe that's how my brain works but. putting it out there ig.

GASP!!!!!! bitch, jerk, twerp!!!!! wait i'm gonna cry 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺!!! that's perfect *bangs gavel* consider it canon! (or whatever counts as canon in this loose little au)

i think sam would kind of be in the middle: he'd resent dad & adam, but he'd still do certain things because he knows adam will suffer if he doesn't. for example, he'd be pissed if john left him & adam behind while he & dean go off to hunt, but he's still going to sit down with adam and look at his homework, cook for him, etc.

he doesn't take to being parentified quite like dean does. dean is NOT a good parent, lol, he is seventeen years old, but he really gets satisfaction/peace from being able to provide for sam and adam. it's stressful, but dean really likes being relied on. he likes being trusted, and necessary more than anything, so he doesn't complain (too much), when john disappears solo for a while.

sam, on the other hand, knows this isn't normal, and doesn't like the fact that he is solely responsible for adam's well-being. he encourages adam while john is gone for days/weeks at a time, to be as normal as possible (e.g., sign up for clubs, go to friends' houses, participate in field days).

but he doesn't stand for the more gritty aspect of his parentification. john tells sam he needs to tell adam they're uprooting from a town and school that adam loves, and sam refuses, saying that john will have to tell him himself. he demands that john be the one to comfort adam after a hunt gone wrong. he doesn't let john get away with the shit that dean does let him get away with.

this has, of course, let to a few knock-down, all-out screaming matches between sam and john, with dean trying to calm things down and mostly taking dad's side, and adam standing off to the side, arms crossed over his stomach like he's going to be sick, eyes wide.

he and dean actually get into a few parentified arguments, lol, with dean insisting that it's time for adam to learn how to shoot in case he's in danger. he wants adam to be able to protect himself, after an incident where a shifter followed john home after a day scoping out the town. sam, on the other hand, REFUSES to let adam know how to shoot, and wants adam to be a kid for as long as possible. he'll teach adam how to sew up a wound, or lay salt lines, or something mainly defensive, but he refuses to let adam learn how to get offensive. dean, of course, takes adam out of school one day, and takes him out into the woods with a .45 and a grocery bag of empty beer cans. sam is furious, and refuses to talk to dean for a few weeks. dean is near-feral at the end, his reactive silent-treatment worn thin almost an entire week ago. dean offers to take sam out for a drive, and when they come back, dean's arm is thrown across sam's shoulder, and sam's eyes are brighter than they've been for a month.

i LOVE the idea of big brother sammy! i think that adam pretty much adores his two older brothers, in different ways. dean (as he is 11 years older than adam) is larger than life. it's like having superman as an older brother: he is endlessly cool, endlessly funny, and most importantly, endlessly invincible. sam--even though seven years is still a pretty big age gap (esp for children/teens)--is different, more human. we know in canon that adam has more in common with sam than dean: he was studying pre-med at a state university.

i imagine as they grow up, dean takes care of a lot of his basic needs (i.e., food, safety, sense of happiness), but sam takes care of everything else. he encourages adam to be smarter, to work harder, to learn as much as he possibly can. one summer, he sits down with an ancient greek translation book, and sam sits down with a latin translation book, and they translate sentences for each other to practice with.

he tells adam that it's okay to want more, that he deserves it. they tell stories about how it'll be when adam finally gets to go to college, and how he can live with sam, who's already left college and is about to finish law school, and how they'll find someway to convince dean to join them, and they can all live in a shitty apartment and protect each other. it's a fantasy, but it's a beautiful one.

big brother sammy will not usually lift a fist to defend himself, but when he hears that some kid in the second grade broke adam's lunch box on purpose, dean has to physically hold him back from punching out an eight-year-old.

big brother sammy doesn't fart in adam's face and run away like dean does, but will absolutely tie his shoelaces together and laugh when he faceplants on the motel rug. he makes sure to always get the brand of sweets that adam likes from the gas stations, but also always makes sure to force him to try his own bag of trail mix to "expand his horizons."

