The Woods
Massy watched as the shelves broke apart and shifted before his eyes. He smirked, watching as all the participants below him avoided the wood as it turned into long, tall trees.
The books on the shelves exploded, the pages fluttering around and turning into the leaves. Some even drifted down to the wooded floors. More library furniture seemed to explode into a flora. Railings became ferns, tables became rocks. It was all shifting and forming and settling into the setting they had held for the next theme.
Massy got to his feet, crossing his arms over his chest as he smiled to himself.
He remembered being out here, camping with his family and learning how to survive… Though certain other turtles always seemed to sneak the conveniences of the modern world with them.
A blue turtle making portals to bring snacks from the kitchen at home.
A purple turtle whose shell converted into a projector that they could watch their favorite movies with.
A red turtle who brought blankets and pillows, even when the rat said they would survive with grass.
An orange-
Massy tightened his hold on his pen and observed his surroundings. But he was bewildered at what he saw. Plenty of contestants seemed to.. Change. Massy wondered if his words had more of an effect than he thought. But that didn’t stop the amazement he felt as one of the contestants rode around on a giant wolf.
Massy loved creativity!! This was so cool!
A pair of twins dressed as a fairy tale classic reminded Massy of the old story. Turtles donning wolf ears everywhere he turned.
It was fun!
Massy quickly wrote something down on his notepad and in an instant, he had his own pair of wolf ears upon his head, but he didn’t stop to think too much about it.
Instead, he decided to run down the forest path, excited to see what was to come.
HA! You thought this was another code but it's not. Instead, I am merely here to encourage you to join the discord where you will be able to partake in more fun activities <3

"Freak Out" by Baaba Maal ft. The Very Best
DV:
One of the year's most dynamic songs, "Freak Out" is propulsive and driving, even as it drops into an extended bridge that becomes one of the song's most compelling parts. Credit where it's due to producer Johan Karlberg, who's become something of an expert at alchemizing acoustic and electronic sounds into something that sounds uniquely fresh and vital through his work with The Very Best and (more recently) Self Esteem. But "Freak Out" is one of the year's best because of how adeptly it transitions between Baaba Maal's keening vocal and Esau Mwamwaya's honeyed one and back again, distortion and beauty playing off each other and balanced adeptly, gloriously. This isn't the first collaboration between the two, but it's the best expression of the electricity in their combined approach to date - let's hope it won't be the last.
MG:
In its darkness and unrelenting drive, there is something almost Motorik about “Freak Out,” but where Krautrock felt like a geometric line, never beginning or ending just stretching endlessly straight, Baaba Maal and The Very Best are circular, more like sharks surrounding their prey than Volvo on the highway. All that churning, the sensation of swaying on top of the black waters which are about to consume you, is so compelling it verges on addictive. There are worse ways to die than lost in a perpetual groove, subsumed by pounding rhythms.

New Video: Baaba Maal Teams Up with The Very Best on Mesmerizing "Freak Out"
New Video: Baaba Maal Teams Up with The Very Best on Mesmerizing "Freak Out" @baabamaal @marathonartists @bighasslemedia
Acclaimed Senegalse singer/songwriter and guitarist Baaba Maal is a member of the semi-nomadic Fulani people. He first left his home in Podor, Senegal to perform music hundreds of miles away as a teenager — and he has been a wanderer ever since. “It’s part of my culture,” Maal says. “The songs travel from village to village, from country to country. It’s something natural to my tribe and this…
