I recently travelled Japan and when I saw the prompts for Gruvia week, somehow this popped up in my head. Can't tell y'all why, but here it is! Please be kind, otherwise I will cry.

The Gruvia fans were real nice to me last time, so here I am again, .. sorry? The floating Tori gate in Miyajima island is real pretty by the way, just saying. If you read the story, always think how pretty it is! Uh, yeah!

When he was very little, Gray’s adoptive mother Ur took him and his foster brother Lyon to the floating shrine gate, a tall, orange structure that stood out in the water almost as if it was placed on its surface, when it probably ran deep enough to stand on the ground beneath. She put her hand on both her boy’s shoulders and told them matter of factly: “This is where you meet the goddess of water.”

Gray, who had always been fascinated by the different forms that water could contain, rain, waves, rivers, morning cold, and his very much beloved snow, had just about held himself back from gasping at that admittance. 

“There is a goddess of water?” His eyes went wide over the calm water in front of him to the shrine gate at the back. It seemed so very huge to him, as if a hundred men could have never carried it out there. With the way the sun illuminated the space right behind it there was no doubt in his mind that a god could live there. Despite his passion for water, he had never himself been out to sea.

Ur smiled at him: “Of course there is. Just like there are gods for sky and earth and plants and the seasons. They are honoured at different shrines than this one though, this one is only dedicated to water.” She stopped for a moment and then laughed a little. “You know Gray, each year you ask me when the snow will be falling, that is something you could ask the goddess for, since she can actually make it happen.”

“Really?” The little boy felt his eyes shine at the prospect.

The Dragonborn doesn't know where he is when he finally wakes. His limbs feel heavy, his eyes burn and his mind is foggy. He hears some shouting and heavy footsteps, but he's still unsure of what's happening. Perhaps if he rested his eyes some more . . .

When he wakes again, he doesn't have to guess who sits at his bedside. Clearly, he can see Demetrius sitting beside him. Holding his hand. Ásgeirr lets out a soft groan, attempting to sit up but ultimately decides to continue laying down. He stayed. He stayed. Ásgeirr came for him, and Demetrius stayed. He can recall his return from Sovngarde — his cry of Dremrahgol through the Skyrim sky, watching him land and transform just in time to catch the Dragonborn as he collapsed after the defeat of the World Eater. It played clearly in his mind. He didn't remember anything after that. Just here, with his hand being held and the nicest pair of eyes staring down at him that contained some level of concern. “ Hi los het. ” He says softly, as if he were afraid someone may hear.

The low, rumbly sound of Demetrius' voice is a comfort to him, one he hasn't felt in so long. “ Dima. ” He says quietly, reaching out to try and cup the face of his . . . friend? Companion? Partner? He didn't know. There were a lot of conversations to be had, about the fight between himself and Alduin, about the kiss they shared before he traveled to Sovngarde. They had all the time in the world now. “ Hi meyz. ” He whispers, then musters all the strength he could to sit up, allow them to be on the same level. “ Zu'u daal wah hi. Zu'u dein dii vahrot. ”

A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF:

So I've been around for a while. I was around in 2014 or 2015 during the other group and when Isola came to be back in 2018, I followed. A friend of mine actually was the one to introduce me back in 2014 to the group and I liked it. Before then, I was rping on Skype, Myspace, and some others I forgot. I also used to RP in real life with said friend as well. Damn, so I've been LARPING since grade school and then started writing them out in middle school. Anyway, I'm always looking to better my writing skills and grammar. You'll see me sometime in the Discord group chat asking questions ^^;.

I love making OCs, whether it's on my own or making an OC with other people! I've been blessed to make OCs with so many here and I hope to continue making more. Thanks, Lethe, Lumine, and Jan! You guys rock <3

I like anime, though I've been watching more Kdramas and just YouTube and shit. Thanks to my partner who's been watching Kdrama with me, I get to introduce all kinds of flavors so I hope she likes it 👀. If we're Discord buddies, you may catch me playing SIMS a lot and while I play SIMS quite a bit, I am also interested in other games such as:

Final Fantasies (I haven't played them all but I have some favorites), Left Four Dead, Beyond Two Souls or any games that are similar to that, Life Is Strange, The Last of Us, and much more. I can play spooky games like Outlast 1 & 2 but I get easily spooked and am a Whimp. might be fun to watch me play these gamers cuz you'll laugh I guess. Resident Evils are good too.......I need to play the game that my partner got me. Whoops. So many games to play and only currently one on my mind. Sims 4.

mindless self indulgence feels like a void inside me i am so serious rn. i was first introduced to them when i was 11 they have been in my life for Eleven Years their music has been integral to my development my tastes my personality they define a huge part of my Experience being a middle schooler. i used to be nervous about liking them because it felt like my friends had "claimed" them so it was hugely triumphant when i finally got really into them years after i stopped being friends with those people. this band's music has been so important to me for so many years and they are just terrible people. i dont even talk about jimmys solo music outside of vague mentions because. god he just sucks. its easy to make my "people i hate need to stop making music i love" posts every couple months but it like Hurts. everything about msi feels like a betrayal
