So, Danny, cemented king and practically father of the Blob Ghosts and certified little shit.

Has found something new to play with.

For you see, despite his various kidnappings by the GIW Danny was never aware of there being a League of Earth's mightiest heroes at all. He off-handily mentioned them to Henry, who was now genuinely jobless because even though he never got told he knew he was jobless for helping Danny escape and Henry?

Henry did not want any part of this, he's just a civilian he doesn't want to meet the Justice League of all people!

Sadly, Danny did not care at all in the slightest.

Henry was then reminded of why Danny was valued by the GIW and why he also king class ghost entity (the only other known king class was the Ghost King who they barely have any information of). Because he easily, cleared the distance between Amity Park and Metropolis.

Henry, unfortunately, was not used to traveling at such speeds and was left hanging limply in Danny's arm as everything started spinning and thinking he might puke.

Danny, being the child that he is at heart, immediately starts calling out Superman's name. Superman, predictably and unsurprisingly, hears this and comes over questioning who was calling him.

Danny decides to be even more of a little shit by speaking in ghost speak even though just earlier he called out Superman's name in clear English. Henry, the de-facto translator, is out of commission right now so Superman is really just left guessing here.

Unless, you go with the fact that Kyrptonian is a dead language, and since Superman can speak and knows Kyrptonian, Danny's ghost speak is automatically translated to Kyrptonian.

Superman is, understandably, stumped by this occurrence and he may or may not form the idea that Danny might be a Kyrptonian.

Danny then gently places Henry down on the roof, pats him on the head, tells a few blob ghosts to keep an eye on their new littlest sibling while Dad has fun.

Then he turns to Superman, with the most feral, shit eating grin on his face. Cracks his knuckles, and then tells Superman that they're going to have a fight.

He wasn't asking, and before Superman could say anything he's already been punched through the air. Not that it hurt, really, mostly took him by surprise, but now Superman is now in a fight with what may or may not be a Kryptonian.

I just remembered I sketched this but never finished it lol. So uh, @radiance1 's blob ghost dragon Danny. Y'know he uh, probably either doesn't care or can't remember how to do human forms or disguises. Or at least completely.

Oh well I'm sure Amity Park doesn't care and I'm sure the JL will be fine. Don't mind Henry-the-emotional-support-scientist he is also fine. Or he will be. Once everything stops spinning.

Honestly remind me to finish this at some point lol.

bwaha the fruits of my random inspirated labors: Doey and his Doughling

yeah, the story of Doey basically being mpreged just slammed into my brain like a freight train out of nowhere, fully formed, and demanded i write it IMMEDIATELY...and do a few doodles. because zomr why do i find the Doughling so adorable?? it's just a blob, that my brain made up. why? how?? idk but i am having a grand time and don't know how to deal lol.

just for fun, here's a comparison of my fav doodle there, seeing as since i'm out of regular pencil lead i had to use this glitter/metallic blue i have and...yeah...

if i hadn't shown you this, would you have noticed in the main sketch dump?

also for fun, the color swatches i was playing with trying to mix a color for the doughling based upon his colors

never really settled on the right color...oh well, i'm running out of garbage to stall with.

anywhos, i wrote a fic right? is it good; probably not. but i had blast, and i'm very happy with it. 32 pages/9 chapters in almost a single day, that's a feat i haven't accomplished in a long time. and like i said, the whole plot was just beamed into my head fully formed and demanded to be thrown out into the world. so...yeah. enjoy?

LBM idea: Mimic blobs

there are different types of blobs and one oc them is the mimic blob, they adopt the traits and signature of the biggest baddest ghost in the area they live in which in Amity Park is Phantom

at first danny is confused but then proceeds to adopt every single mimic blob in the area as his pet.

the giw happens and very tired and very unamused Phantom sees them shoot his blobs and goes "how dare you shoot my babies?!" he is taken very literally.

I'm imagining that doppelganger reader births moving feathery flesh that squeaks whenever tries to communicate. Like, doppels are kinda f-up bodily when not really having a grip on the shape so like. Columbinas and reader bby is this blob that both parents adore from their many hearts.

Columbina sees this abomination and gets another baby fever, finding this baby doppelganger the cutest thing in the world and needs to make another.

Truly, Reader and Columbina’s baby has a face that only its mothers could love 😰

The residents in the building peek into the nursery and nearly gag at the sight, because what is this fleshy, blob of feathers and eyes that’s squeaking at them? Doppelganger! Reader seems fine, Columbina is overjoyed and gently cooing at her newborn “baby.”

Well, until the baby doppelganger fixates on a person that it wants to look like, it’ll look like a fleshy blob for now 😭😭. Nevertheless, Jean and Arlecchino would help you take care of it, even though the sight of your baby makes them terribly squeamish and they are trying to find all sorts of ways to make them find their identity faster <3

"Mams...you okay?" You grin tiredly and teasingly ask your First Man, who is currently in the process of tearing up, his lips wobbling silently as he attempts to keep it in.

He looks up at you from where you lay exhausted in the hospital bed, attempting to blink back his tears. "Oh aye..." He replies shakily. "I-...I've never bin 'appier....Y-you should g-get some sleep...MC...get yer strength back..."

You grin stupidly at him, eyes closing sleepily as he watches you from the seat beside your bed, his attention drifts to you and his eyes water even more, the sheer lightness of the small weight in his arms making him dizzy as he leans further back into the armchair.

He looks down at the sleeping newborn in his arms. His baby girl. Her little yellow hat sitting perfectly on her little tiny head. He's sure she could fit on just on of his hands.

His bottom lip trembles, heart so full of love for the tiny thing in his arms it feels like it might burst. He holds her to his chest, bringing one finger up to gently caress her tiny tiny cheek. He sniffles, holding back happy sobs as he whispers gently. "Hiya little baby....I'm yer papa....I'm gonna take well great care of ye...I-I..I promise...Íosa Críost...yer tiny..."

Mammon looks over to your sleeping form in the hospital bed and slowly inches his chair even closer to you, so as not to jostle your daughter too much. He grabs his phone off of the nightstand and makes an order for your favourite food to be delivered for when you woke up. He chuckles softly as he texts the groupchat, telling them that you and the baby are okay.(albeit slowly seeing as he's only able to use one hand)

He asks for Lucifer to send over the cake he made with the horrible icing saying 'Congradulation COngratulations, MC, Your You're so amazing' so he could celebrate with you when you woke up from your much deserved nap. He turns off his phone and sets it back on the bedside table next to yours which is charging.

He could celebrate with you after, you could laugh at how he looked like a deer in headlights when the nurse asked him if he wanted to hold his baby for the first time. He could spoil you more than he ever has before (which isn't humanly possible considering how much he spoils you.)

But that could all wait for when you woke up, right now he was content just watching over his favouritest girls in the whole wide world, making sure you were both safe and sound.

But you should never trust a scheming scumbag, MC.

Oh no, fuckhead was already coming up with plans to spoil your daughter silly. That was his little princess, God dammit! She deserved the three worlds combined! And even then she deserved more! And don't get him started on you, you weren't going to even think about doing chores for at least 6 months. You just preformed a miracle. You get rest time. No buts.

In the softening light of the sun through the windows, Mammon holds your baby girl with so much gentleness, as if she'd crack at the smallest touch, his loving gaze flickers from you to her with so much tenderness, you would've thought he was an angel.