big brother sammy watched "free willy" with a toddler adam so much that he can still quote most of the movie, and gets visibly irritated when he goes to an aquarium well into his adulthood.

big brother sammy is the first person adam goes to after he has a nightmare, because sammy tells him all the ways his nightmares can't be real, or won't hurt him. dean tells him all the ways he'll kill the thing adam's afraid of, which doesn't calm him down as much. he feels the safest when he's sharing a bed with sam--farthest from the door--and dean is snoring lightly in the bed closest to the door, both of his brothers tilted toward him and ready to help.

sam is ABSOLUTELY middle-child angst, lol! dean is given too much responsibility/treated as an equal, adam is treated like a baby/given all the attention, and sam is standing in the corner facing the wall like this picture:

no. 6 liveread (volume. 1)

ok I'm rereading no. 6 to celebrate the new volume (it feels insane to be saying that) and thought it would be fun to post as I read with thoughts etc!! it's been forever since I read the books, but I have loved no. 6 for so many years now and I'm so beyond happy that it's back. (heh... beyond) I am reading the 9th-ave tl of course.

so here goes with volume 1 💯 chapter 1 starts with a brief paragraph from Nezumi's pov and then we get to the famous shion yelling into the hurricane scene and their iconic first meeting. one thing that really struck me is how shion absolutely falls in love at first sight. it's so pure and cute. sobbing

another thing I noticed is shion's scientific detachment, I guess, idk how else to really phrase it. the hurricane is "the best birthday gift he ever got" because he thinks it's cool and interesting, even though because of it the west block is flooding. shion's realization of his privilege is a major theme in these novels so it makes a lot of sense to start with this very powerful contrast: shion, safe and sound from the hurricane in his home in the wealthy district of Chronos, and nezumi, wet and exhausted and injured, crawling through tunnels and seeking shelter from the storm.

and you even see his detachment in how hyped he is to sew nezumi up! meanwhile nezumi is like what insane person have I encountered.

brief mention of shion's dad being an alcoholic womanizing flop and his mother being divorced. I had honestly forgotten this even though he comes back in beyond because I erased beyond from my memory because it made me sad .

the tracking chip in nezumi's body originally being used to censor violent television content -- notable!! saying something about how a fascist government's censorship of art correlates with greater surveillance of its citizens, maybe?

there's also a lot of random mentions of shion's mom being fat which I think is supposed to symbolize the indolent lifestyle she's become accustomed to. okay I guess . not what I would write personally

anyway shion and nezumi fall asleep cutely. chapter 2 starts with a time skip in which shion is now working at his shitty park job. they find the first victim of the wasp plague.

first scene with safu! she and shion are talking about rigor mortis as 16 year olds tend to do.

really beautiful bit of prose:

and then we have the famous scene where safu demands shion's sperm. she's so funny and I feel bad for her when shion turns her down lol. let me not think too hard about safu's fate or I'll get depressed.

and of course nezumi finds this hilarious and sends his robot mouse to make fun of shion as a way to reveal himself for the first time in 4 years. oh nezumi. he also kind of ruins shion and safu's goodbye by doing this. he's so petty. by the way, shion is unmoved by safu's wanting to have sex with him, but her invocation of sex is associated with nezumi's return. ok I'm not saying that in a weird way but it's clear that nezumi is being associated with sex/passion/eros in a way that safu isn't.

safu confesses her love over the phone which is not easy for a 16 year old girl to do!! her strength and straightforwardness is very endearing. and she's an interesting foil for shion.

chapter 3. shion's coworker gets the wasp plague and dies. all very disturbing and gross. the security bureau people try to arrest shion on suspicion of murder. nezumi talks to shion again through the mouse and tells him he's coming to save him!!! thank you nezumi.

