— CHAPTER ONE: I AM NOT YOUR DAUGHTER, AND I AM NOT YOUR LADY

The Countess and Count are so kind. Unlike most nobles, they married for love, which helped create a healthy environment growing up. It’s nice to be complimented, spoiled, and taken care of so attentively by everyone. It makes me wonder how that had gone away through the years. 

To be truthful, even though it’s been just under 10 years, I can’t get used to being “Astelle Belrose”. Even though I’m Astelle, I’m also Qian. Having the knowledge of a teenager as a baby was… quite the experience, to say the least. 

“Aste~lle! Are you there? Is my baby studying?” Countess Hyacinthe Belrose knocked on the door to my study.

I grumbled. “I’m not a baby.” I knew she was affectionate that way, but I really wasn’t a baby. Seventeen and being called a baby? That was too much- although it was hard to blame her, because as Astelle, I’d only been born 10 years ago. 10 year-olds were still babies- although my case was quite odd. 

Learning the basics like walking took up a lot of time and energy, and with a baby’s body, talking was hard. It was easier to go through normal things I’d be able to do as time passed, and being in a 10-year-old’s body isn’t as different as before. It’s changing, slowly. 

“Oh? Them again? I always wonder who they are; I always see you drawing them, and I’ve never seen them before,” she took a closer look at them. “They look very cute~” 

Of course she’d never seen them before. Ra*bits didn’t exist in the Empire, and I’m the only fan of a group that “doesn’t exist”. How could I tell her that? “They��re my characters! They like to be cute and sing and dance for everyone and they’re happy when all of their fans are happy!” I wish I could tell her that- but it wouldn’t be right to call them characters. They’re real to me, the people closest to me. 

“That’s a secret, mama.” I say with a proud look on my face. They respect my privacy, and it’s easy to act when you know they won’t see through you so fast.

“Alright, I look forward to getting to know them~” she giggled. “Anyways, guess what?”

“What.”

“My best friend is moving to the capital! We’re visiting her next week,” she put her hands to her hips. Countess Hyacinthe’s best friend is Duchess Ariane Lambert- Leveret’s mother. When Duke Lambert had an affair, she’d decided to take her children with her and move to the Capital, far away from the Northern Region where the Lamberts had resided for generations. 

“Oh… do I have to go?” It was risky for me. Leveret was always my favorite character; I’ll get attached far too easily. 

“Of course, silly! You’re shy now? Having friends is good, I promise.”

“But I have friends in the mansion.”

“Have a friend your age! Just try it out, and if you two don’t work out well, then you don’t have to meet them again unless we both end up going to the same event. Is that okay?”

I nodded. I can’t really argue with that. I don’t want to sound like I hate Leveret; I can’t sound like someone who hates someone for no reason. 

Hyacinthe got up from her seat, “We’re meeting your father in a restaurant near the palace tonight for dinner, so get ready, okay?” Oh, the restaurants in the Capital are good, it’s hard to say no to that.

She left to let me get ready with the maids. Needing them to change into a dress for dinner sucks, but the fashion is too difficult for me to get into myself. I let the maids in, and they fixed me up before dinner.

“Eat well, my lady!” I waved to them as I got into the carriage with Hyacinthe. At first, I’d hate being called “my lady”, but it was normal here. Making people bend the normal in their reality to fit my “reality” is too cruel. 

I hate living a lie. If only I could tell the Countess that I wasn’t her daughter, never to begin with, the servants that I was never their lady. I have no choice but to move on; I’m stuck as Astelle as long as I am in this world.

SECOND SLASHER/HORROR OC ‼️

Belrose Duval, renowned botanist and bio chemist, known for her impressive thesis on carnivorous plants. People have also celebrated her ground breaking growth serum, able to grow crops 2x their usual size, aiming to make a dent in the hunger epidemic.

But what they don’t know, is her thesis was a small clue to her unhealthy obsession. You see in her greenhouse, far beneath any range the human ear can sense, lies a plethora of botanical horrors. Flesh eating plants, able to swallow livestock, and even humans, whole. She essentially worships these carnivorous plants, treating them as if they were her own children. And she’ll do anything for them.