thinking of nezumi's words and trying to remember his face keeps shion calm aw :(

nezumi rescues shion and threatens to crash the car. they start bantering and bickering immediately. that's chemistry

apparently the park cleaning robots shion worked with are sentient enough to want to help him??? ok I thought they were just like the robots that bring people their doordash orders in LA

iconic line. why would he say this

the robots blow up and shion feels sorry for them and nezumi gets mad at him for wasting time feeling sorry for the robots. some interesting meditations on who counts as human and who does not here. "they don't see us as human," nezumi tells shion about the security bureau people while emphasizing that they won't hesitate to kill the two of them. but he doesn't grieve the robots because it's pointless. you have to keep going. the dynamic between nezumi and shion is being established here -- shion, very intelligent but naive and oblivious to certain realities, but also emotionally open, nezumi, hardened and cynical and very knowledgable about the things shion isn't, but closed-off.

chapter 4. shion and nezumi have to dive into sewage to escape. ugh. I honestly don't know if I could do that even if my life was in imminent danger. nezumi gets mad at shion for missing his mom. some of us don't even have moms SHION

they arrive at nezumi's place! one of my favorite fictional settings ever. shion marvels at the books and gets made fun of for not knowing who shakespeare is. classic nezumi stuff.

shion gets accused of having an oedipus complex for missing his mom. SOME OF US DONT EVEN HAVE M--

seeing nezumi tell shion stuff it's obvious he's had to tell himself over and over is really sad.

nezumi remarks that shion has never been interested in other people before and shion is like... yeah you're probably right tbh. then nezumi reads a poem by hesse because japanese people love hesse.

shion collapses from the wasp plague. nezumi nurses him back to health and the scenes as he does and shion is fading in and out of consciousness are so beautiful and gentle :(

a lovely quote from Nezumi's pov: "It was far more difficult to survive in an unsightly matter than to die a beautiful and heroic death. It also held much more value."

shion freaks out because of his white hair and the snake scar he has now but it's ok because nezumi made him soup. and so we move on to the last chapter in this volume.

nezumi: LMAOOO no. 6 is being eaten by wasps

shion: its not funny people are gonna die :(

it's really telling that no. 6 (the city) suppresses arts education and shion doesn't know anything about literature until he leaves it and reunites with nezumi. READING IS ESSENTIAL!!! and fascist societies will always try to suppress the arts because stories are immensely powerful.

and despite all of nezumi's yelling about shion's mommy complex he still bothers to get his mouse to deliver a note to Karan letting her know shion is ok. you big softie.

the way they just randomly break into improv makes me laugh so much you guys are so weird.

cerys was arranged to wed lord owain, a young nobleman in the kings court, when she was only twelve years old, and married him at sixteen. the marriage was purely political - her family gained a slight raise in status, owain’s gained a decent dowry and a means for owain to have heirs. cerys had never met her husband before their wedding day.

she’s especially good at knitting and sewing, and was taught by her mother from a young age. it’s one of cerys’ few fond memories of the woman, the two of them sitting by the fire practicing stitch patterns while snow steadily fell outside. many years later cerys becomes fond of sewing pieces of clothing for @carrionsflower’s einar and their children.

cerys spent almost five years as kjartan’s slave before uhtred and young ragnar stormed dunholm and killed kjartan. she was only twenty four when she was eventually freed and chose to travel back to coocham with everyone.

as a young child in wales her family had a pair of wolfhound-like dogs, although they were never the most affectionate of animals since they were used for hunting. cerys has never had a pet since though. dogs in particular remind her too much of her father.

cerys is welsh, and grew up specifically within the kingdom of debeubarth in a minor noble family. her father was a lesser lord in the king’s court who was constant fighting for his standing as men like him tended to, and her mother was the daughter of a somewhat-wealthy merchant. her family were a footnote in the grand scheme of wealas, her parents both sick with ambition and duty, and cerys feels very little love or loyalty for her them.

💚 — does your oc prefer being inside or outside?

-Mi'una's version of the Echo comes with a hyper-empathy that is very debilitating, but you wouldn't know it to look at her. It's not until after Shadowbrings that she talks to her Padjal teachers about it and they craft a ward that allows her to *not* pick up on every little emotion that people feel

Her freckles are in a stripe pattern all over her body, thanks to having Hrothgar blood from her maternal line

Her family unit is mostly made up of crafters, and she's been sewing since she was a small bab. She never lets on that people are wearing clothes from her family's business, but she can very often pick out what it is just by the pattern of a weave.

-She doesn't have a preference between in or out, it generally depends on the weather and the location. In Il Mheg, for example, it could have been thunder and lightning, and she would have stayed outside and enjoyed all the flowers, while in Ishgard the cold often chased her back inside as quickly as possible.

🎮 VIDEO GAME CONTROLLER — what are three of your oc's favorite hobbies? Cerberus can be difficult to separate hobbies from...general life pursuits sometimes, as the two areas tend to overlap kind of a lot, so I will start with occult history/research. It's a bit of both, but it's a genuine casual interest of his as well as a sometimes practical one, so...that. His primary hobby that's purely a hobby, I guess, is probably recreational cooking. He's actually very good at this. A pity he's not much into the hosting dinner parties scene, because he really could put on an amazing one. And he's a quite competent metalworker, though it's not something he necessarily keeps up with, and it's a fairly sporadic interest. But he's made more than one sword in his time. Forging, unsurprisingly, tends to go rather well for him. Kia's main hobby is sewing, and she makes quite a few of her own outfits. She's not a master seamstress or anything, but she's pretty good. She's very interested in Underworldian history, and has written/compiled a series of interviews with various influential/important residents she called the Chronicles. Doing that is actually how she and Cerberus get to know each other; he was both the inspiration for the idea and her main subject. He ran a small occult club back in his mortal days; it was VERY underground, and everybody involved thought the fire tricks were illusions. He didn't contradict this at the time. He's a fairly accomplished horse rider - this is also connected to his mortal years - but hasn't owned horses personally since becoming Demonics Leader; it's a time thing. Bit of a shame, really. Looks hot AF on horseback. 😂 Kia's got some impressive skills in gymnastics, and was actively competitive in her teens. She worked for a short period as a pole dancer; this is peripherally connected to the former, but mostly connected to being out of home and out of work for a time. She, um, did well. I agree with your take on marvel and the MCU and how the focus on cameos and creating an interconnected universe while fun and makes for great event cinema but from a narrative and character development level it was also major hindrance. I personally think one problem is this spiderman felt a little unrelatable and placed more emphasis on big intergalactic set pieces and neglecting the fact that spiderman was about the neighbourhood. Like the earlier films particularly sam raimi films, peter was this dude struggling to pay rent, working multiple jobs to help is aunt, balancing school and spiderman and failing, battling with anxiety like that shit was so real and relatable. Instead of playing into a younger peter parker who has deal with high school things/ issues they kinda ignored all the things that made him so relatable and focused on tony stark mentorship of peter parker where everything was kinda given to him. NYC never became its own character like in the raimi films. Aunt may, mj were given substance none of which exist in the MCU. Peters day to day realities was sort of pushed to the side, so we can focus on him being an avenger. Peter parker is so beloved b/c of how grounded he had always been but also because it was someone with overly insane strength or superpowers but some who needed to find a balance in his lofe and find ways to overcome villans with his agility and intellegence.

Marvel really dropped the ball, those movies are fun dont get me wrong but I never really felt connected to the character despite how amazing tom is as spiderman/ peter parker

I've been saying this stuff (EVERYTHING you listed) since day 1 when HOCO came out.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVED HOCO, and I love Tom's Spiderman films. But one of the things I noticed right from the outset was that we don't really get to know much about PETER in them.

There's barely any character development for him, let alone his friends.... And he's barely in NYC half the time lol.