And that includes gathering the most high quality game, human. She tries to avoid live feedings, she doesn’t want her babies getting harmed in any way. But if there’s someone she has a gripe with, big or small, maybe a little enrichment for her pets is ok. Her lovelies deserve the world, and by god she’ll give it to them.

We don't usually say this, but psychological abuse and neglect of children leaves LASTING IMPACTS into their adulthood!!!

Also, Charlotte is one of our favorite characters EVER from Reborn, and we just want her to cope, let her anger out, and be happy. Because this baby deserves so much more than what she got!

the writing below may be distressing for some people, but i feel like it’s important to read, so if you can, please do.

charlotte belrose is a character who’s incredibly meaningful to us. when we were in the psych ward, we knew kids like her. kids who literally had no hope and as such just gave up. tried to anger everyone around them just for the sake of feeling something.

when you’re a child and your autonomy is limited so severely, it makes you feel awful. you aren’t a person, you’re a thing, an object. an inconvenience. you can’t get up when you want, you can’t ask for comfort, you can’t do anything, because you, as a person, are wrong. so you become “wrong”. you kick and you scream and you make everyone’s lives hell because goddamnit your life is hell too.

psychiatric abuse of minors is not only still happening but is so common. psych wards are not safe. they are not good for you. they are traumatising and everyone i have talked to came out worse from them. please, please, look into this. uplift survivors stories. share this information. help us try to get patients rights, if you can. please. please.

Vyrea Moonshield, charr guardian: Ash Legion soldier by birth, still holds loyalty to the Legions despite no longer being affiliated beyond an agreement with Malice. The primary commander, my main, my baby. Middle aged, secretly (until IBS) a single mother, cannot cut herself a break.

Altrevian, sylvari ranger: initially a bright eyed, bushy tailed Valiant following his Wyld Hunt, falls in love with Trahearne, and stops commanding after HoT to process all the trauma and grief he's now burdened with.

Zirre, asura mesmer: spitfire little smarty-pants, a little bit crazy. Accidentally blasted half her face off in Maguuma with a faulty explosive. Took an understandable leave to heal, made a charm with a built-in illusory spell to hide her scars, and returned to help defeat Kralkatorrik. In a fit of desperation, fused a pair of branded griffon wings to her back.

Lyris Belrose, human warrior: Ascalonian noble disillusioned with her family's superiority complex and hatred of charr, served as Warmaster for several years before coming under Zirre's command in the Vigil. Promoted to commander after Zirre's injury, accompanied Vyrea to Elona. Absorbed a fair amount of Balthazar's magic--has the capacity, but not the will to ascend as the new Goddess of War.

And the actual questions:

Who mercy killed Trahearne?

Vyrea. It haunts her.

Which one died to Balthazar?

…Also Vyrea. Lyris heard her die but Balthazar didn’t know she was close by, thankfully. Lyris was the first one to see Vyrea’s body and spent the next few minutes having a very intense panic attack before pulling herself together and alerting the rest of Dragon’s Watch.

How close are they? What do they think of each other?

Vyrea, Al, and Zirre were close as commanders during the Zhaitan campaign. Al's calmer temperament helped smooth out Zirre's rough, risk-taking edges, and both naturally looked to Vyrea as the leader as she was the only one experienced in military environments. Vyrea loves them both dearly, as they were beyond patient with her initial awkwardness--she had never left Ascalon before getting dragged into the Zhaitan mess, and had very limited interactions with other races. Al and Zirre tend to butt heads because their personalities are such polar opposites to each other, but they trust each other wholeheartedly. Zirre was initially resentful of Vyrea, but grew to respect her. Al never had any doubts--Vyrea was such a naturally commanding personality he had no trouble immediately following her lead.

Zirre and Lyris served together in the Vigil. Lyris does not always agree with her, and is one of the few able to reason with some of her more insistent moments. Zirre appreciates that Lyris doesn't back down from her, and privately wishes that Lyris had been picked as commander from the start. Al and Lyris have not met beyond formalities and do not have any particular opinion of the other, but he is thankful that someone skilled and cooperative went to Elona with Vyrea.