One of the things that made the Spiderman character so great (like you mentioned) was the fact that he was the "every day hero". He wasn't wealthy at all, he was an orphan, he was self-made, he struggled, he had to find a good balance btwn his crime-fighting life and his love life, etc.

But when you have Peter being handed everything to him, thanks to Tony Stark, you don't really feel the relatable feeling towards him that most fans felt with the OG films, and the type of relatability that made the Spiderman character so beloved and GREAT! 😁

Granted, as much as I loved the Tobey/Raimi films, I'm sure fans don't want just a remake or a Raimi 2.0 film with Tom's Spiderman lol 😆, but I think in trying to make him do different from the other two Spider MEN, Marvel ended up removing so many things that actually made the Spiderman character so awesome for fans. 😩😓

That's why, when I saw those scenes at the end of NWH, and saw Peter finally in his own crappy apartment lol, with his GE books, and sewing his own Spiderman costume, I immediately felt like, "Ahhhh.... Now we can FINALLY get back to the Spiderman character I know and love, who's just an everyday man, no bells, no whistles, no Avengers, no rich Surrogate Father figure to provide him with everything lol 😆

Those few little minutes were so relatable and grounded, that I can only imagine how awesome a full movie would be with everything like that. 👍🏾

she loves horses! or maybe i should say mounts in general (gotta keep it vague for when she gets a griffon. bc she will <3 or else <3) and she finds a lot of comfort in the routine of care/grooming/bonding . a real certified horse girl despite me myself not having any clue how horses work. she also just has an aura that horses find very agreeable i guess lol. she's great at calming them and post dao when she's acting as warden-commander she sort of becomes a bit of legend - outside of the whole killing the archdemon thing - due to her unmatched ability to calm spooked horses and adjust them to the day-to-day reality of darkspawn/taint etc. her own mount is the fastest in the vigil's keep stables, and her name is mistral, named after her mother's warship during the orlesian occupation <3

big cartography fan !! which is a hobby she developed from loghain, who was sort of like a godfather figure to her growing up. she used to sit around his war room in the months where she'd stay with anora in gwaren and watch him pour over maps with his advisors. she's naturally grown up enamored with the land of ferelden and the history behind it so of course she'd want to know all about it's geography too. the skill came in handy in her later years because it translated to great situational awareness and survival skills. she can navigate her way out of almost every terrain and u rarely ever have to worry about getting lost when ur with her.

cartography as stated above, but also embroidery and tourneys! the embroidery one stemmed as a natural result of her mother insisting its a skill noble women should all know, but she loves it for it's practical applications. her childhood and adulthood were very rough and tumble so her being able to mend her clothes quickly while on the road was paramount. also just being a bit of a hyperactive kid she really enjoyed the creative outlet it provided. she spent a LOT of time sewing mabaris into her shirt sleeves when she should have been paying attention to orlesian history lmao

and then there's the tourney thing. the vast chunk of elspeths former combat experience was from bandits on cousland territory, OR from tourneys. ferelden acknowledged pretty quickly that she was proving to be one of the most talented swordsmen in the country before she had even turned 18, although it had never been really tested considering she'd never fought an actual war. she fought and won in every major ferelden tourney since she was 16 up until she turned 21 when she was finally beaten in a match by teyrn loghain himself <3 was she a little hurt that he didnt let her win ? no she was a Lot hurt that he didnt let her win lol.

she doesnt smoke but she does drink socially! especially with her gray warden charges, though she doesnt like to imbibe too much bc she'd rather someone keep vigilant lol. she can hold her liquor pretty well, but on the odd occasions where she goes overboard she becomes a lot more lighthearted and chatty than her usual stoic/moody self. a lot more smiles, and lot more sharing stories she wouldnt normally share, and just overall a good vibe until she wakes up in the morning miserable bc shes Revealed Too Much

if she lives long enough to learn that the griffons are back, definitely griffons. but until then, like i said she loves horses and has a special affinity for them. dogs too, but that's more just an extension of her being ferelden. she also likes cats ! really, shes an animal person through and through and there's very few of the makers creatures she doesnt like. centipedes, maybe.