Vyrea and Lyris have a rocky sort of friendship. They know the other will always have their back, but Lyris' family history caused some initial friction. Once Vyrea realized Lyris did not subscribe to the prejudices of other Ascalonians she's interacted with, things became much smoother. They have found kinship in the fact that both were snatched from a path they thought was their only option to become something much greater.

Lily-Grace ( or Lils to her friends ) was born in Scotland's capital, the middle child of three. If there’s one thing she can tell you, it’s that there’s no fun in being stuck in the middle. 

She never meant to resent it. Her younger sibling was the baby and could do no wrong. Her older sibling the one they were all supposed to look up to, they set the example. For a very long time she felt like nothing to her family and it was devastating.

Despite this feeling, she slowly came into her own, picking up a keen interest in sewing that she picked up from her grandma. She would often sit in her front room learning cross-stitch, being shown how to make blanket squares, that eventually formed a stunning patchwork quilt the older woman kept on her bed.

She was determined from that moment on to do something with her life. Textiles became one of her most important subjects in high school and she began to make plans for college, all of her spare time dedicated to sketching out designs and putting together patterns. She rarely ever wore clothes from the store by the time she was fifteen.

At sixteen, however, the raging teenage hormones spoiled all plans she had and she found herself falling pregnant with her current boyfriend ( love the idea of this being a Love, Rosie type situation ). It was a case of peer pressure at its finest, her mission to fit in had left her as an outcast to be judged. She chose not to stay in school and instead was home schooled through to her GCSE’s.

The baby was born not long after she turned seventeen and was put up for adoption straight away. She wanted nothing to do with any of it, she wanted to forget.

Her attentions went to her studies then, working her way through college and onto a degree at University of the Arts London. The family having moved to the city when she was three, she’d had her sights set there from an early age.

She continued to work, picking up skills where she could, and then eventually began to sell her designs online. She now has a successful business and a small studio at the back of her town house where she works and does fittings for clients.

The dream is still to open a boutique one day, but for now, it definitely works as it is.

Over the last year or so she’s been finding her mind wandering to the baby she chose to give up, wondering where they are now, what they’re doing. There’s a part of her debating whether to try and find out, but it’s a decision she’s been wrestling with.

Between The Sims 4 and The Sims 3 this one is my favorite. There's just so much to do and when you get the right mods that help fix the bugs and glitches it makes it so much more enjoyable. What I love about the Sims 3 is that I can play without mods and still have fun. Regardless, there's so much I haven't done so I've decided to do a legacy challenge that would get me doing new things I've never tried before or that I didn't even know you could do. Sure, there's a LEPacy I could try out, but after a lot of going back and forth, this is the one I decided to go with. I'm doing the Sims in Bloom rules the @capygarden converted from TS4. Full legal name is Ramona Luisa Todd-Harper

When she was 8 her mother and father gave her to Jason as Red Hood because they were going to die.

Jason was going to put her in an orphanage but realized they had a connection and decided to take her in.

They became very close and about 2 years later he was able to adopt her. (Lots of legal stuff had to happen first)

When Ramona was about 12 Jason and Roy got married.

Lian came into the picture about a year later.

Ramona and Lian are really close. She is also close with Roy. He even taught her archery.

When Ramona is around 15 she became a vigilante called Bluejay. She uses daggers and throwing knives and occasionally a bow and arrow.

She became a vigilante with Crash, her best friend.

Everyone called them the Arkham Duo.

Ramona is Pan romantic and Asexual.

A little laugh when the other doesn't seem to connect their joke. He's grinning, something wicked about the way his eyes light up with excitement the closer he gets, amused by the other's refusal to take this situation with caution. It's always more fun when they underestimate him.

He gives the knife a flip in the air, catching it with ease as his head tilts, brows quirking up curiously. "A closed library," he points out, poking the tip of the hunting knife in their direction to emphasize the point.

"Which means you're free. So let's tango, angel-baby." He's grinning wider now, almost laughing. Almost like he's distracted, but it becomes evident rather quickly that isn't the case. Suddenly, he's lunging at the creature, tip of the knife instantly tucking under their chin, pressing upward to draw blood, other hand pinning them to the wall.

"Go ahead. Show me what you're made of, Dorian Belrose."

Dorian raises an eyebrow, head tilting to the side, was this a prank? Were they being pranked right now? If so then it was a terrible one, no taste at all.

"Booty call? You must have me mistaken with somebody else, if you could direct yourself to the exit it would be much appreciated." Dorians glances towards the exit of the library, the sooner the other left the better.

It was then that they took notice of the knife in the others hand, sighing at the sight, their night was already turning terrible.

" Put that way before you embarrass yourself. We are in a library." Dorian gestures around them as to make a point, as if it would stop this ridiculous situation that they found themselves in.

Okay how's this, can you write angst? Can you do (Huniepop) Tiffany, Audrey, Kyanna and Beli with an s/o who gets diagnosed with terminal illness?

Back from a long day, I try not to write angst since I have to be in a certain down mood for me to do it. Plus this hit a personal subject for me. Since I don't exactly want to turn down another request, I'll change it up a bit! Hopefully, this is fine.

How they are with a s/o with a disability

Tiffany Maye (Hard of hearing)

If we're going back to the first game, she wants to be a nurse, meaning she won't mind at all

Whether you can slightly hear or not, Tiffany will study a bit of sign language in order to better communicate, as she believes that communication is the key to all relationships

Subconsciously, she won't ever forget so she would always let you know in some way, shape, or form. She sees you in the distance? Then she'll walk up to you and poke your shoulder rather than call out your name (Unless you're the kind that could hear or have hearing aids)

Overall, she adapts to you pretty well and won't treat completely different

Audrey Belrose (Asthma)

(This is something I could get behind as I grew up with asthma myself and this is also a part two maybe)

It sort of depends on your character but since we're adding more to the previous ask, she makes it a priority to smoke less around you

She gets advice from Tiffany and takes it seriously, memorizing your triggers and how severe yours is specifically (I know my dad needed meds for his but mine wasn't too serious so I never needed them)

Unlike most people, Audrey won't baby you because not only does she wanna test your limits but also because you should be able to take care of yourself

She won't drastically change her living style for you, but she will try and that's what matters!

Kyanna Delrio (Arthritis)

Another thing based on experience, I'm not an expert but this is based on what I've learned from my dad’s own knee pains.

Here's the situation; you're at a park, minding your business, when a little toddler strolls up to you on the bench to curiously look at you. You're fresh out of surgery for your tendon so you can't exactly go looking for his mother without help. Instead, you begin talking with him... or at least pretending to. You don't exactly understand toddlers. That's how you meet Kyanna and how you became Philip's third favorite person, behind his mom and Tiffany.

Eventually, you begin to walk without the crutches and try to get back on your own feet. Of course, this is very hard to do at first but Kyanna provides a very strong support network with her family.

She’ll do light exercises with you to help keep that joint decent, but Kyanna won’t push you super much (This is an actual thing I do because severe arthritis runs in the family)

There will be times where Philip will go over line, like accidentally kicking your knee cap when he climbs, but Kyanna is always there to comfort you until the pain is gone :)

Beli Lapran (Visually impaired)

(I can’t write from a blind person’s perspective but hopefully this’ll work.)

This is a similar case with Tiffany where some factors kind vary. Like if you’re sensitive to light, she doesn’t mind using softer lights in the studio or apartment so you don’t strain your eyes. If you choose to use a cane, she makes sure to stay on your other side so you don’t accidentally hit her.

She’s not a loud person so if you’re one of those people who navigate fine in crowds, great! If not, Beli doesn’t mind quiet dates on the beach.

She does feel a deeper connection with you as she does know that you aren’t with her for looks, so she feels like she could be more comfortable talking with you.

Honestly, there will be times where she will accidentally coddle you. It’s up to you if you decide to tell her off or not. If there are ground rules, then Beli will make sure to respect your space! After all, if you’re confident enough to help yourself, then she should be too!