oooooo good question. so there are a bunch of ferelden dishes i could point to which she definitely enjoys despite them definitely being an acquired taste for hardened ferelden pallets lol... but i WILL say, her greatest shame is that she secretly loves orlesian pastries. the first time she ever went to orlais (very much against her will) was on a diplomatic journey to meet with stroud, the orlesian warden-commander. she hated the entire experience and was uncooperative for the whole duration she was there, UNTIL like the 2nd night before she was supposed to leave, when he ended up sharing some sweet treats he had sitting at his desk. she loved them so much she sort of inadvertently thawed out and stroud managed to bribe her to the point where they meet up like twice a year and consider each other good friends. lmao.

:0 difficult but interesting one!

Apart from drums, Absalom can also play piano. He was taught as a kid by Almudena and he picked up drums as a teenager. The only people hes been romantically attracted to are Angel (when they were 15, before she came out) and Percy.

Victor is the eldest of three siblings. When they were kids, they were close to their mother, before she passed away from illness. When Victor came back from the death he did his own top surgery :) (very epic)

Ozzie does not remember anything from his past, he himself does not know what sort of creature he is and the only place he knows is Ewordis. His name was chosen by Absalom after The Wizard of Oz.

🎮 — what are three of your oc's favorite hobbies?

Angel main hobby (which is also her livelihood) is music: playing instruments (she can play a bunch), singing and writing music. She enjoys reading, writing poetry and short stories, and swimming as well!

Naomi plays bass and writes songs too! He loves fashion and sews some of his and his friends' clothes and she likes listening to podcasts too :)

🎶 — what type of music does your oc like? do they listen to music very often?

They both LOVE music and listen to a lot of it (they are musicians!). They are always going to record stores and finding new stuff or sharing playlists and songs with eachother <3<3

Since in my story the aesthetic surrounding TTT (their band) is very 70s and glam rock inspired, that's mostly what they create and listen to. Angel loves disco and R&B too, while Naomi sometimes listens to electronic music. Their music tastes are overall pretty open and they like appreciating different stuff.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 — how many people are in your oc's immediate family? how many people are in your oc's extended family? do they have aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc? who in their family are they closest with? are they close with their birth family, or do they have a found family?

Absalom was raised by his grandma, his mother died in childbirth and he never met his father. Then it lived with its uncle (his mother's brother) and aunt. He had no cousins nor any other family members. He was really really close with his grandma. Altought it doesn't see his aunt and uncle very often anymore, they have an okay relationship.

Ozzie's past is a mystery! So far he is the only creature of his type hes seen.

Victor has two siblings, a very tyrannic father and his mother who died. He knows his mother had siblings but their father never allowed the family to visit. They don't know if their father has more family. He lives enclosed in his father manor.

Naomi has a younger brother (named Akihiko) whom he loves a lot. Most of his family lives back in Japan, Naomi used to be really close to his cousins when she lived there as a child but doesn't see them often anymore. She's not close with his parents because they used to be close minded and strict, so she lives with Angel and meets her brother as much as possible. Her parents have changed since she left and they are supportive of Akihiko now, but Naomi hasn't forgiven them yet and still keeps his distance. She's glad Akihiko is doing great but she mourns that her upbringing was different.

Angel is very close with her parents! She's an only child but she has many aunts, uncles and cousins. They all love Naomi as well! Her family is really supportive so she visits often. Altough she is close to her birth family, she considers Naomi and Absalom as her found family as well. (the three of them do!)

Absalom: beer. a basic guy but it's cheap. If he orders a cocktail it's probably gin and tonic

Ozzie: he doesnt drink but if he lived in the human world he would like stuff like Mojito or Daiquiri yep yep

Victor: he also doesn't drink but he seems like a vodka lemon type of guy to me
